I have applied for postal Identity Card on 16.03.2010 Verification has been over in the mid of April but till date i have not got any response from the Postal Department. My Application number is 139781. I want to know whether i will get the Card or not. If i am eligible when will get the card. Please take some action regarding this

I had posted a very important document on 23/04/2010 from Lucknow to Thailand(Bangkok) .It was to reach within 7-10 days but unfortunately it has not reached the destined location .My Tracking number is EE[protected]IN.I had checked through your tracking website that it was packed for DELHI FGN from LUCKNOW SPC on 23/04/2010 but further detail is not available.

I sent a money order of Rs 5000 from Gurgaon post office on 27th January 2010 to my maid’s village in Jharkhand.
I got an acknowledgement from Jharkhand post office dated 13 Feb 2010 with the name of my maid’s brother written on it by the post master. It had no signature.The money was not given to the receipient.
We have been following up with the Jharkhand post office as well as Gurgaon post office since then.
On advise of Gurgaon post office I sent complaint letters through registered post twice to the Jharkhand post office but got no response from them.
In Jharkhand my maid’s family is visiting the post office every alternate day since past 3.5 months and they always get to hear a standard response – “ come after 2 days.”
This is the hard earned money and a very high amount for the poor family of my maid.
I don't know whether writing on this forum helps, but I am doing it and won’t let my money go off to crooks.
I will fight my case till I get justice.

I booked one article at Gurgaon H.O. on 26/04/2010. My article no is “EH[protected]IN”. Speed post tracking system shows that Bhubaneswar office received and article bagged on 29/04/2010, but we have not yet received article in Banamalipur. I’m not getting why it is stuck up in Bhubaneswar. Please do needful.

An IMO Remittance of Rs. 4000 made from Andheri west HO (Mumbai), dated 27th April, 2010 to Gopalganj (841428). On 28th my parents reached Gopalgang HO for receive the amount however post office staff didn't entertain payment request saying that the person handling payment/remittance has for gone for 10 days training & payment will be done only when the person resumes office.
During last remittance the same post office staffs have returned recipient threes before they made the payment. My parents are 70 plus & do need to travel 25 KM to reach post office. Pl look into this painful negligence & insincerity of post office.

I had booked an eMoney Order, in order to urgently send money to my family, on 22nd of April 2010.
The tracking page of India Post shows the follwoing records / information, against the eMO PIN number:

1. MO booked at Janpath PO, New Delhi, on 22/04/2010, at 14:21:22 Hours,

2. MO Received at central Indian Post server on 22/04/2010, at 17:01:05 Hours,

3. MO Received at the receiving Post Office on 23/04/2010, at 11:24:24 Hours and

4. Pay-slip Printed out at the receiving PO on 23/04/2010, at 13:20:14 Hours.

Today is 30th of April (8th day from 23rd), and the money is yet to be delivered.

Is this a case of public money being used by unscrupulous Government Employees as short term finance?

I have sent a registered parcel to Pakistan on 12th April 2010 and the guy at the post office said it will take around 15 days to get the parcel delivered however it has not been delivered. Can someone please track and let me know where the parcel is now?

The registration number is CP[protected]IN and it has been dispatched from Bangalore Post Office, Museum Road - 560025.

i was supposed to receive my passport from the reigonal passport office,kolkata. it has been despatched on[protected].and the registration number is SP002402.
I was supposed to deliver it to my travel agent by 26-04-10 but this delay can lead to a loss of an essential opportunity . please help.

I have send three Cargo from Amsterdam to Hyderabad through TNT Post , I have recieved two Cargo boxes but one I have still not recieved even after 3 months.

The status on website shows lying at customs from 4th Jan 2010 on TNT post website. The tracking number for consignment is cc[protected]nl

Indian Postal Service has a system of tracking speed-posts. It can be done by the following ways;

1) Online with the tracker available on the web-site
2) via sms
3) by calling speed post office.

All three systems are a complete failure. The online tracker fails as the server is always unresponsive. the customer has to keep waiting for hours but there is no respite. On trying the sms service, we are requested to sms our speed post number to a code, but messages sent to the no so provided 55352 are always undelivered.

lastly, the phone lines for the delhi speed post office are always busy, the speed post officer has a designated mobile number, [protected] which is always out-of-coverage area. After several attempts, if someone does pick up the phone, the refuse to help siting server problems and are extremely rude and dismissive.

the entire exercise of having a tracking system is defeated as the customer is left without information, and is extremely frustrated with the delays and lax attitude.

I wish the Indian Postal Service, being the prime postal service of this country brings efficiency in its operations. Adopting technology is one thing but failing to make it work is really unacceptable . The behavior of staff is appalling . The service has a standard which is disgraceful.

i have sent my documents to Philadelphia USA via regestered post with acknowledgement receipt no. AIR-RL A 9896 on 25th march 2010.
Its been 25 days over and my documenta have not been reached.
If my documents doesnot reach there , i will not be able to apply for medical universities there in USA
Kindly tell me the status reporet of my letter as early as possible on my email id.

A home study package ( containing Educational CDs and Manuals- Ref.No.CJ[protected]US) was mailed to me 2 months ago from California,USA. It was detained by O/O Postmaster General (foreign mails)- Mumbai- for two weeks and by Postal Appraising Department, for another two weeks. All the documents were submitted and the package was released, however the local Post office in Himayatnagar has detained the package and is asking for a ransom money of Rs.11,360 to release it.

I am a student and need this study material, how can I afford to pay Rs.11,360 to the local post officials while the whole package is only worth Rs.1000? I wonder what are they charging me for? I assume that the parcel has been severely damaged and torn apart by the post officials already.

Note: All the letters and receipts are available in my possession.

I am the undersigned, Jyoti Desai. Would like to informed you that my father & mother Mr. Thakorbhai Naik & Mrs. Nirupama T. Naik had a MIS A/c in Borivali West Post Office bearing MIS Saving A/c No. 256839 & 256840.

As they both were pass away on 20.10.07 & 05.08.2005 & I am the only daughter & legal hired, have completed all the formalities with post office & submitted my papers on 5.11.09 but paper were returned me on 10.12.09 saying that nominee name is written but not properly signed by A/C holder. I agree for that. For that postmaster & post agent both are that much responsible.

I requested them ke on the basis of last claim can’t you approve this but they didn’t agree & told me to fill up death claim form so again after completing all necessary formality resubmitted on 9.1.10 but till date my claim is not settled.

I personally visited to the Borivali post office thrice but once the concern person Mr. Mahadik was not available as gone on leave so no one to answer. The second time he told us to send in 2-3 days time & finally when I call on 2nd feb. he told I have forwarded today to Borivali head office, now we don’t know the how much time they take. I called Borivali head office on 9.2.2010 & spoke to mrs. Kaur on tel no. 28678814 & she say within one week work is to be done but
15 days pass then also nothing done so again call then I came to know that my paper sent to divisional office at smata nagar, kandivali (e), so i call samta nagar post office & spoke with Ms. Parachi, she inform me within 15days your work will be done & u get “DO” but till feb. end nothing came so on march 3rd I personally visited samta nagar post office & meet prachi & mr. oza & again they ensure me ke within 15 days work will be done, I have put up the paper to Mr. Kadam & as soon as he will sanction paper u will get “DO’. I am waiting for the same but it pass again 15 days & nothing came so I again call & spoke with prachi so she said not your paper will go GPO & from there u get DO. Every time when I call they give some & other excuses & finally we came to know that paper are still lying with them only so again on 9.4.10 I & my husband went to meet mr. oza & ms. Prachi & they told us that we are typing your letter only & today after taking approval of Mr. Kadam we will proceed further. After almost 15 days passes so today again I call Mr. Oza but with regret I have to say till date nothing has done & they are giving same statement.

We are fed up & very much disturbed the time taken in the procedure. Why we customer have to suffer so much inspite of investing such a hard money with post office.

A legal letter has been sent vide registered post dated 27.01.2010 via India Post with register number 1592 From Chandanagar to Vizag Tagarapuvalasa, there is no means to track these deliveries and acknowledgement due is till date not received. As these are legal paper which have not reached in time we are liable to pay the party the damages incurred. Pls. sort this out asap

Myself Gaurav Sidhu, resident of F-24/7 Sector-3 Rohini Delhi 110085. I had applied for some of the Government jobs, of which applications and call letters are sent and received by using "India Post".

The last exam I applied for was of "The South Indian Bank", of which written examination was on 11 April 2010. The call letter for same was dispatched by the bank on 8 April 2010 by India Post's premium service "Speed Post". The letter was thrown today i.e. 13 April 2010 at my residence by the Post Master of our Area. None of the family member was neither asked to receive mail or asked for signature on receiving Speed Post mail.

I request you to please take some corrective and strict actions against the faulty staff of India Post in over area. Its not been the first time with me but the limit has been crossed now. I have mailed the same to http://www.consumercomplaints.in.

Adityapuram pin code 312622 post office officer is not attanding any work after 2:00PM and telling that come bebore 1:30PM and locked the post office at 2:00PM for lunch and after lunch is at 2:30PM he remains unavailable from post office.
