I wrote following mail twice (first - 12-Jun-10 & second - 15-Jun-10) to the consumer complaint ID but never got any response nor my problems is resolved till date
Subject: Monthly subscription package changed without my consent

On 8th June, we recharged Big TV connection and updated Balance was Rs 605. Till this date, we had subscription of Bronze pack (Rs 135+Taxes) and Punjabi Regional Pack (Rs 5+Taxes) making it total of Rs 154 monthly rental. Since we wanted to view Hungama TV so I called-up customer care on 9-Jun-2010 at 00:11. Their systems were down so they asked me to call later. Again at 8:25, I called up and was attended by a lady executive. I told her to upgrade my subscription to Silver pack and activate Kids addon pack just for a month. She confirmed that both have been activated and minimum lock-in period is for a month and to deactivate it I need to call-up again and inform them. Monthly charges as confirmed by her was Rs 198 for Silver pack and Rs 28 for Kids pack. This was a total of Rs 226 per month. I too confirmed the activation of 3 required channels - Hungama TV, Pogo and Cartoon Network. By the end of the day, we noticed that Hungama TV is not coming. Thought there might be a temporary problem and will be resolved on its own. But when it didn't corrected for long, called up customer care again at 19:58. To my surprise they told me that after my morning call, another call was made to activate 3 months subscription of Silver pack (which actually I or any body on my behalf never did). I asked them to find the callers name, but they said they didnt recorded. After lot of arguments and discussion, they presented me a stupid idea of continuing with this change to save my money, as any downgrading of plan will still attract the charges of Silver pack.
But my point is when I never instructed them to do so, why should I suffer a loss? Who instructed them to change the plan - is it that they themselves have changed the
plans and now forcing me to continue the same.
Please do the needful to revert back to my instructions of activating Silver pack and kids addon for just one month and find out the root cause of the whole confusion. In no case I agree to bear this loss.

Reliance Big TV — Non attending the complaint No.112095557
Sir,I am a BIG TV Consumer with smart card no.[protected].I have complained about bad picture vide complaint no.[protected] on29.10.2009 .I was told that the problem will be attended within 24 hours.But even after the lapse of almost 90 hours.the said complaint is not attended.The service connection will be dissconnected even if there is a delay of one or two hours in recharging the account and in this regard the company is Big ,But while attendind to the consumer complaint it seems that it is too small or say ZERO.I am continuously in touch with the customer care representative who says that my complaint will be attended very SOOOOOOOOOOON. Only BIG name is not enough,it requires BIG service,
