Respected Sir,
Some body stolen my Nokia N70 Music Edition (Color Black) when i am getting down from the bus on 16th March 2009 at Innovative Multiplex, Marthahalli, Bangalore. I contacted My mobile service provider & Nokia service center they said they are also helpless. My mobile IMEI number is [protected]. I have bill also. Please if any one find or got please return to me. Please contact me my mail id: [protected]@yahoo.co.in.
On same day I went to police station to give complaint but the police guy is telling what can i do I was surprised, and even he is not taking complaint also. He is telling, he will give one acknowledgment to get new SIM card. My opinion in India police are not working for common people. If they get money then they will do job's. Because of that only mobile thefts are more in India and much more in cities.

Nokia N70 Music Edition — Pathetic service center

Hi,

I am writing this mail because I had a pathetic experience in one of the Nokia Care center and with one of Nokia’s service engineer.

Center – Janakpuri, District Center
Engineer – Daman Deep Singh

Problem – my phone’s display was having a problem. Everything is appearing upside down and the display was faint.

On 23-May-09 I went to one of the local mobile repair shops to get my phone rectified. The person said that the display needs to be changed and it will cost Rs. 1400/-. I went to Nokia Care because I didn’t able to trust the local shop. This service engineer (Daman Deep Singh) looked into my phone and he did something in front of me by hiding it from me and shown it to his colleague and then told me that the display needs to be changed and will cost Rs. 1620/. I agree with him and asked him to change it. Daman Deep Singh then took my phone inside a room and probably didn’t change anything and asked his colleague to come there and have a look. His colleague went inside and they had some discussion (I saw them talking but didn’t able to hear because I was seating far). Then this guy (Daman Deep Singh) comes out in 2 minutes (after discussing) and told me that it is now working fine and he has changed my display. By this time I was more than 100% sure that this guy (Daman Deep Singh) has not changed the display but able to rectify it because may the display was not having much of a problem. I told him that I don’t want the new display and give me back my old display. Then he (Daman Deep Singh) went inside and took almost 10 minutes to come back. In those 10 minutes he went inside another room and I hear some opening of plastic bag. He came back with a display. To my horror this display was not displaying anything and even the phone was not switching on. I went to this guy (Daman Deep Singh) and told me to give me my phone back in same condition in which I had given it to him (Daman Deep Singh). I asked him that when I had given it to him the display was appearing upside down and was faint but now it is complete white. Then he started arguing and as I didn’t have any proof so I was not confident that he changed the display. After this I went to this local shop again and asked him to check if anybody has changed the display. He opened and to my horror he told me that the display which is in there is a Chinese display and somebody has changed it. I asked him that is there anyway I can prove that this the original display has been changed and the local shop service boy said no. I had left with no choice but to get the display changed from the local shop.

I know it is almost impossible to prove that my display has been changed by Daman Deep Singh but I am sure he has done it. After this incident I really don’t want to go in any of these Nokia Care. These guys can do anything and can go to any extent to save themselves. I hope you will take some action against this guy.

I want to share an experience of a mobile reparing shop in Rishikesh(Dehra Dun)

Problem: I m writing this mail because the display my cellphone nokia n70 got some problem
cellphone was fully functional but showing just a white screen and was completely invisible
i had changed the display 1 month prior by a local shop in Rishikesh named Bobby Electronics at a cost
of Rs. 1300 and i m sure he had not replaced the older display by new one rather he has changed it with
another old display and now it is again damaged within a month.
when i ask him to give the bill of that display he said that i m going no where
i m here if the display is having any problem
i went to the shop and ask him about the problem he is saying that now this display is damaged and
you need to again change the display and has to pay for that.

    Nokia — Barring outgoing calls

    Recently i have recd Nokia 1650 handset from my company. I am not able to do any outgoing calls from this handset. There is no Problem in My SIM card. It is working in other handset. I observed that the barring facility of outgoing calls is password protected. So please provide the company default security password or do the needful at the earlist

    Hi have given my handset that is 5310 Xpress Music to Nokia Care, akshaya bandar, Mysore for the waterlog on saturday. Those stupid people have taken my handset on saturday and they have checked that on tuesday by that time handset was get fully circuted. And each and every people in that office are the hopeless fellows. They are unfit for the coustomer service. They should be hanged for their doings.
    How ever the they have given my handset back without any repair after keeping that in pending for almost 30days. But the handset is been repaired by a local mobile repairer shop.

    Nokia 3110C — being barred from service center

    I Animesh Ghosh bought a nokia 3110c about 2 years ago now the mobile is damaged.
    it does not taking the sim though it is inserted. when i take it to nokia service center they took it and told me to wait after one week they told me " your phone can't be repaired" i asked why but they told me nothing.
    they told to buy a new one and throw away the old .
    my questions is why they do not want to repair my phone

        I purcahsed Nokia 3110C mobile in August 2008. it is stiil under warranty. Last fifteen days
        the ring tone was very low and MP-3 player was not working. I took to Nokia service on 19.03.09 even, before opening the phone they enquire whether i dreopped the phone or there was water entry.
        But i neither dropped or there was water entry . After they took it inside for check up they
        came out and said there is water entry inside the phone, hence no warranty service. i tried to convince them that there was no water entry . But they were stubborn to listen. I doubt their checking method. whether they sprayed some water.
        Since i was in need of mobile i agreed for chargeable service whcih is Rs550 + material; charges.
        Is this a way to exploit the customer?. At the time of handing there was no problem except low ringing volume. The service people also told after replacement if the ringer does not work they need to test again at extra charge of Rs 110 is this another way of looting gullible customer. Through this complaint
        i request all future Nokia buyers to be careful before decding to buy Nokia Phones.

        Beware of Nokia Service.

          Dear Sir

          I bought Nokia 2310 in December 2007 and handling it nicely. In January 2009, while talking in the bus, my mobile went off and it was automatically on and off for 5 times and went off permanently. I bought the mobile for Rs.2000+ only. When I gave for service at Nokia care centre, I was told the power IC is gone which is the inbuilt one and it will cost me Rs.1500+ since the whole panel need to be replaced.

          I was able to use the mobile only for a year and I am feeling very bad and not willing to buy again Nokia except the user friendly options.

          When I was sharing this with my friend, who has the similar mobile told me the same thing that his mobile too is not getting on and he is not using it since January 2009. We don't know whether any obsolete technology used to do some research on this model.

          We too are the loosers and helpless

                This is Vineetha. This to inform you that I lost my mobile near Vadapalani Signal yesterday evening at around 6. Its a nokia 1100 (white panel) mobile, even though its 5 year old mobile it looks good with all the numbers and alphabets visible clearly. My dad blocked the card today afternoon.                   The Keys 7, 8 are not working at all. I purchased this Mobile 1 month back and registerd the complaints 3 times within the same week in Nokia Care center Noida but phone is still not working at all. I just want to get the new phone because in near future the problem can come again and it also comes under warranty period.It will be really greatful from your side if you replace new phone instead of reparing this mobile again and again.

                    I would like the Noika persons (Higher most officials) to replace their products, if there is any problem with the brand new set within 30 days of purchase. This should be informed to all the stores where NOKIA is sold and they should not ask us to go to Nokia Care centre. Why should i replace a spare part within 30 days of my purchase, it is their duty to replace the product and if they feel the product has manufacturing defect they should not put it in the market and recommend for it.
                    I am expereincing a bad time with the Noika Care centre, 10th Main Road anna Nagar Chennai -40.
                    Dear Customers, Please do not buy any products from THE MOBILE STORE, ANNA NAGAR, They would recommed for the product and promise for replacement till you buy, but once bought they would behave like a street vendors. The nokia Care centre Anna Nagar has a tie with this store and give the worst service and creates a very bad name for NOKIA BRAND. I would definitely not buy Nokia brand hereafter and also suggest my friend, relatives and my viewers in this site not to buy.
                    Worst service i have ever seen in any countries i visted like USA, UK.

                      I have submitted my Nokia mobile N-70 to the nokia care, which is located at east delhi (opp to V3S mall, laxminagar) by the name of MAA Communication on 17 jan 09. though it was under warranty but they have claimed me Rs.800 for this and even after paying the amount they are not able to resolve my issue.Infact they have converted my mobile which was in working condition to scrap, it is still with them.Actually speaker gets activated automatically of my mobile but know it is of no use.They behaved very rudely and insulted me both physically and mentally..

                        I approached to M/S Initiative Data System (P) Ltd-2008-09, 9-D, Singar Nagar, Alambagh, Lucknow and asked for purchase of a nokia mobile phone enabled with 3G feature. They recommended to purchase Model no.:N73-5 (Edge); on my querry that a problem with regards to 3G has been reported in the newspaper in this model/set, they replied that report in the newspaper is not correct because this set has 3G feature; only a simple upgradation of software is required, which can be done from our service centre without any charge. On their recommendations, I bought the mobile set: Nokia N-73-5(edge) IMEI-[protected] BP6M[protected] accordingly, vide Invoice no. VAT/[protected] dated[protected]. But when I approached to service centre in the Alambagh area, they suggested that nothing is required because it is 3G enabled. But I am not able to activate the same, when I gone through the information available in the site "Specification of mobile phones" I found that 3G feature is not available in this set.

                        In the light of above you would be agree that it is not a fair business. You are therefore requested to please look into the matter and make necessary arrangements for the exchange of the same with 3G enabled set at the earliest.

                        Despite repeated efforts I have heard nothing so far.
                        Same problem here Mr Srivastava. I also am not able 2 activate 3G IN MY n 73-5, though being told that it is a 3G enabled handset. ARE THE NOKIA PEOPLE LISTENING!!! ...PLZ DO SOMETHING FAST!!

                            Subject: Regarding Replacement of NOKIA N73-1 having unacceptance problem of lock code.

                            Sir,
                            This is to bring to your notice that I Pankaj Mishra own a NOKIA N-73 (IMEI-[protected]) Music Edition bought on 4th June 2008 from The Mobile Store in Waves (Mall), Lucknow (U.P). After 2 months I faced a problem that my cell phone didn't accept the phone lock code if changed. As I am pursuing my studies from Jaipur I got it unlocked by paying a amount of 225.But soon I realized that it was a technical fault in my phone which continued till date.
                            Returning back to Lucknow I gave the phone to the INFOCARE SERVICES (NOKIA Care) in Indira Nagar near Maruti Puram (opposite Lekhraj Dollar). Returning my phone after a month they assured me to not face the problem again. But since then I have submitted my phone to them thrice, latest which was when they returned me back with the cell phone on 12th of March but I again had to give it back to them for the same problem on 16th March. Facing this problem has led me to leave the cell phone most of the time in NOKIA CARE causing me problems as with no standby provided and financial problems because I have to come back to Lucknow each time to collect my cell phone. I asked the concerning person from the NOKIA CARE to get my phone changed from the company if possible because the problem still continued, but with no satisfactory answers, as they still wish to return me a repaired phone.
                            With the problem continuing I am facing a lot of problem as I have no other cell phone to cope up with this problem. I request you to take some required steps as I am not willing to take the problematic handset this time. I need you to take interest in the matter and help me in sorting out the problem. Failing which I will have to go in the CONSUMER COURT to get my problem sorted out. Wish you would take some required steps and reply or contact me within 10 to 12 days about the matter.
                            I request you to take some steps to sort out my problem.

                              i am pankaj jain
                              i bought a nokia handset (N-82)from subhiksha Mumbai on march 8, 2008. after 4 month i had a problem with that handset. When I submit that handset to nokia care, noida (HCL InfoTech) they swap my handset with the new one handset and told me that "my warranty status same as per my original bill”.After some time in march 2009 when my handset was creating problem again than i went to nokia care again but this time they deny to accept my handset under warranty. And told me that this swap chalaan of this handset not acceptable.
                              Than i call to nokia customer helpline Bangalore on [protected].on 6 March 2009.that time they bring all of the documents and original bill and swap chalan by fax. and told me that we solve ur case in 2 days .when i call him after 2 days they again demand the all document from me and tell me we solve your case in 1 day after recieving all my document again. I sent the entire document again by fax on 7 march. That time Mr. Abid attend me.
                              After 1 day when i call again Miss Dolan attend me and told that our senior working on my case. So call after 1 day. When i call on next day again they told me the same reply our senior working on the same case please call after 1 day. Miss dolan told me on when i call to nokia helpline i say to speak to dolan . But when I call to nokia helpline and said that transfers the call to dolan they told dolan on a long leave. I call him today also but again the same reply and they don’t solve my case yet
                              My call reference id 2-3TPP7R ( may be on 6 march ) and 2-3 U57FL (may be on 8 march).
                              I call them from the following no [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. But they r not showing any interest in my case. I spend more than 800 Rs. yet in call or fax. May be in such amount is sufficient to repair my cell. But I am still fighting for the fair process.
                              So plzz help me as soon as possible waiting for your reply and corporation.

                              NEW DELHI IN JUNE 08. FOR A PRICE OF RS 14000 PLUS.
                              IT IS LESS THAN AN YEAR AND ITS CAMERA SWITCH BROKE DOWN. I WAS TOLD BY NOKIA SHOWROOM THAT THIS CANNOT BE REPAIRED FREE WITHIN WARRANTY PERIOD. THEY SAID I HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIR AND IT WILL COST RS 6000 TO CHANGE THE BROKEN PORTION.

                              IT SOUNDS TOTALLY UNETHICAL. RS 6000 FOR REPAIR OR A SMALL SWITCH. THAT TOO WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

                              nokia 7210 — Non Swapping of Handset by Company

                              After being repaired two times mobile phone, same problem occurred to my cell phone. when I submitted the phone third time executive assured me to replace the handset by company. But there was no replacement of handset, only updation of software done.They took long time for repair & not given me any standby which is company's policy. Now I am facing the same problem again & now I want my phone to be replaced by company by a newer phone.

                              Hope you will take appropriate action on my complaint.

                              Nokia-Super Nova — Mobile Handset Ring Broken

                              I have given my Nokia Mobile, Model is Super Nova at a Nokia Servicing Centre which is located in Babukhan Mall, Somajiguda, Hyderabad on[protected] saying that Kye Pad is not working. They said Liquid got spread into that and key pad has to be changed and Rs. 850 is what they charge for that.
                              I did not want to get it done and asked to give the mobile back.They have given the mobile back but the ring around the Handset was broken by that time. I said it's not broken whenI have given them and asked them to replace the ring. They say it's broken when they have taken it and rejected to replace it.I left the mobile with them only. what shall I do now?

                                i have purchaged Nokia cell of model 5310 IMEI NO [protected] product code 0548081 from amritsar.after 10 month its software not properly work.                                   Dear Sir I have purchase Nokia 3600 Slide with Blooth Pack In the Month of Nov 08 Last one month it giving interepteed error through ON/OFF switch. I went ot Nokia Service centre Named Aditya telecom Ghatkopar (w) He checke and told us that It is battery problem it iwill tale 20 days to replace it is now 15 days gone .we followed the same on 17/03/09 he replied same answer as previous he told that we are helpless we cant do untill unless Nokia will not provide the accessories.

                                  I mean to say I dont have alternnate for communnucation due to this I am loosing money every day and facing more problems.
                                  Or I have to purchase another Handset for my survival.
                                  I hope so it will be done on priority outherwise all my expenses business loss, new handset price etc will be in your account.

                                  It is not the battery problem even ohad this problem with my 3600s only after 15 days of purchasing i handed my mobile to service center at andheri, Mumbai it took 25 days to clear. it was working fine but nowadyas it hangs a lot and mobile internal memory it is showing 12 mb actually it is 25 mb now im looking a solution for it.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    With a lot of excitement and faith I had purchased a Nokia 5800, Xpress Music Mobile Phone on the eve of Republic Day i.e. on 25.01.2009 from authorized shop (The Mobile Store Limited, G-3 Agarwal Mall, Plot -3, Sector-5, Dwarka, New Delhi). The IMEI Number of hand set is [protected].

                                    All my excitement went away when I started using the Phone as there was some manufacturing defect in the phone, the quality of outgoing and incoming audio was very poor and the phone was not even fulfilling the basic requirement of conversation. I have immediately taken up the matter with the dealer. Dealer informed me that Nokia Care facility is available for necessary Replacement/Repair purpose and they only are authorized/deciding agency for Replacement/Repair of Nokia make phones. As I have to proceed on overseas assignment during that period. I approached Nokia Care (OM UJALA COMMUNICATION, F-101/102, 1ST FLOOR, KRISHNA PLAZA, PLOT NO. 12, SECTOR-4, DWARKA, NEW DELHI) ON 08.02.09 immediately after reaching India. Above mentioned Nokia Care center informed me that I have to hand over the phone to them as the same has to be sent to IMC for necessary Replacement/Repair, Thy have given me a job sheet Numbered[protected]/090208/7 dated 08.02.09.

                                    I was shocked when I received the phone on 17.02.2009 as the front panel of the phone was changed by Nokia care with different color panel and the problem of poor audio quality was still persisting. Nokia Care has accepted that the error of mismatch of front panel has occured at their/IMC end. Nokia care again took the phone for necessary correction/corrective action. They have again given me the other job sheet on the same day which was numbered[protected]/090217/30 and dated 17.02.09.

                                    During above process, many times I contacted the Nokia Helpline and appraised the whole state of affairs to them and requested them to intervene and help me out. They have assured to help me and do the needful.

                                    It was very shocking that when I went to receive my phone after Nokia care’s call on 01.03.2009, the front panel of the phone was not corrected and moreover the behavior of Nokia Care staff including their Manager was far from satisfaction. They told me that the error has been done by IMC ( other Nokia center where the phone was sent) and they are not responsible and I should go to some other Nokia Service Center for further service. They have refused to do any thing further and they have given me the phone as it is. They have not even taken any comments from me.

                                    Now the phone with me is of non standard color combination, half of the body of my phone is of different color and upper half of different color.

                                    I have requested Nokia Head office also to arrange for the replacement of entire set as the same is not meeting expectations of Nokia Quality from the first day of purchase. For this I have sent a written complaint to The Chairmen, Nokia India Pvt. Ltd., 5th Floor, A&B Tower, Cyber Green, DLF Cyber City, DLF, Phase-2, Sector-25A, Gurgaon (Haryana)- 122002 and I have sent various e mails to Nokia also. Although I have received various assurance from M/S Nokia but till date my problem is not resolved and no action has been taken by M/S Nokia.

                                    You can very well appreciate the pinch of not able to use such a costly phone for a single day even after the purchase before 1.5 months. I request your good self to intervene and arrange for the resolution of my above mentioned problem on urgent basis.

                                      Subject:- Complaint regarding deficiency in service and repair of Nokia-Mobile 6300 . Model, IMEI-[protected].
                                      Dear Sir(s),
                                      I hereby beg to submit the complaint regarding the deficiency in service of my mobile phone subjected above to the following effect:-
                                      1. That I have purchased the above mentioned mobile phone from M/S Intel Communication Sundernagar for Rs.6850/-only on dated 16.02.09.
                                      2. That due to some technical defect the said mobile phone was not displaying the characteristics of function and was handed over for repair on the direction of M/s Intel Communication at Nokia Care Mandi on dated 26.02.09 for which Rs 2000/-was charged by your care center prior To the delivery of the mobile phone on dated 27.02.2009.But, upon my inspection in your Nokia Care Center the said mobile was not displaying service provider’s SIGNAL at all.
                                      3. The mobile was simultaneously handed over to the care takers engaged by your center for the purpose for attending to the problem. It was assured that the said mobile will be handed over to me through M/S Intel Communication at Sunder Nagar within two or three days. What to speak of 2 or 3 days. Even the queries to your Nokia care Center failed to convey the exact status of the mobile phone.
                                      4. After chain of calls a SMS was communicated by me at [protected] on dated 11.03.2009 at 16.39.54 PM. to expedite the repair of the said mobile and was requested to convey the status of my mobile under repair with Nokia Care at Mandi.
                                      5. In response to this SMS A confirmatory message was received from your mobile Stating **Ur phone is ok pls.Collect it regards**Sender [protected]. Sent: 11-Mar-2009 17:14:39.
                                      6. In compliance to your confirmatory message I visited Your Nokia Care center Mandi on dated 14.03.2009 to collect the said mobile. To my utmost surprise the said mobile phone was having the same defect which was not rectified at all by your care center. The persons at counter as well as your service Engineer were asked to perform the functions of the Mobile Phone under repair, but they were not in a position to do so. This type of fictitious message has put me un-necessary travelling from Sunder Nagar to Mandi and Vice Versa. This act and conduct of your service center is highly deplorable and against the fair trade practices which is not at all desirable. This was also brought to your knowledge telephonically but of no avail. This amounts to deficiency in service on your part, hence the present complaint.
                                      7. It is, therefore, required that the said defects be rectified within three days from the receipts of this complaint, failing which I shall be constrained to file a complaint against you all in the Ld. District Consumer and redessal Forum Mandi in order to redress this grievance, in accordance with law and in that event you shall be responsible for all the consequences, arising there from.

                                      Nokia 6300 — SMS SENDING FAILURE

                                        I lost my Nokia mobile No.[protected], with Airtel Sim Card, while i was travelling in the local Train from Mumbra Station to Dadar ( at Mumbai) on 16 th March 2009 at 6.15.p.m. I tried the customer service but in vain . Hence i request you to block the SIM card and do the needful.

                                        i am Ramesh from Anna Nagar (Chennai), Yesterday morning (4.-11.2007) at arround 11:AM i went to a temple at Koyambedu, while returning to my home i lost my mobile this i have found my mobile missing only after reaching my home. while returning from Temple to my home inbetween i made a call at thirumangalam signal after that i kept in my pocket,in the way while driving it may missed out.i already logged a complaint at Thirumagalam Polica Station (located Anna Nagar Bus Depot).
