Hi, i had booked a hotel via makemytrip on 20th february 2014 for hotel broadway annexe in darjeeling for 21.2.2014 till 24.02.2014. the booking i.d is "IN1402B5S097501". I have paid INR"2673/-" I went to the hotel and found that the mentioned and committed amenitites were not provided to me in the hotel and the makemytrip website shoed wrong nformation about the amenities of the hotel which their executive manik roda also confirmed that i will get a room heater which is included in the price but the hotel people were charging extra for it. since then i had a word with 3 senior executives of makemytrip and all of them accepted their mistakes.they even refused that the amenities are not mentioned in the site for which i had a screenshot and they do have a moneyback guarantee policy if the amenities mentioned are not provided to the customer. Now every three days they are sending me mails just to ask for more days to investigate and it has been around 15 days since i have been sending them mails and calling them. they committed me when i was in darjeeling thaat they will call me but noone ever called me up. they are just sending apology mails every other day to me.they are telling me since 22nd february that their BDM and their nodal and escalation team knows about it but no one gets back to me with a resolution. i got a mail 5 days ago which said that i will get a resolution by 4th march but yesterday i got another mail asking for 3 more days and i replied that i will file a complaint but noone is replying me since then. I have all there e mails where they have accepted their mistake and they do have accepted it on phone calls as well whose details i have given to make my trip long time back.though the amenities were available in the hotel but we did not got them. The company has a full refund policy if the amenities mentioned in the website are not provided in the hotel. I want each and every penny back and also a compensation for ruining my trip and for not providing any after sale service and harrasing a customer by providing faulty information and deceiving customer even for customer support.

    On 25th feb 2014. I made flight booking for Mumbai to Delhi scheduled for the date 19th June and a return ticket for 21st June from Delhi to Mumbai. I had selected a Go Air flight scheduled for 9;45 Hrs 19th June for the onwards journey and a Indigo Flight for return joruney scheduled for 14:25 Hrs. After selecting the flights i moved onto the next page where it clearly displayed the selections i had made and asked if wanted to avail any discount offer. I moved ahead and finally made the payment. Once the payment was done successfully and amount debited from my account. I recieved a email and SMS from make my trip. To my horror the tickets said that I ahd been booked a Spice Jet flight scheduled 5:55am in the morning on 19th and the return flight which said 5:55 am from delhi on 21st june. I called up the customer care the very next moment and informed them about the mistake made. The guy Mr. Alam Khan said that the company would get back with a resoultion in 72 hrs. 72 Hrs later i had recieved no calll Yet. Realising nobody called back. I again made a call to makemytrip sites mentioned customer care tollfree number. Whihc was recieved by a certain Individual Nitika Chauhan. She listned to my complaint and put me on hold saying that she will check in her system if it was a mistake from their end or my end. Several minutes later. She put me off hold and told me the exact selections that i had made i was relieved. I then asked her whether they would refund the money or book the correct tickets. To which she put me on hold again and when she came back again this time. She bluntly told me that its your mistake and not servers. I was stunned i confronted her and told her that moments ago it was she who gave me the exact selections which she bluntly denied. I asked her to make me talk to her superviser to which she put me on hold again and later said somebody will call you within 6 hrs. I waited for 6 hrs and then a day. After that i called them several times for the same complaint but they have been dodging me saying that i will recieve a call in 6 hrs or in the morning. Neither do i recieve a call nor do i know what to do. Now my money is stuck i have wrong booking and i cant even book new flights since its the month end and all my moentary resources are drained..

    I do not think you people value your customers. Nor do you care to fulfill your promises. This is the 7th similar reply where you have 'sincerly apologised' in past 8 days though i have got not a single reply or call that resolves my problems. A fake site. Anyways i have learned my lesson. I wanted to get a ladakh tour booked from your site for June. But its better to suffer now then later.

    This is a a complete fraud. Answer me one thing if i had selected a particular set of flights. Why would your site automatically change it to some other selections and then ask for the confirmation. This is one big scandal so that you can earn extra bucks by first getting the customer to wrongfully book some other flights and later when he realises he has been booked wrong flights he ends up cancelling it or changing it to some other flight time consequently you people earn the cancellation fee of the customer. i had always trusted make my trip expecting it to be a hassle free medium to book tickets. But now i am sure about the fraud you people are. I am gonna move to consumer court and make sure i get paid or the lost money and the mental ordeal i have gone through. Wha did i ask for.. Just that i be booked the correct tickets ? You coudnt care less about you customer

      Hi, Actually I tried to do a International booking. A money of 18000 was deducted from my account and due to network failure, I did not got redirected to makemytrip site. I had even sent the bank statement with transaction reference number.Please refund my amount as early as possible.I don't have enough extra money to go for a new booking.         Hi Sir/Madam, I have booked a bus ticket via makemytrip from bhopal to pune of 1 feb 2014. when i tried booking first time transaction got successful and also my money got deducted(1400/- INR). But while returning it showed an error that sorry due to technical error can't book your ticket. i thought as its technical error so money is safe, it will be refunded like it use to happen with other travel site irctc and redbus etc. again i tried, again money got deducted but still same problem occurred. After sometime i got 2 mails stating that i have booked two tickets and both are confirmed. I talked to customer care of makemytrip, they said madam there is some technical problem so it happened. He has raised a complaint against one ticket as i wanted only one so he has confirmed one and for one he raised complaint and told to wait for 7 seven days to refund my 1400(which is obviously not a small amount to donate.) IN1401R4S19C711- complaint reference id please note. After that again i tried calling but no response, they said sorry mam for the delay but still its pending.Again they said it can't be refunded. What is this. I don't have patience to call again and again and explain all the story. Please help me out they are not listening.           I have booked a ticket from delhi to hyderabad on 9 th feb 2014 (spicejet) and after entering all details at the end of transactions it showed that there was some error .I got message on my cell saying that money will be refunded in 2 business days but I did not get back ...and no response on calling up to the customer care.See to it that money is refunded back at the earliest possible...

            I bought Qatar Airways ticket to travel from USA to India with an understanding that two bags are allowed. While traveling out o[censored]SA there was no problem but while returning the airline did not allow me to carry the same bags without paying for extra bag. They told me that reservation had entered only 1 bag so Qatar would not give me boarding pass without paying extra $125 + taxes totalling $131. I researched and found that this company is not following general guidelines of all travel agents and IATA in issuing e-ticket. It must show baggage allowance so passengers are not put in surprise and a lot of frustration at the time of starting long journey. Their website mentions two bags, the airline itself allows two bags but still some of the reservations are done according to the US domestic airline rules limiting to one bag. The company does not make this clear as one buys ticket. The customer service is pure careless. I found that I'm not the only one experienced this problem and others are joining this to fight against misleading passengers. My advice, please check or buy from phone agent only and NEVER on their website.

              I have been trying to book a bus ticket for the last 3 days on MMT. Due technical glitches from MMT I wasnt able to do the same. The customer care number is also unresponsive. Got a call back from some Shivam guy from MMT. He sent me a payment link. After the payment of 2404 INR. I haven't received the ticket nor is Shivam Answering the phone. Booking id: IN1402B5S038828. Complaint Reference ID[protected]. Shivam's contact number:[protected]. I really surprised how MMT can make online booking such an impossible task. Pathetic customer experience.

                  The agency is cheating me by not giving my Refund.. Every time I call they put me on hold for hours and give answer as someone will get back me but I don't find any response proper so far. its more than 40 days and being an US Citizen I am really feeling helpless and cheated and I would like to goto US consulate and want to produce this case. If you do not respond I am going to go for compensation too

The refund is delayed by almost 2 months. There have been no updates on this and MakeMyTrip does not bother to tell me exact status.                       I had booked 5 bus tickets thro' make my trip from Chennai for 6th January 2014 from Pune to Shirdi and paid on line on 27th December 2013. One day before I received a call from the bus operator that the bus is cancelled and I had to take a taxi from Pune Airport to Shirdi paying Rs.4, 100.00. After several follow-ups i got a ridiculous refund of Rs.300/- whereas it should have been around Rs.2, 500/-. My mails have not proven effective. Can anyone do something about this. Is this how Make my trip makes money? Is there anything we can do to prevent such dubious tour operators? I am fed up and hoping to see a solution somehow. Ganesh Narayanan

                        Horrible bella express at pattaya.



                        I have booked thailand holiday from make my trip, and

                        Back i returned back from thailand.



                        My experience with the hotel bella express at pattaya, is
                        Horrible, it is rated as 3 star by make
                        My trip, but we really believe it is not
                        Fit to rate as even single star. Rooms r
                        Very very small and they have accommodated 3 persons in a single room.





                        The staff r very misbehaved and rude, especially a big fat
                        Arrogant reciptionist is speak to the customers very arrogently.



                        But hotel howard square place is good and up to standard.
                        This is one good thing happened in the tour.

                        My sincere advice to the make my trip is, just drop this hotel from booking further.
                        Pathetic services by make mytrip..

                          When we book holiday package the main intention is not to take unnecessary botheration of booking tickets following up with hotels and stuffs, but it seams that I chose a wrong organization. After booking a 3nights 4days Thailand Package with MakeMyTrip.com, I think I have wasted my money. They haven't provided with a receipt till now. Their back-end process is the worst in the industry. Try calling to the call center they will say they can't do anything. Poor chaps are paid to get scolding, they are basically punch bags, where customers take out the frustration of being kept in dark. When you plan your holiday in 3 months advance, you expect the agents to take care of the bookings and all well in advance. I don't have a confirmation of itinerary, neither have the booking details of the Hotels. All that you say over call is of no value. You are really giving sleepless nights, if this is the process then you should have informed me, so that I won't have gone for the booking. It seems like MakeMytrip.com has the worst standards and process when it comes to executing a travel booking. You have repeatedly made false claims and promises of call back, intimation mails and booking receipt. I would request MakeMyTrip.com to please direct your incompetent back-end team to stop harassing me and send the details of the booking. I request all the viewers to stop booking any tickets from MakeMyTrip.com if you want your vacation to be smooth and comfortable and according to the plan.

                            Respected sir, I have booked a ticket buy http://www.makemytrip.com/ online and when I reached to station they told that their bus was cancelled and that your money will be transferred to your account but I called them many times by emails and by phone they also said that it takes time to refund but I tried for one month and they did not refund. NU[protected] this was my transaction id and XLKO[protected] this was my ticket no.. I have also that ticket and complaint receipt that i have complaint two months earlier..

                              I booked a ticket through net makemytrip for Mrs.GIRIJA MENON on 23.01.2014around 23.00hrs. from MUMBAI to CHENNAI for 14.04.2014 departing at 12.30 hrs. . After going through all formalities of net banking at the end i get an information that booking could not been done but at the same time I get an information on my mobile that an amount of Rs.2962.00 has been deducted from my Account.The mobile says debited by Rs. 2962.00 for CITRUS-[protected]/MAKEMYTRIP [protected]/Thru Net Banking-ref.[protected]/01/2014 23.14 Indian Bank. I would be very thankful if the above amount be refunded back to my Account at the earliest as the ticket has not been booked. I would like to bring to your notice that next day 23/01/2014 a booked another ticket for the above person for same date by Spicjet departing at 11.00 hrs and it was booked.                                 I was supposed to fly from Cochin to Bangalore on 8th Jan 2014 morning by Spicejet - Spice SG245 (Cochin to Bangalore). I had booked the ticket through make mytrip (http://www.makemytrip.com/, MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF[protected] & eticket no AYVV4X).

                                Since I was taken ill and couldn’t make to airport in time, I couldn’t take the flight and had requested Spice to cancel ticket bearing Airline PNR AYVV4X and asked for refund. Later vide Reference: CR/278836/2014, Spice had informed that as per SpiceJet’s policy the amount on a No Show ticket is forfeited and only the unused taxes are refundable. They further informed that they have refunded the amount of Rs 225 paid towards the passenger service fee to the agency account.

                                Since no refund was forthcoming I took it up with make mytrip they have now informed vide Subject:Reference ID: [[protected]] NF[protected] that

                                “As per our concern team refund received from airline is INR 225/- only. Also, INR 500/- is makemytrip fee. Therefore, we will not be able to process the refund for this booking ID. We apologize for the inconvenience caused”

                                I don’t know how they can appropriate refund due to me.They had already taken teir due at the time of booking. This amount wouldn’t have gone to them had I flied.

                                Hope you would intervene and get me my rightful refund.

                                  I had booked Unique Swiss package (Switzerland and France) for my honeymoon almost 3 months in advances. I booked it on 15th of December 2013. I paid booking fees of (Rs.78, 000) immeditely on the same date and assured by makemytrip that my file will be processed by operation team within next 2 days and they will call and inform whatever information required for schengen visa and other formalities. But no call or emails from them in next 1 months.

                                  In my case, I am working in Oman and going back to india permanently in last week of January. All these information has been already provided to makemytrip while booking this package.

                                  After following up with them for 10-15 times, I finaly got call from them after one month (on 15th January) and to my shock, I have been informed that I have to apply for visa from Oman itself as per schengen visa rule.Now my stay in Oman is less than one 10 days and my company has already been in the process of cancelling my local visa, Its impossible for me to apply for schengen visa from Oman.

                                  Now even if I apply for swiss embassy in India for visa, I am not sure whether I will get visa or not. Further makemytrip has shared their policy with me that if visa not provided by embassy for any reason, then they will cancel 100% my booking fees.
                                  I don’t understand where is my fault here and why I have to suffer? Things would have been different if they would have informed me long time back when I booked this package and visa will be with me by now.

                                  I have asked for refund of booking fees one week back and still not getting any proper reply from them. They are avoiding my call and not replying to my emails. This is harrassment from makemytrip after they spoiled my well planned travel plans. Makemytrip is fraud company and cheaters. They want to pocket my booking fees and deliberatley delayed all the formalities for my visa processing.

                                    I am captain rohan khisti from pune . I had got my honeymoon booking done through make my trip to kerala from 03 jan 2014 to 8th jan 2014 . The initial stay at munnar thekady and allepey was good . Then we arrived in kovalam and we were shocked to see the hotel which was given to us . We reached there at 12 pm on 7th jan and we were made to sit in the hotel till 2.30 . At 2.30 we were told that the rooms are not vacant and we will have to wait for another 2 hours . We immediately contacted your travel advisor ms ekta . She didnt respond to our complain . Then we got a call from your delhi office and i spoke with ms pooja . Instead of solving my problem she connected my call to the hotel manager . She just got away with my complain by connecting the my cal, to the hotel manager .I had to fight with him .In between all this me and my wife were standing at the hotel . At 4.30 pm also the rooms were not ready . I had to spent a day in kovalam and my 7th of jan kovalam tour was totally spoilt and we ended up spending time in the hotel parking .In all this when i was trying to call mrs ekta and ms pooja they were very rude to me and were just trying to get away with the complaints
                                    Thats when i decided to get it written from the hotel staff. I got it written from the manager that there is no availability of rooms and finally we checked in another hotel spending 8000 extra . The response of your team was very poor and i am really dissatisfied with make my trip.
                                    I called up ms ekta on 11th of jan . She informed that she is on leave and will get back to me once she joins on 13th jan . But i never received a call from her . I have all the call proofs and will attach it if necessary . At present i am attaching the written copy of the manager saying the rooms were not available and a photo of him signing the same .
                                    I request you to look into my grievance and take the necessary action and i also request to get the money of the hotel refunded as soon as possible .

                                      We have booked a package Trip of Delhi-Manali-Shimla-Delhi where we will be celebrating our New Year Eve in Shimla confirmed hotel booking by MakeMyTrip. When we arrived at Shimla on 31st Night there was no Hotel bookings made by MakeMyTrip. As we had the Hotel booking confirmation voucher by MakeMyTrip but Hotelier did not entertained this as they did not get any information from MakeMyTrip.
                                      We were 2500km away from my hometown not knowing where to go and whom to approach? We were wandering in the cold chilled night with a kid looking out for an accommodation to spend that night. We were fully tired after 10 hours’ drive from Manali to Shimla and MakeMyTrip made us to wander in the ice cold windy night with kid asking for food. There was no support given by MakeMyTrip to us and we were all alone on the lonely roads in the night. Shimla was fully packed that night due to New Year Eve and we could not get accommodation anywhere. We got hold of a broker and somehow got a hotel to stay 30km away from Shimla. They did not give any written bill or any other facilities than just to spend the night.
                                      The worst part is MakeMyTrip denies to refund the amount what I beared on that night to get that Hotel.

                                      Don't ever rely on MakeMyTrip for any Holiday bookings. Don't believe on MakeMyTrip for your Hotel bookings and travel. Have a plan B. Best avoid MakeMyTrip. You don't know what pain we have gone through that night where all others are enjoying the New Year party.

                                      I have approached so many people below and I found there are few heartless people who does not know the the pain you go through when you are harassed or tortured.                                         Had booked round trip ticket on Makemytrip.com. wanted to cancel the return leg Cancelled the return leg with Airline basis instruction from Makemytrip Have been following up for past 2 weeks but not refunding the amount. Also on website the refund amount is showing as cancellation charges and vice versa. Refund was to be processed on the 14th but has still not happened. Every time i call customer care they say they have escalated to their team and the processing will happen in 4 days. I am being taken for a ride
