[Resolved]  Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic — Can not operate the phone by handsfree

I bought a nokia 5800 xpressmusic on 20th october, 2009 from Mobilestore Baguiati, Kolkata. When they demonstrate the set, then we saw that we can notr accept calls from the handsfree. The store guys told me that there will be some settings problems and please see the manual and it will be fixed. I discover at the night of 20th october, 2009 that the handsfree does not work at all. Next day I went to the mobile store and they told, as that is one day over, the responsibility was not their. They told me to go to nearest nokia care which is situated at golaghata, kolkata. I submitted the handset to them on 23rd October, 2009, after 10 days they told they even not send it to head-office (Noida) and there as I insist to check, they discover the problem is not of the handsfree but of the headdset. Then I again inform the mobile store guys. They told me to submit the set again to nokia care as they talk to the head of the customer care and the mobile store head also and they assure me to fix the problem. I again submitted the headset and the handsfree to nokia care on 3rd November, 2009 as they send the all things to Noida, the head-office for repairing or replacement. After then on 14th November, 2009 the nokia care guys call me, as my set is back repaired. When I go to receive my phone I found the problem is as it is and the headset can not detect the handsfree remote at all.

I'm just fade up with these guy's irresponsibility. I bought the phone with approx Rs. 13590. which is a big ammount for me. And from the day I bought it I even can not use it.

Please help me. If you need any document please let me inform, I'll provide it.

Nokia 5800 — problem in handfree mike

I buy Nokia mobile 5800 on 16.03.2009 with EMEI: [protected]. Now the problem is in his handsfree mike & display hang & speaker I submit about these problem in nokia care on 24/06/2009. They send mobile to head office with job sheet no:[protected]/090620/9. I recive back mobile on 30.06.2009 when i check phone i see problem of mike does not solve. I request them before and now again that please replace me a new phone. now they send again my mobile with same job sheet no.
This is my humble request that i face lots of problem by this hand set i Face mental & phisical harracement. Please accepct my request.

Before these problem two times software change would solve from local care centre. After buy mobile i go out of station for 14 days . On day 3 after buy i face a problem in speaker about this problem i visit faridabad care centre. Now these problem.
Yes, i too faced the problem...If i hang the headset and sit in my bike covering with helmet, the other party can't recognize my voice or what am speaking...they say that the voice is not so clear or they ask me to use the handset directly instead headset...Headset is used for the time when we travel...If this is a problem, then what's the purpose o[censored]sing a headset...kindly go thru the case and do the need...
I fully agree with the problem. This problem happends from the day one for me as well. When i connect the mike, after sometime it got blanked out and i am not able to hear anything and the phone got hang. I have to switch off and restart the phone which keeps me annoying every time and lost my interest in using the phone.

I have handed over to Nokia customer care in tnagar and waiting for the problem to get resolved.

First time i encountered the issue of phone not storing the charge while it is showing that its charging, I had taken it to Nokia Care {Service and Communication: A-180 Sukhdev Nagar Market, Kotla Mubarakpur, Opposite defence colony Red Light, New Delhi -110003} on 13 Nov 2010 and got the cell back on 27 Nov 2010{Saturday} And they also charged me an amount of 2850,yet the problem was not fixed , then i reported the same and returned the mobile to them on 29 Nov 2010{Monday} and then they returned me the phone in an almost working condition which stopped working in a just week.while i was out of the city.and that was most frustating, it completely charged out and never came up even me putting another battery.this nokia care also tested my battery when i gave them the phone second time. then just a week before i again returned the phone to them reporting that the phone has stopped working that i tried to charge it but it never work..the phone is getting heated up.

Two days before when i again visited this nokia care for a positive status they told me that my phone is dead and they tried software reinstallation to make it work, so i may have to again pay up a huge amount of money too.this is not all acceptable, the more annoying thing is that no one in this nokia care not even there manager is ready or even bothered to accept any kind of responsibility even after knowing the fact that i am visiting this nokia center for the same issue for the forth time

I Really never understood this excuse of there."How in this world is it possible to update the software of a dead phone?"
I really had a bad experience with this nokia centre and would really appreciate some one responsible from nokia could take care of this issue or i would be forced to report this issue to consumer forum as i feel i have been cheated.

Hope I wont be disappointed this time.
