Hello,

Just few mins back I have received an sms which says Amount charged for VAS Jumpgames GSM Rs. 30.00 Current balance Rs. 177.42

I am sitting here in office and I have NOT activated any services. How you have duducted 30 Rs from by balance? I have tried multiplal times to call to customer support but getting line busy answer only.

As an IT professional I will never activate such type of services and this shows how Reliance is cheating to its customers by deducting amount from their balance.

As I have not activated any services, refund my amount.

    My Name is Xytiz Saraf.

    I have a Reliance communications Mobile connection with a monthly rental plan of Rs. 1499.
    In this plan, I am supposed to have access to internet all over India. I am supposed to be given 3G connectivity where Reliance holds the license for it and 2G connectivity in all other locations.
    There have been several occasions where I have traveled outside my home network and have not been able to access any data connectivity.
    On all of these occasions, I have contacted the customer care unit of reliance communications. On most of these occasions, I have not been able to get through the customer care itself. On the occasions i have managed to reach the customer care, they have provided me no help at all. They promise to resolve my problem within a stipulated time but fail each time.

    Finally, i lodged a complaint with the appellate authority. They replied by saying that they will resolve the problem and reply within 7 days.
    Those 7 days are long gone and I have yet not received a reply of resolution or any other kind from reliance.

    I am attaching herewith emails from me as proof.

      Under the instructions from our client, M/s. Reliance Communications Ltd., and M/s. Reliance Communications Infrastructure Limited, “Subramanya Arcade”, No.12/2, Tower ‘B’, 2nd Floor, Bannerghatta Road Bangalore – 560029, we issue this Notice as follows.


      You are aware that our client is engaged in the business of providing Unified Telecommunication Services to its valid customers. You have availed the said services from our client by submitting the requisite Customer Application Form and other documents under Account No.[protected] provided by our client. The said services were provided by our client in pursuance of the terms and conditions and you have specifically agreed and undertook to pay all service charges in full without any deduction, set off or withholding with respect to the services availed by you. Our client has been generating Statements of Service Charges and the same are dispatched to you regularly from time to time for the services availed by you.


      We state that, you have defaulted in payment of the service charges and consequent to the said default, there is an outstanding amount of Rs.731 /- in your Account. You have failed to pay the said dues in spite of repeated requests and reminders from our client and this has caused wrongful loss to our client.



      Wherefore, you are called upon to pay a sum of Rs.731 /- to our client within Three days from the date of receipt of this Notice. The said amount should be paid by cash / DD / Pay Order in favor of Reliance Communications Infrastructure Limited or can also be paid at any Reliance outlets of ADA group. Failing which, we shall initiate civil and criminal proceedings against you before the competent court of law at your own cost and risk.

      I made request to terminate services as on 18th Feb 2013 still you took more than 2 months to terminate services sending useless mails even after insisting to terminate same on immediate basis.
      Why was services not terminated in three days when you are asking to do payment in three days????

      Even though your device was faulty and not working and I insisted to terminate service on immediate basis why you took 2months to terminate it?

      How can you send bills for
      1. Faulty device not working at all
      2. And even after insisting to terminate why you took 2months to terminate same?


      I made multiple complaints before from last October that your device is giving problem, refer to mail chain forwarded already, still you didnt took any action and I kept paying you bills when device completely stopped working I asked to terminate same on immediate basis still you took two months to
      terminate it

      If you people cannot provide proper service to customer and only want money who will use your USELESS services and pay you money?

      I used to pay bills on time and regularly you can check the records but didn't get proper service from your side


      I am not going to PAY the bill you charged me for duration of FAULTY device and after request made for termination

      If you have any shame left you will revert the last bill which is charged unethically and illegally.

      DONT try to harrass or send illegal notices in name of law as these cases are not settled in Criminal Courts, I will be moving to Consumer court
      if you harass me further.


      I have all legal mail communications done from month of November and all Paid bills for duration which your device was not working and when I asked to terminate services you took 2months to terminate same.

      I received the same mail from this same lawyer.

      I had requested an address change when I moved to my new house. That request was not attended at all.

      So, the next time when I got a call from customer care, I informed them to deactivate the account and I had paid the bill for that month as well.

      But they did not deactivate it and they had been calling me again and again to hear the same reason.

      Now, I have received a mail from this guy. Is he truly the legal authority of Reliance? I find his mail ID as "RELIANCE LEGAL <reliance.[protected]@gmail.com>". Why should a big company like reliance use gmail for their legal purposes?

      When I called the contact number Mr/Miss. VINAY OR DEEPIKA On Telephone No:[protected] /40942435 as mentioned in the mail, a lady picked up and she did not spoke for a while. She was were very sceptical to respond and when I enquired about my address change request, she said there is no record.

      I see this to be a fraudulent team. This should be cross checked.

        Hi ,

        My name is tamee .My Datacard number [protected] . I am subscribed to Brdbnd5GDy10GNgt400 . I usuall get 449 rupees as monthly bill . On Feb someone from reliance called me and told me that I got a gift for using Reliance (Reebok watch and reliance sim card). I told them to send to my address . When I asked them they told me the SIM is free and prepaid and so I gave my proof . The next day I received call from someone asking me to confirm the postpaid monthly plan .I told them I dont need any reliance postpaid connection and not to activate the SIM they gave me . Thay told Okay it wont be activated .

        Later in Feb and March months bill I got 200 extra for the SIM I did not use .So I did not pay bill and my connection was barred .I had raised complaint asking them to remove the unknown number from my bill .But I did not get a proper reply from Reliance .The worst customer service I have ever seen . I was given lot of service request numbers but no resolution.

        Later I was told to pay only my reliance internet bill and I did and they gave my connection back for only one day .The next day it got barred again . I am cheated by Reliance . They send me Sim card saying it is prepaid and later charging for it .

        I have suggested 4 of my friends to buy reliance and they did . Now I regret looking at the service they provide .I am so frustrated and cheated . I need my connection back . I have attached few of the emails I sent and service request numbers they gave me . Thanks

        Reliance Netconnect — wrong billing- cheated

        Myself Sanjeev Kashyap is an old customer of reliance(Netconnect no. [protected]) , but currently i am really unhappy with the poor feedback from reliance and its executive. I had registered a request of change of plan on 30 April 2012(Request id[protected], but the request has not been processed whereas i was in a belief that my plan has been changed as i had requested. Now the reason i am getting for such an action is that the plan which i requested had been discontinued, which i was never told before today. If such was the case i should have been notified for the same before proceeding on with the same plan, on the contrary i am getting the feedback that nothing can be done now from their side. I am unable to understand such an incompetent behavior from reliance toward the customer.Now i have been billed as per previous plan , which is duly their mistake not mine

          I had this connection installed on 28/04/2013 (ID[protected] and its been 12th day today since I had this connection. Unfortunately, Reliance failed to provide me connectivity in 9 out of 12 days. Well this is no strange after having this connection I figured out on internet that there are thousands of people suffering from ill services of Reliance Broadband.

          Well, I requested them to discontinue this connection on phone many times and they'ld put my call on hold telling me to wait until they transfer the call to billing and no one will ever show up again on the call.

          Many times I emailed the customer care for the same but either they'd respond with the "assurance of our best services" templates or they don't respond at all like they don't care.

          Taken a step forward I am stopping the cheque which I issued for the installation and advanced rental payment.

          Hopefully this would attract their attention.

              I am following up with Reliance regarding issue of Non available to make calls in spite of having balance of more than Rs. 230 in my account. I went to Reliance Care at Vasundra Ghaziabad twice, the executive over there said it will be resolved but not resolved yet. He gave idea of converting pre-paid to Post Paid with Add on on my second number which is post paid +91-[protected],and then service will resume in 3 hours.I did the same on yesterday but still no service.

              My first Service number was[protected] and second service number was[protected] for my number +91-[protected]. Due to this I have Borne huge loss in my business for Rs. 100,000 and would like to take this further to Court and Media for further actions.

              I can give another chance today to resolve this issue or else :

                I am a user of Reliance communication from last 4 Months, i got my first bill of Rs. 500 Approx , 2nd bill Rs. 1000 Approx, 3rd bill Rs. 2500+,

                I have paid all my bill on time or Before receiving the bill, but now this thime they have charged me for Rs. 6800 Approx. as per my knowledge i have not make a lot of ISD and STD call that i get this much of Bill.

                On the other end they have barred my all out going calls without any information. i have already paid Rs. 2000 for ISD activation and Rs. 2000 advanse against my April bill.

                My main concern is My billing Cycle is 5th of every month and every time they given me my invoice till 12 of every month, and asking for payment without invoice if i refuse to pay they got barred my all out going calls.

                Mr. Sunil is from Reliance is coordination with me form Faizabad him Mobile No. is [protected] & Mr. Rakesh id From Lucknow [protected], they were asking me to pay without invoice.

                After a many request to port my connection in other they are not responding me properly, when i sent an sms to port the costomere care team is not not responding me properly , The do have network issue as well on my residential area , after a long compliant they are also not working on same.

                i just want to have privilege from reliance if they are going to inactive my calls they should inform me and provide me bill on time so that i can pay.

                    Dear Team,

                    I believed Reliance is the best network. Even I suggest my friends for MNP to Reliance. But now I feel ashame on this service provided and treatment from reliance customer support. Its more than 2 weeks I have send an request to change my postpaid to prepaid ([protected]). I contact a girl from pondicherry in reliance show room for my changes and submitted all the required documents . she promised me that this will take 5 working days. even after 9th working day, my changes didnt happen. Till now 2 verification calls have been done from Reliance. When i called 198, they are also not helping me.

                    The worst customer Support I have faced is Reliance, money minded support. While opening a new account , they welcomed me with lots of smile and for cancellation they are shouting at me like talking with a culprit.
                    Till now i am paying the money for not using postpaid.
                    I hate to be a part of Reliance anymore.

                      i have switched to reliance through MNP connection,but i have been facing this problem of wrong billing fro the first date of billing.first of all my bill was generated wrongly under a wrong plan,and then i got a waiver of the amount very late.Now after 1 month o[censored]sage my bill is wrongly generated again,i fail to understand why is this happennig with me i would be really thankful if you could take care of this.the last date of my payment is 13-may-2013.

                      I am using Reliance Broadnet internet service, but after 3-4 hrs o[censored]sage in a month, sudenly my services were stopped without informing me.Reliance sent me a totally fabricated bill of Rs.2887.43 of that month They even barred my service for a long period. I had registered a complaint with some strong evidences with me like they show a session duration in my accounts in a day period, which is quiet impossible as in day time i am in office I had never used.They show session duration which indicates that there are some technical flaws from their side. They were not ready to accept the fact. They keep on tellling to pay the bill. At last i had no choice and i deposited my bill amount. So many people are complaining the same thing. The company should take this matter seriously and should stop cheating customers.

                        Dear All,
                        As we all know reliance broadband service has gone sick in last three months in pune. I dont know if the speed issue is now solved or not. But I am asking them for atleast 50% rental wavier for the months Feb, Mar and April 2013 for pathetic service. The speed was so slow that even browsing was impossible forget about video call on skype. My plan is day 400 kbps and night 500 kbps but even in night I was getting less than 50-60 kbps regularly in these months. The customer care is as arrogant as government servant when you ask about rental waiver. How can they do it. They should provide wavier without asking or atleast when asked but I am shocked by the arrogance of CC.

                        I also know they have provided rental wavier to some of the customers. This selective policy is very annoying, and I will keep complaining till I get wavier.

                        Reliance Broadband — Bad behaviour and frod

                        Dear all
                        I have reliance ID of[protected] .I am feeling very much aggrieved and hurt that I have opted for Reliance Broadband.My broadband connection was not in function from 16 dec to 26 dec 2009 . I was complaining almost each day day to their customer care. The persons at their Reliance World were very uncooperative and apathetic.I conatached One person who calls himself by the name of Vaibhav joshi . HE condescended to help me as if he is doing a very great JOB. But in reply they send me mail which reads:
                        Dear Mr.Panday,

                        This is with reference to your e-mail regarding "Bill related dispute" registered
                        under Service Request ID[protected]. Please note that your complaint has been
                        resolved with the resolution that all the network complaints registered has been
                        resolved within the given time frame. Hence we are unable to process the waiver.

                        Reliance Broadband + — irresponsible service

                        i have purchased a broad band connection two weeks back.i have been residing at Bangalore with my family
                        and the verification done by the reliance says that i am staying as bachelor. from two weeks the connection has not been activated and i get a foolish answer like the above mentioned . i have been going to the office but they are giving this foolish reply and they already collected 1500 as deposit saying they will reactivate it within one hour . after long follow up with them they are activated the service but the speed what i am getting now is 165 kpbs when the company offers 3.1 Mbps which is also fraud behavior.the employs in reliance outlet are very rude, unprofessional and lack o knowledge with broadband. kindly requesting you to please take an necessary action against reliance communication and kindly provide me the justice.

                        Sub: - Complaint with regard to excess billing for broadband connection
                        Ref: - Your letter dated 6th September, 2010 and our account number 15819729

                        With reference to the above, self would bring to your notice that we had pathetic experience of airtel broadband connection for one month. We took Rs.450 plan of airtel broadband in the month of June 2010. At the time of signing the account we have been informed by the sales executive that every month 3gb has been allotted as free download usage for us. We are staying at the residential apartment and our usage is very limited. Hence we had accepted for 3 GB and took the plan.

                        After a month of the plan we were shocked to see the excess billing of Rs.13000/-appx. from airtel. Will anyone using for residential purpose would be able to pay this much in one month? We tried asking for the proper information for such excess billing from the customer service and billing department. However, we fail to get any proper response. Further it was confirmed to us by one of the customer care officer that airtel would send their engineer to prove that the usage was done from our system. But on one had turned up till 17th july which was the due date for us payment. Finally we had received a call from the billing department on the same day (17th July 2010) stating our billing is correct and we have to make the payment for the same. When we asked for explanation, they failed to provide anything related to this.

                        Two times one of the collection agent had visited our place and we have also explained him about the excess billing and our refusal towards the payment. Still no solution was given to us. One of the executive from Retention department Mr.Shaik ([protected]) visited our place on 10th August,2010 for the same payment issue. We have again asked for the clarification towards the excess billing. But of no vein. At last it was confirmed by the executive that our MODEM would be taken by him compensating the payment. Since there was no use of the same for us, we had handed over the same to him. It was also confirmed by that agent would airtel would send a written communication to us confirming the receipt of the MODEM and there would not be any further issues with regard to the payment in future. He had also written his name, contact number and acknowledgment for the receipt of the MODEM in our bill dated 27th July, 2010.

                        In spite of doing all this we regret to inform that we have received a reminder letter towards the payment balance. THIS IS COMPLETELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. We never expected that such a big organisation would behave so cheap to the customers. We are using airtel mobile connection for the past 5 years. Till date before even we receive the bill, we make the payment in advance and it is not required for us to cheat anyone. But it is real mental agony to us by the activities of airtel.

                        Today self had spoken to Ms.Asma at mobile number [protected] which was given in the reminder letter. Now she has informed us that the problem would be sorted out and she would get back to us soon. We are not sure if we get solution after this or not. This forced us to write to you thinking that you would take immediate action to solve this issue.

                        But at the time of purchase I was not knowing that I am going to be fully cheated.

                        Your service is really disgusting, from the date of purchase I am getting speed of 5kbps - 35 kbps. Do you know the meaning of "Broadband" and then "+".

                        while purchasing of your device you have promised me speed of 3.1MBPS. I am not even getting speed of 50kbps. there is problem to every site, to open gmail it requires 10 min.

                        Many times I have complaint to your customer (un)care center but no action.

                        On your customer care chat service, I have complaint 5 times. On 19th April, I come to know that privious 4 complaint are not at all raised and customer care execative has given me false request number. How disgusting it is. Is this your way of working?

From last 2 days I connect with customer care so many times but I am not getting any resolution for my complaint & they are not ready to take any complaint & redirecting me to the Reliance web world. I spoke with one of the customer care team leader & asked him for the manager Escalation he put the call on hold for more than 30 min. It was a mantel harassment for me that customer’s Call rate was change without any reason I am not getting proper resolution for my complaint.

                              In This 4 years I was happy to use service but just because of this bad experience now I decided to Port this number to other operator.

                                Hello,
                                I a customer with reliance number:[protected] n delhi area. I lost my mobile some days ago along with reliance sim. I blocked the number. Then i went to reliance store in Laxminagar area In delhi in order to have duplicate sim..When i went there in first time there server was not working. So i came back without number..Meanwhile i was 4 days without number so i lost many business transactions.. Then I went again on the 2nd day and because of the job i reached there at 8 p.m with all documents hoping i will get the sim today as i had already lost many transactions due to non availability of number. But when asked for sim the person sitting there did not hear that and told me to come next day.but at the same time he was giving the sim to other customer. So on one side he was neglecting the old customer as i had documents ready and it was just a matter of 5 minutes. I wanted the sim urgently but the person did no hear this. As i a a working person i told him i cant get tie before 8. and he should consider this but the reliance store person was not interested. This made me loss of many business deals and other things besides harassment i faced in travelling for far away place. If reliance store cannot assure proper service to the customers then they should not open such stores.Due to pathetic service i remained without number for 5 days and still not got number..!

                                I hope reliance will take a serious note of it and improve its services in reliance stores

                                      My Reliance Broadband services are out of order since the month of March. I called customer care number of times about my internet not working and was told that it is purely due to maintenance activities and I will get a waiver in my billing amount. Though a waiver was provider and I settled my previous dues, new bill was generated and sent to me including the waved off amount of previous month.

                                      Sir, I have all the recordings of calls with customer care and have already requested to cancel my connection no .[protected] on 16 Apr 2013. But still no action is taken, though my services are already terminated long back, modem is not collected from my place. I have made complaints for Cancellation (Request no.[protected] but receive same monotonous response that I will receive a call from Reliance soon.

                                      I have heard from my friends that intentionally modem is not collected for long duration and then bill is generated for un-served period.
                                      Please see to it that no new bill is generated in my name and that modem is collected from my place.
                                      It is really shameful that Reliance services were not upto mark and leaded to treachery.

                                      I have received a bill for Rs 700 odd at my address. This is despite my communication to reliance, not to send any bill after the last full and final payment. Service Request ID[protected]

                                      The termination request was made in first week of July and I got a confirmatory call for termination on 9th July 2009. The amount Rs. 367.00/- paid as my last bill having the following details Invoice Number:[protected] and dated 14th July 2009 was 5 days after the confirmatory call from Reliance's Mumbai office to terminate the service. While making the payment of the last bill I had clearly mentioned in my communication with [protected]@relianceada.com to consider it as 'full and final payment'.

                                      The disconnection request was made for the reason that the internet service as well as the free phone were not working. Why should the customer be asked to pay for something which is not working? Still I made the last payment thinking I’ll fulfill my responsibility to make the payment and get the service disconnected. Till today I have not got any communication from Reliance to take away the modem (other equipment) and disconnect the service.

                                      The company should not ask me to pay anything now for all the trouble I have been through.

                                      Reliance Broadband — Money collected for no service provided

                                      I had applied for a Reliance Broadband connection on the 7th of December 2010 and paid a cheque for Rs. 500/- as processing fees the same day. As the service had not been provided for more than 15 days, I asked them to cancel my request and return the cheque (as promised by the guy who collected the cheque). My continual follow up was met with silence till the 2nd of Feb. when a customer care executive issued a service request #[protected] for the issue to be resolved. However on the 9th of Feb. 2011, Reliance en-cashed my cheque for no apparent reason (not even a dog from that company had entered my house to lay a cable) and are refusing to pay my money back for no service provided.

                                      Reliance Broadband Service — unfair billing and charge for period when no service

                                      i was using reliance broadband service form last 10 months and i got connection by paying 6 month advance rent to them , during that six months there were many days when there were no services available so i used to call on call center for the same and they promised me that as i am new customer and as my first bill yet to generate they are unable to give me waiver for period i have no service from them , after my first bill generate there was no waiver so for that when i contacted them there were telling me that they are having details of only 3 months and they can't help me for waiver , i had been discussion this long time with all authority at reliance but they are just refusing waiver telling they don't have any complaint form me so they are not able to give me waiver but fact is they have this computer generated sms system when u register a complaint and at that time i received emails from them. i am very disappoint with there response i am requesting you what sort of help you
