Dear Sir,

We are members of 33A, Riverwood Park, Atharva CHS, Khidkali, Kalyan-Shil Road.

Our buildings common electiricity supply is under dispute for over last two years. Our Ex- Secretary Mr. Ganesh M. Pawar, has mis-used the powers and not paid the Common Electricity Bills to MSEDCL since inception 2005, though he used to collect the regular maintenance from members. We members trusted this culprit and never investigated the fact. As he used to always boost himself by saying, he is having good contacts in MSEDCL service staff in khidkali. Because of this he used to manage them, without paying the electricity bill. The MSEDCL never disconnected the supply upto 2008. post which the disconnection started frequently by MSEDCL, but then too this used to be restored within a day or two on his instruction as understood.

Now we have paid the electricity bill and regularised for 3 phase meter, but the 1phase meter is pending, and the connection is disconnected by MSEDCL. But Mr. Ganesh Pawar is restoring the connection without informing/knowledge of MSEDCL service staff/ Members of Society.

Request concerned official to look into the same on priority. We have requested the MSEDCL staff to disconnect the Meter itself so such kind of theft wont happen.

    We are facing lots of problem because of sudden power failure in aundh gaon. Some time it goes for more than 24 hours. On 12 July -2010 it was for more then four hours in night. In the month of june once it was for 2 days continuously. And if we call at the branch the phone is always busy.

      HI,

      I m Nawaz kazi, I work as a senior Techniacal Specialis in one of the renowned company in mumbai. I stay at mumbra Amrutnagar. Its like been hell staying in mumbra due to electricity problem in mumbra . Even after rain loadshading is for 8 hours i.e morning 6am to 10.30 am and 2.25 pm to 6.30 pm. Beyond this also there is frequently power cutt even after the load shading.

      I have just gone through many forums on these website itself regarding power cut for mumbra and kausa loation. But still hoping for the best

        Outragious frequent power cuts in my locality.

        Pls see the attached picture where I have recorded the daily power cut status.

        These recordings are only for 3 days, this is a everyday business in my locality.

        MSEB after charging exoritant averaged electricity bills, provides sub standard services. To whom can a compliant be made about this sub-standard service?

        After paying heavy ecectricity bills do the consumers have the right to quality service or not?

          Team,

          Resident of Mumbra is facing tremendous problem because of electric power cuts or power transformer failure in the various part of city. This is directly effecting the daily life, development of kids, schools, colleges and business in the city. We fail to understand the very good reason for the MSEB to have power cuts of more than 8-10 hrs on regular basis and at times they have power cuts for entire day.

          Is this the 20th century we are living in? Are there no good metrics or measurement system in place in department to measure and improve the MSEB service in the area. We understand there might be few key pain areas MSEB must have to address in city, but why can't the MSEB work out alternatives and regularize the service?

          Are there any senior management team looking in this ?

          Please help and let people be a good samaritan and have us make India a proud country to live in.

            myself navaneetham.jeyepaul n im working for 10000p.m salary and i used live in 1 hall and kitchen room i do have very less appliances at my home but my problem is my electricity bill which in december 09 was aroundly 400p.m then it increased to 600 then in jan 09 it was 900 then in feb it was 1100 then 1200 in march then 1400 in april then in may it reached to 1600 and now in june 2010 it is 2200.rs for 1 hall and kitchen room im so afraid to their limit....
            so please help me out in this case plese take action against MSEB !
            i will b gratefull for any assist.

              The bill generated shows an excess use of almost 600-700 units...and the amount is Rs 5526/- which is not possible, whereas our actual consumption is just 190 units ...the picture on the bill is not clear..when approached the MSEB office, no one is bothered to look into the matter, and this is happening repeatedly..
              where can i find a permanent solution to this problem?
              I approached the consumer court. but the process is too lengthy to follow with doubtful results...

                in our Society all member;s Electricity Meter (MSEB) changed without any intimation by MSEB , and when they sent us next months electricity bill in that they have entered approx Units o[censored]nbillled units of old Electricity meter which shows 125 unites cosumed for 5 days. if we consider maximum 12 units per day than it should be 60 unites instead of that they sent 125 units .

                coz of that i am charged by MSEB access bill of Rs.approx 1000.00

                When we complaint for the same, they replied that our meter was faulty. which is wrong reason.

                  nently residng in Mumbai and occasionally used my said Pune flat.Since last few months I have noticed that my electricity bill comes in excess inspite of not using my said flat.Due to this reason I had switched off my main switch then also found that the meter was running.My complaint letter was not accepted by the board office at Shastri Nagar Pune for finding out the fault.I called my society electrician to look into the matter but he neglected to do so till date.So I request u to kindly look into this matter at the earliest,since I am paying heavy amount of my electricity bill without using my flat .kindly guide me in this matter.                     Single phase overhead lines going very close above my house no.117 ,at Nanos, Tal. Sawantwadi ,Dist. Sindhudurha. MSEB activities of this area is under control of Vengurla/ Shiroda division. There is very high risk of accident/injury because of this overhead lines.. There is no need of additional material for changing the location of poles. All ready written application given to MSEB shiroda division to change the poles location at appropriate point. But no positive response from MSEB shiroda division. Pl. do the needful.

                      Dear Sir,
                      I have already complained around 10 times to MSEB(vashi) stating that there has been severe meter tampering at the following address- 3/8 Chittod Garh CHS sector 16 A, plot 22 vashi new bombay 400703.
                      If someone receives a bill of Rs.160 in the month of May thats peak summer temperatures then Mseb is just too foolish to do so. Yes the above address gets a bill of not less than Rs.200p.m. average as their electric charges while others in same locality get bill of Rs.1,500p.m. this is height of foolishness and stupidity to do so but who cares.
                      So i[censored] got some responsibility or watever so go on above address and check their shamelessness to tamper the meter and yea they have so called political contacts with big people who are good for nothing so stop reading now and go ahead n enforce penalty on these stupid people who dare to tamper meters. Get up and u would know that they got a wide range of electronic appliances which shoot up the meter like hell so get up and do something.

                        Big Trauma.

                        I've been staying in Militry Road / Marol Maroshi / Andheri East since last 6 months. And I repent that at least 2-3 times in a week because of WORST service of MAHADISCOM. Me and my wife have seen regular power cuts happening in few buildings; which seemed like a non declared load shedding. When power goes of from few surrounding building, I've seen ample amount of light being wasted in slums at backside of our building.

                        But yesterday a BIG PROBLEM! happened that turned my mind up n down. I'm full of anger now. Yesterday, electricity/power was cut since last night almost from midnight till today 3pm for 15hours (Dt. May 2010). When I called offices at following numbers the response was terribly rubbish. According to someone who responded on phone from MAHADISCOM office, "People doesn't come on work till 11am sir. You will have to wait till them come and then our men will come to solve your problem."

                        Me n my wife couldn't sleep for whole night; a big trauma. Since morning I've been calling MAHADISCOM complaint numbers (listed below); but there is no humbleness and No Responsibilty from them.

                        i am staying in bhayapada boisar (W) in saravali area i not have a light for 2 days only on my home i have given complaint in boisar office we are following for two days but till today they had not come to repair they are not looking towards so plz help regarding the service they are not looking towards matter.

                        MAHADISCOM is just one big pain. It is the worst thing I have ever seen.

                        They cut the power for entire night. Btw I am staying in Dombivli (E). It is this uncaring and inhuman attitude of MSEDC and KDMC that life of people in this area is a living hell. No proper road, frequent power cuts not to ask about hygiene. And we are getting this treatement after paying for all services on time.

                          MSEB/Roads — Long hours of power cut, pathetic condition of roads

                          I reside at Mumbra. The powercut hours are more than the expected timings. It is almost 9+ hours.
                          The condition of roads between mumbra station and retibunder is pathetic. kindly bring such issues to the notice of some person who can sort out such problems.

                          There has been Power Cutt off, for almost 10 hrs daily since past 3 days, Where in one phase of the line is shut, no body respond to the call when dialed on the given Nos on the Bill, and neithe rany action is being taken as to why this phase is always shut down for so long hours. The location is Vasai Road (E) Gokhivare location.

                          Hope for a positive action in this matter.
                          This is my second complaint against MSEB. i think why u r provide electricity to Diva beacause from last years i have staying in Diva but never see in full day MECB provide full voltage electricity.

                            Most of the property owners who provide their property on rent (Apt, Flat, Bungalow etc.) charge more from their tennants on monthly MSEB Electricity Bill. The rates charged by this owners start from the range of Rs.5- Rs.8/- depending upon the locality & Area where you stay. When the tenants have a sub-meter allocated for their share of accomodation, why they need to pay more than the MSEB listed rate on the Electricity Bill. Requesting MSEB take action against these culprits.

                            sir ji mere ghar ka bijli ka bill nov.09 ka jo unit jala hai matra 36 jo mpeb ne muzhe diya hai 108 unit pichle kuch mah me mene apne pass me kisi kirayedar ko bijli de rakhi thi jis karan muzhe adhik bill aya karta tha jo ki meine paye bhi time se kar deta tha bir mere pass me se kirayedar makan khali kar gaya aur maine apni bijli jo ki use de rakhi thi kat di aaj mere ghar ka bijli upoyug kam ho raha hai to mpeb ka kahana hai etna kam upoyug kese ho gaya me yah jahta ho ki meri es samsya ka samadhan ho.

                              Now a days MSEDCL has started "Emergency load sheding" at night from 11.00pm to 1.00 am and when we call them to ask about it, they say that their superiors have instructed not to pick up such calls.

                              on 19.05.10 entire night we did not had power supply and even next day they have not even bothered to check what has happen.

                              When we try calling vasai or virar msedc office they donot pick up any phone calls.

                              We need to have some urgent solution for this lack of response/ careless repsonse of MSEDC officers.

                              They need to understand their responsiblity they cannot just sit on chair without responding to the consumers.

                              Forget about the emergency load shedding, some areas are facing the artificial created break in power supply and it seems it is because of some vested interest.
                              In manvelpada, it has become a routine that when the current comes at 8.30 pm after load shedding, the light of one phase or the other either will not come or will go off at 8.45 or 9.00 pm & will come after 45 or 60 minutes.
                              If I Call they say that the cable is faulty.Agreed they are humans and can't predict the fault.
                              But if the same problem is occuring not for days or weeks, it is happening for months and if you argue they say go & complain to Mr. Choudhry who is the head of virar disn.
                              Think about children who have morning school & have to do revisions & homework & sleep early to get up early, they are not able to plan their reading schedule coz o[censored]ncertainity of power failure.
                              Hope some higher authority may look into it.
                              Or I suggest some citizens to come together on a particular day & meet the higher authority to understand & find some suitable solution to the problem.

                                We are normal middle class people. I am NRI and My wife and my small kid is staying at home in evershine city vasai rd east. we are really very fed up of the load shadding which is happening in vasai road specially in evershine city. the way they are disconnecting the electricity is very harrassing. some times we feel like we not staying in Mumbai, we feel like we are staying at some island where we dont have enough power supply. and in the end of the month they charge a same bill which is been consumed in whole thirty days. Please stop cheating us. Please take the nesessary action against this.

                                I have a farm and house in Nane village near Kamshet which we use for Organic farming and training on environment through our NGO Madhyam. I go there to stay and carry out my work. However the electricity problem does not allow me to work at all. Last week I stayed there for 5 days so do my work and the electricity came only for an hour or maximum two hours and that too so low that the bulbs kept flickering and I had to manage with my inverter which was not sufficient for my work as it gave me only lights. The 5th day even the batteries of the inverter went low because there was no electricity to charge the same. As a result I had to return to Pune leaving all work.

                                How do you expect us to do some quality work staying in village if you are not able to provide the bare minimum requirement?
                                I stay in Pimple Gurav, the electricity is cut-off on a regular basis asd for hours.
                                After we call the technical helpdesk, they keep the phone on side and do not answer any calls. They speak to the people in a rude manner. Please take some strict action in this area. We are suffering a lot.

                                i living in Navi mumbai at Targhar village, i am very frustrated with our daily load shading and power cut, since month they cut our power more than 12.00 hrs. but not reduce the monthly bill. here i am complaining against MSEB cause not my village they power cut but near my 4-5 villages. many time we complain in mseb office but they not given us right step against it.

                                  This is to bring your notice that in Virar (W) we are facing a lot of problems in the name of load shedding from MSEB. Every day for at least 9 to 10 hours there is insufficient supply of electricity and this is been happening from past 8 to 9 months.

                                  Almost every day at night around 11.00 PM the electricity goes and when we call (Mobile No. [protected] & Land line No.[protected] we are informed that it's because of Load shedding and they bang the phone and when we try calling them after an hour they keep the phone busy or don't answer the calls and this one hour extend almost 8 to 9 hours without electricity on a day again same things happens in the day around 2.00 pm so if we calculate we don't have electricity for almost 11 to 12 hours in a day....


                                  Earlier load shedding use to happen only on Fridays and that to for only 3 to 4 hours but now this is change to 72 to 80 hours in a week so living in virar hs become impossible due to this ridiculus behavior of MSEB....

                                  Kindly look in to this & provide a solution

                                  Hope you will look into this and help us to stay happily

                                    Hello MSEB authorities !!

                                    We are living in KOparkhairne , Navi Mumbai and We have been regularly paying MSEB electricity bills over the counter only, however to save time we have tried to pay bill online(http://billing.mahadiscom.in/) and last month[protected] we made an online payment of Rs 440 /-, against which We have the receipt.Now The current month May 2010 , we received a bill of Rs 820/- which very much seems like the double amount for both April and May. We also tried to enquire over the counter and were left with an answer , 'DO NOT PAY BILL ONLINE'. Now the question is, is this website not governed by the Municiple corporation. Who are responsible for such a mistake? How can I get my money back? and so on. Is it the only way to fight with a corruption like this? Why should the consumers have to suffer and for how long? How long do we have to put complaints on the website and waiting for some aid? Merely putting the complaints on the website , does it really make some sense? the Call Centre Toll Free No. [protected] (For Muncipal Corporation Area Only) is not functional. The web site mentions,

                                    Is there some responsible authority, who will look into this? My consumer no is Consumer No:[protected]. AUTHORITIES please HELP!!

                                    Your complaint is right.I registered for online payment, but it is a show only on website.nothing works!I am getting the bill on SMS for previous month and not the current one! If yoyu are doing e-mail to the above said e-mail id, you will get the bounced e-mail back! this is the stroy/pratap of MSEB's payment tricks that the MSEB made for Public!

                                    MSEB — Billing Site Not working

                                    The MSEB site http://billing.mahadiscom.in/ has not been functiong since last month. Can anybody tell me why??
                                    Most of the time the website is always down...i believe everyone will agree with me...including the corrupt non working mseb employees.who only work for bribe...you are real pakis.
                                    Our govt employees work for pakistan or money or bribe one and the same.
                                    our corrupt govt employees should be send to border. i believe each and every beer belly should be send.jai maharashtra.

                                    Yes i am facing such issue, for paying online MSEB bill.
                                    This site was down in last month for week http://billing.mahadiscom.in/.
                                    After site is up i go to this site for paying bill, it is showing me only my bill, there is no option to pay my bill, for this i send mail to MSEB, on given email address, they told me that your bill paying date is gone thats why that option is disabled.
                                    Now i got new MSEB bill for last month, still it is showing me same thing,

We have been regularly paying MSEB bill.We are not use Geezer, Iron, Freeze, Microwave, and other heavy voltage Electrical item.Last 6 month our bill below Rs.200/-.but current bill dec 2010, we received a bill of Rs.750/- which very much seems like the Tripper amount for both April, May & June.                                     I Agree. I am Consumer No.[protected] and billing unit No 4745. For the last 4 days I am attemting to pay the latest bill. Bill is shown but there is no link to the payment site. Panicker, 21 May 2012. Last date is 23May!
                                    MSEB website is totally [censored]ed, i dont know why they have opened this maybe they wanted to waist time of people and they are enjoying it.
                                    as all the others government works this one is also no use and [censored]ed up
