I had worst experience with MMT, i have booked hotel on 2 dec 2013, and i cancelled it on 3rd dec 13 due to cancelled my trip, still i did't receive my refund amount.. i don;t know what they are doing... if asked their costumer care they are telling your amount has been refunded, but still i did't received it.. and they given one RRN to refer the bank, i asked that too, but no use, my bank saying that no transaction happened between this...     I am staying in US for sometime and I booked round trip tickets through travel agent for my family to travel India. For several reasons(Bad weather, child health, traffic jam etc..) i couldn't make it to airport on time. This can happen to anyone. I called my agent and requested for next available date to travel and ready to pay penalty and fare difference. Agent says that dates cant be changed after no show and also money is not refundable. I am not asking not to refund the ticket/Money, I am requesting for date change. I don't see "Date change is not possible after no show" in any form of agent communication during ticket booking. Agent knows that i am not informed about it. Agent claims that British airways is not changing the dates so i cant do it. I don;t know what is going on there.. I am not able to talk to British airways for the same reason because they are asking agent code to proceed further and asking me to contact Agent for any information. I requested Agent a lot and spend lot of time, but agent is not ready to help in any ways. I paid $3000+ for round ticket.Now i am not able to change travel dates and can't make use of the return ticket as well. I have seen the similar situations before with my friends and many others. No one had the similar issue, Somehow everyone had got different travel date with their agents or airlines.My friends are surprised to know my situation and the way makemytrip is responding. I would like to complain about MakeMyTrip cheating the customers. I can provide necessary proofs..

      Our family had planned a holiday trip in August and accordingly made Bookings right through and through including Air, Hotels and Transport. Our journey was to begin on 28th Dec’13 with our flight to Ahmadabad for which a confirmed E-ticket was issued by MMT after FULL payment was received by them. Last month to my horror I discovered that the flight for which I am holding the ticket does not exist and I am left holding a bogus / fake ticket issued by MMT. Mind you MMT was not even aware of the mess-up till I contacted them with my problem. The matter was highlighted to MMT Customer Complaint department and even till date they have not been able to tell me who owns the responsibility of my situation. Have spoken with at least 6 people in MMT and none of them is able to tell me the reason, except shifting the blame on Airlines. Adding fuel to the fire, they are so insensitive, and have no respect or understanding of the importance of the TIME and DATE. Being a Travel Agency, it is expected of them to understand the importance of travel arrangement made by any one 4 months in advance with full payment. Any shifting of Time and Date of Travel will lead to rippling effect on all further bookings of travel and stay. Can anyone suggest a remedy to MMT ‘s conduct

        I have booked a ticket from “Calicut” to “Qatar (Doha)” for my friend Mr. Baiju Thayyulathil using my HDFC credit card through makemytrip .com by online. The ticket was booked through the help of “makemytrip .com” representative and she gave me a booking ID (IN1311B2S101967) and through that I have paid the money via my credit card. During the initial discussion she didn’t say anything about “non-refundable” ticket. I have approached Make my trip team to cancel the ticket due to some personal reason and they said it the amount can’t be returned and after the long discussion and he said to me that “if the first representative is not said you that this is a non-refundable ticket then we will refund the amount after our quality team analyze the audio conversation with you and our representative” on Monday 2nd December 2013 I have received call from another representative and she said they are ready to refund the amount. Yesterday I have received an email with details and the refund amount was only 1, 702 and the total amount was 9, 902. This is really a clear case of cheating people.         I have received a call from one person who introduced that he is from makemytrip.com and his name is "Kumar". and he said makemytrip.com is ready to refund the amount to my account and he was seeking for my card number and i have given my card number, the second question for CVV number and expiry date. I think 99% is a fraud call if any makemytrip.com guys can reply on this and that will be appreciated.

          I booked return flight through make my trip for the kingfisher airlines as mentioned below, however we could not complete the travel as kingfisher was banned to fly or work. when I called make my trip they said that since kingfisher is not resuming their flights, I can cancel the tickets and i will get a refund. so I cancelled the ticker on the phone and was given the following information: Cancellation Date : 22 Nov '12, 13:03 hrs Ref No: IN1211R0093809 Cancellation Penalty: Rs. 0 Refund Amount: Rs. 6039 I have called approximately 50 times and wasted my money and time on the phone just to hear that they are in the process of my refund, now its more than a year that they have been promising me the same thing however my hard earned money has not been refunded yet. lately I have been hearing and seeing this in news paper that Yatra.com, IRCTC, & makemytrip.com are refunding the money but in my case they have not yet. I do not know why are they treating me so bad as a customer even though I have been a frequent customer but now they are leaving a really worst taste in the customer's mouth.             I had booked a cab on 02 Nov, to drop me at Airport, Delhi (MMT booking ID NC[protected]). They had send me a cab. But taxi driver has driven to railway station, Delhi. I had said him to drop me at airport. He had refused & abused me. I was with my family at the time. It was 4:30 am in morning. I had called MMT customer care and put a complaint. MMT executive had suggested me to go to airport and pay full payment. They had told me that I have to pay full payment including extra miles which cab had driven. He told me that they will be refund that extra money. I am getting late so I had put that complaint and go to airport. I had paid the full amount to cab driver. I had also said him for invoice but he has refused. Any one from MMT had not contacted me after this. I had made a written complaint and emailed to cab provider/MMT. Now MMT had contacted me but refused to refund my extra money because they are saying we are not cab owner. They are also saying that cab vendor are not in touch. MMT asking me for the bill, which their cab driver had not given to me. I am very puzzled and request you all to not use MMT services.

            I had already contacted MMT several times, but WORTHLESS. I am pasting some comments below made by MMT on facebook page -

            MakeMyTrip.com: Hi Dhiraj, We have checked the information and we have already asked you to provide us the bill/receipt for the payment you made to the driver directly. We have no issues in refunding you the extra amount you paid to driver, however we will not be able to initiate any refund without the proof of payment.Unfortunately without the same we cannot process the refund.

            Dhiraj Kumar: Please collect the invoice copy from your cab Driver. I think this is very easy for you. I have already informed about your driver's behavior. I had reached at airport about 1 hour delay. When I was in wrong way, I had complained to your customer care two times. Your cab Driver had stoped car near Delhi railway station. I had informed your customer care executive and he told me to pay full amount . Extra will be refunded! Now please contact your cab Driver… collect the invoice copy and refund me the extra amount… that's it.

            MakeMyTrip.com: Hi Dhiraj, We would not be able to refund the money without the invoice/receipt.

            Dhiraj Kumar: Why you don't collect that Bill copy with your cab Driver? It is easy to check my payments. Please check the receipt copy of your cab Driver.

            MakeMyTrip.com: Hi Dhiraj, We would only entertain the copy received from the customer not from the driver. If you can provide the same, we would be able to process the credit.

            Dhiraj Kumar: No issue, I am arranging the bill and provide you here very soon. I have already contacted your cab Driver Md Moin Ph# [protected] cab number - DL-01-RT-2373. I will show you Bill. If you want more then I can also show cctv footage @ airport where he has dropped me, my call locations where he had driven & recorded voice of your customer care executive in consumer court.

              Hi All, There was a very important function that we have to attend in Singapore on Nov 18th 2013. I booked the ticket in Srilankan Airlines, for Nov 15th 2013 @ 8:55 PM from bangaore and made the payment in 2 installments and got the ticket confirmed. Since our Visa was not yet approved at the time, We contacted MakeMyTrip customer service, to confirm the cut off time to cancel the ticket without NO SURE penalty. A guy named Asish confirmed that we can cancel the ticket before 6 hours, without any penalty, but still we will have the regular cancellation charges. Unfortunately our Visa, which we expected to get it approved without any problem got rejected at 2:15 PM. Once there was no other option we tried contacting MakeMyTrip customer service at 2:20 PM. By the 6 hours rule we were still in the safe zone. But the execute Prashanth who addressed us, informed that we have to cancel the ticket before 12 hours and not 6 hours. We were shocked to hear that and asked him to check with the team to confirm this and also I informed him about the previous call. He put us on hold for a long time to discuss with the Airlines directly. Whenever he retrieved my call I was begging him regarding that the time is very less for us to cancel the ticket without penalty. But he kept on saying that if that is 6 hours, there wont be any penalty. Also he said that HE will make sure he will update their log to say that we have contacted @ 2:20PM to cancel the ticket. He confirmed that it is 6 hours @ 2:55PM and also another big thing 'OUR SYSTEM IS DOWN' and they cannot cancel the ticket. The options he gave were, 1. Cancel it directly thru Srilankan Air lines 2. Call them back after 2 hours to cancel the ticket. Anyways, he promised that there wont be any NO SURE penalty as he has updated his system perfectly with all the details. Since not to take chances in wasting time, I called the airlines and cancelled the tickets First mistake o[censored]s was to select - make my trip and the second worst mistake was we believed them. Believing them we were waiting for the refund to be processed. for 2 days we were waiting for their update and since there were no update, we called them back and got the shocking news... that the penalty will be applicable. The person who attended our call, didnt even know what happened. The best thing here is the ticket is not even cancelled. We said all the stories in details and that person said it has been escalated to address it immediately. Till then, every 2 days, I have been talking to as many executives as possible. Finally today having no response, I called them again, Preeth from MakeMyTrip customer service was talking like a police officer, saying that 1. We have all the details. 2. You called twice, why didnt you cancel the ticket thru airlines after the first call 3. We have to doubt your statement. 4. System status was informed in the first call itself - Which is a very big lie that they them self can easily verify. But they will not do it. Again I have to talk to another person to get this addressed. She said that she has escalated and it will be addressed in 48 hours... and the story continues.. MakeMyTrip - Please understand.. This is money we are talking about. hard earned money. And the last thing that your service person or the team had to touch is Customers self esteem... your person is saying that I am lying to get my money back... Really feeling bad to chose MakeMyTrip.. Sorry to hurt your feelings... but its the bitter truth... Accept it..

                I have taken as PRIORITY PARTNER of MakeMyTrip.com by paying a amount of Rs. 50000. My affiliate id AFF09684, I got a mail that if i don't make a transaction of rs. 5 lakhs, Priority partner will be withdrawn on 28 feb-2013. I agreed with the suspension of Priority Partner, but they have stated me earlier that, though suspension of priority partner has being suspense i can continue as a regional travel agencies with the company. but after few days they have fully deactivate my affiliate log inn id. And before i make a partnership with them, we have an agreement with a affidavit that it was for 2 year, But they suspended before the time after just the completion of 1 year. The company has totally cheated me with a fault promises. so once i give a complaint to the authority they refund me back Rs. 25000 on dated 6-March-2013, , but i want full refund back my money of rs. 50, 000. Because they have suspended within the time of 1year of a agreement made between the company and me. Please resolved it.

                Dear Sir, My affiliate id AFF09684, its being 7/8 months
                after the suspension of Priority Partner/Agencies, the company has refunded
                me back Rs. 25000 on dated 6 March-2013, my office were forcefully shut
                down by the company. Yes on the first place i ask re-reimbursement of Rs.
                25000 but i have my full right to claim back my money as the company
                disowned the agreement made between the both side or cheated me. Which the
                company and I myself had an agreement for 2 years was totally fall me into
                trap. I should say the company cheated me. Where is the agreement being
                made? Where are the company policies? It's all a trap and fooling the
                customer like me to go into it. So look into the matter
                again and Please refund my left out amount of Rs. 25000 ASAP and closed my
                complaint.

                  Hi, I have booked out flight ticket using MakeMyTrip.Following is the details. 1) Invoice No : NF[protected] 2) Service Tax No : AADCM5146RST006 3) Booking Date: Sunday, 30th, September 2012. 4) MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF[protected] 5) Reservation Details - Provider - Kingfisher : IT-182 - Departure : Mumbai - Arrival : Chandigarh - Journey Date : 15th, December 2012. - Type : Refundable Fare - Total Amount - Rs 5686 - E-Ticket No [protected] [protected] That flight was cancelled due to Kingfisher Crisis. We communicate lots of time with MakeMyTrip Customer Care but did not get sufficient answer every time. They replied that they can refund only if they get refund from Kingfisher. Now Its almost 1 year and 2 months and still i did not get any refund from MakeMyTrip. I wanted my hard earned money back. I am looking for a favorable reply.                     Terrible service by Make my trip.com. I have been following up for almost a year now, then I gave up. Its a simple issue. I had booked a Goa trip on my HSBC or Kotal credit card through them a year back and I was promised a 5% cash back on the payment that I had ode made for about 55, 000. Then the guy told me that he had put a wrong code, I should separately call back and I will get the money credited. From then multiple calls, emails, tweet to the CEO, nothing has worked... they seem cruel in dealing with such a simple issue. Probably not important for them.                       I have booked a flight ticket with makemytrip MakeMyTrip Booking ID: FLT[protected] Lucknow - Jammu | Travel Date: Thu, 10 Jun' 10 I got a sms from airline that due to some reason this flight is cancelled at airline end then I talk to MakemyTrip Executive about the scenario, Executive confirmed that the flight is cancelled. Then Executive suggested me to you can canceled your ticket and your all money will be revert back to your account without any Cancellation Penalty so i asked him for the same. But after cancellation by the executive, MakeMytrip opposed me Cancellation Penalty of INR 1500, While my whole money should be reverted back because flight is not cancelled by me . For this Issue I talked to hundreds of Makemytrip Executive they were not give any satisfactory answer except they escalate the issue, after many escalation this issue is still open This is Normal scenario for a travel domain provider so why no provision for this issue. Then how Makemytrip can say publically that it is no 1 travel site in India. after 3 years of talking to Executives, still i have not got my money.                         Hi, I have booked 5 tickets from Jammu to Delhi (booking id NF[protected] on 31st Aug'13, later on i have canceled 2 tickets out of 5 on 7th Sep'13. But when refund received at my account I have checked that only one ticket amount received after all their deduction (1000 airline charge + 250 make my trip charge). I have complained several times to customer service by mails as well on calls but every time received single reply "WE WILL REVERT YOU IN 2-3 WORKING DAYS" but that day never came. This is not about the money anymore, I am ready to put written complaint in Indian consumer court. I just want to teach a good lesson to them "what is customer service?" Rgds Sujib Dey

                          Flight for HYD PONDY under PNR V3WRXI was cancelled by airline. Spicejet has already processed an amount of Rs 4592 towards refund to MMT, however same has not been credited to my account. The online status of the booking id NF[protected] on make my trip site shows as " No refund due". Have been following up for last 7 days with MMT; however there is no response from them.

                            I booked return tickets for my family of 6 from Mumbai to Jaipur travel commencing on 16th November, 2013 and returning on 18th November, 2013. I cancelled one ticket for Mr. Kunal Dalmia for the 18th November from Jaipur to Mumbai through the phone application. When I checked my email, I got a notification that ticket for Mr. Ajay Dalmia was cancelled. When I check my phone application, it is correctly showing that ticket was indeed cancelled for Mr. Kunal. I have lodged complaint with makemytrip and the response I have got is "the cancellation done for passenger Ajay Dalmia so accordingly cancellation done in system" I have attached screenshot from my phone app. Please help otherwise I will have to bear the cost of booking a new ticket for Mr. Ajay Dalmia and the price of the tickets have increased manifold since I made the original booking.                               I Booked a Bus ticket on 15th Aug 2013 . Mistakenly I selected current date and booked ticket but after confirmation page I got to know about wrong day booking so requested to customer care to cancel my ticket. Person who attended my call told me that we can't provide any alternative day ticket but we can cancel and remaining (50%) amount will be credited in your account within 3 working days. after 2 days I called them again but they told me now we can't cancel ticket as date has been passed but my concern was - I already requested for cancellation and now instead of my remaining amount you are suggesting me to cancel ticket before journey date. I already communicated to them on same day when I booked the ticket. They suggested me to register complaint but even after I didn't back any update till last month.Please help if you can do anything for me.

                                I have booked a hotel in Puri through Make my trip on Dt 5th Oct 2013. I have booked his amount through my SBI internate booking. The amount has been debited from my account. But my booking could not confirmed as informed by make my trip as money has not been transferred by my SBI. I also lodge a complaint a complaint in SBI and came to know that the money has transferred to make my trip by SBI on Dt 13th Oct where make my trip is denying the fact.                                   I had the worst experience with MakeMyTrip. I made a hotel booking on 7th Oct and it was confirmed. But 3 days before my trip, I spoke to the hotel people and they said they never received any booking confirmation from MakeMyTrip. So then, when I spoke to MakeMyTrip, I was told that the hotel is sold out and they are arranging alternate accommodation. Had I not called the hotel myself, I would have never realized that MakeMyTrip has not transferred my booking confirmation to the hotel and it would have been a disaster if I had reached the hotel per my schedule. I spent more than 9 hrs on phone talking to MakeMyTrip customer care to resolve this issue and it was extremely bitter experience. I would always get transferred to some extension and my call would get disconnected. Why did MakeMyTrip book my reservation and also made me pay full payment upfront. I was told that the booking is confirmed. However, they did not pass on the booking details to respective hotel. And later I was told that the hotel is sold out for given date. How the hell I was told that there is plenty of place at the time of booking and also made me pay the full payment and later the hotel went sold out ?? I really don’t understand what is the booking policy of MakeMyTrip. It seems that MakeMyTrip doesn’t even bother checking for room availability while making a booking. They blindly do the booking and later say that we are arranging alternate accommodation. And the customer is left burning. Besides, the alternate accommodation that I was offered was cheaper than what I had booked an and the person on the phone (Ishaan) was talking to me as if they are doing a favor to me by arranging alternate accommodation. This whole ordeal could have been avoided. I booked my ticket on the phone with MakeMyTrip employee Ishteyaque Alam (Ishteyaque.[protected]@makemytrip.com). I asked him 3-4 times on the phone whether rooms are available and he said there are 3 room available and he forced me to book it on the phone and told me that don’t book online. Ishteyaque lied to me on the phone. I listened to him and did the booking and then how 3 days down the line hotel was sold out and my booking was no good? Ishteyaque.[protected]@makemytrip.com << this guy led to entire disaster with I canceling my booking as MakeMyTrip was just freaking useless in handling customer. Sick customer service. I was always promised a callback in 10 minutes and no one would ever call me back even after 12 hrs. Below is the list of people I spoke to during this ordeal and they were all bluffing: Ishteyaque Alam (x3579) Rajeev Sharma (x3840) Sachin (3877) Raghvendra Shinoy (+91 [protected]) Ishaan (+91 [protected]) And all of above folks were just trying to get rid of me on the phone. I had to cancel my booking finally as there was no confirm word from MakeMyTrip was given. I really want people like Ishteyaque Alam be taught not to lie on the phone. This is a serious misbehavior being in service industry. He is the one who started this whole issue. He could have told me on phone that the hotel is sold out and I would have looked other places. The end result is I had to cancel my long weekend plans which I had been looking forward to for more than 2 months. There was no mistake of mine but MakeMyTrip’s pathetic service screwed my long weekend plan. This is my bookingID: IN1310B1S041173 ..and I am still waiting for the refund. -Dheeraj.

                                    no refund given by make my trip, the gizmo shown on portal are only to attract and make money by looting innocent people. Sir, I have booked a tour to Dubai online NL[protected]. I have paid rs. 5000/-14329/-19329/-=38658/- being single >>>. where the cost for two was 27000/- per person twin sharing basis . ok After landing at dubai, the services shown on portal was not served on me. After coming home I lodged the following complaint: sorry to say i have no words to explain the experience at Dubai as there no coordination from make my trip. i landed at airport where i contacted the travel agency and show the doc they transfer me at hotel very good, next day no one turn at hotel to carry me for sightseeing as per itenary, i contacted the the person mentioned in hotel voucher but no response from other end. i also try to contact u but same fate . i have hired a taxi for sight seeing . next day a mini bus came to carry other passengers i request him that i m also from make my trip he straightly refused saying sir, you are not booked and not in my list sorry i can not carry u. then again i hired a taxi and went to Dhow cruise and back to hotel, the third day 12 noon i check out hotel and put my luggage in clock room and went for shopping in the evening make my trip transporter came and transfer me at airport. i still thinking what kind of package is it? i think you have booked airlines tickets, hotel and transfer from hotel not sight seeing transport. i pay more then the package to make my trip for this kind of service. i have earlier travel to Bangkok Thailand via make my trip, and book hotel many times and trusted, admire it, recommend it to my friends for its quality services. kindly enquire your Dubai executive and refund my money immediately. the same fate is also experienced by two others who are ladies in the same hotel. one from Mumbai and other krisma sharma from Delhi . regards, with no thanks, s r vashista [protected] Now paying rs. 38659/- this kind of reply is not accepted.                                       I wanted to cancel my flight and tried calling make my trip call centre to cancel my tickets but after calling 5 times and holding the phone for 30 minutes each time the phone gets disconnected automatically and i couldnt get through the call centre operator. i finally had to give up, due to which i couldnt cancel the ticket on time and lost my entire money.
                                      This is pathetic service, and company should be banned from providing services and if they cannot service the customers as required and promised in their marketing, websites and other advertisements.
                                      I urge all customers to book directly with airlines rather than booking through useless company like make my trip with pathetic service. The company should use funds to provide customer service rather then advertisements.

                                        I booked a package from makemytrip for kerala for 2 person my booking id is IN1310B1S009161. They said me they will include a 3* stay and a houseboat stay for a night.Now after taking my booking amount they are saying they will not be able to give me the houseboat stay and they are not providing me details of the hotels and rooms they will provide for stay. Please look into this issue and help if its possible to get what they commited.
