[Resolved]  Motorola — Not Repairing and Asking Money

Some prob occured in the phone suddenly. The phone got swtiched off and on putting it on the phone just vibrates.It was given for repair to the authorised service centre in pune.. After keeping it for a month they returned it back saying that USB port is missing.. The fact was that the phone was not even touched from inside and they said that the mother board has to be replaced.

Motorola — Problem is still pending after almost 3 months

Hello Sir/ Madame,

This is sanjiv gaurav residing in Sector 51, Kendriya Vihar, Noida. I am drafting this complaint to bring it into your knowledge that Motorla which says gives the best service in the market is totally wrong. It's really pethetic and the worst service in it's field. I encountered a problem with my handset almost 3 months back when my cell was in warranty period. I surrendered the handset at the Noida service centre (Motorola care, sec 27, beside Vinayak hospital) to get it fixed but everything gone in vain. Till today i am waiting for my issue to be fixed. They are just making things round and round saying that it has been send to L2, L3 and do not where else... They even sent it to their headquarters but received the ceel back in the same condition. The person involved in this are Mr. J.P. Sharme (Cell # +91-[protected]) and Mr. Dheer (Cell # +91-[protected]). I want your co-operation in teaching these troublesome people or company a good lesson so that it doesnt happen someone else.

Motorola L6i — poor battery

i am very sorry to say but the service centre of motorolathat is setup in the dolamundai area is offers very oor service in case of mobile repairing.The "CHANNEL 4" service centre has very inefficient employees who don't treat their customers with respect and disrespect them.My mobile got its defect in the april month.i submitted it to them and they returned it back to me in a about a week on 8th april 2010.they replaced my battery,charger and updated my software.hell broke loose when i found the phone repeatedly got swithched off on any key being pressed.morever the new batter that i got replaced by paying Rs.500 gave me very poor backup.talktime time was only 2-3 hrs.i plead please look into the matter failing which i will lodge a complaint in consumer forum for the inefficeient services of motorola service centres.better stop hiring inefficient and unprofessional employees like that of "CHANNEL 4".

this is not true. I am a scam victim myself by this same person, and he sent me the same message with same numbers and email. and HE IS A CRIMINAL. do not reply back to it.
he also had another advert on the net about a puppy that i wanted to buy, ( thought it was real ad) and he scammed $1500 from me and now is trying to scam me another way by another number. they are from africa. Hes country code is +229 which is from Benin (africa)
and hes other number starts with +237 which is Cameroon (africa)
if you get emails from [protected]@yahoo.com or petairagency, then they are all scams. be carefull people. also BE AWARE TO NOT EVER SEND MONEY THROUYGH WESTERN UNION TO SOMEONE unless u know them in person very well, as thats how he got the money from me and i wont be able to get it back... :(

Motorola — Cheating and selling outdated technology to the consumers

I recently purchased motorola backflip MB300 handset, i was never informed that it runds an outdated operating system "Android 1.5" while "Android 2.2" is the standard in todays market. Due to this i cant use many of the features that were promised to me.

Also i was told that i can call on "[protected]" for any complaints and a technician would arrive at my doorstep for any help, to my surprise, when i called this number it says " This Number Does not Exist, Please Check the Number you have dialed".

Motorola is selling all the outdated technology in the US and UK to us in India without following minimal ethics, what does thay think of India?

Something has to be done and Indian markets should not accept their outdated products whatsoever.

My Name is K.Balachandar from Trichy, Tamil Nadu. I purchased a motorola A810 model handset on 09october 2009. on 07 october 2010 my handset touch screen is not worked i couldnt use the handset, accidentaly my finger part is hardly pressed in that touch part. my handset touch screen part is not worked. i visit to the Service Centre (XPRESS COMMUNICATION, REDINGTON'S PARTNER) on 07th october 2010 at 6.00 p.m as that service center timing is 10a.m to 7p.m. The engineer simply told that its a water log complaint. i explained the problem too patiently. After sometime i introuduce myself as i am also a old motorola mobile engineer and arguments then they opened the handset. i told open the handset is there any water log symptoms or damages show me. then they told no sir water is logged at the centre of the touch part. I explained so many times then they took the snap shot of the handset then the lady told that i will enquired in the head office and i will do this by tomorrow. i told them kindly receive the handset and give the job sheet. but they didnt receive the handset. I explained that the warranty will expire on 09.10.2010. They simply told that we will inform and receive it by tomorrow i.e on 08.10.2010

On 08 october 2010 i went in the afternoon. An engineer simply told sir the lady who is in our office is not here, she is on leave so i couldnt give the feedback and i couldnt receive the handset. you just come tomorrow. I left the service centre

On 09.10.2010 i went in the afternoon same time. Another engineer is there. That day the told the same story and he never accept my wordings. He simply told that you just come on monday. I requested the engineer and explained about my position because every day i put permission to my office i travelled 25 kms from my work place.Eventhough they didnt give the feedbacks.i went somany times to the service centre.

As an engineer i told all formalities. As a Service centre people what they do 1. They have to receive the handset and they have to give the job sheet or if like they suspects means they have to give the report if a customer asks.

They didnt do this things because they dont know

1. They didnt receive the handset
2. They didnt put any jobsheets
3. if a customer asks its in return means they have to give

Like this the service centre people works then how can a customer will tolerate. my warrenty period is also over.

Kindly help how can i repair my handset or where can i give the handset for repairs hereafter.

Motorola — Selling substandard handsets by Motorola

Bot Motorola mobile EM325 Duo standard with 1 year warranty. Had problem for 4th time. Half baked repairs on earlier 3 occassions (they held the mobile for totally 2 and a half months in the warranty period). Now under work order MV/MO/10/01018 is more than 45 days. What is the remedy I have. They hold the piece for 4 months during the warranty period tells a lot about the quality control they have or how they manage to sell sub standard items in India.

I purchased a motorola A810 on 03-feb-2010.on 18-nov-2010 my handset touch screen is not worked then me submit my set in simran communication on 19-nov-2010. after 10 days he inform to me plz submmit your mobile accessories because he said we replace your handset. now today is 13-dec-2010 we have not receive any information from service centre. he said we have no informotion about my cell but his cce said your cellphone is despatche don[protected].

Motorola — not accept warranty claim

Dear sir,
I have baught a motorola mobile one and hallf month back.The battery backup of battery is only one day (24hrs only), but it should be 250 hrs standby and 200hrs up to talk time.Also 3 mp camera is not working well and creats problem. Also,touchscreen is not working convienentely. I had gone to motorola service center, but he has not given any proper response. Regularly , i m approaching service center, but no response 4 exchansing battery. Yet . warranty of mobile and battery is one year.

Im going with you people... Its a bad fate for our India to hold Motorolla service center with Redington. Im n chennai. I bought MB300. Its external speakers are very poor. So, there is only one choice to go with the headset. Even i tolerated and enjoyed with what i have. After 1 and half month, it didnt work. I checked with the chennai service center at T Nagar. The agree to provide replacement as the fault is with the headset. They raised a work order for my requst. Its date is around February 1st. But, till todate they repeat the same answer 'NO STOCK'. In the middle, i forced them to keep track on my headset. And, i went 3 times based on the confirmation that they got replacement for my headset. But, fortunately, i know the headset no of my handset. They trying to cheat me with the local one which not even suite for my mobile. Even i cant hear anything with the replacement headset which they provided. And, they try to conveince me with the answer this is what the logistics are providing for this mobile. I believe they are doing things like smuglers. I believe, they are receiving the replacements, but selling those stocks outside for sale. This is the worst service center i ever hear.

I believe someone will take a look at our complaint. Else, people will loose their faith on Motorolla.

i bought motorola ex 128 model last year from the mobile store located at kukatpally for Rs.5,000/-god dam mobile not even a single thing working in that! no battery backup, no functioning of default applications. why this type of mobiles are allowing in market so can i get any relief on this issue or how can i stop such useless products from motorola pls kindly help me. can i sue on court for the relief

I explained so many times & requested also .otherwise you must contact your head office how to work my phone properly ? he says here is not available. as servicemen is not says clarity & he plays any games..he is not co - operation with consumers. that's why asked to you where is solved my problem? as service center members not gives ideas then why are you launches in so many branches & how to gives all rights for irresponsible persons? why are you introducing this type of cheapest mobiles in market?i asked to you how to solve my problem & how to get my working mobile?..please give the service center address in Hyderabad or as nearest places...

Motorola — Handset crashes twice, service abject

My handset XT Fire crashed twice in the first month. I lost my data twice and they still don't agree for a replacement. It's been lying with them for the last 60 days. They didn't bother to inform me about anything anytime in the last 40 days. Now they say they tested it for 2 days (wow!) and they've repaired it.

And on call they tell me that they are there to 'respond'.

Out of a total of 3 months 1 week, I haven't used the handset even for 3 weeks. I spent Rs.9000 to buy that handset. What use is that handset?

Pathetic in all respects, Motorola. Beware!

Motorola — No response from company

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a Motorola Milestone Mobile from Hotspot in sector 22B in Chandigarh.
After next day of purchase a defect arise in cell phone and I have to submit this phone in service centre.

After one week service centre has issued me a DOA certificate and told me show this certificate to dealer from where you have purchased this mobile and he will provide you replacement.

But dealer refused to provide replacement to me and Motorola customer care is also not responding to me to resolve this is issue.
