Nokia C6 — asking repair charges in warranty period | |||
sir I procured Nokia c6-00 black mobile IMEI : [protected] from Nokia priority Partner Bhartiya Vision New Delhi on 12th April 2011 by paying Rs. 12550/-. Suddenly my display becomes blank. To rectify the problem I personally alongwith my mother visited the Nokia service & Communication Solution, A-180 (1st Floor), Sukhdev Nagar Market, Kotla Mubarak Pur New Delhi on 26th December 2011. The service centre executive has asked us to pay the Rs. 3250/- to rectify the display problem. When we told that it is under warranty then she told that the slider is physically damaged from inside therefore it is not covered under warranty. Sir when my slider is intact then I am unable to understand that how can I damage the inside. Moreover nobody will purchase the mobile to damage it him/herself. This is the question of creditability of NOKIA not the Repair charges of Rs 3250/-. I request you that please look into the matter and instruct the service center to rectify the mistake under warranty. My other phone number is [protected] and residence Land Line is [protected]. Nokia — repair charges in warranty
sir...i purchased nokia 2760 in october 2008..imei no [protected]. it stopped working in november 2008 ..i submitted it to nokia care centre at patiala..they said that they have to send the handset to noida for repair... i got it back after a month in working condition.. it stopped working again on 12th jul 2009 .. i went to nokia care again they said the handset has no repair seal or sticker inside ... so u have to pay for repair charges ... my handset is still in warranty .. i called at customer care no they said they r helpless they cant do anything regarding this ..so tel me should i throw this phone out...i m capable for paying reapir charges but why should i when the warranty is still on???if the handset has not seal or sticker inside it thats nt my fault thats there fault they have not done that.. i think i should move to consumer court for justice now...

i faced the same problem. they asked for 2300.. i thought before problem increases more i paid. but it is stil in warranty peroid. i bought the cell in may. can anything be done nw.. today only i did that. my id is [protected]@yahoo.com and m from chandigarh

guys i have thought to go to consumer court but because of some personal circumstances i am not able to do that now...
well before that you may also go to nokia care to get a written paper saying that they wont repair and then only go to court...

chat to the executive tell them your problem register a complain and they do as they say and keep a record surely of your chat as you can use it also as a proof in consumer court if this donot work
