I had subscribed to Reliance Broadband's Rs 999 plan which promises 12 Mbps speed on 26.08.2012(Sunday). While browsing, i found the speed to be very low. Downloading at 17 Kbps which is absolutely ridiculous. So I called up the customer care on 27.08.2012(Monday). They registered complaint in my name after checking my user id and told me that the problem will be resolved in 24 hours. But they did nothing and despite repeated calls, the customer care executive only gave me an assurance that they will forward my complaint to their higher authority and that they will call me as soon as possible. But noone called me thereafter. This happened twice.And I am sitting here, feeling cheated.
So little for such a big name "RELIANCE". Totally frustrated. God knows whether they are 'actually' doing anything or just giving baseless assurances.

Reliance Broadband/999 Rs Unlimited — Why should I pay when am not using it?

Hi,

Reliance Broadband connection is one of the worse service I have ever used in my life. It has such a pathetic customer service that the words fall short to explain it. Worst part is forget about the customer service, If the service is good why would a person contact the office... Trust me I have had worse problems with the internet. I have a 999 Unlimited connection. The Speed, Actual Speed what I get is 7 kbps. Isn't that wonderful? So after a series of things that i have gone through, I decided that I will cancel this connection. At the same time I will never recommend this connection to any one. Nor do I have any positive hopes from any product of Reliance.
I would say to every Customer of Reliance to stop going by the brand name... Its just they are faking it. Service and Products are pathetic. My User ID:[protected]

My last question is, with 7kbps speed do i feel like using the service? and when am not using it why should I shell out 999 Rs plus Taxes? 1232 Rs... Does it come for free? What man, When you can not manage or give good service why do you do business? Is that the reason you people are at the ranked to be one of the richest?

    Today on 28.08.12 at 11.45 AM from no. [protected] a very rude lady called stating that she is from legal department of Reliance and calling regarding the phone number [protected] and asked to pay a pending payment of Rs.500 or she is sending me legal notice. This sim along with my phone, I lost in start of January 2012, I filled an FIR at Lajpat Nagar Police Station and submit the FIR copy, paid the complete bill, cleared all my dues at Reliance Web World, Lajpat Nagar and asked to block the sim to avoid any unauthorised use by anyone.

    All was clear than in March 2012, I received the call from Reliance that Rs. 500 is pending for the bill, I have explained humbly that I lost this no., filed fir, cleared payments and blocked the sim so, there can't be any pending bills. Thereafter, every second month I get this pending bill mail and call.

    Today, that etiquette-less lady spoke so ruthlessly and was not ready to listen anything and threatening to send the legal notice.

    Please sort this issue asap as this is very disturbing !

      Reliance Communications provide their own landline phone. My phone number is 32947487. On 4th June 2012, I lodged a complaint with them that the phone is not working. The complaint number given by the company was[protected]. Response to my repeated reminders was that they did not have the necessary parts for the repairs. So, there was no service from the Company till the phone was repaired at long last on 10th July, 2012. And for the billing cycle from 11th June, 2012 to 10th July 2012, the Co. provided their service for only One day, when I made only 3 calls. For those 3 calls the Co. charged me Rs. 562/-. They charged me for the entire billing period, although they provided no service for 29 days of the 30 day period. My repeated complaints to them and even appeal to their Appellate Authority have not given me the redressal from the Co's unjust billing.

        Hi,

        I had bought a Reliance Netconnect USB device with a plan where I paid three months of rental charges in advance, in the month of September 2011.

        I had complained RCOM regarding their disruptive and poor service of the device and software used, for two times.

        At one instance, I got a call from RCOM during the month of October-November, for a feedback about the device and their service. I explained them all the glitches and informed them that it is really hard to use their service because of poor network coverage, poor performance of software being used to connect to the internet through their USB device, ultimately I ended up with frustration using their device.

        In the month on December (27th Dec,’2012) I migrated to Noida, during first week of january, I observed the services again because of my changed geographic location, but still there was no improvement in the services ultimately, I decided to completely discontinue the use of the device.

        On 15/14 February, logged a complaint to RCOM customer care, for discontinuing the services for my device.
        On 16th/17th Feb, I paid some 200 Rupees against the usage charges for the device, for the month of February.

        Later on I got the bill of amount Rs:984.18, it includes the rental charges for the whole month of January, wherein I did not use their device and services at all.

        I told them on the email communication, that I ‘ll only be paying the amount only for the time for which I have used their services and not for the full month, because there was no action taken on any of my repeated requests to enhance the software or change the device which I was using.

        They did not revert to me with any solution or did not tell me about what all are my usage charges and what all is the rent amount included in the bill of Rs:984.18
        and without any prior intimation they issued a Pre Litigation in my name.

        However, I have replied them, that appearing for this Pre Litigation is not feasible for me as I am out of the state. This is the way RCOM is harassing their customers, with poor services and on top of that, legal notices without intimations or efforts to settle the disputes.

          I have requested to disconnect my data card connection [protected] in customer care on 30th April. The complaint number is[protected]. They said it has been disconnected but still am receiving bill due message. I have called customer care several times but no proper response. I have visited Adyar Reliance world 18th Aug. They said they will send a request mail to someone and the card will be disconnected in a week. But today i have received a message from reliance that i have to make a payment of Rs 438 immediately otherwise they will file a case against me under section 406. Please help to resolve this issue

            I had reliance Net-Connect postpaid connection which was disconnected upon my request.

            I disconnected my netconnect connection vid request number[protected] DATED:08/08/11 Served by VERSHA BHATIA.

            Thereafter I was sent a bill in which charges were post disconnection date. I should not be charged post disconnection.

            Kindly revert back the wrong charges post disconnection and close the account.

            Kindly look into the matter and resolve the same..

            but i wouldnot pay it. why i pay. i already closed that account and
            they gave reguest number. i paid last payment.but still i got bill.

              Reliance Mobile — unsolicited service activation

              i am having a reliance gsm connection,recently on 26 october 2010 i received a sms saying"mera dil bhi...has been downloaded/renew ed at a charge of rs 10.tune renewal on 25.11.2010". Then they renewed the tune and cut Rs 20 stating the date for renewal in the next month.
              later upon the 1st renewal they send an sms which tild how to deactivate the same.i did as told but it yielded no results.i have tried their customer care n.o which is always busy.
              kindly,give some solution to this problem.

              Reliance Mobile — Unauthorised activation of service

              Dear Sir,
              I m very upset due to bad service of Reliance. Ive always been a reliance costumer and still they make unauthorized activations on my number. Earlier it was "Missed Call Alerts" and now it is "Beauty pack".
              The moment i recharged my number for Rs50 , Rs 30 got deducted straightaway.I had already compliant to Reliance, but they say it has been activated from your side.Its really disturbing.
              The first customer executive i talked to said that the matter will be solved and that ill get my money back..But when in 2 days my money wasn't back.. i called again and a guy named "Sunil" answered and said it could not be possible..He was kinda rude too.
              Way to talk to customers!!!

                I am receiving unknown calls from numbers- [protected] and [protected] ,very frequently.
                The caller is using much abusive and vulgar language and calling from different number if i am not picking. I failed to connect to reliance customer care for banning calls from those number.

                I am a house wife. I got a call from telephone number 30264200.

                The caller was very rough and abusive. He didn't identify himself and continuously
                asked for mobile number from my small kid as he wanted to talk some elder.
                On refusal he abused and threatened "Jab phone cut jayega to pata chalega"

                I want to know who owns this number and how can he get my phone disconnected on refusal
                to give personal information and misbehaving with a child.

                Just identify yourself and then I show you what I can do.

                  This is Jitendra Toshniwal, I have a reliance number [protected] on which I did a SMS pack recharge for a month only. Today I saw that reliance has automatically debited Rs 39 as auto renew charge of the same SMS pack without my knowledge or my permission.

                  When I called up customer care to get a refund for the same since I have not used it as then the representative advises "no matter what you do, you would be charged and this money would not be refunded". The customer service Agent was pathetic and no wonder still working in Reliance. I believe that people who do not have any idea of what the customer service is only hired by Reliance.

                  I have not used the SMS pack till now and would like to get my money back that is everything I want.

                      with due respect i beg to say that my mobile number [protected] has subscribed the gamesmania service provided by wap.mauj.com and it charges Rs 5 per day and re 1 per day .due to this i am facing too much mental and finance problem by unwanted subscription from " wap.mauj.com//Utp/u1583v2m9937/cddm/c47gm/index.php?page=sub " an unnecessary subscription not done by me.. but they says it was activated by me..and there is an option to deleted.. but there is no such option in any mobile who was suffering by this unnecessary subscription... I'have lost so much money for this unnecessary subscription plz deactivate and waive my deducted money for this service..

                        HI Sir,

                        I bought Reliance 3g Data card from Reliance World Store at Shivaji Park on 1st July, 2012. I also paid a sum of 4773/- which included the cost of the dongle(1303 Rs.) and 6 months advance payment (3470/- Rs.) on 01/07/2012. I am also getting calls from reliance store to get the payment sorted out, which i am not liable to pay. Because of this, they also terminated my connection since last 4 days, i.e. since 21/08/2012, without even intimating me. I then called the reliance 3g consumer helpline number[protected], wherein they told that there's no record of my service payment (Rs. 4773) in their payment portal. They then told me to visit the store from where i bought the data card.

                        When i visited the store, they behaved to me as in I was the main culprit. The service which they provide to us (customers) is kinda pathetic. Also, they never replied to our queries properly. After all this, the services hasn't been started yet by them. It's the third time i am facing this issue, since the time i purchased.

                          if you cant provide me the details can u tell me why in the hell it was said to me by your customer care executive that calls to any reliance cdma/gsm is free her name was kalpana.
                          if you have the recording then please hear that recording in which i had clearly just called for asking the charge which was made after 23rd of july 2012.

                          and by the way i use vodafone mobile service in which i am being charged at just Rs. 0.30 (i.e. 30paise per minute) why in the hell would i make that call through Reliance in which i m being charged at Rs. 1.20 (i.e. 4 times the charge [0.30x4 = 1.20], if you are not well at mathematics).

                          So, Stop cheating customer and take a note and listen to the call which was made by me for asking just the cost.

                          I had made a call to reliance customer care after 23rd of July to verify that whether i can make call to reliance mobile (CDMA / GSM) within gujarat is free or not. i was told by some Ms. kalpana regarding that i was having plan no. 231 on my no. 0261 - xxxxxxx and the calls are free on any reliance mobile (CDMA / GSM) within gujarat. Only after that i had made calls to the no. xxxxx-xxxxx. All calls are made after conforming only that these calls are free.

                          Later the due date was 23rd of August for bill generation. But before that i had pending Rs. 400 amount bill of last month before due date 13th of august. And my services of outgoing call were stopped. so i had called customer care about whats the problem. they told me i had crossed my call charge limit of something around 1250 or 1350, so i need to pay 80% of overdue amount. Later on i had made my payment of Rs. 400 of previous bill. And i was able to made calls. But the issue was about charge laid of approx Rs. 900 as i had made long call on the no. xxxxx-xxxxx only after confirming on customer care.

                          So needed Phone List for that so again i called customer care, they again and again told me to wait for 23rd of August 2012 for bill generation date. So, I had to called many times regarding that but they told me the same thing again and again. So, I waited till 23rd August 2012 and now today when i made that call for either phone list of amount of bill generated, customer care tells me that bill may be generated but they dont have in their system, and i have to wait for atleast six more days for their system to be updated. What the hell are you working for system or system is working for you, and are you working to provide customer right & full information or just just half & false information........ your services are wrecked..... and your department system is a hell, even you are not ready to take responsibility for just even your department.....

                          So now what shout i do?

                          ril communication — wrong information

                          I have a dot phone conection no[protected], On[protected] i call coustomar care for to know the full talk time recharge they ask me to recharge with Rs 210 , but it was wrong information beacause from this recharge my plain became change. from this i lost my all balance in aweek beacause my plain convert in highlly expensiv plain

                          Reliance Communication GSM — wrong information & cheat

                          My name is Shafeek Ajmal. I am the consumer of reliance GSM Mobile Service (Mobile No: +91-[protected]) . I am experiencing a problem of deduction of 5 rupees Per day, whenever I tried to ask what is the scheme activated on my number from Customer care of Reliance (*333) and they provided me the wrong information for wrong service activated he asked to unsubscribe the cricket service from the number and I followed the same procedure to deactivate the service and I got the system reply that "this service is not activated" then I wasn't able to make a call on Customer service of Reliance, second time I was able to get in touch with them after 2 weeks from another reliance mobile, Customer service again told me that we need to wait for 24 hours and service will be deactivated but it did not happen, I tried to reach the mobile store of reliance which is Reliance World Sector-11 Panchkula, Haryana and they told me that the service is not activated and when I asked reason about the deduction then did not reply because they did not have any details about that, I am suffering from this issue about more then a month, now Reliance do not provide any correct information and Reliance GSM service even doesn't have any information what kind of service is activated on my Mobile, I am very disappointed that even I don't get any message for the deduction, please do something because everyday five rupees is a big amount for me and I am a student and working part time for my study expenses, I belong to a middle class family and just faced a big problem and I cannot change my number as its distributed in the whole family.
                          I would request you to take action immediately and resolve my problem.

                                  We raised a request to close reliance netconnect broadband connection in Feb 24 2012 (Complaint number:[protected] and paid the outstanding amount as on that date. We were told that we will be charged till 1st week of March since it takes a week to execute the request. I have been checking the status continuously after that and till date (24th Aug 2012) in Reliance's records, its mentioned as we wanted to migrate to prepaid. We called several times and said we raised termination request and not migration request. Even then, Reliance has been continuously sending bills month after month in spite of raising the issue. We have even written to customer care but to no avail.

                                  The horror is that the billing department has started making threatening calls and have sent us a notice saying if we don't pay for all the months August a consumer complaint would be lodged on us as per some XXX Act of India. We were even told that if we mention the complaint number the outstanding amount would be waived off and the connection would be closed. When we tried to explain to the billing person who contacted us (named Vijay), he says he has no obligation to answer such to these things and that we have to pay. Even in their records it will show that we have not been using it for last 6 months.

                                  It has been a complete mental torture to our family for so many months. Reliance doesn't even have the courtesy to call and sort out the issue depsite the fact that we have been calling them so many times and we didn't get any email response also for the email complaint that we raised. People should abandon such company products who abuse, torture and try to take un-rightful money from the customers and the companies would learn when their business starts going down.

                                    I had Bought Reliance Landline 2 year before and the service was poor so I disconnected the connection on 9/03/2012 by settling all my dues and depositing instrument at Reliance Web World, Jagatpuri, Delhi. I got the request number for this termination i.e[protected] and also got the receipt from the center. I am also enclosing the receipt that I got from there.

                                    I received a call regarding legal notice from Deep Ram, Reliance Communications saying to pay my dues otherwise legal action will be taken. This letter has hurt me so I kindly I request to take action against the authority for not consulting before calling me regarding legal notice.

                                    Idea — Bills being sent even after connection declared closed

                                    I have not been using mobile num. [protected] since March 10, 2010 and account was closed on the same day by depositing Rs. 1476 by making Full and final payment.
                                    Bill for April 2010 (Invoice No. F/[protected]-10, dated 7th April, 2010) was received For NIL amount as per the details given above.

                                    We talked to customer care and also visited IDEA office and we were told to send a fax to a given Main Office number.
                                    Despite having sent Fax and informing by e-mail also, that the account has been closed, we are every month getting the bills unnecessarily.

                                    Please verify that no calls have been made since March 10th and the number is not in use since then and stop sending the bills.
                                    This is quite unfair and very annoying. Please attend to the complain immediately. Yours is a reputed and professional company. Please close the account w.e.f 10th March, 2010 and stop sending any bills further.

                                        this is with reference to the letter received by me from reliance communication bearing ref. no. AUGUST - 3605/3008 on 2/8/2012 reg. non-payment of service charges - final reminder.
                                        my account number is[protected] and the RIM no. [protected].

                                        i anurodh chajjed had taken this dongle under 3 months advance payment scheme on 2.11.2011. i used the dongle for three months and before completion of 3 months on 1.3.2012 i had given a request beforehand to change my 900 plan to 400 plan and iam attaching the request acknowledgement receipt with this mail for your reference. and with this i was under the impression that i will be getting a bill for 400 plan and i was using it till the next bill came which was of 842.70 and not as per plan decided by me. hence on 3.5.2012 i made a payment of Rs.342 as per my desired plan and went to your communication centre at rajkumar road in rajajinagar, bangalore. they told me that the plan which was applied was not available and hence they did not change the plan. they further accepted that they did not inform us about this change and hence sorry for the inconvience. the same day i gave the dongle to Miss. nagaveni your customer care executive at that centre and told her to discontinue or cancel my connection. she kept the dongle with her and told me to give a call after a day or two. but even after 3 to 4 days when i did not receive the call from the centre i again went to enquire and she told us that she has waived off the wrong charge and requested me to continue with the connection with different plan. but i clearly informed that i will not be interested to continue to which she told ok then we will disconnect the connection. then i went believing that she should have done that. but again some calls from your company came that you please continue with the connection to which i clearly declined.

                                        Then to my astonishment i got another bill on 14.6.12 for Rs.923.97 without having dongle with me and without using it. then i went to the same centre and again the same excuse that we have already done the credit adjustment and you will have to pay the remaining amount. but again i clarified and they took again a few days time and told us this problem will be resolved and till that time they have not returned me the dongle neither they informed me the procedure for cancellation of the dongle. and the agony continued of calling on my mobile number for non payment and my clarification for several times. and this did not stop when again the bill was raised for Rs.190.62 on 14.6.2012. then with this again going to the customer care centre and clarifying the details continued for some more days before i received your letter dated 2.8.2012 requesting me to pay the dues or else legal action will be taken.

                                        This was the last nail in the coffin for any customer relationship. when i went to your customer care centre they were not responding to my clarification and miss. nagaveni was even accusing me of talking rash and other stuff, whereas never in my talk for so many times i had used any wrong words or behaved badly.on that day she told me that the customer care executives are not authorized to keep the dongle without cancelling the connection. with this i was convinced that your company name should be RELIANCE MISCOMMUNICATION AND NOT RELIANCE COMMUNICATION.

                                        but one thing i have come to know that customer is always wrong in reliance communication dictionary. if we are stuck with a company like reliance we will only get these legal notice letter. iam also attaching the history of my dongle with this mail for your reference and would demand an explanation about this issue. and beware it is not you who will be going for legal action i will be going to consumer forum first for a mental harassment case against reliance communication and make co accused miss. nagaveni who all the way misguided us and kept us in dark.

                                        hope that with this clarification all doubts are cleared and this harassment will end for me. and i expect a reply asap from your end and that too a positive one.

                                        EVEN AFTER THIS LETTER TO RELIANCE COMMUNICATION THE ISSUE IS THAT I HAVE TO PAY BACK THE AMOUNT. PLEASE SOLVE THIS FOR ME.

                                        Reliance Communications — charge wrong internet charges in my bill

                                        i am using reliance postpaid connection from many months from last two months the are charging me reliance netconnect charges but i am not using any these service moreover , my handset have no settings for these service.
                                        last month also they have charged such charges but after filling complaints with you they waive off these charges after 10 - 12 days.
                                        now they have charged me Rs 1113.30 + service taxes as reliance netconnect charges.
