Since I bought the same handset on 14th Feb 09 and i realised their are many such problems apart from audio, video, etc
And top of it when I took this handset at Nokia outlet @ Sakinaka Junction Andheri East Mumbai ie. digital Service solution they didnt only tried to repair but they permenantly made it off and now this mobile is totally off

Even i am one of the users of the same handset.. within just one month, I started facing the regular hang up problem in it, and also noticed a little dot inside the display screen.. Even sometimes the display paved a problem for me, whenever I received a call.. I approached my vendor for the same but was told to take it to nokia care center- Durga Communications, Kingsway Camp, New Delhi. They gave me a four days time, when i approached them after 4 days, they asked me to come within the next four days as the problem got so immense that there was a need to send the handset to the head office. Now i really fear that my handset might face some kind of same problem too as you people are facing with yours. Nokia has a brand name but for what?? Just publicity or is there any service also...

Look guys, the problem is that you have a Symbian phone, and you caught (read installed) a DIALER, it's a form of malweare, but not quite a virus. some (probably all) of the numbers your phones dial are Hotline IVRs, your mobile operators don't have anything to do with it, the problem is with your phones, get them to a regular service, that will solve the problem genetraly, and be carefull what you install/recieve via MMS, bluetooth, widgets etc... Your operators regularly charge the intrernational calls made, the best thing you can do is that you contact them and ask'em why they don't barr all calls from their network towards those specific numbers, cause it's what serious mobile operators do.

I also went thru the same n i changed my access codes n alws kept my nokia 5320 locked when not in use.untill now this is my temporary solution.but tell me whenever that happens ur phone's keypad was locked or not?also did u see with ur eyes when those calls were made?

for the moment, i've cut international calls..i'm in war with my operator..
nothing is installed in my N95, only Kaspersky, and Mcleaner, official ones...no widgets..
i never use bluetooth, i never answer a number i don't know...i've done a hard reset a month ago..

I have faced the same problem on 23rd Apr.09 in between 11.00PM to 5.40AM. I am having Nokia N73 and service provider is Idea. I reside at Indore, MP., India. Nos. automatically dialled and charged are same as are in above mentioned complaints of others. Contacted service provider Idea but they refuse to lodge complaint and they told the same is not possible. It seems some racket is going on and we all are paying heavily due to it. Nokia 5610 — Screen blanks out.

The screen of my Nokia 5610 blanks out. I was suggested to format the memory card. I did that, but the problem still persists. Please suggest as to what should I do now.

I am facing the same issue. Its been twice that the phone has crashed, it keeps on restarting twice every hour and finally its the time of the 3rd visit in 1 yr. last time Nokia researched on this phone for 1 month and it still didn't run for a month.

nokia 5610 xpres muzic — no satisfaction of service

I submitted my mobile to the Nokia care center at Raj nagar, RDC, Ghaziabad(up), due to some malfunctioning in its display but even after a span of 9 days there was no action taken and i was returned and now the mobile is not at all displaying which it was doing later.

Nokia 6030 — Battery Bulge

Recently my abttery is getting bulged and the back cover has developed a full lenghth crack. What should I do. My set hardly 2 years old.

I'm facing the same problem, the surface of the battery is bulged, so the cover cannot be closed tighly, this happen because the battery life span is going to end, My battery is not keeping charges, when i charged it, the phone will diplays battery full, when i remove the charger, it will saya battery low and willl turn off

My samsung J 600 have similar problems. It had a display problem and it needs to be fixed so I didnt charge it for a long time. Now I see it's battery is bulged. I don't know why. I had given the phoen for repair once but I got the phone back in a bad condition as like full of scratches and also scratches on battery. I had written down the code of batery before I gave it for repair and so it hasn't been changed by them. But I don't quite understand the bulging part. I am sorry for posting this here but I couldn't find a complaint for Samsung to post this on and I didn't wanted to start a complaint thread for it.

Dear Tarun, you have to set the Time Zone to GMT +5.30 as per IST in the DATE & TIME Settings of the handset.

Earlier I too have the same problem. But after setting the Time Zone to Indian Standard Time GMT +5.30, my problem has been resolved.

Don't know how these silly things are not known to Nokia Customer Care people.

Anyways, you just do the above step and your problem will be vanished for sure.

firstly...i was from Malaysia that my GMT where + 8.00 since we were follow the Kuala Lumpur, Singapore timing...

open setting...go to date andtime setting..make sure the time according your country ..the am and pm also right, go to GMT and (make home work by cliking the time show in your computer/lap top and so on..look over the country GMT...all computer got its especially Windows(xp, vista and older than that)

then go to daylight saving and choose + 0.

nokia 3120 classic — Msg.recig time not show correctly

I have purchased Nokia 3120classic cell phone in the month of JULY 2009,but INBOX msg NOT shown correct receiving time ( For Example todaydtd 8-9-09 time 8:07:19 AM launch a complaint to BSNL Customer Care . and I got Message (Inbox) for docket number for complaint booked at BSNL Call Center on 8-9-09 at 8:18:09.AM.
But message details shown the receiving time is 05:16:20 am 08-9-09.How it is possible. Please rectified this problem.

I just bought this phone last night and could already see how poor the battery backup is. Its too bad, according to all the reviews and spec sheets, it says 6 hrs of talk time, I have used it for hardly 1 hour and its much less than half the battery left now. Songs always restart when I play a metal or hard rock song (especially when guitar parts starts) and listen through my headset. There is nothing wrong with the song, it plays well in the PC, and through the loudspeaker. I tried changing a few settings but it didnt improve Help WANTED

Nokia 5130 — Charged extra amount-despite warranty existing

Dear Sir
My nokia 5130 set had developed a problem and the LCD kept glowing.This was a software problem and nokia care just needed to relaod the software ,for which they charged me RS 450. This should have been done for free as the warranty was still there.They claimed that there were traces of water inside so I had to pay that amount.
Please help.

charged ur cell until it says battery is full
remove battery for 20 minutes
charge to full again
remove for 20 mins
charge again to full..

If anyone has tested this and it really works, I would love to see your comments.

my phone blinks white when i try to switch t on. this effect mekes it not to boot. before that my music player refused to function and when i try to pla music it say's "not enough memory" while there is plenty of 25 MB phine memory left in.

you are right bro, i have also same problem with this phone, it plays songs fine upto volume level of 7 but beyond it the song changes automatically and also sound becomes unclear ...
i think the headset is fine because when i used it in my computer to listen song it works well at high volume level...

I lost my cell phone NOKIA 5130 in the month of december and so did i dorge a complaint in the police station and in written to the insurance co. as a procedure given up by SANGEETA but since 5 months i've just been running around for a justice towards me and my lost cell.
SANGEETA promises to pay back or refund the amount for the cell lost, i've lost a cell in the month of december though i'd paid a sum of 300.Rs extra for the insurance made on the cell. There is no proper response from their side. They blame on the insurance co. naming FUTURE GANERALEE but have we gotta do with it, we trusted SANGEETA and not the insurance co. They just keep playing the fool around blaming each one or their post which they aren't capable to handle and also the price varies a lot from the market rate say about 400- 700.Rs more. Ridiculous service and irresponsible about the whole matter... "SANGEETA is loosing their customers and their trust on them"
