I Anindita Sengupta, am a cutomer of Relaince Big-tv ,Rourkela,Orissa,bearing the consumer no.[protected],has been deprived by the local agent here from viewing the channels of my liking excepting gyan darshan, since the 25th of June 2010.from 1.00 PM onwards.For two to three consecutive days a local customer care service personal has been insisting on a change of set top box without any valid reason.When his proposal of buying a new set top box was not agreed to,my services have been disabled.Each time the local office is contacted they give evasive answers like my balalnce might be ' 0'. However on the 25th itself there was a message on my tv screen at 1pm that I had a balance of Rs.80.when the customer care helpine is contacted we get a reply through the phone that-'all channels in this rout are busy'.Had there been something wrong with the set top box it would not shown a good signal message on the tv screen.I think its just a trick of the local agent here to sell new set top box to the customer through deception.I am a consumer of the Big-tv since a year.Please do something about this strange problem.

    Customer care and Technical support of Big TV are the ends of the river....which will never meet to satisfy the customer. I have given request on 17th June 2010 (#[protected] to reinstall the Big TV at my new address. And to my surprise, the request was closed on 20th June with the reason my mobile was not reachable and the technician visited my house and no one was there to attend him which were totally LIE statements given by the technician. Again on 21st I gave one more request / complaint (#[protected] to reinitiate the process the reinstallation of Big TV at my new place. No one contacted me till 22nd late eve so I called up cust care (as usual the waiting time need to consider) and I was told that the request is closed with the reason Technician has called me up and given the appointment on 26th June, which was again LIE statement given by Technician. DAILY I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR USING BIG TV SINCE 17th JUNE FROM MY BALANCE AMOUNT.

    I’m losing football World Cup moments…. I’m now tired of this Big TV.

    I have lots of issues with reliance BIG TV

    I made a foolish mistake of purchasing BIGTV online and after getting welcome kit from them on 10 The june 2010
    My new installation is not done since more than 3 weeks
    and I am staying in Kharghar- Navi Mumbai-410210 now these people say local Cable operators here do not allow them to install any DTH ...
    Is this is the case why should Reliance venture into such business ????

    Now When I contact Customer care to get my refund they ask me to hold line to transfer the cll to superiors and it never gets answered
    I really feel Reliance should be sued for providing such pathetic customer service
    Please Suggest how to handle with them and how to go ahead to get my refund

      I, Gaurav Garg having RELIANCE BIG TV DTH card no.[protected] since 2008. On 22/010/2009 i have recharged my DTH service by 1500/- for 1 year bronze pack. At the same time there was a scheme in that scheme i should be benefited by 10 % cash back in my account, i did not get the same and my bronze pack have converted into value pack. I launched complaint at BIG TV toll free no. i.e. [protected] after several attempt i able to connect with BIG TV toll free and i complained regarding bronze pack and 10% cash back to the executive and they said it’s our fault and we will convert as soon as possible but till today they did not convert my pack into bronze pack and did not provide 10% cash money in my account. I had called several times but they did not solve this problem. But they deducted rs. all- from my account and account was in negative when i call to customer care again they said please recharge your account by minimum 150/- and then you call and launch new complaint then i recharged my account by 150/- in April 2010 and called to customer care and they made a complain and said we will solve this problem within 2 days but nothing was done. Again i called then they said your complain was closed and launched a new complained and the executive was Mr. Amandeep on 5th june, 2010 and the complain number was[protected]. But no response and again i have recharged my account by 200/- on 12th June, 2010.

      So i request you to please take full action against the complaint.

        Several times I have tried to find out the package detail through BIGTV website failed to do. It is very difficult for the customer to find out package details from the website available presently. Also I have requesting for providing some channels for last 19 months or more e.g "Dy.365", "News24", Ruposhi Bangla, "Sonar Bangla" and " Tara Bangla" to the customer care but every time they say that these channels are in the process you will get within a very short time. It will almost 19 months gone by that they are doing the this false practice with the customer.

        1.SOME MORE ASSAMESE CHANNELS LIKE "DY 365", "NE HIFI "AND "RANG" SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN BIG TV.

        2.THE SELECT BUTTON DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY.

        3.THE SOUND IN HINDI DOES NOT MATCH IN CHANNEL "NICK"

          Hi Sir / Madam,

          I had purchased Reliance Big Tv one and half year ago. My Subscriber id is[protected]. There were problems with the set top box initially like the Set Top Box was not responding when i used to change the channel and i had to restart it. This problem was not very frequent.

          I had reported this issue to the customer care, to which they used to raise a complaint and after 2 days or so they would close it without informing me.
          i was fed up with calling customer care and started adjusting with it thinking it was a software problem and would work fine in the next software upgrade.

          But now, the set top box has developed a new problem. It is getting restarted every now and then. I have contacted the customer care on this and they had to tell that i would get an old serviced set top box for paying an amount of Rs 800 + service charges.

          I don't understand why i have to pay an Rs 800 + service charges for no fault of mine or is it that Reliance sells Set top boxes which last only a year !!!.

          I am just fed up with Reliance..

          I request you to please look into this.
          I have faced similar incident. Seems like Reliance BigTV itself creates some problem and the STB becomes inoperable. This could be their business strategy to withdraw money from existing customer. I had a very bad experience with Reliance for Mobile services. I recommend to people not to go far any Reliance product/services.
          I'm planning to switch to Airtel DTH services. As far as quality of service is concerned, they are far better than any other service providers.

          Even I am facing a similar problem for the past 15 days. I have to check how much will they charge for fixing that.

            day by day reliance services are hope less, some reliance executive from sri ganga nagar have change all the data in my mobile number and big tv account i dont know without knowing me they changed authorization to mr. pawan kumar but actual owner of this account is rajaesh khanna my account number of big tv is[protected] when i go to netbanking there i am seeing in account number some kumar name is there but this is totally wrong this accont number owner is rajesh khanna i[censored] not take the action against this matter i will go to consumer court.

              I am a subscriber of Reliance - Big TV in the year 2009. My Subscription ID is[protected]. There is a problem with software downloading on to the set top box. The same has been intimated to their customer care from 2nd June 2010 and nobody has taken any seriousness / sent any technician to look-after our problem. So I again contacted them on 4th onwards, one of their engineers given some instruction to set the box but same problem was continuing since 4th to today i.e. on 9/06/2010. Neither they are sending their engineer to solve this problem nor they are attending the customer care centre telephone. Everyday they are deducting the money without activation. They also promised us to send their engineers within 24 Hrs. But till today (09/10/2010) they have not sent any of them. I request anyone to solve my problem at the earliest otherwise remove the BIG TV connection without any delay so that I can take the connection from Cable TV which I was using for the last 5-6 years. Now I am suggesting to our colleagues, who are using the BIG TV not to use BIG TV in future.

              I must say the service is absolutely hopeless - I once again mention not to buy this product and regret later.

              I am taken a service of big tv in the month of june2009, up to one year there is no problems, now june 9 2010 onwards problems are raised, my ID is[protected].

              1. I have called first time on 08/06/2010 to [protected] for query i.e., my set top box is switched off and on automatically and i have not seen tv channels only 5 seconds due to this problrm. then customer service executive told me within 24 hors it will be solved, then i will called again on 10/06/2010 same words were reapeted again, then i will called on 22/06/2010 they given one complaint number afterwords nothing will happen and that complaint also closed without any solving problem, then i will called on 23/06/2010 the same words are reapeted, then i will called 24/06/2020 again same thing will happened. again i will called on 30/06/2010 again same, again today 01/07/10 same thing will repeated, HOW TO BELIVE BIG TV? without solving the problems they were deduct service charges in the recharge amount. what to do? i have all recordinngs in my mobile, SO i am decided to go to consumer Forum. This is the best way otherwise we will mentally upset. BIG TV cusomers service is very very Worst and third class among the Others. Moreover i dont have other words to tease.

              My self Praween Singh from Gaya, Bihar. I brought a onida 21' ultra slim TV in which I got big tv connection free. I submitted my request to big tv customer care on 16 Nov. 2010. Customer service executive said that your big tv installed within four days but it is not installed till today. BIG TV cusomers service is very very Worst and third class among the Others. Moreover i dont have other words to tease.

              as the matter of service it's very poor . i recharged from jammu, jewel chowk i.e sky ways communication shop no.10, vinayak bazar near hotel rajdhani, jammu.every time they give us a ph. no.[protected].but they don't pick the phone even without reponding on dated[protected] i call 25 times but they not responding.after that if i call again shown ph. busy.and they giving a single no. for dialing and others no. not working.and if even they take everytime after 2 to 3 days time for processing recharged.so what i can do if i go to them they said dont worry its processing. 1) the service is not proper 2) everytime delayed. 3)not cooperative with customers.4)help less service provider.
              its my humble request to you that take action against him for proving such type of service.

                i subcribe to reliance big tv on 15/may/2010 and issued cheque dt 28/may/2010 they promised me they instat the connection with a weak time after the i called the authorised the stockist of relaince big tv APPCO MARKETING PVT LTD MUMBAI they never respond if they are not in a position let them return my amount of rs 1490.00 they should nt cheat customer

                  Inspite of more than two months, nothing has happened. I am sick of calling up the customer care dumps. Last week i got i touch with one of their floor manager ms. Manpreet, and she took the complaint and to my suprise after two days, she herself called up and said that some credit had been given to my account. But till now i don't know what is the credit and how much i have given. When i check my account balance now it says that it is rs.114.00. But i have paid rs.700/-, then where it had gone. No response. Only stupid answers that system is slow, server is down, manpreet had gone to hospital etc etc. This is not a way to run a multi crore organization, this is a fish market. Even a worst word it is a #### market. I pay money and i get screwed again and reliance wont mind it. Though i was asked for smart card no from their so called big tv customer care team, what are they doing with the smart card which i had sent couple of days back. Are they screwing with each other in the office???. Even a vegetable vendor who comes to my home every other day has a gratitude in reatining me as a customer and keeps in mind how much i had paid excess nor is that he had charged anything more, he will reduce it the next time. Adag is certainly not fit enough to tell that they are a big dth service provide. Of course they are biggest reliance direct thiefs and hoolingans.

                  Last month reliance big tv had debited rs.700.00 from my account without any valid reason. Due to wrong deduction my account had gone negative and my certain channels got disconnected. I know these beggars will not give back my money, and hence i had not recharged my account further.

                  Since april 25th i am fighting with them. More that 10 calls, n hours on the phone call, and every time the dumb cc executive says they will sort this in another 2 days, but till now they have not reversed any amount. But i got one mail from a cc executive called ajay, that my amount had been reversed, but there was no indication about how much money they have credited. Nor my channels got re-activated again.

                  It is the worst cc executives i have ever come across and the wrong promises they make is really irrittating the consumer. Will the ambani will reply on my complaint. Big tv is raping the consumers and screwing their money. We actually do not know how somebody could deducted any amount without any valid reason. No reply at all from any other the deaf and dump customer care executive. These beggars have not given any other next level rappers too. We need to lick the cc executive every time and no reply at all. They just hang the phone around and when we call next time, again the story starts from a to z. By now, i might have repeated my stories to atleast 10 times to the deaf cc executives. But no reply.

                  I request all our fellow country men not to support reliance for any reason. They just screw people where ever the opportunity. Beggars and arrogant ###

                  The charges of Rs 700 is against relocation of STB. As per your discussion with our customer care executive the excess charges were waived off and only the charges for relocation been debited from your account as per the process and the issue was resolved.

                  Stupid BIG TV Direct Thieves and Hooligans, tell me how much you have waived off. Am i asking any alms from you. What is the proicess you are telling. Screwing the customer money and make him to run for about 2 months and just closing the issue as nothing. Do you have anything in your head called brain and something between your legs to say that you are a human being. I had called 100 times to your CC executives for know how much have been waived off, till today none of the person could tell how much has been waived off. Do you people playing to customers.

                  Reliance Smart Card — Money getting deducted without any reason

                  Hello sir,

                  I am a user of Relience smart card based on Muzaffarpur with No. [protected].
                  Despite of complaining so many times regarding my money getting deducted because of different service packs which i never consented or told to provide.
                  Please stop all the VAT services and all the service packs immediated and stop deducting money immediately.

                    Dear team,

                    This is with reference to the reliance big tv connection that we have booked last month on 26/Apr/2010. It was promised to us that it will be installed within 7 days however i am failing to understand why even after the month it has not been installed.

                    I have given the cheque of 1490 to APPCO India LTd which got cleared the next day however still the instrument has not been installed.

                    Despite of calling and complaining at the call center i haven't got any revert or call back. Last option i am left with is to file the case against Reliance BIG TV in the consumer court.

                      I had subscribed for Reliance Big TV smart card no[protected] Diamond Pack on 13th September, 2009. Later, on , I chose to go for annual subscriptions of additional packages of Zee TV(Rs17) and Regional Bangla(Rs 5). But, on 28th May, 2010, I received a message from Reliance saying that there was no balance left in my account and my additional packages would be discontinued, if I did not recharge my account.

                      I called up the customer care to enquire about this and the executive said that because I had subscribed for an additional Sports Pack, my account balance had expired. When, I denied this, the executive literally quarreled with me on this. On being protested over the point that the Diamond Pack includes the Sports Pack and there is no point in re-subscribing, he asked me to call the next day and find out what has gone wrong. On the next day, after lodging a complaint regarding this, another executive informed me that during the time of IPL, my account was automatically activated with the Sports Pack, by mistake and assured me that within 48 hours, the amount would be credited back to my account.

                      After 48 hours, i.e. on 31st May, I found out that the balance was still not credited to my account and I called up to enquire about this. The executive assured me that the case would be resolved in 10 hours. But, only 4 hours later, I received a message that my case was closed but, to my dismay, the balance still did not turn up in my account. I called them up again. This time they admitted that it was their fault and told me that this will be escalated to their superior but, when I asked them to forward the line to the superior; they came up with petty reasons not to do that. I lodged another complaint, and the executive told me that the issue would be solved by the night but, it was not. When I called up in the night, they again assured me that the issue would be solved by June 2nd without fail.

                      On 2nd June, the additional packages got disconnected. When I called up to check, the same old story was repeated. They said that it was their fault and told me that this will be escalated to their superior but, when I asked them to forward the line to the superior; they again came up with some petty reasons. 2 to 3 hours later, they closed the case again without resolving. I called up and the entire story was repeated over and over again. My case is still unresolved. I had no option but to recharge the amount on my account.

                      I am really dissatisfied with the service and would advice you against going for Reliance Big TV.

                        I have taken BIG TV DTH connection .1 1/2 year back.After one year i have Charger for next one year.Last month 2nd i have complen,they have come after 2 days,change the box,But after 2 days same problem,then i have log complen that is 6th of may.after no of call and mail they have come change the box on 13 th of may.Again same problem on box that is 27th of may.i try lo log a complem by phone to there call center each call thet hang for 40 to 50 minit they are not giving me complem no.this is happen on 28 th may,i made 4 call.After that on 29 th of may send a Mail to them but no rep.After that i have made no of mail but no rep.and call to them they are not responcing.But now they are saying that for the servicing the box i have to pay to the Rs 800.i have all mail copy.Last one month hardly i watch tv.Now also not working.

                          dear sir my name is a.sivasreenivas and my ID with them[protected] .i have taken reliaince bigtv 1.5 year back.recently some of regional chanels are not coming properly , when i contacted their coustomer care([protected]) they are tried to solve my problem by telephonic guidelines but they failed to solve then they said to visit my place to rectify the problem and for visting my location i have to pay around 175 rupees.
                          herei have some objections :- (1) why should i pay the charges bcz my TV is working good and the problem with dish and their wires .(2).and the big tv people are are putting charges with out knowing problem weather it was with TV or their Dish.(3)they are saying the dish wich was placed on top of my appartement was disturbed bcz of winds and rains ... is this my fault.
                          . so iam not ready to pay charges and i want to fight with them.
                          one more suspiction in my mind that is :- if the bigtv people willingly disturbed settings from their place may cause problems at coustomers houses ..then when the coustomers called to solve the problem they will charge(this might be their income source)

                            Last month reliance big tv had debited rs.700.00 from my account without any valid reason. Due to wrong deduction my account had gone negative and my certain channels got disconnected. I know these beggars will not give back my money, and hence i had not recharged my account further.

                            Since april 25th i am fighting with them. More that 10 calls, n hours on the phone call, and every time the dumb cc executive says they will sort this in another 2 days, but till now they have not reversed any amount. But i got one mail from a cc executive called ajay, that my amount had been reversed, but there was no indication about how much money they have credited. Nor my channels got re-activated again.

                            It is the worst cc executives i have ever come across and the wrong promises they make is really irrittating the consumer. Will the ambani will reply on my complaint. Big tv is raping the consumers and screwing their money. We actually do not know how somebody could deducted any amount without any valid reason. No reply at all from any other the deaf and dump customer care executive. These beggars have not given any other next level rappers too. We need to lick the cc executive every time and no reply at all. They just hang the phone around and when we call next time, again the story starts from a to z. By now, i might have repeated my stories to atleast 10 times to the deaf cc executives. But no reply.

                            I request all our fellow country men not to support reliance for any reason. They just screw people where ever the opportunity. Beggars and arrogant rapist's.

                                My Reliance Big TV Smart Card No:[protected]

                                I was cheated by the local RELIANCE BIG TV dealer, he promised all the channels i was getting with my previous service provider and more for a price of Rs. 150/- per month.
                                After having got rid of my previous service provider, RELIANCE BIG TV installed their service and later realised that not even 1/4 of the channels were provided and I was being asked to pay for the rest of the channels.
                                The dealers Cell no and landline numbers are untraceable.

                                After having lodged TWO compalints with their sevice center No:[protected], on 4th of May No:[protected] i was promised a response in 48 hours, and nothing happened for 7 days.
                                I again lodged a compalint No: [protected] on 10th of May and was promised a response in 48 hours,
                                Today it is the 19th of May and Reliance is still not responding and after calling today they are refusing to take a 3rd complaint and solve the issue.

                                RELIANCE refuses to take responsiblity of what os happening and I'm at a loss of Money as well as harrassed.

                                I have total negative viewsabout their service and responses and discourage anyone for getting a RELIANCE BIG TV connection.

                                Extremely Irresponsible on their side.

                                BIG TV — Bad service and no response to complaints

                                I have subscribed to BIG TV in November 2009 and since then using it. My subscriber number is[protected]. I have a problem with the service and no action is being taken even after complaining about it several time. This is very irritating for the customer.

                                I made a recharge of R.S.240/- on 27th Jan 2009 and asked to apply service pack3. Suddenly on 16th February 2009 all my services were deactivated and all channels locked. When i called customer care I got various reasons for this from different people. The response is that the same package was activated two times at the same time which seems to be very strange and also the server was down and similar explanations.

                                On top of this even after disconnecting money is getting deducted from my account and it shows negative balance making it even more worse every time.

                                I want an action to be taken against my complain as soon as possible by the higher authorities.

                                  I bought a BIG tv connection through appco marketing though i dint appco is marketing for big tv,later i canceled my connection after 2-3days when i called the executives they neither picked my calls,after searching for thier number in business directory i came to know that their office is in mumbai,when i called them they says the cheque has been sent and gave me their other executive number in bangalore,she neither responded to my calls she use to tell the cheque has been sent through courier and after 15-20days when i tried to call here again she started with a drama saying am not able to hear you please call me later,and later she blocked my number as well.

                                    My name is Vijay and my Reliance BIG TV customer id[protected]. My complaint is regarding BIG TV set top box. Recently I have received a software upgrade on my set top box and after applying that update, my set top box is restarting very frequently. I have called reliance customer care regarding this issue many times but not received a proper response.

                                    As per the recent complain by me (Complaint Number:[protected], there technical staff says that this problem has been started because of Reliance firmware upgrade and they are totally responsible for this and as a solution they will be going to replace the set top box but I need to pay Rs. 175 as a visiting charges.

                                    Although this problem has started after the software upgrade which has been applied by reliance so they should not ask for any kind of charges. This simply shows that they are trying to make some money in a wrong manner.

                                    I asked them to help me to reset my set top box so that this newly upgrade can be removed which may solve the issue but they do not want to help me to do so.

                                    Kindly help on this issue.

                                    I am Bins residing in Bangalore. My set top box serial number is also starting from 2006, and the same problem is there to me as well. Whenever we are switching on the TV, it will auto stop and auto on the set top box at least 10-15 times and by the time we would have already waster minimum 30 mints. When I made call to customer care, they are asking for 175/- for client visit and told me to replace the Set top box and it will cost 500/-. So I am in thought of changing the provider with Airtel and I feel the customer service is very good and signal quality is also good.

                                    By the way can you please let us know any update on your issue.

                                      BIG TV — No Service

                                      I have taken a BIG TV connection 15 days before, my card no is "[protected]" and very next day i am getting black screen with BIG TV Logo.

                                      I have called up the customer care and they gave me a complaint number : "75262878" and assured me that my problem will be resolved in 4 hrs. I waited for 6 hrs and again i called up the customer care, now they said that it will be resolved in 48 hrs. I asked him to tell exactly why the screen is in black with the logo. He said to check the signal condition, i checked it was showing POOR quality. He said we will rectify your problem within few hours. Not the hours are going on days are going on till now no one noted my complaint and didn't rectify the problem. I contacted the person who installed, he said me to press 23467 button on the screen and press OK, nothing happened, his response is very worst. He said if i am free i will come and i am busy right now. See his performance.

                                      I fed up calling up the customer care coz same reply (within few hrs) no action. Then why the hell you are providing the customer care. I disconnected the local cable connection, now we are not able to watch anything.

                                      I want my connection to be connected and if not refund me my full ammount if they can not provide any after sale service to the customers.
                                      i residing in Muraliangar, Visakhapatnam. My new house No. is Flat No. 202, Manasa REsidency, Laxminagar, Marripalem, Visakhapatnam-18. I have taken the big tv connection on 30th Sep 2008. I request you to connect the big tv on 4th Oct 2008 evening 4.00 PM for shifting rent house to own house. But he has came on 4th October evening 7 'O' clock. He erected dish infront of the house. Unfortunately dose not agree the my family members. i request you shift the dish upstairs. He told that now it is not possible shifting and come later and shifted to upstairs, the dish is taken away. i also again call to the call centre on 4th october 8.00 clock he told to come on Mondy 6th Oct 2008 at 3 'O' clock PM. But he didnot come. again call to call centre the call centre mandam told he bring to Tuseday 3 P.M. onwards. today Tuesday also morning call to call center the madam told your ID is expired and remain logding again.                                       31-Jan-10, I Have Logged a Complaint that My Big TV is not working as it is appearing “Error-2” while installing Channels in Set up Box – Complaint Number[protected]. I have waited 3 days but no CALL, NO E-mail, No Engineer Visit – NOTHING at all then I called up again in Customer care on 4th Feb 10, and asked for same complaint status. Surprisingly they said the Complaint has been closed being reason Customer is not willing to pay Engineer charges - Let me remind here THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION WITH ME FROM RELIANCE so Call closed. 4th Feb another Complaint[protected], This Time Reliance (Customer Care) has given 24 hr’s Time Period for Resolution. I have waited next day at home but No Sign from Reliance so I have called up again on 5th Feb but nothing was changed same Lines, commitment .Now I have almost realized that I have made a big mistake to stay with reliance.
                                      5th Feb again Complaint –[protected] waited till 8th Feb But amazingly no Response at all so I have called in customer care and GOD BLESS!! Complaint has been close once again so I am just Holding my patience and waiting for service which I have paid it. 8th Feb 10, again I have made Complain for same issue and Off course No change in Commitment , Still Big Words and Greeting Lines. 8th Feb 10 Complain –[protected].
                                      It is very shameful for us that we are still Depending on this system which need to strict by our government.

                                      This is to bring to your kind notice that the issue with the BIG TV Setup box is piled up and not at all being addressed from past 10 days.

                                      The following is the case sheet:

                                      My Reliance Setup Box stopped working from December 9th 2010, which I have logged a complaint with Reliance BIG TV customer care for the same on 10th December 2010.

                                      Day 1- None from Reliance BigTv called me and issue hasn't been resolved.
                                      Day2 - I have Received a message that the complaint which I have logged has been closed. So I again called to Customer care and raised the complaint again.
                                      Day3 - I got a call from some BIG TV guy who directly answered that he cannot attend the call, Its raining heavily(rain just got stopped 1 hour before he called) and he promised me that he will look into the issue next day.
                                      Day 4 - Same has been updated to me as they updated me on Day 3.
                                      Day 5 - A guy surprisingly did a favor to call me at 1o clock(inspite explaining that I need to go to office, so will not be available at home from 10.30am to 8.30pm) noon saying that he is interested to look into the issue. i Requested him to come next day anytime.
                                      Day 6 - ( I took leave assuming that the BIG TV service guy would come to my home and fix the issue)I have called the same guy nextday afternoon asking whether he is going to fix the problem or not. The guy answered me that its raining heavily again.
                                      Day 7 - Atlast a guy called vijay kumar visited my house and tried to fix the issue. He couldnt and concluded me that the setup is not working properly and need to be replaced. He also strictly recommended me to be available in home next day all the time.
                                      Day 8 - I waited for the Vijay kumar. Instead of Vijay Kumar I got a message that my complaint which I have logged has been closed.
                                      Day 9 - I again have called customer care and asked why Vijay Kumar couldnt able to fix the issue. Customer Service executive updated me that Vijay kumar will resolve the issue next day.
                                      Day 10 - Vijay kumar neither called me nor attended the call. I again called the customer care. Customer Service executive Bhanuprakash M has attended my call and told me that My issue will be resolved in 24 hours.
                                      Day 11 - No one did call me till today evening and I called the customer care to know about why the issued hasnt been resolved. Customer Service executive Bhanuprakash M updated me that there is shortage with the setup boxes so it can be resolved only when the setup box will be available . I requested Bhanuprakash M to help me understand why I havent been updated about the progress made on my complaint and requested to connect to the Supervisor Resham Arsha to understand me why the issue is not getting progressed. She answered me that she can take action on the issue only when I will re-activate the account.

                                      I also re-activated the account as Reshma Arsha. But no one till date are not at all bothered to really be commited to atleast update the progress and when they can resolve the issue. Two terms 'IN PROGRESS' and 'WILL BE RESOLVED IN 24 HOURS' is only answered every time I am calling for help to customer care. I expect that my issue will be atleast taken in considertion now to act and resolve the problem now.

                                      BIG TV — No Service for Complaint

                                      From March onwards , i have complained about set top box failure. Till today (19/6/2013) No replacement ll be made.
                                      i have called more than 6 time to customer care . when even i request the complain to them, within two days, they close the complaint with rectification.
                                      For the past TEN days I have been trying to register a complaint that the reception on my Big TV connection is terrible. I am getting neither SOUND nor PICTURE - reception is EXTREMELY POOR.

                                      Is there an alternate number of customer service outlet where I am visit and register complaint physically.

                                        Details! Oh that's a long story. I was stupid enough to keep my connection under safe custody from 1st April 2010. On 30th May 2010, I send a request letter to their Safe Custody Unit to Cancel my safe custody and activate the connection as soon as possible. The letter was delivered to their office on 03rd May 2010 3.49pm as per the courier people website. Since then I spend hundreds of rupees and umpteen hours on telephone calls to their customer service for this and as on today, that is 11th May 2010, it was not activated. Day before yesterday I got an SMS from them saying sent a letter to them requesting cancellation of Safe Custody. I send the same by registered post yesterday instead of Courier and waiting to see what happened within coming week. I decided myself that this was the last I had anything to do with Ambani's. Besides all this, I sent a lot of emails to them also. No use. Go for Airtel at least they respond to your complaint fast.
