My name is vinoth kumar. Working in Tirupur. I had booked the bus ticket from tirupur to chennai on 28/07/13 online using my debit card through makemytrip. But the process got failed but the took the amount of Rs.650 from my account and sent the email as follows,

Because of emergency i tried for booking again in their same website. But the same thing i got again as follows and took Rs. 650 from my account.

Finally i did not get the ticket and i went by three different buses. i called their customer care and complaint regarding this and they said my amount will get refund within 2 working days. now its happen more than 6 working days but still i did not get any refund. i called their customer care and they transferred for many departments. every transfer i had waited for 5 to 10minutes. finally they said it will get refunded within 7 working days. i got more frustrated regarding this issue. because of their delay i cant apply for my bank exam. I request you to please take a needed action against these cheating fellows. Kindly do me the needful.

MakeMyTrip — cheating

I have booked three tickets including that of an infant who is 6 months old from Cochin to Bangalore.When i reached the airport to board the airline people started telling me that the infants ticket is not include in the e-ticket and they made me to pay additional amount for buying the infant's ticket.

When i informed makemytrip abt the blunder they have committed they responded telling that its a mistake from their side and they promised me to refund the money i had to pay for the ticket.

After a long wait fo 15 days they returned half the amount of the ticket .When i infomed they are telling that as per their record they have taken only half the amount i have paid

When i replied attaching the receipt i have got after booking the tiket online they started the trick of just ignoring my inquiries.

Its high time that rules shud be formulated barring these kind if service sites who cheat people like this.People shud start complaining against this irregularities.

Seems like that i am not only the person who has suffered by going thru the makemytrip

Make My Trip — Unable to get refund amount

Hi

I am unable to get refund from Make My Trip for the Cancelled Trip. The Flight was cncelled due to Volcanic eruption in ICE Land. Make my Trip has given me complete night mare for this. First of all they were unable to process the refund and kept on saying will get back to me, inspite of direction from Qantas Airways to refund full amount. Every time I called them they said, they havent got the confirmation from the Airlines..and I had to conference the call thrice from my phone amongst me, make my trip and Qantas. Finally they processed the refund, however, I am yet to get the amount back to my Credit Card. Whereas I am paying the interest to Credit card awaiting refund.

MakeMyTrip — Refund from Makemytrip

Hi,

I tried to book Domestic Air Ticket from Pune to Delhi on 29th Sep from makemytrip.com. I tried twice to book the ticket. It did not book the ticket instead deducted money twice from my account. I called makemytrip customer care 4 times and everytime i get different answers. First they said they see the transaction and my money will be refunded in 72 hours. Now they are saying they do not see any transaction and it takes 7 days to money refunded.

Everytime I call them, they put my call on hold for long time and say to call again. I am really frustrated with the service makemytrip has provided.
I sent my details by email but no one has contacted yet. I really wonder what kind of services makemytrip provides. I think they do not care about customer at all.

NF[protected], ( Passanger name - Mr. Surendra Roy - My Colleague ) I want to say that i had booked one flight ticket for Delhi to Patna on dated 04th April '2011 for travelling date of 09th April '2011 through our login id with make my trip but due to some problem i had cancelled that ticket on dated 08th April '2011.

Although ,I had cancelled that ticket on dated 8th April '2011 but till the date they didn't refund my money. However ,whenever first time complaint make my trip ; Ref.IN1104R0083432Anand KumarTime -4.15 pm 16.04.2011.

Mr. Anand Kumar told me , your refund money will be credit within 3-5 working days.After few min later i got an SMS from Indigo Airlines on dated 16 .04.2011- Dear Roy- Your Indigo PNR is XBG5CP- 6E178 09Apr DELPAT 1225/1400.Checkin counters close 45min prior to departure.Report early for hassle free checkin.

I wait till 30th April '2011 but not get my money, after that again i called to customer care of make my trip, vide ref. no. IN 1104R0163974Sarabjeet singh 30.04.201111.10 am

Again Mr. Sarabjeet told me , your money will be tfrd within 72 hrs. ( This time his Supervisor also ensored me , you have to wait approciate time wait.) but they didn't refund.

After cross of appropriate time , again a called to them vide ref. no. IN 1105R0025909Satish 05.05.201110.52 am


But again they didn't refund .

After that again i called to them , vide ref. no.

They again request me , sir sorry for delay kindly give 3-5 working days .your money will be tfrd but again they cheat me and not tfrd according to appropriate time . However, whenever i called them on dated 23.05.2011 once again they take time for 3-5 days . this time they sent through SMS ( 23.05.2011 ,Time -12.50 pm) also for its confirmation - MMT cancellation request received for MakeMyTrip booking ID NF[protected]. Refund will be initiated within 3-5 working days for Rs.2049. Thank You.

But till the date , i didn't get my money .

Sir, that ticket was booked through Kotak Mahindra Credit card , but due to non-payment of money they are charging Interest amount . Who will be bear of that ?

We humble request to all, kindly look my concern matter and tell me where my mistake ? Why they are harrasing to all consumer .

Issue:
1. MakeMyTrip cancelled ticket for 2 passengers all by themselves and after raising a query as to why they did that, they refunded me Rs.3,762 (again after deducting Rs.1,000 per passenger as penalty - though they should not have penalized me for no fault of mine, as I did not initiate the cancellation. So the amount due of Rs.2,000 (Rs.1,000 * 2 Passengers) has to be refunded to me.

2. Since MakeMyTrip had cancelled the 2 tickets, I had to book 2 tickets in the next available flight by paying cash, at Jammu Airport. The total amount paid as cash for both the passengers was Rs.11,040. The difference amount of Rs.5,278 (11,040 - 5,762) (5,762 is the actual cost of the ticket for 2 passengers when booked through MakeMyTrip) has to be refunded to me

SUMMARY:
MakeMyTrip owes me a total of Rs.7,278 based on the above calculations. MakeMyTrip is not honoring this yet, though they have agreed that it is their mistake. I have already provided the boarding passes and cash receipt to MakeMyTrip, as proof of travel. I have made several follow ups over phone and e-mail. Now-a-days, whenever I make a call to the call center of MakeMyTrip, the representative checks the complaint and promptly disconnects. This has happened consistently for several times.

    Please note that my refunds are pending with make my trip-

    2. Booking ID: NF[protected] & amount of INR 5229 (Booking unsuccessful but amount debited from my account)

    After trying repeatedly by complaining on their site, I have not received a single response from them. please advise if I need to involve my lawyers in this as well for filing a case against makemytrip for doing fraud and keeping my money in an unauthorized way.

      Is makemytrip a genuine company or a website that just does not care about customers. a friend of mine nearly lost his life due to the tension created by this company. He booked a ticket from USA to Calcutta by paying a business trip cost for economy class. He paid the full cost online and received an acknowledgement on the payment. The agent(Ms.Rawat) did not send him the eticket even 24 hrs before his departure. He called the customer service (atleast 15 times)and tried to reach her , but was pushed from corner to corner eventough he paid the cost in full and the makemytrip had already deducted his credit cards within minutes of his approval. With the tension, he had a mild attack and his wife asked him to cancel the trip(his father had passed away). He is now trying to get a full refund even after 4 months. he gets scripted emails asking to wait for 15 days every 15 days the message repeats by Ravinder Singh or some other uneducated bloke. He is now trying to get a full refund for $8000 that was paid for an economy class ticket as it was an emergency travel. What does the government or your complaints boards do about such insipid companies with no moral values?

        I had booked a group package through make my trip to thailand. my departure was on 16 july.
        i recived a mail on 1st week of july saying that the tour is cancelled due to flight issue.
        whn i asked the airline thy told thy dnt hve ny issues as such.
        Thy travel agency asked me for more money. whn i told i wont give more thy told me to chnage the dates,n the itenary also. i agreed to that also. but whn i asked them to book thy told the seats are full.
        Next day thy gve me the departure for 16 but with different flights,whn i ask wat abt the flight u hve mentioned i ur itenary thy told its fare are higher, n i hve to bear the extra expenses.
        Thy were trying tp extract money from me by ny means.
        whn i had no option i had to cancel the booking,n spoil mq honeymoon.

          I had booked my flight tickets (Delhi to Mumbai and back) on 01/07/2013 for Rs 9851.00. Please find my makemytrip booking no. for your reference - NF[protected]. However, after the transaction was completed the amount got debited from my bank account twice. I have attached the detailed bank statement for your reference. I have been in contact with makemytrip customer care for 22 days and they have not been able to provide me with any help in this regard. It would be really helpful if you could put an eye on this issue and help me get my refund from the company.

          Makemytrip.com — flight ticket

          Please be aware of this website. Price you see on website may not be the one you get. They give misleading infomation about price. Even if you buy ticket here at a reasonable price, changing the ticket will cost you more ( read 3 times) than buying a new. I will highly recommend stay out of this website and go with a local agent.

          I am surpised how they are able to do this to people.

          Online Ticket — NOT ABLE TO GET ONLINE TICKET

          I HAVE BOOKED MY TICKET ON 15 JAN 2010, AMOUNT DEBITED FROM MY ACCONT BUT I DID NOT GET MY ONLINE TICKET, EVEN I DID NOT GET MY PNR. I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE BUT NO RESPONSE. WHAT TO DO. IT IS ALSO NOT IN BOOKED HISTORY.

          I was trying to book a flight ticket on Indian airlines on 25 Feb 2010 (Kolkotta to Delhi for 2st May 2010). During transaction (Debit card) after clicking “pay” and waiting for a while I was shown the error statement that the transaction could not be made. So I redid the booking and this time was successful. However on perusing my SBI statement I found amount of Rs13096 has been debited twice, but I have received only one ticket.
          On perusing the complaint site for “make my trip” I was shocked to see similar complaints.

          Make My Trip — Trouble with online Bus Booking

          Hi,

          I wanted to book a ticket from Pune to Selu for khurana travels. I made the payment through my SBI account and the session expires. The ticket amount is deducted from my account. But I didn't have printout of the ticket. Since I didn't login to the makemytrip and booked my ticket.

          SO I don't know whether my ticket is booked or not. How can I take a printout of the ticket??? The ticket is not mailed to my mail id.

          The transaction was made through CC Avenue gateway and its failed. The transaction details are CCA[protected]IG22164559 TRANSFER TO [protected] AVENUES INDIA PRIVATE.

          Makemytrip.com — Booked some flight got ticket of other flight

          On Saturday 7th I booked flight for INDIGO 6E-252 from RAIPUR to KOLKATA which detparts at 17:15 from Raipur
          but when I made the payment I got the ticket for JET connect which departs at 21:25 PM (booking ID :NF[protected]from RAIPUR to KOLKATA and which reaches as 11:25 PM in kolkata .On complaining to the make my trip they said they will investigate and wil resolve with in 3-4 days (which is actually insane as the departure date is 8th April and if they resolve in 3-4 days then my departure date will actually be passed already , and what will I do after the departure date) As per them they will convey to me and updat me also in this regard on the cell phone registered with them but its been over 10 days and no updates from them

          Further , As booked flight given by them is not as per my choice and they didnt display the option also for the alternate flight ,they are not ready to pay any compensation ,Also when I asked to cancel as this was not my fault this was the programming error in the make my trip side they told me that I need to pay the charges for it .
          Iam truly dissappointing with this service , and hopefully this will be my and my group of friends last relation with make my trip .

          This issue has been prevailing since the day I complaint and was always promised that i would get a refund with in 72 hours and have been sending the copies of my account statement confirming the charge however this being my first experience with Make my trip i have been extremely unhappy and also frustrated . I was given a different ref #[protected] initially and was informed why my transaction failed and I had to call you guys get it escalated and was informed alright send us a statement and will get the refund done for you with in 72 hours and this message was sent to me on 9th Aug and again I receive an email with a different ref #[protected] today letting me know why my transaction failed and to send in my account statement again. This experience has been so stressful that it leaves me with Biter experience and today with limited access to internet I had to send in the document again and never even received a response of confirming the same . This forces me to never do business with you guys and I am sure if I don't receive the required status and update would definitely force me to share the same with my friends and on your wall.

          Refund not granted

          My transaction was cancelled and makemytrip is not refunding my money. I have tried communicating them at least 10 times still there is no response from their side. Kindly help me.

            I have been following up about my cancellation amount not been reverted to my account for the last 2 months without any reply and solutions (Booking ID NF[protected]. Out of 11.5 K i have only received 4.3K the rest 6990 is been lying with Makemytrip. I had made my ticket on 4th April and cancelled around 15th April. There were some calculation mistakes from there end and I received only 4.3k, for the remaining amount I have trying to follow up without any result. I am given an ARN which takes me two more days to follow up with the bank and it turns out to be of the 4.3k that i have already received. I have even sent my account statements twice. Then again I raise one more complaint and receive another ARN no. and after following up with citibank regarding this they say they have not received any amount from Makemytrip. Its been a very bad experience with the customer support been calling and sending numerous mails without any solutions. I have even reached the last level of escalation at makemytrip side (Reference ID: [[protected]]). I am yet to receive Rs 6900. Its been a very painful experience following up with both Makemytrip and citibank without any proper response.

            Myself Venkatramana Dodla, i had booked a Airline ticket from LA to Mumbai from Makemytrip on 23/09/2009, which i had to cancel for personal reasons, i called makemytip and agreed to pay $225 as cancellation charges even though the airline charges were $100, ias requested by makemytrip submitted all the paper work, then too i haven't received my refund amount, have been following up with makemytrip since last 3 months on emails and on phone like mad then too no one reply's the standard answer being from call center " since this is an international booking we will araange a call back" which i never ever got. i am completely pissed off, on the verge of rasing a police complaint,
            I recemmend every one not to book ticket from makemytrip, i have a horrifed exeperience,

            i was booked the up and down tickets from Hyderabad to Tirupati (dt: 19.03.2011) and Tirupati to Hyderabad (22.03.2011) booked on 9th March,2011 there is a lot of waiting list so later on i was cancelled my tickets on 15th. i was make a call to make my trip for refund amount they told that the amount will be credited to my account on 22nd March,2011 but it was not happened again i called up several times they said that they add interest amount of Rs.100/- to my refund amount i.e Rs. 1720+100. after one month i got the money back of Rs.1520/- they told that they add Rs.100/- but deducted Rs.200/- why they deducted i don't know i want my deducted money back immediately i was totally fedup with this make my trip.com railways i never book my tickets through this web site and i never suggest to my friends to book the tickets in this make my trip

                Dear Sir,

                Today i.e. on 29th June 2013, I was trying for ticket for 30th June 2013 from Delhi - Pune for 3 through MMT. I was speaking with an executive on Live Chat section. Ultimately he called me on My Cellphone. My requirement was 3Tickets for 30th June 2013 and flight departing from Delhi after 4PM, preferably 4-6PM Departure from Delhi. Customer Care Executive told me that ticket is available for Flight starting from Delhi at 8.20 PM which is Del-NGP-PNQ flight reaching pune at 11.20PM. Fare informed to me was around Rs.13k per person. Also the executive told me that there is no other confirmed ticket available with him. When I told I would book the ticket immediately but only fare is really high then he reduced fare to Rs.11.8k as last fare. After that I said the fares are too high. Hence he again said let me check for fuel surcharge and MMT fee reduction. After hearing the fare i asked for Monday morning fares. After this Most Shocking question I received from the Customer Care Executive was that, "How much fare are you looking for?". I was really surprised. I told him i want Rs.8.5-9K. to which answer was it cannot come so down and let me check with airline. And to my surprise he said if you book now you wud get fare of Rs.10.5k. Within 15mins of our discussion Ticket Fare per person was reduced from Rs.13K to Rs.10.5k. Have a look at difference.

                At the same time I was able to see fare of Rs.9k per person for 9PM flight. On asking about the same, executive replied that he has more updated system and tickets on that flight are wait listed. I was really surprised how wait listed tickets are issued by MMT. I said can I book that? on that he said you can try but at my end those tickets are shown as not available and I ahve more updated system and same may not have been updated on the website. Actually I tried to go ahead and book the tickets. To my surprise, the tickets went through and he was still insisting on confirming booking which he had. I gave him MMT ID to check which was generated for the ticket, on which he replied yes the transaction you had done had gone through. My MMT ID is "NF[protected]". And the executive was off. He cut the call and was no where.

                It is really BAD on part of Make My Trip. I must have Lost Rs.4.5K in case i have not tried to book through online myself. It is really fooling customers if you call. MMT is misguiding customers saying that whiel talking the customer care executives have more updated system than website of MMT (Which proved wrong in my case and don't know may be wrong in how many others cases.) In fact I think Website is more updated.

                It is really SAD MMT is CHEATING / Misguiding Customers.

                Hoping some really some logical reply soon.

                Hi,

                This seems to be common practice by MMT. On several occasion I have done online chat, and they come up with higher fares than shown online. And give same argument, that their system are more updated. On one occasion, I told online chat person, you give me the same price available on airlines site, or I am booking on airline site. Then after debating for half an hour, she said will give you 4000 Rs cash back. I agreed and went ahead with the booking. But then after travel, even months after dint receive cash back. MMT saying you did not enter the deal code. I fought so much, that you check chat history, but they just hanged up the phone. Tried for months, but no success. Then thought of an idea, and posted a complain on their Facebook page. They then finally gave cash back. But I had to fight for my money so badly.. I should have rather booked on airline site to avoid such hassle...Lesson learned for future..

                  I had taken package trip from Delhi to Manali , we were 10 members,and I was charged 58,000 Rs in advance for the same trip and we got a 12 seater cab and 1 star hotel booked
                  And they claimed that we will reach manali within 11 hrs and it took 23 hrs we suffered a lot because the cab was not at all in good condition and when we reached manali the hotel guy had a chat with us and he told us the address but when we reached @ the hotel there was no one @ the reception our driver knocked the door for an hr bit no one responded,so we had to look for some other hotel but in whole manali there was not a single hotel vacant, and we sufferd whole night searching for occupancy, when we called makemytrip guys they told us you ll be charged one night cost and we were charged for one night and for the cab 34,000.
                  So,kindly help us in getting our refund!

                    1. On 27 December 2012, we had booked 3 tickets to changdigarh via delhi from bangalore.
                    2. On reaching delhi they announced that the flight has cancelled and you need to make your own arrangement for going to chandigarh.In zero visbility and cold temeprature we reached in the night at 1.
                    3. To be on the safer side i called make my trip cutomer support for intialling the refund. Customer support asked me to give the phone to the jetkonnect attendent available there to confirm that the flight has cancelled.
                    4. Jet konnect attendent told that they cannot put any stamp for reimbursement as the flight was booked from make my trip.
                    5. I asked customer care executive if re quires anything in writing or stamp that flight has cancelled, He said no it is not required and the cancellation is in progress and we will get money in two weeks.
                    6. From 27 December 2012 till now we are chasing Make my trip for giving the money back and they have been saying they will reimburse and then they cancell the refund as they are saying they cannot get the status from jet konnect that the flight got cancelled.

                    MakeMyTrip — money not refunded after cancellation

                    there were flight tickets booked thorough makemytrip on indigo airlines in jan-09 for flights in feb-09.due to personal problems the ticket was cancelled at the airport counter.but as checked with indigo staff the amount 1550/- has to be returned by make mytrip.
                    severals mails and calls have been mailed but no response.
                    I am also a highly dissatisfied makemytrip customer, I had to cancel too an makemytrip besides the flight booking charges charged my card a cancellation fee too and claim that they will be refunding it which has not happened after n number of calls and n number of emails. Only bogus "Namaste" emails rendering no information, now lately a a customer support kavita verma has demanded my banking information like routing number and swift code and account number to make the refund and this seems like a not to do thing to me, please if anyone else has been furnishing their banking info to these people share their experiences so I may know if its ok to give them banking info because so far i doubt this as necessary .

                    Make My Trip — not refunded money

                    I had booked a flight ticket using netbanking and cancelled it.Even after 18 days i am not getting my money back.if i call they will tell they have refunded it.even i have sent them my bank statement.still they are not taking any action.please check to it and and take necessary action

                      Nut as on date i have not recived any payback point.I also logged a complaint to there website but these guys dont even to bother to reply.

                      I had baught dish tv connection in January and since then I am making calls to the customer care for the installation of the set top box.Everytime I call them they give me a new complaint no but till date no service has been provided by them.Its over five months.Dish has the worst customer service I believe.

                          Hi,

                          This is to inform you that I had booked tickets on makemytrip for Chennai to port Blair return trip for 7 people (on kingfisher airlines) on 30th September 2012. The flight was cancelled by kingfisher airlines. Hence the ticket was cancelled on the advice of makemytrip representative. The amount of the ticket paid by me was Rs. 92,376. I have called makemytrip several times and have also sent them emails asking about my refund. They mentioned that they are not responsible for the refund and I need to contact the airline (Kingfisher). They provided me some number but that number is not valid. I have sent them repeated emails but no response. On their website too the refund status is shown as " there is no refund due for this booking"

                          Since I have done booking on makemytrip, they should get me back my money of 92376 which is a big money from me.

                          I sincerely urge teh authorities to look in to my complain and hoping for an action at the earliest.

                          i booked a flight ticket on 16sept09 from delhi to chennai through make my trip.com.i cancelled my ticket FLT[protected] on 1 oct 2009.it was said from their side that refund would reflect on my account in next 7 business days but so far ten(40)days have passed and i am yet to receive my refund.
                          My Boss Had booked a flight ticket on 3 Aug 09 from delhi to Mumbai through make my trip.com.it Had cancelled by him ticket FLT[protected] on 3 Aug 2009.it was said from their side that refund would reflect on Boss Credit Card which had payment made in next 7 business days but so far 3 Month passed and i am yet to not receive my refund.

                          Couple of days I posted the below query :

                          This is regarding my bus ticket booked through Makemytrip.com,on 13/04/10, booking ID is BUS[protected].I cancelled this ticket on 13th of april itself, that is before 24 hrs of journey (journey date 14th of April,10) & supposed to get a refund of Rs. 825. As I was told, it should be done within 7 days but it still not refunded by them. Whenever I call to their customer service, I get the same reply that wait for 48 hours.I've got the same reply for 4 times.Whenever I drop a mail to them, I never get any response.

                          Please mark my words.They are the biggest frauds. The latest excuse given by them was that there was some problem from vendor side.Earlier they said that there is some technical glitch. They will never refund your money if you cancel the ticket. Why should I bother about the vendor problem, if I paid the money to you. While deducting the payment, there was no problem at all.

                          If anyone from MMT is looking at it.....just respond......what is the meaning of 7 days for you...& why the money is not yet refunded.

That I cancelled the ticket vide reference no BB051209. but till now I am not receiving the refund amount. So, I request you to refund me the said amount at an early date.

                          Make My Trip — Cancellation fee non refund

                          I have booked flight tickets with make my trip vide booking ID. no. FLT[protected] for onward and return journey for four adults out of which one ticket was cancelled by me on 02.06.2010. The company refund amount as per rules is Rs.5316/- out of which Rs.2634/- has been credited to my credit card account. When I noticed this mistake I made a complain to make my trip on 13.07.2010 and the company when contacted by me over phone informed me that they have credited the shortfall amount of Rs.2682/- to my card account on 19.07.2010. I have received my card statement generated on 20.07.2010 and the credit does not find a place in the statement.

                          Makemytrip.com — Refund not Received

                          This is with reference to my booking ID :FLINT[protected]. I wish to inform that had booked two return tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi for 9th August and 12th August, in the name of Rajni Kant Gupta and Kakul Gupta.

                          These tickets were booked for my parents and today when they arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Airport to board the Langkawi flight on Air Asia, they were informed that both there tickets have been cancelled. My parents had to wait at the airport for 4 hours and book the next available flight at a very high cost.

                          My communication with your customer care department has revealed that due to an error from your end, the payments of the these tickets didn't reach Air Asia due to which these tickets got cancelled. Payments from my end were clear and you had received payments for the tickets from my end almost 15 days back. My parents not only had to wait at the airport , but also get hassled by the cancellation of the flight. A pre paid taxi was booked for them at the Langkawi airport to take them to the hotel.

                          I wish to know when the payment was received from my end 15 days back and my card was charged and I was issued a confirmed e-ticket from your end, why did my parents had to go through all this hassle. Its a complete error on your companies part and I wish to get properly compensated for the same.

                          I wish to be paid the difference in the fare which I my parents paid for the Kuala Lumpur Langkawi flight and also the return tickets should be confirmed for 12th August, the same should be faxed at their hotel in Langkawi and also be compensated for the loss of hours, the cab fare and also the hassle they had to go through when they were on a vacation.
                          On several occasions I have written to the to the customer care department of makymytrip.com and even after their constant assurance that this matter will be sorted nothing has been done


                          This is a very serious issue and shows the poor quality of service which is offered at your end. I had pre-booked everything for my parents so that it is a hassle free vacation for them but I'm highly frustrated with the events of today. Kindly look into this matter with urgency as this is serious breach of your service commitment.

                          Makemytrip.com — Cancellation refund

                          I had booked air ticked from delhi to jammu on 25.5.2011 through net banking with booking id reference no. NF[protected] but the above was cancelled though net banking. The makemytrip has confirmed through mail that your refund amont of Rs. 4033/- has been proceed on 7.6.2011 under UTR no. P[protected]. I have again contact in customer care and told him the above issue. they have told me that you may contact your bank branch and verified the above refund. I have visited SBI bank told the above matter. They have checked and told me that the refund amount has not been reflected in your account and nothing is pending in our record. they have also issued a certificte wherein mentioned that the above amount has not credited in his account. I have again contact in customer care and explained the above discussions. They have again told me that you may give us another bank details. I have given the another bank details but after lapse of 2 and half months the result is still as before stand.

                          You are requested kindly solve the my above issue and register my complaint against Makemytrip.com. I have all mails records of my requests since june,2011

                          I hereby complaining that I could not get the complete services that are provided by the idea cellular network for the offer recharge value of Rs:149 which I had done on 18.01.2012 to the number [protected]. The same problem had occured when I had done the same reharge last month.
                          Although it is an offer recharge still the balance of my account is getting deduced for the usage. Valid responses and actions are not yet provided by the customer care of idea network.

                          MakeMyTrip — Money refund has not been done for the cancellation of ticket

                          I have booked a flight for my uncle on 7th May 2012 using my ICICI credit card. I have cancelled the ticket on the same date due to personal reasons on the same day (7th May 2012). I got a confirmation of the cancellation (attached is the cancellation confirmation).
                          After 14 days, on 22nd May, I called Makemytrip customer care and raised my concern (with ticket IN1205r0063774) that refund has not been credited to my account.They told me that it will be completed with in 72 hrs. I called customer care again on 25th May 2012 and spoke to customer care and they told me that the request has been escalated on 24th and it will be completed by 28th May afternoon. I again called customer care today (28th May 2012) and spoke to customer care regarding the same issue. They are asking me to wait for 3 more days to get a solution. I am really upset by the Makemy trip service. Please help me.

                          I have canceled my flight on 26th of August 2020 and haven't heard about the refund yet. It is Jan 2021, yesterday I receive a notification saying the amount has been credited to my cash on the app. When I opted to transfer it to my bank account, in the app it shows that the refund has been credited but it did not get reflected in my bank account. None of the customer care contact numbers work either. What am I supposed to do.

                            I booked a hotel room at Lake View Inn Shillong on 2nd June through the website of Make my trip dot com and made full payment for a day's stay.
                            We were a family of four including two children.
                            Originally my son was not to join us and therefore I had booked only one room in the same hotel during end May.
                            On reporting to the hotel on 2nd June at 5.30pm I was informed that they have cancelled my 2nd June booking and intimated Make my trip.
                            The hotel rules and room size did not permit accommodation of four persons for the night in one room.
                            A very unhelpful receptionist at the hotel asked all my responses and queries to be directed at Make my trip dot com.
                            Subsequently my son and I made five phone calls to Make my trip helpline and each time was assured they would call back with a solution within ten minutes.
                            Thereafter after each call, I waited endlessly.
                            This was over and above the trauma of having to find a place to stay after dark in a new place like Shillong.
                            At 7.20pm I received a mail from Make my trip intimating that they have cancelled my 2nd June booking supposedly at my request and are refunding the amount paid.
                            During the fifth phone call after 9pm on 2nd June I was assured that a solution would be provided to my accommodation issue next day by 12 noon.
                            That is the last I heard from them.
                            As a regular customer of the Make my trip dot com I felt cheated and left in the lurch.

                              I have booked 2 air tickets to Singapore through makemytrip(via phone option) on May 2nd , While booking the ticket person informed me that, there is a cash back of 1000 Rs. for HSBC credit card holders. They asked me to use the coupon code HSBCINT
                              Booking ID is IN1305B00936. Till now the cash back of 1000 Rs not yet credited to my account and now make my trip saying that no offer was there while I was booking.
                              I asked them to check the call logs which I have made with the Customer care Guy Krishan Pratap Singh who promised me that there is a cash back and he only provided me the coupon code.
                              When I called Makemytrip said that if the Booking Agent agreed for the cash back in the call we will check the call recordings with Quality dept and provide you the cash back. Since then I don’t get any response from Makemytrip. If this kind of Cheating service they are giving for international Customers just think how they treat the domestic and for hotel booking. For this reason I have booked my Hotel and other journey through goibibo and agoda for air ticket and hotel booking. This is a complaint of absolutely cheating and I hope the authorities will open their eyes and I am going to file a complaint in Consumer court for absolute cheating.

                              Make My Trip.com — Airline cashback offer refund

                              For the first time, by mistake i booked my airline ticket thro makemytrip.com

                              I had booked 4 Indigo flight ticket onward and return chennai - New Delhi,

                              under return ticket cash back offer.

                              Indigo PNR is E17TDV and H16SLT

                              Though indigo's direct booking was much cheaper, i was fascinated by "book for one way get return ticket free"

                              advertised my makemytrip.com.

                              and i had immediately booked and travelled.

                              after sending repeated mail, makemytrip official called me.

                              I was shocked when they told me that, i had transferred thro ICICI BANk
                              net banking for which cash back is not applicable.

                              I have paid about 30% more than the actual fare.

                              I advise all friends to book directly any airline and not thro makemytrip.com

                              MakeMyTrip — Fraud in cash back offer

                              Hi

                              I had booked a return ticket from DEL-BLR-DEL from make my trip website for 15 May journey.

                              The makemy trip is having a 60 % cash back offer on base fare for any Indigo return ticket.

                              At the time of booking, I even confirmed with the make my trip CC executive they confirmed about the Cash back offer.

                              I got the copy of my invoice, stating the same about the offer.

                              After the journey, now they are saying that this offer is valid only for the cash back on return leg of the journey. They are reluctant to pay the cash back amount even when I send the copy of my invoice saying clearly that its cash back on total base fare.

                              I am attaching the mail clarly indicating the offer and invoice.

                                I was trying to book round trip tickets for 3 adults from mangalore to dubai on June 18th 2013 and return on July 8th 2013.

                                I could find below option in Air India Express:
                                Rs.20,749
                                June 18th 2013: Departure from Mangalore at 2pm and arrival at Dubai 4.10pm
                                July 8th 2013 (Return): Departure from Dubai at 12.10pm and arrival at Mangalore 5.25pm

                                But unfortunately when I click to book tickets I would get option to book tickets in Air India:
                                Rs.20,749
                                June 18th 2013: Departure from Mangalore at 12.50pm and arrival at Dubai 9.55pm (1stop)
                                July 9th 2013 (Return): Departure from Dubai at 12.05am and arrival at Mangalore 5.20pm (2 stops)

                                As showed in your website I am entitled to get option of Air India Express as mentioned above. However, it is unfair that I am getting option to book tickets at same price but in different flight which is not nonstop and duration of journey is above 10 hours.

                                I am disappointed with the problems in the website and your customer care service. I expect a solution for this problem from your end, because I was not able to book tickets due to this issue and the price per each ticket now increased to Rs.25,681, which is almost Rs.4000 more per ticket.

                                I request you to provide a solution by booking the tickets for me at Rs.20,749 per ticket and crack a fair deal. I would appreciate if you do not provide option for me to opt help from District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum or Consumer Protection And National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

                                Looking forward for best solution.

                                  i had booked tickets of punbus hvac from delhi to hoshiarpur and then jalandhar to delhi for 29 may and 02 june 2013 respectively. They shown as seating arrangement of 2x2 in bus . But actually seating arrangement was 2x3 . And seats were very uncomfortable .they did not give any notice about it and charged full fare for this faulty service.
                                  please make them stop fooling consumers.

                                    I have booked a ticket from Pune to Udaipur on 31st May 2013 for a AC sleeper bus from Karan Travels (GHyundai). Some how the AC bus was not well and they sent the NON AC bus. I refused to travel on this bus and demanded my money back at my boarding point only, where the bus operator told that you did not gave money to me, you have given to makemytrip so collect it from them. The bus operator then told me that keep this 200 rs and you have to travel in this bus only. I told I dont want to travel 20 hrs in a NON AC bus then Bus driver started the bus and started moving. In that panicking condition I boarded the bus. As my stop was the last stop the operator went down. After 30 -40 meters travel only and some angry discussion with the driver and cleaner I stepped out of the bus. I then called the number provided on the bus ticket and to my surprise that number was of the luggage office where the reciever could not solve my problem. I called up makemytrip from the boarding point itself. They registered the complaint and assured a call back. On my way back from the boarding point to my house I got a call from makemytrip and I explained all the details. After that point I am regularly calling them up and demanding my money but they are just forwarding my complaint to the concerned team. I also have a call in conference with makemytrip, bus operator and me, and after that too they told that we will revert back to you. But untill now there is no solution and It seems that makemytrip is taking the issue casually enough and trying to extend the time so that every one forgets about the issue. Though it is a matter of just Rs 1000 but I want this irresponsible peoples to get a lesson of ruining my whole trip where there is exactly ZERO fault on mine. My booking ID is NU[protected]

                                      This is to inform you that Mr. Rishi has done false commitments with us and got our package booked.
                                      • Transfers - My requirements were totally different what i got in Mauritius. I have asked for Private transfers and Rishi booked Group Transfers. Inspite of asking n no. of time and even given email commitments for this. Maurituis it only from Airport to hotel was private transfer other wise all were group transfers. Only it was fixed that returning would be on coach basis but really it was different.
                                      • Package details – When received the mail from Gaurav an no. of details which were provided by Rishi were missing. When I shared with Rishi, then It got rectified and even shared at wrong email id. After doing follow up received at my email id.
                                      • Follow up – Not a single person followed or been in contact to make me customer aware of process, just mailing will never be the best solution, when I continues followed up became more concern as only one and half week left for travel got connected with Gaurav and I got a response that, we have lots of work could be possible we just tried once and probably I have not picked the call we didn’t tried again.
                                      • Insurance and documents - Also package consisted the cancellation policy for insurance which automatically share's that insurance is included but lately again shared that insurance is not included and when i shared that i will not bear that then request for 50-50% to bear. When received the insurance paper details were wrong in insurance as well as email id's. And never received the rectified papers even after traveled.
                                      • Matrix Sim Card - Secondly as per the package it was shared that I would get Matrix sim card worth 250 free, which I never got it. I purchased by my own, which cost me 350 Mauritian Rupees.
                                      • Room - Thirdly I have asked for Ocean views room and i got a room which was ocean facing but view was occupied with trees no ocean view was there. This was not communicated earlier. when reached the hotel, phone was not working, Television was not working, and even hot water was not coming, I need to do follow up everything. Even Hotel was not bothered.
                                      • At the time of communication for payments also i followed up, there was no follow up from Mr Gaurav or any team from Makemytrip. Surprised to see that at the time of booking sent a person to collect the chq but when payment needs to be done on even request not a single person help in collecting chq. I can't expect this kind of service from make my trip. This was pathetic.
                                      • Water Issue in Mauritius - When reached Mauritius came to know about water problem there. It was not prior communicated so that we could have carried some amount of water in our baggage with end up paying money there. I want my money back for ruining my international holiday trip.
                                      Can Makemy trip suggest this was trip for me to relax or another task to accomplish inspite of giving my valuable money. This Money was for my enjoyment and not for supporting Makemytrip. You guy’s should return my money back.

                                        A friend and I were supposed to travel (one from Mumbai and one from Delhi) and we paid 5,400 extra for this customized package. Unfortunately my friend was unwell and since MMT refused to refund the tickets I had to travel alone. Despite repeated reminders by phone , email and SMS the tickets were mailed only one day before the flight. To my shock I noticed MMT had booked the tickets with the wrong names from the wrong cities.

                                        When I informed them they said they will rebook the tickets but will cancel my friends package as he is not coming. I told them not to that as I will lose my cashback and since I have paid 64,000 and that is not a small amount. Naina Negi from MMT assured me that I would get the full cashback (I have SMS and Emails to prove this). I was supposed to get 7% cash back per person. However I have only got cash back for one booking.

                                        When I contacted MMT they said one package has been cancelled and we dont give cashback for cancelled packages. This is blatant cheating by MMT. I have never cancelled any package.
