Hi,

My internet connection is not working since past 3 weeks but no solution has been provided by the Reliance customer care. The continue to give false assurance that it will be repaired within next 24 hours which ofcourse doesnt happens.
I am tired of complaining and they do no give any next step to take my complain forward. I am forced to talk to customer care execs who only speak typed scripts and could not provide any solution. Infact the complaint was closed without any confirmation from my side and the connection was still not restored.
My Internet is not working for last 13 days, firstly i registered a complaint with customer care on 23rd October after 5 days of wait i got a message that my complaint has been resolved but connection didn't stared working, then i called customer care and they told me due non payment of rent to owner where dlc is kept, the owner had cut the wires and problem is resolved now but my connection started working so i placed another complaint with them on 27, after 1-2 days i called them again they told me that there are some network problem in my area, after few days i called again and then they told me about the same dlc problem gain, today is 5th november and i am fed up of reliance no calls no engineer nothing, they are not even telling that when the problem will be resolved, whatever the problem is I'm not getting a ip adress and that is problem I'm able to recognise, i also placed a termination request which closed by themselves without any confirmation call, why should customer suffer if reliance is not able to pay towards infrastructure, how can a big multinational company is unable to pay meagre sum of 1000rs to the owner where the dlc is kept, this is not the way big companies are run, this is a big blot on the face of reliance infocomm, i have also come across similar complaints regarding non-payment of rent to owners where dlcs are kept in different parts of India on various consumer forums, is reliance going to shut there operations or they don't have the money.

I am a Reliance prepaid card user. My number is [protected]. In the last two days i.e. 10th September & 11th September, 2012, I have been charged for

Rs. 20/- on account of VAS Hungama GSM
Rs. 20/- on account of VAS One97 GSM
Rs. 5/- on account of VAS One97 VP Subsc

This charge has been deducted despite the fact that I have NOT requested any such subscriptions.

When I called the customer care executive, I was given a refund of Rs. 30/- only You may check the details. Further attempts to call up the customer care executive have been in vain. I have been on hold for 5 minutes and been charged for the call to 30333333 as the number is not toll-free.

I demand a refund of the remaining amount of Rs. 15/-

Hi,My prepaid mobile no. is [protected] (Adarsh)...
I have another problem, and it happens again to me.last time before 20 days reliance deducted 30 Rs for jokes ,which i didn't subscribe. and now they deduced 150 Rs.They just message me that your balance below to 5 Rs.than i checked my balance,it was only 2 Rs left.My balance was 152 Rs before they deducted 150 Rs from my balance...

I called to customer care (198) for complaint but they block my customer care service..That's why i brought a new Reliance SIM for call to him.i called to him and they told me that u used Internet for 23 minutes, that's why i deducted 150 Rs.for it...But i have free 6 GB data for 1GB*6 months in my number.that's why i have free internet service now.So i don't know why they deducted 150 Rs for internet uses from my balance....And at what the calculation they have to charges for internet data uses because 10 paise/10 kb is the charges to use internet by the all providers ( Maybe reliance is unique that's why they charged 50 Rs/1 MB for me )..because i just used 3-4 Mb data in these 23 minutes and i didn't downloading anything in between....
I didn't setisfied to Reliance customer care answer....
Reliance customer care is the worst customer care compare to other providers....

It's disgusting and shame for Reliance that they can't help and care his customers.....
I hope you will help me in this matter because u help me in my last complaint (unnecessary service) and called me back... and i can get my 150 Rs back which was they deducted .....THANKS A LOT

Reliance net connect datacard — Extra bill after switching plan

          Hi

My data Card number is [protected] and complain ids I am having with me is
Latest is the most active one :[protected],[protected], [protected],[protected].

Last to last month(Oct) I have requested for this disconnection of my data card number but one of your colleague told me , she has one good plan of Rs.600 3GB DAY/10GB NIGHT.
I told her , I am grabbing that plan and I confirmed that I am on (Rs.600 3GB DAY/10GB NIGHT) this plan by Live Chat as it has been updated on your database.
After all this my bill generated with 850 INR my previous plan.

Again I called on 10th Nov and a 200 INR wavier was given to me and again, and I confirmed that I am on (Rs.600 3GB DAY/10GB NIGHT) this plan by Live Chat and then I started my usage as per my plan
And know my bill generated was 995 INR with 850 Plan(my previous plan) as I am not on this plan. I am on above mentioned plan.
And if there is mentioned in your database that this plan will be effective from 1-dec-10 , I was not known about this as I come to know this from customer care and , many times I have confirmed this through Live Chat that I am on 600INR plan

I have requested many times to your customer care. This time I want a proposed solution from your side.
          Please look this on pripority.

Sir, on 7th september at 7:46pm one message came in my mobile number [protected] which carried the message "You have been successfully subscribed to Model VideoClub service at Rs 30.00 for 30 days. To un-subscribe SMS Unsub 2091 to 155223(Toll Free)." After that I dialled 198 to speak to the customer service representative. I told the representative about the problem that the Model Videoclub service has been automatically activated in my number & after that I requested him to refund my Rs.30 in my account. Then he told that my number has been unsubscribed from the service & the complain of refunding has been forwarded & my money will be refunded back in my account in the next 24 hrs. After that I waited for 24 hrs but the amount was not refunded in my account. After that I called again to 198 customer service representative & told that my money was not refunded in my account after which I was told to wait for more 24 hrs. I waited but still the money was not refunded in my account. After that when I again called 198 customer service representative i.e. on 9th september I was not being able to contact the representative which I think was intentionally done. After that on the same day I called the customer service representative from another reliance number i.e. [protected] & when I told again about the refunding which was not done still the representative told that there was some technical problem for which he cant help me. After that on the next day i.e. on 10th september at 12:53pm another message came which carried "You have been successfully subscribed to Sai Baba service at Rs 30.00 for 30 days. To un-subscribe SMS Unsub 2040 to 155223(Toll Free)." and again after that at 12:56pm another message came which carried "You have been successfully subscribed to Star Dust service at Rs 30.00 for 30 days. To un-subscribe SMS Unsub 2043 to 155223(Toll Free)." for which my Rs 60 was being deducted yesterday & together with the money deducted on 7th a total of Rs 90 has been deducted automatically from my account unnecessarily. After that yesterday only I called the customer service representative from the number [protected] & told the whole problem after which the representative told that my complaint has been forwarded for refunding the money which was deducted on 7th september & it will be resolved in next 2 days & when I asked about the rest Rs 60 which was deducted on 10th september he told that only one complain can be written & to complain about the auto activation of 10th september I have to call again after sometime. After approx half an hour I called again then the number [protected] was also being blocked to speak to the representative which also I am sure was done intentionally. After that I called from another reliance number i.e. [protected] & told the problem & then the representative unsubscribed my number from both the services & told that complain for refunding the amount of those two services cant be forwarded till the complaint about the refunding of Rs 30 of 7th september is resolved.
Sir this is my condition of which I am really fed up. Often they automatically subscribe to different value added services & deduct the balance automatically. Sir please take action against this. I will be really very very thankful to you.

            Yours faithfully,
            Rupantar Pal.

I have done one payment of my Reliance Data Card No [protected] and CAF No:[protected]. This number is terminated long ago and allocated to some one else. Before closing this service I have made a last payment of 550 Rupees on Relaince Webworld. Which is not reflecting in your
                  system.

While there was bill of 1507 Rs showing pending in my account which Again I am not aware of. Why the bill amount was 1507 even I never used this data card in last month. Even for last 2-3 months my data card was not working then how can I use data for that amount. I complained about that hundred times

Please find the attached scan copy of slip of payment done.

I am getting number of calls about legal action , court case or warrant. Please let me know is this not the mental/Physical/Social and economical exploitation by the capatalist firms?. He told me that a case of fraud has been registered against me in the court and even I haven't responded on the legal notice court sent to me, either pay 15000 else you will be arrested. I asked him that I have raised issue many time and please check internally about the dispute. Then he said first pay your amount then we will see this. How you jerk people can
say this. How you people can eat customer money so easily.

Reliance firm- I don't want any call from your side now. I paid the money and terminated the services on time .. imporve your system and
employees instead of threatning me and consumer..

If you are not resolving issue then I will file case against your for customer harassment. I'm Hypertension patient and these calls are increasing same. I'll not leave you guys if I got call again.

I was a Reliance Wimax broadband customer (id [protected]708) since the last 2 1/2 years. Due to frequent service issues recently I decided to cancel my broadband access in July 2012 and made my request by email as well as phone to customer service. There are just too many service requests to mention here but they are prompt in creating / closing requests without any action. However after I complained in a consumer forum, I got a call from customer service requesting that I stay with them with a promise that my issue would be rectified and a waiver would be provided for service outages, so I continued with them. However when I received my August bill for Rs.1784.5 this did not include any discounts and on top of that they added a late payment fee of Rs. 100 added. When I finally asked for cancellation again it was disconnected on August 15th and equipment taken away on Aug 27th. Now the bill payment authorities are harassing me for paying the entire month of August. Is this fair when services were utilized only for 15 days in the month? Their appellate authority is really a mute spectator to this entire episode and does not ever look into any issues.

If my issue is not resolved fairly, my next step would be consumer court.

Reliance Broadband — Harrassment | forcefully billing

                    Hi
I made a disconnection request of reliance broadband service to the reliance customer support through email on 6th may 2009 against which I received the reference number as well in reply of email. I have the copies of those emails as well. After that too many calls from reliance department I received that why should I wanted a disconnection to which I said that it’s my wish & please disconnect it as I have stopped the usage as well & kindly refund my security. The executive said fine & disconnected the call. After that around in july 2009 I received calls again from the reliance that I need to pay Rs 450 only & they will send their guy to pick the wireless device of reliance. The executive came & taken Rs 450/- & issued me the receipt against it but did not take along the device as he was not giving me any slip against it. Reliance executive told me on the phone on my cell that another executive will come & collect the wireless device & give me the slip but since then no executive came. In the meanwhile reliance dept kept on sending the broadband bills. Now today a courier guy came to my house in my/my family’s absence when our premises are locked & told my neighbor that he has the legal letter from some lawyer of reliance dept i.e. chamber no 246 Patiala house courts new delhi & according to it I should go & meet them & pay thousands of rupees else they will send the recovery guys. This is an harassment limit by the reliance broadband. Please suggest me that what should I do now as I want to fight against this torture.

                    ThanKs & Regards
                    Deepak Verma
I had written this mail to kindly inform you that I have bean always cheated by your executives. Sir I had purchased An Broad band service of your company. Even after canceling the connection on a phone call, The bill had continued to come at my address. After every payment of that bill The executive used to tell that now no bill will be sent. I had made my last payment on 23rd January 2010 of account [protected] in the name of Ankit Parmar, my receipt no. is 119010. And I was being told that now there will be no payment remaining of your. I have also deposited all my instruments. on 23rd. But today on 1st April 2010 I had a call from a lawyer his contact no is [protected] that reliance had filed a case on me. And being asked to pay Rs 2452. Why sir is this your way for exploiting people. Why should we pay this and if we talk to your executive after paying the amount they always say that now there will be no payment in future. If This continues I will prefere to go at Grahak Suraksha and prefer to case there. Every time i have been cheated and sir I have been transferred In a Village I am not at Ahmadabad. I am facing a lot of problem for this. so I will be happy if you are helpful to me and give me positive response. We have not such an family income to bare this unwanted and cheated billings. Now sir I am tired of this and if any thing happens in future or I have been cheated I will Contact Grahak Suraksha kendra. Sorry to say but its a limit Of your company.

I had deactivated my Reliance Internet account sometime during August 2011, shortly after which I left India and I am still outside India.
Now, after more than a year of disconnection, I am being sent a pre-litigation with case number 130549/2012/2012 for pending bill of around Rs1800.00. I could not attend the hearing as I am not in India anymore. What I do not understand is, once I had deactivated my account, what is this amount due, that too after almost a year!

I purchased post paid broadband data card connection no. [protected] from Reliance Telecommunications, GT Road Panipat on 15 or 16th May 2012 with a scheme of unlimited usage of 3 months which meant that my payment for 3 months usage was taken in advance and the free usage period was till 15 / 16 Aug 2012. I had written to Reliance to stop my postpaid broad band connection through email and had clearly written that I do not intend to continue with this connection because this connection had not given the promised speed equal to cable broadband and had also witten that they should immediately stop it as I shall not pay anything for the post paid connection.. I received a phone call from Reliance on[protected] with a confirmation that the 3 months period is over and their representative also made it clear that they are transferring the connection to prepaid. As there was no other way to check the start of prepaid connection ( so that I could start recharging of prepaid connection), I had been keeping the data card connected so that whenever it stops, I 'll go for recharge of prepaid connection. Instead of migrating the connection to prepaid , they sent me a bill of Rs. 271-00 for data usage. I had been repeatedly telling them that I have not used it for any other reason except to check the migration to prepaid, reliance has been ignoring my mails and have been sending same type of mails with demand for money and have stopped my connection totally. I kindly request you to please take necessary action so that either my money which i paid at the time of purchase be refunded or the prepaid connection is started so that the instrument, for which i paid should have some value by its use during my travelling.

                                    Reliance Communications Limited

                                    Hi.

With reference to all our correspondence since 14/ 15 Aug. 2012 regarding my non-willingness to continue with your postpaid broadband connection no.[protected], I wish to once again request you all to read our communication in toto to understand the issue and then send a reply.

Once I wrote to your concerned persons that I do not wish to continue with the connection after the 3 months period ( for which I paid at the time of purchase of this instrument and connection) and had clearly mentioned that I shall not pay anything for the post paid connection. I had received a phone call of one Ms. Pooja Kulkarni on[protected] who confirmed me that my free usage period of 3 months is over on[protected]. She also informed that this connection can be converted to a prepaid connection, for which I agreed and she had sent me a confirmation mail about our telephonic communication.

I already had one spare connection of BSNL for my use and I never required your connection during the period[protected] to[protected] but used to connect it to check if the prepaid has been started or not. It was a delay from your side, and it was never my fault. The amount is not too big for me, but I shall not pay it due to the reason that it was a consent from your side to allow me to migrate to prepaid ( and your company will earn because of the recharge I do). Had you not given any consent for prepaid, I would have forgotten about this data card and would never have used it for checking the start of prepaid connection.

If you are interested in retaining a customer for your data cards nos [protected] and [protected] and the phone no. [protected], please send me a confirmation that I do not need to pay the amount of Rs. 271-44 or I shall stop replying to your e mails and stop using all reliance products.

                                    Thanks and warm regards.

                                    Hi all

Thanks for these repeated mails asking me to deposit an amount which you know I had already informed on[protected] the day on which this amount was not due as per your records) that I will not pay any thing for this post paid connection and had requested you to stop this post paid service. Now, one needs to ascertain before putting the recharge amount.. The only way to know that is connecting the data card. You want to charge for that usage. OK. I am confirming that I shall not pay this. Now calculate tour loss. I will take the case to consumer forum for the slow speed provided by you in comparison to what you promise and you will have to refund the amount I already paid ( which will include the cost of instrument ). I shall not be able to recharge the data card. It will be your loss. I will also not use the data card no [protected] and mobile phone no. [protected] ( which I may, if i join a job or get into some business). So please do calculate your losses. Apart from this, I have reported the matter to TRAI and shall definitely persue for an action against you.

Thanks once again and good bye.

Problem: Speed lower than promised ( CDMA data card no [protected], in my own name only, used to give same speed as Broad band data card no. [protected] purchased on[protected]

                                    Details:

My complaint is that I had informed well in advance for stopping my connection vide email dated[protected] and had informed them that I do not want to continue with the connection because the speed promised for the broadband connection was similar to my earlier CDMA connection ( This clearly means that reliance is cheating in the name of broad band). I received a telephonic response from reliance representative on[protected] with the information that the 3 months period is over and they have processed as per my request. Their representative also agreed for migration of this connection to prepaid. Reliance did not stop the post paid connection. Being owner of the instrument, I had a right to check on regular basis to see if the post paid service is stopped or not so that I could recharge for prepaid service. Now for that period o[censored]sage, Reliance has raised a bill and have been sort of forcing me to pay. They have also threatened that my billing for the post paid service will continue till the time i pay the amount asked by them.

I request concerned officials of TRAI to look into the matter and advise reliance officials to correct the situation by withrawing the bill raised and confirm the same through e mail so that I can recharge the data card for my usage during travelling. In case they do not wish to do so, they should refund the cost of the instrument,

Kindly take a strict action immediately so that the service providers do not harass customers like what they have being doing with me in future.

I could not understand this reply. There is usage but that has to be there till you do not migrate from post paid to prepaid. I had clearly written in my request dated[protected] that I shall not pay any amount for a post paid connection immediately after the free period of three months is over.. I am once again confirming that i shall not pay any amount and shall not take any responsibility for the usage. I shall repeatedly connect and use the connection but shall definitely recharge as per a suitable scheme of prepaid once it is migrated to prepaid. So it is in your interest to migrate the connection to prepaid as early as possible. I shall only come to know of migration by connecting the data card so it will have to be connected regularly. Hope this is clear. In case of any doubt, you may please call me @ [protected].

                                    Thanks and warm regards

                                    SANJIV

                                    Dear Sir / Madam

I had written before the ending of the 3 months period of free use after purchase that I do not want to continue this connection and had asked for discontinuation of the account with immediate effect. Your representative had called me and had confirmed again. They had advised me to get the connection migrated to prepaid for which I had agreed.

Under these circumstances, when everything was clear from both sides, your sending this bill to me is not understandable. I hope you have the correspondence in your records and can easily understand the facts after going through the correspondence. Please send me a confirmation for the cancellation of the bill sent by you and confirm the migration of my mobile data card to prepaid..

                                    Thanks and regards

I had purchased Reliance Wireless Broadband+ USB Modem (Prepaid) DN. [protected]. For activation i had faced lots of trouble. After activation i have made many complaints for the same at customer service, also i have visited to Reliance Web World, have marked mail to their customer service. After doing all this Reliance is not bother to take it seriously. I think this is money making policy by cheating customer. Reliance committing 3.1 MBPS speed and charging high accordingly & providing pure speed.
I am personally suggesting not to buy Reliance Wireless Broadband+ USB Modem (Prepaid) as am felt i made mistake.
Interesting ones you buy the modem Reliance can't take it back & refund you money, though problems from their side. (Because Reliance already earn by selling it.).

Reliance — Promised speed not provided

I purchased reliance broadband+ ([protected])in January and I am facing the speed issues majorly from March. I raise a complain on 20th April through e-mail but they raise the request for waiver. They told me they cannot take request for speed issue as congestion going on. After two days I receive a call from their billing department that waiver cannot be given as I have not register the complaint. So I raise the complaint again on 26th April but they does not take any action. It force me to raise again a complaint on 9th May than I came to know they have closed my complaint as they try my phone and I was not reachable, so they told me that they will take action but again the same result, no action.I again call customercare on 12th May(today) to know the status than I came to know the congestion is still going on, but when I ask to give me this thing in written, she denied and cut my phone saying that I cannot hear you. This is how reliance treat their customer. They charge Rs 750/pm for 3.1 mbps speed and I am getting only 20-40 kbps. Can you help me out as I am facing this problem for almost two months and what legal action I can take against them?

Internet speed very low in comparison to what was promised at the time of selling data card - Comment #1835170 - Image #0
                                    Dear Sirs.

After making the last complaint Registration number DOTEL/E/2012/17411 dated[protected], there was a response from Reliance Comminications and they sent me mail mentioning that the amount of Rs. 271-00 wrongly charged for data card no. [protected] has been waived off. They also migrated the same data card to prepaid on my request. Suddenly they have raised another bill of Rs. 125-00 for the period[protected] to[protected]. When i made a request to correct the records and do not demand money for the wrong bills being generated by their system, they have not taken any corrective action and have been sending me repeated reminders for making this payment. I had even written that their mails with a demand which is not genuine are harassing me but they have been repeating their demand. Kindly take necessary action from your end and advice the service provider to take corrective actions.

                                    Thanks and warm regards

Due to repeated problems in broadband services & poor customer care support, I requested for discontinuation of broadband services to reliance broadband customer care thru email. For which I also received a confirmation. But till date no one has come to take the equipment nor have they sent me the final bill settlement. As my chosen plan was of advance rental for 6 months,& I made a request well before that period. I stopped paying for the duration I haven't used. But they are calling me time & again , sometimes mentioning different courts in india & harassing on telephone. I just want to pay off whatever is required by me & get rid of these reliance people.
The picture representing their poor technical system of a distribution box installed in my office complex is self explanatory.

I am a prepaid subscriber of Reliance telecom with mob No[protected]. Reliance telecommunication sends me message that i am subscribed for various services like caller tunes, jokes, shayari, cricket etc without me requesting those services. My account balance is deducted for these services. This is unfair and unethical. I had complained to them in the past and in one instance the money was refunded. They have how ever not responded to my repeated requests. I am also seeing sms traffic on my phone, where I am charged without sending any messages. In short I am being charged for services which I have neither subscribed nor use or require.
The practice is unethical and even may be termed fraudulent or cheating the customers.
