[Resolved]  Passport Office Hyderabad — hyderabad passport office works on brokers

Sir,

I am really crying for myself and other people who have their files lying in the passport office at Hyderabad Regional Passport Office. It is the only passport office in India where the whole system works as a world trade fair and every thing is managed by brokers. people don't get even access to the passport office and their files rot there, passports stranded. It is the only sloppy and most irritating, humiliating place on earth as I have witnessed. people are treated as cattle and even worst than that. Everyday we see lathicharge and misconduct by police to ladies. There are more than hundred xerox shops around the office which run the passport issuing business. People form a long queue and the brokers keep scratching the people to go by their channel, the passport officials too are working together with these people. The passport office needs a raid. I fear all the fake passport might have been coming from this office only because of the irresponsible and greedy attitude of the officials. People who actually go by the proper channel don't get the jobs done on time. And there is no proper system working here in this era of digitalization and internet. the website only has its date upgraded and not status of the so called file. People keep crying, some lose their jobs, some can't go abroad to meet family, some can't come back to India because their embassy has to be answered by the hyderabad RPO and not so done, some people keep their fingers crossed for miracles to happen. so do I. I am on my knees on behalf of myself and people like me requesting you to do something. future of our country lies in proper functioning of the laws and rules and regulations and things done on time. Otherwise our status would always remain DEVELOPING and nowhere to be seen DEVELOPED any day in future. Please help us all for God sake. We respect people and have read all the books in the past on morals and code of conducts in childhood and there at the passport office one can easily see how shamefully all these are misled. Brokers make the most out of it and so do the officials. STING OPERATION IS NEEDED URGENTLY. I am sure you would find several loop holes here.
