False claims, cheating

Last month I had booked one hotel from the site for Rishikesh. Hotel Ganga view was there recommended hotel. They claim that the price offered by them is best and they will return money for one night if you find someone offering less.
The hotel was in a very bad condition. The rates there were 1000 Rs per room(maybe 500 Rs extra for extra member, though I am not sure about this). While makemytrip charged 2750 per room (I had booked...

Hotel not confirm my booking which is done through make my trip

I booked a Igloo nature resort for the dates oct 01, 2008 to oct 03, 2008.

Makemytrip.com sends me a voucher with the booking status "Confirmed". Before 6 days of my journey [ actually today ], I called the Igloo resort people and asked for the status they said the rooms are not available with their own resort and they can arrange for some other resort.

Highly Unreliable & non recommendable Travel house

I booked a holiday thru MakeMyTrip.com web site on 14th. for 15th and 16th Aug at Bhimtal. The credit card was debited and i received a confirmation mail to my booking.
I started of at 5 AM to Bhimtal on 15th Aug to Bhimtal. At 12 PM i received a call from MakeMyTrip.com that due to technical error the amount Rs. 9895 has been debited but your booking has not happened. There are no hotels available. I had no option but to return back....

Refund Frauds

I had booked 2 Goair tickets for Rs. 5090 on makemytrip.com. I had to cancel these tickets 2 days in advance for which the website's terms informed me that they would deduct Rs. 2200 for the transaction. I went ahead with cancellation and after more than 10 days, the refund I receved was Rs. 1890. i.e. Makemytrip deducted Rs. 3200. This is cheating and robbery. No reference of tickets 6 days after debiting money

After innumerable calls to makemytrip customer care (which stands always clogged with traffic), I find the site the last hope for revival of my lost / nearly-lost, money / hope of availing tickets.

5 days back I have booked an airticket (Hyderabad to Kolkatta) from their website, and leave alone the receipt of paper tickets, I am till date eagerly awaiting the receipt of PNR / other confirmation from their end.

undue charges

i tried to book international tickets .the site was not at all informative. i slected no stop and went ahead and did the booking to dfind out later that no stop means it stops at one destination what a misnomer. when i checke the flight number it was not the no stop flight i wanted and i wanted to change the booking but demanded exorbitant price and when i asked to cancel arbitrarily charged 500 for not f doing anything...

I also heard from few of our clients that while booking with MAKE MY TRIP they had similar problems.
However , the only alternative available to us is to go to consumer court and also claim for the torture for following hectic procedures with MAKE MY TRIP for refund of our money.

Last Year, in October,2006, I bought a return ticket from Miami to Mumbai, at $1222. They were paper tickets which were supposed to be sent to my Florida address.
