Reliance Communications — DEDUCTION OF BALANCE BY RELIANCE GSM

1. I AM AN USER OF RELIANCE GSM SERVICES ON BLACKBERRY HANDSET. I HAD BLACKBERRY SERVICES ACTIVATED ON MY NUMBER WHICH GIVES ME UNLIMITED ACCESS TO NET AND SOCIAL NETWORKING ALONG WITH BLACKBERRY MESSENGER (PLAN BBPRBIS210 ).
2. ON THE EVENING OF 29 NOV 12 MY PREPAID BALANCE WAS AROUND Rs. 168.00 AND THEN IN THE NIGHT SUDDENLY BALANCE BECAME Rs. 0.045 .
3. NEXT DAY I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE (COMPLAINT NO.[protected] AND I WAS ASSURED OF A REFUND WITHIN 03 DAYS.
4. I RECEIVED A MSG TODAY AGAIN FROM RELIANCE STATING THAT THE MONEY HAS BEEN DEDUCTED AGAINST INTERNET/GPRS USAGE WHEREAS MY PLAN WAS ACTIVE AND IS STILL ACTIVE GRANTING ME UNLIMITED INTERNET USAGE.
5. FOLLOWING POINTS NEED TO BE CONSIDERED:-
(A) THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE SEEMED TO BE ILL CONVERSANT WITH THE PLANS AVAILABLE WITH RELIANCE AND IT TOOK ME A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME TO MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLACKBERRY PLANS AND REGULAR PLANS.
(B) THIS IS A REGULAR PROBLEM WITH RELIANCE SERVICES AS THEY KEEP DEDUCTING AMOUNTS AND AMBIGUITY EXISTS FOR BLACKBERRY USERS AS THEY ARE TOLD BY BLACKBERRY HELPLINE TO SPEAK TO THE REGULAR HELPLINE AND VICE VERSA IN CASE OF ANY PROBLEM FACED BY A CUSTOMER.
(C) SINCE NOW A DAYS ONE MOBILE NUMBER IS REGISTERED FOR MOBILE BANKING , INTERNET BANKING AND VARIOUS OTHER SERVICES, IT IS DIFFICULT TO CHANGE OPERATOR. AND ALSO SINCE I AM A SERVING NAVAL OFFICER I DO NOT FIND TIME TO RUN BEHIND COMPANIES AND GET MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY DONE.

6. I REQUEST THAT NECESSARY ACTION MUST BE TAKEN AND THE AMOUNT MUST BE REFUNDED AT THE EARLIEST BECAUSE GENERALLY PEOPLE AVOID TAKING TROUBLE FOR SAY Rs.100 OR SOMETHING AND EVEN I GENERALLY DID THE SAME , BUT NOW THIS HAS BECOME SO FREQUENT THAT I WANT TO PUT AN END TO IT NOW AND RAISE THIS ISSUE AT THIS FORUM.

I have taken a reliance net connect+ which was delivered to me on november 12th 2012, but even before the connection was given was given the company sent a bill of Rs 100 on 8th of december this month and the connection was started on 10th of december. And even after it has started the speed of the device is almost equal to null since the pages keep on loading for 20-30minutes but nothing happens the speed that was said when the device was booked is 3Mbps but its not even in kbs and, so i would like the authorities to consider the issue and take the necessary action as soon as possible.

Reliance Communications — Activation of GPRS services without any request from customer

I have taken a new Reliance GSM postpaid connection. Reliance has activated the GPRS services without any request from my end. In case of rest of the service providers they use to activate the GPRS services after a request from customer that way even if the customer has a GPRS enabled handset, they can't browse and hence is a fair relationship will be there between customer and the service provider. Whereas in case of reliance, they are activating some value-added services like GPRS or something and then bombarding the customer with the bills. If we ask them why have you activated the services, they will say sorry and deactivate those services later. By this practice, they are troubling the customer for money. Can anybody help how to escalate this to TRAI or some other monitoring agency to complain against reliance.
