1. On 27 December 2012, we had booked 3 tickets to changdigarh via delhi from bangalore.
2. On reaching delhi they announced that the flight has cancelled and you need to make your own arrangement for going to chandigarh.In zero visbility and cold temeprature we reached in the night at 1.
3. To be on the safer side i called make my trip cutomer support for intialling the refund. Customer support asked me to give the phone to the jetkonnect attendent available there to confirm that the flight has cancelled.
4. Jet konnect attendent told that they cannot put any stamp for reimbursement as the flight was booked from make my trip.
5. I asked customer care executive if re quires anything in writing or stamp that flight has cancelled, He said no it is not required and the cancellation is in progress and we will get money in two weeks.
6. From 27 December 2012 till now we are chasing Make my trip for giving the money back and they have been saying they will reimburse and then they cancell the refund as they are saying they cannot get the status from jet konnect that the flight got cancelled.

MakeMyTrip — money not refunded after cancellation

there were flight tickets booked thorough makemytrip on indigo airlines in jan-09 for flights in feb-09.due to personal problems the ticket was cancelled at the airport counter.but as checked with indigo staff the amount 1550/- has to be returned by make mytrip.
severals mails and calls have been mailed but no response.
I am also a highly dissatisfied makemytrip customer, I had to cancel too an makemytrip besides the flight booking charges charged my card a cancellation fee too and claim that they will be refunding it which has not happened after n number of calls and n number of emails. Only bogus "Namaste" emails rendering no information, now lately a a customer support kavita verma has demanded my banking information like routing number and swift code and account number to make the refund and this seems like a not to do thing to me, please if anyone else has been furnishing their banking info to these people share their experiences so I may know if its ok to give them banking info because so far i doubt this as necessary .

Make My Trip — not refunded money

I had booked a flight ticket using netbanking and cancelled it.Even after 18 days i am not getting my money back.if i call they will tell they have refunded it.even i have sent them my bank statement.still they are not taking any action.please check to it and and take necessary action
my bookimg ID is NF[protected] i got a mail on 31st of Aug tat money is refunded but HDFC bank people r telling they r not able to see any such transaction that refund reference ID is IN1008R0097517
Please help us in getting the money back

Refund Amount still not credited its been more then 40 days now

I have cancelled my Flight Booking on the 12th of Feb 15 and still my money has not been refunded. My booking Id is NF[protected].. I have called them many times but they only promise to call back which they never do.

    HI Guys

    I booked my honeymoon vacation via make my trip .com .they promised me to give payback point when i put my pay back card number while paying.
    Nut as on date i have not recived any payback point.I also logged a complaint to there website but these guys dont even to bother to reply.
    Please dont book any tour from them

    I had baught dish tv connection in January and since then I am making calls to the customer care for the installation of the set top box.Everytime I call them they give me a new complaint no but till date no service has been provided by them.Its over five months.Dish has the worst customer service I believe.

      My cancellation reference no is IN1305R5S33244. I didnt get the refund till today. I contacted my bank (Federal bank) for this issue.They had informed me that makemytrip.com hasn't confirmed this refund transaction, despite the fact that the bank's technical team sending a mail to makemytrip.Makemytrip is utter waste, please don't deal with them.

        Hi,

        This is to inform you that I had booked tickets on makemytrip for Chennai to port Blair return trip for 7 people (on kingfisher airlines) on 30th September 2012. The flight was cancelled by kingfisher airlines. Hence the ticket was cancelled on the advice of makemytrip representative. The amount of the ticket paid by me was Rs. 92,376. I have called makemytrip several times and have also sent them emails asking about my refund. They mentioned that they are not responsible for the refund and I need to contact the airline (Kingfisher). They provided me some number but that number is not valid. I have sent them repeated emails but no response. On their website too the refund status is shown as " there is no refund due for this booking"

        Since I have done booking on makemytrip, they should get me back my money of 92376 which is a big money from me.

        I sincerely urge teh authorities to look in to my complain and hoping for an action at the earliest.

        Make My Trip — refund of cancelled ticket not received

        i booked a flight ticket on 16sept09 from delhi to chennai through make my trip.com.i cancelled my ticket FLT[protected] on 1 oct 2009.it was said from their side that refund would reflect on my account in next 7 business days but so far ten(40)days have passed and i am yet to receive my refund.
        My Boss Had booked a flight ticket on 3 Aug 09 from delhi to Mumbai through make my trip.com.it Had cancelled by him ticket FLT[protected] on 3 Aug 2009.it was said from their side that refund would reflect on Boss Credit Card which had payment made in next 7 business days but so far 3 Month passed and i am yet to not receive my refund.

        Make My Trip — Regarding refund of cancelled ticket

        Couple of days I posted the below query :

        This is regarding my bus ticket booked through Makemytrip.com,on 13/04/10, booking ID is BUS[protected].I cancelled this ticket on 13th of april itself, that is before 24 hrs of journey (journey date 14th of April,10) & supposed to get a refund of Rs. 825. As I was told, it should be done within 7 days but it still not refunded by them. Whenever I call to their customer service, I get the same reply that wait for 48 hours.I've got the same reply for 4 times.Whenever I drop a mail to them, I never get any response.

        Please mark my words.They are the biggest frauds. The latest excuse given by them was that there was some problem from vendor side.Earlier they said that there is some technical glitch. They will never refund your money if you cancel the ticket. Why should I bother about the vendor problem, if I paid the money to you. While deducting the payment, there was no problem at all.

        If anyone from MMT is looking at it.....just respond......what is the meaning of 7 days for you...& why the money is not yet refunded.

        The money is not yet credited to my account. If anyone from MMT is looking at it, please let me know the transaction reference no. through which you sent the refund back to my HDFC credit card account. I still don't trust that you'll refund my money. The ticket was cancelled on 13th & today it's 4th of May. I think 7 days are over now in as per MMT standards.

        I am LANGTUK KRO booked one flight ticket vide Make My Trip ID no FLT[protected] from MUMBAI to KOLKATA on 27th May,2010 for the departure date on 28th May,2010 in JETLITE FLIGHT No S-2 703.         Make My Trip — Cancellation fee non refund

        I have booked flight tickets with make my trip vide booking ID. no. FLT[protected] for onward and return journey for four adults out of which one ticket was cancelled by me on 02.06.2010. The company refund amount as per rules is Rs.5316/- out of which Rs.2634/- has been credited to my credit card account. When I noticed this mistake I made a complain to make my trip on 13.07.2010 and the company when contacted by me over phone informed me that they have credited the shortfall amount of Rs.2682/- to my card account on 19.07.2010. I have received my card statement generated on 20.07.2010 and the credit does not find a place in the statement.

        Makemytrip.com — Refund not Received

        This is with reference to my booking ID :FLINT[protected]. I wish to inform that had booked two return tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi for 9th August and 12th August, in the name of Rajni Kant Gupta and Kakul Gupta.

        These tickets were booked for my parents and today when they arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Airport to board the Langkawi flight on Air Asia, they were informed that both there tickets have been cancelled. My parents had to wait at the airport for 4 hours and book the next available flight at a very high cost.

        My communication with your customer care department has revealed that due to an error from your end, the payments of the these tickets didn't reach Air Asia due to which these tickets got cancelled. Payments from my end were clear and you had received payments for the tickets from my end almost 15 days back. My parents not only had to wait at the airport , but also get hassled by the cancellation of the flight. A pre paid taxi was booked for them at the Langkawi airport to take them to the hotel.

        I wish to know when the payment was received from my end 15 days back and my card was charged and I was issued a confirmed e-ticket from your end, why did my parents had to go through all this hassle. Its a complete error on your companies part and I wish to get properly compensated for the same.

        I wish to be paid the difference in the fare which I my parents paid for the Kuala Lumpur Langkawi flight and also the return tickets should be confirmed for 12th August, the same should be faxed at their hotel in Langkawi and also be compensated for the loss of hours, the cab fare and also the hassle they had to go through when they were on a vacation.
        On several occasions I have written to the to the customer care department of makymytrip.com and even after their constant assurance that this matter will be sorted nothing has been done


        This is a very serious issue and shows the poor quality of service which is offered at your end. I had pre-booked everything for my parents so that it is a hassle free vacation for them but I'm highly frustrated with the events of today. Kindly look into this matter with urgency as this is serious breach of your service commitment.

        Makemytrip.com — Cancellation refund

        I had booked air ticked from delhi to jammu on 25.5.2011 through net banking with booking id reference no. NF[protected] but the above was cancelled though net banking. The makemytrip has confirmed through mail that your refund amont of Rs. 4033/- has been proceed on 7.6.2011 under UTR no. P[protected]. I have again contact in customer care and told him the above issue. they have told me that you may contact your bank branch and verified the above refund. I have visited SBI bank told the above matter. They have checked and told me that the refund amount has not been reflected in your account and nothing is pending in our record. they have also issued a certificte wherein mentioned that the above amount has not credited in his account. I have again contact in customer care and explained the above discussions. They have again told me that you may give us another bank details. I have given the another bank details but after lapse of 2 and half months the result is still as before stand.

        You are requested kindly solve the my above issue and register my complaint against Makemytrip.com. I have all mails records of my requests since june,2011

        I hereby complaining that I could not get the complete services that are provided by the idea cellular network for the offer recharge value of Rs:149 which I had done on 18.01.2012 to the number [protected]. The same problem had occured when I had done the same reharge last month.
        Although it is an offer recharge still the balance of my account is getting deduced for the usage. Valid responses and actions are not yet provided by the customer care of idea network.

        MakeMyTrip — Money refund has not been done for the cancellation of ticket

        I have booked a flight for my uncle on 7th May 2012 using my ICICI credit card. I have cancelled the ticket on the same date due to personal reasons on the same day (7th May 2012). I got a confirmation of the cancellation (attached is the cancellation confirmation).
        After 14 days, on 22nd May, I called Makemytrip customer care and raised my concern (with ticket IN1205r0063774) that refund has not been credited to my account.They told me that it will be completed with in 72 hrs. I called customer care again on 25th May 2012 and spoke to customer care and they told me that the request has been escalated on 24th and it will be completed by 28th May afternoon. I again called customer care today (28th May 2012) and spoke to customer care regarding the same issue. They are asking me to wait for 3 more days to get a solution. I am really upset by the Makemy trip service. Please help me.

        I have canceled my flight on 26th of August 2020 and haven't heard about the refund yet. It is Jan 2021, yesterday I receive a notification saying the amount has been credited to my cash on the app. When I opted to transfer it to my bank account, in the app it shows that the refund has been credited but it did not get reflected in my bank account. None of the customer care contact numbers work either. What am I supposed to do.

          I booked a hotel room at Lake View Inn Shillong on 2nd June through the website of Make my trip dot com and made full payment for a day's stay.
          We were a family of four including two children.
          Originally my son was not to join us and therefore I had booked only one room in the same hotel during end May.
          On reporting to the hotel on 2nd June at 5.30pm I was informed that they have cancelled my 2nd June booking and intimated Make my trip.
          The hotel rules and room size did not permit accommodation of four persons for the night in one room.
          A very unhelpful receptionist at the hotel asked all my responses and queries to be directed at Make my trip dot com.
          Subsequently my son and I made five phone calls to Make my trip helpline and each time was assured they would call back with a solution within ten minutes.
          Thereafter after each call, I waited endlessly.
          This was over and above the trauma of having to find a place to stay after dark in a new place like Shillong.
          At 7.20pm I received a mail from Make my trip intimating that they have cancelled my 2nd June booking supposedly at my request and are refunding the amount paid.
          During the fifth phone call after 9pm on 2nd June I was assured that a solution would be provided to my accommodation issue next day by 12 noon.
          That is the last I heard from them.
          As a regular customer of the Make my trip dot com I felt cheated and left in the lurch.

            I have booked 2 air tickets to Singapore through makemytrip(via phone option) on May 2nd , While booking the ticket person informed me that, there is a cash back of 1000 Rs. for HSBC credit card holders. They asked me to use the coupon code HSBCINT
            Booking ID is IN1305B00936. Till now the cash back of 1000 Rs not yet credited to my account and now make my trip saying that no offer was there while I was booking.
            I asked them to check the call logs which I have made with the Customer care Guy Krishan Pratap Singh who promised me that there is a cash back and he only provided me the coupon code.
            When I called Makemytrip said that if the Booking Agent agreed for the cash back in the call we will check the call recordings with Quality dept and provide you the cash back. Since then I don’t get any response from Makemytrip. If this kind of Cheating service they are giving for international Customers just think how they treat the domestic and for hotel booking. For this reason I have booked my Hotel and other journey through goibibo and agoda for air ticket and hotel booking. This is a complaint of absolutely cheating and I hope the authorities will open their eyes and I am going to file a complaint in Consumer court for absolute cheating.

            Make My Trip.com — Airline cashback offer refund

            For the first time, by mistake i booked my airline ticket thro makemytrip.com

            I had booked 4 Indigo flight ticket onward and return chennai - New Delhi,

            under return ticket cash back offer.

            Though indigo's direct booking was much cheaper, i was fascinated by "book for one way get return ticket free"

            advertised my makemytrip.com.

            and i had immediately booked and travelled.

            after sending repeated mail, makemytrip official called me.

            I was shocked when they told me that, i had transferred thro ICICI BANk
            net banking for which cash back is not applicable.

            I have paid about 30% more than the actual fare.

            I advise all friends to book directly any airline and not thro makemytrip.com

            MakeMyTrip — Fraud in cash back offer

            Hi

            I had booked a return ticket from DEL-BLR-DEL from make my trip website for 15 May journey.

            The makemy trip is having a 60 % cash back offer on base fare for any Indigo return ticket.

            At the time of booking, I even confirmed with the make my trip CC executive they confirmed about the Cash back offer.

            I got the copy of my invoice, stating the same about the offer.

            After the journey, now they are saying that this offer is valid only for the cash back on return leg of the journey. They are reluctant to pay the cash back amount even when I send the copy of my invoice saying clearly that its cash back on total base fare.

            I am attaching the mail clarly indicating the offer and invoice.
            I had booked a return ticket from DEL-COK-DEL from make my trip website for 13 May j& 28 May ourney.

            The makemy trip is having a 60 % cash back offer on base fare for any goair return ticket.

              I was trying to book round trip tickets for 3 adults from mangalore to dubai on June 18th 2013 and return on July 8th 2013.

              I could find below option in Air India Express:
              Rs.20,749
              June 18th 2013: Departure from Mangalore at 2pm and arrival at Dubai 4.10pm
              July 8th 2013 (Return): Departure from Dubai at 12.10pm and arrival at Mangalore 5.25pm

              But unfortunately when I click to book tickets I would get option to book tickets in Air India:
              Rs.20,749
              June 18th 2013: Departure from Mangalore at 12.50pm and arrival at Dubai 9.55pm (1stop)
              July 9th 2013 (Return): Departure from Dubai at 12.05am and arrival at Mangalore 5.20pm (2 stops)

              As showed in your website I am entitled to get option of Air India Express as mentioned above. However, it is unfair that I am getting option to book tickets at same price but in different flight which is not nonstop and duration of journey is above 10 hours.

              I am disappointed with the problems in the website and your customer care service. I expect a solution for this problem from your end, because I was not able to book tickets due to this issue and the price per each ticket now increased to Rs.25,681, which is almost Rs.4000 more per ticket.

              I request you to provide a solution by booking the tickets for me at Rs.20,749 per ticket and crack a fair deal. I would appreciate if you do not provide option for me to opt help from District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum or Consumer Protection And National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

                i had booked tickets of punbus hvac from delhi to hoshiarpur and then jalandhar to delhi for 29 may and 02 june 2013 respectively. They shown as seating arrangement of 2x2 in bus . But actually seating arrangement was 2x3 . And seats were very uncomfortable .they did not give any notice about it and charged full fare for this faulty service.
                please make them stop fooling consumers.

                  I have booked a ticket from Pune to Udaipur on 31st May 2013 for a AC sleeper bus from Karan Travels (GHyundai). Some how the AC bus was not well and they sent the NON AC bus. I refused to travel on this bus and demanded my money back at my boarding point only, where the bus operator told that you did not gave money to me, you have given to makemytrip so collect it from them. The bus operator then told me that keep this 200 rs and you have to travel in this bus only. I told I dont want to travel 20 hrs in a NON AC bus then Bus driver started the bus and started moving. In that panicking condition I boarded the bus. As my stop was the last stop the operator went down. After 30 -40 meters travel only and some angry discussion with the driver and cleaner I stepped out of the bus. I then called the number provided on the bus ticket and to my surprise that number was of the luggage office where the reciever could not solve my problem. I called up makemytrip from the boarding point itself. They registered the complaint and assured a call back. On my way back from the boarding point to my house I got a call from makemytrip and I explained all the details. After that point I am regularly calling them up and demanding my money but they are just forwarding my complaint to the concerned team. I also have a call in conference with makemytrip, bus operator and me, and after that too they told that we will revert back to you. But untill now there is no solution and It seems that makemytrip is taking the issue casually enough and trying to extend the time so that every one forgets about the issue. Though it is a matter of just Rs 1000 but I want this irresponsible peoples to get a lesson of ruining my whole trip where there is exactly ZERO fault on mine. My booking ID is NU[protected]

                    This is to inform you that Mr. Rishi has done false commitments with us and got our package booked.
                    • Transfers - My requirements were totally different what i got in Mauritius. I have asked for Private transfers and Rishi booked Group Transfers. Inspite of asking n no. of time and even given email commitments for this. Maurituis it only from Airport to hotel was private transfer other wise all were group transfers. Only it was fixed that returning would be on coach basis but really it was different.
                    • Package details – When received the mail from Gaurav an no. of details which were provided by Rishi were missing. When I shared with Rishi, then It got rectified and even shared at wrong email id. After doing follow up received at my email id.
                    • Follow up – Not a single person followed or been in contact to make me customer aware of process, just mailing will never be the best solution, when I continues followed up became more concern as only one and half week left for travel got connected with Gaurav and I got a response that, we have lots of work could be possible we just tried once and probably I have not picked the call we didn’t tried again.
                    • Insurance and documents - Also package consisted the cancellation policy for insurance which automatically share's that insurance is included but lately again shared that insurance is not included and when i shared that i will not bear that then request for 50-50% to bear. When received the insurance paper details were wrong in insurance as well as email id's. And never received the rectified papers even after traveled.
                    • Matrix Sim Card - Secondly as per the package it was shared that I would get Matrix sim card worth 250 free, which I never got it. I purchased by my own, which cost me 350 Mauritian Rupees.
                    • Room - Thirdly I have asked for Ocean views room and i got a room which was ocean facing but view was occupied with trees no ocean view was there. This was not communicated earlier. when reached the hotel, phone was not working, Television was not working, and even hot water was not coming, I need to do follow up everything. Even Hotel was not bothered.
                    • At the time of communication for payments also i followed up, there was no follow up from Mr Gaurav or any team from Makemytrip. Surprised to see that at the time of booking sent a person to collect the chq but when payment needs to be done on even request not a single person help in collecting chq. I can't expect this kind of service from make my trip. This was pathetic.
                    • Water Issue in Mauritius - When reached Mauritius came to know about water problem there. It was not prior communicated so that we could have carried some amount of water in our baggage with end up paying money there. I want my money back for ruining my international holiday trip.
                    Can Makemy trip suggest this was trip for me to relax or another task to accomplish inspite of giving my valuable money. This Money was for my enjoyment and not for supporting Makemytrip. You guy’s should return my money back.

                      A friend and I were supposed to travel (one from Mumbai and one from Delhi) and we paid 5,400 extra for this customized package. Unfortunately my friend was unwell and since MMT refused to refund the tickets I had to travel alone. Despite repeated reminders by phone , email and SMS the tickets were mailed only one day before the flight. To my shock I noticed MMT had booked the tickets with the wrong names from the wrong cities.

                      When I informed them they said they will rebook the tickets but will cancel my friends package as he is not coming. I told them not to that as I will lose my cashback and since I have paid 64,000 and that is not a small amount. Naina Negi from MMT assured me that I would get the full cashback (I have SMS and Emails to prove this). I was supposed to get 7% cash back per person. However I have only got cash back for one booking.

                      When I contacted MMT they said one package has been cancelled and we dont give cashback for cancelled packages. This is blatant cheating by MMT. I have never cancelled any package.

                        I had booked my holiday ( Customized) under advice from Holiday IQ with MakeMyTrip. My agony started at least 3 days prior travelling with the family. This package was of premium category and the names of the hotel proposed were of premium side. Once the payment recovered, the confirmation of the Hotels were totally a different to the one proposed. The listed Hotels simply disappeared from the frame. It was well identified prior departure and number of calls through the call centers and any number of mails were shot across to various names. Each one excused by giving names one different to another. The end result was:

                        My first point was Kolkatta, the Hotel they believed to have booked us was more like lodge than be called as Hotel. The irony was that THERE WAS NO BOOKING though we had a booking voucher given to us. We had to book in at a separate Hotel at our own expenses. Visited MAKEMYTRIP office at Kolkatta, poor girl(don't know the name) was so expressive and tried to help us by escalating to one Mr. Sanjiv Sandal believed to be Country Head. Agony, there was only assurance from a lady called REKHA and things remained as it was unchanged.

                        The next destination was GANGTOK: The Hotel they booked was more like a DORMITORY with three beds in one 10 x 10 room. The Hotel was located at Mall Road and booking description says there is Garden, landscape etc..etc... what a shame!!!! We had to book ourselves in a separate Hotel at our own expenses. No response from anyone and we were simply chasing all.

                        The Next stop was for LACHUNG: a valley people do not venture unless otherwise a confirmed booking, because of severity of extreme cold. After boarding the hired vehicle, en route came to know that there was no booking at all. We had to disband the tour from there on and went ahead on our own and manage to visit some place and also cut short the tour.

                        Though, the mail was sent to MAKEMYTRIP expressing all the adversities, so disgusting, no one called to help us. Some senior citizens were also part of this tour and we are at 2000 plus KM away relying on MAKEMYTRIP to honour their commitment.

                        The Hotel booking were in mess and not rectified prior departure, the transport was in mess, the planning was in mess. No accountability as you do not have any scope to talk to anyone in their system. Please understand, only MAKEMYTRIP can call you and if you try calling the same number, they do not accept.

                        My observation is that, in India, they may still last by following this practice as out there there 125 Crores and someone or other will be there to patronize without cross verifying the honesty of this Company. If they were to be Afghanistan, these people would have been beheaded.

                        My advice is that be sure and cross check each of your booking with the known entity at respective place else you will cheated. My case is a open and shut case, and probably take them to right place for legitimate loss recovery.

                          Hi,

                          I booked a holiday package with makemytrip.com worth INR 1,44,000 on 23 March 2013.
                          An initial booking amount of INR 20000 was made online and rest of the payment was to be made in 2 installments before the trip. The date of trip was May 26, 2013.

                          However due to some mis-happening in my family, I required to cancel the trip. I called my booking operator but my call wasn't received neither anyone from the company called back (even after the date of second installment was passed and the payment wasn't made from my side).
                          Finally, i wrote an email (on May 13, 2013) to makemytrip asking them to withhold the booking amount (INR 20000) with them but postpone the trip. After 2 days, i received a call from my booking operator (Poonam Sharma) and as expected, she was rude and harsh in her tone informing that all bookings have been reconfirmed and i will need to pay the cancellation charges (as per company policy) which appx would amount to 70% of my package cost.
                          I questioned them for not getting back to me (while they were supposed to) when the date of second installment was passed to which she remained numb.

                          Anyways, she held up the phone saying she will get back with the cancellation charges soon. In the meantime, I checked the hotel and airline websites to check what amount is deducted when a cancellation is made. Surprisingly, the hotels which were booked in this package didn't charged a single rupee when and if cancelled 1 day prior to check in. The airline ticket too was refundable post deduction of some charges which any how can not amount to 20000.

                          After a day, i received email from makemytrip saying the booking amount of INR 20000 has been forfeited as cancellation charges.I replied asking to provide a detailed cost break up with receipts and bills to ensure the payment which they have made amounts to 20000.
                          However, they refused to provide a cost break up instead claimed that the cancellation amount is more than 20000 BUT their claim is without any documentary proof.

                          I am asking for refund of my booking amount post deduction of charges, as applicable but not getting a satisfactory response in this regard from MakeMyTrip. Request you to help.

                          I have tried to book my train reservation from New Delhi to Goa from May 5th to May 11th on the makemytrip through internet. When I was completed with the process, the message flashed on the screen that the reservation had failed due to technical snag at their end. When I checked my account a sum of Rs 11838 was already deducted from my account.
                          I called up their helpline, for which I was informed that my funds would be returned within two business day and I was suggested to try again. As reservation was available, I did the mistake of reserving the tickets but then again it failed and another amount of RS 11838 deducted from my account.
                          I am worried about the refund of the money and at the same time my travel plans stands shattered as all reservations in most of the trains stand closed. I have sent emails at their service address but for the last three days there isn't any response.
                          this is bad service and i have also experienced similar stiff

                          I took a trip to Mount Abu-Udaipur in Sep 2010 through makemytrip.com. They had promised me 3 star hotels but on reaching there, we found that the hotels were not 3 star. Then we got those reservations cancelled and got our own hotels. I have asked maketrip to reimburse me for the payments that I made to those hotels. But inspite of several reminders, they have not refunded any money to me.

                            With a great disappointment, this was one of my first travel
                            booking through MAKEMYTRIP.COM, I had to experience my most horrible
                            and hasslesome journey where i had been harressed by the airline
                            staff at the airport purely due to lapse of information which
                            was ideally suppose to have been passed on to the airline by MAKEMYTRIP.COM
                            operations, but had not been done, which shocked me.

                            I had rightfully paid to MAKEMYTRIP.COM am amount of AED 138 ( INR 2000 ) towards an infants
                            booking which is clearly stated on my acknlodgment sent by the operations, however, this booking information had
                            not been passed on to the airline and did not reflect on their
                            systems because of which i had been harressed by the airline staff at
                            the airport checkin for almost more than an hour, where they refused
                            to board me unless i make them a payment against an infant once more
                            and take up the process of refunding the amount paid up to MAKEMYTRIP.COM
                            website for the earliar booking.

                            It caused trouble to my family travelling with me and I had to go through a lot of harrassment.

                            I had immediately taken up this matter with the complaint team and after a great deal of follow up my complaint was first acknowledged only after a month after i wrote them first on[protected].

                            To my despair after they investigated and realised that it was due to a fault at their end, the only soultion they could give me is to take up a discount voucher of only RS 500 against my compensation of AED 650 ( INR 10000 ) and this was revised to INR 1000 later as atake it or leave it option.
                            Can you beleive this ? They expect me to accept a discount voucher from a company which messed up and i have no intention of do any business with.

                              i booked complete package tour of European Bonanza for two person.its a honeymoon tour.my departure date is 28th may,2013.from the last many days my visa process is going on.i specially told shweta grover about the date for visa interview and she told me that dates can be changed later.
                              i sent all the documents which are required which includes both families wedding card.in girl side card there is clearly mention about the function on 15th may,2013 and moreover at my side also there is rituals and it is not possible for me to attend interview on 15th may,2013.
                              today in morning at around 8.30am i received call from shweta grover and she told me about the interview date and i told her i cant go on 15 th may.she told me that she will mail the concerned department about this and will let me know by afternoon.
                              i asked her that i already told you about the dates of interview .she replied that we dont have any option for selecting the interview dates.its only the embassy who decides the dates. shweta frover never asked me about the available dates on which we can go to embassy.
                              i called koushal negi on his mobile number ([protected]) and explained him all the matter,he directly told me to cancel my booking.
                              i had made many calls to makemytrip customer care and sugandha from international sales department also wrote to koushal negi and shweta grover supervisor to cal me urgently but still i did not received any call.
                              i am a businessman and since morning i cant concentrate on my work and since morning i am calling makemytrip customer care and writing mails to [protected]@makemytrip.com.this is creating lot of mental harrasement to me.

                                Make My Trip: Deficiency in Services
                                I would like to share some of my “unlimited memories”
                                We 4 ( Vinay Dixit along with son Varun Dixit & Friend Vishal Manot with his Son Yash Manot) booked a Thailand Trip through Make My Trip Booking ID IN1303B25550 Tour Code MT3004
                                We boarded the Thai flight TG314 from Kolkata to Bangkok on 30th April 2013 and landed at around 6.10 AM and after coming out of the airport, we met Miss Nina, who told us that we need to wait till 10 am since another couple would be coming down from Mumbai flight at 9 Am. We told her that it was mentioned that the pickup was at 8AM; she refused to change and made us wait till 10. We were given an itinerary for MT3004-B with P.N.R No: R[protected] on the ITC BANGKOK CO LTD 50/980 Moo 9 Bangpood, Pakkret, Nonthaburi 11120 Tel[protected] email [protected]@itcbangkok.com
                                Finally 7 o[censored]s from Kolkata and two from Mumbai were transferred to Pattaya. The driver dropped us in front of hotel, kept our baggage out of the van and drove off without even being courteous enough to help us take it in.
                                We checked in at 11.45 am at ALL SEASONS PATTAYA to find out we could not check-in till 2PM, we had to spend time in lobby for 2 hrs. There was no one to guide us or meet us. They asked a deposit of 1000 baht per room, to which we were willing to deposit 100 US Dollar but they refused. Finally we had to get it exchanged from outside and deposited in hotel.
                                The hotel as per the make my trip itinerary was supposed to be 3 stars or equivalent, but it was not. We were in for a shock- the hotel is located in a narrow by lane- much away from any of the main tourist areas. The room did not have a tea Coffee maker and when I asked front desk I was informed that this facility is not available. The luggage boy kept on asking for the tip. Hotel did not even have the basic facilities making our stay and the entire trip more unpleasant and unbearable.
                                We waited at the hotel for the pickup as mentioned at 5 pm for ALCAZAR SHOW but there was no one to pick us up, we could not call the local contact since we were not carrying the local sim, we left hotel at 530 and bought a local sim to call them up but by the time we were back the van had picked up Mr & Mrs Bhattacharjee at 545 for the Alcazar show and we were shown as “No Show”. We were asked to be ready by 730 for dinner, the pick-up van arrived at 8 along with a person called KP in a motorcycle who got us dropped at the dinner place, Mumbai Masti, on reaching the restaurant we found ourselves once again in trouble since three halls were occupied with dinner and we didn’t knew where to have ours. We called up KP and made him talk to the manager/owner and finally had the dinner which was a very lousy one. After coming out we could not find the van and there after called up KP who asked us to take a local transport to reach hotel and the amount of 200 Baht would be reimbursed next day morning.
                                We went to bed at 10 Pm and when on bed my friend Vishal found the body itching, stood up and found the bed having BED Bugs all over called up the reception that responded after an hour and showed them the Bed Bugs to which they immediately shifted us from the 714 room to 806. As a result we could not have a proper sleep.
                                The Next day the pick-up van driver called us up in our room phone at 7.45 and asked us to be down by 8 or else he would leave. We somehow managed to get ourselves down without freshening up and found that the driver was going away we ran and managed ourselves to be in without having breakfast the driver was very rude and ruthless. He lacked in basic courtesy. He was not ready to listen to us; he only told us or did what was told him to by the travel agent. In a hurry we forgot to pick up shorts, towels etc for the coral tour, ending up with no activities.
                                We had tried to call KP but he did not pick up the phone it kept on ringing at last we had to call Make My Trip Mr Sanjit Hazarika (Kolkata office, Senior Executive – Sales.) to inform him the kind of facilities we were getting, he passed on the line to some madam to whom once again we had to narrate the complete story at our cost, she said she would get back to us within 15 minutes with a solution which she didn’t as expected. I informed my brother in Kolkata and he called them up and he was asked to shoot them a mail, which he did on 1st May 2013.
                                Thereafter we were picked up for the ALCAZER SHOW by the ruthless driver and reached there to find Mr Jack the local agent who got us the cheap tickets for the show.
                                After the show at 7.15 we were sent for dinner and once again there was no pick up van after the dinner, we called KP and had to wait for half an hour for the van.
                                He was avoiding us simply because he had to pay us 200baht, he did not care to give us 200 baht, and we had to ask for it as if we were begging. He was the one to tell us the day before to take a taxi and he would pay us the fare.
                                After the above instances we were all down at the lobby at 8.15 AM on the 3rd day, we had to wait till 9.45 AM for the pickup van to arrive. It seems as if time for us is not precious. If we are late by 5-10 minutes then the driver will leave us but if the driver is late then we will have to cooperate with him.
                                Finally we left Pattaya with a bitter taste and on the way to Bangkok hotel they took us to gems and jewellery and WAT PHO where we met Ms Nina and Mr Tyron wearing the Make my Trip Jersey. We told him about our bad experience in Pattaya, and about the
                                mail received from Anit Sarkar stating that Already advised the Tour Manager over there to take special care for the rest of the trip Request has been sent to provide better room to clients in Bangkok.
                                Even then No special care was provided to us.
                                The Hotel Howard Square Boutique was again a normal cheap hotel with no stars and far away from the Market place /Main town, Pratunam/MBK/Suan Lum etc the driver as usual left us outside the hotel. We were picked up from hotel for Dinner and the Van person took us to Asian Delight restaurant, as we picked up plates the owner/ manager came and asked us about the trip we were from after knowing he said that they do not have any booking for us. It was a mockery o[censored]s since every other person in the restaurant looked at us. The Driver spoke to someone and he took us to another hotel, Hotel Rasoi and immediately left us after dropping. Within 10 minutes Mrs Shyamali Bhattacharjee receives a message stating that we were not in Rasoi and the Driver has thus left us. I called up Tyron made him talk with the manager of the restaurant and informed him that we are already there he said that the van would reach by 9.30PM, Mr Uday Agarwal waited outside the hotel for the van while we had the dinner and drinks in Rasoi and paid for the Drinks. We called up Tyron to know about our pick up, he said that the driver waited for us for half an hour and left and now we need to go on our own. We all 7 people were in a swoop; neither were we carrying the hotel address nor the amount, while the local cabs could not understand the place Hotel Howard Square. We were around 15 mms away from the hotel in a foreign country and it seemed as if we are lost.
                                Uday Agarwal ,Mr & Mrs Bhattacharya and me along with my son tried to tell Tryon that no van was there but he was so adamant that at last we had to call up the tourist police. After receiving a call from them Tyron called up and informed us that the Rasoi people will be arranging the cab to send us back.
                                On talking to my brother he informed me that Make My Trip (Mr Anit Sarkar) had given us a complimentary Safari World & Marine Park tour for tomorrow and to get in touch with the local agent. The local agent Mr Tyron refused saying that they do not have any such information.
                                Mr Bhattarcharjee and Uday Agarwal was so much moved that they asked us to accompany them to lodge a complaint to Jaraounkung 101 RD, WATPRAYAKAI Police station Bangkok.
                                We reached hotel to find that the cooling of room very poor with no fans, we lodged a complaint but nothing was done. We along with the kids were completely tired and somehow managed to sleep.
                                Next, 4th Day we left for sightseeing & marketing and at around 11 Mr Tyron called up to let us know the complimentary vouchers he was having for 4 o[censored]s. He met us in Indira market and handed the same and included uday too since he was with us. But since half of the day had passed by and the next day we were to leave for Kolkata we were given Madame Tussauds and Siam Ocean world vouchers. In the night Mr Tyron was present at Rasoi Restaurant and waited for us and had us dropped in to our hotel.
                                Fifth day we visited the above 2 places along with Mr Uday and Bhattacharjee and felt very bad since Mr And Mrs Bhattacharjee kept waiting outside.
                                We reached hotel to find the Airport Van waiting outside, since we had bought TV the driver asked us to pay 100 Baht/TV. We called up Tyron but he said that yes we need to pay for it but we were not told anything as such nor anything related to this was mentioned in the itinerary or any other document given to us.
                                Overall, the agent, drivers were rude, ruthless ,disrespectful to our entire group and not at all understanding plus the local agents there were only interested in filling their pockets by trying to sell us local sim cards, changing currency and vouchers for safari world etc. etc. We had to shell out extra amount from our pocket and see the places.
                                Being in a foreign country I think every moment was precious, time shouldn’t be wasted but because of the drivers and agents a lot of worthy time was wasted.
                                The so called “Indian Food” offered there was equivalent to a langar service in a gurudwara. You state in your package “Indian meals at Indian restaurant.” However go with the notion that these restaurants are like a big hall where buffet meals of sub-average quality is kept. We preferred having food at our cost instead of having meals provided by you. We had lunch in Pattaya which was exceptionally well cooked, and same we did in Bangkok. But according to your agents the “Indian” meals provided were at the best restaurants of the city. They simply want to save money by providing food at cheap places. According to me Meals can be very easily skipped as they are a sheer wastage of our limited time and are not worth eating. We would be happier eating a burger.
                                Things were un-organized, there was plenty of miscommunication, agents went missing, and hence the entire tour could be summarized as a complete disaster.
                                Make my trip people talk very sweetly to trap us in the deal, once they get payment, “make my trip" does even bother to care and respond to their customers. Worst after payment service I have seen in my life. Their vendors in Thailand are some low class thugs running tours and travels locally, their service level is so bad, even if monkeys were given a chance would provide better service than their local vendors. They shout at you as though they are doing us a charity act, given a chance they will get physical also. If you cannot hire proper trained guides, you should not conduct the tour. As your commercials say “100% satisfaction or money back” I would seriously like you to return the money. & compensate my loss. Add to it the harassment which I have been subjected to because of such inefficient and bad service and this has turned out to be a nightmarish experience.
                                It says “make my trip – memories unlimited” yes, I have got unlimited bad and unforgettable memories. The trip was not even half its value. I trusted a company, who proclaims to be the best, but the experience was horrible. I simply wasted my money and time by booking the tour by “MAKE MY TRIP”. I WOULD NEVER EVER INVEST MY MONEY INTO MAKE MY TRIP PACKAGES AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MAKE MY TRIP TO MY FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES.

                                Make My Trip — hotels facilities in appropriate

                                we booked a hotel in december through make my trip for ooty. while booking we were assured all the facilities are available as mentioned in the hotel . upon our arrival we were surprised to find none of facilites were operational. we requested for ferund of our money but they refused. no action was taken by them . none of the indoor facilites were working, lift was under mainatenaince, hot water was not available, room conditons were pathetic. i wonder how did makemytrip had given the 3 star rating to it..??

                                Once i am traveled from chennai to coimbatore, At 9.30 PM , SETC bus stopped in thuthukudi udaya hotel(All SETC Buses hold in that hotel) for night food.But i enquire the valuse of the food i am shocked because one dosa Rs.65/-,Tea-10 Rs, Benne-12 Rupees. the rate is very high(I think drivers get food free)

                                Many peoples are not had the food because of the rate(Some peoples are had because there is no choice)

                                So kindly verify the Udaya hotel of thuthukudi and fix the menu board for reasonalble prize

                                Yes i too agree with your compliant, but all the motels are selling at their own rates and they dont bother about the consumers, they know that there is no option for the consumers.

                                More over if they wanted more money, people are ready to give that money, but they need proper quality and hygine, when we go to a good hotel like saravana bhavan and all we are giving sky rates to get a scoop of pongal, too costly, even though people are buying because of quality, i dont know how the helth dept allows such kind of motels and here the driver and conductors is the culprits they are stopping at these motels because they are getting free food, tea cofffe, cigrates pan etc., etc., thats why they are stopping at these cheap road side motels.

                                Govt has to do something on this..! lets see?

                                Awesome Boutique — deficiency of services

                                I had provided my clothes for stitching at Sunshine Creations alias Awesome Boutique alias Studio 75, situated at S 110, Pankaj Plaza, Plot No 10, Sec – 6 market, Dwarka, New Delhi 110 075. The clothes have been stitched very badly and the owner refuses to compensate or alter the stitching. On requesting for the name in which the shop is registered and other information, the owner turned hostile. The mobile no of the owner is [protected].

                                I am surprised that the owner is blatantly running three establishments without a TIN/VAT no and proudly says she has bribed the local policeman, so she is safe

                                I ORDERED A NOKIA HANDSFREE FROM ONLINE PORTAL OF DEALSANDYOU DATED 29.07.11.

                                AS PER DEALSANDYOU IT WAS DISPATCHED ON 8TH JULY 11 AND RETURNED ON 18TH JULY 2011 DUE INAPPROPRIATE ADDRESS.

                                NO COURIER PERSON HAS EVER CALLED INSPITE OF CONTACT NO'S GIVEN.

                                FROM 16TH JULY 2011 I HAVE MAILED THEM ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND CALED THEM ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NO.[protected]. BUT ALL EFFORTS WERE USELESS AND WASTE OF TIME.

                                RECENTLY TODAY I.E.18TH AUGUST 2011, I INSISTED THEM TO PROVIDE ME PERFECT DETAILS, AND ALL OVER THE DAY WAS ON PHONE HOLDING FOR ALMOST 60MINUTES.

                                TILL THE LAST PERSON MR.KUNDAN SINGH PICKED THE CALL, THINGS WERE NOT AGGRESSIVE AND EXECUTIVES WERE REPLYING AND COORDINATION FOR MY ORDER DISPATCH DETAILS.

                                THE TIME MR. KUNDAN SINGH PICKED UP THE CALL... HE SAYS " PLS DO NOT CALL UP AND STAY ONLINE WITH OUR EXECUTIVES FOR SO LONG, YOU MAY BE HAVING LOT OF TIME TO BE ONLINE, BUT WE DO NOT HAVE" YOUR ORDER MAY COME WITHIN FEW DAYS.... THE WAY THAT PERSON WAS TALKING WAS AS IF SOME "USELESS" AND UNPROFESSIONAL IS TALKING.

                                IN PAST ALSO, I HAD BAD EXPERIENCE OF DEALSANDYOU WHEREBY I GIFTED SOME SPA'S VOUCHER TO MY CLIENTS, IN RETURN THE VENDOR MADE FOOL OF THEM BY GIVING AN APPOINTMENT AND TURNING IT DOWN, SAYING AS ONE HAS TO MENTION BEFORE APPOINTMENT THAT ITS FOR DEALS AND YOU, INSTEAD OF IMPRESSING HT CLIENT I LOST ONE.

                                I HOPE HIGHER EXECUTIVES FROM DEALS AND YOU TAKE THIS TO NOTICE AND REVERT BACK ON THE ISSUE, AND CHECK OUT EMPLOYEES LIKE KUNDAN SINGH SHOULD BE TAUGHT A GOOD LESSON.

                                I have the same complaint. I had place the order for the head set via order number 173168 on 12th july 2011. This has yet to be delivered. Calling up the delas and you customer care is frustating to say the least as tey donot have any information and will not transfer the call to their seniors or the concerned department.
                                Deals has passed with me. The Mobile I ordered on 14/06/2011 still not received.Initially I was told the order is to dispatched and later after multiple calls I was told the order was returned. And still my order is to come till today.(upto- 24/08/2011)

                                  I had made a booking for Goa on 4th May 2013 from 26th May to 29th May. I have few issues to bring to your notice as under: -

                                  1. I had made this booking for INR 58,529/-, whereas the same flights and same hotel booking with Yatra.com was costing me INR 55,552/-. However, being your loyal customer, I preferred MakemyTrip over Yatra, expecting that you will consider and give me credit of the difference of INR 3,000/- approximately between your value and Yatra.com value for the exactly same flights and hotel.
                                  2. Secondly, the same hotel is providing many freebees for the similar time stay with Yatra.com, whereas the same is completely missing your package. I am pasting the freebees by the hotel with Yatra.com for your reference.
                                  “One child up to 12 years complimentary sharing parent's room without extra bed ,Late check out till 1600hrs ,Book for minimum 02 nights and get 01 dinner complimentary ,Breakfast ,Airport transfer for 2 nights stay only ,Complimentary Tea / Coffee Maker in the room with daily replenishment”

                                  3. Regarding these concern, I had called the helpline number of MMT and spoken to Ms. Rajshree, who had asked me to send the screen shots of the booking at Yatra.com. Since then, I had spoken to various Executives of MMT, as well as written numerous e-mails also, but everytime I receive a standay reply from some Mr. Amit Govani.

                                  With this, I expect a credit / refund of INR 3,000/- from MMT against this package and the Hotel freebees at par with Yatra.com. Since I have booked only flights and Hotel (even some room) from MMT, it should not charge more than Yatra. Moreover, the Hotel inclusions should be same in both, which is not the case with MMT. I can challenge that even if we compare the rates of MMT with Yatra, the rates of MMT will be higher.

                                  Please help me resolving this issue. My communication held with MMT is enclosed.

                                  makemytrip hotelbooking — rates of hotel over charged than available at hotel

                                  i booked the delux room at hotel vits belgaum fordt 25/12/2008.i was debited rs4400.00 trough my creditcard vide ref. no htl[protected]. no hotel vouchers were mailed to me till the night of 24th. than i approched hotel directly.they offered me same plan for rs 3695.00 inclusive of taxes and breakfast complementry. but they also revealed that they have a confirmed booking for me by make my trip this practice leads to mistrust and ifeel cheated.tomorrow iwill go to hotel though no hotel vouchers has been mailed to me .someone can understand my mental agony .is thereany officer with them because today ihave called them at least six times.

                                      This booking was done on 22nd April 2013 by Mr. Maninder Bindra ([protected]) (Maninder.[protected]@makemytrip.com) and advance payments of Rs. 20,000.00 [10,000.00 per person] was made vide cheque no: 000052 dated 22nd April 2013 on Kotak Mahindra Bank payable to Make My Trip India Pvt Ltd which was duly cleared from my Bank on 24th April 2013

                                      Yesyerday (08th May 2013) i receive an e-mail from Kamiya Kumar ([protected]) (Kamiya.[protected]@makemytrip.com) stating that this booking is cancelled without mentioning any Valid Reason.

                                      Such a poor response from such a reputed organisation like Make My Trip inst appreciated.

                                      I need to go to Kuala Lampur on 22nd May 2013 since my friends from other countries are also visiting Kuala Lampur from 22nd May 2013 to 26th May 2013, and they have also made their booking based on my Arrival & Departure from Kuala Lampur.

                                      Kindly make necessary arrangements to prevent this booking from cancelling or else I will be forced to take the legal help

                                      Make My Trip India Pvt Ltd — Cheating in hotel booking

                                      I was booked my hotel from Make my trip for Dwarika (Gujrat), after booking again i was booked my all next travel booking. After 1 day make my trip guy called me and saying that we don't have room in your booking hotel,Now you have only 2 option, take your money back or we will give other hotel room.. I seen other hotel is budget hotel ,and they want to provide me budget hotel room in place of Luxary hotel room.

                                        I have the Worst experience with Make My Trip I had booked e-ticket return ticket Lahore /Dubai /Lahore for my brother and paid via UAE Exchange and guess what when my brother went to Dubai Airport for his Departure Flight we came to Know that Flight is NO LONGER OPERATING FROM DUBAI TO LAHORE SINCE JAN 2013 imagine our situation as we where not informed at all about this in advance, Logically it was responsibility of Travel Agent (Make My Trip to inform us) When I spoke to customer care team for initial 40 minutes conversation the staff said we didn't received the notification from Air Line but when he (Make My Trip Staff) added the airline staff in the conversation he said we did send the Notification. YOU can imagine my Situation that time as My Brother was on Visit Visa and luckily I booked his ticket 3 days prior to his visa Expiry, When I told them and request them that you already have money with you please issue one-way ticket from Dubai To Lahore they refused to do the same and said they can Only REFUND the money to my bank account. I have provided them my Bank account details on 26FEB and received an email from them that your refund been processed and it will take 31 Working days to reflect the same in my account. But Today is 07MAY 2013 and till date I have not received any Refund in my account, I have followed up several times and every time have received the same response. No one is providing me the Wire Transaction Details which i can forward to my bank and followup with them. and Now since 29APRIL2013. Even Customer Service Staff cannot Help and repeating the same words again and again. I am REALLY FED UP. This was my First first booking with Make My Trip and I had the Worst experience of my Life. For sure WILL NEVER DEAL OR BOOK ANYTHING WITH MAKE MY TRIP.
