[Resolved] Nokia N8 — Nokia airtel offer | |||
Respected sir,i am Rahul kumar gupta from gaya,bihar.i bought a new Nokia N8 last month from a private shop in gaya.the IMEI number of my phone is [protected].my airtel number is [protected].i got an offer from airtel with my nokia N8.the offer was 2gb gprs pack for 6 months.i was using my airtel number.i put it inside Nokia N8 and i started using my phone.i didnot received any messages from Nokia regarding This offer.i went to the shop for getting the offer.but they told me to contact airtel as this offer was given by nokia with airtel.i went to the airtel office.told them about this offer.they also got confused about this offer.after a few days i went to Nokia priority dealer in gaya.a member told me to get my airtel number recharged with more than 50 rupees.i got my airtel number recharged with Rs.60.i got Rs.52 as main balance and 2gb gprs balance.i was very happy n satisfied with the offer.i got this offer on 10th of november.but on 10th dec,2011 i got my same airtel number recharged with Rs.60,i got Rs.52 as main balance but i donot received 2gb gprs pack.please help me in getting this offer.i am really very sad and upset.please help me.you can contact or inform me at my airtel number which i have already told u.it is [protected] or you can mail me at [protected]@yahoo.in Hope you people will help me in getting my offer. The matter is not yet resolved.
I have sent all the details to [protected]@in.airtel.com as I do not want to disclose my phone number here.
I have also approached callcenter and response from Callcenter and 121 mail has been very dissatisfactory. It gives me a feeling that you have not value for loyal customers. I am feeling very dejected and thinking of changing the provider.
Hoping that I will get my issue resolved from the mail I have sent to [protected]@in.airtel.com

AirTel — Airtel offer for Nokia N8
I bought a Nokia N8 phone on 20th April. The cover had the offer“Enjoy the power of Nokia N8 with Airtel
Free mobile internet from Airtel for 6 months
Just insert the Airtel SIM to activate the offer”
I inserted my SIM and started using the Internet. The bill for my internet usage is 2500!!! and I had thought it is free!
When I contacted Airtel, I was told I had to call the Customer care center to enable the GPRS. But nowhere in the offer this was mentioned!!
I have been informed by Airtel that I have to bear this amount!
My normal bill amount is 400+ per month.
Is this the price I have to pay for using my new N8 Nokia phone for 15 days???
