Sir,

My Policy no.[protected],[protected] from LIC . I had paid the premium of 28492 Rs for both the two policies on 15 sept 2008 vide netbanking. Some how on 27 Oct 2008 same amount got deducted through my ICICI bank account via ECS .

I have sent mail to LIC for the refund of extra amount but no response for past 7 days . Also no one is picking up the phone no. of helpline given on website.

Really bad If i had known earlier such type of service is there of LIC I would not have enrolled any of my policies.

I file my tax return for 01.04.2006 to 31.03.2007. Tds details are as mention below.

Total tds amt. Rs. - 1320.00
Till date i am not received the refund. So i request you to send the status of my refund on my mail address. Also i request you to send the refund cheuqe as early as possible.

this same thing had happened to me too
where i had sufficient balance in my account then too LIC had not deducted my amount and I had to pay penalty for the same.
so there should be some action taken against this ECS system.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I've taken one LIC policy bearing no.[protected] for self. The SA is Rs. 1 lac & DOC is 28th jan 2002. As per the policy, I'm supposed to get 15% survival benefits of SA after 5 years. So far, I've not recd any cheque for Rs. 15000 from LIC for the survival benefits.
Kindly help me to get the survival benefit cheque after 5 years along with interest since the due date for this payment was 28 Jan 2007.

I Pradeep Chandra S/o Sri Chhotey Lal R/o 5-B, Chak Dondi, Naini, Allahabad 211008, is working in Indian Oil Corporation. I had got a LIC insurance at Panipat in June 1999 for sum assured of Rs.50000/- that was money back policy as informed by the agent and the premium is contineously deducting from my salary. But till date I have not got any money back amount. Details of LIC of India policy is mentioned below. My Contact no.is [protected]

I made a online payment on 4th oct 2008 by lic site.When i tried to pay online first time(by ICICI DEBIT CARD) it shows error.So i go for the second time, it was successfull.But from my account two times money was deducted.when i call to ICICI bank they told we paid 2 times to LIC.But when i called to LIC, they are telling our system is not working now you called after few days.i called pune lic customer care so many times but i didn't get any response.But from the branch itself i come to know that only one time payment was made.Then who is responsible for this.How can i get back my money.who will give (LIC or bank?

Dear sir,

My father has taken a housing loan and due un avoidable circumstance he was not able to continue the EMI. Because of this LIC raised a court case. After I finished my studies i started to repay the amount and the loan has been closed on 18.10.2006(almost 2 years ago).
While completing the loan LIC manager said that I will get the house documents with in 6 months (Because it was in the court).But still I did not receive my original documents from the LIC.
Whenever I contact LIC they are telling that document is delaying in the court and they are asking me to go the court with layer to get the documents. I have shifted my family to Hyderabad and it is very difficult for me to Coimbatore to follow up this document.
Please suggest where I can compliant regarding this to get my documents as soon as possible.

Sir,

I am a senior citizen lady aged 68 years taking care of my pralysed husband. I have shifted my residence from Bangalore since 2004 after my husband was paralysed.
I HAD taken A PENSION SCHEME - LIC policy with no[protected] in 2003
I have initimated LIC TO MAKE A NOTE OF MY CHANGE IN ADDRESS AND SEND ME PREMIUMS FOR THE POILCY NUMBER[protected] to the new address mentioned below :

MSUNDARAMBAL, NO 21 KAMARAJAR STREET, MAHALINGAPURAM, POLLCAHI-642002.
But i have not been receving the same since 2004 and the total premium due from LIC is around 1 lakh .

May I request your goodselves to help me in this issue to get me all my dues since 2004 and also amend my address as mentioned above .

Though I have been sending repeated lettesr I have not been getting any corrospondence from them .

Looking forward to your kind help .

My father had bought a 20 years Money back policy in my name in 1998. He paid a total premium of around 60000 in two years. He couldn't pay the premium from then due to finacial instablity. When i was checking my old records I found this. I requested LIC to renewe my policy or refund my premium deducting penalty if any. They say as I had not paid premium for 3 years and renew within 5 years my policy is lapsed . So nothing can be done in such case.

THE FOLLOWING POLICIY WAS MATURED IN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2009

1. POL No 26251123

Accordingly the policiy, alongwith claim form was sent to LICof India, Hardwar BO-I in the month of June 2009.
But despite of all efforts through letters and email and contacts over telphone, I could not recieve the payment of the policy so far.
When i contacted Mr Saxena Branch Manager he transferred the phone to Mr Sharma (the concerning officer looking after the maturity payments. Mr Sharma never reply in positive way.
Once he told "HAMARE PASS BAHUT AUR BHI KAM HAI, JAB FURSAT HOGI TAB DEKHENGE, PURANA CASE HAI FILE NAHI MIL RAHI HAI"
Next time when I contacted Mr Sharma he said" AAP JOR SE NAHI BOLENGE, DHEERE BOLIYE, DEKHTA HOON APKA PAYMENT KAISE HOTA HAI".
And Mr Sharma prooved it true. The payment of the aforesaid policies have not been made so far.
Sir it is the position of the officer of organisation who is corporate agent of LIC what to say of the general public.
I therefore request you to please arrange to redress my grievance and help me in getting payment of the aforesaid policies alongwith interest for the over due period.

Sir,
I want to inform that the afore said policy was wrongly treated and considered as the “Surrender case”
Actually the forms for finalization of policy were sent to me before one year to submit the same duly filled in. I did not fill the forms, but when I received the forms second time I asked my agent about the forms. The agent suggested me to fill in the forms and mention, whether I want to opt the pension or want the full payment in one lump sum.
It is true that I opted for one lump sum but it was after the maturity period of the policy, and I opted for one lump sum, because there was column/option for one lump sum.
This was treated as the “Pre mature surrender case”, and it was treated like wise.
I did not want the Pre mature surrender case, as I was not in need of money, and I was ready to pay the premium up to the maturity date.
This was totally wrong dealing by The LIC. Rather it is a clear cut case of cheating
How can any body, who is a regular premium payer, can opt for premature surrender of the policy, and that too before one year only? This is a huge loss to me, given by the LIC.
Please enquire in the matter and take appropriate action, and review the case immediately.
I was misguided by LIC and taken the forms duly filled in and wrongly treated as the “Pre mature surrender case”

In this reference I want to state that I had enquired in the grievances cell of LIC vide my complaint No:239185, but they informed me that the case have been closed
Further they informed that there is no option for one lump sum payment.
Now I just want to ask that if there is no option for one lump sum payment , then why did they mention in their claim form for one lump sum payment ?
Is it not the mis-guiding to the customers or cheating with the customers ?
I , there by request to please look in the matter and if possible arrange to give me the justice in the case.

Actually it is a clear cut cheating by the LIC with the customers.
The customers pay the premium through out the life even during their hard financial days and the Authorities of LIC mis guide them, during filling the claim forms and put them in huge loss.

Dear Sir,

I have a Home loan with LIC HF, Jaipur branch for the purchase of a flat which is under construction, total cost of the flat is some where around Rs. 2500000/-.Intial amount of rs. 3, 50000/- has been paid by me and rest of it was expected from the loan. The initial application was submitted in year 2006 and the amount that got sanctioned was 2125000/- (Rs. Twenty one Lacs twenty five thousand) but there was no requirement of any amount disbursement due to delay in the construction for around 7 months.

I got to know from your DSA Mr. R. A. Sharma that the loan needs to be reprocessed for the same project if there is no loan amount has been disbursed for 6 month from the date of processing and a new processing charge was taken for that. This time the loan amount was suddenly reduced to Rs. 18, 50000/- by saying that my last income statement was considered and the interest rate was changed so the eligibility was reduced that was something not expected as my income was also increased from what I was having in year 2006. My understanding is that the new documents should have been considered while processing a new application.

I had one more problem that in some of the regular communication I noticed that it is showing the total loan amount as Rs 14, 00000/- and few of them are showing Rs. 1850000/- for this I have given a written request in Vaishali Nagar on 13 Jan 2008 regarding this discrepancy of the loan amount but there is no communication from LIC HF till date for the same.

Now again there was a disbursement request of 6.96 lacs from the developer and total amount released is around 3.24 lacs. I am not able to understand as Mr R. A. Sharma is not giving me any details regarding this.

Please correct the data as soon as possible for the loan at your end and provide me the correct information of my loan.

Let me know if some more information/documents are required from my side.

1. What is the Housing loan amount withdrawl 16 Lakhs or 20 Lakhs.
2. Now a days rate of interest getting down for housing loan but my EMI is still constant Rs 15507.
3. What is the balance amount have to pay.

I get family pension under the stated scheme. My annuity no is 6250 & Policy no is 47418.
I have not received the pension cheques for the period 28.10.2008 to 28.09.2009 till date.
Earlier I have received all the cheques without delay.
Please look into the matter & expedite the delivery. I am dependent on this earning only for my my livlihood.

I have similar complaint.My annuity Policy (no 8120)was being serviced till 2008 with silent efficiency by LIC, Pune, Shivajinagar. After transfer of papers to Kolkata by LIC, Pune(no. allotted by Kolkata[protected]no acknowlegement or action to send cheques by LIC, Kolkata inspite of repeated reminders ! One doesnot know what to do.

This is regarding the premium I paid towards policy #[protected]. I paid premium on 12th September 2009 through LIC gateway but on 15th October 2008, automatically premium amount of Rs. 28156 is deducted from my account. I consulted ICICI bank for the same and they said it is a request made by LIC of India and automatic debit was made from my account. Hence I request you to please work on this issue and transfer back my money because it is meaningless to pay premium twice in a year for the same policy. I have the receipt of payment made too.

5238/- on dated-07/10/08 my a/c successfully debited. but no detail found thru lic india website regarding this premium rect. and payment paid history. kindly let me know abt my money where it's credited or any return is in transit? detail of my a/c statement is attached in file.

I have given Rs.6000 to Sh.Jitendra Kumar Dwivedi LIC Agent at Westcott Building, MG Road. Kanpur for revival of my policy & deposit of premium & it was informed me that premium was deposited and Premium Paid statement is also showing that through cheque Agent has deposited the premium. But the cheque deposited by him was returned to my Kanpur house as unpaid due to insufficient funds. I am surprised to note that when I have given cash why he has deposited the premium through cheque causing bounch back of cheque. Keeping faith in LIC and its agents I have given cash but he has manipulated to me as well as LIC also. Please take necessary steps against the agent and intimate me the deposit of premium by them
