Dear Sir

I had booked one air ticket in the name of Prasun Banerjee through Makemytrip.com.
I had to fly from Raipur to Kolkota on 15th feb 2009.When i reached the Airport and was checking in the airports authority told that their system was not showing the tickets reference which i produced.Finally they told that the ticket was false. I was shocked to learn this, but some how i had to travel since it was emergency, i asked them if they had any seat vaccant, luckily i got one ticket but the cast was was more than double of what i had purchased with makemytrip.Actual cost of the ticket was Rs and i had to pay Rs 9730 for the new ticket.
The details of the fake ticket provided by make my trip is as follows.

Now when i approached makemytrip, they did not reply me satisfactorily.
Sir i had been with lot of tension and mental harrasement and even it has disturbed my life for a while.
I was a matter of joke for tsometime in the Airport.
Sir i request you kind self to do judjement and give me justice and punish the culprit.

I would agree with his statement, as I am also facing the problem of wrong booking by Make my trip and they are not responding for last 6 days. People should not rely upon Makemy trip and I will also check again with airlines, if they really booked the tickets or not.

Air ticket booking through Make my trip — Tickets not issued for few passengers

MakeMyTrip Booking ID - NF[protected]Flight tickets booked for 7 passengers of which 5 adults and 2 infants from Bengaluru to Bagdogra via Kolkata).

I booked the flight tickets from Bengaluru to Bagdogra on Oct 23rd for 7 passengers via Kolkata (travelling on Dec 25th and returning back on Dec 31st). The website showed an amount of Rs. 73404 for the complete package and I went ahead and payed through my citibank account. I got the confirmation from bank indicating the deduction of Rs. 73404 whereas makemy trip sent me an email indicating the deducted amount as 70204 (a difference of Rs. 3200). Whereas at the same time they sent me an SMS indicating the decution of Rs. 73404.

This was just the starting of my problem and when I received the eTickets from they I found out that the infants names were not listed in 2 sectors (Kolkata to Bagdogra and Kolkata back to Bangalore). I called their customer service lines atleast 6 times talking to various agents (eg. Bincy, Shruthi, Ramani, Sudhanshu and what not) everyone of them assured me that the ticket would be updated and be reflected in 3 to 4 hrs time (after keeping me on hold for long ofcourse). Until now nothing has happenned and I have sent them an email with details to their email id "[protected]@makemytrip.com" and atleast 3 reminders but with no response from them. I wonder if they have functional customer support department.
I booked a air ticket through make my trip on dated 20/oct/2010 ID NO-NF[protected] for 9 th dec 2010
Due to some reason a ticket pnr no FIWGVH and king fisher ticket no[protected] cancelled from delhi to Chennai . new pnr issued from Chennai to port blair are GFYAEH and travel on new pnr.
From 25/dec/2010 to till date I call at king fisher and make my trip customer center several time as a pendulum pl give reply urgently.
1-King say I give remark at t.no[protected] refund given by make my trip
2-Make my trip say I want stamped document from king.
3-King say when I provided remark on ticket stamped document not necessary.
At your c/center contact the following person .
Kanderp/Ruchika/Asirbad/A ahuja/Ashok/Jatin/Inderjeet but my problems are as it is
Pl give full detail regarding refund customer what can do (only dial kingfisher to make my trip as a pendulum )

    : I HAD BOOKED TWO ROOMS FOR TWO FAMILIES IN HOTEL AT GOA THROUGH MAKEMY TRIP ON INTERNET AND ON TELEPHONE. THE HOTEL AND FACILITIES SHOWN AT THE TIME OF BOOKING IS AS UNDER: BREAKFAST, ONE AC SUITE, PICK UP AND DROP FROM STATION/AIRPORT, USE OF SWIMMING POOL, TWO HALF DAY SHIGHT SEEING, TEA/COFFEE MAKER IN THE ROOM. I HAVE RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION OF THE SAME ON MAIL ID AND PAYMENT IS DEDUCTED ACCORDINGLY. BUT TO MY SURPRISE WHEN I REACHED HOTEL SUN VILLAGE IN GOA, THE STAFF THERE REFUSED TO PROVIDED US TWO HALF DAY SIGHT SEEING AND TOLD US TO CONTACT TRAVEL AGENT. MY MRS. CHITRA HAS PHONED ON TOLL FREE NUMBER TO MAKE MY TRIP AND THE SAME WAS ANSWERRED BY ONE SHIVANI, AFTER LONG HOLD SHE HAS INFORMED THAT MAKEMY TRIP HAS NEVER INCLUDED TWO HALF DAY SIGHT SEEING. MY WIFE EXPLAINED HER THAT WE GOT THE PRINTED VOUCHER WHICH SHOWS THE SAME. BY AFTER SOME RUDE TALK SHE ASKED FOR SOME TIME AND DISCONNECTED. AFTER SOME TIME WHEN WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY MY WIFE CALLED THEM AND THIS TIME ONE NAMED POONAM ANSWER AND SAME THING HAPPENED AS IN CASE OF SHIVANI. THIS TIME EVEN HOTEL PEOPLE HAS FAXED THEM VOUCHER AND SPEAK TO THEM THAT THE SIGHT SEEING IS INCLUDED, BUT THEY REFUSED.

    I HAVE THEN REGISTRED THE COMPLAINT WITH CORE.NIC.IN AND ONLY RECEIVED MAILS FROM MAKE MY TRIP ASKING ME FOR SOME TIME. BUT AFTER THREE MONTHS I HAVE RECIEVED ANY COMPENSATION OR AFFIRM REPLY FROM THEM.

      Hi Dear Friends,

      I went to Kerala for new year, as I was going to the kerala first time, I was not knowing which is the good hotel and how to book the hotel.
      So I trusted the Make MY trip and booked the hotels in the kovelm in 2 months advance by paying the 30k for 5days .
      While booking I had given Swagata, Sagara and hotel blue sumdra 3 hotel names, make my trip said they will do the booking, after 30 minutes I got call saying all 3 hotel are booked,
      and they suggested the hotel View heights for the same rate and its very good hotel they gave assurance I believed them asked for booking the same hotel.


      I went with my wife and my 2 years son to the Kerala for Enjoying the new year As soon I reached hotel the real experience stared .
      In hotel no one was there to take the language, and the believed make my trip cheated me, the hotel location was worst, there was no power all the mosquito was biting my son, after horrible night, I went to bath there was no water, after completing to the make my trip I did not get good response.
      the hotel was like govt hostel, I paid 3.5k per day for such hotel, I got full upset my son was crying because of the mosquito

      finally I decided to cancel my booking in the hotel then make my trip said they will refund the money, I left the hotel after paying 30k, I got 5k as an refund.

      I went to one person name PRASHANT he came as good and arranged the hotel booking for 4 day with 3k per day the hotel Sagara was awesome with see view .

      later I came to know make my trip have only one or two room quota for every hotel so dear friends
      don't believe make my trip friends . directly contact hotel

      So please don't book through make my trip.

        Hi,
        I really hope some one goes through this whole email and escalate it to the correct authority to take appropriate action. I am a very frustrated and harassed customer of make my trip. I have never seen such a poor and harassing customer service till date. Below is the conversation I had with different people
        Unknown in Make my trip: I called up on the 24th evening to check if everything is fine on the booking and was told that the booking was confirmed for Me, my wife and my 1 month old daughter. This call was made around 8 PM
        Indigo: I called Indigo on 25th about 12 PM to check on the ticket status and was told that the infant was not there and it was booked only for me and my wife. I had to be on hold for 20 mins before I got some one in Indigo.
        Tanya in Make my trip: I called MMT at about 12:30 PM on 25th and informed about the error. She very promptly accepted the error and kept me on hold for 25 mins and got it corrected as well as got the new Indigo ticket sent to me from Indigo Airlines. I checked with her for a compensation and she immediately apologized and said it was a technical error and a compensation for that cannot be made to which I immediately agreed. Before hanging up the phone I asked her to check the spice jet ticket as well and confirm if my daughters name was appearing on that, to which she immediately replied that it is fine on the spice jet ticket, I agreed and disconnected the call.
        Indigo: As promised by Tanya I got the e ticket from Indigo, however it was still incorrect so I had to call up Indigo and this time was on hold for approx 10 mins and had to request them to send me the revised e ticket which they did. So another issue from MMT, they should have got Indigo to send the correct ticket in the first place.
        Spice Jet: As Tanya confirmed without even researching the system I was not very confident about the spice jet ticket and called them up around 1:15 PM on 25th and came to know that the infant is not added on that ticket as well.
        Jagjit in Make my trip: I immediately called up make my trip to get Jagjit on the call. I explained him the situation and asked for a supervisor to which to put me on hold for about 15 mins to come back to me and tell me that he has been trying the spice jet number but it is busy and if I can call up after some time. That is when I really lost it as I asked for a supervisor and he had the audacity to come back and tell me to call back after sometime even after knowing what had happened and how much of a follow up I have been doing just to get the right ticket even after paying for it in full. I insisted on a supervisor who then came on the call after about 25 mins and in between I was continuously told to hang up as the supervisor is busy and could not come on the call
        Ravinder Kumar (Supervisor): Then I got this guy to whom I had to tell the whole story again and he also said that no compensation can be given for the harassment and the follow-ups because of the incorrect information given to me time and again by MMT customer care executives. To which I asked for a manager and was told that he is on a call, when I insisted I was told he is in a meeting, and when I insisted further I got Rizwan on the call after 30 mins, who was confused if he was on a call or a meeting or on lunch.
        Rizwan (Manager): Very promptly without wasting time he convinced me that he was looking at getting me a compensation and very efficiently after so much going on managed to keep me on hold for more than 30 mins after which neither did he send me the new e tickets from spice jet nor could he arrange for a compensation . I even told him Rs. 100 as compensation would be fine, but he seemed to be in a Sunday mood and gave me a no. which is [protected] and told me whoever picks up the phone here will be able to assist me. I really failed to understand what did he do when he put me on hold for more than 30 mins, was he just trying to make sure that I am harassed to the core, not sure if that is the motto of the organization as well because till here that is what it looked as every one was consistent in trying to irritate me (the customer).
        Pallavi (Supervisor to the manager): When I called the number given by Rizwan, I reached pallavi who was again very consistent in the same approach of irritating. When I called her and requested her to call me back I was immediately told that a call back is not possible however if I call the toll free no. and give the extn no. 2444 I would be transferred to her, to which I agreed . However again to add to the frustration when I called MMT ‘s no. I had to be on hold for about 5 mins before I got some one who could not transfer me to the extn given and also could not transfer me to pallavi. So exhausted by now which is about 4:45 pm I called pallavi on the mobile no. knowing that I have already spent a lot on my mobile calling. Pallavi assured that she will get something done and will call me back in half an hour, which she very nicely did. I didn’t understand at this time how could she call me back when in the first place she refused and made me talk to her on the phone knowing I had already spent 5 hours on the phone trying to fix it. Also the compensation that she gave was the most funniest part of the whole episode.
        She said I can get Rs. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY (WOW) off on my next transaction with MMT. By now I was done and didn’t know what to do and in anger we finally agreed that she will return the 250 to my Ccard as compensation. I was dead by now. I will write again to let you know if I receive the amount
        I feel 10 times more frustrated that I was when I first called MMT and would never ever even visit the site in future and would make sure that I let people know about my feelings about MMT whenever we talk about travel or holidays.
        Hope some one (to who the reputation of make my trip matters) reads this and take necessary steps to fix this harassment of customers. I feel like writing a lot more but am completely done complaining.

          had booked my airticket and hotel through make my trip in Dec 08 to Goa alongwith my 12 year old daughter. My trip was planned from 25th Dec to28th Dec 08. The ariticket booking was ok but to my disgust the hotel booking done by makemytrip executive Ms.Jinal was horrible. They charges me bomb 10700 for 3 days stay but the hotel was SO HORRIBLE and unhygienic that we were forced to look up for another hotel. Ms.Jinal was constantly telling me that Goa is full and there is no hotel available to stay but after going there I found that Goa was completely empty with very few tourist around. The localites were complaining and telling us that all the hotels are vacant and there is no crowd in Goa. Why do these people give wrong information to customers? Just to scare them. Moreover on enquiring with the hotel person Mr.Jose he told us that their per day charges were only Rs.2000/- then why was I charged so high? I was in no mood to spoil the holiday mood hence on returning back to Mumabi, I called Ms.Jinal Choksi and informed her about my horrifying experience to which she asked me to send her a mail. After repeated reminders they have just sent me an apology mail which is of no use to me. . I WANT MY MONEY BACK.Make my trip sent me a costomer feeback form which I filled and sent two days back but I know they are not going to pay any attention to this feedback. TO ALL MY FRIENDS - PPPLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLDAYS THROUGH THIS MAKE MY TRIP SERVICE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE GHOSTS WHO LURE YOU TO MAKE THINGS SIMPLE AND EASY PLS DO NOT FALL PREY TO THESE PEOPLE INSTEAD GO AHEAD AND DO DIRECT BOOKINGS.

              I have booked the Air ticket from MakeMyTrip.com using my Credit Card, and then due some data entry problem in name i need to cancel those tickets and again i have booked the ticket with proper name.

              Amount is alreasy been deducted from my credit card for both the Tickets but Cancelled ticked reimbursement is not yet gien. I have booked the ticket in Aug-2008 and till date i haven't received any positive reply, i want total amount reimbursement from company with HUGE penalty, so that they will do this again with any other customer.

              Waiting for positive resolution for my ISSUE.

              Makemytrip.com — Not refund the ticket cancellation amount

              Dear Sir,
              This is lalitmohan, a resident of Noida.I've used the services of makemytrip.com on 29th April-09 for booking the airtickets for my Wife and Kids for the date of 12th May-09.The ticket was from Delhi to Vizag and return.The booking no. is FLT[protected].
              Because of Jetlite carelessness, my wife missed the flight and they wrote on ticket that it is cancelled and Rs.1000 per ticket will be deducted and no deduction for infant ticket.

              But they only refund the half amonut and for the rest of amount i'm following up with them from last two months but they donot care.I have called at makemytrip.com customer care more than 14 time. They told me that the payment has been done from their end but till today I donot get in my account.They gave me the cheque no. 133797 and the reference no. 339465. I checked with my bank, they told me that they didnot get any payment from this cheque or ref. no.

              Now the makemytrip.com said that they have sent the cheque at my residence and some Uday has received the cheque. but my house was locked for last two months and there is NOBODY Uday to whom I know.

              PL. look into the matter as makemytrip.com is not supporting me to refund my amonut.

              Dear sir,
              Please note that I have booked two tickets for travelling from Guwahati to Dibrugarg . The date of journey was 30/09/09 .The PNR -BGAPHS and the ID-FLT[protected]. THE FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED .But I have not recieved the refund amount till today.Kindly take up the matter with concern authority so that I get the full refund which will help us in building the confidence on the makemytrip and encourages to seek more services.

              I had booked this for travel from Kolkata to Guwahati and back. I had cancelled the return journey, by Indigo flight number 6E 208.

              I am yet to get the refund. I have made many attempts to get through on their toll-free numbers, but there is no response.

              Make My Trip — Refund for cancelled Ticket

              I had booked three tickets from
              Hyderabad to Bangalore on the 6th July 2010 Booking ID FLT[protected]
              Bangalore to Camibotor on 8th July 2010 Booking ID - FLT[protected]
              Camibator to Hydrabad on 9 th July 2010. Booking ID - FLT[protected]

              On the 5th I had decided to cancel my trip due to some personal matter.

              On the 5th July 2010 at about 8:30 pm I logged on to the site www.makemytrip.com to cancel my tickets Bangalore to Coimbatore and Coimbatore to Hyderabad, for which I had received the cancellation conformations. The same night I cancelled my Hyderabad to Bangalore ticket at about 12:30am. I received a sms conformation.

              The next i.e. 6th July I received confirmation that my refund is being processed for 2 sectors only. I called make my trip and informed the same and enquired about my Hyd to Bangalore ticket refund and to my surprise I was told that I have never cancelled the ticket and I’m not entitled for any refund.

              I had a very bad experience with these guys.

              If I still don’t get any response I will file my complain with the consumer court.

              Makemytrip.com — Large cancellation amount

              Hi,

              I would like to raise a complaint on makemytrip.com
              Dont ever tickets through them. They charge a large amount for cancellation.
              If you paid 5k for booking a ticket, if you cancel, you are going to loose almost 3 K. Which is very large as you know.
              They charge a huge amunt for nothing....
              WHY?
              Please spread this info to all to avoid getting cheated!

                This has reference to our booking ID IN1305B01130.

                Please be informed that our tour to Uttaranchal was scheduled to start from 2nd July 2013. I wrote an email to you as in the email below on the 20th June expressing my concerns on the Uttaranchal Trip with regards to the severe floods as well as to the climatic conditions prevailing in Uttaranchal and sought your advice ( I believe MMT is an advisor on tours) keeping in mind that the entire country was mourning as well as we could have been prone to epidemic diseases in view of the calamity prevailing there. It was a force majure situation

                I contacted the toll free number from Doha Qatar on 26th June and spoke to one of your Call centre gentlemen seeking information wrt to the conditions prevailing at Uttaranchal and requesting amendments to change the trip to either Punjab, HP or Rajasthan as the atmosphere was not conducive for us to travel with kids. There was no response from you or your offices until the 28th when I landed in India and called you up again seeking your advise on going to Uttaranchal. You apologised for the delay in getting back to us as you were busy attending a condolence in your family. I need to know if you are the only person managing Make My Trip (MMT) and whether in such personal emergencies wasn't there someone from MMT to handle our account????

                I wrote to you by email again on 30th June detailing the climatic conditions prevailing in Uttaranchal and requesting for a change to any other place.

                I was worried with regards to the trip since we were to leave for Delhi on 2nd July morning and on 1st evening at around 5 PM you demanded a Cancellation fee of INR 61, 500/- along with an additional payment of INR 17, 000/- to be made. We made the payment immediately since we did not want to disappoint ourselves on the tour and since because our flights to and from New Delhi Madurai was booked.

                I do not understand what you mean by Cancellation and why did you charge this INR 61, 500-. I demand a refund of this cancellation charges as otherwise I construe that your intention was to force us to travel to Uttaranchal despite the calamity without any human considerations of the epidemic diseases prevailing. This despite the fact that we wrote to you well in advance on 20th June seeking your advice. Your advice in the last minute to pay cancellation charges of INR 61, 500/- is sheer BLACKMAIL of your clients and does not go in good taste of giving your clients a satisfactory tour instead RIP them off of all money possible in the name on cancellation despite the fact that a tragedy was prevailing in Uttaranchal and the whole country was mourning.

                What would you have done if we had booked for Haridwar and Rishikesh during this period? would you still charge us Cancellation fees????

                Provide me with the details of the cancellation charges paid back to the hotels( despite informing you on 20th June ie; 11 days prior to our departure on the trip) as I shall have to legally pursue otherwise to recover our money illegally taken by Make my trip in the name of Cancellation charges.

                Please advise REFUND details to our accounts from which the payment was made under intimation to us.

                  I wanted to book a hotel in Vizag for Dec 25-28 and decided to book through makemytrip.com.
                  They recommended Hotel Sarovar on theie website and the room rent was around 2800 per night. Looking at the rent, I thought it would be a decent star hotel with some minimum standards of ambience. After booking, I found some bad reviews about the hotel on Raahi.com. I immediately called up makemytrip and asked them to change my booking to another hotel. They however said that the hotel is very good and I wouldn't face any inconvenience. I was even ready to forgo one night's rent for cancellation, but they advised me otherwise. When I went to the hotel, I found that it was like a roadside lodge in front of a railway station. No mimimum requirements like pillow covers, hot water etc. The room and toilet was very unhygenic and ambience was poor for the huge rent I was charged. I also found that the same room was available for much less price through direct booking at the hotel, which meant that makemytrip had fleeced me extra money. I spent only one night there and decided to move out. MAkemytrip refused to refund my two nights rent because I had already checked into the hotel. Despite the fact that I myself had offered to cancel a week back by forgoing one night's rent. I have been duped and fleeced by makemytrip and Sarovar Hotel Vizag. I would like to get back my two night's rent for the inconvenience I was put to by the company.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,
                    This is to kindly inform u that in the last 10 days i might have spoken to atleast more than 20 of the people on makemytrip regarding the Rs.500/- mobile cash back offer valid on the domestic flight tickets, for which many of the people from makemytrip side were telling that the offer has been already called off, but some other r telling that the offer still exists, severe of my complaint is that some 7 days ago i had mailed regarding the clarification for the same, for which i have got the reply some 2 days ago which is really very very late from makemytrip side since, 0n December 25, 2008, we had already got one ticket booked with the help of our make my trip mobile application for the sector Bangalore-Mumbai for the date 01/01/09 for Kingfisher Red flight i.e. IT 3106. Here my complaint is that day before yesterday i had received the mail from makemytrip side that yeah the offer is till going on, and its valid for all the airlines and all the sectors, but day before yestreday i had received the mail from makemytrip side i.e. the offer has already been called off on August 26, 2008. This thing has really put us in the trouble, since makemytrip people have played a double game with us by sometimes saying that the offer is still saying, and many a times saying that the offer has been called off. Some 3 days ago, i have received a mail from one of the makemytrip customer care executive known as Shalie Pathania stating that this offer is continuing and valid for all the sectors and all the airlines, Now the thing is that, what i want is as makemytrip people have put me in a confusion, and as the mistake had been done from makemytrip side, so at any cost i want the Rs.500/- credited back to my credit card account, that i used for the booking!!! The major thing is that more than 80% of makemytrip executives r really not knowing about all of the running offers, which is really bad, and this really doesn't happens with any of the company other than make my trip. Really make my trip is troublesome company, in future i will never book any flight using ur company, really and absolutely not!!! Hope i m clear!!!

                    They are expert in doing such mischief. At the time of ticket booking, they make sure that cash is debited from your account in a minute but when it comes to refunding money and admitting to incorrect billing, as is my case, they refuse to take any action.

                      The worst experience for selecting Make My trip!!!

                      Planned to go to Dubai on 17th Dec'08 with my 6-cousins, gave the advance & the passports to the Make My trip Guys 1 Month before the traveling date. But was not able to fly because of mismanagement & ignorance on the part of the counselors & operations team at Make My Trip.

                      Now Just see the Hurdles that were placed before me:

                      1) After 2 days of submitting the Passports I got a call from MMT (Make my trip) that one of the passport was about to expire within 6 Months. The same had to renewed in Tatkal for which I went to the Passport office & got it processed.

                      2) A day later I called MMT guys & told that I have submitted the documents for tatkal renewal.Here come one more head shot from MMT that one more passport is going to expire, please get that renewed also . That was such a careless job of checking the passport validity One by One.

                      3) I was told that i[censored]nable to get the passport renewed by the given dates, we have to bear the cancellation charges


                      4) Now Comes the Biggest One:-- I was able to submit the passports to MMT guys before the date given to me by him. But now after submitting the same I got a call after 2 days (on 13th Dec'08) that we will not be able get your Visa done as your Cousins are born after year :1985 and as per the policy either change your destination OR get the VISA stamped for the parents of three Parents who's children are born after 1985. Please note that the Additional VISA cost means (4500*3 =Rs 13, 500) more than the total package Quotation price given to you earlier. That was not possible as the parents were not having the Passports.

                      Then on 15th Dec'08 I was told by MMT guys that there is one more VISA type ( MARHABA VISA) which we can get with just giving the ITR of the Parents, means saving that 13500 but that VISA will be available after 6 Working Days., which means either ways you will not be able to go on 17 Dec.

                      During all this, it was MMT guys who should have been trying and making this trip go smooth on the contrary I was the one who was regularly following up with them. They were highly irresponsible in not picking calls and not even calling back on seeing the missed calls.


                      I Just want to Know that was Make My Trip planning for Dubai Trip for the first time, or is it that the people who are the face of Make My Trip not worth it.

                      After all this mess I told them if possible send me on the date which was committed to me that is 17th Dec or refund my Money . After spoilling the family trip I got the money back after deducting Rs[protected] * 7) as cancellation Fees .

                      PLEASE TELL ME THAT THE TRIP WAS CANCELED BY "ME" OR BY "MAKE MY TRIP" . INSTEAD OF COMPENSATING ME BECAUSE OF ALL THE MESS CREATED BY THEM, THEY GAVE ME A HIT OF RS 8400/-.

                      So please check & revert back on priority. As I am planning to got to Consumer Court for the same.

                        I have Booked my tickets with Make my trip from Melb to Kula Lumpur on 28 Nov . (The sole reason for buying my tickets from make my trip was cheap fair )Then I did not receive the confirmation email from them confirming my tickets are booked. Eventual after calling them and holing my international call for 1 hour i have been transferred to one customer care operator who suggested me that my tickets are booked and confirmed and I specially asked him about my ticket confirmation as i have to book my further flights. So I carried on Booked other my flights costing 1000USD
                        On 3 Dec early morning at 1 am I receive a call from some one called sameer from make my trip who apologised me for calling me so late and suggested he would call me later during the day
                        On5 dec at 10 PM I receive his call he broke the news that we cannot issue u the tickets to purchase this tickets from airlines they have to use there company credit card and i have to present this at airport. I requested that this is not acceptable as all my tickets are booked and hotel is being reserved.
                        Then Later at mid night Rajni from make my trip called. Apologising that she cannot do nothing about it and all make my trip can do is refund
                        Now the problem here is i cannot get flight on same date and time in reasonable price as of now dif between the next flights is 500USD.
                        So now all I am left with a option is to cancel my holidays and flights and sit in home with a loss of 300USD. The funny part is that if we search the flight even today they are overing the ticket and there will be some one booking the flight soon. So that means they do fraud..

                        I booked a ticket from Bangalore-Mumbai through makemytrip website. Thr PNR no is:JPVSZN
                        The fare paid was 3900 odd. Subsequently the fare has been reduced to 3300 odd rupees. Makemytrip has asked me to contact King Fisher directly.
                        I am unable to reach any kingfisher booking agent.
                        Please refund the excess amount to me at the earliest as it appears that I am loser for booking early(Quite opposed to world wide practice) as in makymytrip's website it is mentioned that they will match any competing price.

                        I just wish i had read all these feed back and stayed away from this website. It's almost same situation and i pretty much know what will be the final result.

                        Booked my tickets to Bangalore from Newark on Oct 16 for $975. Got confirmation mail. As didn't see further communication regarding e-tickets, i called them to hear "Your booing didn't go" after 4 dam days. Absolutely no communication regarding it.

                        After constant struggle and chading, they have blocked ticket for $1500. As its a loss, they are not ready to confirm and issue tickets. I had co-ordinated this travel with my spouse travel while return.

                        Now i am in soup, can't attend brothers marriage and my spouse have to travel aone.

                        Worst part is, i am not aware of any legal action that i can take against these people

                        1. I had booked air tkt for self(S SURESH KUMAR), wife(Bindhu suresh) and daughter(sonali suresh) through makemytrip.com bearing makemytrip booking ID FLT[protected] for travel from SHIMLA to NEW DELHI by KINGFISHER RED DN 4350 through my ICICI credit card bearing nos[protected]. Thus an amnt of Rs 30132 was deducted form my accnt and I have been billed for the same.

                        2. I had subsequently cancelled the subject ticket through INTERNET and I immediately got a message saying that an amnt of Rs 1050 will be deducted from my accnt towards cancellation charges and the rest of the amnt will be credited back to me by 31 Oct 09.

                        3. 02 days later I received an SMS on my mobile [protected] that an amnt of Rs 24207 will be reimbursed to me as refund of subject amnt. I thereafter called up your helpline and registered a complaint. It was assured by your staff that the same is a mistake and will be corrected.

                        4. Upon checking from INTERNET my credit card statement, I have learnt that an amnt of Rs 24207 has only been credited back to me. The reason for the same is not understood and may please clarified to me.

                        5. I had spoken on telephone at number[protected] to Ms ZAREEN at your call centre on 29 Oct 09 and she too assured me that the matter will be immediately looked into.

                        6. It is therefore requested that this matter be accorded TOP PRIORITY and the balance of amount due to me be credited back into my accnt earliest.

                        Hello
                        On the 4th I had also booked a hotel using the same Reference number- FLT[protected] at Delhi for the 13th in name of Mrs KARINA MATIUKIENE but I have not received any hotel booking confirmation.
                        I paid via HDFC net banking and was charged 1773 after 500 Rs discount. My bank transaction ref number[protected] but I have not received any hotel ticket.
                        Please confirm immediately or give me a refund

                          Dear sir /mam,

                          I purchased 2 Air tickets using makemytrip.com on 4th November. I booked 2 tickets from Varanasi to Hyderabad on 15th November 2008. I entered all details like, Amount 15, 100.00, Persons name and address. In the mean time I opened another internet explorer and checked for flight available on 16th November. I didnt find any suitable flight so I continued with 15th Nov Flight. But to my surprise when I booked I got ticket on 16th date which was costs around 23000.00. I called several times to customer but they said they cant help in this regard and I need to cancel my ticket.
                          I lost my money as well as my time i.e. 1 day and extra expenses like hotel and food.

                          How can they release a site with such type of bugs. As per my knowledge they know the problem. If they know the issue why dont they mentioned their site.

                          Is it possible to file a case against MakeMytrip.com.

                            Hi,

                            I booked a air ticket from makemytrip.com which I canceled later. I did not receive any amount from the company for 2 months. When I contacted them they said that the amount is refunded already and to check it with the bank. I checked it with the bank and they assured that no amount is refunded from makemytrip. I again went back to the customer care and they said that they will inquire. They did not come back for a long time and when I contacted them again they asked me to give them my Bank statement of 26 Aug which initially I did not want to provide but I sent it to them afterwards. Again after this these people did not come back for more than 15 days. After contacting again they are now asking to provide the Bank statements from 26 Aug to till date. I do not want to send my so long bank statement to any one.

                            So please help. They are fooling me around for a long time.

                                Last month I had booked one hotel from the site for Rishikesh. Hotel Ganga view was there recommended hotel. They claim that the price offered by them is best and they will return money for one night if you find someone offering less.
                                The hotel was in a very bad condition. The rates there were 1000 Rs per room(maybe 500 Rs extra for extra member, though I am not sure about this). While makemytrip charged 2750 per room (I had booked two rooms).
                                The rooms were so bad that even bathrooms were choked.
                                Immediately after shifting, I called them and they asked me to send a mail after reaching home.
                                I have sent them mail detailing everything. Also, send a correspondence through their site link, but they are not replying itself.

                                  I booked a Igloo nature resort for the dates oct 01, 2008 to oct 03, 2008.

                                  Makemytrip.com sends me a voucher with the booking status "Confirmed". Before 6 days of my journey [ actually today ], I called the Igloo resort people and asked for the status they said the rooms are not available with their own resort and they can arrange for some other resort.

                                  When I call the makemytrip.com they said the hotel room is booked and I don't need to worry on that. But after some time the manager from Igloo Nature resort called me and said there is no room is available on oct 02, so I need to stay in a another hotel.

                                  But still makemytrip.com customer care is telling that my room is booked, if I cancel the room now they will take one night amount for this.

                                  I can give the booking id which i have done with makemytrip.com. My booking ID is HTL160190.

                                    I booked a holiday thru MakeMyTrip.com web site on 14th. for 15th and 16th Aug at Bhimtal. The credit card was debited and i received a confirmation mail to my booking.
                                    I started of at 5 AM to Bhimtal on 15th Aug to Bhimtal. At 12 PM i received a call from MakeMyTrip.com that due to technical error the amount Rs. 9895 has been debited but your booking has not happened. There are no hotels available. I had no option but to return back. We reached back delhi at 8 PM. 15 Hours of drive...

                                    This resulted in agony, mental harrasment and financial loss to me.

                                    I had booked a taxi for 3 days..Rs 9500 to whom i had paid in advance. I lost three precious days of my holidays, which i had planned and hoped to enjoy.

                                    I received a letter from makemytrip.com regretting inconvinience and agony caused to me and my family for the same. I demanded a appropriate compensation but after 5 days i heard nothing back from them. I even wrote to Makemytrip CEO, COO, CTO but nothing concrete happened...Now i can well imagine the state of this company...no surprises in future!

                                    On 26/01/2009 we travelled from blr to sfo.fl no.cx-6711&cx-870..e-ticket number:160-[protected]&810.
                                    During booking we requested for Indian Vegeterian food.But some other food was given which we could not eat.Our repeated request with Air hostess was not cared.With starvation we struggled through the journey.After coming out of the Sfo air port I fainted and got in to lot of problems.At least during return journey give us Indian vegeterian food.
                                    I booked hotel in Matheran called Anand Ritz through makemytrip.com as per their recommendations that it is 3 start resort but horriefied to see the kind of hotel state & services. I feel completely cheated by makemytrip.com & they are duping customers claiming to online travel company.

                                    I wasted calling more than 3 hours to them speaking to various young agents who only probably knows to speak in english but all in vein. Not only I wasted approx Rs. 10000/- but it was of serious mental harrasments & agony myself & my family had to go through the entire 3 days.

                                    The more you talk about hotel its less. It had not had A/c in rooms, which were full of cockroaches, carpenters were repairing the beds, toilet wasn't cleaned to ages, swimming pool was a joke, & yes, all of it was 'SELF SERVICE' because even after calling 5 times to Operators nothing was delivered at your room, not even milk for a kid.

                                    CAN MAKEMYTRIP TAKE THE ONUS OF ALL THIS?
                                    I SUGGEST ALL USERS & READERS TO AVOID BOOKING THROUGH THIS SITE AS THEY ARE CORE CHEATERS & NOTHING ELSE..

                                      ################## NEVER BOOK HOTELS THRU MAKE MY TRIP ########################
                                      I did my Hotel Booking @ Ooty through MakeMyTrip for the 9th Aug 2008 weekend and made the payment through CC. I had received an email and also the customer Rep from MakeMyTrip called up and confirmed that the booking has been done successfully and the same has been confirmed to the Hotel Authorities of Hotel Lake View, OOTY.
                                      My trip turned into a NIGHTMARE when I reached Ooty with my family around 2:00 AM as I was told by the Lake View hotel staff that I do not have any booking in their hotel!!!. Moreover, they didn't have electricity and water since morning (came to know from the hotel staff only). I then tried calling MakeMyTrip to check the status with them but could not get anyone, no one picked up the phone!!!.
                                      I along with my family was in a SHOCKED state as at 2.00 AM I had to look for another hotel to spend the night. I was only able to reach MakeMyTrip customer executive in the morning but I was told that today NO ONE from the hotel Lake View is there to look into the issue and assured that they will call back after sometime BUT no one turned up in regards to the same for next 2 days.
                                      I called them back again after 2 days on 11th Aug and the call was placed on hold for 45 minutes and then it got disconnected on its own. I later tried calling them 4-5 times BUT DID NOT GET ANY RESPONSE as every time they said that there is NO concerned authorities to talk to me. I tried mailing my WORST EVER experience to the feedback email address available (share.[protected]@makemytrip.com) on the MakeMyTrip site but seems like the email sent to the feedback email address goes into the TRASH. I mailed them on the alternate email address and someone from their so called escalation team called up but I did not get any positive response from any of the higher authorities. It's been more than a week as on today (18th Aug 2008) and none of the managers of MakeMyTrip got the time to check into my complaint... So taking that into consideration I don't think we have ANYONE listening to such complaints at MakeMyTrip or to speak to a DISSATISFIED customer like me.
                                      BOOKING THRU MAKEMYTRIP WAS A BIG SUFFERING FOR MY FAMILY AND YOU COULD ALSO FACE THE SAME EXPERIENCE.
                                      SO I SAY A BIG NOOOOOOOOOOOOO TO ANY KIND OF BOOKING THRU MAKE MY TRIP...

                                      I had booked my airticket and hotel through make my trip in Dec 08 to Goa alongwith my 12 year old daughter. My trip was planned from 25th Dec to28th Dec 08. The ariticket booking was ok but to my disgust the hotel booking done by makemytrip executive Ms.Jinal was horrible. They charges me bomb 10700 for 3 days stay but the hotel was SO HORRIBLE and unhygienic that we were forced to look up for another hotel. Ms.Jinal was constantly telling me that Goa is full and there is no hotel available to stay but after going there I found that Goa was completely empty with very few tourist around. The localites were complaining and telling us that all the hotels are vacant and there is no crowd in Goa. Why do these people give wrong information to customers? Just to scare them. Moreover on enquiring with the hotel person Mr.Jose he told us that their per day charges were only Rs.2000/- then why was I charged so high? I was in no mood to spoil the holiday mood hence on returning back to Mumabi, I called Ms.Jinal Choksi and informed her about my horrifying experience to which she asked me to send her a mail. After repeated reminders they have just sent me an apology mail which is of no use to me. . I WANT MY MONEY BACK.Make my trip sent me a costomer feeback form which I filled and sent two days back but I know they are not going to pay any attention to this feedback. TO ALL MY FRIENDS - PPPLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLDAYS THROUGH THIS MAKE MY TRIP SERVICE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE GHOSTS WHO LURE YOU TO MAKE THINGS SIMPLE AND EASY PLS DO NOT FALL PREY TO THESE PEOPLE INSTEAD GO AHEAD AND DO DIRECT BOOKINGS.
                                      The worst ever service by makemytrip.

                                      I was planning to travel from india to US and had 2 connecting flights.

                                      one from hyd - Doha - Washington-Houston. (Opted this dirty travel plan since it was emergency)

                                      There was a change in the timings of first flight from Hyd - Doha thus resulting a no show to the connecting flights.

                                      Asked make my trip team to provide an alternative, they came back saying there is flight after a week and I had to travel to Doha wait for 12 hrs to catch another flight to washington and then wait on for 6 hrs for a connecting flight to houston.

                                      Make my trip team says - they were no responxible for the flight change schedule from hyd -Doha. and suggested an alternative as wait for a week and follow the new schedule.

                                      They are and have eaten lot of money. Guyz, this is a total frustation would want this organization to be banned at any cost.

                                      I hope the consumer court would consider.

                                        This is to inform you that i was wrongly levied a a sum of Rs 3839 for the services i did not avail by my card dated[protected].My Card no [protected] is Silver BOB card in the name of my father "Y M Singh".
                                        HDFC has levied this amount which is the gateway Bank for Make My Trip.I have spoken to Make My Trip customer service regarding this problem.If i could receive any document supporting that the HDFC has not charged me the amount Rs 3839 for this transaction.
                                        Please revert to this mail as soon as possible.I request you to kindly amend this transaction from your end and help me get my amount back.
