I just wanted to write about my experience with the Hyderabad Passport office.
My experience with Hyderabad passport office is abosolutely horrific. There is no accoutability and responsibility. The telephone numbers are virtually busy 24x7. The online status says that the passport will be dispatched within weeks time. I am seeing the same status message for almost 1.5 months. It has been almost 6 months since we applied for passport...

I have applied for my child passport from hyderabad passport office on 21.01.2010 under file no. HYD-C001392 under tatkal scheme, but so far i did not get passport nor any reply from passport office inspite of sending several mails to APO(PG) <grv.[protected]@mea.gov.in>; and rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in.

I would take this ICC forum to complaint about the most incompetent and irresponsible goverment sector in the Govt bodies of India , The Hydefabad Passport services do not issue a meagre Police Clearance Certificate for some it takes months some did not recieve even before 6 months where as in other cities like bangalore which issues in 3 to 4 working days .

Its a matter of shame that due to this neglience...
