Dear Sir,

Myself archana singhal apply for a home loan from LICHFL pune office. My executive is Yogesh Aggarwal . From last three months i am follwing him for the loan . But every time when i ask for the cheque he gave me a new list for the required document. And when i collect all the documents from my side and ask him to collect every time the reply is i don't have any time you came to my office and give to me i will be available .

From last three months this is the service they are providing to the customer His manager Rajneesh they don't pick the phone and misguide us through their other employees .

Please help because our builders is asking for the pending money and he is alredy charged interest for not giving the payment on time.

Yes am also a victim of this interest rates I took home loan from LIC HFL for 11.25 but they have not reduced it to the newer rates not able to understand why these financial institutions are partial about new customers why don't they bother about existing customers at all..

i am suffering from two month by LIC
i changed my EMI to other account i put application and reqiuerd formalties
but i am sorry to say that what LIC doing with my acount
I have also applied for LIC home loan. My all documents are with then and my loan disbursment should be done 3 weeks before but still no progres in that. I met manager and staff they are giving me a reason from past 1 week saying no title report recied from back office/main office. I believe they are not following up as its a government organisation no one to ask them.
I want to raise a case in consumer forum for LIC saying remove there Fair practise code, any word saying disbursment in 3 days with all documents. Please helpe me to raise this complaint to consumer court so that afterwards no government organisation will never try to play with their consumer.
This what happening in my case too. This is really looking like a cheating. I have submitted/updated my application for more than two times. still they have not released a single check. Now they are telling to get a legal clearance from a lawyer.Really i am disappointed with the service of LIC.
Avoid LIC housing. I first month itself they have shown poor professionalism, there is no sense of timeliness, interests are more than HDFC and there are number of hidden costs.
The agent and LIC manager said there were no pre-payment charges upto 20%. But it is not mentione in the contract when I got it. Their explanation was 'yahan aise hi hota hai', if we write in contract people will exploit it.
They issued the cheque 1 week before it was required and charged Rs 6k broken period interest. Explanation was 'next week some staff would be on leave'
PSU banks and other FIs have better offers and services. LIC housing is a floundering company banking on the reputation of the parent organization
Yes..True...At the time of availing the loan they are giving wrong commitment that RoI will not be increased for 6-12 months but after 3 months without any intimation they are increasing the RoI...and in fact if i requested them not to increase my loan tenure because of increase RoI instead asked them to increase EMI...they are telling that conversion charges is applicable for revision of EMI...this lending institution is also like other private bank...
I want to bring in my case with LIC home loan too.

I did apply for a loan in local branch (say branch#1) in Andhra Pradesh State as the property is located in Andhra and I work in other state (other than Andhra Pradesh). I did sumit all the required documents within defined time. Branch#1 reviewed the compiled documents and processed till my loan is sanctioned.

The delay started from then. Branch#1 suppose to get a verification certificate from the location where I work (Branch#2) and as part of that branch#1 has sent the file to branch#2 via courier and the tracking also says that it has been reached to destination on time. Branch#2 did not perform the verification for more than a week until we checked that the verification has not been completed. The response that we got from Brach#2 is that they have never received the file. After many requests from us, Branch#2 found the file one corner of the office and tried to bud sling on brach#1 that the file has just arrived.
Because of the delay, I had to postpone my registration twice and facing hard time to find another good time for registration as per astrology. The delay is impacting my office leave as well as I need to apply for a leave every time my registration is scheduled and travel back to work when it is cancelled.

The person I spoke to in the Brach#2 is not LIC permanent employee, appears like she is a contractor or temporary employee.

Overall, as a customer I dont like the delay for unknown reason.
The LIC regional branch response & serice is not quite good.

I appreciate if regional manager (TN) can take this point and improve the service and quailty in responging to the customer and processing the files without delay.
Hey man, do not do mistake of going with LIC. They lure with cheaper interest rate. Believe me on 4th month onward they make you sit at 11.9%. You may be thinking LIC is government company and do fair business like SBI. Do not get trapped by that. Try in SBI, if not possible, try in IDBI which is also nice.

These LIC are not reducing interest rate even RBI cut rates recently twice or thrice. But this bloody company will immidiately increase the moment RBI increase the rate.

    LIC — what about my policy it has some amount in it or not i want a complete information about it.

    1) My Policy no.[protected]. I use to pay premium at Dadar TT & Kalachouki Branches but now both are closed. I want to know nearest branch to my house. My resident is at Paral Village. 400 012.

    Policy No.[protected] – Jeevan Mitra – Double – Date of Policy 15/07/1997

    The above policy was taken purely as per the requirement of the housing loan taken from LIC Housing Finance Limited to cover the payment risk in case of death of the insured.

    The quarterly premiums were regularly paid even after my shifting the residence from Mumbai to New Delhi in August 2000.

    I used to either send the premium cheque to your Mumbai Branch Office or deposit the amount in New Delhi itself through WAN facility.

    Over the period of time, I found it difficult to pay the premium at New Delhi as your WAN system was continuously not working.

    In order to avoid the difficulties, when I visited Mumbai, I visited your Mumbai Branch and submitted a request letter for changing the policy to New Delhi Branch. The request letter was accepted by the Mumbai Branch and receipt no.22772 dated 11/3/03 was given. Thereafter, I had received a formal letter dated 29/4/03 from your Mumbai Branc confirming the transfer of my account/policy to Bhikaji Cama Place Branch in New Delhi and directed me to pay the premium to the said Branch w.e.f. 15/4/03.

    With this letter, I approached the Bhikaji Cama Branch in May’03 for payment of the Premium for the quarter April-June ’03. However, I was told that they did not receive any papers and asked me to wait for some more time.

    Again I visited Bhikaji Cama Place Branch on 12/5/03, when they confirmed that they had received the hard copy of my file and informed me that I can pay the premium, but I would not get proper receipt and I would be given only Policy Deposit Receipt. With a view to pay the premium on time, I agreed to the same and paid the paid and got the Policy Premium Receipt.

    Subsequently when the next premium for the quarter Jul-Sept’03 was due in Jul’03, again I approached the Branch, but I was told the same reply.

    On 12/8/03 when I came with the premium cheque, they did not accept the same. When I met the Manager of the Branch he informed that in view of non-receipt of soft-copy from their Mumbai Branch, they could not accept the cheque. When I enquired as to what to do with the premium cheque, shot came the reply that I have to wait or take up the matter directly with Mumbai Branch.

    My letter dated 4/11/03 giving the entire background as mentioned hereinabove also did not get any response from the Branch.

    Surprisingly, my follow-up letters dated 20/1/04, 4/8/04, 30/5/05, 07/11/06 and 20/05/07 were all received and acknowledged by the Branch, but orally I was informed that they did not yet get the soft copy of Policy from Mumbai Branch.

    Accordingly, I could not pay the premium, even though not due to my fault. Due to non-payment of premium, I could not get Income Tax rebate every year. Further, LIC Housing Finance charged me 0.5% interest additionally due to non-payment of premiums.

    It is quite strange that due to advent of modern technology and with the entry of various competitors, LIC is simply not taking any action on the request of the VALUED policy holder for several years.

    In view of the above I request for re-payment of the Premiums already paid alongwith interest, bonus and I do not want to continue with LIC as I have already taken policies from Private parties, who are giving better service.

    If required, I can forward the documentary evidence for the aforesaid sequence of events.

    I have taken up the matter with the Branch and the Regional Office, but all in vain.

    I want prompt action (at least now) on your part.
    Please send me Premium payment statement for the year 1-4-2006 to[protected], 1-4-2007 to[protected] & 1-4-2008 to[protected] regarding my Policy No.[protected]/[protected],[protected]/[protected] &[protected].

      Dear Sir,
      This is to inform you that I Narayan Balwant Korange had taken a Policy for Rs.50000/- from Mr.Yuvraj Rane Agency Code No.01022901 on 28/12/2006 Policy no.[protected] for which I have paid premiums for nearly two years because he was my collogue.
      I am sorry to say that I have not yet received my policy document nor any of the receipts for payment towards the policy except the first receipt. Now my policy stands lapsed because of the negligence on the part of my collogue whom I trusted so much. He has left our company, when I tried to contact him he used to avoid and switch off his mobile.
      Since I belong to Uttaranchal, I do not have a bank a/c, so I used to give him cash to be paid towards my renewal premiums.
      Now kindly help me renew my policy document by recovering two years renewal premiums from Mr. Rane who is my agent and also send me my policy document.
      Kindly renew the policy without charging me any interest as it has lapsed due to Mr. Ranes negligence.
      See that you debar his licence so that he is not able to bully innocent people like me. The reputation of L.I.C. of India is at stake.

      Since 1994 Rs.270/- have been deducted from salary LIC'S salary saving department at Santacruz says we do not have detail of policy. Unfortunately I am also not having the details of the Policy NO[protected]. Now LIC'S Santacruz office says we will treat this as surrendra of Plicy. I think this policy is taken from yor branch no--893, . Pl help me.

      I am Chandran.
      We are doing Home loan Transfer from one bank to LIC. We paid directly 5000 in LIC intially. After that, the agent received 25, 000 from us. He said, that is for processing fee. We are asking receipt for that last 4 months. He is not giving for that.

      Currently he is asking another 25000 for his service charge. We are processing for the amount of 2100000. We have closed our loan in Existing Bank. Existing bank will send the doc to us.

      After get that, we have to submit in LIC. Then only they will reduce the priciple, Otherwise they deduct the interest only.

      So that agent telling, he will not process if we didnt give for him 25000.

      Kindly let us know, What to do?.

      Is there any way for submit the doc directly?.

        Dear Sir, On 18.5.08 my wife died in road accident near Shankri dist Salem state Tamilnadu. in the accident i also injured and factured on my right leg. For the death claim I given the bellow dacuments to the office Death Certificate, FIR report, Postmortom report, Original bond. and news paper report of accident but they did't accept the Newspaper report. Policy holder name Meena L shah policy no[protected]. I think what ever the proof given are sufficient. They send a letter dated on 19.1.09 for two more dacuments PIR on spot and PIR on deadbody, for this I am unable to travel to salem, and I have 3 year daughter and my self factured on my right leg, so kindly take necessary action for the claim. thanking you.           I was remained out of coverage of LIC for 2007-09 due to mistake of LIC.
          Further, you refused to accept my premium in time twice.
          crm.[protected]@licindia.com wrote that complaint No:158984 Dated:15/02/2009 for Policy:[protected] is closed.
          How it was decided?
          I expect point wise answers.
          What is action on my out of coverage status?.
          Why one of my cheque of premium kept in LIC, Gurgaon till date?.
          LIC, Anakapalle has charged extra-money from me without any reason in 2006.
          Now, I am not interested to pay penalities due to the mistake of LIC.
          Please, provide adequate justice to me / customers.

            Respected Sir,

            We have two policy with LIC branch code 33B, Janakpuri, New Delhi, which was opened at Delhi. On permanent transfer from delhi in february 08 I was submitted an application regarding transfer of account from Delhi to Varanasi branch office G 209, Gouriganj, Bhelupur Varanasi alongwith New Address/Bank details/LIC address/phone numbers. I shifted to Varanasi.

            I waited till june08, But account not transferred.

            I put up fresh application to LIC Zonal office Varanasi But they refused to received and advised me to go delhi for transfer. I converse with telephone at Delhi several times and wait till december 08.

            I left delhi by Air and submitted application personnally to 33B, janakpuri, New Delhi(Received of application with me 7th Jan.09) and also meet to related officer regarding transfer of account on 7 th January 2009. But still date my acount not yet been transferred.

            I send lot of Email/telephone call etc/expence lot of money but failed to obtained require assistant from LIC of India.

            You are therefore requested, that kindly look in to and order to transfer my following account to Varanasi divisional office please.

            Over One Year has been passed and lots of money, time, mental harrassment, faced but result Zero.

            LIC of India behave like deaf& dumb and no officer of LIC Delhi/Varanasi willing to solve consumers problems.

            LIC have computerised branch all over India and seems that this work can be done within 10 minuts only to transfer account from one branch to another but laps of one year could not do so.

                I have a JeevanDhara Policy no.[protected] single premium paid maured on 1.3.2008 pension was to be commenced.                   I have submitted my loan request in Delhi Kasturba gandhi centre of LIC Housing Finance Ltd.
                  for a plot of ansal in Agra through Area manager Shailendra K singh and his manager Ajay.
                  I have submitted all my documents, they informed me that my company Aricent technologies ltd, sec 14, udyog vihar is not in their list and they need CAP 4 letter from gurgaon.
                  i went to Gurgaon centre and requested for CAP 4 for my company, they said that company is already approved by the backoffice. they have mailed in front of me to the area manager.
                  now issue is this area manager says that they havent recieved the mail, and here gurgaon centre people says that they have sent it.
                  i dont understand why two people of lic cant contact each other directly, this area manager is not ready to give his official email id and gurgaon center people are not ready to sent email to outside email id.
                  there is such a lack of communication among the LIC employees that is really frustrating.
                  my loan is on hold for such a rubbish thing for more than a week now.
                  i informed the area manager that my property will go on hold i need the loan asap, he said that we will get that in a week, and now its been more than a month i have applied to this loan.
                  is there any one in LIC who listens to the customers complaints.
                  will appreciate if get some one who really helps in LIC taking loan from LIC is really a pain.

                  I work for Aricent Technologies in Europe and for me I must say they are one of the worst run companies I have ever come across. They never pay the salary on time which is the most irritating issue as they hold it for 2-3 weeks before sanctioning it. The employs have no processes in place to do any work and are in many cases incompetent. Management have no idea how to manage people. All in all a terrible company to work for.

                    Sir/Madam,

                    I have an LIC Bima Gold Policy (number[protected] which commenced on 06/12/2005. The premiums were being paid directly from my salary. Last year I have resigned from the post I was holding previously and I had given a request to the concerned LIC manager through the agent by October last year. As yet I have received no information about this.

                    I have further send a request to make it possible for me to pay the premiums online to the manager by post. It was made possible to pay the premiums in the two other policies that I hold, but it remains impossible to pay in this policy.

                    My premiums from October 2008 are due for payment. Whom shall I contact for a solution to my problem?

                      As all o[censored]s know that due to various market conditions all the housing loan agencies including LICHFL have reduced the interest rates to much lower rate on their housing loan schemes being given to new
                      customers whereas my existing interest rate is still being maintained at 11%.

                      This practice is totally unfair and unethical. This is like luring new customers on lower interest rate and than chaniging it to higher rate after some time.

                      As a consequences, I'm paying higher EMI and interest on my home loan resulting into major increased financial burden.

                      I totally agree with you. They (LIC Housing finance) trap you with lower interest rate first and once you are their customer then they will start to increase the rate without your knowledge (It has happened to me, they have increased my interest rate twice without any communication). Other issue with LICHFL is there is no disclosure current of interest rate on internet so every time you need to know your current interest rate you need to call theri branch office and getting a person on phone is tough. I am feeling cheated by seeing their negative attitude towards the existing customers.

                      I am also facing the same problem. Now the behaviour of the agents changes. They just keep on giving new dates that you would get the confirmation by this month and the next and the next.

                      Now they say that the duration of loan has been reduced by 3 yrs. But there is nothing on paper as of today. I am following this up for the last 4 months

                          Dear sir,

                          Myself Bhaskar Ranjan has to narrate that presently we are facing a lot due to negligence type behavior of LIC towards its customer. My father purchased a policy from LIC in May 91 with policy no.[protected]. Unfortunately he died in on 19th Dec'08 leaving is in a great mental agony.

                          We informed yourself at that time through the agent from whom my father had taken the policy about demise of my father for getting claims.

                          Now after around 1 month of claim LIC is saying that as this policy was used as a guranty of one SBI loan my father took in July 2003, although it is already paid in 2007 and we have the no dues certificate, we need to submit succession certificate of my father.

                          Before i want to add that my mother is the nominee in the above stated policy.
                          Now the thing is even then the nominee is clearly mentioned in the policy paper your team is delaying the money settlement by ccreating the new thing to produce succesion certificate.

                          We all know that i takes around 6 months to get a succession certificate along with so much followups in court.

                          I am presently posted in Kolkata, therefore it is very difficult for me to get in touch with the LIC office at Dumka, Jharkhand and the agent who helped us to get the policy is also not giving any help. Due to belief only; my father, myself and my mother and my ssiters has taken policies by the same agent only; and now we are getting such reward for the same.

                          Subject: Death Claim problems
                          Dear sir,

                          Myself Alok Sharma has to narrate that presently we are facing a lot due to negligence type behavior of LIC towards its customer. My Mother purchased policies with policy no.[protected] &[protected]. Unfortunately she died in on 1st of may due cardio pulmonary arrest secondary to NIDDM & drug reaction.

                          We informed yourself at that time through the agent from whom my Mother had taken the policy about demise of my Mother for getting claims.

                          Now after around 1 Year of claim LIC is asking me her leave application and Medical certificate now i am submitting medical certificate as LIC asked and the leave application i have already submitted 1 year before at the time of claim with four year leave details by the signature of civil surgeon.

                          I am presently in Mumbai, therefore it is very difficult for me to get in touch with the LIC office at Hazaribagh, Jharkhand and the agent who helped us to get the policy is also not giving any help.

                          So please take some action and help me out of this problem and i shall be very obliged if do so.

Divn no. 2 hissar has pay the claim both natural & accidentel.But divn no. 2 hissar has pay only natural claim.                               LIC-JEEWAN DHARA ANNUITY — NON-PAYMENT OF ANNUITY CHEQUES BY THE BANK

                              I have post dated monthly cheques of LIC for anuity pYment of my Jeewan Dhara Policy No. [protected]. Banker of LIC(SBI) had rejected the cheque of July-09 twice. The matter had been reffered to LIC in July-09. On demand copy of the cheque and bank memos have been sent to North Central Zonal office Kanpur. Even after three reminders there is no compliance so far.

                                Dear Sirs,

                                My mother Mrs. Kumudini Bala had taken a LIC policy under "Varistha Pension Bima Yojana" scheme.
                                Policy no.[protected] dt. 28.03.2004. Unfortunately my mother expired on the 18th of March 2008. We have hence, applied for refund of the policy money to the nominee which is myself. All the required documents along with uncashed cheques were submited to LIC on 15th Nov. 2008, for which LIC has given a receipt .

                                I have followed up the matter several times and was ultimately assured that all the papers and cheques were located in the concerned officers office drawer. I am sorry to state that till date I have received no refund amount from LIC. Asking for a refund money after mothers death is in itself a work of deep agony & runing for the matter is still more pathetic.

                                Sir, please give a serious attention into the matter and do the needful as I fail to understand the unability of LIC to refund the due .

                                LIC- OF PENSION — REFUND

                                i was getting my pension ref no. [protected], and that was credit to my HDFC Bank .
                                But in Last March 17/03/2020 Bank has return the amount Rs. 7008/ with the remark Title Differ. As the transfer was made in the name of Praveen Kumar Sidhra. As my Bank Acount has the Name as Praveen Sidhra. Now I have made the correction in my bank, as now my Name there is Praveen Kumar Sidhra.You rare requested to send the transfer again .(ESC CR LIC OF INDIA VILE PA - [protected] OF 17/03/2010)

I was unable to understand how the account payee cheque can credited into another account being an account payee cheque. Being my self policy holder, i have not received the cheque so far. But i came to know that the cheque has been enchased in andhra bank at khammam branch. i am staying in visakhapatnam. The cheque has been encashed by the unknown person. How is it possible to encash the cheque being an account payee. Sir kindly solve this problem at the earliest and issue my cheque.                                     i have taken housing loan of Rs.12 lacs in Dec'08, at that time the rate of interest @ 11.25 (Floating), from last month the rate of interest for new customers they provided @9%, but for exiting customers like us are not enjoying the new rates. what we have done the mistake, why we can't enjoy the new low rates.
                                    this is not fair for the customers.again on the same side if the interest rate goes up they will increase the rate of interest from immd. effects. i request you pls. look in this matter immd.

                                    I agree with you, I have also taken loan in nov2008 @ 11.5 % and I m not getting any benefit of new rate of interest. I wil talk to them and try to switch loan from any other bank in couple of months and before that I would suggest everybody to don't go with LICHFL and try to raise the issue in media also.
                                    I also facing same problem, Pls. reply to me also.
                                    I completely agree with you. I am also a victim. In fact most of the banks are doing the same and Govt is not checking it. The behavior of Govt is ridiculous. If govt wants RBI can pose measures/restrictions for these bank., but its not doing it simply because Congress is ruling and they make money out of private banks and private banks are looting the common man. Please never ever vote for Congress. When BJP was in power, interest rate was less and the cabinet know how to use power. They were pretty quick to resolve such issues, but congress doesn't show any interest, but is making money in all this game.

                                    Yes. I also agree the same. Why this biased way of calculating interest for the old customer and new customer? Can governement give the answer for this or will they take any steps and standardize the interest rate for all?

                                    Or should the old customers would be punished by calculating high rate of interest obtained loan from LIC?
                                    All,

                                    Grass on the other side looks greener. The lower interest rate for new customers is only the trap. The lower rate that they give to new customers is fixed for 3 months and then later they link it to PLR and then it is same for all. LIC staff never disclose these details and never agrees to it even if asked for.

                                    So eventually after 3 months the new customers also joins the group of frustrated consumers!
