i purchase a big tv connections and set top box at december 2009.the set not did work untill 14 april 2010.i complainted on 15 april 2010 to their customer care.they told the problem will be solved in 48 hours.i complainted again and agan and counting no solution .today 10 may 2010.my ph [protected]

Sir/madam i am using BIGTV from 9 months but it is not servicable from last one month.My big tv smart card number is[protected] castumar name pramod/siyaram sharma shookh adda goverdhan mathura (u.p) 2815002
I lodge the complain about this matter 8 times but there is no response for those complain from customer care. My big tv is in warranty period of one year.Date and complain number are under mentioned

I am having Big T.v connection i.d.no[protected] I request change SD setabox to HD Setabox following are my service request, they have closed all my request id with my information
No one has contacted me regarding this . I have recharged Rs.2500 only for HD conversion, now I am planning to cancel my this connection going for other DTH operator .
Customer care executive has informed me they cannot refund the amount, I have recharged this amount only for HD Conversion and still now they have not changed my setabox, so please do something and get back me

BAD SERVICE
MY SMART CARD NO,[protected]. I had lodged a complaint on 21.06.2015 for signal poor at RELIANCE CUSTOMER CARE NO.[protected].MY Complaint no. is[protected] Till date my complaint has not been rectify and when I am calling to RELIANCE CUSTOMER CARE, each and every they said "Our technician will approach you within 48 hours". 2 days have been over, none of the technicians have appeared.
THEREFORE I URGE TO ALL PLEASE DONT BUY THIS RELIANCE DTH TV, SINCE IT HAS POOOOOOR SERVICES AND IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE.

    One person from Appco Marketing India Pvt. Ltd.Pune Brach, Name Sandesh Sahare came to our house with the Big TV DTH offer on 26,th April 2010 and take money Rs 1490 to complete this offer within 5 days. But still the Dish has not installed as per commitment. The cell number which he had provided is not in service. The guyes are calling from some other place that they are coming today but the result is diffrent. we took 2 days leave for them but nobody came and installed the dish. Very frustarting service. Can somebody look into this and get it done.

      Dear All,

      This is Mohan, I have transferred from Chennai to Bangalore 2 weeks ago . Along with that I have Taken My Big Tv dish also . I have raised a complaint for re-installation . I am located in BTM 1 stage.I am truly telling .. I never disappointed in my life, Which I have a bad experience with BIG TV Customer care . The Dish TV haven't installed yet .. but they keep detecting money from my account .. They said to RECHARGE for Rs.350 for re-installation . However I did. But they not coming for re-installation .. and detecting money . When I call CC . They take all my stories and Disconnect the call.. Today[protected] I have been called 6 times continuously .. No proper response . They saying again to recharge Rs.350 . .. Please tell me is that make sense .. ( First off all DISH TV is not in use .. I have to keep recharging the money ) Without using the service.. Please /kindly some suggest how to escalate this issue .. and wat is the solution for this . I would appreciate if any one can help me please .. I am totally Frustrated..

        1 Why we have pay extra if problem in your side that mean network is your retailed.

          On[protected] evening a person Pavitra Kumar ([protected]) came to my house & introduced himself as Marketing Executive of Appco Mktg. & told me that they are doing campaign marketing of BIG TV of Reliance. He breifed me about the package costing Rs. 1490/- which would be activated after verification within 5 working days and on installation to pay the person Rs. 320/- to Engineer for four month free subscription.

          I gave him the cheque for the full amount (No. 436757 dt 23/04/10 of ICICI Bank). Next day verification call came and they told me it will be installation will be done within 5 days .

          The next day I tried to contact him ( Pavitra Kumar [protected]) but there was no response, then I tried Raliance Big TV office in Airoli, Ms. Komal ([protected] and Land Line[protected] but there was no reply. Even they didn't have courtesy to attend my calls. I am continuosly trying to contact the same number but nobody has a courtesy to attend.

          If the installation is not done within next 4 days I am going to file a cheating case aganist Appco Marketing India Pvt Ltd.

          BIG TV — not yet activated my south park

          I got my big tv installation done on 17nov08 against my smart card no[protected] . but after three weeks past my south premium pack had not yet been activated. pis look in to that.

              I have purchased Big TV In july 2009.its poor services ,reception,and display made me to discontinue its servicers for the last three months but rescently i receeved a call from the customer care services Jammu requesting to get it reactivate my connection and assured of its best services and promised about the rectification of the problem within 24 hours.The request no of my complaint was regestered under no[protected] dated[protected].But the complaint is unattended till to-day even after making payments for its reactivation.I have been repeatedly requesting the customer care center Jammu on phone for rectification of problem but without any results.My I D No is[protected]
              I think the Big TV from reliance is the biggest fraud and is just minting money and also giving trouble to the poor customers when its owners Like Mr. Anil Ambani must be enjoying some where in a luxury room in Mumbai with out any knowledge what his customers are feeling about his company.
              I hope UR form will definitely take my complaint to the relvent corners for its redressal.

              BIG TV — Ultra worst customer care

              I bought the BIG TV for 2190 and one crap technician installed Telugu package instead of the tamil package without our consent. We kept calling the customer care for about 4 days and till now we keep getting the reply as "within 24 hours your issue will be resolved". As usual reliance started their own way of marketing. Because of poor cable network only i bought this crap set.
              Very bad thing when i got Big tv.I given compliant on 21t.This is totally Big tv Engineer's mistake.North package was installed in the place of South.There is no regional pack in that.We loss our patiency.We will go to consumer court.This ia very very very mad netwotk.
              no one should take this hell set.
              15days over but no engineer come for installation.
              customer care people playing with customer.
              all are bloody fellow.
              my personally advice to my friend dont do blunder mistake
              to take this set bigtv.
              i can only say this is the worst customer care service, i have recharged my smart card with 200 rs and than call the customer care for activate the pecks after 24 hours they written my compliant because they were not able 2 activate the pecks they promised me to solve it in 48 hours. after 48 hours they again generate a new compliant for the same thing after 5 days they are saying that your compliant in solving status still they are not able to tell that how much time they require.

              Reliance Big TV — worst company in terms of customer care

              last year i bought areliance bigtv settopbox. they told me it would be installed in 48 hrs. it took nearly 20 days fro the installation. next, one day the settop box was not powering on there was a fault in the ac adapter. infromed reliance bigtv curomer care. problem was not solved i kept calling but everytime i got a new complaint no this went on for 2 months! even then it was not solved i bought a new ac adapter from a nearby electrician. and its 5 months now from lodging the complaint but i ve not heard of any one from their side. they just fool innocent people and make money, not interested in customer satisfaction.
              dont ever go for any reliance product in your life.

              BIG TV — BIG TV worst services

              I am a Big TV Costumer. At the time of selecting your service I thought that Reliance is better in service when compared to Tata or Dish, but now I feel BIG TV service/customer service is worst DTH service in the world. This is very bed, I thank Tata is realy best DTH in india, BIG TV is nerver provide service in time and customer care executive not know all things every service like recharge through credit card is very poor balance is update after 2 days instead big tv claim balance is update within 2 hours this is realy very strained. once my disk is not working properly may be his location is slightly change because of rain or some reason BIG TV charge rs 750 only for this thing

              Customer is forced to here unwanted details before arrangement of connecting to customer care executive& that is the most irritating part of the exercise AND then no response, nobody is there to attend.

                I raise request to Shift my Big tv on[protected], request no is[protected], I asked them to come and un install on 1st May 2010, but no-body came and again I raised request on[protected], request no is[protected] and ask them to un install & install same day also I requested to come on before 10:00 AM on[protected], but they came around 5:00 PM and did only un install and they told we need to request once again.

                YOUR CUSTMORE CARE NO IS ALWAYS BUSY and very very poor service, I want you to install application ASAP.

                I am very deeply upset regarding your service, I am BLOGGER, I am going write about this in all POPULAR SOCIAL network and also post in this in http://www.consumercomplaints.in hope this will GENERATE AWARENESS to all the people and hope some reformation happen in your service.

                BIG TV DTH connection — Non Installation of Antenna

                I have purchased Reliance BIGTV DTH connection worth RS2990/= from M/S MONDAL ELECTRONICS & GIFT CENTRE 520, D.H.Road, Behala, Kolkata-700034(Mob No [protected]/[protected]) on[protected].Representative of M/S Mondal, Sh Avijit Das(Mob No[protected]) visited my place @2 No Debigarh, Madhyamgram Kolkata-700129 and delivered me the Set Top Box along with relevant Recharge vouchers.Thereafter nobody from M/S Mondal has turned up for installation of Antenna and LNB.As such the connection has not been activated though they have realised the full payment in respect of the connection.Repeated phone calls to expedite the necessary action hasn't yielded any results whotsoever.Pls take approprite action as deemed fit under these circumstances.

                Hi,
                My Name is Rahul Singh, Smart card no is[protected], Mob No is [protected].
                While initial setup query your executives told that the transfer is FREE of charge within city.
                As i was shifting my location from Yelahanka to BellandurI I called the customer care[protected] for it and they told that the technician will come and do their work and we can shift by carrying the set top box with us. Please note: NO MENTION ABOUT CARRYING ANTENNA WITH US

                I raise request to Shift my Big Tv connection on July 16 2010, (request no is 13071647 and[protected] requested them to come and un install and then re-install but nobody came. The technicians call us to know the address and then disconnect the call without taking any action on the request.

                After a few days the above cases are automatically closed also Rs.350 was deducted from my account (which is contradicting the statement they made earlier) . I raised a case again on July 23 2010 (case no.[protected]. All the customer support executives do is make me repeat my query again and again and keep on transferring calls to other departments. Also the infrastructure is faulty, if I press 3 to transfer to the English process it transfers me to a Hindi or a Kannada process. And when we request the customer support executive to transfer to an escalation contact they either don't know who is the escalation contact or will just put the call on hold without resolving the issue. I wasted almost 5 hours in calling customer support several times

                Finally I manage to get hold of the floor supervisor who confirms that the above request will be completed within 24 hours.

                Initially the technician came to my apartment to re-install but to my surprise un-installation is not yet complete. How foolish of Reliance Big TV employees.

                When i call customer care again they say only un-installation is done. They close the case without doing re-installation. How can one close the case by completing only half of the request. Very Poor Service.

                Its been 7 days and i do not know where is my Antenna. Is it stolen by Reliance Big TV employees??? There is no coordination between the customer support and the technicians who install the Antenna. They blame each other and no work is done. Also I am not using this service since July 16, so whose going to pay for the services they should waive of the charges until they re-install the Antenna.

                Again i call customer care today (Aug. 2 2010) and i face the same thing i.e. customer care executives transferring calls from one department to another and make me repeat my case 10 times. Finally they say the last case for only un-installation (contradicting the statement made by the floor supervisor). What is the company up to? Harassing customers ??

                Also the customer should have visibility over the comments written by the support executive else this (only half the requested being written by floor supervisor) might be repeated with every other customer.

                I have again raised a case[protected] to re-install the Antenna.

                Now the technician calls me (name Rama - Mob no. [protected]) saying my Antenna is lying at some place Hennur and I need to transfer it to the new location. Again it is a contradiction to the statements made by the floor supervisor. This show a clear LACK OF CO-ORDINATION between customer support and technicians. More over they request for charge of Rs. 1000 which was not mentioned by floor supervisor of customer support. This shows a clear LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF POLICIES.

                I was being lied to since the beginning. It is Reliance Big TV's duty to re-install the Antenna. I have been mentally and physically (as i need to be available when you re-install) tortured by the customer support executives!! Please give an ETA and fix it ASAP !!

                NOT ONLY SHOULD YOU FIX IT ASAP BUT ALSO COMPENSATE FOR MY LOSS.
                I am a new Customer of Reliance big tv. From the day one I am not happy with the reliance big tv service.

                VERY VERY POOR SERVICE...

                I am having a reliance multi connection . Two set up boxes for two TV. As per their plan, for the second connection I will have a 50% discount on the recharge amount . Even after the installation I called Customer care and double confirmed about the plan . Customer care people confirmed the plan is multi connection and I will get 50% discount on the recharge of second connection.

                As per the offer, for the first three months the recharge was free and all went fine. But after three months when I called customer care for the enquiry on the recharge they are now telling there is no such offer for your connection. You have to rechage seperatley for each connection which will cost me Rs. 600 /- but as per the offer I should pay only Rs. 450 /-..

                Even when I called customer care for the same issue, they kept me for hold for more than 15 minutes and line got disconnected.

                Also the Reliance Customer CARE service is ALSO VERY POOR. CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE DON'T KNOW how to speak to CUSTOMER...VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SEVICE...

                I WAS VERY VERY HAPPY WITH THE TATA DTH SERVICES but now I can realise that I DID A MISTAKE, MOVED TO RELIANCE DTH SERVICE..

                I am also one among several frustrated customer of Reliance BIG TV. Recently I shifted to my new house and had asked for taking out the antenna and reinstalling in the new location. My new house is just one cross away (hardly 100 mts). For this they charged me Rs.500.. I should say DEMANDED. Frustrated and left with no other choice i paid and they installed. Just one week after this installations, i got problem with few channels not coming properly (even i have subscribed for those channels). I called up the customer service and they said there must be some loose connection and they would send the technician for which they would charge Rs.250. I was surprised to hear this. Just a week before they took Rs.500 from me for re-installation and they are asking Rs.250 from me for not doing their job properly. I spoke to one more person who he claimed to be Customer care manager. But its all of no use. Same problem i encountered when the remote control stopped working for no reason. I replaced the batteries with new ones and tried everything. Still it didnt worked. I called the USELESS customer care.. They said they would send technician and it would charge Rs.200...

                I wonder why they have kept the name 'RELIANCE' when thier products and service is not upto the mark to called 'Reliance'. These people are like beggars and want to make money by providing services by selling down graded quality products and services.

                Recently some thing came to my mind. Earlier when i was a cable TV user, if some channel is not working fine, then i just used to call up the cable guy and he used to come and correct it and wonder what???? He never used to charge a penny from you. Now with the cable people also providing these DTS quality like HATHWAY etc, we can get the same clarity for same money what we are paying for these B*** S**T DTH companies and we dont need to pay additional money for the recurring problems for the unresolving services they offer. I really want to raise this issue at a higher level. I am ready to talk to any HIGHER UPs in the Reliance BIG TV and ask them what benifits customers are getting by taking the DTH service from their company against any cable guy with HATHWAY services.

                If any one know a person (WHO HAVE BASIC MANNERS UNLIKE CC PEOPLE and WILLING HELP from Reilance BIG TV), then please let me know.

                    I am the subscriber of big tv. My smart card no is[protected]. I have paid for one year south bronze pack on November 2009. In this pack regional pack cost is 5rs. But every month they have deducting 35rs for regional pack. and so many times they are stopping services. after recharging some more money then they are providing services. So many times I complained on this issue to customer care executives. But those customer care people not responding. till now they charged me extra 200 rs. and this will be continued for next 8 months also. so i vexed with this people and I want to proceed legally. that is the reasion i am posting this complaint. please take necessary action on this.

                      I opted for credit card payment to recharge my Reliance Big TV account, through their website www.bigtv.co.in - the recharge tab takes to relianceada.com (Reliance Communication) I recharged on 9/4/2010 for Rs 200 which didnt happened, again I tried, this time it accepted. But from my first try the money got deducted from my credit card. I contacted Reliance communication about it and they said that they did not receive any money and advised me to contact the bank. I contacted my bank and found that the money was deducted and they informed to check with Reliance Communications since the money got debited from my credit card. Then, I contacted Reliance Big TV and gave them the transaction reference number which is reflecting in my statement, they took the complaint and gave me a complaint number and told me to wait for 24 hrs. But nothing happened, again I called Reliance this time some other representative took the phone and took the complaint again with a new complaint number saying 24 hrs is over. Again I waited no result - third time I called, some other representative agiain heard the whole story and told he will escalate this to the superiors - took a complaint again. I requested them to send me a mail atleast so that I will have some valid proof but they denied.

                      CHEATERS BIG TIME

                      We were holding smart card number :[protected] .In sep 2012 we recharged for a bronze pack valid for 1 year and they said we have to disconnect the call and call back again.First of all they put us on hold for atleast 20minutes.We called again and confirmed that we are taking the one year package .We wasted atleast one and half hours for it.

                      Now in April2013 our account shows suspended.We called them up today and it was such a hell.the first executive who picked the call ILAKKYA said that the amount was deducted on monthly basis because we didnt call back and confirm to them that we need 1 year subscription.We tried explaining to her that we did call back and to please check the records.She kept on repeating the same thing like a machine that &quot;please recharge ..please recharge.&quot; she didnt even listen to us properly.We told her to connect to her manager.Who was another arrogant femaile.:LAVANYA:.she said that she is the top most manager at the office .she was not even listening to us.She kept blabbering .We told her we would take her to court.How can a manager be so arrogant?we lost our cool .

                      Dont they train how to handle customers.This lavanya kept putting us on mute which irritated us even more. We told them to take the request for deinstallation.She said she cannot do that.We told to connect to that same person who took the call last year.She said she has no provision to transfer call.She cannot take a complaint request .we got super pissed off.

                      She started off like a machine &quot;sir please recharge to avail our services and just DISCONNECTED THE CALL.

                      People please dont BUY RELIANCE BIG TV.BIG TIME CHEATORS !!!

                        Your customer Care service executive on 6th march 2010 for resolving the problem. When i called first time during 6-8pm executive taken my
                        Request and said your problem will be rectified within 24 hours(for your information my setup box in guarantee period and the same had inform to costumer care ). But after waiting 4 and 5 days no action taken from your end than I call again in costumer care and he said your number is not available so we can not rectified your problem and close your complain but you also check my last month phone detail continue I was received all call and able. Then he was again resisted my problem dataed12march 2010 and say again with in 24 hr. problem will be resolve and after that your technical engineer come and check, he said your setup box is corrupt and it will be replace but in this time we have not any new setup box so will arrange. Again after 4 and 5 days I call you costumer care Executive tells me our engineer rectified your problem yester day evening. I am very shocked what he told. And I am again discussed but no result comes than I again resister (3rd time) my complain on dated 31 march,2010 time-7:04pm after two day engineer visited and tell again same setup box is corrupt and it will be replace but in this time we have not available and we can try to arrange very soon. After 2 days later I have seen that no action taken you’re your end problem is still as it is. So i called to Customer service and he transferred to Senior Technical department for solution but only discussion and discussion.
                        Your engineer continuously saying we have not any setup box so you inform to costumer care and tell the same wording when I call costumer care every time insure me problem will be rectified with in two days today is April 13, 2010 I am continue suffering and my account balance is continually deduct without use and I am not under stand what service you are provide it is very shameful to reliance big TV and reliance group after one and half problem is as it is. You can also check my phone detail in between this period how many follow up form my end my resister phone no. is [protected] in your costumer care. I have never seen through out in my life bed service age provide by a big group so Please have a look

                          A representative of Reliance Big TV visited my house on 3rd April, 2010 and took a Cheque amounting to Rs.1790/- assuring me that the Dish and Set-top Box will be provided to me withing 5 days, i.e. by the next weekend (10th 11th April, 2010). Till date, nothing has been provided to me and my frequent calls to the representative Mr. Tarun Kumar (Mobile No.[protected]) and his Senior Mr. Mishra (Mobile No.[protected]) is just a vain effort, as none of them picks up their cell phone. Though I spoke to Mr. Mishra on 11th and he asked me to send a sms mentioning the cheque no and my contact no, which i did immediately, after that my calls to both of them were not picked up. The cheque has been cleared from my bank on 6th April, 2010 and the company i.e. APPCO Marketing (I) Pvt. Ltd. has received the payment.

                              My Big tv is not showing up all the channels which are in my pack.the customer care says that it would take two days for their engineer to visit us and sort the problem.But since then I have filed three complaints but till date no action has been taken.No engineer has visited us even after 10 days.Please look into the issue and do the needfull.

                              Reliance Big TV — not showing said channels

                              When I purchased their 1 year plan in Oct 08, they provided me a list of channels including NDTV pack. But after 1 month they stopped showing these channels. When I contacted Customer Care, they said after deewali plan is changed, so you will not be able to see those channels.

                              BIG TV — Not able to see subscribed channels

                              With great hopes I selected Reliance BIG TV service on 31st Jan 2009. The service was activated on 01-Feb-2009. With in one months time I am deeply regretting decision of selecting BIG TV as service provider. I am not getting what I paid for since last three days.

                              on 1st Feb 2009 I had selected for Starter pack 2 (with Regional pack Marathi) and activated Kids Plus. Suddenly from 20th Feb 2009 all channels from Starter Pack (Except GyanDarshan) were disappeared.

                              Trouble time started for us. We called customer care number immediately, they assured that the problem would be resolved within next four hours and instructed us to keep STB on standby mode for 4 hour. Considering Reliance reputation we thought that the problem would be resolved as promised. NOW EVEN AFTER 3 DAYS THE PROBLEM REMAINS UNRESOLVED.

                              Since last 3 days we have called BIG TV consumer care for 5 to 6 times. This is how each call goes

                              - Call goes to operator (1st line support)
                              - Every call he/she asks for smart card number and asks the problem
                              - Conversation lasts for 10 to 15 mins, promises to solve the problem
                              - We are not happy with answer, call goes to senior (2nd line support)
                              - I hold the phone for 10 minutes before senior comes on the call
                              - Senior promises to look into the problem personally and again I get time-line of 4 hours to solve the problem. I get new complaint number.

                              Following are the complaint number I got till date 89628634, 89664617, 89706348. I stopped writing down complaint number now.

                              I would appreciate if you can help me to get a compensation for all the pain that I am going through.

                                hello sir, i have recharged my bigtv account with smartcard no.[protected] with Rs525 on 17 March 2010 and activated 3 months bronze pack which cost Rs424. but my big tv had some signal problem for which i requested Customer care to resolve. they told me that our engineer will come for free and you will be deducted Rs175 from ur account for which i agreed. Engineer called me on phone and told that i will only come i[censored] pay rs 200 to me. i called cus. care again and they made complaint again. Engineer told the same word. when i get tired calling customer care becoz nothing was done of their complaints and i agreed to pay engineer Rs200. he solved my problem on 02 April 201. But the Big Tv customer care has deducted my account by Rs 337 as my account balance is - 237. So i want necessary and immediate action about it and need my balance back.

                                  Reliance Big TV — BIG TV Recharge

                                  I had recharged Rs 2000 on my DTH user ID:[protected] through direct net banking facility on 20 Oct 09, so far my account is not updated & I am unable to view the channels.
                                  I have contacted the customer care 5 times so far & there has been no solutions yet to my issue. Further to get in touch with a customer care personnel for logging a complain, it takes nearly half an hour. Having contacted 5 times so far regarding the issue, only twice I was given with a complaint No. which are[protected] &[protected]. The services provided by BIG TV are the worst. I hope some seriously looks into the customer issues & provide a better service.

                                    Approximately one and Half year before I bought Relience Big TV DTH service at my home having one subscription free offer ..
                                    After completion of one year I recharged bigTV card with Rs. 200 and the previous pack get activated.
                                    after completion of validity I never recharged BigTV card.. and i got all services terminated..
                                    I dont have any objection with that .

                                    but service provider coming to me again and again and warn me to recharge your BIG TV card otherwise we will remove setTop box and dish.
                                    I am not getting reason behind removing SET TOP BOX and dish .. as already I paid for it

                                      I received a new BIG TV connection today(23/03/2010) after i paid for it on 14/03/2010.The problem is i'm not satisfied with the services as well as the connection.I wish to with draw the connection.But, when i contacted the customer care in this regard there was a stren reply saying that i would not receive any refund of the Rs 1790 i paid to obtain the connection even if i return the connection the same day.I feel cheated as the offer and the services promised by the marketing exicutive who visited my house to sell the connection are not present in the original product.

                                      Please help me in this regard as how to proceed further to claim my money back.

Loacl service provider of Jind creating problem. He intensely tempered with the Big TV disc installed on my house in my absence and now misbehaving with me . kildly look into the matter and instruct him to solve the problem.                                         COMPLAINT : On 13th march 2010, my account balance was Rs.252.90 and on 14th march 2010 it just Rs.161.86 left.

                                        Taking out the services charges Rs.17 (1 silver,1 silver plus,2 addones of 28,1 regional of 34), where is my Rs.75 gone.
