[Resolved] Oriental Insurance Company — Delay in claim settlement | |||
My name is Gurminderpal Singh. last year we bought a new car on my father's name (Jaswinder Singh). Our car met with an accident on 4 Aug this year and till now i have not got claim. I have insurance from oriental insurance company (http://www.orientalinsurance.org.in/) with following details. Insurance number : CHD-D-441917 Claim number : 2013/033251 Agency code : 1/47569-P car registration number : PB 57 B 0096 I have insurance from oriental insurance company (http://www.orientalinsurance.org.in/). I was made to pay Rs 80000 as they dont offer cash less at any other city than Chandigarh. At first they said that you would get this on 24 September. when we called them they said they need English translation of FIR copy. and then gave it on 1 Oct. because of their mistake they wrote my father name instead of my name as the driver name at the time of accident. when i called them they said my Driving Licence has gone to DTO office at jalandhar. and it would take 2 -3 weeks and after it come and it would take another 2 weeks to process my claim. I have emailed to [protected]@orientalinsurance.co.in and anu.[protected]@orientalinsurance.co.in. but there reply was not useful. This person [protected]@orientalinsurance.com is handling our claim case. Now it is already 4 months and i think it will take 1 more month to process my claim. SUB: DELAY IN CLAIM SETTLEMENT.
Date of submission of documents: 08/05/2009
This is to inform you that I had filed a claim for my vehicle which was theft on 12.03.2008. I claimed on 13.3.08 at Jorhat Oriental Insurance Office. After getting all required documents I had submitted the documents on 08.05.2009 for further process. I had to give one application for re-opening of claim file with the documents. The file was closed due to long time police investigation. But after submitting all documents I have not received my claim amount till date.
Please let me know why it is taking long time after giving all documents and police final report. I am not able to get information regarding my claim by visiting office or calling to regional office, Guwahati (Mrs Dhar) repeatedly. I think there should be a TAT for the process. Not a single communication had been made from oriental office for the delay of the settlement.
Please do the needful at your end and release my claim as soon as possible.

I have done FIR at Inder Puri, Police Station of District South West Delhi on dated 28/07/2009
After submitted by me, my case was fore warded to Sh S. K. Bhatia (Insurance Investigator) R 2/124, New Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, UP. I was also submitted to Sh S. K. Bhatia all documents as well as required by him up to 17/09/2009.
I was requested to The Manager, Oriental Insurance Company Limited, 9-Raj Block, Naveen Shahadera, New Delhi-32 to the subject mentioned above on dated 13/11/2009 by speed post as first reminder for necessary action at earliest.
I also request to you by speed post as IInd reminder on dated 26/11/2009, to provide the above subjected claim but I am unable to get above claim till today.
I further request you to provide the above subjected claim within 15 days otherwise I will go to the next concerned higher authority.

Sirmy father Mr. Vijay Kumar is registered owner of bike HR48-5488(splendor nxg). sir in march 2011 our buke was theft. i have apllied for theft claim. i have fullfilled my all formailty. now they are askin me for givin a photo of my bike that i not have. my bike has theft and i cant give them a photo of my bike. but they had taken a photo of my bike while doing insurance of my bike.
Sir plz help me about this matter. i shall be highly thankfull to you for this kind action.

oriental insurance — claim not settled,
I had oriental group mediclaim, wen i had accident and I filed the claim, No feedback given on any claim from karwat health who is the oriental insurance company, and when i spoke with oriental insurance company, they deny to pay the claim because for late query submission. But they didn't gave any query document.It is one of worst experience i have about oriental insurance and cannot believe on insurance company. As per my view these peoples wants to pull money from market and not interested to pay genuine claim by giving some useless reason to customer.
Pl don't make any insurance deal such worst company and gets headache forr yourself.
