[Resolved]  Nokia 6708 — Not working from the begining, not replaced the phone

I purchased a Nokia 6708 1year back from a showroom in Bangalore . I t never worked properly, neither they replaced

I have been facing problems with my Nokia 6708, which I bought close 20 thousand. I have given the phone for 4 times to the service station, my problem are never resolved, even they are increasing day be day. The Problem Started from day one it had some outgoing problems and major problems are related to software. I was using the high end phone first time so I thought, I have low knowledge about this phone, that’s why I’m not able use it properly. But when I started all the features of the phone, for me most of the things were not working.



Problems I was facing when I bought the phone.

-Outgoing problems
-Internet connectivity
-Battery Dies away in one day thought I was a bellow average user of the phone
-Although camera in the phone is 1.2 pixel which should be enough to get good picture, it give very dark picture, so no use of that.
-I was not able to change the tunes because of software problems
-, NO Backup Facility Provided on High-end phone
- Service Station in places use to take 15 days fro servicing the phone and never use to provide the backup phone for the use.


I think, what they do in service is to install the service.

Problems I was facing in now.


In addition to the problems:

Now I‘m facing ON -0FF incoming and outgoing. but major problem is incoming as I cannot receive the calls and as this phone I’m using for the personal, business purpose and for my Job. All the people have complain that your phone is most of the times is disconnected mode.

-Since backup doesn’t work, I Every time have to copy my number on the paper and ever time I loose all the message and data in notepad, ppt’s and word.
-I should have an extra Mobile set if I cannot depend on this phone. For that matter I have purchased which costed me close to Rs 3000.


Customer Services

 They hang up during the call, when ever they want
 Cannot resolve the issues, called them 50-60 times for the back up & internet issues.
 To toll free number is there for the customer services, I wasted more then Rs 1000 on phone calls and speaking the customer services.
 It’s a closed end services, I cannot talk to the customer service representative, If I want to talk to manager I cannot, I camnoot even get the email addres of ant manager to discuss the case.
 They don’t note down the call notes and they don’t provide reference number of the call, so every time I call, I have to explain the same thing to them which causes waste of my time & money. They only give case number 48 hours after you deposit the sets in Service sentre.
 4 times I have deposited the set and don’t believe in them that they will fix it, So I don’t want to collect


I don't know what can be done about this. I have similar experience when my wife bought a high end phone. Service took 2 months.

It is horrible experience to deal with nokia customer service. It is worst customer service and a worst european company with [censored]ed up indian employees who don't know the problem and how to handle but give that rude stupid service. [censored] nokia.
NOKIA 6708.
i have some softwares problem.
but i have brought to the Nokia care- they said that we dont do service
for the mobile.
then i give to my friend informed shop and service center. they have flash my phone.
it working so good and so faster. now i have no problems.
but i want to buy a new battery for my nokia 6708. it is not available in my places.
so, somebody help for the battery. i can solve your nokia 6708 softwares problem.
i have flash my phone at a cost of Rs.550/-

Nokia 6708 — not starting

i have a nokia 6708.for the first 1 year,it worked very well but after that it fell from my hand.it just gives
a white screen with nokia written on the bottom of the screen and a yellow light flickering continuously.
i had shown it to many shops but they had no solution for it.please tell .me if someone has a solution.
