I booked a ticket for two passengers from Bangalore to Delhi for 21st March with that coupon code using my HSBC card and then booked a return flight for 2nd April, in which I had mentioned the booking id of the previous booking (mandatory condition to avail the FLYFREE offer).
Prior to the trip when I had called their customer care, they had mentioned that the cashback will happen after three days of making the return journey. Now when I contacted the customer care, they are saying that the offer is not valid for me as I had used HSBC card for making the booking. If anyone checks that webpage, there is no restriction on the type of card/mode of payment to avail the offer.

    SO I AM CALLING B2B HELPLINE FOR ASKING THAT ABOUT IT,THEY TALLED ME THAT IF YOUR BALANCE IS NOT END..THE REMAINING BALANCE WILL CREDITED IN YOUR ACCOUNT WITH IN 15 DAYS.

    1ST MARCH MY B2B ACCOUNT DISABLE.AND I AM COMPLETED ALL FORMALITIES BY SENDING CANCELED CHEQUE COPY AND PAN CARD ALSO FOR REFUND MY BALANCE.MY REFUND BALANCE IS MORE THAN 30000 INR.

    Make My Trip(India) Pvt Ltd — Refund refused

    1.I had booked a trip on 9/5/09(saturday)paying a booking amount of Rs. 6000/-(for two).I cancelled it after two working days on 12/5/09 and requested for refund of booking amount after deducting their service charges.
    2.They refused me any refund citing the reason that I have signed a piece of paper at the time of booking wherein it is mentioned booking amount is non refundable. This paper they handed over to me only after I made refund claim.They did not give me a copy of this paper at the time of booking.
    3.They only gave me a receipt of Rs.6000/- at the time of booking saying after few days when the trip is confirmed they will call me and I have to make full payment then.
    4. My argument is I promptly requested for refund in two days time and in the two days no confirmations on the trip has been given by the company, then why I will not be given refund minus their service charges. But they refused.

    Can you please help me in getting the refund.
    I have heard about this travel agency. They are not good. When one walks in to the office, one gets very cold reception. their booking girls have always a grim face and do not reply properly.even they do not give all required papers.

    MakeMyTrip (India) Private Limited — Deficiency in service

    We took the Singapore Malaysia Super Saver Package launched by MakemyTrip from 24th December 2010 to 31st December 2010. For this, we made a payment of Rs. 93,000/- including surcharge of Rs. 13,000

    There were severe deficiencies in services provided by your company regarding the above package, which ultimately resulted in spoiling the entire trip. The same were as under:-

    1. Change in day to day itinerary on 5 days out of total 7 days
    2. Change in flight schedule from Singapore to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)-- informed 2 days prior to departure (However tickets were booked almost 15-20 days in advance)
    3. Change in hotels both at Malaysia and Singapore
    4. Wastage of 2 full days out of the tour period
    5. No break-fast given on last day

    Change in Day to Day itinerary, showing the difference between the proposed itinerary and the actual schedule followed is as follows:

    Proposed itinerary--- Followed/not followed--- Actual itinerary/ schedule actually followed
    Day 1 - Free Day --- Not Followed--- City tour- evening
    Day 2 - half day city tour + half day Sunway Lagoon (optional) --- Not Followed --- City tour + Batu caves

    Day 6 - Half day city tour + Half day free (Sentosa Island - Optional) --- Followed ---- Half day city tour + Half day free (Sentosa Island - Optional)
    Day 7 - Breakfast + departure ---- Not Followed ---- Breakfast laid at 4 AM in the morning. No packed breakfast offered despite repeated requests to tour manager since 2 days prior to departure.

    As a result of the changing of the day wise itinerary as proposed earlier, we had made arrangements to meet our few friends who stay in Malaysia, which we could not do

    Change in flight schedule showing the Difference in the proposed flights with their timings and the changed flights and their timings---
    On Day 7, the flight from Singapore to Malaysia was changed from 11.40 AM in the morning to 7.40 AM in the morning. Due to this we had to get up as early as 03.00 AM in the morning, leave the hotel at 04.00 AM. These changes about the flight timings were known to the your tour organizers/operators almost 20 days prior to starting of the tour (it appears on the ticket from Singapore to Malaysia that it was booked on 7th December 2010), but they purposefully did not inform us about it, since in that case we would never have agreed to go for such a tour and flight timings and also would not have agreed to pay the remaining sum of money for a badly managed tour. Also, we were not given proper breakfast by the tour operators despite making repeated requests for a packed breakfast.

    Change in hotels both at Malaysia and Singapore informed 2 days prior to departure----The hotels at both Malaysia and Singapore were changed without giving any proper reason. Infact, there were ants and other insects in the Singapore Hotel.

    The company should give us refund of our money, compensate us for this badly managed tour and deficiency in providing services.

      Dear Sir,

      I made a reservation for three people including me for travelling back from Medan,Indonesia to Chennai,India on makemytrip on Malaysian Airlines. Makemytrip booking ID was NN[protected] DT.30.10.2012 (Travelling Date: 13.10.2012) value: Rs.40726, which is a refundable ticket and clearly written on eticket of makemytrip and made full payment. Due to certain circumstances I had to cut down my trip and returned to India on 10th of December and on 11th of December, I called Makemytrip.com to cancel my above flight ticket. They confirmed cancellation and send me Refund Slip on 13th of December, 9oclock in the morning. Deducting Rs.20500 from total amount as Cancellation Fee and Balance amount of Rs.20226 to be refunded within 7 working days.

      On 15th of December, I also received an email again that we are working on your case with above ref. number and it will resolved soon.

      I got busy and I forgot this issue and due to busy work I forgot whether I received refund or not. During our Accounting Year closing on 31st March, my accountant pointed me out that the refund payment has not been made till now.

      So I called up makemytrip customer care and asked for this querry of non-receipt of refund, but the lady took extremely long time and didnt give any reply, so I wrote an email asking for refund immediately as it's been over 3 months now.

      Surprisingly on 2nd of April, I received reply that this is a non-refundable ticket and they have already told me by phone that this is a non refundable ticket. I was stunned to hear this reply.

      I have been most loyal customer to makemytrip and I used to book almost every month domestic and international flight tickets for me and my family and I never expected that this comapny is such big fraud.

      I dont care about money, but I cannot tolerate such fraud policies.

      I will take legal action and will teach a lesson to such fraudsters.

      Make My Trip — non refunding of cancelled flight amount

      i booked a ticket on 28/7/2009 and paramount flight was cancelled and they said that my money will be credited within a week but till date i did not get my money.

      Make My Trip — Refund of Cancelled Air ticket

      These people are bunch of crooked people. I cancelled my ticket On June 29 , which was for Memphis to Chennai. I have to be refunded 562 USD and its 4 months now I still didn't receive any refund. I called them so many times any they always passed time and would say "wait for 10 more days" or "we have processed it from our end". Really a frustating bunch of people.

      Makemytrip.com — Fraud on Refund

      I booked an International Holiday Package for 2.25 Lacs.

      I was liable to get refund of Rs. 6000 for this booking.

      After so many excuses they finally told me they have dropped a cheque in my account of Rs. 6000/- and they have given a fake HDFC bank receipt also but afterwards I wait till 6 working days but the amount was not credited in my account till date, even it was not reflecting for clearance too.

      Now when I am trying to call MakeMyTrip representatives they are not picking up my calls.
      Representatives names are Mr. Vikash Rana (manager – International bookings), Ms. Priyanka Singh (representative-International Tours).

      So now I have decided to bring them in consumer court. And request you all to beware with these guys.

      i am fully agree with you last minute they decide to do any changes andif we change then cancellation rule apply...
      I am facing a similar ( horror) experience with Make My Trip .com. My bad experience is as follows:

      I had booked a return trip for my daughter thru Make My Trip from London to Delhi and back. Make my trip booked on BA. As BA cancelled the flight on 20th March I contacted Make My Trip about the alternatives. This call and follow on calls went on for 4 days ( each time a new "travel expert" comes online and professes no knowledge of any past history on my enquiry. For four days this has been going on with Make My Trip asking hat the passenger go to BA and sort it out. They gave four ( SIC!) different PNR nos and BA rejected each saying these are not valid!!

      Finally BA London office after a personal visit by the pax, confirmed that the subject flight is cancelled due to strike and all agents incl MMT have been informed that tickets are eligible for full ITENARY REFUNDS. As on 19 March Make My Trip refuses to accept this! BA advised that travel agents will ryto cheat by denying that the airline has given full refunds. Also BA expressed inability to refund the pax directly since the booking was by MMT and only their PNR was on the system.

      This to me appears to be a blatant attempt by this agent to make a fast buck as cautioned by the airline.

      My advise to all is avoid Make My Trip, even if they promise low cost fares. End result is you get cheated and due to the anonymity of call centres the agent gets away. Lesson learnt. Book direct with airlines.

      Make My Trip — no refund of air ticket after cancellation of flight

      Sir,
      I have not recieved the refund of my amount throgh bankers till date after the ticket Make My Trip ID[protected] issued by Go Airlines was to be cancelled as the flight was cancelled by air lines at last moment. Kindly refund the amount immediately

      MAKEMYTRIP/ DOMESTIC FLIGHT — non-refund of cancellation ticket

      Dear Sir,

      I have booked air ticket from Makemytrip.com thru internet on 9 december 2010 for the date 26-oct-2010 from chandigarh to mumbai thru booking id number NF[protected] and this ticket has been cancelled on 20th -march-2010. The cancellation ID given to me was IN1103R0100004.
      After many repeated complaints they asked my bank account details, which i had sent as per there requirements on 24/7/2011. Afterward they assure to resolve the issue in 72 working hours but still not able to meet the commitment.
      I have checked the refund status through internet that my ticket was showing in cancelled status and refund amount due was showing on 6th-Aug-2011.

      After many compalint, makemytrip.com is not ready to refund my money.

      Makemytrip.com — Cancellation of confirmed flight

      Booked 3 tickets one month back. All sectors tickets were confirmed tickets. I received a mail yesterday regarding cancellation of first sector. When you talk to CS, no stisfactory response and alternate is being given. Even after one hour hold no supervisor is responding. This is horrible and i recommend all not to use makemy trip else you may lose your money. booking code: 3322.

        MakeMyTrip - totally doesn't stand for its name. I am totally disappointed with all that happened right from booking to cancellation to refund. Here's what happened :

        Got a call from "Taranjot Kaur" (Taranjot.[protected]@makemytrip.com) a MakeMyTrip executive who handled our honeymoon booking.
        Numerous calls a day , and totally nagging us to forcefully give in and book the trip. ( And this was supposed to be our honeymoon trip)
        Then , when I put in a cancellation request for the Trip the very next day , she gives me stories that - my initial booking amount
        of Rs 20,000 has been used to book flights , hotels in Thailand and for our transfer cabs in Thailand - which is an utter made up story.

        And here is why I need justice on this and a full refund back - as MakeMytrip got such untrained employees ( who are not even fit to lie or
        keep following the previous track of story told to me :

        Trip - India To Thailand ( Bangkok and Krabi )

        1. We have not submitted the booking form with our signatures yet. I am sure its a part of
        "SO CALLED - MAKEMYTRIP POLICIES AND PROCEDURES" , where the customer has to sign it , and only once they receive it
        can they use our booking money to go ahead with the other procedures.

        Then , why the hell MakeMytrip used our hard - earned money to carry on
        with the booking ?? ( though its obvious to everyone that its a lie , as any sensible travel agent or trip organizer will only ,
        I stress in DOUBLE QUOTES "Block the airlines / flights".

        2. I have made a cancellation , the very next day after paying the initial amount ( Please refresh for Point 1 - Have not submitted
        the signed copy of the Booking Forms yet , cos MakeMytrip have the tendency to forget what is convenient to them ) .

        And I hear stories of - "Mam ! Already booked flight tickets ,already booked hotel rooms , already booked cab services ". Ughh!! Give me a break . Utter Crap.
        Its your head ache , if you cant even value your customer and their hard - earned money even a little bit.

        3. When I called up "Taranjot Kaur" for the cancellation, she told me that there is no refund. I mean - "What The Hell ?? !! ". Is it your organizations
        money , that you can keep it safe and say "No Refund". When I am not availing your services , why the hell should I give you my money for free.

        I don’t know whether this is a way of making money, and if MakeMytrip is such an organisation, or if it’s actually only because of a few incompetent and ignorant employees. The fact is that this entrie episode has left me frustrated and angry and Rs.10,000 poorer. Not to mention the countless calls I have made to MakeMyTrip wasting my time hoping for a good outcome.

        4. The next thing that happened was that , I had to have such an embarrassing conversation with Taranjot , where she gave me a bargain for the refund every other call. I felt like I am bargaining and buying vegetables.

        First call she told me that I will be getting a minimum of only 3000 Rs as refund. Second call - the refund amount got increased to Rs 5000 ( God knows from where the flight tickets got dropped). Third call - Rs 8000 ( as if MakeMyTrip is offering a job with a salary package negotiation. Uff!! ). And then all of a sudden from nowhere , she said refund amount is Rs 10,000. I told her - "I want my whole money back" and she promised me to get in touch with her higher officials for the same.

        5. Next thing she had asked me was , if she could proceed with the cancellation. I said YES. ( Though she did not confirm me that Rs 10,000 was all I would receive . Cos you know obviously - I was bargaining with a vegetable vendor and I expected a better bargain :D :D) - By the way , MakeMyTrip I am mocking at you for having such stupid , good for nothing employees. Please do not
        feel happy or proud that I have included a SMILEY.

        6. The next event was shocking and a surprise to me. I was all teeth and glee. I had received a message on my mobile registered with MakeMyTrip that my booking has been cancelled. And a refund amount of Rs 17,750 will be processed in next 7 business days. The exact copy of the message below :

        "Cancellation request received for MakeMyTrip Booking ID - IN1302B22313 , Refund Amount of Rs 17,750 will be processed in next 7 business days. Thank You"

        Now, what would you expect me to do ? I called up Taranjot and told her that I have received a cancellation message with so and so amount. And I kept Idle waiting for my account to get credited with the same.

        7. I receive Rs.10,000 in my bank account on 12th March 2013, saying Rs10,000 has been credited. I was wondering why only Rs10,000 ?. I called up Taranjot and inquired the same. She promised to check and tell me. No response. I tried calling her personal number. One ring and gets disconnected. My number had been blacklisted or on call divert . And I realised it late. This is how she ditches customers. But when she wants business , she will call you and nag you to book with MakeMyTrip.

        8. The final made up story of theirs is : I receive the cancellation message on 1 st March,2013. On 25th March 2013 , they tell me that "Its an Automated message and the amount mentioned is wrong" ( I mean WTH , even film directors will not be able to twist and turn and give multiple angles / dimensions to a story ). Again I try reaching , no response. Nada. Zilch.

        I can add on more. But this is more than enough to what kind of incompetent employees and services MakeMytrip have.


        If this episode is not sorted out ASAP, I would personally make sure that all my relatives, friends and acquaintances get to know about the way MakeMyTrip treats its customers and does business. And trust me, with an episode like this not ANY of them would be very interested in doing business with MakeMytrip ever again.

        Furthermore, I would NOT AT ALL hesitate to approach MakeMytrip via consumer forums, to claim back what is rightfully my hard earned money. Not to mention the trauma I have been going through speaking to your various employees and their different versions of the procedures. And so far, seeing the outcome, I dare say some of the things they told me were blatant lies.

        Please understand, that this was supposed to be my honeymoon trip, but MakeMytrip didn’t actually make it, but left a really really bad taste, which it would do well to rectify.”

          I had booked a trip to Jaipur-Agra-Delhi vide booking ID 1N1301B23383 .I had promised 3 star accommodation in all the three places. Excepting Jaipur,the accommodation was below par and much below my expectation.Travel date 17/3/2012 to 24/3/2012

          The Hotel in New Delhi : The White Clove Paharganj

          This hotel was located in a very congested area and despite my pleas to makemytrip multiple times for not booking this hotel,they booked the same.We were given an executive room with a extra bed,where there was any space for moving around.Hence I paid extra and upgraded to a suite room.Now the room had broken handles on the wardrobes,stinking smell near the lifts.The kitchchen smoke used to come to the restuarant.The food was verrrry bad and we had to get stuff from outside during our 3 day stay. In the main lobby we found dog on one of the days.Also when we asked for towels on one of the days,they said it has to come from laundry.

          There were 3 TV's in the suite room.Only one was functional and the other two were kept for show.The walls were cracked in the room and the ac duct was left in the bathroom ,so there was always flow of water in the bathroom. Overall a very dirty place to spend your time.Truly it is wrongly categorized as a 3 star. The swimming pool is a 10 ft x 10 ft water body where I did not find using it during or 3 day stay there.There as a gym which had some instruments ,which was very dirty too and I di not find anyone sue the same as well.
          At night you would find 4-6 dogs in the fornt of the hotel barking to glory. Overall a pathetic and non-recommendable hotel to anyone who would like to spend some quality time with good ambience.


          The Taxi provided by makemytrip for the whole trip was really bad and not neatly maintained.

          I had requested for partial refund for the deficient service provided by makemy trip.

            Dear Officer,

            I purchased air ticket from a representative from www.makemytrip.com over phone (Phone No:[protected] for a round trip ticket from Washington DC to Hyderabad at a price of $1,580.00. MakeMyTrips charged my credit card for the same price, issued an electronic ticket and sent confirmation email with both makemytrip confirmation number and airlines confirmation number (attached the confirmation email).

            I thought I have secured the ticket. Several days after the transaction, I visited airline website to retrieve my reservation details in order to check the itinerary and seat assignment, but got a message on airline website that there was no reservation with the given reservation number. I contacted makemytrip.com over phone to see what the issue is. They took a day to investigate and came back and informed me that the airline has declined the ticket for the pewciously agreed amount and now I need to pay $400.00 extra in order to secure the ticket. They did not even inform me that the reservation is not finalized until I approached them. I feel that it is really outrageous after issuing the ticket and charging my credit card.

            They abruptly denied issuing the ticket and told me to complain wherever I want to. It is such an irresponsible behavior and no ethical business attitude. The rules and regulations provided by www.makemytrip.com (in the confirmation email) clearly states that the ticket will be issued if the amount is paid in full (see rules 1 and 2).

            I urge you to take a stern action against www.makemytrip.com and save other customers like me getting ripped off by this kind of business attitude.

            AIR TICKET — THEY ISSUED TICKET WITHOUT CONFIRMATION TO CUSTOMER

            sir i booked air ticket from website www.makemytrip.com on 14may, but trancation was not successfully.so i took another air ticket from local agent.
            ON 15 MAY 4.30 one lady call to the pasenger and took detail neither she mention that" she is calling from makemytrip nor she informed route of air ticket.The passenger gave passport details as he is from turkey.Makemytrip. send ticket to my email on which i have not opens my email on Sunday. . ON MONDAY, when i saw i was shocked to my credit card was debited of 32000 and change. when i call they don't even try to explain, why they not issued ticket on 14 may and whey they issued ticket on 15 may .i requested them to refund my money , they informed me to cannot be possible and money cannot be given. plz help me in this matter. as they have issued ticket after 24 hr when pax took another ticket .
            Sir plz healp me is it about 32000 and change. plz if possible change the name of the passenger or send back my money to the same creditcard account.

              makemytrip is seriously a bad place to book your tickets.

              I had booked a flight from Pune to Jaipur by SpiceJet. Flight got cancelled and makemytrip did not bother to inform. Luckily SpiceJet staff was friendly enough to give a free Pune-Delhi flight instead and I had to take a taxi to Jaipur. I called them on the way to Jaipur 1) they did not take responsibility of wot had happened 2) they sent me a mail and sms next day (the day after scheduled date) that too because I had called them the previous day (wot should I do with that mail and sms on the next day?)

              Even after I came back to Pune I called them but to no avail. They said they could not do aanything so I have left it there.

              However I am writing this because I want to make everybody aware. DON"T BOOK THROUGH MAKEMYTRIP. They MAY give u 100-200 Rs. discount max (irrelevant) but i[censored] are with family this is added tension.

              My best suggestion would be book tickets directly from Airline company website, they ll contact you if flight s cancelled and even refund your entire amount.

                I have book Online bus ticket from www.makemytrip.com with Booking ID of NU[protected] from Ahmedabad to Vashi for 25.03.13 @ 7:30 Pm. my bus got cancelled by bus operator and they called me. bus Makemytrip team dont conforming my bus cansallation station till. 7:00PM and nither they r call me nor SMS me.
                That is horrible for me. when i call their custmer care number they r told me with in 30 mint's u will receive call/ mail/ SMS from our side.they r not ready for accepting bus is cancelled.

                      My friend Isha Agarwal and I had booked air tickets from Mumbai to Delhi and return on the 13th and 17th of February 2013 respectively. I booked the tickets for the two o[censored]s on the 11th of January 2013 online via make my trip. On the 13th of February at 11.51 am, she cancelled only her to and return ticket via make my trip (online). We have a screenshot which specifically says that only 1 ticket (to and return) is cancelled. However, when I reached the airport at around 4.00 pm for my flight (Indigo flight no. 174 at 5.40 pm), I was told that my ticket was cancelled as well. On checking with Indigo, I was told that at 12.05 pm, a certain Mr. Vijay Singh called the Indigo call centre to split the PNR (no. DMFBDP) and cancel both the reservations. On enquiring with makemytrip, I was told that the second ticket (my ticket) was cancelled online at 12.40 pm. There is evidently a discrepancy and mismatch in the information provided by both parties. I request you to look into the matter immediately since I paid Rs. 8336/- for the same flight to Delhi at the airport.

                      I hope that you appreciate both the financial and mental stress I have gone through due to this issue. I have made several calls to the Make My trip and Inidgo call centre and have been kept on hold for more than an hour at times with no help or revert. Indigo promised to get back to me with the recording of Mr. Vijay Singh, and later sent me a mail saying their call recordings are only for internal processing. Make My Trip was to revert to me with details of the IP address from which my ticket was cancelled online. This too has not happened. It has been exactly a month since this incident and sorting this out has taken a lot of my time, energy and resources. Yet I can see no clear or near solution/response/help from either of the parties.

                      At the outset, regret the inconvenience caused to you. We have validated the issue with our technical team to understand if there was any site issue at the time of cancellation. As we have logs for every cancellation made on the website the same has been validated and found that booking was cancelled on 13th Feb, 2013 at 11:47AM through IP address 14.140.53.42. This was not a site issue.

                      Further, please note that we have already shared the cancellation logs with you on 8th March, 2013.

                          I booked my roundtrip through makemytrip.com from bangalore to delhi for air india . I completed the bangalore delhi journey on 5/2/13 but cancelled my return ticket for 21/2/13 as the flight had delayed the timings. I was given assurance by the air india executive over the phone that i may receive a full refund for the flight and the same will be confirmed directly to makemytrip when they will process the refund money to them.                           MakeMyTrip — Not returning refund amount

                          I booked tickets for my relatives in Makemy trip from Ahmedabad-Bangalore and Bangalore -Ahmedabad. But they cancelled their plan hence I cacelled the booking. It's been over a month, I haven't received proper settlement from Makemytrip. Still around 14000 rs. is pending from Makemytrip. I read this forum and found that there are so many people who have suffered like me.
                          Every time I call their customer care, they escalate the complain and give me time line. It varies from 5 working days to 72 hours. But nothing happened. They are just cheating on me.

                          If Makemytrip is not serious about their business they should stop harrasing cutomers and close the shutter. It's pathetic service experience by Makemytrip and I have decided I will never ever book through Makemytrip henceforth.

                          MakeMyTrip — Refund Not Processed After 2 Months

                          Ref above booking ID, I had cancelled the return leg of the booking through Go-Air on the 28th of Feb, 2011 and I was told refund would be processed within 4-5 working days into my Travel Agent's account.

                          I called up Go Air after a month to check on the status of refund. They said it had been refunded already to Makemytrips account within 5 days of cancellation.

                          I called up Makemytrip the same day, March 29th, and was informed THE CUSTOMER NEEDS TO GIVE A CALL TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THE FUNDS ARE REFUNED INTO YOUR ACCOUNT. I am sorry to inform you if that is the way your process works, and if the customer forgets to give you a call, you sit on the customer's money forever, I AM NEVER BOOKING WITH YOU GUYS AGAIN AND I'LL MAKE SURE A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOWS ABOUT THIS PATHETIC PROCESS AND SERVICE.

                          If that wasn't enough, your customer service representative I talked with on March 29th said the funds would be refunded in 5 working days. And you know what? IT IS STILL NOT REFUNDED AS ON 3RD MAY, 2011 , PROBABLY BECAUSE YOUR EXTREMELY EFFICIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM FORGOT TO PROCESS IT.

                          So here I am, more than 2 months after cancelling an air ticket and I am still awaiting refund from you. KUDOS TO EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                                Hi, I had cancelled my tickets on 17th January and was told that someone would contact me for my accout details within 24hrs. For 3days i did not receive any call so on the 21st Jan I called makemytrip and sent them my wire transfer account details via mail. I was told that my amount would be reimbursed within 15 days. I have called makemytrip some 4-5 times since then and everytime they say it is in process and someone will call you regarding the same. I never receive any call and its been more than a month but I haven't received my reimbursement or any positive reply from their side. Everytime I call them I waste 10-15 minutes of my time and it is really causing a problem because it is a big amount.

                                MakeMyTrip — No Refund after 6 months

                                Its been six months since we cancelled out tickets. MakeMyTrip did not refund them till now. I have been calling them every other week for a status updated and from six months they are telling me the same line 'We need to contact accounts department' - Will it take six months for them to contact their own accounts department ????
                                I complaint needs to be filed on this company.
                                this is a hopeless travel agency. they are out to cheat people. thay should change their company name to"CheatMyTrip.com"

                                Make My Trip — no refund yet

                                Hi All,

                                I had tried to book a ticket from NDLS to ALD from MakeMyTrip.com but twice the process got stuck at the payments page . When I checked my account I was deducted for the transaction although no ticket was booked. My transaction IDs is RAL[protected].. the payment still pending although I have made hundreds of phone calls to them and every time the same answer 'Sir this time please wait 48 working hours and you will surely get a reply or a refund'but no Refund yet. .They are not concerened at all...please help me out..as i am closing my account from that bank in 5 days and i want the refund within 5 days....thanku...

                                Make My Trip — No refunds

                                I had booked a To and fro airlines Ticket Through this service where in i canceled one side ticket via their service . the cancellation was done by there personal but since then no refunds has been recieved till now. The Ticket No: NF[protected].

                                Please Look into the matter

                                Make My Trip — No refund of Amount

                                I booked my ticket from Chennai-Patna and Patna-Chennai under booking ID NF[protected]. On 23rd of Apr. i requested them through mail that you are providing me journey on my required day then cancel my all ticket under mentioned booking ID. But they cancel tickets from Chennai- Patna not Patna-Chennai.

                                They haven't return my booking amount yet. And also they are responding properly.
                                I Shri Santabir Tamang is hereby stating that on 1st of this month I was trying to booked a train ticked From Dibrugarh to New Jalpaiguri from four different booking ID. At the same time the total amount charges for four times between the two had been deducted from my SBI Account but did not dispense a ticked... and sent a message that the deducted amount will be refunded within 7-14 days, thereafter I had make contact to the customer care at phone for three to four times and they too assured for refund. On 8/9/11, two amount have been refunded but two more amount is to be refunded that didn, t refunded till now. So my heartiest pleading is to refund as soon as possible... my trusted on the company will remain forever.

                                  To the management make my trip
                                  Good morning

                                  Received vouchers sent in yourthe below maildated 10/02/2013

                                  However i would like to express my deep displeasure regarding the following

                                  Four tofive incidents

                                  1) indica car provided without a/c functioning from first dayitself

                                  Temperatures of 46 degrees at cochin almost transformed us into ahot bolied

                                  Potato with car driverignoring our complaints and not informing the car owner

                                  About radiator leakages, fan belt not proper nor air conditioning not working at all for almost four days were wasted without doing any proper sightseeing since most of the journeytime was wasted in car repairs or tyre bursting on the fourth day was the height of all.

                                  2) at the height at hotel lake view plaza. Driver suresh next morning without informing us handed over his responsibility of taking us to pagoda resort

                                  Paying non a/c fare to the driver who told usthat he would drop us at pagoda resort, allepy only and his job was over we were left with no car on arriving at pagoda resort as soon as the havala driver leftin morning at 10.00 am

                                  Then the whole day we had to stay in hotel without any sightseeing.,

                                  3) there also at pagoda resort, allepyanother surprise was in store waiting for us.

                                  The manager refused to give us any room because the booking was not done nor

                                  Did he receive any mail from make my trip or vidushi kara. He was very rude to us.

                                  Without money transfer we waited for three hours at the rception almost dead tired

                                  Immediately we spoke to one of your representative of make my trip regarding the mess, who later called the hotel manager of pagoda resort, allepley.

                                  Only after money was received by the hotel we were given the room at the mercy

                                  Of the manager who thought we had not paid any money for hotelroom booking

                                  In advance.

                                  Then we were provided with a car next day afternoon where we checked out

                                  Of pagoda resort for another hotel stay atallepley beach resort hotel

                                  Without doing any sight seeiing or local journeyon that day.
                                  4) then mr akesh driver was alloted tou us when hardly three to four days of the tourwas left and we proceeded to kovalam beach for three days.

                                  5) on the last day of night stay at hotel mr akesh informed that we will no longer

                                  Be our driver on 02/20/2013 - saturday by calling us at 10.00 pm

                                  We were worried about the next day 03/03/2012 for catching our flight to bombay

                                  Without any mode of transport and help from car owner, we informed him at 10:30 pm

                                  When he assured that he will arrange for a car the next day at 11.00 am

                                  This was a very horrible experience for us for booking the tour with
                                  Travel agent make my trip

                                  Since almost half the journey - 5 days we were provided non a/c car, i should be

                                  Given refund of rs 10, 000/- out of the rs 20, 000/- paid by us for a/c car for 10 days

                                  Without prejudice. Awaiting your positive reply via e-mail

                                  As on date. The management is not at all interested in attending the
                                  Consumer compliant.
                                  We have been charged for services not rendered for 5 days
                                  Against payment of rs 25, 000/- towards ac car hire charges.
                                  Make my trip is also charging almost 50% extra for room booking
                                  Charges at hotels and resorts and the gullible customer has to
                                  Shelve out almost the double charges of the tour costs

                                  Please clarify immediately

                                  Make my trip has cheated us and not replying to any of our mails sent
                                  To them - from feb., 2013 onwards till date we have sent many e-mails
                                  But no response so far. The management is sitting tight over the issue
                                  The complaint has been lodged on their complaint corner net site
                                  But they same is not attended so far as on date 23/06/2013
                                  Highhandedness and no response does not suit a reputed company
                                  Who does not care for customer relationship and valued customer approach is lacking. Really shame on the management policy

                                  Duplicate Name in tickets

                                  There is technical bug in Makemytrip site - where by the passenger name is duplicated. This problem happens if the passenger selects from the MMT passenger list.
                                  If you call there Customer care, they are arrogant in replying back to cancel the ticket. This gives opportunity to MMT to make money while cancellations.

                                    I have launched a complaint at customer service at makemytrip.

                                    I would reiterate,
                                    The bus that was supposed to start at 10:30pm is still (at 00:30am) at its boarding point.

                                    The time to reach Ahmedabad is mentioned as 5:30am im ticket which driver now says will be 10:30am and mention that it is regular time. Whole of my further journey will be in jeopardy.

                                    The helper is completely drunk and he agrees to that saying that there is no risk/problem as he is not going to drive. We called the owner and his reply was - "jo hota hai karle"

                                    The complaint is not only abut me but so many passengers who would be travelling at risk of their life with this bus operator (Ashok Travels - Jain) where the drivers are totally drunk and irresponsible. Inspite of so many compliants to MakeMyTrip, they have not taken up any action, But on the other hand, that operator is still operating with them.

                                    Please think twice/thrice or more before you book anything with MakeMyTrip... It could be devastatingly different than promised.

                                      Horrendous, Ruthless, In-Sensitive, Non-Cooperative, Rude Treatmen

                                      I had redeemed my payback card on the makemytrip website on 17th feb 2013-sunday morning

                                      I had redeemed 15,800 points (INR 3750), for which payback has sent an order id on sms. order id-911166

                                      to avail of my discount which was Rs.3,950, MMT staff informed me that i need a e-voucher code which would be emailed by the payback team

                                      As payback call centre operates only till 7pm , I had to wait for 10 hours now to speak with their team, this is the most shocking bit

                                      When in conversation with the payback personnel (RAJAN CHETRI), I was informed that the evoucher is generated by MMT and they should have emailed it to me.

                                      I, then initiated a conference call between MMT, Payback and myself, At first Ms.Nisha from MMT tells me blatantly to put this down on email and they will take 24 hrs to revert.

                                      My only question to the above is"Why should i email, please call your senior"

                                      After waiting for 5-7 minutes Mr Rahul, supposedly the floor supervisor intervenes and warns me on the way i speak, WOW!!!
                                      He then put me on hold, comes back and tells me that the evoucher code would be emailed to me asap.
                                      Also informs me that as per policies if a customer does not get an evoucher code immediately, he will receive it within 24 hours.

                                        With reference to No. mentioned above I booked a ticket for Kolkata to Delhi in Flight No:Jet Lite S2-3290 which was schedule to depart on 15:00 and I already planned for onward Journey through Railways, as earley as 28th December, 2012. On 26th Jan, 2013 to my surprise, I received a communication from MakeMyTrip about its rescheduled/Changed to Jet Lite S2-4543, to depart 17:50 and it will arrive Delhi at 8.05 pm, then how I shall be able to avail my onward journey through Railways?
                                        Please let me know why there is no provision of exemption of alteration/cancellation fees here, as a consumer why I shall pay for alteration/cancellation of flights, for which I was not responsible.
                                        In future M/s MakeMyTrip must be directed to mentioned time & schedule of flights may change along with flight Nos. clearly, so that recurance may not happen.
