PNB — Fraud of Rs,25000/- due to bank employee

Sir,

I am one of saving a/c ([protected]) holder of Punjab National Bank, Model Town-III, Delhi-110009. The forgery of Rs.25000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) has been done with me due to negligent and carelessness of Bank Employee


Sir, storey is that Mr. Ashish (Fraud) has called me by the mobile number [protected], [protected] for Personal Loan of amount 2.00 lacks. He was told me that he is working with ICICI Bank. After discussion regarding loan rate, EMI etc. He has collected my ID proof, Address proof and six cheques of Punjab National Bank (Cheque numbers are 676988, 676990, 676986, 676987, 676991, 676989) on 13 July 2009. I have written “NOT FOR USE” on the left side of cheques and also cross the cheque on left top corner “A/c Payee Only” for my safe side.

On 15-July-2009, I came to know that one of my cheque no. 676986 has been withdrawn at the name of Sunil Kumar for Rs.25000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) from my main bank branch, Model Town-III, Delhi-9. Next day I visited the bank and came to know that the cheque has been withdrawn as a normal cash payment, I totally shocked that how is it possible? Because I was wrote “not for use” and “a/c payee” on the cheque. I told the bank employee to show me the cheque. When he showed me the cheque, I was again shocked because he cut the cheque from left side and removed the corner of cheque where I was mentioned “not for use” & “A/c payee”. Mr. Sunil Kumar (Fraud) wrote his name on the cheque in pay to column and filled the amount of Rs.25000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only). He did three times my duplicate signature because luckily my original signature was not matched and also all three signature not matched with each other. Inspite of these entire things, bank employee release the payment. I don’t know on which basis he release the payment to him, signature not matched, cheque’s corner is totally damaged and cheque length is not full.

On the same day I have given the complaint to the name of Bank Manager in the branch. But the Manager, Chief Manager wants to ignore their employee negligence and carelessness vice-versa they asked me why did you give blank cheque to unknown person? I was told them that I have not given blank cheque, I have write “not for use” and “a/c payee” on left side the cheque but he has removed that part from my cheque and make that blank. He (fraud) assured me that “this cheque only for ECS clearance so that’s why no need to write in “Pay to”. First time I was applied the personal loan that’s why I followed what he said. But this excuse is not favor bank employee negligent and carelessness because cheque corner is damaged and signature is not matched and how can he accept the cheque with four signatures which is not matched with each other and cheque length is not full.

I have already write to their head office and higher authorities and RBI but I did not gent any response from them.

I don't know what I need to do

Can somebody help me where I need to go and how can I file court case against them.

-Mr. Sachdeva of PNB (DN-153000), D-Block, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi-110057 has given me wrong MICR nbr as 011 24093 when I visited the branch personally.

-When I submitted the same MICR nbr to my office, i.e., Air India, fortunately, the dealing assistant detected the error in MICR nbr and asked me to reconfirm the same from the bank, which I did.

-Through Ms. Goswami of the Vasant Vihar Branch, I contacted Mr. sachdeva on phone and asked him the correct MICR nbr, after quoting the whole incident. This time, Mr. Sachdeva gave me a new MICR nbr as[protected].

-I submitted the same to my office, as I happended to be in my accounts department while conversation with Mr. Sachdeva on phone. However, this time also my accounts official told me that this MICR nbr is also not correct.

-I called up Mr. Sachdeva again to find out the correct MICR nbr. He gave me the same MICR nbr as[protected]. I asked him to find out the correct MICR nbr from a cheque book of the bank as my accounts official was dead sure of the mistake in the MICR nbr given by the bank.

-After referring to a cheque book of the bank, Mr.Sachdeva finally gave me the correct MICR nbr as[protected]after being prompted by me as the same was told by Air India accounts official).

-I am sorry to mention this incident as a casual attitude of such a reputed bank could have caused a great problem if the mistake would not have been detected by Air India Accounts official well in time.

-My point of contention is that when I objected to the misleading information given by Mr.Sachdeva, in stead of accepting his mistake he rebounced by saying that he was never wrong and I cound not hear him properly. It is ridiculous.
i want to know about my account balance in Punjab National Bank. Can u provide me this detail promptly.

I m rajendra kumar...hv open account in pnb last 3 years at rani bazar bikaner RAJ but due to some reason i not use the account 1 year...now i diposit 1000/- rs...but as i use my atm card then a error can that your card has blocked...
but as i use atm for balance inquiry ..it works
so sir please tell me soluction...
