[Resolved]  Reliance Netconnect — Reliance USB CDMA Modem worst performance

I brought an USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM 10 days before from Reliance Mobile in Brigade Road, Bangalore. This is a post paid connection that came with my HP Pavilion Note, thinking about the mobility and net connection speeds up to 144 kbps I paid Rs.3180 for this pathetic internet connection.

The average connection speed I get is less than 15 kbps. Worst case is some times I get connection speed less than 5kbps. At these speeds even simple home page of google.com fails to load. I have done all the basic trouble shooting steps to increase the internet connection. When I called Reliance Customer Care I was transferred to their technical team, which is even worst.

The tower signal shows as full strength but the connection speed is very slow this is because reliance does not offer its customers what its promise. Reliance is company that can’t be trusted. The BSNL Dial-Up connection that I have is far better than the high speed USB modem from Reliance.

To check the internet connection further I even took my note book where there was a reliance tower. It did not make any difference.

Reliance Technical Support is worst. So, I think Anil Ambani should be held responsible for all these.

My advice is, don’t buy Reliance USB modem.

Reliance Net Card ( USB ) — WOrst speed and customer support

Hi readers ..

PLease dont buy Reliance net card ( data card ) for your internet purpose. i bought the card in dec207 and it was the my mistake i later regretted for. i invested around 3000 rupees on that. At the time of purchase they promised me to provide 144 kbps speed and download speed of 30-40 kbps. but i never get a download speed more than 12 kbps. after 2 months, the speed came down drastically and the speed was only 0.0000kbps. it used to take 15 minutes to open a simple Google page.

The customer service center is worst of all. they never care for your problem. Either they disconnect the call or wont give proper answer at all. Please don't waste your money on RELIANCE.

They proved themselves again that RELIANCE IS A BIG CHEATER.

My experience with Reliance net connect has been no different. I have Lost faith in Reliance as a company. Post this experience I will never again purchase a Reliance product. And as far as possible dissuade friends and folks from doing the same. Had expected quality in product and service from the company. Biot this experience left me completely disillusioned in the company's repute.
The speed of this crap is less than 15 KB/s. I took the plan which said I can do anything for free for 45 hours in a month. But, they are sending bills of thousand rupees, and I know that I Do not use to access network that much which can cost such a cost. [b]I am regretting WHY I bought this [/b]

Internet Connection — modem take too much time to connect

from last few days our modem is not connecting easily everytime it takes about half to two hours to connect . our modem is from bsnl broadband . the yelllow light showing internet connection keeps fluctuating the whole time until finaly it connect . its quite frustating . plz kindely pay attention to our complaints .

i have purshased a HUAWEI EC325 CDMA DATA MODEM last year in may n after using 2 to 4 months i left it .but again i want to restart my connection may i start it wid same connection.once a contact to nearest reliance office but i did't get positive answer.i have asked him 2 times n in 2 times 2 persons gave me 2 other answer so finally i asked u .may i restart my connection and whats d procedure to restart.

Reliance Netconnect — Complaint about giving wrong internet plan

I bought a USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM and internet connection from Reliance center in Mangalore in October 2008.

My reliance number is [protected]. I had asked for Swift 40+ plan which has 400 Rs monthly rental.

The customer care representative who gave me the connection told me that if I will take the corporate connection, then it will be free for first 2 months and after that 400 Rs per month, So I agreed for it.

But after 2 months the rent was 700. And when I called up and asked from customer care they told me that the plan which was given to me has been shifted to 700 monthly rental plan after completion of 2 months free usage time. This was done without any intimation or any information to me. Then I called up the person from whom I took the data-card and connection and that guy told me that this is done by customer care people. But in all this mess, I am the person who is suffering.
And if I talk to the Customer Care they say, the Corporate plan is automatically converted into Rs.700 Plan, the Sales representative gave u a wrong information.
Its all confusion going around there, no proper information is conveyed to the customers. No one trying to give proper information or work out on the problem.

Its like, people in the same organisation will say different things and i will simply pay the amount.
And even many times, the Customer Care people talk very rudely, and behave strangely, as if its not their job to take care of these things.
I am fully fully fully fully fully agree with all of you...Reliance is a bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad product...
yes i do agree, reliance usb modem device is the worst in the market.Loaded with poor speed, automatic disconnection every now and then, worse customer support than any government agency..Besides, they even don't specify on their website that how many hours have been utilized separately in day and night..so the customer using their time bound plan is always in a confusing state..
I have the ZTE CDMA modem 880. It is the worst thing I had ever seen. It can be used only during early morning and sometime during noon. All the rest of time it will show connected but we cannot do any thing. I agree they reliance is not trustworthy.i suggest to everyone stay away from reliance netconnect.
The speed as assured to me at the time of purchase of Netconnect Data card is 230 KBPS, but on connecting the device to the PC, it gives the speed of only 28.8 KBPS. I am not at all happy with the device and using it only that the company is not ready to take the device back and I am losing the money spent on the purchase of the device.

I have Recharged my prepaid a/c with 550 jadu pack..in this pack call rate would .50/1..At the starting time it was working, but from last few days ago i realized the call rate is higher(more then double).when i called at customer care..he was agreed that reliance cut more amount from my a/c...and he has no answer about this and he was unable to rever my old amount...such a third class mobile company and service..thats why i am going to take airtel gsm and broadband connection soon..

Reliance Netconnect — untold bill amount

i got a reliance data card netconnect whose modem no. is [protected]. while purchasing i was told that the monthly charges for internet would be Rs. 850 and it will provide an unlimited surfing and a 2.5 GB downloading. but within one month the bill has come of rs .3500 .
on asking, they are saying that our plan is different and not even able to get in touch with the person who is responsible for the sale .
I will come back and leave more disgusting feedback. The owner and the people that work for him are not human. Their service is pathetic. It is time to bring a class action law suite on behalf of all unhappy customers. I am think about 500 core suite would wake the up?
Reliance brings much misery to millions a customers on a daily bases.

Reliance Netconnect USB — free 2 months net package

We purchased Reliance Netconnect connection with USB in Rupees 2200 / - On 18th Jan 2009, This Package was valid for 2 months, but Reliance People send me new bill Rs 2100 on the 12 th Day and They cut my Internet Connection.

That package was free for 2 months Period, why they break internet services on 12 th.

I M reliance net connect user, hv subscribed 4 1 gb plan I m sure I havent use even 1gb free. yet they people charge me rs .2210 for aditional usage. I have used the same card same plan prev. month N i surf 5 to 7hrs daily but the usage of that month was 658 MB only. in the next month (wn ds happen) I hardly use 1 to 2hr a day n they charged 2210.
