I had applied for 225 Reliance Power IPO on 18-01-08 from Sharekhan on-line trading portal ,the details being as follows:

Refund amount was dispatched to old bankers viz,HDFC Bank Greater Noida even though the change of Bankers was intimated to Sharekhan which it appears, they had not incorporated on my DP Account.Subsequently,I approached Karvy and intimated the entire changes,viz,My new address and new bankers and the same has also been incorporated in my DP A/C on the Sharekhan portal also.

In spite of several reminders to Karvy by way of E-mails and Fax-messages on the subject,no refund amount of Rs.18,565.00 has been paid to me so far.

Reliance Power IPO — Non receipt of shares and refund

I applied for 225 shares of Reliance power IPO on 16.1.08 by paying Rs.96750 through icici demat account, and the application number was 91482484. Since no information about either allotment or refund was forthcoming, I enquired from the registrar Karvy in early February Vide email and got response of the allotment of 17 shares. However, on further enquiry about the crediting of shares and refund to the account from where money was withdrawn, they keep mum despite several reminders. Several attempts were made to contact them telephonically, but of no avail.Please note that the amount to be adjusted is barely Rs.7, 310 where as the refund amount is 89, 440.

It is already about 1.5 months that the money is held in their account. Could you kindly help in getting the refund as well as the shares credited into my demat account.

It is pity that the public confidence in Reliance is being shattered by Karvy like registrars and people as well as the Reliance management is a silent spectator.I am sure people will not forgive this reckless attitude.

I had applied for the Reliance Power IPO for 225 shares, with a cheque of Rs. 96,750/-.
I have not been allotted any shares of the said company as well as the refund till now.
I am very much disappointed with the way Reliance has dealt with this problem and made up my mind that I will not be putting my hard-earned money in any of the future IPO's of Reliance Group.

I had also sent my complaint form to Karvy, still nothing has happened in last 2 weeks. Kindly tell me what I shold do?

I have applied the above IPO vide Appln no. 52712011 for 225 shares dt 16-1-08 for Rs.25875 and the amount was withdrawn from my bank i.e Union Bank of India,Nehru Place, new delhi on 22/1/2008. I've not received the refund amount . Please look into the matter and refund the amount at the earliest.
