Hi,

I am Naresh. We bought Reliance Big TV on November 1, 2008 for Rs 2190. With this plan we opt telugu as regional package.But during installation they gave tamil package. We logged a complaint regarding this issue on 18 November. They cancel tamil package but they didnt change to telugu package.Now we are not getting neither of the packages.We are calling customer center daily and we raise eight complaints regarding this issue.After finishing of their SLA time they are simply closing the ticket.They are not bother whether the issue is resolved or not.By the by they dont give any of their office addresses in bangalore.Reliance Big TV is not giving better services, so better not to take Big Tv.

BIG TV — Ticket missed

We bought Reliance Big TV on january 24, 2009 for Rs 1490. + 700. 6 month package With this plan we opt kannada as regional .i watching two month. but no channel comming. our next recharge date is 22 july 2009. We logged a complaint regarding this issue on 29 march.We are calling customer center daily and we raise four complaints regarding . smart card no.[protected]

I Mohammed installed big tv recently i visted ur showroom located in r.t.nagar i was directed to buy the connection through a dealer instead of giving the service from ur showroom...the staff was very arrogant ( u wanna buy u buy if not its ur wish ) i was told these things...jus cos i compared things with the other providers it is obvious to be concerned abt wht u buy ...u jus imagine wht kinda service the showrooms of big tv is providing.

and the relation between the staff and the dealer is of the commission wht they get through diverting the customer saying the service is better through the dealer since the customer care is not bothered abt wht the customer wants or wht his problems are...

well reliance is such a huge company which can bear such losses, the fact is the customer is the end part who losses his or her time and many more things in such acts done by the company and the dealer. the company is least bothered abt the customers after the sales the service is worst try to improvise the service part ...

Reliance Smart — not giving the address of customer care office

the orissa customer care executives are not giving the addresses of customer care office.if a customer wants to go and lodge any important complaint,where he/she will go?and the customer care nos are most of the times busy.
DEAR SIR,
I HAVE PURCHASED THREE MULTIPLE CONNECTION OF ON 23/09/2008, IT WAS FREE FOR ONE YEAR WITH POPULAR PACK.

NOW FREE PERIOD HAS BEEN OVER. AND I HAVE RECHARGED IT WITH 6700/-ON 25/09/2009, FOR DIAMOND PACK FOR 12 MONTHS IN ALL THREE CONNECTIONS.I WAS TOLD THAT CHARGES WILL BE APPLICABLE AS RS. 2978/-FOR FIRST CONNECTION AND RS. 1787/-ON REMAINING TWO CONNECTION.

TOTAL AMOUNT SHOULD BE RS.6552/- FOR ONE YEAR

NOW I HAVE ACTIVATED MY CARD N.[protected],[protected] WITH DIAMOND PACK FOR ONE YEAR.

BUT NOW they HAVE NOT ACTIVATED MY THIRD CARD[protected]

THEIR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE TELL ME THAT THEY HAVE DEDUCTED RS.2978/- FOR MY SECOND CARD BUT IT SHOULD BE RS.1787/- DUE TO THIS MY THIRD CARD STILL PENDING FOR ACTIVATION.

i have not received any service from reliance representative and deducted Rs. 185 from my recharge balance

Coupon No :- [protected]. i have just also call to customer care for the attending my compalin but no one is coming to my place so please help me or guide me who will me give the service. When i just contact to toll free regarding my complain they are just saying that from your site engg just updated to us that you don't want the service. But i want the service so please again requesting you provide me your service...!!

    Change in offered pack from premium to lite pack

    I had purchased big Tv on this Diwali.At that time i had paid Rs. 2690 i.e. premium pack for six months. But when at instalation time due to the mistake of engineer who was came for installation wrong pack was activated. Even after complain they are not able to solve it & moreover telling me to recharge more amount of voucher to get premium pack (additional Rs. 1100) So it really a very bad service from their. So why they are hiring such...

    I had bought Reliance big tv on[protected] and same day it was installed by technical team of reliace . But on that day all channels as per my package was not shown on my tv. I have asked from customer care they told me that by mistakenly a wrong pack (Plain pack) is installed on my big tv althogh i had taken pack of 2690 . but as per 2690 all channels are not coming in my tv. I had lounge a complain to big tv customer care they told me this problem will be solved within 7 days. After waiting for 7 days prolem was still the same. I had again call to customer care and they told me within 48 hours it will be solved.but till day this problem is remains same.

    my appeal to all the customer who are thinking to buy big tv please do not buy this pathetic big tv product as their service is too too bad. i am ashaming on my self why i had purchased this product, instead of that i could had purchased tata sky . i had lost my money please you people dont do the same

    Reliance Big TV — regarding south channels invisible

    Dear Sir, My Big tv sim No.[protected] and I lodged my complaint on 04 Nov 2008 to reconnect south channels(Tamil language) but till now the complaint was not rectified. please rectify the same at the earliest.

    BIG TV — all chanels are not working

    i have complainted several time to the customer care.now also the chanels are not working
    inspite of several complints for somany days after recharging/renewal yet I have not seen transmission of channels on screen very very bad to say this..[protected]
    Even now yet not solved we're going to file procedings in the court of law against bigtv..hence kindly take steps ...Smart Card.No. is[protected]

      bar bar phone karne ke bad kareeb 15 din bad aaya aur standby main doosara smart card de gaya jo ki 15 din ke bad kharab ho gaya ab use phone karte hain ya service center jate hain to sirf bevkuf banane ke sivaye unke ya Distributer ya customer care ke pas aur koi kam nahi hai. 3 months ka subscripsen free kah kar big tv becha jata hai aur custmor sirf THAGA SA MAHSOOS KARAT HAI. Mujhe pata hai is par koi action nahi liya jayega lekin jo hua wo likh diya.

      15-12-08 ko ye sab likh raha hoon dekhta hoon aap sunte hain ya NAHI ? other wise I will take legual action agenest all of you..

        I bought big tv "max pac" worth rs. 4990 on 06.10.08 bt due to the fault of the big technician he recarged the amount of rs. 4890 only leaving the rs. 100 recharge, we didnt knw abt ths, but after 15 days the service stopped completly, so we complained, the people at the customer care restored the service, but the people at customer care didnt inform us tht rs 100 were less.In the next 1 and haif month the service was stopped 3 times again, ths time they told us the details had not reached thm but we had already given the specified details.We called them 'n' number of times to restart the service, After that the service was restored but the pac was converted to "premium pac" of rs 3990 with reduced channel, they told us to recharge with rs. 100 so got it done, but still some channel were not working, now they are saying you hav converted to "max pac" after 1 november, the original offer has expired so you need to recharge with rs 40 to restore ndtv channels and pay fr other south channels, which are now not in offer.Please restore all the channels that were provided in the offer.

        BIG TV (Reliance DTH Service) — Worst DTH Service

        I have unfortunately taken Big TV connection on September 21st. The installation was done but it took 6 days for activation. I had to see a blue screen on my tv for 5 days. After 1 month i realised the wrong pack has been activated. The channels i have subscribed for have been blocked. I have called up their call centre atleast 3 times a day for last 1 week. The customer care is very unprofessional. They dont have any technical expertise. All they do is take complaints and do nothing about it.

        My problem is still not solved and my Rs. 3990 has gone down the drain. It is my humble request to all the people to not take a new Big TV connection, I dont want other people to go through this really irritating ordeal.
        I just got the connection on 5.2.2009 and Ref:[protected] also got the leaflet and i was surprised to note that chennal like NDTV IMAGINE etc.:(which I was enjoying earlier thru cable) not coming and it seems I have to pay extra for this.WHY ? I have gone for South Starter Pack :150 chennals (Smart south offere Rs.2190.00 I had big expectations fromBIG TV . Please inform.

          My name is Jagannath from Coimbatore and I purchased the Reliance BIG TV on the 29th Nov 2008. The package on the offer was for Rs 1990/- and it included the STB, the standard channels, plus 32 premium movie channels and 1 regional pack. We were happy to see the offer and we purchased the offer by paying Rs 1990/-. The dealer gave us the STB in hand and said that the dish would be installed in the next day.However, even after a day no installation was made. The next working day I contacted the dealer; and he told me that my phone number was unreachable. Upon examination, we figured out that the technician had noted a wrong phone number with a digit in the phone number missing (what lousy technicians)!!! So the next day after complaining to the dealer the technician came and installed the dish, and told us that within the next 24 hours all the package will be available. However, even after a week we are still not getting the package we paid for.
          Upon complaining for the past few days, the customer service tells us that a wrong package for Rs 1490/- had been activated and that a complaint has been registered and that they would look into the issue. The customer care tells me that the package we paid for will be available in the next 48 hours. However, even after 72 hours nothing is available other than the free channels, like DD :) My complaint number with Reliance customer care is 82094729. Could anyone in this forum kick the of the Reliance guys and get the correct pack for Rs 1990/- activated!!
          Reliance BIG TV is a BIG CHEATER. Do not buy BIG TV... and waste your money... GO FOR TATA SKY they are the best in the business, my parents have been using TATA SKY and it is the best. I would suggest that we all should take Reliance to the court and make this Anil Ambani pay through his nose for all the cheating he is doing.

          I do have the same problem. Customer Care doesn't care. Six complaint numbers. Still no action. If everything goes well, it's okay. Otherwise it's all pathetic.
          Reliance BIG Tv is a Big Thief, they believe in looting customers.

            I subscribed SMART SOUTH 2190(BIG TV)…… The broacher they distributed states that they offer some free channels up to 1 year for this package … So I verified and bought it …. after a month( at presnet ) i am not getting NDTV Profit channel when i called the customer care, they tell me this channel does not come under offer so if you want to view this channel you have to pay now ….. I am having the broacher they distributed…. in that NDTV profit comes under the offer .. Please kindly advice me can i take it this issue to the consumer court.

            if any one have Reliance Anil group higher officials mail ID send it to my mail ID .

            Iam also subscriber of Reliance Big TV. even though RCV were debited for MAX Pack I never received the same From 28th December onwards I regularly registering with Big TV customer by e.mails as well as hot mail.

            Twice their engineers attended personally - and it was obvious that nobody from Reliance Big TV is competent to sort the problem neither they are serious about the complaints and they don't care.

            I would rather warn each of you wishing to avail Reliance Big TV DTH please avoid as it will save you from loss of money and heart burns.

            Today I am with out the service because after paying the money there is no guarantee of service.

              MY NIECE GOT THE CONNECTION OF BIG TV IN THE MONTH OF OCT 2008, UNFORTUNATELY IT IS LEARNT THAT THE CHEATER GROUP IS OPERATING THE ENTIRE SHOW. THE COMPLAINT REGISTERED EVERY TIME AND CUSTOMER CARE WILL PROMISE TO SET RIGHT THINGS WITHIN 48 HOURS. THE CUSTOMER CARE AT MANGALORE CITY IS VERY RUDE AND NOT PREPARED TO LISTEN THE PROBLEM OF CUSTOMER. THE CONNECTION NUMBER IS[protected] INSTALLED BY OMEGA COMMUNICATIONS MANGALORE A AGENCY APPOINTED BY BIG TV IN MANGALORE AREA. THE SCHEME COMES UNDER ONE YEAR OFFER AND UNFORTUNATELY TV HAS BECOME A SHOW PIECE IN THEIR HOME. WHAT IS SOLUTION FOR THIS. PLANNING TO PRESENT AT CONSUMER FORUM.

              Once of the worst kind of customer service, one would get fully fed up and frustrated as there is absolutely no display of channels either do any customer service executives ensure that your call has been attended to... Only big talks but absolutely no after sales service, so unfortunate are the people who buy the Reliance Big TV :(
              Well we all know big tv has hanging probleme while surfing through non activated channels so i tried to download the Softwere manuelly after downloading the Softwere its work ok but when i switch the stb off and turned it on there was again installation screen displayed on the screen then i had registered the problem there was on response god help up

                Me and my wife go to work
                No Installation for 2 months after buying.
                Installation crew coming without appointment and at times they please.
                No appointments are fixed and work orders are closed without installation.
                Really sorry I bought this and will never buy anything from ADAG ever again.

                The problem yet to be sorted out.

                In spite of repeated complaints no one is responding my complaints for which i am deprieved of watching the telivision which is a pass time for me after the office hours.
                Reapeated calls to yours service centre is falling in the deaf ears of your service centre.
                The silence from your side is deafening. Under the circumstances i am dwaing your kind attention to my problems and looking forward for a instant solution within 24 hrs.
                failing which i will have no option other than knocking the door of consumer forum for due redressal of my grievences.

                  I made a purchase of Reliance BigTv on November 14, 2008. After 5 days the installation person installed the equipments and later on they said that there is a problem in Set top box and told me that they will replace within 12hours later on after so many times calling customer care on Nov-28-2008 they changed the set top box and again there was problem in activation. Till today no one has attended to my call despite calling the customer care somany times.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I Mr M Ramgopal a Customer of Big TV with Smart Card No.[protected].Sku Code : DW[protected] and welcome Kit No. [protected]
                    My Big TV was installed on 22 Oct 08, and Immediately I could view all the channels i.e. approx 176 Channels.
                    I have selected for South Smart popular 2690/- offer with Telugu plus as regional pack.
                    I have paid 1490/- for set top box and recharged with 1500/-so that 1200 will be cut for package and balance 300/- can be used for movie on demand.
                    But suddenly on 16 Nov 08 All the channels were cut and only the Telugu Plus and Hindi Punjabi Plus channels are available. I have informed the same to customer care at 1600 Hrs on 16 Nov 08. They have promised me that my channels will be activated within 48 Hrs for that a request has been forwarded for the concerd department.But there was no responce. From 16 Nov to Till Date the following is the story going on but no action has been taken. I have called back the customer care and requested for activation of the channels, They have lodge a complaint 80682878 on 18 Nov 08( Spoken to Mr Surojith). But no response. Again a lodge another complaing after 48 Hrs. i.e on 20 Nov. No.[protected] Spoken to Mr Amit). Still Noresponce and my both the complaints have been closedwithout any intimation.Spoken again on 21 Nov. to Mr Sunil Kumar, On 22 Nov Spoken to Mr Banti, on 24 to Mr Ajay and Floor Supervisor Navdeep at 2100 Hrs.No Response.Again spoken to Miss Esha Rana on 25 Nov, when requested to transfer the call to Floor supervisor she has cut my call, Again ranged up and spoken to Mr Rahul and requested to Lodge a complaint against Miss Esha Rana, He said I have Lodge a complaint and promised to take the case personnely and solve it at the earliest. Again call back and spoken to Mr Rupesh to conform weather a complaint against Miss Esha Rana has been Lodge or not, It is found that No such complaint has been lodge. Requested to Mr Rupesh to transfer the call to floor supervisor, Spoken to Mr Mahinder, He has promised that Our engineer will call you tomorrow and will solve your problem. Ofcourse Engineer from Mumbai has called us and taken all the details but still no action has been taken. Called back customer care again on 27 Nov at 2000 Hrs and spoken to Mr Suresh and requested him to transfer my call to Floor supervisor He said No supervisor is available now call me back after 2200 Hrs I will connect to him. When I told him that If I call at 2200 Hrs Some third person will attend and I have to explain all rthe story starting from 16 Nov to him, then he said I am setting your phone number such that your call will come to me only. I have believed him and disconnected the call. Again called back to conform whether my call goes to him directly, Miss Latha attended my call and conformed me that there is no such provision that a perticular customers call goes to a perticular customercare executive. I have requested her to lodge a complaint against him, No. 81504738.Spoken to Mr Rahul again on 28 Nov at 1310 Hrs, Mr Sunil at 1320 Hrs He said I am refreshing the channels and Your channels will be activated within 02 Hrs. Again called bact at 1730 Hrs and conformed the status of my complaints, they have been closed unsolved. again another complaint 81575794 has been lodge. Called again on 01 Dec and conformed the status of the complaint, it is closed without solving. lodge another complaint 81853759, spken to Mr Mohammed and requested him to transfer the call to floor supervisor, while transfering the call the connection was cut. again Mr Farook attended the call, and when requested to transfer the call he said there is no provision of transfering the call to floor supervisor, when insisted too he did not accept and told me to disconnect the call. When I refused to disconnect the call untill my call is transfered to floor supervisor, He said I will see untill when you will hold the call, When I too took it as a challenge he simply disconnected my call. Again I called back, luckly it was mr Mohammed again, I have requested him to transfer the call, He transfered the call and I have spoken to Floor supervisor Mr Suman david, But still No action has heen taken. What should I do Now, Please help me out.

                      See the Big TV ad now a days. There are 1 million happy customers as per reliance. Actually little typo error is here from reliance it seems, it may be 1 million unhappy customers.
                      I have taken Big TV on 2nd Nov, 2008. But I could not think of this that after taking this it is a big headache for me. I paid the dealer 2190/- for the package and got the setup box. Installation done. He told me that for 3 months all channels are free and after that it would as per the subscription that 1 year around 100 channels will be free.
                      Won't believe, after watching for 26 days, channels were reduced. Even I registered wit hbig tv plan of 2190/-, but they are providing the channels for 1990/- pack. Called the customer care and they said it is 2490/- plan, the plan which does not exist in Karnataka state.
                      Useless customer service and representative told me that they cannot do anything on this.
                      I have seen people having Big TV are buying another set top box from different providers to have satisfaction.
                      So by cheating (once you take you cannot return back) reliance made 1 million unhappy customer.
                      Remember boss, its Rs 500/- cdma phone from reliance.
                      So check before you step in Big TV.
                      Quality : Local cable television quality is nice than Big TV compare to Audio and Video. Remote is very slow.
                      They are unfit to run business. I am just not happy but terribly annoyed. I am placing my complaints before Consumer forum. It is simple procedure, do not panic. Demand Rs 200000/- as compensation. You would definelty get it. They are no one fraud in the field.

                      Never we should allow them to do this anymore.

                      Reliance Big TV — Useless

                      I had brought three big tv connections. Quality of picture transmission is very good. Their service is pathetic. Never seen more discourteous , disconnected disoriented team from top to bottom. At times they behave las if someone forced them into this business. I have all the three set up box. The eye sore antenna is also there on top of my house. I have removed all the three set up box and went and bought three Airtel set up box with the dish antenna.

                        my complaint against recharge the Big TV card, after recharging many channels have abolihed from the list. Whay this has happened. Many times, I called your customers care but i am not getting any respones. There is no need launch this type of service if you can not handle this type of seriour problems. if this problem presist i can put up the matter in consumer court. So please look into the matter. Detail of the channel which have abolihed from the list.

                        well i m marathi custemer. I want to see Star Pravah &Saam marathi channel which are free to air on my big tv connection
                        Unabel to view kannada channels in TATA SKY DTH

                        I am using tata sky from past 10 months, the service is good, i have complained about non availability of kannada channels
                        1) ZEE KANNADA
                        2) KASTURI KANNADA

                        BUT still we are not getting the channels, IN our state karnataka atleast we have to get all kannada channels . Please try to telecast kannnada channels mentioned above as soon as possible

                          While scrolling with remote i.e. while going thru menu, set top box hangs and picture freezes. This is the problem right from the first day. Their technician also agreed to it and advised to scroll slowly. This particular performance is much better of other brands DTH systems available in India. Initial Complaint reported at help line didnot help so finally wrote to CEO, later their technicial attended and changed the set top box but problem is still there. It appears that there is some software or hardware problem in the system. No solution yet.

                          I am also having same problem of freezing and screen hangs up so many times.
                          Actually, this service of Reliance is not fit and the Customer Care Support is very Bad.

                          my set top box suddenly went off, last three months several times i was complaint it, but still no action, but they recovered 175 rupees in my account for the problem was solved, what can i do, my problem, did not clear but i lost my money, please arrange to solve my complaint.my set box no[protected]

                            Dear Sir,

                            With reference to above the customer has to inform as under;

                            1 That, I am sorry to inform you that it is a fradulent act on the part of service providers from Reliance Big TV DTH as an incomplete installation to Bigtv was done in absence of electricity on 17.11.2008.It still remains in activated till date ie. on 20.11.2008.

                            2 That, next surprise is that a Complaint number and 80769790 dt 19.11.2008 was fradulently closed by some service engineer with a wrong remark as customer unreachable.The Complaint number 80769790 was not attended by ReLIANCe at all.

                            3 That, I do not understand as to how a complaint number 80769790 was also given to me on Call[protected] dated 18.11.2008, which the customer care is now denying.

                            4 That, a RF Connector with extended cable was requested to be supplied to the customer to run another TV, which remains unattended.

                            5 That, the local Reliance customer care attendents and the service engineers are malfunctioning in hands and globe with the local cable operators, which you are unable to control. The customer appears to be defrauded by Reliance Big TV Limited and its call centre[protected]. The customer does not understand as what to do with the dumy Big TV DTH box supplied by ReLIANCe.

                            Kindly arrange to ractify my complaint today ie. on 20.11.2008, failing which the customer shall be bound to refer the matter to our legal advisors and recover the losses and damages caused by Big TV DTH service, ReLIANCe BIG TV Limited and its call centre[protected].

                            Lot of my friends told that won’t be any service from RELIANCE,

                              I had the Big TV installed late Sept, the installation was not done properly my LCD tv screen is 50", I was told by the engineer that due to larger screen size the grains are showing and in a day or so the picture quality would improve as the installation was impacted by cloudy sky. It took them more than 4 hours to install. Since then I had been chasing and chasing, the engineer came once in Late October and advised us to try the changes he has done, but again to no difference. The complaint has been closed and no further compliant is being entertained. Each time call to 1 800 number is lasting more than 20 mins and only assurance is given that some one will visit in 48 hrs. There Gugaon based franchise (Mr. Satish) states it is not possible to improve picture quality due to Larger LCD screen. I had been asking to refund the money and take away setup box and cancel subscription, but to no avail. I even told them that I am left with only option viz to take the matter to consumer court. It seems there are many people impacted by poor service levels.

                              Anyone willing to share the poor service, please respond to join the complaint with consumer court. I have had enough for last 3 months of poor picture quality (like used video tape), there are times when even the faces of the person is not visible properly. IS there any law or anyone from Reliance listening that they are forcing me and my familty to watch rubbish tv for last 3 months and I have reached a level that I feel like being harrased and captive to Reliance disgraced product.

                                Hi,

                                It has been 1 month till now where i have raised 4 complaints for faulty set top box of Reliance big TV. But till now nobody have responed.. And whenever I contact their call center they always raise one more new complaint...but there is no one who attends the compliant. I am not sure how to take this forward.. I formally want to raise a consumer court compliant..since my one month is already gone waste though I have paid for the entire year in advance...
                                Same problem with my setup box and same response from the customer care, always they tell the setup boxes are shortage but the will not give any timeline when they are available and when it will be fitted. Worst DTH service from BIG TB and I have paid for the entire year

                                  Hi,
                                  I got installed Reliance BIG TV DTH in the month of may under the reliance energy customer scheme. The offer along with the installation was 5 month free subscription. My free subscription expired on 15th may and to reactivate the services i was asked by the Big TV cust care to recharge the acount and then on recharging the same by amount 500, i came to know from the cust care that there was an initial negative balance of 765 which after the recharge amounts to Rs 265. I have no idea from where this negative balance came and to my surprise even the cust care people are unable to answer the same.
                                  On my repeated calling the complaint have been escalated and was accepted by their team leader that due to some error in their system the negative balance is shown and was told that the same will be rectified and my services will be renewed in next 24hrs.

                                  I have called up customer care almost 35 times and is always given an assurance that complaint will be sorted in 24hrs but the same has not been done after 6 days.

                                  relience big tv is a stupid company... its only mera bap ka sapna... for people its a sapna because u dono when it will work properly for it to becom sap ka appna... customer care just disconnect the call they give only 1 reason server is down... if i have to say its a f... company who are not fit to broadcast tv channels and also the mobile service is sick...

                                    Beware of Reliance Big TV engineers cheating you
                                    Big Tv installation engineers cheated me of 200 rs. If you take the 2190 package you get two vouchers for Rs.500 and rs. 200. The engineer who installed the channels used my coupons for installations and used the rs.500 to upload my package to 1990 and used the 200 to update some one else package. In the first month all the channels work so you wont notice a thing. After the first month is when you will notice what channels are missing. The result I was fleeced of rs.200 . When I phoned the customer care I got a complaint number 80583037 but the customer care told me that they cannot do anything about it and the supervisor tells me that I should put up with it and pay the rs.200 bucks.
                                    It is not the rs.200 that matter but I hate the insolence and high handedness of the people after having cheated you. This is a good product but I feel very sorry for having bought it now

                                    I subscribed for Starter 1 and regional pack Marathi on 17/10/2008 after succesfull recharged of Rs 100 but upto 20/10/2008 the channels are not showing on my TV
                                    Upto date i made so many complaints to customer care but the above problem become unsolved
                                    When i call he (c.c. ex.) said that the problem solved with in 48 hours.

                                      Hi,
                                      Reliance Big TV connection purchased at reliance world store at tarnaka, secunderabad on Oct 3rd, 2008. Executive had no clue on terms & conditions of installation & connection. I have asked for transfer of connection from hyde to Bangalore. The charges are Rs. 750 /-!!! The connection pack was Rs. 2190. Nowhere is the transfer clause mentioned in - 1) brochure that is given wiht teh set top box 2) leaflet that is used for marketing 3) web site does not mention this. Only their mysterious customer care knows this information and apparently "their system shows so". As far as I understand customer ought to be shared the full terms of sale and the onus lies on both buyer & seller. In this case I have made effort of asking at the outlet before purchasing and I didn't get adequate information. Now I repent for having trapped by Reliance. Rs. 750 /- for re-installation is day light robbery and God Save India from Reliance, Big Time!.

                                      My services suddenly stopped, it says poor/intermediate signal and they are demanding Rs 170 from me for attending the problem. They are randomly selecting people and switching off their signal and demanding Rs 170 to restart again. Same dish, same wires, same set top box how come signal is lost now?????????

                                      Any organisation if you are active customer, they should first check the problem, if there is any fault then they should cherge for repairing. But here, these guys are asking money upfront. Because they know, there is no problem. As soon as u pay, they will activate again.

                                      Anil Ambani have a dream to become richer than mukesh, he can go down to any extent to do this... cheap man cheap company
                                      I totally agree with what is said above. the Reliance people are big Cheats!!! I will never buy anything from anywhere remotely relate dto reliance...when i took the Reliance Big TV connection i was told by the provider that the relocation charges were 150. Today when i called to check regarding the same they said that the charges are 350. the amount is not a big matter but the issue is Intergrity which i am sorry to say Reliance (ironic) lacks.
                                      Bloody Robbers these people are. I repent big time with BIG TV!! the biggest mistake of my life.
                                      I got reliance big TV installed two months back and that time I was told that transfer will be free within 3 months within same city. Now when I asked this they said there is no procedure like this and demanding money for transfer. Anil Ambani and all firms are big cheat boycott them.
