I HAD TAKEN 3 RELIANCE BIG TV (BIG ONLY IN NAME) CONNECTIONS IN SEPTEMBER,2008
AND RECENTLY GOT IT RECHARGED IN SEPTEMBER 2009. I HAVE SUBMITTED THE WHOLE PAYMENT FOR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FOR ALL THE THREE CONNECTIONS COMBINED. IT WORKED OK FOR TWO MONTHS IN ALL THE THREE CONNECTIONS. BUT THEN FROM 15TH NOV.2009 , IN THE LAST/THIRD CONNECTION IT STARTED SHOWING PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO CHANNEL IN EVERY CHANNEL . THE FIRST TWO ARE WORKING PROPERLY BUT THE THIRD ONE CONTINUED LIKE THIS. I WAITED FOR A DAY/TWO. THEN I TRIED TO THE TOLL FREE NUMBER. THEY SAID IT WOULD RESUME IN 4 HOURS. BUT 24 HRS. PASSED NOTHING HAPPENED, SINCE THEN CALLING TO CUSTOMER CARE TOLL FREE NO. HAS BEEN MY DAILY DUTY. THEY DIVERT TO ANOTHER NUMBER AND ASK TO KEEP THE RED LIGT ON AND AGAIN DIVERT TO ANOTHER NUMBER TAKING AT LEAST HALF AN HOUR DAILY. AS IF I HAVE NO OTHER JOB. AGAIN THE OTHER DAY WHEN I TELL ABOUT MY COMPLAINT THEY SAY NO COMPLAINT HAS BEEN REGISTERED, AGAIN THE WHOLE PROCESS IS REPEATED . THIS HAS HAPENED NOT ONLY TWICE-THRICE BUT REGULARLY SINCE 15TH NOV. NOBODY IS THERE TO ATTEND OUR PROBLEM ONCE THE ANNUAL FEES IS PAID. I HAD TAKEN THE CONNECTION HAVING FAITH IN BIG NAME OF RELIANCE COMPANY. BUT LAST 11 DAYS HAVE BEEN A NUISANCE I AM BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST TV CALLING THE CUSTOMER CARE DAILY TWO-TWO TIMES BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TILL DATE. BUT NOW I DEEPLY REGRET HAVING GOT OUR CABLE CONNECTION CUT AT LEAST THERE WERE PEOPLE GIVING MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND WE KNEW WHOM TO CONTACT. HERE IN RELIANCE BIG TV WE EVEN DONT KNOW WHOM TO CONTACT ND IF WE DO THEY MISGUIDE US SO MUCH. SHAME ON THE OWNER AND HIS SERVICE. I WOULD SUGGEST TO WHOLE INDIA SAY NO TO BIG TV. ITS A !!!

WORST OF ALL AFTER MAKING ALL THE PAYMENTS THEY SOMETIMES SAY YOUR ACCOUNT IS LESS.

Here I would like to mention that a number of my friends who were keen on BIG TV backed out on realising that this particular channel is missing. They opted for 'AIRTEL' instead and are happy with it.

Initially please subscribe to channel message was being displayed now its just blank. Now
My request is that please let me know, whether u r going to correct the system services or not. If yes, when? Otherwise i intend throwing away your dish antenna & getting some other system installed. It will be too sad, if I lose my money & faith in the most trusted name in the industry.

I am preethi nair. smart card no:[protected]. Big tv in the name of Harish Nair (my husband). We have
forwarded a request no:[protected] on 4th march for reinstalling the
big tv in our new place in cochin. but and we have recharged
350/- for that. Now every day my balance is getting reduced. I lost money from 950Rs. to 800/- Rs. but no body yet given a response
regarding the request. Please suggest me what to do . Why no body is responding from Cochin? What is the problem? i forwarding this case consumer court.

    Sir/Madam,

    we bouot six month ght a Reliance BIg TV set up box on 16/09/08 and got six month free subscription after six month (in March 2009)I renewed my subscrption with Rs. 200/- and at that Time I was told for yearly subscrption for Rs. 2162. I took decision to renew my subscription for one year and rest amount Rs. 1962/- I paid through credit card and made it confirmed from the customer care of Reliance Big TV and now on 08/11/09 after seven months (approx) my services have been barred and a massage flashed on screen that my subscription amount has been over and I have to renew it further. I called the customer care again on 08/11/09 after keeping me on hold for 23.27 minutes, executive disconnected the phone with out any reply.

    Further I request you to kindly look into the matter and do a favour.

      hello, i am saurav shrivastava , i am having coneection of Big TV and my smart card number is[protected].i live in kamothe,near mansarovar station, navi mumbai. i have requested to relocat my BIG TV connection from jaipur to mumbai. i called at big tv call center to know the procedure they told me to recharge my account with rupees 350 for relocation but i recharged witrh 400 rupees. i have taken all the material like dish and set up box etc.but they have deducted more than 350 rupees due to that my account balance shows negative balance 335 rupees.
      i have registered for complaint three times since 6/11/09 but your customer care executive(amrita shwale) told me your complaint has been close due to not a valid reason again and again they registered complaint but not providing the service. please help me out from this problem.

          Ten days back (on 21/10/2009) one of the marketing agents from APPCO, Mr. avinash came to us and explained us about an inroductory offer to give Reliance Big TV connection and a took a cheque for Rs. 1490/- in favour APPCO. Since then, there is no information either from APPCO or Big TV. When I tried to contact on Big TV customer care number, it keeps us waiting but never was I answered by a customer care representative. I was on phone for at leat 2 hrs but of no use.If you can kindly advise me who I should contact here in delhi to get this issue solved. It is hurting when money taken and there is no response whatsoever.The cheque is already encashed. Even the numbers given by APPCO ([protected], [protected]) are never answered. Please advise me and look into this issue.I hope I will get an early response.

            I want to inform yhe higher authority of Reliance Big TV, that my L N B {or may be L M B} is now worst away.I informed the customer care ( on 21/10/09 ) and they assured me that ttheir engeenier would meet me soon to solve my problems.But till now I am not able to find anybody for the company.From two days latter after my complante I regularly informed the customer care but my plea is invain.If the service remains the same I will surrender the dish and demorolize other person not to take the "big tv".Now it is happenig the 2nd time.Because my account is dedacting if I shall not get the dedacting accounts I definately will go to the CONSUMER COURT.Actually is not the money all about. It is the 2nd time.And the service man now wanting money from me, but why I shall pay them because I am in the warrenty period and the installation date is 10/11/08.I will be very happy if any action taken by the higher authority.

            Reliance Big TV DTH Services — Non replacement of Faulty LNB

            Dear Sir,
            I am a Reliance Big TV DTH customer since 31 May 2009 and I am facing trouble to view proper service the causes are improper/poor signal quality or faulty LNB. During Aug 2009 at least seven days the Big TV services are disrupted in spite of repeated request to customer care of Big TV through telephone or e-mails. They always make excuse or apologizes but the problems not kill within the stipulated time fame. Now once again Big TV DTH services are disrupted due to LNBF faulty since 10 Dec 2009 and I have complaint vide my Service ID No[protected] dt 12 Dec 2009,[protected] and[protected] dt 23 Dec 2009. Now I have send an e-mail to remained them vide my e-mail dated 29 Dec 2009 but no any response was being taken by the Big TV DTH Customer service. Please advice me accordingly.

              I bought the reliance big tv connection in july 2009, in october 2009, the signal was lost, on call in customer care they banged the pohone on my face 5 to 6 times which is quite bad on the part of reliance which is a big organisation dealing with all products in india. Reliance cheating us...
              Now i am planning to throw this BIGTV in drainage ( even it should not be used by others also) and i want to continue my cable tv connection. The worst part on this that they had deducted an amount of that day on which they had not provided the service and informed me that the amount will be deducted from yr account further even if they are not providing the service.

                Dear BIG TV

                Hi this is Nitin Saluja i have 2 connections A/C. No.[protected] and 2nd is[protected] such a pathetic service never expected. a complaint reference I.D. [protected] and following the customer care from last 5-6 days but not getting any proper solution every person say different need a solution to activate my connection.

                So writing you in detail once again these connections was taken last year at same time, same add., and on same name. so having a thought of dual connection of same service provider to have a benefits accordingly but instead following your customer care to recharge my account and that time got to know the benefit of having dual connection i.e. (MULTI CONNECTION) is not updated in your records and even I was also not aware of it got to know at the time wanted to recharge it as I recharge it for whole year to get discounts but I don’t think reliance BIGTV wanted to give services to their customers. The 1st day when I called I had talk with one of your senior customer care executive Name told Mr. Baljeet Singh after waiting for a log hold and aprox. 30min.s discussion told me within 24 hrs. it will be updated in our records that you will have Multi Connection and have the benefits for the same and apologize for the inconvenience caused. So i said Ok coz I was having 3-4 days left till my services was activated and he also told we will inform you or sms you with in 2 hrs for the same and thereafter not getting any response till next approx. 30-32 hrs. I myself call again in BIGTV customer care got to know and was shocked that complaint was not taken in your records and, So no action has been taken. Now what kind of commitment should I expect from Customer care then again I had a long discussion and registered a complaint at that time I got reference ID. ([protected]) and told to rectify it within 24hrs and my services will not be deactivated till that. but no action taken even that and result I got is deactivation of my services because I was waiting to take the benefit of multi connection but the services was terminated as the time is over for my services. Now again on 21st October had a discussion and this time your executive said that No. action will be taken until unless you will not recharge it. What the hell should I expect from a customer care of BIGTV name bigtv but services such a pathetic as I had taken a cable connection from a colony never expected.

                So now writing all details, Kindly give the solution as services is also deactivated, Kindly activate it and update in your records for multi connection, So I could recharge it other wise I don’t have any other option to change my services to other service provider but not there where customer care give miss-commitment, no response to customer, bearing with disconnection of TV network even taking action before due date.

                Kindly revert or call or activate my services and update your records as soon as possible.........

                RELIANCE BIG T.V. — TO ACTIVATE MY BIG TV CONNECTION

                Dear,
                I am RAJVEER SINGH costumer of BIG T.V. My smart card no .[protected] /[protected] . At 18/10/2008 My big tv, subcration was over then i m recharge my both smart .Then i was make call at costumer care to Active my both smart card then he say sir right now i m not able to active your smart card because over server is not working so make a call after half n hour .On that day -

                On that day to right now i m make more then 100 call to your costumer care they always say call after half n hour .

                Now you say what i m doing . I am going to Indian consumer for um .

                Reliance Big TV — Apathetic Service

                I have taken a Reliance Big TV connection on the 21st of May 2010. On the same day, within 2 hours of activation, my connection went off saying "Signal not found". I immediately registered a complaint (no :[protected] and the technician came the next day and took the entire day (more than 7 hours) to attempt at resolving it.

                This was after us calling him at least 10 times to keep checking where they were. Also, he said this was a temporary fix and that he would be coming on Wednesday 23rd June to resolve it properly. After this, he hasn't come to our place today and has not answered our calls in spite of more than 30 calls.

                In spite of calling up the helpline and emailing them 3 times, there has been no response. Not even a phone call, just an automated reply.

                This is pathetic service and I hope no one else opts for this DTH option, especially when they claim to be the "Best DTH service in India"

                i buy 2 set top box same time & installation on same time within 5
                minite activation and 1 dish but not my big tv is multipal connection it is

                  The company got my cell no. from some source and have started sending a large no. of sales promotional sms's any time. I am a responsible official (General Manager) in a large company. I have to conduct meetings and attend to cell phone calls. I had rang up Big TV call centre requesting them to stop these SMS's but they bluntly declined my request. I contacted my cell phone connection provider Vodaphone but they said that they cannot block these messages.

                    There was some discrepancy in the way I'm being billed. I tried calling customercare number and got and automated message that smartcard number[protected] is invalid?

                    I need to resolve this issue asap.

                      I had subscribed to RELIANCE BIG TV 8 months ago. They have been problematic even since beginning.
                      Customer service is non existant. And now last month when my subscription was expired I went to buy a recharge card, I was surprised that no shopkeeper is selling its card.
                      They say that demand is almost non existant. When I recharged the card after paying through Online banking, the subscription expired after 15 days. When (Finally after trying to connect to free customer service for last 4 days, finally connected to Mumbai STD no.) I called their paid std no to Mumbai they informed that THE RELIANCE BIG TV IS CHARGING YOU PER DAY EVEN IF THE SERVICES ARE TERMINATED.
                      IF YOUR SERVICES ARE TERMINATED SINCE LAST ONE OR TWO MONTHS, DO NOT RECHARGE, OTHERWISE, FIRST THEY WILL DEDUCT FOR THE LAST TWO MONTHS, THEN THEY WILL CONTINUE YOUR SERVICE IF YOU HAVE PAID MONEY FOR MORE THAN TWO MONTHS.
                      IN NUTSHELL, THEY CHARGE YOU FOR NO SERVICE PROVIDED AT ALL.
                      EVEN NOW IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO SUBSCRIBE THE SERVICES, THEY ARE WELCOME IN MY BOAT . ENJOY PAYING CHARITY TO THE BIGGEST COMPANY TO MAKE IT BIGGER.

                        Sir,

                        This is a complain against BIG TV.( Smart Card No.[protected] I bought it in September-2008.After 1 year , i.e. September-2009, I recharged my account with annual package. Since 4th October , there was no signal in TV. I registered a complain for the same. The complain was resolved from their side, without actually providing the resolution to me. My big tv account was auto debited by Rs. 175. I re- logged a fresh complain. This time, Big TV's engineer came . He replaced the Set top box , stating that theres a problem in the set top box. He said I will be charged Rs. 800 from my Big TV account , and since he has replaced the set top box, there won't be any service charge ( Rs 175). The set top box replacement which I got was a second hand CHINESE model with no warranty. I did not get any receipt for the same.
                        My TV started working. It worked for half a day. Then it went blank again. When I tried customer care, it said my balance is negative.So I need to recharge my account in order to continue service.
                        Total deductions to get my TV activated = 175+175+800+additional 350=1500
                        I should have gone for a new connection with a ethical service provider like tata , dish. My mistake , I chose BIG TV. It has harassed me since past 1 week. Don't know how to act. Please look into the matter.
                        My Issues:
                        1. Rs 175 per visit for Big TV engineer.
                        2. Replacement Set Top box( second hand) for Rs 800.
                        3. Even if they charge Rs 175 per visit, wrong deduction without any visit.
                        4. Worst customer care . No accountability. Unlimited waiting time.
                        Expensive Deal Big TV. Beware friends. My advice: Stay away from Big TV.

                          I purchased Reliance Big TV a month back and since last one week my big tv remote is not working.So i called the customer care for one of my most horrible experiences.A person with a name Gaurav Kumar attended my call . I told him my problem then he asked me for the Card No . I asked him to hold for a while to so that I get the card no and he asked me to call after 15 minutes after getting the card no, and that is when I asked him " cannot you hold for 2 seconds".After i gave him the card no he told me that it takes 350 Rs to replace the remote.I told him that my big tv is under warranty and there is no water or physical damage.I asked him to give me my complain number .He told me to call after 15 minutes his server is not working but I am sure he was just making an excuse so that he dos not have to work it is somone else who will attend me in the next call.And that is what Big TV is .And now you know how BIG a problem it is.
                          My Customer No is[protected]. I made the payment and got connection by mid Sep. 09. It is not working for the past four days and when I made the complaint to Call center the reply was routine mentioning that it will be restored within 24 hrs, but after 24 hrs. it is impossible to get the Call center operator. 'Reply is that all operators are busy'. I sent a mail to regoster my complaint and the reply is that I should register the complaint by phone. There is no reply from any nof the nos. who did the installation and from the Net.

                          IT APPEARS TO BE THE BIGGEST FRAUD !!!

                          I WOULD PREFER TO GET THE REFUND BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PROCEED. I THINK A ASSOCIATION IS TO BE FORMED AND ACTION TAKEN..
                          Hi,

                          I had purchased 1 year pack last year. It got over today. for that i recharged my account "[protected]" with RS 650. Just next moment when i checked my account it turned out that they had deducted RS 11 because of negative balance. After 1 hour when i checked they have again deducted RS 11. When i called Customer care they said because of the Elite pack and English pack they have deducted they money. When i checked my Big Tv service i was not able to view they channels. When i said this this to the Customer care executive "Named : Praveen" he said to wait. when he told me to check i was able to see they channels. Then i came to know what he did. He Not only activated that two packs he also activated the Total Pack also i.e South Special pack. When i asked him why he has done it like that he told that it happens automatically. I think before doing that they should have told that it will happen. My money got deducted for that pack (South special + Elite + English) and money got deducted. Actaully i wanted to subscribe for some other pack. But that executive is not ready to accept his mistake or Refund me back the money so that i can subscribe some other pack. This is really bad. This is a Fraud by the Customer Care executive as well as Company. Please help me out how to approach Consumer Forum or any other services so that proper step can be taken by me.

FOR ID NO[protected] . NOW HOW MUCH MORE TIME THEY WANT TO SORT IT OUT ????

                              Hi,

                              I'm a bigtv customer since last one year. After completing my 1 yr of so-called free subscription, I've been struggling hard to change my package. I've tried calling their customer service ( worst and most pathetic in the market) about 40-50 times in last 5 days but whenever i'm lucky to talk to their executives, i get a response that their servers are down. In fact they have purposefully closed down their toll free line and i've nearly spent 500 rs worth of calls just to talk to their illiterate executives. Few times they just start taking the complaint and then hang up after nearly waiting for 12-13 mins. I'm being charged 25-30 bucks everyday unnecessarily since i'm stuck with their default package. This has been a harrowing experience and i recommend staying away from bigtv if someone planning to take a dth connection.

                              Anil Ambani, learn something from your elder brother.Stop cribbing about everything and improve your services. Get some decent call executives who know what they're supposed to do.I'm switching over to tata for sure. Enough of -load of your Bigtv.

                              Reliance Big TV — worst response

                              Its reallty bad to say that these emplyees are spoiling the name of Relience......but just 2-3 days back my mom and my brother paid 1390 rs cheque for dish connection of big tv and the boy who came for selling didnt even respond for calls as well as they are not even taken any progress, related to big tv connection ...... so beware......the name told by him is rahul deshmukh and ph no is [protected] so plz try this no......i paid amt by cheque.........and dont take any risk...

                              I never ever heard about the worst service like BIG TV. I was in Konanakunte and now relocated to Avalahalli (K R Puram). I have requested for re-installation its already 5 days passed but still no one called me for the installation purpose they told that with in one day they will do the installation when I given the complaint but I don't know what day mean to them. When ever I call them they will say within 24 hours it will be installed from 5 days same thing is happening. I am fed up of this issue. I don't know when they are going to install it.

                              I fully agree with the suggestion that, Reliance Big TV has the worst of customer care system. To reach the customer care it takes a minimum of 45 - 50 minutes before anybody comes on line to speak with you. If you ask them for any help in reaching them faster they say bluntly, NO you dont have any other option! If one asks anything further the guy says speak to my Team leader. He is a person who has gone through all this and says, Yes what 'MY' man says is correct. You have to go through this process to speak to us. I had the good fortune of speaking once to one their TEAM LEADER by name Ruksana! What an experience. I am telling you BIG TV must be the organisation with the least no:of complaints registered. Not by its merit of being owned by Reliance but becasue of its system of redressal. Majority of them will prefer to just leave it at that than go through this. I can vouch that it is highly UNRELIABLE and utterly mis-managed system of complaints handling. Either dont go for Reliance Big TV or suffer through your ordeal. Nobody will listen to you in their organisation other than their Sales Team. They are good in SELLING and thats it! Khasht-se-Mare is Customer for "Reliance BIG TV". Is Ambani listening anywhere or does he or his organisation are TOO BIG to really care for their customers, one wonders! If anybody wants to speak they can reach me on [protected].                                 Reliance Big TV phenomenal growth has brought the Customer Centre on its arse...After trying for 5 mins you understand how to get someone on from the CS on phone. The wait time to speak to a agent is 7 minutes.
                                After all this the agent keeps you on hold and the call gets disconnected this happened twice to me.
                                I being a existing customer of Big TV would like to suggest Umesh Rao, Senior Vice president, Reliance BIG TV to try calling once to the Customer Center and have a first hand experience.

                                  I bought BigTV connection more than a year back. Six months back I recharged my card for one year. Few times I am having poor signal quality some times no channels are displaying on the screen saying rains at broadcast, etc no signal.

                                  The same thing happened two weeks before for which I have given a complaint on customer care and somebody came and spend two and hours and could not fix the problem. I am behind the BigTV cusomter to get this problem fixed and all of a suddent now they are saying I need to pay engineer visit charges because of my one year free service period is finished, some body in customer care saying even with in one year also i has to pay.

                                  Even though my complaint which was given two weeks before was not completed one year and the problem is not fixed.

                                  I am getting frustration with the customer care and the service.

                                  I dont know what to do in this scenarios. I paid upto mar, 2010 for my SIM card. Otherwise I would have not gone for this.
                                  my attitude towaords complaint is right cause thaey provide very bad service to us

                                    I have lodged a complaint on 20.09.09 but still no engineer have visited, my big tv no. is[protected], every time i call they inform me that within 24hrs engineer will visit and please check the way their representatives talk to us one of floor supervisors mr.amin in night shift was just casually talking to us he said that u just remove the big tv if it is not working properly so please check the call recordings i[censored] have,

                                    My services suddenly stopped, it says poor/intermediate signal and they are demanding Rs 170 from me for attending the problem. They are randomly selecting people and switching off their signal and demanding Rs 170 to restart again. Same dish, same wires, same set top box how come signal is lost now?????????

                                    Any organisation if you are active customer, they should first check the problem, if there is any fault then they should cherge for repairing. But here, these guys are asking money upfront. Because they know, there is no problem. As soon as u pay, they will activate again.

                                    Anil Ambani have a dream to become richer than mukesh, he can go down to any extent to do this... cheap man cheap company

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have a big TV settalite dish tv and using since last 1 year, recently my account balance got finish and I received message on all the channels that please recharge you account to resume the service, I went to the near by shop & took the recharge for Rs 500/-. When I tried to recharge my account via SMS on 55454 by typing Message as BTVTOP my suscriber I.D. recharge voucher No, I received an SMS that Invalid SCN No, I thought there may be typing mistake so I tried 5-6 times every time I received the same messages, then I tried calling on the toll free number on[protected] &[protected] &[protected], I spoke to the customer service represantative several time each time the CSR told me that they have mail my complain & they require 24HRS to solve the problem, I also spoke to the senior customer representative Ms Amarjit Kaur & she promised to resume the service within 24HRS but nothing happen till date. I also went to the shop & told him to refund Rs 500/- which I had paid him for recharge, but he also told me to give complain on toll free no as mentioned above.
                                      I therefore request you to kindly take this matter to the higher authority & help to start the TV programes.

                                        ON 26TH AUG I RECHARGED MY BIG TV ACCOUNT FOR TOP UP CHANNELS WHERE I ASKED THEM TO ACTIVATE A FEW CHANNELS AND DEACTIVATE A FEW. TO MY SURPRISE ALL THE MONEY FROM ACCOUNT VANISHED OVERNIGHT AND THE CHANNELS FOR WHICH I SUBSCRIBED FOR ARE NOT SHOWING. AND BIG TV ALSO CHARGED ME FOR THE CHANNELS WHICH ARE DEACTIVE N NOT SHOWING. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING UP FOR THE PAST 1 WEEK ADDING TO MY FRUSTRATION BUT IN VAIN. NEED SOME HELP HERE
