Dear Sir:

This is with reference to double payment of LIC Premium number[protected] in the month of September 2007 and October 2007.

Sir, on 21/09/2007, I paid an amount of Rs. 869 towards the policy number quoted above. On 07/10/2007, I paid the same amount through the Corporation Bank ATM, as it was still showing as due there,...

UTI VISA CARD — DEDUCTION OF LIC PREMIUM

I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST UTI BANK CREDIT CARD OFFICER THAT NOT TRANSFER ANY PAYMET TO ALLIANCE BAJAJ FOR ANY POLICY AS I HAVE NOT GIVEN CONFIRMATION TO THEM TO START THE POLICY.
I RECEIVE MESSAGE FROM "[protected]" AND MY CARD NUMBER IS "[protected]" THAT UTI BANK WILL DEBIT MY INSTALMENT AND SEND ME THE BILL FOR THAT AND I DON'T WANT TO START THIS POLICY SO PLEASE DO NOT DEDUCT ANY AMOUT FROM MY CREDIT CARD.
This is the problem with the Govt. working. See all other insurance sites are working perfectly. I have been trying to access the site since morning but have failed to do so.
totaly agree..... i'm trying since 1st week of Jan 2008, i wanted to pay my premium online also need reciepts but i dnt knw wats the problem in site... nobdy replying as wel as no feedback page opening for lic website.

LIC site is pathetic. Online premium payments are not at all reliable. I've paid premium couple of times. All the time it got timed out and didnt generate bill. But money got deducted correctly from my bank account. When I sent mail to grievance cell, they are not responding. I'll not join on any policies in LIC anymore.
Yes i agree, now we can see how govt. machinery is functioning.
I am trying to access this web from last 1 month but fail to do so.
I can't trust this web site and loosing my trust in LIC too.

the LIC_REF: MSBI[protected].



The amount has been debited from my state bank of india savings acconts.

But the premium receipt not available on the lic web page.



I need the paid premium receipt very shortly. Because I have to submit my tax saving proofs to my company and Tax department.



Please let me know if there is any alternative method to get my reciept for the paid premium.

Sir,
Following letter was sent to LIC, G.N. Chetty Road, T. Nagar Office (C.B.O.-14) Chennai D.O.-1 as second reminder by E-mail after i spoke to the concerned over phone. It is very difficult to get their telephone line. There is no response inspite of my repeated requests and so the following letter was sent 0n 19th Feb 08 that gives furthur details on the matter.
LIC can not survive in long run if people work in this fashion compared to other private coys.

LIC's Life Insurance Policy — Cheque not delivered, Bond not received

I have the following complaints, though I have inquired several times, no reply got yet
1) I have not received my Policy Bond against my policy no[protected] Now at Puri-Orissa, Branch but bought at Satara-Maharashtra)

2) I have not received the money back of Rs5000/- since Yr 2005.

Please look into the matter.

I have a policy (Money Back) bearing no.[protected] which started in March'88 for 20 years and due for matuaration in this month. This is a salary saving policy for which always the amount of premium were deducted from the salary and sent to the particular branch. But unfortunately a few premiums were not deposited in time by the salary deducting authority in the year 2001 and 2002 though it was deducted from the salary bill. However, the same was materialised after depositing the money by the policy holder with interest in September'05.
The policy holder's money back was due in March'2003 which was not released due to the nonclearance of above stated dues. However, the LIC personnels stated that the said money back amount will be realeased within the same month i.e. in September'05 when the dues was deposited with interest by the holder.
However, the true fact is this : the money was released on 6th March'08 (delay of almost 2 and 1/2 years) for which practically there was no reply from the officials.
May I have the opportunity to know why I will be deprived to get the interest @ 11.5% (As LICHFL is taking from loanee)on the money back amount for the delayed payment while the department is claiming interest as and when the policy holder delays and whether it will not be appropriate to go to the Consumer Forum for this harrasment?
Please reply early.

I paid my premium online. Since the site was slow, the premium got debited from my account twice. I have written many mails to the to the company asking for refund but there has been no response.
It is a shame that such a big company like LIC is not at at all senstive to ccustomers need. I will wait for few more days before lodging a complaint in consumer court.

I was just going through different types of complaints of all of you mostly regarding the LIC site not working properly.

Friends, i am an insurance agent with LIC & would like to inform you the following things:

1. LIC site is under repair for some time now & will be back in function soon. For the time being, if you have to get your premium payment certificate, you can send a written request to your respective LIC branch where from you were issued the policy or you can contact ur respective agent in case he/she is in contact with you. If you need any particular format you can mail me at bahuguna.[protected]@gmail.com. For all the payments maid through internet from anywhere, payment receipts are issued through a centralized place (in mumbai). So, you will receive your respective receipts through that channel but for the time being for i-t purpose, you can send request to the branch.

2. The cheques issued by LIC clearly mention that they are "valid for 3 months" & if you cross the deadline, you will have to go for the fresh one.

3. Those people who are having any problems relating to their policy servicing, like not getting premium intimations on time or not able to know their status, plz register your policies with me, i will provide you the following services:
1. Premium alerts on mobile anywhere in the world.
2. Moneyback/Maturity alerts on mobile anywhere in the world.
3. Revival quotes.
4. All the above on e-mail also.

Just send me ur name, policy number, mobile number & e-mail Id.

I want to see the status of my policy No.[protected] but im disappointed im trying from past 2 days please solve my problem im helpless because im working
LIC site is pathetic. Online premium payments are not at all reliable. I've paid on line premium on 05/052008 and found that the money for the same is deducted correctly from my bank account.

When i tried 4 taking the Print of the Premium receipt, am not able to procced. But this is happening 4 many of them.

Self has got similar Policies with ICICI Pru, Bajaj Allianz but there is no problem there and the response for any grievance is overwheming,

This is customer delight.

LIC has to pull up its socks to be more competitive and be Customer friendly ...

This is the Problem with the Govt Insurance companies.

Please let me know if there is any alternative method to get my reciept for the paid premium.

This policy is my first policy & am continuing this policy from last 3 yrs, making the premium on time, today I have gone to deposit the premium at Bhubaneshwar-Branch no-II (Kharvel Nagar) at 10 o'clk sharp. the office is totally closed (suprisingly), it opens around 10:30am & the casher came down 11o'clk
when already a big que has been created, as I was at earlier customer so I thought i will be get rid of this que very early, but when I was going to deposit the money counter arround 11:15am the cashier said
link is fail you have to wait, I have waited another 15 minutes & after lots of request to other customer I again deposit the money the cashier again saying link is failure but surpringly one Bhadrak branch policy amount deposited, cashier is saying as this out of station Branch so it is taking time & he refuse to accept the amount.

Then I move to higer authority Asis Kr pal who said ABM -Sales rather helping me he told me why do not u deposit the amont through "AXIS Bank".
Other person come Named Mr.Ashok Kr Patra he said him self Branch Manager, he is declairing the statement customer like me sgould not opt lic & do whatever I can.

I am really stunned this is the way the employee of LIC harrases customer, if in the time of depositing money this kind of harrasment I faced then what will be in claiming the money.
Request to GM of LIC pls take the issue seriously to take proper action & kindly educate the employee of customer handling soft skills & punctuality.

This is a complaint. Please look into it. I have been receiving pension from LIC for the last one and a half years. LIC had sent me cheques for the duration upto March 2008. Sub: Non receipt refund amount of Rs 1644/- Form- Policy No:[protected] Due for payment on 28/03/2008.

With the above subject, i had been paid Rs 18356/- out of 20, 000/-, on my enquiry it was informed me that there is a gap prem of three months ( 6th, 7th&8th months of 2005), same was clarified by submitting my pay slip in the first week of april-08.Repeated intraction with LIC, Hubli BIII( DWD Div) Lamigton road Hubli. Pin 580020. Till date no refund is claimed by LIC department.
Being a railway officer it is embracing me to visit every week to get th position with LIC staff.It is once again requesting to authority to look in to the matter and necessary action may be taken concerned for the non-cooperating of your staff.

I am surprise that why these complaints were not solved by the LIC of India.

It shows that how fast our Govt.organisations are working and this is the main reason people are adopting policies from private insurance companies although every one knows that to adopt the policies from private companies is risky.

The government employee does not care about your problem, reason behind that there is not system of hire & fire as the private organisations doing. The govt.should have also the system of Hire & fire so that the working can be smooth and all complaints or the querries should be shorted out in time.

I have LIC policy which is around 10 years old.
Mean while I relocated to some other place. Therefore not getting any mails or communications from LIC since than.
I tried to inform LIC office to change my address. But no one is picking up the phone. All the 3 delhi numbers are not working since last few weeks.
I do not how to get my address changed. I wrote an e-mail to LIC office but no response for its acceptance or any thing else.
Every year I have to go my old location from where I purchased my LIC and make my yearly payment.
I am really fedup with this type of service being provided by LIC. No one seems to be owner or responsible for maintaining the customers. Everyone is intrested to get new customrs only and earn money for thyemselfs.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform that I have been a regular subscriber of LIC, Port Blair branch (Br. No. 429) since 2000 and accordingly inventing in various plans. This March a sum of Rs. Twenty Thousands only (Rs. 20000/-) has been due against ‘money back’ skim in respect to “Jeevan Surabhi” (T-T 108-25 & No.[protected] policy. I am sorry to express my annoyance that till date I have not been received the same yet either directly or through my agent from the local LIC authority.

In continuation, I also would like to inform my awful experience in regard to the same. During my tour to Calcutta in March, 2008; in connection with a National Conference on “Abnormal Haemoglobin Disorders in Human”; I received a call from Mr. Dhruti Sundar Jana (Mob. [protected]/[protected], claimed himself as ‘Authorized Financial Consultant, LIC, Port Blair’, informing that my ‘money back’ is already due and that would be sent to me as soon as I would resume duty at Port Blair. It was first week of April, when Mr. Jana personally met me at my office (Anthropological Survey of India) and proposed for re-investment of that ‘money-back’ amount into Market Plus scheme. However, I declined his proposal, as I do usually invest in twice - September and February; through one very particular agent. The same also conveyed to my agent and on inquiry it was known that my cheque has collected by some other agent. Telephonically this was informed to the local authority of LIC, Port Blair but the reply was inappropriate to his position rather skeptical. In May, an unknown boy of an age 20-22 appeared to my DNA-Laboratory, Port Blair carrying a cheque of that value and requested to receive the same. On inquiry, it came to know that boy is an employee of a local civil contractor and pre-instructed to handover the cheque. I readily refused him, as I am not intended to receive cheque from any person except my agent. However, I asked that boy to meet his employer with me immediately. Unfortunately that person (who sent the cheque) not appeared till date, which was inevitable. Simultaneously, the local authority of LIC, Port Blair is keeping mum on the issue. Meanwhile, I understood from various reliable sources that the cheque was collected by many agents(!) and returned undelivered to LIC office on several occasions since May, 2008. In this connection, I also would like to inform that the same also happened with two of my colleagues also, even with many persons at Port Blair.

I always preferred LIC for any possible investment, because of its’ half a century old traditions and reputations in the arena of ‘Life Insurance’. However, our recent experience fails to differentiate between Life Insurance Corporation of India and other Chit Funds. Moreover, the local authority is indifferent towards investors’ security. (e) What circumstance another person was allowed to deliver a cheque while one was failed to do so? (f) What were the specific reasons for undelivered cases for several attempts, that too in a small township of Port Blair? (g) How long that could be in practice on trial and error basis? (h) What were the specific reasons for non-availing of Postal /courier services? (j) How did recurrences o[censored]ndisbursed cases followed-up at management level? (j) What were the initiatives taken from managerial level since disbursement of a cheque that too within a distance of mere 300 mts. could not possible for almost five months? (k) Why did the concerned agent not asked for intervening into the pending case? (l) What made this case keep neglected for a prolonged period- overcastting illicit elements on management level or inabilities in making decisions at local level? (m) Does this incidence not enough to establish the incompetence and irresponsibility at managerial level? And for your kind information there are sizeable incidences happened in A&N Islands this year.

Yes, I could ensure that LIC, Port Blair only could make cock and bull stories in support of their mischievous attitudes towards customer rather reply satisfactorily. In a nut-shell, whole incidence and experience tends to faithlessness and doubtful integrity of the existing set-up of the Life Insurance Corporation of India, Port Blair. In this circumstance, any further investment would not be wise.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform that I have been a regular subscriber of LIC, Port Blair branch (Br. No. 429) since 2000 and accordingly inventing in various plans. This March a sum of Rs. Twenty Thousands only (Rs. 20000/-) has been due against ‘money back’ skim in respect to “Jeevan Surabhi” (T-T 108-25 & No.[protected] policy. I am sorry to express my annoyance that till date I have not been received the same yet either directly or through my agent from the local LIC authority.

In continuation, I also would like to inform my awful experience in regard to the same. During my tour to Calcutta in March, 2008; in connection with a National Conference on “Abnormal Haemoglobin Disorders in Human”; I received a call from Mr. Dhruti Sundar Jana (Mob. [protected]/[protected], claimed himself as ‘Authorized Financial Consultant, LIC, Port Blair’, informing that my ‘money back’ is already due and that would be sent to me as soon as I would resume duty at Port Blair. It was first week of April, when Mr. Jana personally met me at my office (Anthropological Survey of India) and proposed for re-investment of that ‘money-back’ amount into Market Plus scheme. However, I declined his proposal, as I do usually invest in twice - September and February; through one very particular agent. The same also conveyed to my agent and on inquiry it was known that my cheque has collected by some other agent. Telephonically this was informed to the local authority of LIC, Port Blair but the reply was inappropriate to his position rather skeptical. In May, an unknown boy of an age 20-22 appeared to my DNA-Laboratory, Port Blair carrying a cheque of that value and requested to receive the same. On inquiry, it came to know that boy is an employee of a local civil contractor and pre-instructed to handover the cheque. I readily refused him, as I am not intended to receive cheque from any person except my agent. However, I asked that boy to meet his employer with me immediately. Unfortunately that person (who sent the cheque) not appeared till date, which was inevitable. Simultaneously, the local authority of LIC, Port Blair is keeping mum on the issue. Meanwhile, I understood from various reliable sources that the cheque was collected by many agents(!) and returned undelivered to LIC office on several occasions since May, 2008. In this connection, I also would like to inform that the same also happened with two of my colleagues also, even with many persons at Port Blair.

I always preferred LIC for any possible investment, because of its’ half a century old traditions and reputations in the arena of ‘Life Insurance’. However, our recent experience fails to differentiate between Life Insurance Corporation of India and other Chit Funds. Moreover, the local authority is indifferent towards investors’ security. i have complained against Sri S.S.Prusty, LIC agent, ASKA branch, Berahampur, Orissa that i handed over him pay orders in favour of LIC of India for Money Plus in may favour for Rs. 2, 10.000/- in the month of jan2007 that pay orders he miss utilized and when i asked to return my amount he handed over me one court affidavit in which he accepted his deeds and agreed to return the amount in the month of may 2007. But he did not return the amount till date. i complained several times to all concern of LIC heads and i have aslo sent all the documents one year back. i have also sent a xerox copy in your address. But till date no action is taken against him. i am not only the victim person but so many other persons also complaining against him. if you leave him then he will harm others and your organization. i had received 25% of said amount in aug 2004, now due for another 25% in the month of Aug 2008.

I am holding a Pension Policy No[protected] at your Dist Branch Office Allahabad. The policy has taken from Allhabad and subsequently I had been transferred to Bhopal MP State. The policy matured and the 1st instalment of pension was due on 05.05.2008. After a great persuation both by letter and telephone yesterday I got a cheque dated 11.09.2008 equivalant to the amount of the 25% of the sum assured which I was not asked for that too a local cheque at Allahabad sent to me at Bhopal.Kindly clarify the following:
1. Why commutation amount has been sent to me with out my option,
2.Why it took 4 long months to settle this claim despite of submitting all the documents,
3.What was the logic of sending the local Allhabad cheque to Bhopal? You want me to spent some more amount on clearing charges and wait for another one month for getting the cheque cleared?
4.Why they have not sent me the ineterest on the delayed payment for the period May to September?

    My policy no.[protected] is assign to Union bank of india, kota (Money back), its money back amount was due on feb, 2008 Rs 5000/-, but they had not sent cheque/ any information to union bank/my self, In dec 2009 I went to LIC office kota, then they prepare cheque no.328521 dt 18/12/2009 but still they did not send, again I follow up on 22 feb 2010, they gave me cheque by hand Rs 5000, In this period between feb 2008 to feb 2010 i should get interest but they did not give me. who will be responsible for interest amount, when i will get.

      I have taken a new policy from LIC from an agent of Ahmedabad but had to move with my wife to Gurgaon due to new job. Now it is required to do a medical check and LIC is not able to help me in this regard. No doctor details. My money is off my account. All bogus numbers on the website (try it your self). I am completely pissed by the service but they have my money and I am completey shocked to see LIC of india in such pathetic condition. Can you help me?

      I want to Do Medical claim, so plz solve d my problem
      I have chosen LIC Amulya Jeevan policy for 25 lakhs. Pure term insurance cover for 35 years. When i did my blood medical checkup my fasting blood sugar was 110 which according to the range 70-110 is on the upper limit.

      We got suspicious and then had a recheck up of the complete package. So now the report showed fasting blood sugar at 84, while LDL cholestrol in blood level was 94 instead of 100 (lower level). pH in urine was also lower than normal as suggested.

      Due to this the Underwriter states that either i shall pay 2700 per year extra or the policy will be dissolved. I think these are minor shifts in body which might have taken place since i travel for over a week to North India and had a hectic night before the test. Is there anyway that i can get the poilicy in normal terms and normal premium.
      LIC is not willing to serve Jeeven Ananad. As it is only interested in making big amount and returning a small to insurer.

      It has only [products with high insurance premium and low coverage. only helpful for its agent. Think twice and compare at least once with other insurance company. If others are not given chance than how they will prove that LIC is not best.

          Last week I paid my premium through the www.licindia.com/ web site. After that when I am trying to get my duplicate receipt, I could not get. Though Acrobat Reader version 7.x is installed in my system it showing the empty new window. But it showing my receipt number PR[protected]. Regarding this I want to send the email to [protected]@licindia.com but no reply. So I decided to register the complaint through call center, I used the numbers which is given in the site 28602626 and 28602629 for Chennai both are currently not usable.
          A most reputed company in India is giving services to their customers in this way only. Then how we can trust these type of companies ????.

          yes, the site is not working from last few weeks. i tried a lot but very slow performance @ my office. it will def. will not work with broadband and surely not with dialup.

          at the yearend when people try to pull out investment proofs , this site should be functional but as of now its pathetic...
          The site is not working for past 3 days. First I thought, there is some problem during daytime when server is busy. But now when I am trying from home at 10.30 PM, even home page is not opening. My premium is due this month, I am not sure what to do since Online Payment is not accessible. Is anyone working on the problems in the website ? It's high time they too some corrective actions with respect to online services.
          I am trying to download the premium payment statement for past one week. Even the home page is not opening. It seems that no one from LIC management is looking into this problem. Very pathetic.
          Yes. It is pathetic. It proves that Government Enterprise companies won’t much care about customer services. And nobody would be there to take responsibility for this. I think it is due to old aged people in their computer departments. If it would have been private sector, they would be fired by this time for not their technologies up and running for such a long time.
          The LIC India website is not working, this is ridiculous, even they have not given any notice to the customers, the management is whole and sole responsible for this. Even they have not inform the customers all over India.

I registered a complaint but their is no reply. God know what these people are doing. I think there is no responsible person in LIC for looking these issues or the site is just a dummy for showing other companies that LIC also have a website.
          yes, of course the website is not at all functioning as i have been trying few days to view my enrolled policies when i wanted to check whether any of my premium payment is due this month.           I am moneyback policy holder with policy number[protected] & the premiums is getting deducted from salary. I have received second servival benefit of Rs 15, 000 in March 2008, but I have not yet received first servival benefit of Rs 10, 000 which was suppose to be pay in feb 2004. On enquary @ Raichur LIC branch, were I am employing, I have been told that, my file was not yet received at Raichur on transfer from Bangalore to Raichur. I have corresponderd so many letter to Residency Road Bangalore LIC branch office in this regard, but went in vein. Not only myself but also the concerner officer in Raichur LIC branch also sent E-mail to the Residency road LIC branch on several occations, but my file is yet to be receive @ Raichur LIC branch. It is surprise to notice that, eventhough the communication is made form the concerned officer of the organisation & the responding officer is yet to act.
          I pray to the concern officer to responce atleast for this mail & arrange to send my file from Residency road Bangalore LIC branch to Raichur LIC branch.

          I've been paying all my LIC polisy premiums online since last year. I've not faced even a single problem since then. Just one time, I was able to view the due premium against my policy. At that time I had jest sent a mail on Pune Divission mail ID ([protected]@licindia.com). I received a call on the next day and the problem was solved.

          I don't know how you all are facing these problems. My friends also told me that they are facing some problems while accessing the site. There may be some problem in the network.

          But I agree that the Customer Care Service of LIC is worst.

Once the payment is confirmed, the digitally signed premium receipt is generated and sent to my mail id that is registered with www.licindia.com. You can either use your mail or can use to download from the LIC website to get the premium receipt. Both are working fine, the site is comparatively faster than last year (i.e.[protected]. Good luck for next time.

          If you found you are not being served well upto your satisfaction, you may lodge grivence on LIC website. If your complint not attended to your satisfaction, you may lodge same complient to IRDA Ombudasman
          If you are not happy with LIC services, you may lodge complaint to Grievance Lodging Portal.
          If not satisfied with LIC’s grievance handling, may further lodge to Insurance Ombudsman available on IRDA website.

          I am having two policies in the name of Piyush Kansal –[protected] for quarterly Premium Rs. 1149/- and policy no.:[protected] in the name of my wife Anchal Kansal for quarterly premium of Rs. 1141/-.



          In the year 2007 November 26, I had paid my premium through axis bank cheque into axis bank Gurgaon (HR) branch at Seco-29, Sctror-25, Gurgaon for Rs. 2290/-, but on 23.01.2009 LIC has reversed my premium by saying my cheque was bounced from bank, immediately without any delay I paid my both the premium against through axis bank net banking with a fine of Rs. 15/- each as late payment charges to LIC.



          After this payment I contacted my branch to ask why my cheque returned unpaid, but they informed me that that cheque was paid well on time. I again contact my branch -11B as well telephone support and write letter to LIC PCMC cell and branch to return my excess payment to me with interest, but my own branch fail to get any reply from their systems of operations.



          After a very long conversation with my bank and LIC offices, on 07.05.2008, I got one mail through LIC office 11B, from CBK1, (Premium collecting branch through net or bank payments) that they are having excess payment against both of my policies,



          But till date i.e. 11.03.2009, I am not able to get my premium/ amount bank in the form of cheque or direct credit in to my policies. I am paying my premium to LIC with a faith that I will get my amount whenever I actually required that same for me or my family.



          LIC Branch office 11B is not listening anything and the need amount in the form of cheque and CBK! And CRM branch telling the are not able to update my policy at their end, and I am the sufferer.



          If this kind of an insurance office of the Government Company deals with customers who can we believe that after me my family get secured through my Life Insurance Policies.

          I started paying yearly premium since 26/08/2003 till 26/08/2008.The amount paid Rs.129131.
          ie.The TOTAL Amount paid (129131x6) = 774786.00.

          a Discharge form to be filled dated 11/06/2009 said that the policy is due for payment of SURVIVAL
          BENIFIT on 26/08/2009.
          The details given in that showed only Rs.605500.00.Where as when i contacted their office informed that
          payment due is Rs.721545 and i paid Rs.774786.00.There was NO Claim or deduction so far.

          I had send mail to Kottayam Divisional Manager and copy to Manager Chaganachery in due course.
          The Div.Manager replies as the case is of Chaganachery and will be settled by them.
          I send repeated mails to Chaganachery, so far no response.
          LIC is a big organisation and how come they do such VERY High amount can deduct from the total
          amount.ie.Rs.169, 224.00.
          Pl. do the needful to get my maximum benifit and reissue the dispatch form.

          I have taken above mentioned Jeevan Surabhi policy from your firm and due to some reason i was unable to pay the further premium and i surrendered the policy after completeing 4 1/2 years and send to kochi ernakulam address. I recieved a letter from your firm mentioning the " if you hold the policy for further three months and then send the original copy to this office you will get a good amount". I did it and send the original along with covering letter to your office at kochi, kerala address. But after one and half year i still waiting for payment but i did not got neither any letter nor check or demand from your firm against surrendering the above mentioned policy.

            I am serving in CRPF as Sub-Inspector and purchased a Money Back Policy No.[protected]Agent Code[protected]A DO code 0328976) during my stay at Ranchi(Bihar), this was transerred by me at my Home Distt. Sultanpur(UP) during 2000-01. Second money back of said policy was due during March 2007 & Rs 7500/- on account of money back is required to be paid myself, whereas only Rs 6789/- paid by the LIC vide cheq No. 0003932 dated 18.3.07 and in details it is mentioned that Rs 711/- have been deducted from my above due amount as a pending premium of 12/06. Whereas the said premium (i.e. 12/06) has already been paid by me vide receipt No. 1010035 dated 10/3/07 at Rati Ram Park Nazafgarh New Delhi.

            On the above matter and adjustment of double paid premium, we have meet three times with the branch Manager Sultanpur and his administrative office during March to April 2007 and requested with them the excess paid premium amount as mentioned above may be adjusted against the pending premium of said policy of March 2007 & they have verbally assured me that many other similar type of cases are lying pending in their office and it may be settled by end of April 2007. Despite of my repeated requests and also my written applications dated 24/4/07, 12/9/07 & 30/11/07 neither any action have been taken by them nor any reply sent to me till date. To avoid surrender of my policy i have paid premium of March 2007 vide receipt No.0197180 dated 8/9/07 at Rati Ram Park Branch Nazafgarh New Delhi with late fee of Rs 28/-. Due to pending of adjustment i unable to deposit my premium of 6/07 to 12/07.

            Request necessary direction may be issue to concerned that the double paid premium of 12/06 may be adjusted against my due premium of 6/07, so that i can able to continued my said policy.

            Kindly arrange to refund the amount or adjust the amount against premium due on 19 04 2009 under intimation to me.
            The receipt of double payment by LIC has been confirmed through LIC IVRS service please.

              I totally agree that the Vastrapur Branch staff is very carefree for services. I have requested for transaction passwrod in November 2009 and to this day I have not received. The operation Manager is never responding to e-mail. It seems customers are vauleless asset. I came across this just while brwosing internet for contact number of the branch.

                As per your letter ref no: FOB/PHS Dtd. 19/07/2007, from Foreign Operations Branch- Santacruz- Mumbai, above policy suppose to be transfered to Chennai Branch. (Branch-15, United India colony, Kodambakkam-Chennai.
                Inspite of my repeated calls and several personal visits, all of your staffs are SLEEPING without taking any action.
                Already my due date is over : 28/10/2007

                If the problem is not sorted out within 3 days time, I will take legal action against LIC and ask for damage.

                  1 Mr. Chauhan had inquired my personal & financial details

                  I & Mr. Yogender left his residence & the mentioned documents were submitted to him by early third week of August -07. This can be confirmed as the cheque that was given

                  By me was debited from my account on 29/08/07.

                  I did not have any further conversation with Mr. Chauhan for almost 10 days. I had tried to call him up on 4-5 occasion to check the status of my loan. He did not answer my call. I then asked my wife to visit his residence to check the status of Loan. He then informed my wife that the loan has been approved. This was around 18 of September 07.

                  Point to note; He did not handover the approval letter to my wife neither he had sent the same by post / courier.



                  He then contacted me around 23rd of September 07 to inform the approval status also saying that he had informed the same to my wife a couple of days earlier. I had acknowledged the same. I inquired with him on the time that would require for the disbursement & he indicated it would take 2-3 days maximum but I should keep one or two days to be safe. I agree that I should have done this with him then & there I was not able to do so as my daughter was suffering from Typhoid. The medical report

                  & doctor’s advice may be submitted on demand. The same was informed to Mr. Chauhan also. He said not to worry & I should take care of my daughter.



                  I was pretty pleased with his gesture at this point. I then asked him on 29th October’07 for the documents & he said he would need the receipts of payments made to Ardee infrastructures & a copy of NOC from their office. The seller was residing in UK hence it took me some time to procure the receipts from them & the same was submitted to him directly by Mr. Yogender at his office. I asked Mr. Chauhan on 2nd morning for any other documents than he said he would let me know. I here requested him to do it on the same day. He then visited with some other forms to my residence. He gave me an ECS form to be filled & verified by the bank & asked for a cheque of Rs.10112/- in favor of LIC housing finance limited towards processing fee. He insisted on cash but I denied the same. He hereby explained me that he would get a waiver for me for the balance amount.

                  He also took an application from me for the same which is duly signed by me & my wife.



                  This entire process was completed on 7th morning itself this may be verified from the cheque that was issued in favor of LIC housing Finance limited. I had checked with him then on 9th for the loan disbursement status on 9th & he said I would receive a cheque in a day or two. I had requested him to get the same latest by Thursday as I had to travel on Friday to Mumbai for some official work. He said not to worry. He than called me up on Wednesday around 11 am to check the loan status than he said that the regional manager is not available & the cheque might get delayed. He said if I want to hurry up than I need to pay the processing fee as mentioned in my approval letter.

                  He then again called me up to inform around at 4pm that the cheque can only be delivered on Friday.

                  He said that would be absolutely fine with him & he will ask LIC to send their representative with the cheque. I kept on calling him through the afternoon till 2 pm to know the status. He called up at 4 pm saying that he needs other letter declaring that the possession amount would be cleared by the seller before transferring the properties & he needed it immediately. I was at that moment in my office & asked him to get the document collected. He expressed his inability. I requested him for a fax number & then made an effort to send the same. The letter was finally sent him through mail & faxes both. I then called him around 7 pm for the status of loan he then said that he would require a guarantor for the same. I lost my cool here & said him that this is completely unacceptable.



                  He then expressed his inability to help me with the disbursement unless I provide a guarantor. I than spoke to Mr. Yogender regarding the same, he was kind enough to become a guarantor. Mr. Chauhan than reached Yogender’s house to complete guarantee formalities & the same were completed on 11Th night around 10pm. Mr. Chauhan after this convinced us (Mr. Yogender on the same day & I on Next day morning) that the disbursement would be done on 12th afternoon between 12.00 to 1.30 pm.

                  I would like to bring it your notice that the cheque was not delivered till 3pm after a minute to minute follow up with Mr. Chauhan.The seller left the Ardee office after 3pm informing us that they will not sell the property to us & would not return the advance as per the agreement.

                  Critical Issue & points

                  1 Did I had any problem in my financial credibility for such loan

                  2 Why should I suffer losses because of negligence from your representative’s end?

                  3 I will have to pay extra 2-3 Lakhs for a similar property

                  4 I would request that are your agent not suppose to be penalized for such failure

                  5 I would like to understand that if an EMI cheque or ECS is turned back you charge couple of penalty

                  6 Who is responsible for my losses????????????????

                  I want you to get me the property in the rates quoted in agreement.

                  Dear sir,
                  It has been declared by LIC HOUSING FINANCE( NALA SOPARA) that my EMI cheque for month of April was bounced or my bank A/C no-8493 (corporation bank) was closed.
                  After that, i personally went to Corporation Bank and verified the details. Still my A/C have sufficient amount.
                  Even Bank had declared RBI program, that RBI has not accepted LIC forwarded detail, on 13 th April, 2009.
                  RBI program shows with only my name, EMI amount and RBI sequence no.([protected]) but does not shows bank A/C NO. A/C NO shows blank.

                  Hence Bank clearly told me that LIC person does not forward correct A/C NO or information to RBI.

                  Same matter i had Explane to LIC housing Person( MR.Harshad jain).But he was not accepting same. and told me that, this problem was created from your bank only.
                  and LIC HOUSING GAVE ME FINE OF RS.418
                  I request to RBI, Please check from your side detail and clear me that from whose mistake i have to sufer this fine.

                  Dear Sir,
                  This is to bring to your kind notifice that agents of LICHFL are main contributors for the projection of bad picture on LICHFL.
                  This is based on my experience with one of your agents in chennai(Mr.Navin kumar, based out of anna nagar east branch).I have initiated the loan process sometimes in february and its only towards the end of march that i got confirmation for loan approval.
                  Loan sancation letter had mistakes with respect my name and co applicant's name.
                  Every time i tried to contact the agent, he will not pick up the call or atleast he would not call back at a later point.
                  Very difficult to get in touch with agent for any clarification.
                  Also the information given by agent during submitting application seems to be misleading. Agent stated that there will not be any preclosure charges for the part payment after 6 months from the date of Loan disbursement.Where as it has been found that there are no such offers with regard to preclosure.
                  Also i came to know that loan amount would be 85% of the total property value where as the agent stated that as per the latest RBI guidelines, it has been revised to provide only 80% of the total property value.
                  Because of the delay on the part of agent towards processing home loan, fixed interest which was 9.95% in the month of february has been revised to 10.15% during loan approval in the month of march.
                  Well overall i can say that LICHFL's image is taking a very high beating due to this kind of most inefficient and unethical agents.These agents does not have minimum ethics to call back customer to provide the status.
                  I have made several calls and my telephone bill has gone up for making many calls to get status.
                  guys does it help to write over here...does anyone take any action against these people
