THIS IS TO INFORM U THAT I WAS PROMISED FOR FIRST CLASS AC FARE FOR FOUR PASSENGERS TO ANY DESTINATION IN INDIA BY THE MAKE MY TRIP AGENCY. I PAID AN AMOUNT OF Rs 5999/- FOR THE MMT HOLIDAY SAVER PROGRAM THAT I RECEIVED ON 31st OCTOBER 2009.OVER THE TELEPHONE I CLARIFIED FROM THEM IF IAM SUPPOSED TO PAY ANY MONEY APART FROM THIS AT THE TIME OF BOOKING .THEY TOLD ME ,NO.THIS IS THE ONLY AMOUNT I HAVE TO PAY.BUT WHEN I RECEIVED THE VOUCHER AND I WENT THROUGH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH WERE NOT TOLD TO US OVER THE TELEPHONE I REALISED THAT THERE IS LOT OF DISPARITY IN WHAT THEY TOLD AND WHAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SPEAK TO THEM SINCE THEN BUT THE CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE ASKED ME TO WRITE TO AN EMAIL AS THEY THEMSELVES WERE NOT AWARE OF ANY THING. BUT INSPITE OF REGULAR REMINDERS AND WARNINGS THEY ARE NOT REPLYING MY EMAIL.THEN THEY ALSO SAY THAT THE PERIOD BETWEEN 20 DEC AND 25 JAN THIS OFFER CANNOT BE AVAILED ,THEN WHY ARE THEY INCLUDING THIS PERIOD IN THE PROGRAM.THESE WERE THE HASSLES IAM FACING.THIS HAS DISTURBED MY LIFE TOTALLY.IN MY BUSY SCHEDULE I HAVE TO DO THIS EXTRA WORK OF TRYING THEIR NUMBER AND THEN WRITING EMAIL TO THEM AND THEY DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO REPLY MY MAIL EVEN ONCE.ONLY AUTOMATIC MAILS ARE COMING WHICH ARE NOT PROVIDING ANY SOLUTION.
MY REQUEST IS THAT THEY SHOULD REFUND MY WHOLE AMOUNT WHICH THEY TOOK FROM ME AND KEEP THEIR PACKAGE WITH THEM .IAM NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR PROGRAMS ANYMORE BECAUSE IT IS BASED ON FALSE PROMISES.

    My name is Pradeep Vasudevan. I booked a couple ticket + Hotel combo offer on Makemytrip.com for 28 Feb 2010 which included airfare and hotel charge which came around 18063.

    Destination: Lucknow to Goa
    Booking ID: FPH8315628
    Booking Date: Dec 7, 2009

    When I completed my booking I realised that my name was appearing twice for the airline and hotel booking. I mistakenly skipped the option where I had to fill up the second passengers name. So the system took my name as the default and both the tickets were booked on my name. The system should not have allowed me to book the ticket if I had not put the second name or atleast should have shown an alert.

    As I had to travel with my wife, and the ticket not having her name would not allow to travel with me. My name was appearing twice in the list. In vain I contacted Makemytrip customer care telling them that my name is appearing twice and I need to change it. They said this cannot be changed. So, I was asked to contact indigo and spicejet airlines. But the airlines refused to change the name as it was not there policy. But the itinery clearly showed my name twice. How can one single person travel twice in the same plane?

    So, I was routed back to MakeMyTrip.com. This episode took one hour and finally the customer care told me that as this is a combo offer I would have to cancel the flight and hotel booking together. I was charged around Rs 4250 as charges for not putting the second name.

    I beleive this is totally a fraud being done with consumers. The system should be designed in such a way as to avoid these irregularities. It should have alerts telling the customer to put the second passengers name or it shoud not proceed further.
    Because of this flaw in the booking system I have lost valuable hard earned money.

    If I can get my this amount reimbursed and the website corrected. It would be a great help to me as well as to others who use online booking systems.

    With reference to your post above, our system is designed in a way that a customer cannot complete an online transaction without filling in the passenger details for the air tickets. We have checked our web logs of your online activity and found that you filled in your name in the fields for both the first and second passenger.

    Since this was an inadvertent oversight on your part, as a goodwill gesture, MakeMyTrip has processed a refund of Rs. 1250 paid as service fees towards cancellation. The amount will reflect in your account within 5 business days.

      COMPLAINT AGAINST MAKEMYTRIP.COM AND

      SHIFTTHOUGHTS CONSULTING



      Dear Sir/Madam,

      1. I was offered a holiday booking from makekytrip.com under the Great Indian Festival Offer by Mr Rakesh Kumar Mittal and Mr Kshitij of Shiftthoughts Consulting on 17 Nov 2009 vide transaction ID – 6422 and promised a holiday package as follows:-

      (a) Destination - Goa

      (b) Duration – 3 Nights and 4 days

      (c) Accommodation – Five star/ four star hotel

      (d) Transportation – Pickup and drop from/at airport/ railway station and one destination visit daily.

      (e) Travel – AC First Class Ticket in train for husband & wife and two kids from home station to destination (will be provided by company)

      (f) Food – Breakfast, lunch and dinner on all days

      (g) Other benefits as given in coupons and covered under offer.


      2. An amount of Rs. 7720/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Only) was charged from me under the offer. I was told that I have been selected among thousands of customers for this special offer as a special customer and the package actually costs more than Rs. 28,000/- to company but is being offered to me on concessional rates because of selection as a special customer. I was told that the offer will be available to Goa even in the last week of December and there will not be any additional/ hidden charges other than what has already been charged from me. I was also advised to book my holiday once I receive the welcome pack.



      3. I received the welcome pack on 02 Dec 2009. When I contacted the numbers provided in the voucher to book my holiday, I was told at first by Ms Monica and later by Mr Ajai that there is no such offer admissible to me and moreover no bookings can be made through my vouchers between 20 Dec to 25 Jan. I spoke to Mr Ravi of makekytrip on 04 Dec, who assured me that my case will be addressed within a day or two, if not my money will be returned. Later in the day, Mr Kshitij of Shiftthoughts contacted me on phone and informed that accommodation is available in Hotel Park Plaza at Goa and my booking can be made.



      4. I have not received any further communication in this regard till now. I request you to please expedite my booking as me and my wife have already got our leaves sanctioned from 23 Dec to 31 Dec 2009 and a booking in between these days only will suit us. Please also address the areas of such ambiguities to avoid unnecessary litigations at consumer court and innocent customers should not feel cheated. Please inform me expeditiously about my booking or refund. Thank you.

      ETRAVEL POINT — refund not received

      respected sir/mam,
      This is bantosh kumar from delhi.On 25th of march this year i booked my ticket along with my friend nisheeth kumar from chennai to kolkata of 18th may in the flight 6E-523 with the booking PNR-P1DGCP from TAKE OFF TRIP.Due to my personal problems i cancelled my ticket on 17th may with the cancelled PNR-X2M9EM and my friend nisheeth travelled on his ticket.I booked my ticket from a travel agent whose address is given below :

      But till now i haven't received my refund. when i called and mailed indigo airlines they sent me the message that my refund of Rs.1472 has been refunded to the travel agent on 17th May itself, but the travel agent is denying the fact and is not willing to refund the money and i am running behind the travel agent from that day itself.

      Following is my complaint against makemytrip.com and shiftthoughts consulting who are cheating around innocent people of the country without any fear or control.

      I m also facing the same problem
      They had given me a package of rs. 7719 but now i cann't use them.
      I don't knoe what is happening.
      i received a call on[protected] from[protected] which claimed to be from makemytrip. i was informed that i had been selected for some offer on redeem vouchers, the person on line had all the details of my last transaction with makemytrip( flight tickets patna-mumbai on[protected] and mumbai-patna on[protected], dhanraj devi). i made a payment using hdfc credit card for the amount rs7719.90, the bank confirmed that the amount has been debited towards payment to SHIFTTHOUGHTS CONSULT AT 6.23 PM ON[protected], but the person on line( supposedly makemytrip representative) denies any such transaction. i want my money back. how can you share all details with third parties?
      The same issue happened with me today :-( how make my trip can share the details with third party.
      Oh my God, i dont believe i m cheated, this is Samresh Gahatraj...i am a Kidney Transplant patient...today (August 12, 2010) i recieved a call from [protected] at around 2:00pm, there was a lady who said she was from Makemytrip.com and told me that i was one of the 115 people selected for recieving some redeem vouchers which would last me a year and that i would be able to book my airtickets and also do shopping with these, told me about the packages and also that it actually costs more than Rs.28000/- and i have it for around Rs.6000/-...what drew me the most was that she told me i could even buy medicines with these, then the call was transferred to another lady who claimed to be from customer care or something, the line wasnt very clear, she guided me through the payment procedure, also asked for my postal address, told me that the welcome kit would be dispatched to me on that address, as i was told that i could even buy medicines with these, i didnt have any 2nd thought and proceeded with the payment, i paid using my SBI internet banking account and the amount was credited to SHIFT THOUGHTS CONSULTING PVT.LTD, PASCHIM VIHAR, DELHI AXIS BANK, Account no.[protected] amount Rs.6, 622...then finally after the payment was done, she told me that she would call me back after 5 hours to confirm my postal address and also give me some more information, but i didnt get the call even after 6 hours, so i just kept waiting for the call but just in vain, then i finally thought of calling the no. myself and found that it wasnt possible to reach that no. then i felt something was wrong and started to check online about the makemytrip and shift thoughts consulting thing...and was SHOCKED to see that i've been cheated...lots already cheated before me...oh my god!! its just a year since my kidney transplant now and m taking almost Rs.40, 000/-per month worth of medicines now, and belonging to a middle class family i am really struggling for my medicines as i have a govt.job with a meager salary and every penny counts for me as i am alive just coz m taking these medicines and this Rs.6600 can get me a box of my costly medicines which will last me for almost 2 weeks...please get me my money back for i have to buy my medicines!!! paid a price for being so innocent!!! please help!!!
      well, its me Samresh Gahatraj again...one day later...really had a sigh of relief this morning when they called me back and made everything clear to me...they told they didnt call me yesterday evening as they didnt receive my payment then!! i saw that it was actually a genuine promotional campaign by makemytrip, saw everything on their website...i received the email regarding full information on the benefits i am going to get out of the vouchers and also the conformation email on my payment received by them...so now that i am clear about the matter, i take my complaint back...thanks!!
      The same thing happened to me today. I have got a call from SHIFT THOUGHTS CONSULTING PVT.LTD. They were claiming the same offer from make my trip.com. They give me the same account number AXIS BANK, Account no.[protected] amount Rs.6, 616. After transferring the money to that account nobody called me back. The concerned person told me that I will be contacted within 5 minutes after transferring the money. This is disgusting. They should be punished for this reason. They are making the whole system unreliable.
      Dear People,

      I was approached my ShiftThoughts to buy a package which would give me following benefits.

      a) Vouchers that would give me Rs.500 discount per domestic ticket as long as I was part of the travel itinerary.
      b) Voucher that would give me.Rs.1000 discount per international ticket. These said vouchers were non-transferable.
      c) Discount card which would fetch me discount at various domestic and international hotels.
      d) One free Reebok watch

      First Complaint : My first complaint is that Shifthoughts took longer time to send the package. After sending threatening emails to lodge a police complaint makemytrip sent me the package, but the watch was local make by Optima(I am sure it was cheaper version).

      please note this offer was published on makemytrip website in the following link: http://www.makemytrip.com/promotion/great-indian-festive-offer.php under the title "The Great Indian Festival offer".

      So I trusted this was a genuine offer by Makemytrip and I paid for it vide my credit card.

      Second complaint:I want to redeem the voucher for my family travelling to Goa along with me. As stated on the voucher I cannot book the ticket onlineand use the voucher to get the discount. It was clearly stated to call up a telephone number[protected] and avail the benefits of the voucher.

      Now to my surprise-No one on the number specified including the call centre of Make my trip knew anything about the voucher.

      I got on a call with Jasminder Singh and Pratik Chaudhary. Who foolishly asked me to call the person who sold the vouchers to me. One of the girls at the call centre was very clear she is into sales and not handle client complaints. So I asked her to transfer the line to grievances unit, she said she did not know if such kind o[censored]nit existed.

      Now I have a set of vouchers which I want to use for my Family's trip to Goa and I cannot use because there is no means to use the voucher.

      I am hopping to get some one from Make my trip understand the operational issues and address my requirement at the earliest, Before i lodge a complaint in consumer court and pull them for various Mis presentation that are being dolled out by Makemytrip.com

      Third complaint: This is not a complaint but just to highlight the misrepresentation that Makemytrip does and takes people for a ride.

      I see an advertisement on thier site which states "Buy one Get One Free". In reality Make my trip only provides Rs.1000/- off on the second ticket. Is someone looking into such false promises on the advertisement because this is a clear case of misrepresentation by a company registered in India.

      My Name is Panduranga Swamy.G, i am from Hyderabad, today morning i have received a call from your Executive with the number of[protected] Regarding the Discount card and after we had a discussion about the same. following things she informed me.

      1) This is absolutely free without annual fee and without charges.
      2) You can get 20% discount in all your Credit Card Transaction in all over India (except Petrol & Diesel)
      3) Also you can get Rs.18500/- worth of free gift voucher.
      4) Also you can get 2 days 3 nights 3&5 star hotel accommodation free.

      In this conversation, she is not yet discussed about charges and fees, also she told that, you will receive a conformation call.

      During the discussion i also asked her how i can get all this free? So she replied that, We had a Tie-up with HDFC and your are the privileged customer to HDFC bank, so you can get all this as a selected customer.

      Also she told that, Before getting the conformation call, you have to get 6 Digits Pin number from your bank for doing the process. For the that, she instructed to follow as (by sending the SMS with the following hints (PWD Credit card last 4 digits) by sending to 5676712). I done the same, again she called me and taken the massage receipt conformation.

      After some time i got the call from his superior with following number[protected], and he also informed the same things and he informed me to hold some time to get the HDFC server connection and afterwards he told to follow the instruction.

      I have followed the instruction, while following the instruction i have entered my Credit Card 16 digits number and as well as my credit card expiry date. During this process, server auto call asking about my CVV number, than i got stuck-up, that time, your person instructed to put CVV number, than i asked him, why i need to put my Credit Card CVV number ? but he said that, it is just to finish the process, after completion of this, in my credit card an amount of Rs.6399/- was debited, so i have seen that, and asked your officer, it is free but why it is charged to my account, than, your executive told sorry, and he is saying that, i thought my earlier executive would have informed you regarding this charges.

      Even i have told him to not to process, but he told that, it is not possible.if you want know the facts, just cross check with your cal records.

      And also requested HDFC credit card customer care to not process the amount, so they are instructed me to keep informed to merchant regarding this cancellation. Hence I am informing you this cancellation.

      All this conversations has been recorded in my tele recorded, so if you are not going to resolve my problem, i will go by law in consumer court with all proofs.

      Please, i am requesting you to cancel the same. i don't want any free cards and discount cards.
      I hope you have understood my problem and you are going to resolve it.

      Renew of HDFC Credit Bank Card

      this is to inform that I have got a call on 29th november 2012.

      They asked me all the information for HDFC Credit Card like
      credit card no
      expiry date
      cvn no

      on the pretext of Verifying my Details for ISSUING OF new HDFC Credit Card
      by one week.

      When i gave all the details, within 5 min i received sms from HDFC Credit Card.
      which says:

      "your transaction on HDFC Bank Credit Card for 6399.00 at SHIPTHOUGHTS CONSULTI is declined "

      I Still do not know why they have used my details for doing the TRANSACTION ON the Web.

        Hi,

        I have booked ticket from Mumbai to Melbourne on 9 November 2009 through Make My Trip,and while booking one of the employee swiped my credit card twice,and he promised me that I will get the refund for the amount in 10-12 working days,its more than a month now since I have done the booking,and I have not yet got my refund of Rs. 21970(ticket amount) and my cashback amount of Rs.1000.

        I am following up with them since then,but they are just telling me it will be done,but nothing is done yet.

        The amount of Rs. 19, 970 has been reversed on your credit card account used at the time of booking. The amount of Rs. 2, 000 has already been credited to your account as Cash Back.

        Make My Trip — Credit card swiped twice

        I had booked a international ticket vide MakeMyTrip Booking ID FLTINT[protected] on 27/04/10. My card had been swiped twice. On inquiring with make my trip my complaint was registered with complaint no. IN1004R0073084 wherein one Mr. Gaurav confirmed that the card was wrongly swiped twice and promised that the entry will be reversed within 72 hours. After one week also the same has not been reversed.
        Calling make my trip is not helping

          We bought shiftthought voucher which can be used for domestic holiday travel by paying Rs 6500. Following are thed details

          Voucher Number: 001060 (MMTSTJUL6k)
          Name of the Buyer: Nivedita Roy

          They told that availing this, we can redeem this voucher for booking upto 9000 Rs. Their agent also repeatedly told us that this voucher can also be used for air travel booking. Now when we tried to redeem the voucher for air travel booking they are denying the fact and saying that the voucher can be used only for hotel booking. I request to lodge complain against them and aware the customer not to fall in their trap.

Now when I am planning to use the same they are telling me a different story that I can use it only for hotels.And the funniest part is that one day before they told i can use the voucher for both hotel as well as air tickets and next day the new story.I request you to educate your representatives well ahead before selling such vouchers so that the innocent customers doesnt feel traped at the end. I dont know why this sort of big communication gap among the representives but I cant delay my holiday plans because of your mistake.I am really depressed with the sort of cheating you are making to your regular customers and request you not to test my patience anymore.
          So either you book my holiday plans accordingly along with the fare or reimburse my entire amount asap.I want a quick action as I dont want to pay for your mistakes and above all the flight prices are going high everyday.

Till yesterday I have been told that I can use this voucher for air ticket booking as well but today I have been informed that I can not use this for air ticket booking and it is only meant for hotel booking.



          As a responsible merchant, I request you to go back and listen to the conversation which your representative had with us in which he repeatedly told that we can use this voucher for air travel booking as well. While explaining the terms and condition also he emphasized again and again that this voucher can be used also for air ticket booking.



          I am unable to understand now, is this thing happened by mistake or this has been done intentionally as a market strategy of selling this voucher more and more.

          In both the case we are the sufferer.



          I am sorry to say, in this circumstances and terms and condition which you are imposing on us now, we do not want to use this voucher and we want full refunded of our money. If you still want us to use this voucher then as it has been explained to us by your representative while selling this voucher, we want to use it for air travel booking as well.



          And in any case if you feel yoursel[censored]nable to fulfill this request, I will be forced to take this matter to consumer court.

          This is with reference to the Shiftthoughts Voucher sold trough Make My Trip.com My voucher No. is 000363 MMTSTJUL6K VALID UPTO[protected]

          When the agent called me he promised me the following.
          1) 7 Days Vacation at any 5 star Hotel in India ( affiliated with MMT)
          2) 2nd AC Return Train ticket to the desired destination.
          3) AC taxi from Station to Hotel and back.
          4) AC taxi for local sight seeing
          5) Food and Beverages, Juices, Chocolates everything included.
          6) Free MMT Membership Card at no extra cost.
          7) Free male and female watch.
          8) After paying Rs.6616/- I will have to pay nothing at the hotel for my stay and food.

          I would like to inform everyone that I am very badly cheated by MMT and they have made a fool of me. When I received the voucher, I got the shock of my life. I came to know that the value of the voucher is only Rs.9000/- and that will be adjusted against my package which I book with them.

          After this I sent them many emails trying to clarify the matter, but got no reply. Then I started calling to their helpline number [protected]. Then I came to know the facts of the voucher. When I told them that I was promised something else they said that I would have misunderstood. I talked to their Customer Executive Ms.Sneha. For the first few days she tried ot prolong the matter, but then she told me that she will hear the call log and inform me whether I am right or wrong. She never called me, but I kept my follow up. Then she forwarded my call to Mr.Samir (Manager). He also did the same. But 2 days ago Sneha told me that there was a mis commitment made by their agent and he has been terminated and my money will be refunded.
          But they also told that they will give my the call log. Now Mr.Nikunj (Manager Operations) has told me that the call log is for internal purpose and he cannot give it to me.

          This shows that they have surely cheated me and that is the reason they are refunding me the money. The reason I am writing this is, I want to know how many people have been promised the way I was and how many were cheated and money collected. If MMT feels that I am wrong then they give me the call logs and prove that I am wrong. If they prove that I will not use the voucher and also not take the refund.

          They seem to be the cheater of the highest order and doing their job quite comfortably. It seems that makemytriop.com is a party to this fraud and they need to be taught a lesson of their life. I am a victim of similar cheating. I paid Rs. 7720/- for a three night and 4 days package at Goa including travel, boarding & lodging in a four star hotel, taxi for site seeing and other facilities for which I will not have to pay anything extra at all. They only will get my travel and holiday bookings and send the tickets and vouchers to me. What I actually got were simple redemption vouchers of Rs. 7000/- for domestic holiday and of Rs.10, 000/- for international holiday which I never asked for nor intended. The agents who promised me all this were Mr Rakesh Mittal and Mr Kshitij. They have disappeared now from the contacts of the agency and it is only Ms Neha who always picks up the phone and never extends any help. One day Mr Sameer also spoke to me and said he will look into my grievance but did nothing. I am disgusted and seeking any help from anybody who can help me and fix these cheaters. Is there any forum in this country which can hold them accountable and answerable? PLEASE HELP ME.

          Yesterday itself i paid 7720/- for great indian festival tour offer.I transfered the amount through net banking and infact at that time when i opted that offer i was very happy that i made a good deal.After reading all the above complaints from so many customers, i really ashamed of what i have done.Being educated persons if we get cheated by them, what about the remaining people who does not know how to follow up to get their money back.

          The same thing happened to me today. I have got a call from SHIFT THOUGHTS CONSULTING PVT.LTD. They were claiming the same offer from make my trip.com. They give me the same account number AXIS BANK, Account no.[protected] amount Rs.6, 616. After transferring the money to that account nobody called me back. The concerned person told me that I will be contacted within 5 minutes after transferring the money. This is disgusting. They should be punished for this reason. They are making the whole system unreliable.
          Make my trip .com has cheated me in the name of shift thoughts vouchers. Without my permission they deducted a sum of rs 6617 from my credit card by means of IVR System.
          Please help me to get back the money.
          There is another fraud company folated called the 'CLUB LEISURE'. I have been cheated . Please beware and get them to book !

            I am highly unsatisfied due to the services and level of loyalty being provided to the customers of makemy trip for the above mentioned tickets I booked my honeymoon travel Bali and Manyasia, my flight had to depart from Delhi Airport at 23.35 hrs at night on October 3, 2009. But in the morning called at the customer care help line of Malaysian airline and got to know that my flight from KLIA to Bali MH-851 cancelled and converted into MH - 853, as I was already suffering due t reducing platelets count and was not able to do with the mentioned flight and due to the same reason i had to cancel my entire trip. initially they kept of assuring us and know they have offered me to take the amount 20,000 out of the Hotel booking of 50,000 approx and according to them the airline can extend my tickets to Jan 15, 2010, which is useless for me I need full refund for my travel including entire hotel booking, I booked my entire package including Airport Transfers, Sightseeing, Tours, 3 Dinners all 8 night Breakfast, and i have not availed anything, they are charging me 30,000 out of 50000 of my entire tour, the maximum amount which the Hotels can charge is 1st night stay, Till now i as was pursing the same through my agent makemytrip.com, for my refund of my package amount from you and the response from their side is that you can extend my tickets to January 15,2010, it is highly unacceptable, i can't do with it as my entire trip got spoiled because of this and now for me it’s not possible to use it as I am involved in CWG Delhi 2010 and it’s not possible for me go anywhere till next year. Hence I would request you to process my full refund. Although.
            I expect my full airfare refund from Makemytrip.com for my tickets and Hotel booking mentioned above.

            My query is through Makemytrip i was allotted a confirmed ticket for
            Airindia flight no 9611 on 16/3/11.When i reached the Airport i was
            told by Airindia authority that this flight is withdrawn 6 month

              No:1 fraud website... people please please do not use this website to book ticket... till now i did not get the reponse for my email & complaints this is my incident happend to me...
              Due to lack of time for transit flight (one hour time) transit flight to mh-9191 from kul, i have missed the flight and there is no one to help me over there in kl airport. (one of the biggest airport – kuala lumpur)

              In the make my trip website, i have booked the air ticket from penang to chennai in malaysian airlines. the ticket details mentioned as pen – kul mh1133 (6.40 am – 7.40 am) and kul – maa mh 9191 (8.40 am – 10.00 am) with one hour transit time in kul, but this connecting flight is operating by jet airways and they have not mentioned in website or in e-ticket.
              When i get down kl airport (pen-kul) i rushed to malaysian airlines counter to collect my boarding pass mh9191, but they told this is jet airways operating flight and again i rushed up with my luggage & hand luggage i went to jet airways counter by 8.10 am and there is no one in the counter when i enquired about them they told its already closed, you go & enquired in jet airways office, went to jet airways office and asked they told this is not our mistake and you have to be in time at least 1.50 before but i do not how you this idoit have issued me the ticket with one hour transit time?
              Malaysian airlines & jet airlines not interested to change my ticket also to come back india and again i have booked new ticket to come chennai.

                I booked ticket from Delhi to Lucknow from Make my trip booking reference number FLT[protected] worth Rs 3487 on 28/11/2009.

                however, money got debited from my account without providing ticket, when i called up customer care to confirm the status, i was told that same will be refunded to you with in 2 days which is not been given to me.

                01st Dec 2009 - I called up again to confirm the status and i was told that same will come to your Back account by end of the day.

                02nd Dec 2009 - I called up again when my call was disconnected.
                02nd Dec 2009 - I called up and was on phone for almost 35 minutes.
                02nd Dec 2009 - I called up 03rd time to ask for refund and check the status but I was told that it will take another 3 - 4 working days. when i talk about customer service my call was disconnected.

                Kindly look in to this and take appropriate action.

                Yesterday (April 06. 2010), I have booked air ticket from Kolkata to Visakhapatnam and return at 1.27 pm, journey date was 06/04/2010, so we were in hurry for ticket, at 3.27 pm we called customer care and repeatedly requested them to let us know the reason of pending tickets, but they are also not sure about the fact and told us for fresh booking without canceling the previous, thru net also we were not able to find the status of the ticket, at last we booked the ticket by otherway and again requested them to cancel booking.

                Till now we are not sure about the staus of our said ticket whether it is cancelled or got stuck anywhere and also not very sure about our payment which was done thru credit card.

                Do we have any alternative to know the status of the same.

                  I booked tickets via flt[protected] for 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant for lucknow delhi kingfisher IT 205 on 23-11-09 and paid via credit card for Rs 11948. In morning I took printout with the following airlines pnr No
                  LFCQXP for akshay and Shankuntala
                  GNJMRR for Rajni and Arav
                  How ever on reaching airport we were told that the travel agent MAkemytrip has cancelled the pnr GNMRR for Arav and rajni whereas we were neither informed by yourself through email,sms or call that you have cancelled the said tickets. Then I ahd a talk with your helpline number [protected] with some lady who further put me across with Mr Mayank who agreed for the mistake committed by Makemytrip and said that he would get back by evening with the clarification and refund/compensation. This is a clear case of cheating and forgery. I had to spend Rs 7060 apart fron Rs 11948 payment made to yourself for the last minutes ticket at kingfisher airlines counter.
                  The worst part is that despite my mail no one has contacted me on cell to get the things clarified. The Lady Mrs Shankutala is a high BP and kidney patient and Arav is an infant. So the mental trauma caused is of immense nature. as I feel that MAKEmytrip company has cheated me and indulge in forgery by getting the reservation cancelled from Airline.

                    I had travelled on a holiday package recently thru makemytrip.com. This was my first trip thru MMT. I experienced problems during most part of my trip in terms of poor hotel accomodation against what was commited while booking/payment, uninformed waiting time during hotel check-ins, lack of cooperation from local contacts provided by MMT, long waiting/hold time while making phone calls for help to MMT, lack of information on escalation contacts at MMT, package itinerary was not followed, etc.
                    On returning to Blr, I had written a detailed email about my concerns and also requested for refund for the amount that works out as difference on what was promised and paid for and what was actually provided by MMT.
                    Adding to my frustration, no one has acknowledged my email even on sending repeated reminders while they commit a response within 24 hrs in their auto-reply. I could speak to one of their agents who did my booking. While she promises follow-up with their team, I am not confident of any support from them as I have not recd. any acknowledgement/callback from their side. As I am not finding the right escalation contacts from MMT, neither their staff allow us to speak to their management staff, I am using this forum to help me get attention on this issue and help me with the requested refund.

                      I wanted to avail the prize which I won in make my trip.However, today i was told that my prize was "valid for certain period" and that MMT wont be able to give me the same. I would like to bring to your attention that this information was not brought to my notice earlier and i was told in Feb'09 that i would be able to avail of the prize by Dec'09. Additionally, my prize was worth about Rs 4.5 Lacs but i was also ok to taking the Egypt trip which is about Rs 1 Lacs only.

                        I have booked ticket thru makemytrip.com (booking number 4YXHYP and 4YNKVA) travelling on 4th December. In late October, I received an email providing revised schedule. I sent email on 31st October because with the revised schedule, I found some issues (listed below).

                        1. I have 2 hours and 30 minutes between arrival at LGA airport in NewYork and departure from JFK airport NewYork. In 2.30 minutes, I have to come out of LGA with luggage, change airport (from LGA to JFK) and check in for international flight at JFK. Even if flight arrives ON TIME at LGA, this is going to be a problem.

                        2. One segment of flight is missing (for booking number 4YXHYP). My return flight starts from Hyderabad, which was originally starting at Ahmedabad, India.

                        3. With new schedule below (4YXHYP), arrival on JFK is at 7.20 am and flight from LGA to CHS is on 8.45 am. Within this 1 hour and 25 minutes, I have to come out of the flight, do immigration checkup, take luggage, change airport and check in at LGA. Make mytrip.com gave me some option of evening hours when I called, but I requested to put me in earlier flight (timing nearly close to my original schedule). I was told to send my original iternary, which i emailed to them. Todate, no action.

                        As I did not receive reply, I called Makemytrip. Everytime, I was told to wait for 2 days or 3 days. After the time frame completes, I called again, same reply. Thankfully, last week I received phone call to wait till Wednesday (Nov 16). However, after that I received email mentioning to call them as they have some options for me. When I called, I was told that it is Sunday, and they can not do anything.

                        Everytime, I was reassured that this issues will definately taken care of, as it happened due to change in airline's schedue. However, I don't when.

                        I would respectfully request if someone can help in this matter.

                        I am travelling next week and as of today, I don't have any solution. Before a week or so, I was told that I have confirmed ticket for my departure flight on 4th, however, MMT has not issued the ticket. Everytime I am calling, I was told to wait for 48 hours (quoting tickets have been confirmed by MMT, but not by airlines ). In answer to my question, what will happen if airline doesn't issue the ticket, I was told that I have to take a flight with first option in this posting (meaning I would most likely lose my connection, as I don't have minimum required time of 3 hours b/w LGA and JFK). .
                        In reference to posting number 2 and 3 above, now I have given option. With this option my total travel time is incresed by approximately 14 hours (as compared to when I purchased the ticket). From Ahmedabad to delhi to hyderabad to US (vie bombay i believe, staying almost whole day in hyderabad) . I requested better option, no luck till date.
                        No luck as of today (scheduled travel to India next Friday). On Wed, I was told that within 24 hours I will have ticket issued. Today (Friday), I was told that it would on Monday.
                        I booked my flight tickets for my wife and self from Mumbai to Houston on 30/07/11 and return journey on 15/09/11 from Houston to Dubai and finally from Dubai toMumbai on 29/10/11.
                        I request you to prepone my return date from Houston to Dubai on 14/09/2011 inplace of 15/09/11 i.e by a day. My booking ID no. is NN[protected].Can you help me please ? ...RN Bajaj
                        Why at the first place do MMT have to book tickets, which require change of airports. I am sure none of the other international flight agents book tickets requiring change of airports. I have booked for the first time using MMT, ended up spending 80$ more on a cab from LGA airport in NY to JFK NY.

                          We had booked two roundtrip tickets on 6th november at MakeMyTrip for Delhi-Udaipur sector for 29th November with booking id Booking ID -FLT[protected]. The cost of the first ticket was[protected]+4614)/ while the second ticket was at[protected]+4869). When inquired as to why the tickets were differentially priced (for taxes as well!), the cutomer support told that the two tickets belong to Different Classes although they are both in the Economy Class!. I couldn't make any sense of it and got the second ticket cancelled which costed me Rs.2300.
                          I also couldn't understand that how two websites for the same flight could charge different taxes for the same flight because later i checked on Travelocity that the same ticket was costing 4300 there (my big blunder ....please don't book on makemytrip!) with half the taxes that were charged at Makemytrip.
                          I am attaching the same ticket here. Taxes on Travelocity are 2500 lesser than Makemytrip.

                            I have made booking from Make my trip to Kingfisher airline. Now if I want to cancel the ticket, I have to pay cancellation charges of 750 to airlines and 250 to Agent that is make my trip.com

                            This I think is unfair. When I called KingFisher to cancel my ticket, they say they can't do it. whereas I called make my trip.com and they say if airline can cancel thier ticket then I don't have to pay thier service fee.

                            But due to thier internal connection they are charging me extra 250. Also when I asked KingFisher airline person to give me number/mail id to escalate he said he don't give such number.
                            Which is rude for customer to take.

                            I will say customer care of kingfisher is worst and these allicance between airlines and agent to take unecessary money is Cheating

                              I booked internal India flights with MakeMyTrip.com earlier this year. My booking reference from them was FLT[protected] & the Kingfisher Airlines PNR was CFWNQZ. The outward flight Delhi to Dharamsala was fine, but the airline cancelled the return flight on 29 October without notice. The airline authorities at the airport gave me written authorisation for a full refund which I was told I must obtain from Make My Trip. Since my return to the UK, I have emailed Make My Trip, attaching the refund authorisation, a dozen times, without any sign of a response. I have carefully checked my junk mail folder, so I am sure they have simply not answered my call for refund.

                              I booked domestic ticket through MakeMyTrip.com on 13 feb. 2010. bhopal to delhi. my booking id is FLT [protected]. after booking & payment through net-banking i have receive an e-mail by make my trip and he says dear customer your booking for 13 feb 10 for bhopal to delhi has failed refund will be orocesses in 2 business days. but, the amount is not send in my account till date.
                              I have emailed Make My Trip, attaching the bank statemnet, and phone call dozen times, but they have simply not answered my call for refund.

                                I booked tickets from chennai to Delhi (round trip) through their site www.makemytrip.com, they site was very slow and suddenly it asked me to confirm payment and when I confirmed it charged twice ($787 US).                                   I had cancelled one Booking on 5th Oct 2009. The expected date of my refund coming back to the bank account used by me for transaction was 15th Oct. But it is already 10th Nov and no news of me getting the refund. There phone lines (I dont know what they are really for) are without fail always busy. Which in anyways probably show the number of complaints against them !!
                                  The online tracker for this transaction shows the details of some other account of mine which was never used for this transaction.

                                  i think the company thinks that there job is over once the call centre employee sends an email that the 'Refund is getting Processed' ; but has no responsibility of ensuring that the REFUND GOES BACK ON TIME AND IN THE CORRECT BANK ACCOUNT.

I forced to contact with Makemy trip on[protected] but I have not got any suitable reply / information from Makemy trip too. Makemy Trip advised me contact with Airlines .
                                    Today understood from Delhi IGI Airport , MDLR Airline's IGI airport Counter /office has been closed since 20 days and MDLR has been stoped operation since 20 days from IGI Airport .

                                    I tried to send E- mail to MDLR but the mail has been bounced back and the Telephone No.of MDLR are also not working . Makemy Trip had already charged full amount of ticket to me through my credit Card . Now Makemy Trip is not ready to refund the amount .

                                    I am also going to face the same problem as Mr. Sivaramakrishnan faced. Actually i had booked my MDLR flight through MakeMytrip.com MakeMyTrip Booking ID : FLT[protected] for Delhi to Ranchi for 21st of this month and I one week back I got an sms also i had confirmed at MDLR website about the cancellation of that flight. I had send an e-mail to Makemytrip asking for Refund of my flight amount, but so far no response I got from their part. I dont want to loose my Rs. 4, 903 amount because of Airlines fault.

                                    Mr Deepak got a SMS from MDLR on 30 Oct 2009 that MDLR flight 9H 107 from Kullu to Delhi has been cancelled . The given numbers in SMS for queries are[protected],[protected] and [protected].

                                    I called MDLR Call Centre Executive : Mr Shiv who confirm me that the Full Refund is processed on 31 Oct 2009 (08:18 AM) and you can collect the same with your agent "Kafila Tour & Travels" but when I contact with Kafila Tours & Travels..they didn't give me any suitable reply / information and they just reply me that I will get this refund after some days when they will get the same from MDLRfrom and also advised me contact with MDLR Airlines once again .
                                    Today understood from Delhi IGI Airport, MDLR Airline's IGI airport Counter /office has been closed and MDLR has been stoped operation further.

                                    I'm regularly sending emails and called Kafila Travels many times from 30 Oct 2009 to till date but they are not ready to refund the amount .

                                    Hance, Under the circumsatances you are requested to kindly look in to the matter so that my amount is refunded to me with out delay .

                                      An amount of Rs.4555/- has been charged to my ICICI credit card for which I have not made any transaction. CUstomer Care person told me that it is a system error & amount will be credited back to my card. One month later , nothing has happened. When I called them again, they are unable to track my complaint using the reference number given to me earlier.

                                        I booked two bus ticket for a total of 7 passengers through make my trip.com for my journey from Madurai to Chennai for journey date 25th October, 2009. The PNR numbers are TBBK98883887 for 6 tickets and TBBK82825928 for 1 ticket. The coach operator was Photon Trans Co. and the coach type was Volvo. From the outer look of the bus itself I could sense a foul smell and it seems the driver does not have enough experience to handle a Volvo. The bus left Madurai by 10.10 pm and bvy around 4.30 am next day morning we were stopped by RTO officials near the toll gate after Villuppuram town. The driver stopped the vehicle and fled from the scene. The cleaner was showing some papers to the RTO officials and later the RTO officials informed us that they are siezing the bus since it does not have valid permits. By around 6.15 am one of the RTO driver drew the vehicle to Villupuram RTO office and they dropped us near the Villupuram bus stand. From there we had to find our own transport to reach our final destination. I arranged a Sumo for my family from Villuppuram to Chennai.

                                        It is the responsibility of both the operator and make my trip.com to ensure the passengers are not left stranded on mid way which is purely an operator mistake for not having the proper permits. I request make my trip.com to refund my full fare and also proper compensation for undergoing the trauma.

                                        The total amount of Rs. 3850 will be refunded to your credit card account within 5 business days. Once the refund is processed, we will share a Refund Reference Number, which you can use to follow up with your credit card company. For the amount to actually reflect on your credit card statement is usually dependent on your billing cycle.

                                        Once again, I regret the inconvenience caused to you.

                                        We would appreciate you giving MakeMyTrip an opportunity to assist you with your travel needs again.

                                        I booked internal India flights with MakeMyTrip.com earlier this year. My booking reference from them was FLT[protected] & the Kingfisher Airlines PNR was CFWNQZ. The outward flight Delhi to Dharamsala was fine, but the airline cancelled the return flight on 29 October without notice. The airline authorities at the airport gave me written authorisation for a full refund which I was told I must obtain from Make My Trip. Since my return to the UK, I have emailed Make My Trip, attaching the refund authorisation, a dozen times, without any sign of a response. I have carefully checked my junk mail folder, so I am sure they have simply not answered my call for refund.
