This is Rajesh Selvaraj from Chennai.
I am using this data internet connection - [protected] for more than 2 years, with Rs 850/month - 10 GB plan. I am always using less then allowed GB like 5 GB, 6 GB. But last 3 months, reliance always generating and sending the monthly bills for huge amount - Rs. 1250 for Feb, Rs. 1500 for March and Rs. 5600 for April.
Though I am not using this much, I paid for Feb and March to Reliance. But without considering or intimation, reliance raised bill for Rs. 5600 and sent to me.
And their agents are keep calling me and threatening me to pay the amount. They are threatening me like if I m not paying the amount, they will send the legal notice and bring to court and sue me.
Reliance agents threaten, is highly disturbing my peaceful mind and creating chaos in my life. I told reliance agents to disconnect my line in mail and over phone as well.
They took my disconnect request and provided the SR nos.[protected],[protected]. They themselves barred my connection, and without using the connection, they are sending another bill for Rs. 800 for May 2013.
I would like to log this consumer complaint against reliance unethical business practices and cheating the consumers, and threating the customer to loose their peaceful mind.
I humble to take my consumer complaint and provide a justice to me.

**** This is not the first incident - 3 years back, I had a reliance connection, due to my onsite travel, I have paid them Rs .100 and asked them to put my connection on hold. But they didn't do. Instead they keep sending the monthly rental bill for 6 months. when I call the agents every time, they say "Sorry sir, it is our mistake and we will waived off the amount". But finally and when I was fed up, I told them to disconnect the line". They did it.
But after 1.5 yrs later, they are sending lawyer notice and asking me to pay Rs. 3000. When I went to Madurai reliance customer care office, they ill treated me, i explained them the back ground, and told them my data is correct, told them to bring the data to me. They checked their datas, and accepted that mistake is from their side, and asked Sorry. It is really pathetic situation. My father is very elderly person and he got nervous, when he got the lawyer petition.
Finally they asked Sorry and waived all the amount, and asked me to pay Rs. 500 and I paid that also.

This is unethical customer care and clear cheating from reliance communication towards their customer.
1. They promised 2 MBPS speed, when customer buy their connection. But actual speed is, less than 3 kbps and sometimes 0 kbps. when we call them, agents will says that there is server problem in medvakkam, it will be rectified in a months time. But it never happened in this last one year period.
2. When there is a increase in data, they never informed the customer and alert them in sms or mail. It is really poor and bad technical practice from this compay Reliance.
Hence I would like to log this consumer complaint against Reliance and seeking justice from the consumer court, to get peaceful mind.

Reliance Broadband — low speed in the connection
reliance broad band not giving the internet speed which they are saying. They just not taking care of the customer service. kindly send me the any valuable reason. thanking you by Manikandan.
