OF 6, CHINTAMONY DEY ROAD, OPP.MAIDAN MARKET HOWRAH 0N 27.10.2008 BEARING INVOICE NO.WB/020020/00001/4170 VAT NO.[protected]-V DT. 19.07.2006, CSTNO.[protected]-C DT. 19.07.2006 ST/MUMBAI/BAS/DIVLL/6062/06 SERVICE CODE AAFE1386KST001.

But the above set is become drastically slow since a few days due to some unknown problem and I went to your Nokia Service centre which is located at Deshpran Sashmal Road Howrah-711101 for the necessary action but I astonished when they searched from net and told me that this set is not at all cover any warranty which is very much pathetic to me also I was informed that the expiry date of the said f warranty is on 19.12.2008. I do not know how is it possible that the warranty for a hand set is expired on 19.12.08 which is purchased 2 months back on 27.08.08. and they also told me that it is an used set sold by the above mentioned retail company.

NOW MY DECISION IS NOT TO HAND OVER THE SET TO ANY BODY AS I AM SUSPECTING THIS AN USED SET AND ANY SERVICE CENTRE CAN MAKE ME FULL AFTE REPAIRING AND GIVE A UNWILLING SATISFACTION FROM ME TO CLOSE THE CHAPTER TEMPORARYLY
SO Please replace the set at earliest.

But the above set is become drastically slow since a few days due to some virus affection and I went to your Nokia Service centre which is located at Deshpran Sashmal Road Howrah-711101 for the necessary action but I astonished when they searched from net and told me that this set is not at all cover under warranty which is very much pathetic to me that the end of warranty is on 19.12.2008. I do not know how is it possible that the warranty is going end by 19.12.08.if I purchase the same on 27.08.09. and they also told me that this is a used set sold by the above mentioned retail company.

      Hi,

      I am a Bigtime Music lover and i already own a Nokia 5310 xpress music and it has a great sound when it comes to listen thru a 3.5mm audio Headphones (any). As i got to know that nokia has just launched a Great answer to iphone and thatz our 5800 XpressMusic device, i really got thrilled. I investd my hard money of around 20, 000 to own the device but guys beleive me, the sound of the device especilally when u insert any normal headphones to hear is aweful and terribly unjustified...for several days i have been thinking that there's something wrong with software options and i might just need to do some settings but after 7 days of owning the device, i discovered that there is this Manufacturing Fault from nokia regarding the well proclaimed Audio Chip... nokia has not even tested the devices before spreading them to consumers and thatz a shameful act done by so much well known, goodwill keeping Brand Name.

      I m planning to take it to nearest Nokia Care but my hope is actually not regarding a repair, infact an exchange, if possible!!!

      I[censored] have a device manufactured in the end of january, then please get some answers from ur Closest NOKIA CARE guy!

      i hav also nokia 5800 but i hav no complaint about nokia. music is perfect, camera is gud, but wht u told tha i[censored] use any other headphone then its not up to the mark bec ur headph. volume is up to thre. i read
      one more comp. that screan is broken at the time of touch i[censored] press them reather touch the it hav to break ok. but i[censored] fell that volume it less so go to ur nearst care

        Dear Sir,
        I gave my nokia 2760 for repair as it was not starting, at nokia care Mr finoz BN Verma Road Aminbad Lucknow . they repair after 45, days. when i came home found that it had network problem created from nokia care side.i again gave it to repair. That time Miss archana told me that is chargable when that this set is in warranty. Which that I talk yo
        Mr Finoz so he tell me that you can drop for 15th days I am sending noida and after that I can says that is chargable or not so please tell me within one year 2 month also drop set in your service center and who is responsible for warranty .

        1. Network problem
        Earlier these problems were not there when i gave it for repair(it was not starting).
        i have complain the manager of nokia care also i mailed nokia website but no response from them.
        i am harrassed by their poor service as when i gave cell for repair(itwas not starting) they upgraded software but in return the above 4 problems they created & i had to go there 6 times, my time & money is wasted &also my cell is not in goo d working condition.please help me for the same

        there's one more problem i found with this model(nokia2760). some programs like bing just can't b run on this set. shows java/lang/outofmemory error though it has 10 mb of internal memory free. can anyone please suggest a solution for this one?

        BSNL has provided television pro gramms through mobile phones to their customers with gprs facility.But though GPRS is activated in my nokia2760 i am not able to view TV programms.Please let me know which are the models that are provided with this facility.

            my nokia 1650 handset has some problem whenver i choose my ringtone my phne restart and asking the security code why? it's all happend is there any solution that my nokia 1650 ? these my second time whn 1st i visit nokia care that told me now it will be fine, it will be ok now it will be fine thn after few months it;s all happen ?

            i hve two simcard i will inserting everytime in my mobile that is why the my handset has such problem?

            nokia1650 — not repair phone under warranty

            I purchased my Nokia 1650 from a an authorised dealer(Gupta communication) at kaithal, haryana on 09/05/09 buts next day it was not working properly. They give me estimate time ten days for its repairing but i have not received my phone yet today. I also visit to nokia care center for this problem but behave of staff member was not cooprating and dissatisfied.Sir i am facing very problem without my phone. they are not reparing my phone and telling for coming next-next day, you are requested to take quick action for solve my problem.You might have come across such problems.If Nokia care is reading this, please reply to this on mob.             nokia1650 — Ringtone not working

            Am Dheeraj and i have a nokia1650 mobile i got changed my sim and when it's switched on it's asking the security code and i am added the default coode12345 and it's became ok, the actual complaint is the ring tone is not working when we select the volume mobile, automatically became off and then switching on.pls tell me what's the solution.

                Hi... My self Anamika.I have bought one Nokia 5800 mobile from global access(Kormangala).
                I didnt work even for 5 days once I have called their office they said it may be the network problem..then I waited for some more days but it was still given the problem so I again went and this time they said all the Mobile of this model came in Jan was having this fault... When they know that its a manufacturing falt and it was there even when I bought it... Should not they replace it...Once they sold any product they dont have any responsibility about their customers.Just they got the money and their job is done...
                you are right in today's market all brands are targetting to sell their product & when any problem comes they deny for replacement saying either it is not cover under warranty or it is ur mistake.
                so, you do one thing.please contact nokia care, nokia care people help you, if your mobile is under warrenty...

                      It suddenly hangs, gets switched off
                      The most disgusting thing it is damn slow and any missed call or message to check it opens only after 12-15 seconds

I'm very disturbed as i'm a businessman and loosing my time and concentration because of my cellphone problem. I went to the customer care center on[protected] to M/s.                         Dear Sir,

                        This is Namita Singh, Regional Head Retail Operations, heading entire north india with Royal Sundaram General Insurance, Gurgaon.

                        I had purchased a nokia 6220 on 26.10.08 from "The mobile Store" sector 14, gurgaon.Within almost 20 days i had developed a problem in the handset wherein i couldnt use the Camera..

                        When i took the handset for servicing at Varun Enterprise Shakarpur, Mother dairy road, Delhi 92, i was told that it would take 15 days of time to get it rectified after inspecting the mobile. (JOB CARD NO :ASC[protected]

                        To all my surprise and utter dismay i had received an sms yeserday saying that the seal is already broken hence the mobile cant be serviced !! While the fact remains that i have not given my handset to any other servicing centre why is this cold response???!!!

                        I need my handset to be serviced with Nokia care and i am willing to get carried away by the flimsy excuse given by services.

                        Iam heading services division for my company and i assume that Nokia understands the importance of customer services as i do and expect to respond to the complaint in a much more positive and professional approach..

                        Looking forward for a hassle free service else i would be forced to take other appropriate actions against the faulty people and institution concerned..

                          I bought Nokia 5140i phone of Nokia last year. Now Body / Panel of the phone has broken and i am liooking for new panel for same but it is not available with Nokia. I have almost visited all the service centre of Nokia. When I wrote mail to Nokia they have shown inability saying that product has been discontinued and it will be difficult to ge the panel. Here My submission is that when company like Nokia sells it's product and consumer who buys expects good after sales service whether product is runing or discontinued.                           Nokia Mobile — bad service

                          I got a new Nokia N97 mini on 16-Aug 2010for Rs.19,053/-. I have a warranty of 1 year on it.
                          On 6-Nov 2010 i gave my phone for software updation on NOKIA CARE. On receiving the phone i encountered many problems. The Nokia care person uploaded a different software, because of which many applications were not functioning properly. And the key pad is coming out.
                          I got that phone for office purpose with my first salary and wanted to last it for long. But because of the bad service it is no longer a good handset.
                          I went back to him asking for bringing the phone back to proper condition. He changed the software but the keypad is not set right. on asking them to fix it, i get to hear that "For this keypad we cant do anything, it must have fallen while repairing thats why it is coming out." The phone has a slide screen which has also been tightened.
                          I dont know what to do now. I want the Nokia to replace my handset. It has been just 4 months and the phone looks very old because of their carelessness. The Nokia Care refused to give a memo for the service provided, and they are not taking the responsibility of what they have done to the phone.

                            My handset Nokia N81 had a Camera Problem which is in warranty period. So i submitted my handset in Saivision Mobilink Kolhapur which is Nokia Care Centre at Kolhapur (Maharashtra-India) on 12th Feb 2009. They committed me that we will give your handset within 15 days. On 25th Feb or 26th Feb I got massage from Nokia "YOUR HANDSET IS REPAIRED PLEASE COLLECT YOUR HANDSET. FROM SAIVISION, TAKALA, KOLHAPUR.” Then i went that Centre and received my handset. Now My Camera is functioning. But there is One big Crack on the Screen which was not on the Handset before submitting the Handset in Nokia Care Centre. It is clear that the handset is damaged Bcoz of careless handling of Nokia care centre emp. I told that ASC eng abt crack. And they agree that the handset had no crack on screen at the time of submitting that handset to them.
                            Now it’s 21st March 2009. I don't receive my Handset yet. I Request you to take an action as early as possible.

                              Nokia 5310 x press music — System restart automatically

                              While the talk or on stand by instrument is getting restarted.If it is while talk the phone is getting disconnected.

                              This problem is normal with all nokia express music phones, and it is always fixed by updating to a new version of software, this is new model and in a 2-3 months it will be updated.Same thing happens with:5310, 5800, 5220.So dont worry, it will be fixed.And btw, this phone can have 16gb of memory without a problem, not like nokia said only 2gb.Sorry for bad english :)

                              I found a software in rapidshare that converts sis to jar & its really working also if someone gprs settings then take following steps: 1)firstly find a phone of nokia that support gprs now insert ur sim in it now send a message to ur network provider foreg:in aircel we send PI TO 121. 2)now immediately switch off the phone & after 1min insert it in ur 5130 then u will get confirmination messages & settings now save these& goto settings>configuration settings>set aircel as default settings & activate default in all applications

                              The main reason for this line" memory card is in use by another application" appears when there is a virus so its better to try using pc suite. Clean ur system from virus and try accessing again. If this doesnt work then go to pc suite.

                                Nokia/Handset E-71 — Defective handset

                                I Sulekha Kaul, advocate by profession and resident of 3/27, 3rd Floor, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi 110008 had very recently on 30th July 2008 purchased Nokia Handset E- 71, from Mobile Store, 23/4 East Patel Nagar under the invoice no. DEL/ 01171/00001/6298.

                                Through this letter I would like to lodge a complaint about defective handset sold to me which showed defects from the date of the purchase itself. Some of the keys of the handset are not functioning and as a result I can neither make phone calls nor can I send messages. It seems that the handset was defective from the very beginning and this manufacturing defect became obvious on putting the handset to use. Initially, the keys on the handset would work intermittently, however, with passage of time they have become completely non functional.

                                I had approached Mobile Store with my grievance, however, they advised me to contact the Service Centre at West Patel Nagar, Near Shadipur Metro Station. As advised, I had promptly taken my Handset to the service centre, however, to my utter shock and dismay, they not only refuse to entertain my grievance but also did not replace my handset. On the contrary, they advised me that since it is a new handset, they would not open it and directed me to approach the head office of the Company.

                                More than two months have gone by and after having bought such an expensive hand set, I have not been able to use it .

                                Being an Advocate by profession, I have to make numerous calls to my clients and associates. Being in this profession for more than 14 years, with time I have through sheer hardwork and dedication built an extensive practice and client base which depends and relies on me. For me, my mobile is my lifeline and with this defective handset, I am suffering not only financial loss but also mental agony.

                                You would appreciate that in today’s time a mobile phone is not a luxury but a necessity. The reason for buying this handset was primarily to facilitate my profession and to make use of the additional features such as internet and email facilities, however, it is very baffling to know that Nokia which is one of the leading manufactures of mobile handsets have shown such callous disregard to its customers. Almost two months have gone by and there has been no redressal to my grievance. Not only my work has suffered on account of defective handset but it has also caused a lot of anxiety and apprehension due to such indifferent attitude of your Company.

                                I have invested my hard earned money in purchasing such an expensive handset and as a customer it is my right to demand value for money. It is very unfortunate that your Company has failed me on both accounts. It seems that a defective handset has been sold to me and to my utter dismay, there is no redressal till date.

                                Through this letter, I request you to kindly replace my handset with a new one which functions properly and to my satisfaction. Even, otherwise, since I am under the warranty period, I would appreciate that my handset is replaced with a new one at the earliest.

                                Looking forward to hearing from you in this regard and hoping redressal to my grievance on an urgent basis and within a weeks time.

                                Nokia — Defects on N71

                                To whom who may concern:

                                I am the managing Director of an IT Company based in Pune, India and I have a big complaint to make. The facts: I have bought a nokia N71 from a store" CROMA" in Aundh, Pune and the mobile has shown difect after use of 3 days. I have asked to the shop to exchange the mobile, but the poeple there are not professional so, nothing has been resolved. I still have confusion on their Policy. some of the staff says replacement in 24hr from the purchase, some other says not replacement. Also i came to know that Nokia usually gives 7 days from purchase a replacement if the mobile is defected. I kindly request to gime an help and support on this regard, as I am surpriced that a company like NOKIA, is allowing this kind of distributors to ruin the name and brand which has built up till now. This kind of distributors should be selected based on real proof of dedicated customer service and not just because they have name.

                                I am using Nokia handset E-71 which I had purchased from K-3, TRADING PVT. LTD G-8, Savitri Market, Sector-18, Noida

                                I was able to use this handset properly just for 4 month later started facing problems in few Keys of Key pad like -
                                Back Key,
                                Call End Key (red button),

                                My approach to Nokia care

                                 I approached to Nokia Care center at Vaishali Sec-4, Ghaziabad on 31st May 09, and addressed them the issue. Front desk executive Shalini attended my call and told me that there is a software issue, and need to Format the software and problem will be resolved and did the same. Gave me the job sheet with number-

                                JOB SHEET NUMBER[protected]/090531/32

                                At the time of collecting the handset key were working fine but just after few hours same problem happened

                                 On 04 Jun 09 I again visited same Nokia Care (same store, Vaishali Sec-4, Ghaziabad )and met with same executive Shalini, told her that issue is still persisting. She gave the handset to engineer. After 15 to 20 min they returned my handset and told me that THEY HAVE LOOSEN THE KEYPAD and if still issue persists then they need to send handset to company.
                                This time no JOB SHEET was provided

                                Problem was still not resolved (At the time of collecting the handset key were working fine but just after few hours same problem happened)

                                 I again visit Nokia Care on 07th Jun 09 same store, Vaishali Sec-4, Ghaziabad, this time I had decided to send the handset to company. And gave the handset to same executive Shalini

                                Same JOB SHEET given to me with number[protected]/090531/32 but with changed date i.e 07th Jun 09
                                After getting the handset back some 1446 number sticker is pasted on handset

                                My handset was sent company and after 9 days I received a call from Nokia care that issue is resolved I can get my handset collected. I collected my handset on 17th Jun 09.
                                This time also keys worked for just few hours and again started creating issue.

                                Now please tell me where should I approach, I think I have already followed all the procedure but still your hi-tech engineers are unable to resolve the concern.

                                It has become very difficult now to tolerate this issue, “KINDLY GET THIS HANDSET REPLACED”

                                  on 14th march 09 i recieved a message from nokia/uk that i have won three hundred and sixety thousand pounds and two nokia phones. i was asked to contact jerry white at [protected]. i did that and he confirmed the winning. Their representative Ben Fenyang called me up this morning 21st march 09 and confirmed that he has reached India and is calling from customs. He asked me to make a payment of rs. 22700/- towards customs clearance charges. i did that. he now claims to be in delhi and has asked me to make a further payment of 1600 dollars towards obtaining certificates from the U.N. I have not done that. Please advise me further.

                                    I purchased a new Nokia mobile phone model 3110 c very recently in chennai jainsons consumer goods stores at mylapore in chennai. The mobile phone which i purchased is getting heated while making a call or receiving a call . Within 2 minutes phone get heated if the call is made for more than 5 minutes phone is getting overheated and it is unable to hold the mobile phone near the right or left ear. I feel it is harmful and dangerous to hold the phone. I too feel it may cause any problem to my health. i kindly request the Nokia company service department to thoroughly check my phone and find out the problem in the handset.                                       Sir, i have lost my mobile on 10/10/2008 in Avalon Aviation Academy,
                                      Dadar(w), Mumbai at 1130. Is there any way to get my mobile back. I
                                      have also complained the local police station of Shivaji Park, Dadar

                                        Some body stolen my Nokia N70 Music Edition (Color Black) when i am getting down from the bus on 16th March 2009 at Innovative Multiplex, Marthahalli, Bangalore. I contacted My mobile service provider & Nokia service center they said they are also helpless. My mobile IMEI number is [protected]. I have bill also.                                         On same day I went to police station to give complaint but the police guy is telling what can i do I was surprised, and even he is not taking complaint also. He is telling, he will give one acknowledgment to get new SIM card. My opinion in India police are not working for common people. If they get money then they will do job's. Because of that only mobile thefts are more in India and much more in cities.

                                        Nokia N70 Music Edition — Pathetic service center

                                        Hi,

                                        I am writing this mail because I had a pathetic experience in one of the Nokia Care center and with one of Nokia’s service engineer.

                                        Center – Janakpuri, District Center
                                        Engineer – Daman Deep Singh

                                        Problem – my phone’s display was having a problem. Everything is appearing upside down and the display was faint.

                                        On 23-May-09 I went to one of the local mobile repair shops to get my phone rectified. The person said that the display needs to be changed and it will cost Rs. 1400/-. I went to Nokia Care because I didn’t able to trust the local shop. This service engineer (Daman Deep Singh) looked into my phone and he did something in front of me by hiding it from me and shown it to his colleague and then told me that the display needs to be changed and will cost Rs. 1620/. I agree with him and asked him to change it. Daman Deep Singh then took my phone inside a room and probably didn’t change anything and asked his colleague to come there and have a look. His colleague went inside and they had some discussion (I saw them talking but didn’t able to hear because I was seating far). Then this guy (Daman Deep Singh) comes out in 2 minutes (after discussing) and told me that it is now working fine and he has changed my display. By this time I was more than 100% sure that this guy (Daman Deep Singh) has not changed the display but able to rectify it because may the display was not having much of a problem. I told him that I don’t want the new display and give me back my old display. Then he (Daman Deep Singh) went inside and took almost 10 minutes to come back. In those 10 minutes he went inside another room and I hear some opening of plastic bag. He came back with a display. To my horror this display was not displaying anything and even the phone was not switching on. I went to this guy (Daman Deep Singh) and told me to give me my phone back in same condition in which I had given it to him (Daman Deep Singh). I asked him that when I had given it to him the display was appearing upside down and was faint but now it is complete white. Then he started arguing and as I didn’t have any proof so I was not confident that he changed the display. After this I went to this local shop again and asked him to check if anybody has changed the display. He opened and to my horror he told me that the display which is in there is a Chinese display and somebody has changed it. I asked him that is there anyway I can prove that this the original display has been changed and the local shop service boy said no. I had left with no choice but to get the display changed from the local shop.

                                        I know it is almost impossible to prove that my display has been changed by Daman Deep Singh but I am sure he has done it. After this incident I really don’t want to go in any of these Nokia Care. These guys can do anything and can go to any extent to save themselves. I hope you will take some action against this guy.

                                        I want to share an experience of a mobile reparing shop in Rishikesh(Dehra Dun)

                                        Problem: I m writing this mail because the display my cellphone nokia n70 got some problem
                                        cellphone was fully functional but showing just a white screen and was completely invisible
                                        i had changed the display 1 month prior by a local shop in Rishikesh named Bobby Electronics at a cost
                                        of Rs. 1300 and i m sure he had not replaced the older display by new one rather he has changed it with
                                        another old display and now it is again damaged within a month.
                                        when i ask him to give the bill of that display he said that i m going no where
                                        i m here if the display is having any problem
                                        i went to the shop and ask him about the problem he is saying that now this display is damaged and
                                        you need to again change the display and has to pay for that.
