I have booked tickets or the date 7nd aug, 14, 12th aug n 2 nov 14 from lucknow to pune amounting to 3736 inclusive ST, for which the payment option was selected as 0% EMI option from HDFC.I checked with HDFC bank as well as your customer care that the 10.7% charged which has be leived has to be refunded back from Make My Trip.Can you please do he earliest and confirm back

    I recieved and email from make mytrip becuase i book a ticket round trip from abu dhabi to manila by philippine airlines an they said to the email that my flight being re scheduled and just find the scheduled below but nothing was being attached there, , its hard also to call to them because there is no telephone no/cel number to be contact in case of some information that we need...please just reply and give me a clear information regarding on it.. Thanks and have a nice day with you..

      i have a terrible experience with makemytrip international flight booking... first of all they promised in their site that the cancellation charges would be 1200 on the day of booking.. now i dont see the same promise to be kept.. i called the call center and talked to them for 1 1/2 hour to make them understand that i was shown 1200 for cancellation - they finally realised that there is some discrepancy and promised to call back within 4 hours.. there is no call back ... and when i called them back.. i am kept on hold for about half an hour now.. the call is handled by yathesh and rohit.. and they are not responding.. it is just kept on hold endlessly... my whole day is wasted on this follow up.. . i lost the opportunity of seeking other options also.. and still my concern is not resolved :(

I was promised to give an explaination whenever approached but in vain.. i still dont get any resolution and i lose the opportunity to get the reasonable fare plus advance notice time would be gone by the time i get their response..

          Booking ID CA1401B4S000173 It has been 2 months since I have been calling and following up and I get excuses all the time. I found it it be very unprofessional that it's taking 8 weeks but still no progress to refund. There is no accountability to resolve my issues. I have waisted several hours chasing ppl at call centre but no result. Feels like i am dealing with a road side agency and not a company. I am very disappointed...

            I was booking holiday package for 4th July 2014 online but when they confirm my booking it shown departure date is 8th of June 2014 after 10 minutes of my online booking, right after i have send email to For any query regarding this package, please email us at [protected]@makemytrip.com but bounced back to my email. again i send email [protected]@makemytrip.co that also bounce back, I have filed online complaint but no response lastly tried calling their customer care they keep disconnecting and i have made 30 calls but non of agent talked to me all they just hang up.

            I have already paid I need to file a charge back if I don't get my complaint resolved by tomorrow.

              I am writing in Utter disgust and dismay that my Money has been debited a week back neither I got ticket nor money returned back. Your helpless customer care keeps on giving new Booking IDs for an UNBOOKED TICKET with latest one IN1405B8S074068. I seriously dunno where to seek help from and what shall I do with these booking IDS. Its very easy for you guys to say that money is lying in payment gateway, now tell why I can't talk directly from them if they are not returning back the money. My money and I only suffering coz neither you guys care enough to give me ticket nor money on time (that I can book on my ticket). Any one pls give the corporate office contact details either on fb or any where, I need urgently. Thanks But No Thanks

                I booked my flight from A, bad to Pune on 24th of Indigo Airlines through Makemytrip website.Flight was rescheduled by more than 2 hours so I cancelled that flight bcos its useless for me.Makemytrip refunded me on Rs. 849/- out of my booking Amt Rs. 2724.When i make complain to make mytrip they told that Indigo has refunded this much amt to them.When i go through Cancellation Policy of Indigo Airline's website I found that if flight is rescheduled for more than 2 or 3 hours (depending on journey time) company will either me full refund amount or book another flight at my convenience date.I m not satisfied with makemytrip customer support team as it is their duty to fight with Indigo Airline as we booked ticket through makemytrip website.

                We are sorry to read about the issue.

                In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with Airline again and found that Airline cancellation penalty is applicable on your booking because as per Indigo's schedule change policy, you flight was not delay by 3 hours. Please find the below Airline policy which is quoted on their website for your reference.

                " If an IndiGo flight is cancelled, rescheduled or delayed for more than three hours (depending on the length of the journey), a Customer shall have to right to choose a refund; or a credit for future travel on Indigo; or re-booking onto an alternative IndiGo flight at no additional cost (subject to availability); subject to the requirements under the local laws of the country in which the flight has been cancelled, rescheduled or delayed ".

                Please note that we will not be able to honor this case because cancellation penalty has been charged as per Airline policy. You are free to talk to Airline for any further assistance on the case.

                  Booking id: NU2H[protected] Actually I booked a package for hotel and
                  bus on 9th-april-2014 but due to technical error bus booking was not
                  confirmed so I told for cancellation of hotel also because if I am not
                  able to reach their then what is the use hotel booking. Later I got the
                  refund for bus booking on 17th-april-2014 then I again talk me with
                  costumer care for the hotel booking they told me wait sir you will get
                  your refund on 19th-april-2014 I got the mail and sms for refund
                  initiation from makemytrip stating that you will get
                  your refund in between 3-7 days. But till yesterday on 29-April-2014 I
                  haven’t got the refund. Then again I talked with costumer so on
                  yesterday’s evening when I talked with them costumer care is telling
                  that we haven’t initiated your refund and costumer care is accepting
                  that which message you got is fake message from makemytrip for refund.
                  So sir kindly see the issue since early I am using makemytrip but this
                  scenario is trust breaking. Please solve my problem.
                  and after talking with costumer care they are showing me receipt of refund of bus booking 5880.
                  so kindly solve the problem. every time they are telling we will return you within 24 hr and nothing they are doing. kindly tell them to return the refund of 5756 of hotel booking. now it is more then 1 month.

                    I SENT following mails to your correspondent Mr Hiten & Rakesh NO RESPONSE IS RECEIVED TILL DATE

                    I did sent 2 mails one on 1/05/2014 which is under

                    I wanted share my nightmare experience with you and your vendors.

                    Firstly regarding the vehicle.
                    See as per the itinerary the journey is too long. The vehicle which is provided is not vehicle. Its cart. You know we left delhi at 9.30 a.m when we reached nainital it was 9.30 p.m. Few o[censored]s were more than 50 years. Who never had back pain. Experienced back pain for the vibration of the vehicle. All us really felt sick for the atmosphere and quality of vehicle. My request to you is don't provide this type of vehicles even for short distance travel.
                    After having 12 hours of journey. We got our room keys at night after 1.5 hours of check In. You know its totally mess in booking. They are telling 3 rooms and offering different categories. In fact Actual booked was 4. Finally after 1.5 hours we could able to get 4 rooms. You people tell something over telephone and it is something else in vouchers. Finally what was offered is different.

                    Secondly in Corbett. We don't offer such rooms to our maids. The only thing I can tell is its worst. Bathrooms you cant imagine.

                    After reaching Corbett we asked our vehicle driver to drop us to elephant shapari pick up point. Driver said its extra. Hence we made our own arrangements and paid them 1200. Then we asked for sightseeing in corbett. The driver said it is not there in itinerary and asked us to speak to his boss. We felt bad. We dont want pollute the atmosphere. We thought to leave it there. We made our own arrangements for sightseeing for that we paid Rs. 3300.

                    Since our itinerary is finalised I had been asking telephone nos of persons to be contacted in case of emergency. But it was not provided. The telephone no provided by you for vehicle is not responding. Like that.

                    These are only highlights. You people not clear in the itinerary. because of that all these problems.

                    The Second mail is sent on 04/05/2014 which is as under

                    Now the turn of Hotel ashirvad in mussorie.

                    The standard rooms ah! its better no to say anything. Both rooms and bathroom s doesn't have any ventilation at all. When we entered rooms it was bad smell. The bed spread and blankets are very gundhi. Then we decided to upgrade the rooms. You know when we checked in it was about 6.45 pm by the time we got the rooms it was 8.30 pm. You know our precious time of 2 hours is lost.
                    You know ours is MP plan. The hotel doesn't have restaurant. Hence food is served in the rooms itself based on the order. We finshed our dinner on 2nd may and breakfast on 3rd may morning and about to go for sightseeing. The manager Indresh came to me and said as per the plan the dinner is limited to Rs 200 per person and Rs 100 per person for breakfast. In our case as per him it is Rs 1600 for dinner and Rs 800 for breakfast. The matter is why this is not mentioned in voucher and why it was not told at the time of check in and why its after first day.

                    Because of the above issue and poor quality of food we informed them we don't want dinner and breakfast for second day. Accordingly we didn't took any thing.

                    Since the rooms were upgraded there was additional charges. We requested them to deduct Rs.[protected]+800) from the bill. They did not agreed. We paid the full.

                    Please address the issue and refund the amount.

                    I am sorry to say this. From day one I am asking you people to provide the contract details of person whom should contacted but it is not provided. We had worst experience with you people and all your vendors throughout the trip. I will tell why in my next mail.

                    Till date I have not received any response from your side please address the issue.

                      After booking.. They have given only 300RS instead of 1950Rs.
                      They told some stories...

                      They are cheaters.. Fraudulent company.

                        I had been for aa tour to Hong Kong with make my trip it was our lady trip with them it has been the worst experience they r so. Mis managed they don't inform anything in advance more over after reaching to hong kong these people change the whole etinary they reschedule it the whle first day schedule was shifted to the third day and first day they kept it free moreover charged us money for that day for outing and third they told they would b taking us to Macau that also never happened and they took extra charging for dinner so we thought it would b in our hotel itself and these people keep dinner in the main city and the worst part is u have to travel to the hotel by on our own and the hotel is which is given is so far it's the last station on hong kong wat have they taken money from us last day there was not even drop to the hotel it was a torture for us I had. Been with my mother and younger brother we do tours so that it is safe and they charge for wat I want my money back

                          I had booked a Tour Package for Mauritius from 20th~26th Feb’14 after a long discussion with Make my Trip person….It was our Honeymoon Package, , , (Rs. 1.65, 000/-) As per the conversation the below itinerary was confirmed by them before leaving from India… AS CONFIRMED 20th Arrival, 21st – North Tour, 22nd – Leisure, 23rd – South Tour, 24th Leisure, 25th – Ile Aux, 26th – Leisure and finally 27th Return ON AIRPORT ONLY WE WERE GIVEN TOTALLY OPPOSITE SCHEDULE AND WE ARE FORCEDTO FOLLOW THE SAME. 20th Arrival, 21st – North Tour, 22nd – South Tour, 23rd – Ile Aux, 24th Leisure, 25th – Leisure, 26th – Leisure and finally 27th Return We had gone there for Honeymoon and it had not gone as per our wish list just because of wrong commitment or depiction of wrong picture just to add one more customer…. Neither we able to enjoy as per Old plan nor new plan, so we would not able to absorb the same also happily…It was wastage of our money for me.. Cheating done… Make my Trip Reply Dear Nitin, Sir, As per our conversation I have informed to our vendor for the same plan. but in Mauritius however it got changed. You have to inform me once when the day wise itinerary was handed over to you so at that time I have talked to my vendor and can arrange the same.                             I cancelled my flight tickets on 30th March 2014 but so far the amount has not been credited to my account. The refund amounts to Rs 56000. I was informed from Make my Trip that the amount would be credited within a span of 3-4 working days or a maximum of 12 working days in case of Nationalized banks. But almost a month has been elapsed since I have cancelled the tickets but no quality response from them so far. Each time when I contact them they say they will resolve the issue within 72 hours and I have been hearing this from the very first time I contacted them. Many among their customer care executives don't have an extension number or they refuse to give one and each day when i call them I have to repeat the whole story again. I am expecting refund and additional penalty for the delayed payment from your side for each day delayed. Please help me in getting the refund as soon as possible as a major amount is involved.

                              US1312B3S002584 Booking ID. I have made atleast 20 calls over the past 6 days to have my flight re booked to an earlier date. All I get is excuses, and the same reassurances about a mythical 'call back'. Having used your service multiple times in the past, I can assure you that this will be the last time me, my family or any of my friends ever do.

                                I had booked Mumbai to Dubai return flight on 25th March i.e booking ID NN[protected]. The reason I booked flight is due to 6% cash back on ICICI cards. I had properly entered deal code ICICIIF while booking but till now I didnt see any cash back. I write the issue to customer care and they only have answer I didnt entered any code and closing the case without any proper resolution. This is just cheating by makemytrip and their customer care service are pathetic. Never faced any problem on other travel sites.

                                  Reasons To Avoid Doing Business With makemytrip.com (mmt) R1. Mmt screens incoming calls --- I am absolutely convinced. R1.1. If you select “new booking” from their phone menu they will take your call. R1.2. If you select “existing booking” they will either (a) not pick up the call at all, or (b) place you on hold, then disconnect you after sixteen minutes on hold. R1.3. If you select “dial an extension”, if you happen to have an employee’s extension number, the employee is free to decide whether or not he or she wants to take your call. Chances are she’d rather not. R1.4. Only if you complain on their fb site will their “Department of Customer Delight” (yes that’s what it’s called) step in and respond to your phone calls. R2. Mmt will try and shake you down for any extra change they can extort. R2.1. The terms printed in my ticket said a $350 charge will apply for any reschedule + any fare difference. R2.2. When I requested a reschedule they wrote March 10 to say that I will be liable for $610 + $50 mmt service fee + fare difference. R2.3. I wrote back to say I’d be damned. I pointed at the terms in my ticket. R2.4. They wrote back again, same day, to say that they will charge me $350 + 5% service tax on (airline penalty + fare difference). R2.4. On April 4 they asked instead for $350 + $50 service fee + fare difference. R2.5. Mmt finally offered to sell me a reservation for $350 plus a fare difference of $490. They were being extra nice to me, they had the temerity to suggest. That sums to $840. I said surely there’s a cheaper ticket online. They checked and they said: ah yes, you can get a new one-way ticket for $670. Please go book it at the mmt website, they suggested. I’d have to be such a damn fool! R2.6. Should the idea that they need to get me a good fare not have occurred to them of their own? R3. Some employees are careless. Some lie. R3.1. Here are “phone numbers” an employee sent me by way of email: “For any further assistance we are available round the clock on our toll free number[protected] / … /[protected]Any Landline).” Neither of these numbers clearly makes any sense. And their availability is not 24/7. It is 0/0. R3.2. An employee wrote in email, and later told me on the phone, that she had called me April 2, at about 4:30 pm. My phone shows no missed calls that afternoon or evening. R4. Phone manners R4.1. The greeting is delivered by a lady who sounds like she’s about to pat your and chide you playfully for pinching her again. She’s extra-jocular, and sports a Hoxbridge accent from Gurgaon. She is actually a typical specimen of the sort they appear to catch around here for telephone jobs. R4.2. The hold announcement repeats ad nauseam every five seconds. Fifteen minutes of that is enough to drive anyone crazy. R5. Shuttle-cock strategy R5.1. If you get in through the “new booking” route, the India office will tell you that since you made your booking in the US their “US Department” will call you. They most certainly will not. R5.2. If you get in again through the “new booking” route, the India office will tell you to call their US office at a 1-800 number, which you cannot call from an Indian phone. R5.3. Then they will suggest you live-chat on-line with the US office. R5.4. The live chat agent will disconnect you most abruptly at the drop of a hat. There is no chat transcript. Before the agent disconnects he will ask you to call the India office. R5.5. After two chat sessions, there will be no more chats. Your chat budget is done. You will get an unresponsive yellow screen that asks you call the India office, and gives you a 1-800 US number for good measure. R6. Bottom line R6.1. I have wasted at least 40 hours waiting on hold, calling, getting cut off, and writing email messages to mmt. R6.2. I was nearly a no-show (my ticket would have voided) on my original return date because mmt would not pick up my calls for five days, nor call back, or in any way process my change of reservation. I had to call the airline directly, in panic at the last minute, to cancel my return reservation. R6.3. Shoot yourself in the foot before you think of doing business with this terrible company. Be a good Samaritan. Please forward to every traveling person you know.

                                    I never thought that I have
                                    to write such a mail about one of the well-known travel agent who claims to be
                                    the best in the market. My query and complaint is related to the booking reference
                                    number indicated above.

                                    Today I came to Mumbai
                                    for an important business meeting and had to wait in the hotel lobby for 2
                                    hours as my booking was not confirmed by Makemytrip. Simply your customer care
                                    team was fooling around for 2 hours in giving me a proper response. I guess now
                                    I have to trust the similar experiences that other travelers have already faced
                                    which has been posted in various websites. How you people are cheating
                                    customers in this way? Please respond.

                                    I have called your toll
                                    free number followed by a guy named as Nikhil from Gujrat called me and
                                    conveyed that he has spoken to your Area Manager at Mumbai and he in turn has
                                    spoken to the owner of the hotel where my room was booked and they are assuring
                                    me a change of the hotel or assigning me a room. For that it took more than an
                                    hour. But all in vain as nothing was done by your team other than false
                                    promised over the phone. They even don’t have the courtesy to revert back on
                                    time.

                                    Your team made false
                                    promises by saying that they will arrange a hotel of similar category but now I
                                    am staying at Hotel Oasis. Kindly come and check the rooms here. If you feel
                                    that rooms at Landmark fort and this hotel are similar then I must say that you
                                    have a great taste.

                                    Over and above the inconvenience
                                    caused and embarrassment faced during my 2 hours long sitting at the lounge of
                                    Hotel Fort is unpayable. I took an early morning flight from Hyderabad to
                                    Mumbai today and at the outset had to face difficulty before attending a very
                                    important business meeting. My entire preparation gone in vain, I was late for
                                    the meeting because of the type of commitment and support I got from make my
                                    trip.
                                    Despite calling your executives several times there was no proper response. I
                                    can promise you one thing that if this is the way you are running the show then
                                    very soon you might end up with a mess. We pay more and take your support
                                    considering your company as a professionally managed organization but today I realized
                                    that it is run by monkeys and donkeys those really can’t speak Hindi or English
                                    and neither have they tried to understand the customers’ needs and importance.

                                    Sorry but your organization is a very unethical, scruple less company with
                                    their worst customer service.
                                    In fact I feel lucky to have learnt a lesson at a cheaper cost considering that
                                    I have not lost a lot, but imagine you have booked a vacation or an
                                    international flight schedule running into lakhs….you will have hmmmmmmmm

                                      I have Paid Rs. 750 /- for Bus booking from Pune to Nagpur dated on 21st March 2014. But Ticket has not got confirmed and generated. When I asked to makemytrip.com for refunding money. They told me for refunding money. But till 31st March 2014, they are not able to refund my money to my account no. [protected] It is totally cheating. They should refund money within 7 days like any other traveling site. Later, I have booked same bus ticket on same date from redbus.in so fast and convenient way. I have checked my status on makemytrip.com with phone: [protected] and status: NU[protected].. It is showing my seat is confirmed on makemytrip.com, because I have booked this ticket from RedBus.in.. And bellow that, It showing, Ticket status: Not Confirmed, Ticket number: UNDER PROCESS, BUS OPERATOR PNR: FAILED. Even, I am not getting any answer for my status.

                                        I have booked a railway ticket through make my trip for 12246 Duronto express of 25 Mar 14 under booking id NR[protected] dated 24/01/14. The details are as follows :-

                                        (a) Train No 12246 YPR-HWH Duronto Express
                                        (b) Passenger -2 (1 Adult and 1 child)
                                        (c) Date of journey -25/03/14

                                        The details of the transaction (TO TRANSFER/abhijit trail tkt/[protected]/NA/INB -TRANSFER TO A/[protected]) dated 24 Jan 14.

                                        The ticket had been cancelled on 26 Feb 14 vide Ref no IN1402R5S138375 for Rs 3590/- and the expected refund date was committed by your agency was 03 Mar 14. It is embarrassing that the account No [protected] has not been credited till to date. (The account statement is from 24 Jan -24 Mar 14 has been sent to you by [protected]@makemytrip.com).

                                        I had made a complaint ( IN 1403R6S128770 ) on Friday, 21 Mar 14 which is being still unanswered.

                                        Please update the status of the refund at the earliest.
