[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — bad service

this is with regards to my vehical number MH31CR4995 which HAS send at an service station in nagpur called maruti automotive UNDER THE GUIDENSE OF MR KULKARNI who is an incharge of that station.this is the first time i have send my vehical for servicing at that station and from the day i have received my car from servicing my batery is not under operationand after making complaint from atleast 10 times or rather more than that no is taking care of my battery. my car is standing at my residence without the battery for more than an week and i have received any replaceable battery nor an new battery which is under warranty period. as an costomer am felling great hard ship and incovinenece so its an humble request that an proper course of action should be taken against the servise station regarding such an horrible service in respect of my car . am sengind this complaint so that i should be given proper response in regards to my complaint.

please take this matter very seriously

I purchased Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi BS IV on this August.
After running a couple of hundered kilo meteres, I get to hear some long screeching noise in the engine when the A/c is switched off and on when running.

When leaving my car for 1st Service with Indus Motors, chennai. I was informed that the A/c compressor is gone and had to be replaced. They informed me to leave the car for a couple of days with them for them to get the compressor delivered from Maruti.

As, I need to take my car for everyday work I informed them to give me a call once they get the compressor from Maruti to be replaced. They quite accepted it and they promised me to give me a call once they receive the compressor from you. And after that, I recieved a call for the survey on service. I informed them, that my compressor is yet to be replaced and once I get it replaced i would give you the feedback survey. So the lady said, I would check with the dealer and have them give you a call.

Now, Its been close to two months now, I never received a call from Indus Motor regarding the compressor replacement also, I tried reaching them a couple of times in b/w and their standard answer is it is yet to come from Maruti.

Also, last week when I was travelling from Chennai to Tuticorin in the night in my car around 3.00Am my car started screeching heavily with the A/C. I couldn't turn off the A/c as it was heavily rainging and had to bear this Awful noise along with some screeching belt noises from the Engine.

So, I called up the Maruti Anytime Anywhere their response is to call an other no. and to set up an appointment on road on the way to get this fixed up. I said, Am in my family way and Am travelling on an highway and can't stop anywhere to get this fixed up and I have informed them to have it escalated to Indus Motor, so that they may give me a call once I reach back Chennai to get it straightened up. But he said, he can’t do that and if I need help I can fix an appointment on road else you need to contact your dealer.

I am quite surprised on how you guys still able to make up in the market with such a bad customer satisfaction response rate. Now I really regret on buying a car from Maruti that too a brand new car.
I should have taken a second hand car from some other brand, which may be smoother and gives no awful noise like my New Alto.

Kindly let me know, whether this can be fixed by Maruti ??

Hi..I'm not from Maruti, just a regular to this forum I just wanted to share the piece of information. The dealer is suggesting the LXI version because that variant is available. Please do no change your mind, tell him why should you choose a lower model. Ask him to refund the money if he can't provide VXI. You stick to your virtue since you are the buyer. He can't see what he feels like. If the dealers still doesn't compromise, approach Maruti regional office there and let them know about this dealer or try another dealer...

I have given my vehicle Zen Estilo having registration No. MP 07 CA 2738 on[protected] to M/S Madhusudan Motors Agra for servicing and minor denting painting. I have submitted claim for minor denting painting and replacement of broken back light of same side of dents, but till today Bajaj Allianz General insurance company Limited has not passed/cleared the claim and vehicle is lying ideal at the Madhudan Motors Agra. Today afternoon I have asked to Madhusudan Motors Agra to do denting/painting and replace the back light and I will pay for the same. This type of acts of Bajaj Allianz General insurance company Limited is affect the proud of Maruti udyog Company who is giving 100 % satisfaction of his costumer.

popular wheelers(india) pvt. ltd. — maruti 800 damaged

i have given my car service at popular wheelars(india) pvt. ltd. my car no. is gj 18 ab 1640. but the service provider has completely damaged my car by a accident. my name is kisan kumar from isanpur(ahmdebad).
I own a Maruthi 800.I said just for checking the brake do you charge so much ?. The reply was very crude and humiliating by saying that testing of brake means not by just looking through eyes, but involves checking through gadgets. I replied that you need not mention about how you check it, but tell me why do you charge so much and I am not interested.
My appeal to Maruthi is that please have the feed back made available to customers easily. Do we have a forum within Maruthi Authorised service centres, where I can take up these kind of silly but highly irritating issues.
I agree I am also victim. Stan Autos did`t caring about customers. Maruti Udyog have to concentrate on Stan Autos, Ludhiana Issues.

Maruti Suzuki — Deal Or is demanding extra RS 25000

I have booked Maruti swift vdi on 9 september 2010 through kataria automobile ltd i have subimitted all required papers{i.e purchase order from canteen} to executive Rakesh Rana who is working with Kataria automobile ltd he told that we will get the reciept and wating list number for the same but he didnt gave the reciept next day rather the saying that he will provide it tomarrow day after tomarrow and so on after a month when I told Mr Rakesh Rana very strictly he gave me the reciept dated 5 october 2010 when I told him that I have booked my vechicle on 9 september 2010 then why are u giving me reciept dated 5 october 2010 he told that if I wan reciept for 9 september 2010 I have to pay Rs 25000 extra I felt a terriable sence of insignificant on the account i feel cheated very badly by kataria automobile ltd and wan some strict action to be taken aganist them can u plz help me in this case.

Maruti Suzuki — misuse of car from the service station and delay in delivery

yesterday i had complaint to you about my alto car which had gone to swani motors workshop on 3rd oct for change of fender and denting painting. i was promised of delivry on the 6th. after calling them up everyday i reveived my car today around 3.30pm. the car was dirty from inside as well outside. the petrol tank which was almost full had come down to half. do you think the petrol consumtion can be that much from our home in bhai randir singh nagar to their workshop whichh is about10kms? i am apalled to know that an authorised dealer is doing so. i shall never get my work down from any maruti authorised dealer in future.

Maruti Suzuki — Didn't Provide Accessories

I am Resident of chandigarh and i bought a Maruti car(A-Star) from Autopace Pvt(Maruti's Dealer in chandigarh) a month back.
Before buying the dealers promised me to provide extra accessories and discount from other dealers in tricity. I bought a car on 12 august and till today i didn't get the accessories from them , whatever they gave is of poor quality . The mats & Steering cover are of poor quality & if you wna buy it from local market you can easily buy in 50 - 100 rs. Even they harassed me by saying -" SIR jee 4 lakh ki car le skte ho 400 ki accessories nhi lgva sakte kya?". My Question is that Is this a way to talk with customers? Before buying these dealers offered you so much things but after that they don't even bothered. If they can't provide the accessories then why they promised it to customers.
I and family have vowed never to buy Maruti in life time. My children are young, , they too hate Maruti. I owe 2 Maruti Wagon R and 1 Maruti 800. I sold off Maruti 800, replaced with I-10, Wagon R will replace with I20 and last Wagon R with Figo.

The Territory service manager keeps on protecting their dealer Amar Cars who do not know how to repair car and the Chairman also keeps silent about it.

Maruti Suzuki — payment paid but car not received till date

i have booked swift dzire vxi (white colour) on 10 may 2010 from competent automobile co. ltd. with booking amount of Rs 5000 they said after 3-4 week you will get the car after 1 week i changed it to swift dzire vdi then said me 3-4 week again i have paid amount of Rs 25000 more to them & also applied to hdfc bank for auto loan my loan was granted & hdfc paid directly to cometent but competent first said me i have not recevied cheque of loan amount then complainted to hdfc bank after hdfc bank give detial of payment i passed it competent automobile then they said they have recevied my payment so total till date they are holding Rs 6,00,000 my side but my car is not delevired till date o.e 18/10/2010 trill is almost 5 month from booking date

I have purchased the new Eeco on 09/10/2010 . during the delivery I found the dent on the bonnet but the sales representative Victor assured that he will fix the dent during the first service .. But on 19th of October after 10 days of delivery we took for our first service.. but the same guy assured me that he will fix it.. but it 2 days passed, still our Eeco van is in service station and they had not fixed the problem and we tired to call them asking what's happening .. but their response was not the same at the time of delivery .. and we made 4 -5 calls to the customer care and still they have not giving a proper response..

I am unhappy and not satisfied about the service in Pratham Motors, Queen's Road ..

Please i ask the concerned authority to review this case and help us not to happen in future.

Maruti Suzuki — Maruti Alto LXI poor body

I have purchased a Maruti Alto Lxi car from DD motor Okhla Delhi in 24-June 2010.
After some I noticed that roof of my Alto is very poor, when I clean the roof with cloth it goes down.
2. On second gear driving doesn't work properly....

I have complaint many times to DD motor but no action has been taken as yet even they are saying that this manufacturing fault from company......

Please let me know that what should be done...

i purchased Wagnaor LXI on 25.07.2010 from Avadh Moters private limited Lucknow.First Service was done at one up motors lucknow. While first i spoken that there is problem of gear and clutch but they told this is your driving problem . Maruti Suzuki India Ltd — Horrible service from their service station

I had given my Esteem car for repairs after meeting woth an accident.
After 75 days I was called and handed over a bill for rs.109000/- for repairs.
I paid the amount and took delivery of the vehicle.


To my horror i found that there were a lot of problems which were present in the car.When i pointed it the service centre I was told not to worry and come back next week with any other problem that i may discover during the week.

In good faith I took the car and came back after a week.

Howevr the dealer failed to do the repairs.

The worst part was that even after writing to the MD of Maruti suzuki, they didnot even care to respond to my complaint.

I am shocked and have written off Maruti from my list of future cars.
