its been 9 days our TV got spoiled and we complained the same day but no people are coming and they are giving some nonsense reasons and their attitude is also not good why we have purchase a product when they are not ready to provide services ,please take necessary step and help us out.

My Onida DVD player is lying with Onida Service Centre since 22/09/2011. I telephoned once and got reply that the work has not yet been done. About a month ago an online complaint was made at Onida website which consoled me that somebody would contact me shortly but nothing has happened so far. Should I assume that my DVD player has been confiscated? My complaint no. is [protected], dt.22/09/2011. Should I hope to get my set bac? However it is worth mentioning that I have got my service period extended from 08/2011 to 08/2012 for the said DVD player. My address & phone no.is as under:

Dear Sir,

I have purchesed a ONIDA LED 24" on 04.10.11 from TMC-Visakhapatnam.I am faced lots of problem with ONIDA customer service. compliant no:[protected].TMC donot help their customers to get the required service. when directly contacted ONIDA, there is no response from their side..ONIDA customer care is very very very poor, the service executives are non cooperative and lazy. I am waiting for their ONIDA service for the last one month.

Onida — no response from service engg

I have an AMC for Onida 29 inch TV valid till JAN 2012. Now my Onida TV started to give problems from 10-jan, so contact my local service engg Ajay Pal for same as per him I registered my complaint with the Onida Customer care & was assigned a complaint number: [protected] and was promised the engineer would visit as soon as possible. Since nobody came, I called up the CC again & they gave me the engineer's number who told me he hasn't got the time to come anytime soon as he has many other complains to catch up. His name is Ajay pal and tejinder @ [protected]. who after repeated calling assured that somebody would be on Sunday 29 Jan by 9 pm to look into the issue. Well, as expected, nobody came. No calls, nothing.

when i call to my service Engg he said their is no availability of part same will be come from Delhi so i said how much time will that take to come from Delhi then he start speaking non-sense.

I'm really pissed off at their attitude as while giving the AMC they would respond in 1 phone call and while giving the service I'm getting a hard time.

Already wrote the same in Onida's feedback form.

Dear Sir,

I had purchased one 1.5 tones ONIDA Split Air Conditioner, and immediately after the completion one year warranty i was compelled by the service technician to take Comprehensive AMC, and I did so. But the ONIDA service centre people every time asking money for any replacement of their useless parts. ONIDA services has become so so so worst.
I bought a honida flat TV29inch, and i have spent more than 4800 rupees in repair of mother board, such a bad invention and technology, in this condition how dare they r to launch LCD and LED when their technicians are not trained in out dated flat tv technology? Dont buy any product from ONIDA T>V.

I bought new Onida 29" Poison TV Jan'2009 at Shah's, Anna Nagar, Chennai. The TV was new laughing and my model is 2000W subwoofer system. Hence i have booked the TV in advanced and received Feb'2009 with stabilizer. Exactly 3 years this was running smart. But now the tranfer was failure. I can't accecpt the reason for the failure with using stabilizer also. Hence i have deceided to file a compliant and called the customercare and the mechanic told its a power problem. This is not a valid reason and i argue with him, but he told its repairing cost will be reached at Rs.3000.00. Please before purchase of these products Extend your Warrenty...

You are absolutely right. I also had a similar experience in bangalore recently. In my case the microwave oven not started at all from the date of purchase. after going through all traumatic experience i returned the oven to shop with an obligation of purchasing another brand of microwave oven.

Sir,
I am M. Arumugham. P.A.to C.E.O. (Retd)., I bought one 1.5 ton ONIDA A C . (S18SPDN5 ) ON 19th March 2012 at M/s vasanth &co., Palayamcottai. (Bill no [protected] dt[protected].

When the Machine starts working, it is observed that the outdoor unit seems to be very hot and so I have booked a complaint on 19th April (call no [protected]). The next day one technician came and accept that there is some problem in the outer unit. He told me that he will consult Mr.Sakthivel, the chief technician to rectify the problem.

I have ringed Mr.Sakthivel so many times and finally he came on 25 th April. He accepted that there is some fault in the out door unit fan and he said with in two days it will be rectified.

After a number of calls, one technician came on 30th April and said that Mr.Sakthivel will come and rectify the problem.

It is highly regretted to inform you that the fault is not rectified till date even after a lapse of 31 days. All my efforts are in vain. I don’t know why there is such delay.

I have contacted your chennai Call centre nearly five times and every time they gave me separate call nos as follows.

But the defect remains the same. No sincere efforts have been taken by your service person to rectify the problem. I am feeling very bad for buying your company product because of your service deficiency.

Your worst attitude on after sales service has pushed me not to recommend your products to my near and dears. I am to inform you now that if the defect in the AC unit is not rectified within a week’s time, I will approach the Consumer Court for getting remedy.
Expecting a good step and a reply I remain.

These Onida company is selling customer information to other vendors, who sells washing machine covers and stands.
I had a bad experience with Onida and Onida customer care. I bought a washing machine at Metro hyderabad. I have been asked my address for free home delivery and i was said executive would be sent my home for demo. Next it was delivered to my home and as soon as it was delivered, i got a call from executive was it delivered or not. I answered him it was delievered. He came to my home and suggested to buy washing machine cover, stand and some powder for 1000/- and he showed us some demonstration and broke the lock of door. When I asked him, he said next day one more executive would come to me and replace the lock and left with my sodexho book of 1100 rs. Next day, we got one more executive, shocking he said he is the guenine company executive. Anyway, the customer info was sold to thieves by the Onida company. I raised something to Area manager of Onida and Metro Manager. They both are blaming each other. Till now they did not rectify the defect piece and did cancel my complaing without any info. I dont know whom to escalate this.
I am Srinivas Addagatla and i would like to share the bad service situations that i am currently experiencing with Onida. We bought Onida AC 1.5 ton in year 2010 in Bajaj Electronics, Kukatpally. It worked fine for 1 year after which i started realizing the difficulties of getting Onida support. As a first step, I logged a complaint with customer care and i got a call back from service team after 1 week of logging the complaint. Now, that story is not ended, they will say they will come at one time but they won't turn up, calling back customer care will give us a contact number of local service provider and that person is even more horrible than customer care. He promised something that he never stands on, they won't pickup our calls, the language they use is non-polite etc. After bearing all this to get my AC repaired while under warranty, i will get a pathetic service and that too after making 10+ calls to the technician, technicians manager, their manager's manager etc. I really wonder if such an effort needs to be made just to get service, if i had gone with other vendors like LG, Samsung etc.

One year later, I again have worst experience with Onida services. I logged a compliant about some issue with my AC unit ([protected] ), they took their sweet time (11 days) to respond to the issue. Note that it was not that simple to get the technician attend the case in 11 days, i had to make 10 different calls to customer care, area technical team head, technician himself to fix the time etc. The kind of experience i had while doing all this with technicians and technicians head (Adonis Electronics in specific ) is really really pathetic. They don't come on time, they wont call back customer as promised, they don't even have a proper time sense or language sense to talk to Customer. So again, the problem is not fixed and they are supposed to attend back to the case which did not happen yet and i had to log a new complaint [protected] to get someone attend to the problem that they considered to have fixed, which is not true in reality. I have already made 10+ calls and following up for last 3 days with no luck. The lead now starts saying "Jyadha math Kharo sir aap"...is this what customers get after buying Onida products ?

I have now realized that the biggest mistake i did in my life is buying Onida's product. I would never buy any Onida products nor let any of my known ones buy the products due to pathetic support provided by Onida services. I never experienced such issues with other services like LG, Sony, Samsung etc in same electronics sector.
It has further degraded now, when i call them to know the status they will answer the call and says some will come and disconnects the call without listening completely. I think there is no way to get proper support from Onida and better to go with some third party local vendors than these pathetic support guys.
