I ANKIT SINGLA ,purchased a MICROMAX Q3 mobile on 15/10/2009 from ‘Sehgal commun. LADWA,Distt. Kurukshetra’ having IMEI No. [protected] .849953. It stasted giving problem after 1 month of purchasing( Hang problem),
I hv get it checked in KURUKSHETRA –CUTOMER CARE CENTRE many times. They hv replaced the MOTHER BOARD which chages the IMEI no. to “[protected] . [protected]” but the problem is as it is.They hv kept my mobile for more then 20 days ,which force me to buy the new mobile & still after that the problem is not solved.I study in Murthal,Sonepat & forced to visit in KURUKSHETRA –CUTOMER CARE CENTRE many times.
to replace my mobile as soon as possible

I had purchased a mobile phone Micro max set np.MC 21 on 05/08/2010 and on very next day I felt that its battery heated up immensely. The matter was brought in to knowledge of shopkeeper but he reffered to service centre.The set could not be repaired at service centre and was sent to delhi by the service centre .I got my mobile back after one month.The problem still remained the same.Who shall take responsibility if battery blasts .Kindly convey this message to the chairmain/MD of Micro Max Company at the earliest.

    I have purchased Micromax mobile X-260 model 5 months back.
    But just after few days of purchase, I feel there were some problems in using this mobile. At last, I got it checked at your authorized service station at Shivranjani char rasta. They have checked and asked me that there is a problem in battery. He also advised me to get its replaced, since the mobile is in warranty period. I gave him battery for replacement. He told me that it takes at least 10 to 12 days to get replacement.

    Now, I regret to inform you that today even after more than one month has been passed and number of follow ups made by me (personally as well as phone inquiry); the replacement of battery is not received. I have also talked to Mr. Mukesh at your customer care office at Delhi. He also confirm that they will replace the battery within 7 days. But I feel sorry fto state that till writint his compalint, I have neither received replacement or response from your end.

    I request you to look into this matter and arrange to send my new battery urgently.

    If I will not receive replacement within 5 days, I have no way but to complaint in Consumer Redresal Forum.

    I am Omprakash Sanodiya. I am purchasing a Q7 model in 21-07-10 which M_IMEI [protected] S_IMEI [protected] & bettery no:- S/N:XDB[protected] and its model no. TYM760. Its battery backup is very poor. This is discharge in 24 hr. in standby mode. so plz solve the problem as soon as.

            Me and my other 2 friends taken a mobile handsets of Micromax and within 2 months of working out of 3 handsets 2 got problem in hardware, due to low quality of hardware. When we visited to Micromax service center, it was totally unorganized and no one was there to handle the customer. It was a setup of a local mobile repairing shop. Near about 10 to 12 customers visited their customer care center and almost every one got wague answers and were dissatisfied. This is the product quality and support we expect from Indian companies. How we can be faithful and loyal to promote our Indian products. When they are cheating every customer.

            We are very disappointed to see the after sale service. a person who were handling the customer support was very rude and aggressive. I told him I don't want to keep my handset with you if possible please attend my query immediately, he refused. When i told him to provide money for repair, he immediately agree and said wait for 10 minutes. These are the fraud practices are playing on the Micromax customer support center in Janakpuri A3/93. Otherwise you have to wait at least for one month to get the job done in warranty period.
            Micromax GC360 is waste phone I was purchase phone on 20th Nov 2010 and its have error in charing after 2days and till time is not slove. I am not satisfy with phone as well as micromax company. Showing error each time bed contact of charger.

              Dear pehredar
              I have purchased one mobile phone of Micromax-Q3 and|( also recommended my so many friends to purchase Q3 ) from Anand Mobile Shop ,Ravibhawan at Raipur on dated 15/12/2009 under 1 year warranty. Now only after using 2 month it's Headphone as well as Charger both are not working and when i approached to the shop they checked and said Headphone as well as charger both are faulty then I told them to kindly provide me any other headphone by which i can avail I/C and O/G facility but no headphone is working in this Micromax phone so that I do not have any other option to take only headphone provided by Micromax .Then shopkeeper told me to come with copy of the bill for replacement of Headphone then i submitted the copy of bill and returned but after approaching 50 times they have not provided me Headphone and always saying "Q3 ka HEADPHONE ABHI AAYA NAHI HAI",.

              Is it justified? why they are not providing me the HEADPHONE if HEADPHONE is not available in the company is it my fault?.so kindly look this matter immediatly .
              . II request to pehredar to solve my complaint .Otherwise I will go to consumer Forum.

                Dear Sir,

                20 days back I purchased Micromax x250 mobile, It is not working properly,

                day one onwards I am facing the problems, i am trying to connect FM radio: continuous disturbance sound,

                trying to open Video files : Very slow motion, No sound,

                trying to talk friends ...they are saying very poor quality of voice, some times even they are not able to listen , In this phone there is no adjustment,

                Connecting to Head phones...Continuous disturbance of sound, no clear voice...

                If i goto the dealer, they will say , I need to goto service centre with that phone, If I goto service centre they will say it will take some time time to diagnose,

                If anybody helps, to resolve these issues, Would be appriciated,

                  i purchased the micromax q5. i was listening to some songs for about an hours time. when i took the headset out of it, the profile did not change back from headset to general. i tried to restart it and took out the battery, removed the memory card and also changed the sim slot from 1 to 2. didnt work. i am going to go to the store to get it replaced. if they done replace it, i would contact legal departments for this as this is not at all acceptable. i have bought the phone just 3 days ago !!! please revert back to me if any answers

                  as i am using this phone since one month and i want to tell you that Q5 is one of best phone at very low cost and they are saying about profile problem its solution is very simple
                  SWITCH OFF THE PHONE FOR SOME MINUTES,
                  RESTART THE PHONE,
                  CONNECT HEADSET AGAIN,
                  GO TO SETTING OPEN USER PROFILE,
                  THEN PLUG OUT THE HEAD PHONE AND IF IT WRITES "EAR PHONE PLUGGED OUT" UR SET IS READY TO USE THIS PROBLEM IS TOO COMMON IN NOKIA N95

                  I faced teh same problem and i have this solution.

                  Once your cell is in headset mode, insert the head phone and REMOVE it with bit force. So that, your mobile sends a message "Earphone plugged out".

                  If you are able to achive this, your mobile is back to normal .
                  Guys, .I've same problem .I'm unable to change m user profile headset to normal, , ..Plz help me 2 sort out it, , .I'm in trouble yaar, , ...
                  even i have the same problem and none of the above mentioned methods worked :(

                  If we are talking on sim 1 and at that time anyone call me on sim 2 or vice versa then that shows not reachable is it problam in my setting or this facility is not available in this phone.

                  You are right, I'm facing the same trouble.
                  Those who r giving solutions to this problem are the fools. It's a very common mechanical fault, as per as the service center says, of this handset. almost 63% of Q5 handsets are in service center for this one problem. there is no permanent solution until the headphone jack is replaced. But, unfortunately, this headphone jack is not made by Micromax but by Yamaha. So, still the company has no solution for the customers. I am having the same trouble with my hand set and I have been informed by the Local Service Center of Micromax about the aforesaid information. GOD HELP US, OR THERE WILL BE NO SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM.

                  Hey same problem with my phone too...unable to change the profile from headset to any other. Tried all the options above, but doesn't seem to work. Embarrising to always use the headset even at home. The phone is also bit slow. Yes agree it is value for money...but again with these problems you wonder if it is really worth it. I hope when I walk into the showroom, I will find a fix and walk back smiling...hope for long :)

                  I have buy a q5 dt 03/04/2010 bill no 5607, but this earphone not working I request so many time to shopkeeper for the same, but the shopkeeper deny to change the earphone I visit so many service center as a Narela, Rohini, Begampur, Kirtinagar, but no one change the earphone.

                  i buy a micromax Q5 IMEI 91004005285539153320391 BILL NO 2554 on the date of 3/4/10 from mahendra trading co raj mahel road mehasana gujarat after 2 month i hve a problem wth my track ball its dnt work properly i went shop they send me to the local service center of micromax i went there and deposit my mobile over there on the date of 14/6/10 that time they said that i get my cell phone within 10 to 15 days but till now i didnot get my cell.if i didnt get my cell phone i will take micromax company to the consumer court so plz tke some action imediatly about this metter

                  I bought Q5 month ago and observed same problem o[censored]ser profile.Believe it or not everytime I made calls i had to use headsets.
                  The problem lies with headset jack.When you unplug the headset check if "headset plugged out" message pops on your screen, if not, the headset profile remains unchanged.
                  If this doesn't help use Nokia headset and plug in and plug it out.This will surely help.

                  Otherwise Q5 is best buy..

                  Guys...Headset Profile is common problem in Q75...i shown it to customer care they updated software as well changed the internal connector but doesnt get solved.                   I think that lot o[censored]sers getting this problem. I also had this problem with my 4 months old Q5 in last. It got resolved when I restored the default settings. And till now it is working properly.

                  But guys beware that after restoring the default settings you woulf lose all your games/ applications you have installed on you phone. Also you have to do all the settings for Opera, Nimbuzz, eBuddy etc again!

                  Otherwise this mobile is very good. I'm satisfied with its features!

                  Does anybody know the feature 'Reject call bye SMS'? How to use it. Could not find any information on internet... :-(

                  i too faced the same issue switched off and restarted again. Connected to headphone and then to FM radio ...when the FM was still running i unplugged the head phone...got the message EAR PHONE UNPLUGGED...it works fine now.

                  This is unbelievable. I AM FACING THE SAME "HEADSET" USER PROFILE PROBLEM. I TRIED RESTORING FACTORY SETTINGS, FORMATTED PHONE/MEMORY CARD etc. but still nothing is taking effect. Shall we come together and make this issue legally big? We haven't bought it for free friends.                   Hey guys...I have a solution to this problem. It is researched but accidentally found!I have a micromax Q3 and had the same problem since last 3 days. But today morning when I switched on my mobile my profile as reset to normal i.e. normal and no more was in the headset mode. I just followed one routine, that I kept my mobile mostly switched off during the nights. In the day time i used it but switched it off in the night coz' I couldn't use the 'Meeting' profile in night. So switching off your mobile for an entire day or two might help you out. Try this, after all you don't have to pay for it.

                  I faced the same problem after using a Micromax phone. Where initially the profile used to get stuck and when the phone was restarted without the headset it would change to general profile. I assumed it was a software bug.

                  But this time around it got stuck in profile no matter what I did it would not change to general that's when I read this thread. It was useful in that it became clear that it was a mechanical fault in the headset jack. I found a very crude solution to the problem and it fixed my phone.

                  Just insert the headset jack half way into the socket and twirl it around slowly till the phone shows the earphone plugged out. This could damage the socket and jack in the long run so be gentle with the twirl.
                  I have the same problem with my Q5 and we need to take this issue up they cannot sell buggy products and make money and name sponsoring Cricket tournaments.

                  Model: Micromax Q5
                  Problem: Profile couldn't be changed from headset as the activate option wasn't shown in user profiles
                  Solution: As mentioned in the above discussions,
                  1. Switch off your phone
                  2. turn it on again
                  3. Plug In the headset and pull it out several times, repeat this until you get a pop up message saying : 'earphone plugged out'
                  4. Now go to User profiles and check that you can see the Activate option in all the other profiles.

                  My thanks to those who have mentioned this solution, I am commenting here to re-assert that this solution worked for me. It should work for you as well.

                  I have the same problem, my Q5 dosent change from headset. I tried everything, i even reset it to factory default setting. Opened and checked the headphone shocket it seems ok. There is another problem, the trackball gets jammed. Fortunately for me, I can fix some mechanical problem myself. It usually stuck because of the dirt and small fibre like threads. If you are little cautious and have little mechinical mind you can fix that problem.

                  I too have Micromax Q5, Its been 8 monts since m using it. But recently My Q5 had two problem together. It took almost two months to sort out and fix the problem. But I made it, all the two problems.
                  Heres how: Solutions
                  1. Headset profile not changing, - It is purely a mechanical fault. it wont work by changing the headset. Because the problem is at the socket of the mobile headset jack. When you unpluck the headset jack, the speaker of phone disconnects and the line passes to the headset jack. The problem here is when you unpluck the headset the mechanism which should again get back to phone speaker fails. It may be slightly bend or stuck. What you have to do is -
                  Open the back case with small good screw driver, after reoving battries, sims and memory card. Then with the help of needle from inside of the mobile, if your mobile is placed flat facing the screen at ground, then at the left side of the inside jack socket you will see a small connectin and disconnecting mechanism, from inside below of that small flat plate try to pull apart form them the socket interior wall, untill earphone is plucked off message.

                  2. Problem with the Opera Mini not Exist.- At first I find it very difficult, yes you have downloaded the Opera Mini software, but how will you install into your phone. You copy into the phone memory, go to that file, but there is no option to install or run the programme.
                  The simple solutions is - Since your Opera browser is not working, go to services of the menu and choose your approprate(If Aircel> then Wap) > homepage> type Opera mini for mobile(in the search box) download the opera mini, it will give the programme to install by itself, Just press yes or OK, few minutes and your opera mini will be ready.

                  I restarted the phone.

                  then plug the earphone.

                  then started one song...

                  then forcefully remove the JACK...(try this two or three times ...)

                  And DONE...Back to normal...Now never listen the song!!!
                  thanx a lot folks..i know a lot of solutions are given..they may or may not work everytime..there's no guarantee..I did the same thing as suggested by some of you..

                  switched off the phone>switched it on again>inserted the headphone>open music player and played a song>then tried connecting and disconnecting the headphone repeatedly..

                  "Pratsoni" said two or three times..but it didn't work..

                  So i got frustrated..but didn't lose my hope..i kept on doing it..again then again..then again..this time with heavy speed and force Iwas connecting and disconnecting repeatedly..

                  and VOILA!!! :) ultimately it worked..after about 30-35 attempts..could have needed more attempts..so anyone having this problem..you may try this..I can't assure this is really gonna work everytime..but this should be your first try..if the problem persists try doing other things..

Symultaneously it give s aprofile change, too. It is really irritating as while I am on call the voice is not heard and I find that the message" Earphone plugges in" with the earphone icon. When I roate the track ball the above messages appear alternatively, ans sometimes they appear even without touching the phone. This is really irritating. Please help.

                  Solution - just check headset socket at your mobile and check any of the pin is bend .. use small knife and straight the pin which is bend but do it carefully ...don't break any pin... it's a mechanical fault.
                  Hi, I am facing the User prrofile problem, If I keep my mobile on Vibrate mode that is Meeting mode but when somebody calls me up the phone does not vibrate and goes to silent mode, so do not recognize that i am receiving calls.

                        Im also using Micromax Q3 from last 4 months. Im disagree on few points made by you.

                        1) You can put the phone silent on ringing by pressing "SILENT" option.
                        2) You can select the Vibration mode only for ringing or vibration only by going
                        in Profile-Customize-Alert type-then anyone option from four.
                        3) Videos can be seen on full screen by pressing "ALT" key during or before
                        the Video.

                          I am not able to change the user profile, only the headset profileis working on my phone and it is set as default it does not change to the default user profile even after the removal to the headset from the mobile .

                          I faced teh same problem and i have this solution.

                          Once your cell is in headset mode, insert the head phone and REMOVE it with bit force. So that, your mobile sends a message "Earphone plugged out".

                          If you are able to achive this, your mobile is back to normal .
                          yes remove the headphone connector from jack with extra force !This happens due to some internal miss connection in the jack after frequent use of headphones, the internal pins in the jack gets little deformed and may result in miss connection, and this puts question on the quality of the phone as the earphone jack is subject to frequent insertion and removal of the headphone connector, micromax should have used high quality jacks and this is a very common problem!

                          This is not a software issue, but it is a hardware issue...

                            Hi i have recently purchased MICROMAX X510 PIKE. It came along with SNAPTU application as inbuilt. The application is good and very useful. But its not opening and when ever i try to open it says that "JAVA APPLICATION STOPPED". And one more important thing when ever i downloads a file or application from net, it wont run or install at any cost. It simply says "JAR NOT FOUND". I would like to ask Micromax Company personal that if your not giving proper updated applications with mobiles then why are you giving mass advertisement and cheating the people.

                              I've micromax q5 handset in it I'm not able to acess Opera mini, E-Buddy and G talk in built applicaions.                                   This is Laxmi Narayana G. I bought Airtel USB modem Micromax 300G in one of the Airtel outlet in Triplicane Chennai.
                                  And my Airtel number is:[protected]. Before purchasing the device I contacted Customer care and they said like
                                  Micromax 300G costs 3499 but the incharge of the outlet said that it costs 3799. So I imediately contacted customer care
                                  and asked the incharge to talk to the customer care, he spoke with the customer care and still argued that it costs 3799.
                                  Also said there are two models one is locked and another is unlocked which I know he was telling some stories but even though
                                  I bought the modem from the same outlet for 3800/- expecting a good service. He said that minimum I would be getting 90kbps and maximum was upto 256 kbps.
                                  They took two days to activate my number that to be after calling customer care for several times. Finally I got the connection but
                                  the speed I am getting is only 1.71KB/sec i.e around 10kbps. Again I contacted customer care and informed that I was getting very
                                  less speed Service Request No.is 31420660 but nobody turned up so far. So I contacted again after a week but no proper response.
                                  I donam sure that there is no problem with my computer because I bought this computer a month ago. My computer configuration is
                                  4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Core 2 duo 2.9 processor, Windows 7 ultimate.. I am really frustrated with the service provided by Airtel
                                  so I want the complete refund for the device. I never used the internet connection at all. I ve been a Airtel customer since 6 years
                                  ever since I bought Airtel USB modem which really made me unhappy. I am planning to get Airtel broband connection. .
                                  I even contacted Nodal officer but my call was disconnected 4 times. This is the worst customer service I ever expirenced.
                                  So Kindly give my money back.

                                    this complaint is against the shop keeper to whom i ve given the set for repair on 03/03/2010. i was told it should be sent to head office as it could not be repaired. i granted the permission.
                                    i dont know wat is the result the shop owner is not at all recieving the calls even though his personal phone is ringing.
                                    this is the not proper way to deal with a customer.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I bought a new Micromax X260 phone before 3 months from Rudrapur, and after one month using this phone I noticed that Phone’s lcd is not working properly.


                                      Therefore I submitted my phone on Micromax authorized service center in Haldwani(Nainital) on 07.02.2010.But after one and half month I’m not getting proper response from your service center and they are still saying that LCD is still being repaired.



                                      Is it possible that a mobile manufacturing company is taking more than one month to repair a very minor problem which can be repaired in 2-3 days.



                                      I’m really fad up with this type of response from Micromax authorized service center.
