[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — bad service

this is with regards to my vehical number MH31CR4995 which HAS send at an service station in nagpur called maruti automotive UNDER THE GUIDENSE OF MR KULKARNI who is an incharge of that station.this is the first time i have send my vehical for servicing at that station and from the day i have received my car from servicing my batery is not under operationand after making complaint from atleast 10 times or rather more than that no is taking care of my battery. my car is standing at my residence without the battery for more than an week and i have received any replaceable battery nor an new battery which is under warranty period. as an costomer am felling great hard ship and incovinenece so its an humble request that an proper course of action should be taken against the servise station regarding such an horrible service in respect of my car . am sengind this complaint so that i should be given proper response in regards to my complaint.

please take this matter very seriously

I have purchased a Wagon R duo in 2009 Feb. from SATYAM MOTORS BHOPAL (M.P). My vehicle is not giving satisfactory milage from the date of purchase. I have gone many of the times to service center of Satayam Motors but they are unable to resolve the problem they are not technically good to provide better service.

Maruti Suzuki Estilo VXi — Selling 2nd hand vehicles in the garb of New Vehicles

Dear Sir,

Sub: Complaint regarding fuel efficiency of my new MARUTI ESTILLO.

This has reference to the subject cited above. In this connection, I would like to bring to your kind notice the following for your perusal and further needful action.

1) I purchased a new Maruti Estillo, VX from Jaycee Motors, at Amritsar on 09.09.2009.

2) I was given to understand that the Maruti Estillo is an improved version and has many advanced features and shall give a mileage of 16-18 kmpl under city conditions and 20-22 kmpl under highway conditions.

3) From the very first week, it was observed that the fuel efficiency is far below what was told to us.

4) The car was sent to the showroom, to look into the matter and we were told that they would look into the matter and get it rectified. When the car was delivered back, we were told that the problem has been rectified and the car shall give the desired fuel efficiency.

5) We observed that there was no change in the fuel efficiency, even after the rectification and approached the Workshop once again.

6) A Fuel Efficiency Trial was undertaken and it was observed that during the trial, the test driver would shift the gears to neutral and run the vehicle at intervals. Further, at one time, he stopped the car and opened the fuel tank cover on the pretext that there was gas build up in the petrol tank.

7) The Workshop Manager Mr. Gurinder Singh, personally took a Fuel Efficiency Test and the reading that was achieved was as low as 10.4 kmpl.

8) Since, the problem could not be rectified; they requisitioned their Senior Engineer to be deputed from Chandigarh. Mr. Mitter Sharma who we understand is the Senior Field Engineer, came to check the problem, but it seems that no checking was done and he claimed that the vehicle was checked and shall perform satisfactorily. There was absolutely no improvement in the fuel efficiency of the car. It is a clear cut way of defrauding and bluffing the Customers and not acceptable from a company of Maruti Suzuki stature.

9) Till date, we have observed that the Fuel Efficiency has not improved and when we approach the Service Station, we are being told that there is no problem with the car and there is something wrong with the driving.

In this connection, I would like to inform you that the car’s performance is far below the rated performance parameters. We would also like to inform you that we are open to the car being tested by an independent agency to assess the fuel efficiency.

It would be pertinent to mention that the Temporary Registration Slip (Copy enclosed for your ready reference) issued by Jaycee Motors also seems to be tampered with. We fail to understand that when the car was purchased on 09.09.2010, how the temporary registration slip could show the date of 27.04.2009. Further, the Serial Number of the Temporary Registration Slip has been tampered and the number has been changed from 00076 to 00279. We feel that the car was used /sold by the dealer and subsequently sold to us. When we enquired about the dates, we were told by Mr. Rishab Agarwal of Jaycee Motors that there could be some minor mistake and we will not have any problems. We would like you to investigate the matter and take up with Maruti Suzuki Limited.

We hope that you shall look into the matter at the earliest and save us from the harassment, increased costs and sufferings. Till date, we have made innumerable trips to the showroom but to no avail.

Notwithstanding what is stated above, we would request you to replace the car, pay compensation for all the damages and save us from this predicament.

yesterday dt:22.6.2010 i have given my car for servicing the car no as follows , MH01-4278AH Silver clr waganour , for checking & servicing the car the main problem is average & pick coz i am getting 7.5 average , yesterday they have not returned the car due to uncompleted service , today when they send the car on 2.30 pm i was utter shocked to see that the car is not cleaned & when i opened the bonnet the wire is in unwrap & the top of the filter is broken condition & when I tried to talk with Manger in fort point branch Mr. Santhosh sir said there manager is very busy , & this was not a first time i am facing this problem this is second time , sir we are paying for the services after paying also the work is not getting complted...

Maruti Suzuki — Non repair of vehicle in 26 days

I purchased SWIFT Lxi on 15/10/2009 from VAU Automobiles. On 31st May 2010 I was returning from my home sheohar, the power steering of my car became hard. I took the vehicle to the showroom of Vaus. My job card no. is JC10008349. I was in the workshop on entire day of 31/05/2010 two mehanics checked the vehicle for whole day and they told me that senior mechanic will see it tomorrow and probably the steering is to be replaced. on 01/06/2010 when i called Shri N N Singh (work manager), he advised that they are not able to get the defect. All of sudden today i.e.2/6/2010 when i made a call to the show room they told me that your car had met with an accident. When i went there i found the right fender of my car has got scratch mark and when i pointed it out to Shri N N Singh(Works Manager), he ill behaved with me and told me "do whatever you like i will not consider a single paisa, you will have to pay for it and it cost Rs. 50,000/ do whatever you like go wherever you want". These words offended me a lot . Then i contacted to Shri Ajai Jha (Area Sales Manager), he assured to help me out. They advised me that my car will be repaired under insurance cover. I agreed for that.

Even then till today my car has not been repaired and as per their version the parts which have been indented from Gurgaon has not reached to them. I am unable to understand by which mode the parts has been dispatched that takes such a long time to reach patna from gurgaon despite both the heads are connected via air, rail as well as road transport. My car is lying at the show room for more than 22 days and i am suffering mental harrassment due to that. Time and again i have to hire a taxi for my use. I am losing my patience.

At the time of purchase i believed in your brand and one of the reasons of selecting Maruti is easy after service. I still believe in your brand but the behave and quality of the service your customers are getting at Vau's is definitely affecting your business. With a lot of pain i am compelled to say that i repent the day i purchased a car of maruti. Had i known the level of service , i must not opted for it. Please look in to the matter and arrange for early delivery of my vehicle.
My vehicle bearing registration no. BR01AR6857 is under warranty also. Please help me out.

Maruti Suzuki — Non delivery of Vehicle as per terms of booking

We had booked Maruti Ritz Lxi from Auto Hitech Kolkata on 19th April 2010 with a promise of delivery by 16th May 2010. However till date the delivery has not been made. Further they have agreed to provide for Loyalty bonus and Exchange Bonus amounting to Rs. 15,000/- and fixed the exchange price of my old car for Rs. 90,000/-. The same is mentioned in their Order Booking form.
But now they are refusing to provide us the benefit of Rs. 15000/- as promised by them and also they are revaluing my old car to Rs. 80,000/-. Thus they are charging me additionally for Rs. 25,000/- over and above their committed charges with no fault of mine.
It is clear that they are luring consumers with attractive offers and taking advances and once the consumer is hooked, they refuse to entertain the offers at the time of actual delivery thereby coaxing the consumer to pay more.

I puchased a car Maruti Ritz DL6CH6135 from FAirdeal Cars(P) Ltd from Delhi in Jan 2010 and from that date I facing problem every day.And I have complaint several times to them but no positive result and problem of Blasting and car stop functioning any time and could not be started until mechanic is called.Due to Blasting Once the air Filter was damaged and replaced but again it happened and complaint has been booked but no reply form the other side.This the poor service from maruti

Dear Sir, I had purchased the above mentioned car on the said date which is just before few months. As there was noise in the said vehicle after crossing the speed of 80 kmph and for the same we had shown the car at Kataria on dated[protected] and after verifying the same they had stated that now it is repaired. As normally in Ahmedabad city it is very rare to cross the speed of 80kmph but once I was going from highway and as I cross the speed of 80kmph the same sound was coming, therefore in the second service once again I had informed the Kataria motors about the same problem on dated 6/6/2010 and they had return the car on dated 7/6/2010 with the statement that now it is repaired. And on very next day when I had check the car, there was noise coming at the speed after 80 kmph. Once again I went to Kataria on dated 9/6/2010, they had kept the car under their observation and return it back on 10/6/2010 and said that it is repaired but said problem was still there. On dated 13/6/2010 we once again went to Kataria and met Mr. Chetan and discuss about the noise problem after discussion he kept the car in the Kataria for two days and return it back by their technician at my place but when I checked the car in front of the technician, the noise was coming therefore we had informed Mr. Shailesh regarding the same, he told me to bring the a car at Kataria for further inspection on dated 17/6/2010. On dated 17/6/2010 I went to Kataria as per their instruction and they had kept the said car for the further inspection and when I called him on dated 19/6/2010they told me that they are not able to resolve the problem, so they will inform the company on Monday and when the concerned engineer comes from the company at his convenience then he will check the care and thereafter they will inform me about the further course of action. I am very mush surprised that when one customer facing the above mentioned problem in a new car and your persons are not able to repair the noise problem and on the contrary they always return the car with the statement that your car is repaired wherever it was never repaired and it is in the same condition. First thing is that why they are lying to me when they return the car and secondly why your dealer or the company is not worried about the customer who had purchased the car just before the few months back and thirdly who will compensate the time which is literally wasted due to your unprofessional approach to the customer and at last i was never expect the such a approach from Marauti For this time waiting for earliest reply and quick action in the said matter. Maruti Suzuki — Poor quality of tyres

I am Thangadurai, from Chennai. I bought an SX4 ZXI model on 29th May
2007, (registered as TN22 AV 9449) as one of the first set of this kind
car buyer. I was impressed by the height of the wheels and some
features which others did not have. Some small problems I noted had not
been solved as the turn signal shift not coming back to normal after
turns( may not be nearly 90*).The other problem with wheel balancing.
When I run the car on or over 120km speed, I felt vobling or vibrations
which I felt bad in driving at highway. When I made a complaint, the
Maruthi dealer could not attend to it for the reasons known to none.

The major problem I faced with the tyre. With in a run of 3000 km, one
of my tyre got puncture on a regular smooth road. The tyre gave up a
small hole, as no trace of nail or external damage found. The tyre
could not be repaired because of its big hole. I did run the car after
the puncture just to take my vehicle to the side of the road for
parking, that is all. I am not satisfied with Maruthi people could not
make anything except directing me to buy a new tyre with the JK tyre
distributor at a 25% discount only. Now after a run of 21000 km another
tyre got burst during running.

Very recently, I took the vehicle for wheel balancing at Lal brothers
one of the good wheel balancing centres in the city, the technician
asked me to change all the JK tyres to some other, because of the poor
quality which is common with the JK tyres coming with new Maruti SX4. I
am worried of the tyre with the premium vehicle by the NO.1 car company
in India. I like the car over all, but when think about its tyres, I am
completely dissatisfied about not only the quality of the tyre, but the
reaction shown by the dealer and the tyre company. The tyre company completely rejected my request.

I buy swift from stan wheels pakhowal road, ludhiana, i just drive only 7000 km.
sir i had toyota inova which near about 50000km, i had hundai accent crdi it runs 2, 40000 km and maruti alto 75000 km. I hear very much about this vehicle so that we think to buy one swift to my office use only i book one for me after few days of the booking i got one call from the stan wheels that one swift is bookied from some one else but now he is not able to take it if you dnt mind pls visit our show room.than I visit the show room with my family at noon time but when we reach there no one one attend us nicly nothing they asked to us.we wait there for 3 hours then they attend us.after they told me that the customer whom book this swift is order some asser.that i have to pay ok no problem.after one month i was driving swift speedo metre stop working then its shows some indications like stairing, engine and one more thing at that time i call to driver he calls to aggency they said no pbm you can drive.than at next morning driver took swift to the aggency they told that the speedo metres software is not working and they said that the sofware will come from the company after that we can do some thing till you can drive it no problem about it. after few days of that all i was comimg back from phagwara at that time car took a huge stokre. when we go to service it aggency saying that the gear box oil seal is leaked its an minor peoblem than the machanic open the gear box and told that gear set damaged from inside so that the speedo metre stop working and all these things happens, but my driver is saying that he seeing that one strip brken inside the gear box when they inspection the software first he said that on[protected] friday you can pick vehcle, than they said on monday[protected] but still now i dnt got any type of solution from this aggency.my driver will call them and ask but they just saying another when he cals them i dndnt know when i will get it back.i m just requesting you that please replace this swift to me because i am not trusting this aggency that will do correct thing so please do a neccery help to me.
swift is better in driving and smooth in handling but this aggency break our trust on maruti.

i had bought a maruti swift months back. and it was in excellent condition. last month i had a light accident and the bottom of the car hit on a stone.i took the vechile to the popular service centre on 13th july 2010. they told they have to change the parts and it had to come from gujarat. and the car will be delieverd as soon as possible. but unfortunately i did not get the car till now. each day when i call they say the parts are not here yet and they will deliver it next day.and now it is almost a month with out the car. and now i regret abt buying the car from popular services and such a bad a customer service from maruti.

I would like to bring to your kind attention about the callousness of the Maruti Suzuki and the people involved like dealers and their staff. Till now, I thought you are the best in customer care services and value your present and future customers. I think this has to be evaluated and need to be changed.
I booked the car (SWIFT VXI) in the month of May at Bimal showroom, Whitefield Bangalore and was told that I would receive my car very soon. I planned to gift this car to my wife on her birthday. Do you know was one of the best moments of my life and it was shattered by your dealer and your company. I did inform the company staff about the requirement of vehicle well in advance to this memorable day. But your people so callous and never understood the meaning of love, affection and importance of gifting on the memorable days and I was left with punctured dreams. I had to congratulate you people for destroying our beautiful days. When I was approached them they told there is no vehicle and it will come after some days may be 10 to 15 days. That also not sure...
What is the importance of gifting when it was not available on that memorable day? I had to return with depression.
My wife’s birthday day went without the car gift and after few days again I checked and still there was no sign of car coming. As there was no car either in the showroom or on the way, I made a request to dealer that my previous swift VXI booking to be changed to Dzire LXI. This time I thought I can gift this car to my wife on our wedding anniversary. Dealer told that he will change and on priority he would get the car within that month i.e. during the month of July and he will not disappoint me this time.
I am extremely sorry to say that that my second best memorable day also collapsed by the help of maruti and your staff. Till now i.e. after 3 months also dealer is not sure where is the car either in the factory or on the road or in the air or somewhere.
I don’t know we are in which century. My grandpa used to tell that during the decades of 1940 and 1950 they used to book a scooter and wait for months and then grand scooter will make its appearance.
I am very much disheartened to write you guys that why you don’t want to change the scenario in India even after 70 years.
Worst is your poorly informed dealers, staff and your entire system. Whenever I make a call, your staff will tell that he is not aware or don’t know anything about this delivery. Is it so secret that nobody should know whereabouts of cars or dispatching details?
I sincerely request you to change your attitude and be sensitive towards prospective customers. Otherwise they will never look back at you in future.
Why can’t you be clear-cut in your despatch details? Why you want to keep that so illusive. Be frank that when exactly I would get the car. I don’t like beating around the bush attitude people. Make centralised system and delivery should be very clear to every customer like tracking the couriers in blue dart service. You can give the unique ID number so that customer only can check status of his delivery.
As me or my dealer staff or dealer themselves are not aware of my car status, I feel it is of no use to continue to wait for your car and sacrificing and wasting our good days.
I want to gift this car now to my daughter on her birthday but I am sure you are going to spoil this day as well and break our family. I would be grateful if you return my booking money so that I can buy some other car to gift her and enjoy our better days.

From the starting I faced Engine loading problem with sound (chee chee... ) when car running.I complained KTL service centre many times upto my second service was over but they not able to solved my problem.Sir I am working in German collabration Bangalore based Nagel company they are manufacturing Honing, Crank/ Cam lapping, deep stress relief and deep drilling machines.We have already supplied 15 machines for your KB Engine project..So I discussed this problem with your technical persons, then he suggested that your car hand brake not released completely..After second service this problem is solved.
After second service sound problem was observed on front left hand side at the time of speed breaker / gudha pass.After several services / complained this problem was not solved and due KTL careless attitude crack was observed where shocker mounted ( in month of April 2010 ).I gave the car in KTL work shop for this problem (in month April 2010 ) and KTL done the following work ( I paid Rs.8000.00 for following work ) --
1. Removed the complete Engine and placed new shocker mounting arrangement.
2. Placed new strips ( chimta ) on both left and right of front side.
3. After repairing placed Engine and completed the work.
After done above work following problemes were obseved--
1. Front left hand side sound problem is still observed ( not solved )
2. Less a/c cooling was observed.
3. Sound was observed in a/c blower.
4. Tight movement was observed during sterring movement.
5. Front side both tyres were cracked (My car run only 27000 km till now )
So please help me and do needful action to solve my problem.Sir I am very gratful to you for this.KTL service centre not able to solve my problem
