Totally agree - this happened with me with airtel - some automated number calls you and by picking up the call you activate a plan. In my case it was cricket, prayers and something else - I was paying Rs 90/month for services I did not activate and could not deactivate them - so in the end I gave up my airtel number

I am a consumer of samrt phone-[protected] from last 6 year. last 19th may phone my GSM phone 30 Rs balance deducted after that when I asked customer care they are telling I have been activated news pack But i ever never activated such stupid thing. The way customer centre man was talking with me the way he was talking with I was not satisfied he was telling that nothing to do about this. After that I was calling nodal officer number 10 times and every time it was busy.After that I sent mail to nodal oficer but still i did no get any remedy for this.Reliance Communications — Service Activated
NOIDA([protected])I am using reliance GSM for 2 years.They deducted 30 Rs. saying I had activated News pack, altough they deactivated the service immediately but what about the money I lost,
Now I recharged my phone for 50 Rs(19 may 2011)., to activate automatic message card.But at 9 P.M., my account was just 10 Rs.When I contacted customer care, they said (like always) you have dialed and activated "VOICE service" by dialing number similar to *36*****# (they couldn't specify it).They are saying that they can't refund the money I lost.
Tell me how could anybody exactly dial a number that activates a pack and that number is dialed when I recharged my phone, isn't it great...? Help me (verma.k.[protected]@gmail.com)
P.S.:One of the customer care executive talked me like he was joking at me (talking me in pure Hindi, using some sanskrit words...). He was kind of making fun of me.

Reliance Communications — Vas services auto activated
HiMy no is [protected] ( Reliance GSM). Each day a new commercial pack gets activated automatically and money gets charged from my account. Even though, I have never ever tried to get any commercial Pack. Still, it gets activated. I talked at least thousands times to customer care executives but of no use. They say if money get deducted from your account, it means you have activated it. But, in my all senses, I have never tried to get any pack activated. It has become a regular phenomenon. 3 to 4 pack in each month gets activated. Its simply unbearable. I have done everything from my end to sort out, but customer care executives are at worst in dealing with my problem. This number is very important thats why i like to keep up, other wise i would have changed it. Is there any way to stop the unnecessary pack from being activated. Please help. I am not at ease to cope with the problem.

Reliance Communications — Mis-Selling
Hello Sir/Mem,I am Hardik Joshi. I am residing at Rajkot City (Gujarat). I have joined with Reliance family for wireline broadband connection at January month of 2011. At the time of my subscription to internet connection, one of Reliance sales executive (Mr. Jignesh - [protected]) informed me that my area comprised under list of areas in my city, where there is a discount scheme available from reliance. According to the scheme, a user is eligible to receive benefit of Rs. 75 in the form of discount on each month bill, and this process will continue till 8 to 10 months from the date of subscription. The sales person had also promised me that he will add my user subscription in that scheme, as my area is in that list where scheme is applicable and I will be eligible to receive the benefit from very first bill of January month of 2011. However, till now I have not received any bill which reflects Rs. 75 deduction in the form of discount at my monthly internet bill. Apart from this, whenever I have attempted to call him he either disconnects my call or do not pickup my call. For January and February month I had paid complete Bill as I received from reliance without any discount deduction from them. Last month when I personally caught the sales executive at Reliance Web World in my City, he told me to make payment of only Rs. 475 for March Month Bill (Total Bill Rs. 550 – Discount for March Month Rs. 75), and for the rest amount (January Rs. 75 + February Rs. 75) he again promised me that, he would look after the matter and will adjust the pending discount amount in my April month Bill. In addition to this, he also promised me that at April Month Bill the amount which I will need to pay [Rs. 325 => (Monthly Bill Rs. 550) – (Total Discounted Amount January Rs. 75 + February Rs. 75 + April Rs. 75)]. Later, when I had received April month Bill, I was in shock as it was showing me (Rs. 625 Due Amount), this had happened because (Rs. 550 April Month Bill + Rs. 75 from March Month Bill). I had personally met that sales person once again at Reliance web world, and again he informed me to pay Rs. 475 with promising in same way as he did in April month.
At last I have consulted Nodal Officer (Reliance) of Gujarat Region through email, and informed about complete matter as well. In response to my email, I had received an update that one of reliance executives will be in contact with me shortly and will try to trace and resolve out my issue. On the other hand, Nodal Officer had also generated a service request with reliance customer care for my issue. As a response to that service request, I received an email from reliance customer care that my issue will get resolved in next 72 hours.
But after 72 hours, I am receiving an email from customer care that there is no such scheme available, and no discount is applicable to my INTERNET account. Apart from this nobody contacted me till now to know what the complete matter is all about and nobody had even tried to trace out the issue as mentioned in Nodal Officer email.
The sales executive performed mis-selling to me to achieve his monthly sales target and also behaved with me in rude manner on my phone call. Apart from this I got a call from customer care service center as well that there has been no such scheme ever exist for reliance broadband users. To follow proper escalation cycle, I have first approached sales executive, and then nodalofficer for Gujarat region. And informed the concerned person with all above mentioned details. But even from there also I had received no response till now.

Dear ,I have lost my SIM card while I was in roaming. I am trying to contact Customer care for last 4 hours , but its not reachable . It has to be blocked soon. Since it has been stolen in night, i am not able to register complain as well.

My Mobile No. is [protected]. My handset is misplaced at my home on 13th may,2011 night. I had serched but not found. I have taken another handset and started serching Duplicate Reliance SIM. After 5 days on 21.05.2011 I found duplicate sim at Dader(W) Near Udipi Hotel, Near Thoper House. I have taken duplicate sim and activated by them at 11.00 a. m. approx. After receiving SMS to swichoff the mobile I done it. After one hour I swichon the mobile but no signal was there. I called to customercare & requested for signal. He has asked new sim no.and blocked my sim and assured that after 3 hours I can make the calls.. At 6.43 pm I received sms that my outgoing has barred. Again I called to customer care to unblock the sim. But Mr. Imaran has told me to go again at Dader to unblock the sim. I am anable to understand why firtone customercare reprasentative has blocked my sim? and Why secondone can not unblock it? If by mistake he has blocked the sim, Why I should waste my money and time to going Dader ? Why Reliance has mad customer Reprasentatives ? Mr. Imaran has also not able to understand the facts. He has given me Request No.[protected] but I am not satisfied that what he has written? Kindly look into ythis matter and unblock the sim and ask first one fool representative, Why he had done this ? I am not getting why he is making call on my family's phone. Sometimes he talked very vulgar. Please resolve the issues on priority or give me way to resolve the issue. Reliance Communications — No action on mobile theft complaint
HelloMy phone with reliance sim (+91-[protected]) was stolen on saturday. I called the customer care for deactivation the phone and sim usage using the IMEI number. But they did not give a proper reply and said we cannot do anything, you may call back after 2 hours but at this moment we cannot do anything. I even asked them to note down the number and subscriber's name but they refused to do so.
Kindly help resolving this issue to me.

Hi,I am the user fo reliance CDMA ([protected]).This is such a ridicules thing that without prior notice, reliance stop my mobile service. As per the discussion with customer care company need my document. I have submitted my document at Reliance web world on 19/05/2011, but still (23/05/2011) the my connection is not started. I called to the customer care they told that still my documents are not submtted.
I have to file a case against the reliance.

You have to solve the problums first. Then you manage a commiittee or do any thing for not to repeat the inconvenience to customers. Customer Reprasentative must has to understand the problum and should use the common sence. I have told that signal is not comming, he asked the story and advised to first block the first sim and then signal will come. He assured to do it and told that after three hours my problum will be solved. But insted of solve the problum, he has created the problum that my outgoing calls has been barred. Thank you that HINDI reprasentative in Hindusatan.

Reliance Communications — Unwanted activation of various plans, and deduction of balance without consent
Hi,I use a reliance GSM sim. Today morning, I found that 30 rupees have been automatically deducted from my balance, without my consent or information. When I called the Customer Service, they say that the money is deducted because I have activated some plans, which is completely false.
When I wanted to talk to some higher authority, the customer service put me on a hold, and nobody responded for almost 5-6 mins..
There is no one to answer, who activated this plan, and how. No one to account for the deducted balance.
I am fed up of this type of fake things, the company keeps on doing since a long time.....
These things need to be stopped.
