[Resolved]  Reliance Big Tv — Bad support after sale

I have purchased Reliance BIG TV before a month.After purchasing I was told that installation would happen in 48 hours.
But it does not happened in that duration.After that I have called their customer support and regiesterd complaint. During complaint registraion I have been told that in next 2 hours their technical support team will conatct me and will do installation.
But technical team contacted me on next day and done installation.
Really a bad support system.No fullfillment of Commitments.

Even we have the worst experience with Reliance company always.Be it be Mobile service or Big TV.It must be renamed as " BIG TROUBLE" instead of "BIG TV".They never attend the issues or troubles of a customer after sale.They promise and lot and deliver nothing.I wonder how they manage to survive even after so many complaints.They even charge more than they commit. Its sad that we are caught in the trap of reliance again.
They must be penalized for their man handling and loss of all the customers.Their toll free nos never connect so that they do not have to listen to our complaints.Poor customer service reps gets all the abuse from irate people like us.

In my big tv adopter some problem was there, so i complaint to my local distributor, he submitted my adopter and as per his statement he send to Dist.distributor and he gave me 3 days to repair but i still waiting for my adopter i didnt watch my TV since last 18 days.my local distributor is saying Dist.Distributor is not picking the phone and not replying.
according to customer care we recharged from 300 Rs.I am really fed up by Big TV service.Still i did not get any call from reliance office or technical department.
i am providing information about all-

I am a subscriber from Bangalore with DTH card no.[protected] . I also faced the same problem.
Initially when I taken the new connection... They made a charge of 132/- in my account stating that they provided the extra cable, with out my knowledge. I reside in an individual house and there is no way the extra charge required and not even have any dicussion as such.

Second, when I called to customer to recharge and activate the kids channel then I realised that my account have "-132" balance which they charged against the cable. I gave a complaint and they waived off and confirmed that the balance is 0. I recharged with 300 rupees to activate the kids channel. I called customer care to activate the kids channel but the balance is 168 rupees instead of 300. They stated that they didn't accept the complaint on cable thing. I gave a complaint second time. They noted the same and said will get back to me.

Just today 18th Feb 2011, I recharged to renew the same for the next 1 year and I called them, I realised that the balance is 10/-. But I am supposed to have around 250. When I called them, they stated that the earlier complaint has closed and they didn't revert back the 132. Still I need to have another 118 rupees. Then they stated that Gemini Movies is a paid channel for the last 3 months and deducted 51 rupees but I don't have any notification on the same.

Still 67 rupees is difference. For that they said the month calculation happens for every 30 days and there are 3 extra days as 3 months got 31 days and for another 3 days extra. There is no way they mentioned that the billing calculation happens on the days basis. Even when the scheme is getting taken they mentioned that it's free for 5 months in written. The same thing is annual package also stating 12 months for the payment of 10 months. .

So now, 3rd time I gave a complain about the cable charges and the Complaint No.[protected] . I am not sure whether they will really look into this complaint.

I am sharing this information so that no one should get in to this trap in future by this Reliance Big TV people in future.

Reliance Big TV — wrong information in purchasing time

It is a wost service is BIG TV SERVICE. Because the marketting peoples are cheaters. installation peoples also. I am a Big TV customer. Iam holding last five years in this connection with not happy till now. 2 years back launch the complain, there is no responce for 10 days. Every time customer care tell me 48 hrs. After 10 days I have put cable TV connection. After one year Some person calling for Recharge your Big TV. 6 month in ideal. After that I get connectivity. This year Jan 19 th i was shifted my house and approch the agent for shifting. He told me that will be charged for Rs 450. Then we will change the address also. I was agreed and gave 450 Rs and he installed my place. After 2 days some errore displaying and some channels are comming and most of the channels are showing error. Last one moth i was making complaints every 2days gape. There is no reply till now. So I dissired to go to other provider. There is bad experience in Big TV. Now I am apply AIRTEL DTH
I am a customer of BigTV since more than 1 yr with parent & child connection. However, I have been cheated twice while recharging. Once when I recharged for 3 months, they deducted it monthly and finished it in two&half months. Secondly, I charged for 6 months, they deducted full amount even for child connection. Even after various complaints, they did not correted giving excuse of the computerised accounting system. So better to be causious before opting fot this connection.

Reliance Big TV — Non Installation of Device

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Rupa Chanda R/O E-1142 Netaji Nagar New Delhi-110023, have given the cheque (Cheque # 145568) on 24th July 2010 for Reliance Big TV connection to reliance Big TV representative Akhilesh Prasad. Even though cheque has already been cleared on 29th Jul 2010, but I am still waiting for Reliance Big TV to be installed at my Residence address mentioned above. Since then I have called up Reliance Customer Service number of times to get the status of the connection and every time got the different answer.

Even though the commitment has been made by the Reliance Representative that nwithin 2 days connection will be installed, but it’s already over 8 months since I am waiting for the Reliance Big TV connection to be installed. And because of this I am going through Mental Agony, because of not getting proper reply from Reliance representatives.

Kindly Look into the matter and intimate me by when can I get the connection installed at my residence
On 14th feb 2011 i had again reacharged my gold plan plus marathi for full year, on 25th feb 2011 as i had no signal, I called customer care at 3 pm, and for the first time came to know that i had to intimate them by calling that i have recharged and tell them please activate my account, NO ONE TELL YOU THIS HAS TO BE DONE NOR HE LEAFLET SAYS SO, But at same time they say two things my account is not activated but the amount in my account showed Rs 2474.93 then too they told me to pay more Rs70 and call to activate, so after recharging for Rs 70 at 6pm, i called and spoke to the CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE SAIBABU and he gave me confirmation that my account is activated and now on 18th march 2011 i got a sms that my account is having no suffiiciant bal amt, and after calling i spoke to Kamalesh and Hitesh respectivly to which they told me i have a balnace of Rs 2370 plus but my account is not actived yet and transfered me to a senior executive Supriya she tell me to pay more Rs112, what i dont understand is due to the fault of their customer care executive SAIBABU who due to his negligence didnot feed on computer my information of activated account, why should i suffer and pay again and again, when i toldher the same and asked her for refund, or rectify and i will complain higher ups or goto comssumer forum she been so arrogant tells me to do whatever i can,
My amount from Rs 2550 for whole year is going on deducting even after calling to activate,
I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME COMPLAINT BUT RELIANCE IS NOT DOINGA ANYTHING ABOUT IT AS
The Reliance company policy is to cheat people, What i dont understand is once when they receive the amount and they know i have paid why i need to inform them, agian after infoming how would i know that my account is activated as they dont intimate back to us, OR IS THIS JUST ANOTHER OF RELIANCE POLICY OF MONEY MAKING AND CHEATING POLICY biBIT BY BIT, I HAVE TOTAL 4 CONNECTION 3 OF RELIANCE BIG TV AND ONE OF TATA SKY OF WHICH I HAVE NO COMPLAINT FOR TATA

Reliance Big TV — Bad after sales service

Very Bad after sales services from Reliance Big TV customer care. One executive Mobile no.[protected]Shetwta) called and told to handover the Set top box and remote they will be refund the deposit amount within 3 days. One Mr. Mallikarjun Mobile No. [protected] taken the set top box on 8/3/2011 and after 2 weeks no refund given they are not answering the phone.

Take stringent action against them
hello evryone i am a custemer reliance bigtv.i am totally frustrated by this dth company. I applied for hd dvr as a existing.after i deposite 3600 rupee the custmercare team told me that in between 72 hour hddvr installed at your home.but 7days gone nothing a single call from the dvr installer. Reliance Big TV — members login facility not available now

PREVIOUSLY I'VE GOT MEMBER LOGIN FACILITY IN RELIANCE BIG TV WEBSITE. BUT NOW I'VE NOT SEEN THE SAME. I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS FACILITY ABRUBTLY DISPENSED. IT WAS HELPFUL TO ME TO KNOW THE BALANCE OF MY A/C AND RECHARGE THE SAME. PL LET ME KNOW THIS FACILITY IS STILL AVAILABLE OR NOT.

Reliance Big TV — Negligence

I purchased a Onida LCD TV on[protected] for which they provided me a discount card ([protected]) entitling me for Reliance Digital TV HD connection and one month of Diamond Pack free. Since the day we received the discount card, we have been submitting requests every week with the customer care[protected]. But till date we have neither received the Digital TV HD connection nor received any kind of follow ups on the issue.

Reliance is the Biggest Cheater ever made!!! I had transferred my Big TV connection within the city and have refilled the amount for relocation. On the concern date the technician came and installed the Dish. Later I got a message saying that I need to submit 650 INR. When I enquired they told the cable and the connector is changed. I already informed them that I have all the stuff and just the installation is needed. After that whenever I called the customer care I get odd responses. The people there are totally confused and dont know how to support. Most of the time they will put you on hold for 30 minutes so that the call get disconnect automatically. I have paid all the money for relocation and recharged my account as well, but my account is suspended for last 5 days for the nasty reason stating cable and connector is changed. This is the new technique of reliance to make money.

Please dont get the Reliance Big TV even if they are gonno give it for free !!! After installation they will screw up your entire happiness...
