This is to inform you that I have purchases the above mentioned set on 18.08.08 but it is surprising to state that the same was not working since 24.09.08. I have lodge the complain to your service centre at Nokia Care, College More, DN 1, Sector 5, Kolkata - 91.

They have check the same & inform me that there is water loging in the set & it requires to change the mother board. They have denied to change the mother board & ask to pay the charges for the same of Rs. 5500/-.

Since, the guarantee of the set is not getting over, why should I pay the charges for the same.

You are requested to please sorted out the problem & also know me you toll free no. at the earliest & .

    Nokia 6085 — Stolen Phone

    Dear Sir,

    I got reference of your site while I was searching for websites that trace lost / theft mobiles.

    I have experienced a very bad incidence last month. Somebody has stolen my Nokia 6085.

    I have filed an FIR in the police station. I want your help to trace my mobile. I have got a much easier option to forget that mobile and buy a new one but I want the culprit to be severely punished. This situation created by him has mentally troubled me a lot.

    Nokia — IMEI no of no use after phone got stolen

    Hi,
    I bought a Nokia 1680 classic just 3 days back, and today it got stolen. Surprisingly, Nokia customer care is claiming that they cant block the phone from further use even with the help of IMEI no.

    If that is the case, then why put IMEI on your boxes, Nokia???

    This company is a cheat, because, if they would block the handsets, then thieves would soon realize that there is no use to steal handsets anymore, so, eventually the number of stolen mobile would come down to zero and Nokia would loose a large share of its income because, no one would buy a new phone just because the old one got stolen.
    Thats why Nokia is not starting this service in India intentionally...whereas it is already there in all developed countries, where people are not ignorant and tolerant like us.

      Got the same message but the guy's name was Charles Green, and i was told to contact western union lagos-nigeria, how weird is it?

      i got the same msg from a Charles Green just today and I replied, sending my e-mail address and phone number. let's see what happens. In any case, I would love to win 300, 000 pounds, in a legal way. I'll keep you all posted:)
      I received the same msg from Mr Charles Green that it is the NOKIA 40th anniversary and I had won 300 000 pounds, and i won a trip to UK, and i had won a mobile E61i, and to get my money, I have to contact with WESTERN UNION IN LAGOS NIGERIA, Rev Pascale Obadan, so please can you tell me if that is true, if not you have to do something with this gye because it is about your name

So is this fake or what? Please someone reply..

          My Nokia Mobile Model-5610d is not working. I bought the mobile on 21 March 2008 and it is still under Warranty Period. I had given the mobile for repairing to Nokia Care situated in Thippasandra-Bangalore, on 9th September, 08. They had given me the Dispatch Date as 16 September, 08. But on 16th September they told me that there is some hardware Problem with the Mobile and they wanted another week to Dispatch the Mobile. But even on 24 September, 08 they had not repaired the mobile. They again wanted some time. I had taken my Mobile back without repaired and I will give it to any other Nokia Care Center in Bangalore.

          I am not happy with the services of Nokia Care-Thippasandra(Bangalore). I am planning to take this issue to Consumer Court if they will not do any steps regarding my Complaint.
          Even i faced the same problem in this nokia care center...

              This refer to mine, Gajender singh which I have deposited for getting replace at Nokia Care center at Patel Nagar which now shifted to Green park on 28th of June, this is my Job Sheet no. I have also visited many times at the branch of Green Park but till date I am unable to get my Memory Card more over when I call to know Nokia care help line no. than they said I had taken my Memory Card on 11th sep when I visited 17th sep to that branch they refused to give my Memory Card I also send to a letter to Nokia H.O.

              Subject: Very bad service and performance of Nokia N73 ME

              Sir,
              I purchased Nokia N73 Music Edition from THE MOBILESTORE on 16th December, 2008 bearing the IMEI No:[protected]. After a period of five months, the phone started giving trouble. On 30th May 2009, I approached NOKIA Care (Gupta Associates, 16, Sector-4, Vaishali, Ghaziabad (U.P) for Joystick and battery problem vide their Job Sheet No: 582 dated 30/05/2009. They returned me the phone on 15th June evening around 18.15hrs after doing the needful. As the service centre closes at 18.30 hrs, they asked me to check the phone at home and assured me that the phone is working in perfectly now. On their assurance, I took the phone home and I found the joystick problem was still there. Next day was Tuesday and the service centre used to remain closed. Therefore on 15th June, 2009, I again handed over the phone to Gupta Associates vide Job Sheet No:[protected]/090615/15.

              On 17th June, 2009 they called me on my mobile and told that the phone is now working perfectly and I can collect it now. When I reached Gupta associates, I found that the end key is not functioning as well as the joystick too. I told them the fault is still there and now the end key is not functioning. They again took the phone for repair and given the same Job Sheet by changing the date on it. Now on 11/07/09, they called me on my mobile and told the Nokia has changed the phone and you can collect it. As per Gupta an associate, the PCB of the phone was changed by Nokia and a new IMEI No:[protected] was there on the phone. Again they assured me that the phone will now work perfectly as the PCB has been changed. But here it is regretted to say that the phone develops new problems such as no connectivity with the PC through USB, unable to recognize the head phone and memory card and no scanning of FM Stations. On 18th July I told Gupta associates and they again took the phone for repair.

              Will You please let me Know, Is this is the
              Quality Control of Nokia Company which is having a very good reputation not in India but in Asia and also in the eyes of a customer like myself.

              The Job Sheet bearing No. 1526 dated 18th July, 2009 was handed over to me. Today i.e., 27th July, 09 they asked me to collect the phone. When I reached Gupta associates, I found that the phone is still not able to scan the FM channels. I asked them that the problem is still there as the set is not able to scan the channels. They told me that you have to select the channels manually as Nokia has uploaded a new software in the phone and it can not be scanned automatically. Will Nokia can tell me that how can I feed the stations manually if I go outside from Delhi and I don’t know the frequency of FM stations, How I will select the stations. The set is lying still with the Gupta associates and they are telling that nothing can be done now and you have to take the phone in this state only.

              It is now requested, that I may be given a new phone (N-73ME) which can scan FM automatically or my money may kindly be refunded so that I can opt some other brand, which is having automatic scanning facility of FM. I hope that Nokia will take necessary steps to give me a new phone in perfectly running condition or refund me my money and take their product back. An early action is anticipated.

              Nokia — Unsatisfied By Nokia Care Services

              Let me introduce first. My name is Sumit Kumar and I bought a new Nokia 5800 mobile phone hardly nine months before. Unfortunately, now the mobile is not working as its touchpad is not functioning. Since the guarantee period of my mobile is not over, I visited the nearest Nokia care which is situated in New Delhi . But the service they offered in my case was extremely unsatisfactory and they hesitated to check the mobile properly to explore the fault associated with it. They were simply putting forth shear absurdities and arguing that those might be the reason behind the malfunctioning of the hand set. They are saying that substantial amount of water enter inside the phone and that caused the damage. I used to carry mobile in my pocket and most of the time I will be traveling by my own car. I agree that moisture from my body might have spread on the outer body of the hand set. But there is no chance to enter inside. They finally made the comment that they can’t service the mobile if hefty maintenance and service fee to repair it is not paid. I was very reluctant to do this as i knew that that was not at all a case of physical damage of mobile. I am expecting the full value of my money. But, as being a regular mobile user, the mobile phone is inevitable to me. This irresponsible attitude of the concerned people is just like a customer torturing and this can not be endured for a customer like me who is still having deep routed faith in the good will and customer service of Nokia. I request you earnestly for your quick intervention in this matter. I would be grateful if you can ensure that these kinds of bitter experiences from your regional officers can be avoided in present and future.

              Last time My handset repaired at this care, when this time I have given the mobile for same problem.
              Care said "One part of your mobile is not my company, It's changed. So your mobile is not taken in warranty.
              But I have never given anyother places to repaired the mobile accept nokia care.
              Then how its changed.

                  i am also experiencing that. i can receive messages but sending doesn't. i tried everything to refresh, to restore its default phone settings, but nothing changes. i'll just tell you later if i can find way/s in solving this matter. :D

                  well, Nokia 6120 Classic, unable to send a messeg, same error i am facing from long time, and for the solution i flashed my mobile 3 times, by flashed i mean updating all the software again. and i did it in market and they charged me 300Rs each time, now i do not have any solution else than that, and now i am again facing same problem but i am trying to fix it by myself with its software.

                    This is to bring to your kind notice that the Manager/Owner of Nokia care center Sector-22 CHANDIGARH is in practice of misbehaving and misconduct with the customers. I bought my Nokia 5310 from that shop as i was told that he will get the songs activated which come with the set, provide me with a good mobile cover. He gave me a cover saying that thats the one they got. He didn't even bother to get the songs activated and told me to get it done myself. He also misbehaved with me when i told him that i was going to report against him. According to me CUSTOMER CARE CENTERS are meant to provide good and satisfactory services but my experience with Nokia CARE CENTER is totally opposite. The Manager/Owner out there were really rude and harsh. I would appreciate if some action is taken against him.

                    Nokia N-73 — POOR SERVICE

                    i my name is ashish grover, i had purchased a nokia n73 music edition from one of the nokia priority dealers (Aggarwal sales corp sector 34 chandigarh)

                    but i am sorry to say that the kind of product quality nokia claims .. the product does not deliver even half of that,

                    the product that i purchased turned out to be faulty, it had a fatal problem of restarting during a call, during a call the phone switches it self off and then after a gap of few seconds switches itself on...

                    I went to the nokia care center ( Electra sector 35 chandigarh )... they reloaded the software and handed back the phone to me ... the reason 'virus'... i came back thinking it to be a virus prob... That same day it restarted during a call again ( i had not loaded any thing in it .. even the tones were default and memory card formatted )

                    i again handed back to nokia care ... they did mechanical repair of the phone ... handed me back ... again the same day it restarted during a call.i paid 150 rs to my service provider to get the sim card replaced thinking it to be a sim prob...but no avail ...

                    i came to them the next day ... they said that they will have to send the phone to their head office ... it will take 15 days ... i deposited the phone ... for 15 days my phone was with nokia .. today on 23rd april... i got my phone back ... with the same problem... THE PROBLEM IS THE SAME..today too the phone restarted itself during a call and that too when the nokia customer care executive was inspecting the phone before handing it over to me... yet they tried to hush up the matter and asked me to take the phone home today and deposit back tomorrow.

                    now the firmware has been reloaded twice and the phone has gone to nokia centre for almost 20 days ... what do i do ...

                    I have purchased this phone on 1st april. and till date it has not been a single day when i have used this phone to the fullest... it is always annoying and irritating to see important calls drop...

                    I am working in an organization with a total strength of 1300 people and i will make sure that no one buys nokia...

                    as i have no other choice ... i need to go to nokia care center again...

                    Nokia N73 ME — Poor response from the Nokia Care.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I purchased a Nokia N73 Music Edition from Global Access, Bangalore on December 2008. One day as I was taking Photos in my phone, a small crack appeared on the right-top most corner. I neglected it and went on with my work. Next day i saw that my full screen is gone. The very next day itself I went to Global Access, and they asked me to go to Nokia Care. This happened on 01/01/2009, just two weeks after i purchased the mobile.
                    For this i went to Nokia Care in BTM Layout second stage on 03/01/2009. I produced the Guarantee card also . But the response from their part was too horrible. They told they wont consider screen problems under consideration, for Guarantee. Only small problems will be considered !!! (Then what is the need for that !!!).
                    I had a talk with their manager also. He also told me the same. So i was forced to pay an amount of 1910 for getting it done.
                    I also convinced them that it might be the problem with the piece, not mine. Then also they didn't consider my request. So for that dump mobile i paid a total amount of 15000. These types of Humiliations should be stopped at any cost. So i request you to kindly look into this seriously and take a mean action.

                    I have given my nokia for repair in mobile hut-nokia care-palakkad dt-kerala state.the complaint was that the camera is getting on every time the phone is in use. they told its only a soft ware problem and will repair and give it back in 2 day"s time.not only they have taken 2 weeks and charged 550/- the same complaint started after 2 hours of repair.I went back.they told it seems to be a problem of the switch inside and asked me 2 come after 2 days.this time it took 3 weeks time.finally they told some problem with mother board and have corrected it and gave it back.on checking the phone i realised that while pressing 3, 7is comig 5 instead of 1 and up arrow not working.again i went back.they told some problem with the key pad and asked 1 day this time. gave it in time finally .i used my phone for 3 days .the same complaint 7instead of 3 and 5 instead of 1.i cant dial 3 or 7 from my phone.what should i do now.

                    Nokia N73 — Poor service of Nokia Care Centre

                    Strong Grievance against pathetic service quality, response & attitude.

                    I have given my M73 Mobile under warranty for repair on 4th July, 2009 vide job sheet no. 962 at Nokia Care Centre, Gupta Associates, Sector 4, Vaishali, Ghaziabad. I was informed that software upgrade is required and delivery would be done on 6th July. However, I did not get the mobile on the promised date but was assured delivery on 8th July at 11 am. To my surprise, the care centre was closed & was told by somebody that it will repoen only on 10th July. Am I fool? I called up customer care of Nokia & registered a complaint vide no 1-[protected]. Response of Mr. Shadab was again very casual has nopthing has happened. He had no reason of closure of the centre. Still he told me to wait for 48 hours and after that I could give him a call back to know the status. Is that the reason I called up. I feel Nokia is just making fool out o[censored]s. Nokia is only interested to sell the product and give a damn to after sales service. That is the reason of giving franchisee to such unprofessional agencies like Gupta Associates.
                    I am not going to wait till 48 hours. I want the answer from Nokia immediately - why the centre is closed whatsoever be the reason because I am not bothered about any reason. I want my mobile back, even if that is unrepaired. Otherwise I will be forced to escalate the issue by taking legal help.

                      But since l was not aware of the conmen through fake emails in the internet, l took my time and responded until went through some emails about consumer complaints.lts painful to work tirelessly and then someone comes from nowhere to benefit from my sweat, lt good they never got even a shilling of mine.
                      Dear winers, all over the world, I'm from Serbia and received two SMSs from theese gentlemen of "NOKIA"...one of them the day before yesterday, and another today. There were two different e-mails (nokia.[protected]@live.com; nokia.[protected]@live.co.uk) and two different phone numbers(+[protected];[protected]) in them.on which I should claim my winings.Those gentlemen had also typed two different sums of money (450, 000.00 and after that 530, 000.00 GBP!!!) that I "won" by my mobile phone number that was randomly chosen from...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...I replied in order to receive an explanation from them, but instead, they've send me a congratulations postacard with some bizar and gramaticly wrong text, and also some kind of appeal to claim my won by filling the form attached. i don't know what it's all about but it seams to me like scam!

                        In my earlier letters I tried to draw your kind attention regarding the above model mobile purchased from M/S Cariano Next, 8-E, Kamla Nagar, Delhi Dt:- 04/02/2011. Within a period of 4-5 months the mobile became defective and I contacted M/S Nokia care center, Indl. Area – A, Ludhiana. and expressed my desire to replace the same. But they refused to do so instead they intended to repair the keypad against payment of Rs. 800/-. Later on my insistence that the set is within warranty period they tried to repair the set without payment but the set is still not properly repaired and is defective.
                        It is not understood why Nokia after sale service is not improved and the customer is unnecessarily harassed at Nokia care centers after purchasing Nokia mobiles when they become defective. Added to this there are other multinational companies selling variety of goods but no such bad experience is observed. But only Nokia mobile company is not treating the customers in business like way. It appears the company only takes action when the customer seeks the legal aid from the consumer courts otherwise the matter remains unattended.
                        It is once again requested the above stated mobile which is within warranty period may be replaced at the earliest possible opportunity to avoid unpleasantness.

                          Big story to tell don't know from where I need to start about the 5610 Nokia handset. I bought my hand on 24th Mar 2008 from The Mobile store PUNE, soon I started facing problem like set getting hanged, automatically it resets, screen blanks out and many time i have to remove the battery and start all over aging which is really a pain. Long calls get disconnected. Also the adapter AD58 is not working. I went to Akshay Nokia care center at model colony, PUNE. No good response by the care center. I was asked to take a token before 6PM to register a complaint after 2/3 visits i was asked to leave my handset for s/w update as it has virus. I left my mobile on 8th Aug 2008 after nearly a month got the latest s/w updated and set formatted lost all my data. Nokia care asked me not to put in memory card as it will have virus etc. Truly speaking i don't use Bluetooth nor connected to usb port how the virus enters it's strange to understand and the stupid explanation a non technical people sitting at the counter. The same day i had submitted my hands free adapter for replacement till date after numerous visits i have not received it nokia care says AD58 model adapter no stock hence they keep on telling me to call after a week to check whether it comes in this times courier etc. I’m totally fed up.
                          Interesting part is i register with nokia customer care my complaint those people are too smart they again directed me to nokia care. Nothing is working in my favor. i asked them i want to ask the high authority of nokia company they said they can't give any clue of any designated person in Nokia and asked me to log a complaint like others on the complaint site.
                          i want a replacement at any cost. after spending 12000 hard money today I’m regretting why i bought this handset.
                          I saw 100s of complaint for same model i don't understand why nokia is not taking any action to satisfy the customers who are their bread and butter.
                          Desperately need help please help...

                          5610 Nokia handset. I bought my handset on 1st jan 2008 from trivandrum (kerala) I started facing problem like set getting hanged, automatically it resets then network problem, sliding problem then memorycard not working etc...i give my phone to nokiacare up to 6times at late i given my phone to nokia care on 22th dec 08 for out speaker was to working my warrenty was going to end on 31st dec.so if the hand set will show any problem after this what i will do. which is really a pain.
                          i want a replacement at any cost. i spended 13200 money I’m regretting why i bought this handset.
                          I saw 1000s of complaint for same model i don't understand why nokia is not taking any action to satisfy the customers .
                          Yes its the same with me too. Nokia has become pathetic these days. I too am regretting on my decision of buying Nokia 5610

                            Dear Sir,

                            I had submitted my mobile to your nokia customer care M/s Sapna enterprises A-4, Dutt Appartment, Sneh Vihar, Napier Town Jabalpur on 28.07.2008 in dead condition.

                            They said it will take 10 day time to repair & estimate of repair cost is Rs.1500/- I Said OK.

                            After that they said that the mobile is on, but some technical error is shown when started (contact the retailer) for rectifying the error it is send to company. I ask how much time it will take; again they said 15 days & repair cost is Rs.2500 I said ok.

                            On 15 day they said it takes 10 more days, after that they said it take 10 more days. Taking 10-10 days grace they take two month.

                            On last Friday they confirm that the mobile is repaired & it is on courier & reach jabalpur on Wednesday (24.09.2008 ).

                            I reached on 25.09.2008 to collect my mobile Mr.sumit of customer care said my mobile is not yet come. I said when you have confirmed me that my mobile is in courier how it will not reach.

                            They behave rudely & said I will mail today & call your mobile in what condition it is.

                            After 2month when your executive talks like this to me, then I don’t think that I have left other then going to consumer forum.

                            I will wait seven days for your replay.

                                On 21-07-08 I had purchased Nokia 6275 CDMA handset from Nokia Priority Centre, Dadar, Mumbai (Divine Cell phones)
                                At the time of purchase of handset, the dealer told me about the availability of the feature of on call record in the said handset. The manual also describes the availability of said feature.
                                But actually the handset is not having any software supporting the on call record feature. I have been following up for 2 months but the dealer or Company are denying for the same. Initially Nokia care centre called up & advised for upgradation of software at nokia centre but after that they are continuously denying about this feature. The Company has sold the defective handset & denying for replacement or allowing activation of on call record feature. PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOLUTION OR ALTERNATIVE.

                                nokia 6275 — NO ONCALL RECORDING FEATURE IN NOKIA 6275

                                Please note that I had purchased NOKIA 6275 on 22-06-08 from NOKIA Priority shop- Divine Cell phones at Dadar, Mumbai 400028. Before purchasing this handset i was told from the shop owner about availability of on call record facility in this handset, also the manual of this handset contains the availability of this feature. But the hand set purchased by me is not containing this featur or its not been activated.
                                You are requested to change my handset or provide me the supporting software to record the calls online.

                                nokia 6275 — irresponsible attitude of nokia care

                                plz note that i have given my moblie set nokia 6275 at nokia care at allahabad on 01-09-08 for repair job sheet no.MH00 808749.but it is really regretfuk to state that nokia care at alahabad is not in a position to answer me clearly that how much time will it take to get it repaired.today when i called them they said that my set is still in repair and they are waiting for some sapare part to arrive for it.i dont know what exactly they mean.
                                but anyway i would request you to kindly lookinto the matter and let me know that what is the status of my mobile set and when would i be geting it after getting it repaired.
                                as due to not having my mobile i am lossing lot of business and my work is getting hampered.
                                i hope that u will understand my posistion and will take a needul step to reslove the problem at the earliest.

                                nokia 6275 — Non receipt of sent from customer care (Delivery date was 09/12/08)

                                Sir,
                                I had purchased Nokia 6275 on 04/09/2008 and within two month the set was creating problem (no incoming audio during call receipt and when ever I try to connect enhansment on display it was showing it is not supported) for the said purpose set was given to Nokia care centre (Anshu Communication, Basement Shop No. 11 Lal Ganga Shopping Mall, GE Road, Raipur (CG) on13/11/2008. But the set was not yet ready and every time I got reply that set is not ready. Pls do needful.
                                Same here.

                                I suggest to sue Nokia. As you said the phone manual says that it supports on call recordings.

                                I know I'm a bit late to comment so tell me about if you have taken any actions.

                                I too have a manual and nokia care which doing the same.

                                      Dear Concern,

                                      Being a loyal customer of nokia I think it’s my duty to inform you some facts which came to my notice today…… these were told to me by owner/proprietor of Nokia Priority Ambala City (Haryana) Mr Tarun.

                                      It was his wording that nokia/Nokia Priority will not provide after sale service to any product purchased from subhiksha mobile. It was really shocking for me. Nokia is into sale of it’s product through subhiksha stores but unable to provide post sales service. As far as his pre sale is concern he was not polite in his sales pitch. It was my first interaction with nokia priority but I should say it was really very very bad………


                                      My relationship with nokia is almost 8 years long but I would not like to continue it any further. My last nokia was 7610 & this time I was going for E-71 but sorry to say I’ll swap it with HTC Touch.


                                      Now the ball is in your court, I thought it’s my duty to inform u…..….. i[censored] want to improve you can…….?

                                        Dear sir,

                                        I have purchased a Nokia handset model no. 6233 on[protected]
                                        for Rs.7200/- bill no. 829 on[protected] at HUBLI, Karantataka State on[protected] i found that the Handset is faulty. The number pad was not working. I gave the set for repair at Nokia care centre opp. Glass House, I.T. Park HUBLI. But they said that they cannot repair the handset and it has to be sent to Bangalore for repair and they sent that to Bangalore. They returned the repaired handsent to me on[protected]. But again on[protected] the same problem repeted i.e. the number pad was not working. I gave the handset to Nokia Care HUBLI for repair on[protected]. They repaired it and delivered the handset to me on[protected]. But now the right side Camara click button is not working when i went to Nokia care HUBLI on[protected] for repair, again they are saying that the handset has to be sent to Bangalore for repair. They have sent handset to Bangalore on[protected]. Job Sheet NO.[protected]/080912/29.

                                        I have suffered mentally very much because of the faulty handset
                                        given to me. Despite several repairs within four months from the date of purchase the handset is not working properly. I think there are lots of manufacturing defects in the handset. Therefore I kindly request you to deliver me another new handset to me in exchange faulty handset. Otherwise i may take legal course of action for recovery of money and compansation i sincerely hope you will solve my problem by delivering the new Handset in exchange of faulty handset at the earliest.

                                        nokia-6233 — faulty handset

                                        I bought a handset(nokia-6233) on 21.march.2008, after 7 days only there was a problem in it, it was getting restart again and again..i gave it to nokia service centre in patel nager-new delhi..it was fixed. again the problem happened on 09.may.2008...i gave them again, they said it is fixed..n i got the cell on 15.may.2008i.e today and again the same problem. and they are also not acceppiting that it is there fault...not at all ready to replace it. i m really pissed off

                                        2) During calling its hanging.
                                        3) Automaticly goes to switch off & restart.
                                        4) Speaker souund not ok.

                                        If after 6 months of purchasing of yur product these types of complaints will be come than tell us Its best product quality or not.
