,I have a very bad experience about my airtel broadband. Its number is 4171925. I have activated airtel landlines connection before three months. After this I need to transfer it to Broadband but I have got it after a very long time near about 10 days approx. Now I have droped a request to shift my connection. Airtel gives adds on each bill about easy movement. But after the maximum time I haven’t got any solution. When I call customer care about this. They logged a call time and I got a new reference number with a new increased committed time. So I am totally fur state. I wanna give a message to all my frnds that never use Aitel services in life.I am giving you all details here for reference. on 7th April I logged a ticket for shifting my connection, I got 12th as my max time for this work, on 9th I have logged a call again because I didn’t get any call from Airtel regarding my that call. But nothing happen. on 9th I have also call retention dept for this and they assure me that they will do my work within 24 hours else they will disconnect my connection but nothing happen. on 10th April after 24 hours I have called airtel again and I got next 24 hours for my work. Now I called Airtel Today 12th April on the deadline given by Airtel and I got a answer that they can not transfer this connection. I need to pay my all dues and they will disconnect my connection. If I logged a call on 7th then why I need to pay these 5 days dues to Airtel. Is it my fault ? Its Airtel responsibility to inform me shortly about my concern. If I didn’t call today then I need to pay all dues till that day when they give me ans ? Its totally a bill increasing concern nothing else.

Dear Sir/Mam,
My self ankit saini.I had taken your broadband connection in sep 2009. but i have requested to disconnect my connection in dec 2009 due to some reasion.but may be my request did not approved because you are sending bill regularly as per every month.at the time of my disconnection request your employee told me some schemes but i also told him, i don't want any shceme because i have to leaving this city(agra).so i am asking to you why did not disconnect my connection. airtel broadband is a great service provider because i have never face any problem due to take airtel connection.my connection detail are given below:-

    Hello,
    I have an annoying problem with my Sim card. Every time I send a message, I receive a service reply. Every time I call also. As I have the 150 sms free plan, I send a lot of sms per day. Long one. If I send around 500 characters (4 sms) in one sms, then I will receive 4 times the service reply... Just to tell me that my balance account has NOT changed. I could forget about it, if it wasnt using my "received sms" tone! To cancel it i just press any key, but 4 times it will come, so 4 times I have to press any key.
    I just want to cancel the service reply. I looked on the internet and it seems that it's not a common problem.
    Is there anything I can do against that?

      I am using my Airtail perpaid connection mainly for internet browsing. Neither I use any other value added service nor I want to. But the company forcefully activating this services i.e. caller tune, miss calls alert etc without my knowledge and deducting charges from my balance. The customer care do not take this complain seriously and it is also very difficult to contact with them.
      sir m a loyal customer of airtel from the last 3 years but instead of this airtel cheated wid me, the callertune of voice that is ek omkar which is forcefully setted to ma connection

      either change ma hello tune or take back ur hello tune n revert ma money .

      its an kindly request kindly look into this matter...it will be great from ur side

      Airtel Prepaid Connection — Unwanted Value added service deduction

      I m user of prepaid connecton no [protected] , From my balance amount for valued added service is being deducted, although I have not asked for any facility, You are requested to look in the matter and refund the amount deducted illegally. Other wise I have take Help from Consumer Court , I have also logged a complaint in the coustomer care also.

        Problem occured by service station that they are sending the messages from number 55555.. Last generated bill have 5 massages & charged Rs.15/- (3/- Rs. per sms). Mobile - 1110 NOKIA. Mobile No.[protected].

        So please accept our request and deactivate the message sending process urgently...and restore my detected money.

        Airtel - GPRS service — Sending Nuisance Service messages

        Hi guys,
        I am using Aritel for past 4years and it si pretty good, customer care too.
        But when i activated GPRS (Airtel Live), those guys were sending me 3-4 service messages daily asking me to download this and that. It is also fine (even though with my permission), But i am getting service messages like Sizzling models, Bikini models wall papers, beach babes (with ryming words).. All my office staffs and friends are shouting. They are telling that without my knowledge how can come i got this!! :(.
        I reported twice in AIRTEL and no action!!
        Next level will be logging FIR against AIRTEL!!!

        Nokia — unable to contact airtel in nagpur

        My son is having a friends scheme in Nagpur airtel but iam unable to contact him from my MTNL MOBILE PHONE FROM MUMBAI
        i was taken a duplicate sim of same number beacuse of my previous sim was rejected .now it becomes one monts my new sim is not working at all .i complains about this several times, but there is not taking any action regarding my problem. my no is [protected]

        Reliance & Nokia — Unable To Send Text Message

        I brought 1 new Nokia 6303 Classic.
        Before that i am using Reliance mobile number [protected] & i used to send text message from my number.
        but when i put my this sim card in my new nokia 6303 classic,i am unable to send text message from by number.
        i contacted customer care.they said to change my message center number & i did that.
        but again i am unable to send text message.
        then i updated my nokia software in nokia care.
        again also unable to send message.
        now what can i do?
        i am feeling uneasy.
        please do something.
        I wan on tour to Haridwar from 6 to 13th Dec 2009 and my sim was blocked on 9th
        .

        Why ?

        Pls reply n I hope in near future this will not happen.

        I kindly inform you that I am a postpaid Airtel Customer, phone number 0091-[protected]. My complaint is that I am receiving several SMS per day from 55555. When I talked with one of the Airtel Customer Representative about it, first he asked me what are the contents of the message and I said its not readable, I mean its something like HA5AAA T6AISSS...and go on, give no meaning; then after checking from his side he said from our side (AIRTEL) there is no problem, it looks some other company is sending you, try to solve by talking to the company. Now, apart from 55555 there is no sender's id or 10 digit number. Hence, even I am unable to solve it. This has become a nuisance. I kindly request you to help me to come out of this problem and hence guide me. Thank you for the same.

        I was unable to send the below message from my airtel log in- hence I am sending thru my personal i.d. kindly look into the same and revert at the earliest. My mobile no. is [protected]


        " I have been receiving sms from TD5555 and DM5555 a lot from TD55555 since last month. The message is in Greek and latin wherein we cannot readout anything from it. This was very annoying and called up one of your representative who visits our office, on his suggestion I sent sms to 121 on 07Jan 2011 to check if any service is active on my mobile, I was reverted with a note saying there is no service active on my mobile.

        I checked on internet if any solutions available to stop the same. I found lot of such complaints and many of them wrote that they were charged for the same.



        To my utter surprise after receiving this month's bill even i was charged 24/- for unsent SMSs to 55555.



        I kindly request you all to look into the matter and reverse charges at the earliest.

        Hope this would be taken care and no such charges are levied on my mobile bill."

        I am having Nokia 5230 mobile. I found something called My Nokia under applications in the Menu. I clicked on unsubscribe and got the delivery report as sent to 55555 and received a message from LM-Nokia confirming the unsubscription. I was charged Rs.3 for the unsubscription request. I was also receiving LM, DM messages from this number as well as service messages with SPAM links. Hope this will resolve my problem and help you all resolve the problem. This is not with the provider but its pertaining to your handset.

        I have been receving unknown and anonymous sms's from TD-55555, these sms's have jumbled alphabets and numbers which don't mean anything. I have spoken to Airtel Customer Service and they informed me that no value added service is active on my number.

        The frequency of these sms's is very high and to the tune of 30 - 40 sms's per day. The worst part is that these sms's are chargeable to my account. I would request you to please check this.

        1.I can't reach the customer care @ 198 toll-free number. the recording voice has said that "any assistance pls dial *121# thank you for contacting airtel and the line has been disconnected.Any time that i contact this no.the above reason is always coming.
        2.When i send the sms to any airtel nos.the amount is deducting as 0.50paise and in same time i had send sms to any other network the amount is deducting as 0.10paise per sms in my main account.
        Pls solve the above the problem as quickly. i have expecting you to solve the problem.

          Hi,

          I am Hari, i requested for the connection of Airtel Broadband on Feb -01-2010, after making a payment of 500 rupess towards installation charges, i was asked to pay another 1000 rupees on Feb-10-2010 towards Bachelor Accomodation security deposit. I paid the amount and got the receipt for the 1000 rupess ( Reciept Reference : 09-10/BAL/HYD-CENTRAL ;RF HYD[protected]. Amount is taken by the Airtel Executive, Noor ( [protected] ). After the entire amount is paid, i was said that there is no feasibility for the connection in my area and the order for braodband cannot be completed. I requested for the cancellation and asked for the refund of entire amount.(500+1000). I was promised to recieve a cheque of 1500 with in 15 working days, but i didnot recieve the amount even after 45 working days. I made the complaint again for the refund of the amount on 31st of March (Complaint Number :[protected]. After which i got a cheque for a refund of 500 rupees only. When called the customer care for the remaining 1000 rupees, i got the know that there is no entry created regarding the Security Deposit (Bachelor Security )made, also claims that they are not responsible for the amount of 1000 rupees. Please help me out to get my refund amount back.

            I have an Airtel prepaid connection with number [protected].
            I am subscribing the SMS Pack of Rs.21 from last two month by 777#.

            At present this SMS Pack is active on my number.
            From today 12.04.10 afternoon, charges of 1:50 paise were being deducted per
            SMS i was sending.This fault is frequently & repeatedly happening with me. This is the forth time i m facing this problem.

            I have talked to customer care executives and send mails to the nodal officers, but they are only irritating me by excuses and casual response.

            Why this is happening again and again. Last week i sufffered loss for 4-5 days
            and again this has happened.

            The services of Airtel Technical stall are not enough capable to provide
            good support to your customers.

            I am fed up with their casual response to customers. I want my all money back and a penalty charge to be imposed on the service provider for lots of inconvenience to me and for their casual way to the problems of the customers.

            I am getting Travel tips daily on my number & my balance is getting deducted everyday.

            I have called Customer Care number many times, but i am not getting any response from your side.

            Why is this happening everyday. My balance is getting deducted.

            I am facing this problem from last 1month.

            I am fed up with this.

            Contact me as soon as possible & solve my problem or else i want all my money back.

              I am the customer of aligarh sicne last two years
              15 days before (26th March) i have lost my mobile so i also lost my Airtel connection number.

              My number is [protected] i have lodge the complaint against the loosing cell and number, I want to issue duplicate SIM agianst the [protected].

              I have taken the duplicate SIM from the Centre point Distibuted AitTel office on 10/04/2010, so uptil now SIM not in working mod.
              Now, They are saying me that deatil of this number is not matching with you so the u this number can not be issue you again


              But i am sure i have taken this number form the shop (in aligarh), two years before,

              Lat year also i have lost my mobile and same number, So no mproblem was occur at that time in issuing the duplicate SIM agianst the number same number.

                Air Tel is automatically assigning unwanted application on mob no. [protected]. Such as FnF, Airtel mobile TV, and Airtel picture post. When ever we make a call to Customer Care they said that these services are activated by customer. This is rubbish. Every time we have to pay for that unwanted applications. More over we get such confirmation only when charges is deducted form our account. So many time we mention that we don't any such application. But nothing is changed. Now we have only two option either we change our services provider or file a legal complaint against airtel for automatic update.

                  I have taken a new SIM of Airtel prepaid in month of october,and have submitted all my necessary documents along with it.i.e.passport size,PAN card etc.After 4 months Airtel service provider banned my outgoing call without any prior notification that the necessary documents have not been submitted.Since I am a working lady and inspite of my busy schedule I submitted my documents once again to the nearest airtel Service centre.They assured me that the outgoing call will be strated within 24 hrs.I have submitted my documents on 31st march 2010 but till now my outgoing call have not been started.Inspite of calling them twice a day and telling my problem nothing have been done.I have suffered a lot because of this and this had also affected my clients.Still now my outgoing call have not been started,may i know the reason behind this.

                    I have met with an accident on 26-02-10, and my both hands are broken, i m in bed rest , i m using Airtel [protected] is my no i have a net work problem and ask airtel to rectify it several times and taken a reference no 13 times from them to resolve the problem and i have spoken to their higher management also at 3 levels but still now my problem was no rectified and they are not giving my phone responce also while i dialing to121,198 after reaching the 9 customer care executive option the computer cut my phone saing that sms to 121.

                    i very un happy with their service and their aproach to the sick cusomer who is in bed rest, i am their oldest customer using this no from last 10 years with this nework since i dont have any problem but now they have not solving this problem from last 2 months, the reference no are given below for your reference.

                    This is to inform you that I¿m using a personal Airtel Mobile Postpaid
                    Connection for more than 4-5 years n was quite happy with your service. N as a
                    educated customer I've always made my payments within due date with keeping a
                    satisfactory record for you. But unfortunately n all of a sudden my connection
                    was terminated from yesterday afternoon without any reason, my mobile started
                    showing ¿"sim card registration failed" n stopped working. I¿ve trying
                    restarting my mobile a few times but unable to get it done somehow. Even if I

                      Subject: Extreme harrasment by Airtel for discontinuing my postpaid connection

                      Dear Sir,
                      I have a Airtel postpaid connection for last 2.5 years. As I have travelled out of country, I have given a request to discontinue my Airtel connection on 09-march-2010. My service request number was 31303639.
                      I received numerous calls from Airtel after that and several new requests were taken by Airtel employees. Even after contacting the nodal officer on 22-march-2010 it was not resolved.
                      Some person from Airtel came to my house and collected my photo, voter ID and proof of residence on 27-March-2010.
                      Even after all these, some other person called Jagannath Maity ( number: [protected]) came to my house on 10-April-2010 to collect Rs. 180 as settelment amount and again all my ID proof copies.
                      Currently I am out of India and cannot continue this conversation with Airtel.
                      Can you please take proper action on this so that customers like me doesnot suffer the same harrasment from Airtel employees.

                      respected sir, i mr.mohsin shaikh had been using a prepaid airtel no.[protected]. its been discontinued all of a sudden due to verfication negative.even when al the required documents where submitted.i so want to again start the connection

                      Dear Sir,

                      I am Airtel Prepaid Mobile phone subscriber for the past 8 years.

                      My number has been disconnected by giving a lame excuse of documents not available.
                      Although I had submitted all the documents at the time of purchasing the Airtel SIM card, and again I had re-submitted the documents during 2006 / 2007, as it was demanded by norms of Government of India. Lastly on April 21st 2010 I had been to Airtel Gallery at Sahara Mall, Gurgaon and again was asked to submit my documents and fill up a Airtel Form. Which I have done, still my number is not active.

                      Despite having balance left in my prepaid account & with a proper validity till May 2011, my number has been disconnected. This is a very bad treatment to a loyal Airtel subscriber.
                      It is my earnest request to kindly look into the matter and resolve as soon as possible. I am unnecessarily being harassed over email communication and not being returned my number.

                      Airtel — Discontinuation of Postpaid Number

                      This is to inform you that i was using the Airtel number [protected] till May 2009.

                      As i was leaving the city i payed the total amount due and disconnected the number by informing customer care through phone and again through mail(please refer to mail below).

                      Having received verbal communication that my number has been disconnected i shifted city. However in the last two years my parents have been receiving innumerable calls on the land line from Airtel personnel who have claimed that i have not payed the amount due when on the contrary i had received confirmation from customer care before leaving, but did not receive any reply to my mail.

                      Thereafter it was the regular phenomenon of the self proclaimed Airtel staff members to call and press my parents to pay the due which kept on increasing. My assumption on this issue is that they kept on adding the rental to each month till certain time when they knew very well that the number was not at all being used for over two years. However till this date we have not received any bills and/or any written communication from Airtel from where i can come to the conclusion that some money is payable to Airtel on account o[censored]se of my number.

                      Two or three times during my outstation stay a local boy claiming to be your personnel had come to my home and asked my parents to pay the dues without producing their identity and even the bills for which they claim. I cannot understand what is the process of recovery of Airtel when no proof was provided and/or evidence for claiming the dues was provided to me, which is the legal practice of all organization Also when i was confirmed that my number has been disconnected then how can they go on claiming the so called use?

                      After coming back to Kolkata i have taken a new Airtel number after submitting proper documents thereof. But i am sorry to inform you that within one month i received a call as well as sms that my current number will be disconnected if not the old usage dues as alleged by your self proclaimed personnel is paid. Since yesterday my phone has been disconnected and still now i have not received any written communication in respect of arrear bills payable for my previous number.

                      I absolutely agree to this as i am also facing the very same issue. I left Noida on November 17, 2010 and called the Airtel customer care for disconnection of the number[protected]. They confirmed me that this will be done in next 24 hours. I left the place thereafter and still today i am receiving calls that i have to pay the bill for Dec 2010 and Jan 2011 Months, which is totally ridiculous. The recovery department says that i have to pay the bills anyhow willingly or unwillingly. I don't expect such behavior from a company like Airtel.

                        Airtel is looting us by sending message from 55381 and cutting RS 1/day whether we want or not. Your account balance will be deducted by Rs 1/Day.

                        I did not ask for any news subscription from 55381. I have the internet, and I am happy to use that for getting free news services. Why the hell would I want to get a news message?

                        I have been looking for any reply regarding this foul play that AIRTEL is playing with use OR someone with the help from AIRTEL. And, to my surprise, I did not see any suggestion to unsubscribe/block this.

                        What the hell is going on. Is there any AIRTEL authority loking into this case or not? this is not a problem with one or two individuals. it's a massive problem. If it will not be seen, I am afraid I will have to leave AIRTEL.

                            It is to inform you that the below-mentioned following advisors from the DELHI TECHNICAL HELPDESK 7070 of AIRTEL cold transferred my call to invalid depts or to persons with whom I didnt wanted to talk to .... only,to get rid of me and talked to me in unprofessional,harsh and rude dialects which is appaulling and beyond any expectation from such a reputed organisation like AIRTEL.

                            ********* with serious note,please go through the following below **********

                            I would be priviledged and highly obliged 2 u i[censored] send me a mail back ASAP....and I need strictest disciplinary action taken against the advisor called ASHISH MALHOTRA , the supervisors named Mr. Gaurav Narang,Saqip Khan,Mr. Madhur Dhingra & Mr. Khurram for their integrity issues and behavourial misconduct along with Khurram's Manager named as Mr. Virender Singh who promised me a callback from Khurram but noone bothered to remember...when I called in again the next evening,they informed me that they have forgot and they cannot do anything to help me as I have already intended to send a mail,so there is nothing that they can do now and left me in the dark without any consent from their side,but I was with an escalation call with Virender the last night for almost 1 hour and seeked for urgent courtesy and acknowledgement,then how could he forgot that...moreover , I need to ask to the person who might be reading this mail now,that, is there any rule over there in the organisation that if the customer is blabbering the same help and seeking the same thing,and even if the customer being rude or sarcastic,ARE THEY AUTHORISED TO DISCONNECT OR RELEASE THE CALL? If the customer is foul-mouthing or using any profanity,then only they can do so ...but not on the grounds of being rude or sarcastic,that they can disconnect the call...even if the customer was not giving them the oppurtunity to speak and customer speaking the grievances,they can never ever disconnect the call,but Virender being a manager,straightaway disconnected my call along with Khurram...they didnt have any basic acknowledgement and soft skills how to talk to a customer who is frustrated because of their sole faults...they promised a callback and they both forgot ...moreover when was asked to the advisor to seek Khurram,the advisor was informed by Khurram to say to me,that " INFORM THE CUSTOMER THAT I HAS LEFT FOR THE DAY"...2 sec after another advisor said "KHURRAM HAS GONE FOR A DINNER BREAK"..& in the 3rd call after that,another advisor said to me that "KHURRAM IS BUSY TAKING ANOTHER ESCALATION CALL"......so can you tell me,which one of the 3 scenarios is the right one that I should buy ? Is it the behaviour that I can expect from any supervisor or managers on the floor and are they justified in doing so...moreover,the supervisor ( or the manager may be ) called ARCHNA SINGH & ALIKA MATHUR with her advisors KANIKA & HEENA was very sarcastic and complete sarcasted me in a sing-song tone literally and told me NOT to callback their department because their advisors have some important calls to take rather than encouraging my trivial escalations and later on,didnt let their advisor to pick up my call because she was running out of time to catch her cab...even if I had called at 3 or 4 in the morning,I have the right to call up Customer care or THD to raise my complaint ...few days back in the morning also,I had called up regarding my enquiry to the concerned department and the advisor called Neha & Shivangi from the 7070 dept apparently told me that she is going to arrange a callback for me from her manager but as I knew no reply callback came....moreover the advisor called Kushal & Irfan from the same dept intentionally transferred my call to his supervisor without informing me ...when I was repeatedly saying him not to transfer to any supervisor ...if he could not resolve what I'm saying , that doesn't mean he could directly transfer my call to a person with whom I might not feel comfortable enough ...but his supervisor called Mr. Balwant Singh Dhaliwal conferenced my call with Kushal Chander where Kushal kept on arguing and defending the rightness of what he did...moreover his supervisor silently informed him to leave the conference without my permission just to make Kushal take the other more important Back to Back calls ... when asked for a callback,he said he will again make a callback to me in the afternoon ..bt its more than 24 hours,I waited for a callback.Moreover,the OPs Manager named Mr. Tejbir Singh and Mr. Udit Bothra ( W.B. & Orissa HOD of BHARTI AIRTEL Groups ),Arunabha Mazumdar ( Customer Experience Head ) & Vikram Singh ( NATIONAL ESCALATION TEAM or NET HEAD ) said to me that they cannot callback me by themself for seeking an apology when I asked for an apology from them only,not from him .... even when i mails to this to the nodal officer Moumita and appellate officer Priyanka Debnath and Delhi Appellate Officer Poonam , didnt showed me any empathy,no concern has been taken ... at least I never got any mail or callback.Its absolutely a rubbish Customer Care.Don't know,how they got the Platinum.It should be seized from them.I m working for a ISP also as a manager,but I never face anyone in my department behaving like these with their customers......Its absolutely appaulling whatever I had faced....may I know,that whatever MENTAL ABUSE I faced and written above,is it trivial for you or not ??? so , except seeking fake apology, can anyone tell me what I need to do right at this moment,because I need a justice.Will be appreciated if strictest disciplinary action can be taken against them , as these people with negative attitude and vanity,should not be encouraged with such a big company's name & jeopardising its reputation .

                            I called up the BIHAR-JHARKAND COMPLAINTS DEPT and the Manager RENU SINGH made the call taken by a guy under her name and later disconnected my callt wice when I asked him to escalate and investigate this issue.

                            I NEED A COMPOSED MAIL regarding the compensation against this MAAN_HAANi ( violating a customer's modesty like this )

                            BECAUSE I RESPECT MY SELF-DIGNITY EVEN MORE THAN MY PARENTS ... & I'M NOT GOING TO SPARE THEM ....

                            Except sending a template apology statements from the EMAIL Desk / Team,I need a courtesy call BY them ONLY who had failed to give me the respect and the promised callback and I need a mail regarding the consequences of my humiliation.Otherwise,I would take it to a further level.

                            I am also working Technical Helpdesk for an ISP.Just wanted to confirm what exactly did u call about.Because all through your experience all you have written is about people being rude and sarcastic with you.My 10 year experience says that an advisor or Supervisor would not be rude with a Customer just like that.There has to be a reason for the Advisor or Supervisor to be rude or sarcastic with you.You said that you are a Manager in a ISP so you should understand the pysche that a person (or in case it seems a lot of people) would not try to be rude or sarcastic to a customer until a customer becomes rude or sarcastic to them.Throughout your complaint you have nowhere written what u called about which leaves me puzzled. Being a Customer (Also a Manager in an ISP) you should realise that this doesnt make you eligible for wanting the world. Next you may demand a FERRARI to be given to you but pls understand that doesnt mean that the Company would provide you with one.

                            I have applied for new airtel broadband connection on 15-Nov-2010 with form number- 2484923. The air-tel executive (Naveen Tiwari, mobile number: [protected]) collected my documents on 15-Nov-2010 stating that the connection is feasible at my residence and would be installed in nxxt 3 days. However it was not installed till date and when I called up Naveen he started refusing my calls the I contacted airtel call center and they said that connection is not feasible and the amount would be refunded in next 21 days. I haven't received any refund from airtel till now. It's a very disappointing and mental harassing activity from airtel atleast airtel should inform about the feasibility before collecting documents and cash from me. All airtel executives are very irresponsible about their work and nobody cares about their customers. Ashamed job from a very well stable brand !!!.

                            Similar incident happens again on 18-Dec-2010 when I put the airtel broadband requirement on airtel's website. Again the same story. Executive collected the documents and a cheque of Rs. 500 in favour of Bharti airtel on 18-Dec-2010. I told my previous story to executive and again he committed that this time I'll definitely get the connection. This time Executive name Prakash his mobile number: [protected] and form number: 2572160.
                            Again he is not picking my calls now and no response from airtel call center they always say that it will be installed tomorrow there there is no tomorrow for airtel guys. Again no concern with customer as cheque has already been cleared.

                            THUMBS DOWN to AIRTEL and SHAME TO THE POWER INFINITY.

                            If you felt that your issue was not looked into, then there were ways to escallate the issue. I am sure that you are aware that there is an escallation matrix and the appropriate thing to do would be to escallate the issue so that the higher ups in Airtel is aware of the difficulties and hard ships that you are facing from the customer sare reps and their respective supervisors.

                            What I fail to understand is that if you felt that you were being miss traeted and miss guided and the call was not professional then why call back? even if the agents, supervisors and their supervisors arn't able to assist you then why not escallate the case further. Definately by calling back and forth will not resolve the issue and will lead to more anger and frustration.

                            With the coming of MNP, if I were you, then I would have definately ported out rather than staying with a service provider that does not resolve my grevience.
                            I had purchased a airtel prepaid sim mb. no. [protected] from shakti comm. kamla nagar Agra on dated 6th Dec.12, but that sim has not been activacted till now, I have complaint many times to dealer and airtel helpdesk but nothing responce to them.

                              This is to inform you regarding a very strange behaviour which has been happening in the IIT Campus since the past few months.

                              (a) Mobile screen shows SIM Card update started every now and then. I asked some of the people around me and they also said the same thing. I am wondering if AIRTEL is tapping my phone and barging in to my privacy.

                              (b) My family members live in South India (Tamil Nadu). It is very strange that my family members are able to make a call at my phone, but when I call them a voice at Airtel says (the machine response) "The telephone number does not exist". Well! The response of a super intelligent Airtel official would be "Prefix a zero". I checked, double checked and triple checked, with and without fixing a zero and the same response is obtained. Naturally enough the problem is with UP East because the message is in Hindi and English. TN airtel gives the error message in Tamil and English.

                              (c) One can never get through the complaint registration system of Airtel UP. Perharps there is nobody sitting at the portal. Everybody is too busy goofing up the public's money and giving service unworthy of value.

                              So please, our super intelligent horsey mouths of Airtel, maybe you could tighten up the losers sitting in cosy ACs and doing nothing at the UP Airtel office.

                              Dear Airtel,

                              I understand that the response that you gave is one of the most customary and therefore horrendous. The complaint was to draw the attention of Airtel officials to a problem of the system rather than the individual one.

                              Next time, when you respond, also indicate the language which you understand the best. In that way the communication would be more fruitful. We are probably not even tired of recruiting people who cannot even understand a word of the complaint.

                                I am from Perungudi area, Chennai.

                                Trusting Airtel, I took 2 mobile connections and Broadband connection from Airtel. I have never been an Airtel fan, but heard good about them and thought I will try it out. Turned out to be one of the worst decisions in my life.

                                Let us start with Broadband problems. Though the salesman said connection will be given in 2 days, after numerous calls and literally begging for the connection they did the mercy on the 10th day. They seem to have some kind of SLA that binds them to give connection within 10 days. Since "they" had to give the connection on that day, they didn't bother to use the available internal wiring to provide the connection. I agreed for external wiring after they promised me that they will do the internal wiring next day. Those people never turned up after that.
                                The wiring is of very low standard, and they pulled the cable from 2 blocks away on top of the terrace along with all the electrical and cable TV cables, taking it into my house through a window. I got the connection in June 2009. Today is 10-April-2010.
                                From the very next week onwards, I am facing frequent disconnections. The internet will drop off every now and then, without any noticeable pattern. The modem link will go down and come back again. After many complaints and many many "technicians" visits, they decided to change the modem. After this it was OK for about a week and the problem started again. Again started calling them, shouting, begging, falling on their feet to spare me the pain.. no result till now. They will take the complaint and agree to "update" us. Apparently, the call center people can only take complaints and update it. Someone else actually works on the complaint. When I want to talk to the Manager, he is busy on other calls. May be all the customers are having "Frequent disconnection" problem :-p
                                In between one day when the connection seemed somewhat stable, I decided to download a couple of files each around 1 GB. Activated Speed on Demand and started downloading. After about 3-4 hours on 2mbps, the connection was lost and the download was broken. This was a website that detected download manager softwares and blocked them. So had to download directly using IE. I immediately called Airtel and told them the story, again to hear the same lines... we will take the complaint sirrrr... :-p... I asked them "What about the money I lost because of SOD?" .. no answer.. and the bill came including the SOD amount. Very prompt on that.

                                Coming to the Mobile, the worst problem is when some calls, or even when I call between my numbers, I get to hear that "The number does not exist" message. :)
                                Network is so congested that during the evening times you can forget making STD calls. When I am in a crowded place like Spencer plaza, I can never be contacted on my Airtel phone. "The number does not exist" message. Another problem is similar to the broadband, the connection shamelessly drops off.

                                Till today the problems are unresolved.. and I am still waiting like a fool hoping that some miracle will happen and a day will come when I will get value for the money I am paying to Airtel. The worst problem is that there is literally no escalation mechanism. I could only call the customer "care" number. And they are authorised only to take complaints...

                                executative response are very bad and doesnt know the right informatiion, one
                                of your executive irresponse iam facing the problem .i wish to change plan from
                                my current plan, so i choosen fastest Turbo 75 GB-Airtel/tn/fl16 plan and i
                                given request for plan changes to airtel customer care, on the same day i
                                seeen turbo 150GB plan so i little bit confused for which plan is suitable for
                                me . at that time i get cal from rajeswari airtel migration department for
                                conformation cal, i said give 4days time let u know later about which plan i
                                need, she said we cant wait for four days automatical ur new plan request will
                                b canceled, i said ok i wil give again request after choosen plan later, after
                                chossen my new plan i given request to customer care, he take request, again
                                i get cal from chadran migration department, he said ur plan wil generate
                                from jully, bcoz of less days processing we cant change your new plan this
                                month, he said atleast minimum 5days b4 want to give request for plan changes, i had talked lot of time to customer care but no one said about, minimum
                                5days need to change plan, even rajeswari spoken me from migration department, she said about we cant wait 4days automatical plan wil b cancel, only she
                                said like this, she not at informed at that time that 5days required minimum
                                for plan change, if she say abt this information to me means, i wont ask that
                                four days time, strictly i wil say for plan change conformation, after spoken
                                to chndran from migration department only came to know abt 5days required for
                                plan changes, now i hope u can understand about my situvation, for your
                                executative irresponse, i want to wait another one month, sir i need that
                                4mbps plan compulsory this month june 17th on wards,

                                plese understand my situvation and arrange my new plan offer from this month
                                17th of june .

                                  This is my complaint againt the airtel bharti the cellulare this company is nothing but full of cheat people this company has no regards of the customer and what all services the company is giving to the customer.
                                  This are my complaints towards the company and the service provider :
                                  1: my calls were being transfered or forward with out my concent to another no. this was an illegal offence of the compant for which i have decided to do a case againt the company in the consumer court.
                                  even after complaing about it i got a call from the delhi corporate office and thak greek person did nothjing but just v r looking forward to solve your complaint and i have not yet received and solution to my complaint as yet.
                                  2:This is my complaint againt the mobile office section of the airtel prepaid section i got my
                                  MOactivated on 13 feb on the account of which i ws charged 98 Rs and then ws able to use the internet after receiving the msg that internet is active on your no. and them as soon as i used the service i was being harged the amount of 30p/50kb and this plan was not that i demanded of and because of which i lost 30 Rs from my account.the after a month as my net continued and i was using the same service it got the renewl msag on 12 of mar and to which i recharged my account on the same day and my balance was deducted the same on 13th mar to which till this date i am being given these fake assurence that sir your money would be refunded bla 2.the customer care service is also chargeble at the rate of 50p now so Mr bharti is just enjoyinmg the money of the consumer and not looking in the services that should be taking care of.
                                  after so many complaints about the same for 15 days and burning my money like paper on the customer care service i came to solution to lauge a complaint in the tele communication department of india and to the brand abassader of the company about the cheating and fake behaviour of the company to the customers.
                                  kindly refund my money pls refund in 24 hours.

                                    I have tried to make calls from my Airtel Pre-paid Mobile No [protected]. The outgoing as well as incoming calls automatically gets dropped after 10 seconds. I have cheked with other Airtel subscribers, they have confirmed to have been facing similar problems since[protected]. Due to this the conversation is interrupted and if we try to call again we keep on facing line dropping problems again and again. Each time we call the balance gets reduced even though the conversation has just initiated. I feel Airtel should refund fully the debited call charges forthwith, because either there is a Network failure at their end or else it is due to some ulterior motive to recover extra revenue from the prepaid customers.

                                    I appeal you please take up the matter with Airtel Nodal Officers, Mumbai or the Appropriate Authority and resolve the problem at the earliest

                                        SIM CARD — problems in outgoing

                                        I took a vodafone sim card from vodafone store at Mahindra City, Chennai. After some days between 8PM till morning 8 A.M. a outgoing problem started. Whenever I try to make a call a voice in tamil says something about application form and id proof. I complained at vodafone store 3 times but they said your all documents are OK, from today onwards you will not have problems. Even I resubmitted my proofs but nothing happend and I am still having the problem.
                                        Also a caller tune has been activated without I doing anything.

                                        Please help me.

                                        Airtel Pre Paid Card — Deduction of Rs. 3 on Unsolicited message on Airtel Prepaid

                                        Hello,

                                        On my mother's Airtel number [protected], we have continually been getting unsolicited Thought of the Day messages from the number 290603.

                                        Each time we receive this message, Rs. 3 gets deducted from our account balance. We have NOT subscribed to this service. On calling customer service, they were extremely unhelpful and said she has no record of such images and could not stop it.

                                        Please find attached the screenshots of a few of the messages received.

                                        It is my request to a senior official from Airtel to stop these messages and this obviously rampant abuse of public trust.

                                        I am prepaid card holder Mobile no.[protected]. Since three days i am persisting with a problem i.e. M chek message from Airtel and without accessing this message Rs.15/- deducted from my account. All the time while attending any call, making any call and accesscing with handset, automatically phone is disconnect and every time m chek message displaying on the screen. I am neither able to contract any body nor make any call. to switch off the phone I have to remove the battery otherwise whole the night the same message is repeating. please help me out and solve my problem immediately.
