Hi,

I sent below mail to Makemytrip management but there is no response from them.

We have booked three ticket from MAKEMYTRIP website for trip - Amritsar to Katra on 11th May at 10:15pm. We took bus from Hall Gate at 10:15pm. Bus was not neat & clean at all.For luggage bags, Yashika travel supervisor wanted more money from us as per no. of bags.We called on MAKEMYTRIP helpline no. but nobody had picked up a call. Then, we paid extra money to Yashika travel agency for luggage bags.


After sitting on slipper, we had identified, THERE IS NO AC CONTROL BUTTON IN SLIPPER & AC CONTINUES RUN AT MAX COOLING. We requested to bus driver/supervisor to low down ACcooling, They said " Bhaiya AC itna hi chalega, window open karlo agr thand laag ri ha aur band karuga to puri bus k ek sath band hoga.i.e. They don't even have AC control buttons in bus"

My question is to MAKEMYTRIP higher management - If you have unreliable group of bus service, why are you providing to us & make our journey worst. We were totally fed up from bus service provided by Yashika travels &
behavior of there staff as well.

After compromising whole night with high AC cooling, they took Rural & Under developed road route from Amristar to Katra which have all roads broken. Local traveler prefer small routes so that they can save fuel/kilometer from smaller route instead of avoiding National highway route from Amristar to Katra.

Hopefully, Your team are already aware from word "Customer Satisfaction", If someone booked Sleeper online & paid more money as compare to others, obviously they wants more comfort & reliable
service which make their trip precious & happier. But in case of our trip, MAKE MY Trip made worst journey ever in our life.

When bus reached on JAMMU at 4am (12th May2014), Bus supervisor come to us & said" Please go in other bus as we have less no. of passenger in current bus & take seat in other bus if you will get". We had fight with them as we paid it for this bus which continuously go from Amristar to Katra(Non stop) & why would i changed bus with my all luggage bags due to clubbing of 2 bus passenger in one bus irrespective of any
technical fault in bus. At the end we moved out from bus on Jammu & took local service from Jammu to Katra after facing harassment & misbehaved from Yashika traveler bus staff.


We will never plan our trip MAKE MY TRIP as there is no connection between travel agency & MMT teams. Your team don't even know about service provided by traveler agencies.


Kindly help me to take my money back from MAKEMYTRIP Group & also ensure, they will not do same thing with other customers.

Worst Bus Service, i had ever faced, I had back injury and have to goto hospital after travel.

    My name is Nisha Vaishnaw .we have booked holiday package from Make my trip on 9th may. we had paid 51362 including transport and hotel stay.

    We have followed many times with representative Ms Kanchan regarding contact details of all hotel (houseboat ) and transport person. But the same was not provided even after many follow ups.
    On 21 st May None of Transport person contacted us. after so many efforts at 10.30 am transport person contact us which supposed to pick us at 7.30 am.

    Due to payment related issue between Make my trip and transport company, our cab driver halted the car near patnitop for 3 hrs in middle of the road. (where no facility of toilet and water).After so much followup with Ms kanchan(from make my trip) issue has been resolved after waiting of 3 hrs in mid of road due to that it delayed by 3 hrs . we reached srinagar at 2 am Night. As conatct details were not provided from Make My trip we couldnot able to locate the house boat we have booked even we have not received any call from houseboat person.

    as there is no option left we have to avail another houseboat for which we had paid our own.

    we had complaint the same incident to the representative Ms kanchan very next day.also complaint with make my trip for refund but till date i have not received any positive reponse from them.

    we had paid 4500 to avail the houseboat.My booking id is IN1403B6S121476

      Hi Sir/Madam, I booked my holiday trip with Make my trip on 19/05/2014 for Kerala. I paid 153000/- as a complement trip amount and promised I would get 3 star properties and just one 2 star in Rameshwaram. I was offered a route chart which says there would be maximum 3-4 hours journey in Cabs while moving one city to another. We were 4 adults and a kid, . My aged parents in law were also travelling with me and they made the trip miserable and terrible rather than memorable. I was all reliant on them while making the route chart as I am not aquainted with the south Indian route.. As per Itenary, we were supposed to visit Munnar, Allepy, kanyakumari, Rameshwaram and finally kovallam and then from Kovallam to Kochin Airport.. Since I was not awared about the route, I gave my consent. Then I got to know this route chart was not at all correct. I requested them to make it as From Munnar to Rameshwaram then Kanyakumari, then kovallam, Allepy and Kochin airport as it could have save a lot of time and my in laws parents would not suffer. I called them about more than 20 times but they did not respond.. They said hotels are booked and can not be changed as they have no rooms available.. I called few hotels however they all have vacant rooms since it was off season trip.. The worst part is the hotels were not upto the mark only Hotels in Rameshwaram and Kanykumari were some extent satisfying. Most of the hotel were worse than lodge where AC was not working.. Rooms were stinking and there were bed bugs and mosquitoes.. The lavatories were also not clean and room have damp patches due to leakage from roof.. It was a nightmare for us. Will send you few images I clicked from my phone later.. We had to travel 4 day for about 7-8 hours in the cab and not have any chance to visit places.. and we almost lost our flight the last day due to longest travel and had to board the flight without our luggage.. which we got the next day from different flight. I therefor request you to get me atleast 50% of my booking amount as they did not keep their words once they have the money..         Dear sir I was a loyal customer of your company since last 5 years but you have broken my trust by not refunding me for the booking I cancelled on 5th May having booking id- IN1404B7S233579, Aircosta from Bangalore to Chennai on 8th of May.I called up the airlines directly to cancel and dor refund I called your customer care on 5th May but I did not receive any message confirming cancellation refund. I got shock when called on 8th May, got to know that due to technical error it dint get cancelled and dey will cancel it now. I waited for 10 days as directef by your agent.But did not get the refund of Rs. 5868 after deducting Rs.2500 as penalty from Rs. 8368, so called on 19th May when I was tols to wait another day. But nothing happened so called back on 21st May and I was told to wait 4 more working days as case has been forwarded to account department. Again I called up on 27th May at 8a.m and was asked to wait for 4 more days but I requested to talk with the supervisor and after listening to my problem the supervisor told that he will call me before 4 pm with the solution. But I dint get call back so I called at 4 pm and was shocked to know that you do not have my bank details. What an excuse! I cancelled my return tickets as well with the same account details and got refund for return trip within10 days. And even if you dont have my account details why am I getting this information aftet waiting for 25 days? Anyways I agreed and gave my bank details through phone on the same day 27th May at 4 pm. I was told to wait for 4 working days. But no refund reflects from your side, so I called [protected]@ 10 am and I was told the same story to wait for 4 working days when I denied and demanded ro talk to supervisor I wss told he is not available and call back will be arranged within 2 hours but no call back till now . Now I would like to inform you that I am going to file a case against your company on harrasement and fraud if I do not get my refund within two days and before that I request you to revert back within today with valid reason of the delay and solution .             I want to inform you that the money you supposed to return my brother Yaniv Levanda about his fling ticket from India to Bangkok have not been supplied correctly. On 18 February 2014 Yaniv Levanda order a fling ticket from your company and then he canceled it. However, after a few days he spoke with you and he got the promise that you will refund his 10, 378 rupe. Until now he apply to you over 4 times and nothing has changed. I am writing to ask you to please make up him soon and not to drag him anymore.               I planned my visit to Vaishno Devi (Katra, Jammu) and opted for “Make my Trip” to book my bus tickets and it turned out to be a “NIGHTMARE” for me. This was the very first time I was using “make my trip” but I can assure you that this was the first and the last time... I faced so many issues that I m very much frustrated with the arrangements. Firstly, I booked my tickets for 25th May 2014 in “Swagatam Holidays” because I used their services in the past and they are quite a trusted name in bus services. However, on 23rd May I got a call from you customer care and he informed me that the tickets have been canceled due to some issue. I had no options other than asking for a substitute. My tickets were booked in “Shree Sai Nath Holidays” by your executive as a substitute. I expected same services from “Shree Sai Nath Holidays” which I was suppose to get in “Swagatam Holidays” but I SERIOUSLY GOT NOTHING. I booked 10 seats and here are the booking details PNR/Ticket Number: SA2J9J MakeMyTrip Bus Id: NU[protected] Bus Operator: Shree Sai Nath Holidays Bus Type: Volvo A/C Seater Executive Luxury (2x2) PNR/Ticket Number:M7E4QY MakeMyTrip Bus Id: NU[protected] Bus Operator: Shree Sai Nath Holidays Bus Type: Volvo A/C Seater Executive Luxury (2x2) The issues that I faced are: 1. No boarding location was provided on the ticket and when I called the operator (number given by you mentioned on the ticket) he was so rude to me as if I have taken money from him. I will quote him what he said “AAP LOG DELHI SE TICKET KARAKE AA JATE HO AND FIR HUMARA SIR KHATE HO”. After speaking to me rudely he gave me a number of another guy. Initially he didn’t’ picked my phone, I tried for more than 10 times but got no response. It was 5PM in the evening and my bus was scheduled for 6PM. He picked my phone at 5.30PM and had no idea about the bus number. I asked him to give me the bus number and in reply he said “Sir BUS NUMBER TO NAHI PATA BUT RED COLOR KI HAI AND RST LIKHA HAI AND JAHA AAP KHADE HO WAHA NAHI MILEGI” and he gave me a different location. Now my point is why I was not informed about the change in location and why I was not given the bus number. The language used by the bus operator was not acceptable. 2. I self-identified the bus as per the description given by the operator and boarded the bus. The second incident happened was quite strange. There was a guy who claimed that Seat no. 16, which was mine, is his and he also had a ticket with Seat no. 16 on it booked from “Make my trip”. How can 2 persons have same seat numbers? STRANGE... The same happened with one more guy, He also claimed to have Seat no. 15 which was mine, is his and he also had a ticket with Seat no. 15 on it. There was no operator to sort this issue out. The operator arrived at 7.15PM and the issue was sorted out. 3. The bus was scheduled to depart at 6.30 but it was departed at around 7.45 and there was no one to inform about the delay. The driver was there but he was only saying one line “Mai to naya hu mujhe kuch nahi pata” 4. No water was provided. I have travelled in many Volvo buses and everyone provided water bottles but this time nothing was provided. 5. The bus had no video facility. 6. The passengers were behind the bus driver to stop for dinner and the bus driver refused to listen to them. The bus was stopped @12AM in the night for Dinner. Who will eat dinner so late? We were so hungry but no one bothered for that. 7. Lastly, and quite interestingly, the bus I initially opted for “Swagatam Holidays” was there standing in the bus stand and departed @6.30 as scheduled. I need an answer from you guys now that why my tickets were canceled? I was tortured from all corners and I won’t let this go by. I need a proper explanation from you guys. I was tortured mentally. The above mentioned issues are more than serious and are not acceptable. I spent Rs. 12500 not to get tortured like this and ill-treated like this. I need answers to all my question.

                I had booked a ticket on 22 Dec 2013 for a journey on mumbai mail on
                18 Jan 2014 but the train was cancelled by the Indian Railways. So as
                per being instructed by the makemytrip i had filed a TDR complaint and
                was supposed to get a refund on 19 April 2014. But I didnot recieve
                any refund and the page of refund status shoes approx refund Rs 0 as
                of today.

                I tried to approach MakemyTrip but their repeated response was:
                We would like to share some information with you regarding the filing
                of TDR of your rail ticket is rejected by irctc because your journey
                date was Sat, 18 Jan 2014 and you have file tdr on 19 Jan 2014.

                Your help will be highly appreciated.

                    Makemytrip.com lacks even the basic level of customer service.rip A flight that I had booked through them on spicejet was cancelled and I was informed by the airline. As a result I called MakeMytrip to make alternate plans. Here is when the problem started: 1. Makemytrip had no idea about the cancellation and kept telling me my reservation was confirmed. 2. We had to do a conf call with the airline to prove to Makemytrip that the flight has been cancelled and that we needed alternate arrangement. this required multiple phone call and hours spent. 3. Finally when Makemytrip caught up with the situation, I was told that the situation needed to be escalated and that I would get a call back from the supervisor. 4. Call never came and when I called back I had to repeat all the above mentioned steps. THis time around I told the service rep to document all of these steps so that It is there on my account and if at all some one else is involved I wont have to repeat all of it. I was assured that all was documented and that again my call was being escalated to higher manager so that not only they can give me back up travel plan but also see what can be done for me for inconvenience caused to me so far. Once again I was promised a call back. 5. 12 hours later the call never came and when i called again.. sure enough we had to start at step 1 where the rep kept telling me that my reservation was confirmed and all was good. NO surprise that I had to repeat all of it again.. 6. I am on call with them for last 1+ hour for the 5th time and I still dont have a solution. They have 0 customer service, poor internal tracking methods, [poor documentation and to top it all, no accountability. I would like them to absorb a portion of the costs that I incurred in order to make alternate arrangements. This will be for the inconvenience caused because of the poorer than poor customer service by Make my trip.

                      I booked a trip to Hongkong with ID[protected] I paid extra Rs 6500 to include 1 way tram ride to the peak and madam tussads. After reaching there I was told it has not been booked by MMT& they refused to take me on these trips . They said sky 100 was included which I DID NOT book...infact when the itinerary was sent to me, I had specifically called MMT to ask about this discrepancy but was told everything was included in the same...where as when I reached hongkong, they said nothing was included, only sky 100 was included & that day sky 100 was closed so I did not get sky 100 also !! when they knew sky 100 was closed on Mondays why was it put on my itinerary on Monday in the first place ?? there was no night market included, the guide just dumped us at a dirty Indian restaurant & left.I was told the dinner will be at my hotel so there was no transportation problem where as in reality it was in some area far away from my hotel which has no public transport connectivity, I had to hunt for taxi at night in rain alongwith my son in an unknown place . also in the hongkong city tour repulse bay, aberdeen fishing village were not done as promised in the itinerary by MMT...the guide was extremely rude, she (Candice) had a big ugly showdown with all o[censored]s at the jewellery factory where she told all o[censored]s to leave the tour and go on our own. and all this after having paid the entire amount in full !!...I had to pay extra $300 to enter the Madam tussads & could not do peak tram at all . also I was never told there will be a deposit taken at the hotel, they took $ 2000 at the hotel on check in, even though I had fully paid for all services in advance which put me in a difficult situation as I did not know about this & had not catered for this deposit considering $ 2000 is not a small amount !! the tour was late EVERY SINGLE DAY, the guides were rude & unfriendly, the pick ups were scheduled in all different directions, wasting almost 3 hours daily in just pickups, Candice even made fun of people who could not understand her accent, all in all a bad experience . I want a refund of the extra money I paid for the madam tussads & peak tram ... I have mails confirming all my statements !!

                        I have booked tickets or the date 7nd aug, 14, 12th aug n 2 nov 14 from lucknow to pune amounting to 3736 inclusive ST, for which the payment option was selected as 0% EMI option from HDFC.I checked with HDFC bank as well as your customer care that the 10.7% charged which has be leived has to be refunded back from Make My Trip.Can you please do he earliest and confirm back

                          I recieved and email from make mytrip becuase i book a ticket round trip from abu dhabi to manila by philippine airlines an they said to the email that my flight being re scheduled and just find the scheduled below but nothing was being attached there, , its hard also to call to them because there is no telephone no/cel number to be contact in case of some information that we need...please just reply and give me a clear information regarding on it..                             i have a terrible experience with makemytrip international flight booking... first of all they promised in their site that the cancellation charges would be 1200 on the day of booking.. now i dont see the same promise to be kept.. i called the call center and talked to them for 1 1/2 hour to make them understand that i was shown 1200 for cancellation - they finally realised that there is some discrepancy and promised to call back within 4 hours.. there is no call back ... and when i called them back.. i am kept on hold for about half an hour now.. the call is handled by yathesh and rohit.. and they are not responding.. it is just kept on hold endlessly... my whole day is wasted on this follow up.. . i lost the opportunity of seeking other options also.. and still my concern is not resolved :(

I was promised to give an explaination whenever approached but in vain.. i still dont get any resolution and i lose the opportunity to get the reasonable fare plus advance notice time would be gone by the time i get their response..

                                Booking ID CA1401B4S000173 It has been 2 months since I have been calling and following up and I get excuses all the time. I found it it be very unprofessional that it's taking 8 weeks but still no progress to refund. There is no accountability to resolve my issues. I have waisted several hours chasing ppl at call centre but no result. Feels like i am dealing with a road side agency and not a company. I am very disappointed...

                                  I was booking holiday package for 4th July 2014 online but when they confirm my booking it shown departure date is 8th of June 2014 after 10 minutes of my online booking, right after i have send email to For any query regarding this package, please email us at [protected]@makemytrip.com but bounced back to my email. again i send email [protected]@makemytrip.co that also bounce back, I have filed online complaint but no response lastly tried calling their customer care they keep disconnecting and i have made 30 calls but non of agent talked to me all they just hang up.

                                  I have already paid I need to file a charge back if I don't get my complaint resolved by tomorrow.

                                    I am writing in Utter disgust and dismay that my Money has been debited a week back neither I got ticket nor money returned back. Your helpless customer care keeps on giving new Booking IDs for an UNBOOKED TICKET with latest one IN1405B8S074068. I seriously dunno where to seek help from and what shall I do with these booking IDS. Its very easy for you guys to say that money is lying in payment gateway, now tell why I can't talk directly from them if they are not returning back the money. My money and I only suffering coz neither you guys care enough to give me ticket nor money on time (that I can book on my ticket). Any one pls give the corporate office contact details either on fb or any where, I need urgently. Thanks But No Thanks

                                      I booked my flight from A, bad to Pune on 24th of Indigo Airlines through Makemytrip website.Flight was rescheduled by more than 2 hours so I cancelled that flight bcos its useless for me.Makemytrip refunded me on Rs. 849/- out of my booking Amt Rs. 2724.When i make complain to make mytrip they told that Indigo has refunded this much amt to them.When i go through Cancellation Policy of Indigo Airline's website I found that if flight is rescheduled for more than 2 or 3 hours (depending on journey time) company will either me full refund amount or book another flight at my convenience date.I m not satisfied with makemytrip customer support team as it is their duty to fight with Indigo Airline as we booked ticket through makemytrip website.

                                      We are sorry to read about the issue.

                                      In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with Airline again and found that Airline cancellation penalty is applicable on your booking because as per Indigo's schedule change policy, you flight was not delay by 3 hours. Please find the below Airline policy which is quoted on their website for your reference.

                                      " If an IndiGo flight is cancelled, rescheduled or delayed for more than three hours (depending on the length of the journey), a Customer shall have to right to choose a refund; or a credit for future travel on Indigo; or re-booking onto an alternative IndiGo flight at no additional cost (subject to availability); subject to the requirements under the local laws of the country in which the flight has been cancelled, rescheduled or delayed ".

                                      Please note that we will not be able to honor this case because cancellation penalty has been charged as per Airline policy. You are free to talk to Airline for any further assistance on the case.

                                        Booking id: NU2H[protected] Actually I booked a package for hotel and
                                        bus on 9th-april-2014 but due to technical error bus booking was not
                                        confirmed so I told for cancellation of hotel also because if I am not
                                        able to reach their then what is the use hotel booking. Later I got the
                                        refund for bus booking on 17th-april-2014 then I again talk me with
                                        costumer care for the hotel booking they told me wait sir you will get
                                        your refund on 19th-april-2014 I got the mail and sms for refund
                                        initiation from makemytrip stating that you will get
                                        your refund in between 3-7 days. But till yesterday on 29-April-2014 I
                                        haven’t got the refund. Then again I talked with costumer so on
                                        yesterday’s evening when I talked with them costumer care is telling
                                        that we haven’t initiated your refund and costumer care is accepting
                                        that which message you got is fake message from makemytrip for refund.
                                        So sir kindly see the issue since early I am using makemytrip but this
                                        scenario is trust breaking. Please solve my problem.
                                        and after talking with costumer care they are showing me receipt of refund of bus booking 5880.
                                        so kindly solve the problem. every time they are telling we will return you within 24 hr and nothing they are doing. kindly tell them to return the refund of 5756 of hotel booking. now it is more then 1 month.
