i have given my nokia phone 4 times to the nokia care center in secunderabad, opposite chermas.model no is 7610s its icno is;661u-rm-354 which is under warranty and its fcc id is ppirm-354.The problem is oftenly the display is showing sim card registration failed!but the people in nokia care center is taking the phone and putting it for 10 to 15 days and returning without any repair.I dont expect this service from nokia.it might adversly effect your model 7610s by the talk in people.Your people are trying to prolong the issue till the warrenty is expired . i request you suggest me a solution.

I have a Nokia 7610s bought 4 months ago. Three days ago while I was charging it overnight I found it dead unable to switch it on. The battery and IC are ok according to my colleague. What do you think the problem is it? would you please suggest me what to do with it because I fear to take it to mobile maintenance shops here in my town due to their mischief nature.

I posted the above comment 3 days ago but got no solution to my Nokia 7610s till now from the website. But I went to one of the mobile maintenace shops in the town and have showed the dead Nokia 7610s and the technician said that Battery & Ic are ok and he suggested that software shlould be loaded and he requested more money for the service.Is it possible please to download software for my apparatus for free?

Yes, the Mobi Quest care center is really horrible. He damaged my phone and sent it to me saying it can not be repaired. I had to file a complaint at the Nokia. Hoping that something will happen.
Nokia — Mischief by the Nokia Care Center
I have X-3 mobile, which I purchased in July'10. last week when it was not starting, I shown it to Two different Authorized Nokia Care Centers in Ghaziabad and even the handset was under warranty period, they asked money to repair it. I brought it back. When I shown it to my friends shop, he said that the Original speakers and Original Battery of my mobile has been changed. I email it to Nokia, but No responce.People should not buy Nokia products
