I have an account in sbi and have internet banking facility for it. I also authorised my transaction rights, and according to the bank everything seems to be alright . But ive been trying to add a third party account for the past one month and nothing seems to happen. Everytime i choose add third party option, enable high security option through mobile comes up.. Even after registering the no. the site says not registered. Done the procedure 8 times in 4 weeks. Does sbi atleast have a Customer call no., if so where the hell can i get the no. ??? Ive tried talkin to branch people, nobody is helpful .

hello, i m namita kathat from moran assam, i have complaint regarding the sbi employees of our local branch... i m frm a remote place and so i have to ravel a long distance to the bank... but last three days the employee who delivers the passbook is being absent and it is creating a great problem for me as well as the others customers... and as per i know she is a temporary employee in the branch...
i also would like to menion if she has some problem then she should have other employee in the post who coul carry her job.
and many times it is found that she is misbehaving the customers.

    (a) unable to login please send user ID and Password.

    un able to log in with userid and password given by bank. while login it says INVALID USERNAME OR PASSWORD WHILE while writing complaint on bank sight it says give valid account no. and branch. i have transfered my accont from i a f vadsar to bangalore hassarghatta rd branch.i have visited bank twice but no result.sunil
    while i am entering the user name password and changing that and creating my profile password ,the page got expired.then again i tried but it says invalid,what to do next,,,,
    1)I did not receive my renewed credit card no-[protected], valid thru 11/11 though despatched through blue dart on[protected].
    2)I could not login even after writing correct CVV no, Date of Birth today on[protected].Kindly look into both.

      I would like to bring to your notice the problem faced by me with the SBI ATM (Pune, CAC, Koregaon park, STC). I have withdrawn RS 10000 from my SBI ATM account on 30/11/2007 at 10.45 am. The ATM costumer advice dated 3rd December 2007 from the same ATM Rs. 10000/- debited twice on the same day. I could not report the same since I was out of station.
      My A/c No. at SBI Khadki, (Pune) 1629 is [protected] and my ATM card no. is[protected].

      Kindly look in to the matter and rectify.

      i have applied SBI ATM Card on September 2007 but upto till date not received my ATM Card so i request to you please send me my ATM Card
      I would like to bring to your notice the problem faced by me with the SBI ATM (narela (delhi). I have tried to withdraw RS 10000 from my SBI ATM account ON 23TH/12/07 at that time there was some problem and the response came that the transaction could not be done,there are 2-atms in narela but both are not working ,one is closed from 12 days and other one are out of order from 10 days how can we withdraw money.this is very shame to sbi.

      I applied for ATM on 12-Feb-2007 at branch SBI Kurnool, AP still I have not been able to get it. I met to chief manager there on 12-Feb-2007, he told me that he has forwarded my application form to Mumbai branch and ATM will be issued by them in 15 days. when I will be able to get my ATM card.

      I m really disappointed to see the performance of SBI customer services. I lost my ATM then i was trying to block my card and dialing the customer care number but no one was picking my phone. regularly I have dialed that till 2 hours or more than two hours then I was able to block my card.
      after that I found my card from that time to till today I am trying for unblock my card but no one has attend my phone, I am working woman so I can not go to my branch office in the middle days. But I want to say only that SBI or other banks can not compare itself to the private banks. They are fast, active and so much caring for the customers not like the SBI.
      Even SBI has not providing the facility to know the balance on phone, then how can they feel to grow. They can do never. Etc......... Etc.............
      But let me know how can i unblock my SBI ATM card without going to SBI Bank?????

      I am waiting for the response and also suggest to SBI heads please improve your staff and improve your services, if they want to grow in future.....
      My name is Pankaj Mishra.I forgot my ATM password & unable to withdraws money kindy suggested me what can be done in order to get new password.
      On 8th March, 2008 Rs.500/- has been wrongly debited from my savings account as an ATM withdrawal which I never really made.
      this is probably due to malfunction of problem-prone Bonhooghly ATM where on that same day I have withdrawn Rs.500/-, which has been entered as a double withdrawal of Rs.5oo/- (debit), as shown in current mini statement. However the balance report after that withdrawal did not display that error.

      I have complained to the Branch Manager of Bonhooghly Ind Estate where I have my savings a/c but yet to get my money restored back into my a/c.
      i lost my atm card, pls let me know how to block atm debit card
      I had opened a new account at SBI Khadki branch. A/C no [protected]. I was told that I'll receive my cheque book and ATM in next 10 days. But its already 15 days but i've not received the ATM/cheque book. Please info me the status. I tried to contact the branch but the only landline no mentioned in the passbook gives fax tone.

      I have opened a NRE/NRO account with SBI, Arya Samaj Road Branch, Mangalore in May 2009

      I have also personally applied for an ATM card in June 2009 and also have requested for a bank
      statement but till date i have not recieved any correspondence from them.

      I urgently need both the Statements and the ATM card.

        I am having auto sweep A/C in State Bank of India in Berkhera branch Bhopal. I issued a cheque for Insurance of my vehicle and the same was presented to my bank but it was dishonor by bank with remark " IN SUFFICIENT FUNDS" were is there was sufficient funds in my A/C.

        The same was happened in earlier days also with the cheque issued against the telephone bill & Insurance of my vehicle. At that time my phone was disconnected due to non-payment of bill in time. Same I reported to my bank manager and he has given in writing it shall not be repeated in future. but same has happened again.
        In view of the above many people are not accepting my cheque due to fear of dishonor. Please do the needful at your end.

        Dear sir,



        Need your help as I m being harassed by SBi people, they are not reverted on any of the mails of call.

        I m trying Darganj Phone from last 10 days but no one is answering.



        I have put a request for ATM debit card personally in Allahabad but have not received the same it is almost 25 days.

        Got the cheque book just 8 days back and have issued a of 50000 which was dishonoured by SBI without informing me.

        If they can credit amount of 82000 recently but cannot debit it.



        I have not got any response since I have opened a account with SBI.

        Now I am in Ahmedabad and cannot go to Allahabad I need money urgently but unable to withdraw as I don’t have ATM card, when I am trying through internet it is saying my mobile is not updated on system(mobile nos was provided at the time of opening the account).

          I applied for GE SBI Credit Card...

          It is almost a month and half my documents have not Reached to the bank. I gave the my documents to one of the DSA's of GE SBI ..the phone number of the DSA is[protected] and the name of the executive is Sugandhi. I have shared my problem in the mail ID feedback.[protected]@ge.com and head.[protected]@gesbi. but it was of no use.

          In the revert of my mail my application has been declined but according to customer care they have not received my documents. I am worried that what will I do if my documents get misused. Someone suggest please.
          I have an issue regarding an promotional offer of Insurance for which charges were levied against me without my proper consent and i am also being sent Legal notices and being threatened that i will be taken to the court without my dispute being resolved which is going on from past 1 year now.

          Only request to SBI is please don't harm our characters and work as per the policies laid down by RBI.

          I have opted for a platinum card had been on SBI agents' own approach/insistence and upon subsequent field verifications, the same had been approved by vide email and SMS alert. However to my sheer dismay, a gold card have been sent to me, which I already have from HDFC, without taking my prior consent or approval. Further this kind of act is a breach of trust /intent and an expression of your dishonor to customers' self esteem, which is very unbecoming from reputed venture like GE-SBI. In this era of consumerism, I cannot believe how come reputed ventures like GE-SBI cards can win over customers, if they resort to this kind o[censored]nethical attitude towards customers.
          Dear Sir, I have applied for SBI card one month back, your representative Mr. Muttukumar.K(IBC Sales) collected all documents from our office and he gave a phone no [protected]. So for I enquired several times, yesterday he told that I have not got the card, when I asked further details he used all fithy words to express his views and me that he is no more working there? My question is that 1.is it not his duty to inform us correct information? 2.why your appointing such a ungreatful peapople in your reputed institute, is it not harms SBI? 3.Really if you have control over your people, are you not advise to appologise for this incident?; I can not belive how come reputed ventures like SBI CARDs canwin the costomers love and affection without resolving sadistic and unethical approch of your representative!           My credit card is not working since last 15 days, I have made the complaint and was told by customer care that i will get new card within 10 days but still i have not received any card. Now by sbi customer complaint i am told that i have to submit id proofs . Now i have decided to stop my credits with sbi credit card.
          SINCE 15 DAYS BACK I HAD APPLIED FOR RS.37, 000.00 AS LOAN ON MY CREDIT CARD NO.[protected] THROUGH INTERNET FOR A TENURE OF 48 MONTHS WITH A INSTALLMENT OF RS.1141.00 PER MONTH.

          AS ASSURED BY SBI CARD NET SYSTEM THAT THE SAME WILL REACH TO ME WITH IN 5 DAYS BUT 15 DAYS HAS BEEN PASSED I AM STILL IN DARK AS I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE SAME .

          Lost month i was give a Cheqe number 393250, Amount Rs 5120.00 date 23/12/08.my account statement is payment recived Rs 5120.00.Now this month same cheqe was return told me Mr Vinoth kumar.What problem.

          Hi,

          On May 14th I have sent a mail for increasing the credit limit for my Credit Card No. [protected]. My initial credit limit is Rs.24000/-. I am using the SBI Card for more than 2 years. I am regularly using the credit card and properly paying my due amount and EMI also. Many times i have requested to increase the credit limit. But they have not increased the credit limit. Then the customer care executives asked me to submit my other bank credit card statements. Based on the request I have sent latest two monthly statement for my citi bank card which is having Rs.89000/- credit limit.

          On 19th May I got the call from SBI card to make a payment of Rs.500 for increasing the credit limit. Based on the request immediately i have paid the amount of Rs.500.
          Already i have paid Rs.1500 on 18th May thru net payment. The amounts are posted in my accounts. But my request of credit limit increasing is not happened.
          Today again I got a call from SBI Card (Ph No. [protected] - Telecaller Name: Sophia) to make a payment of Rs.200 for increasing the credit limit.

          The telecaller who has made a call on 19th has not informed the same thing at the time of telecalling. Why telecallers are not giving the correct information?
          Kindly take necessary action on the telecaller who has given the wrong information. Based on the wrong information again i am getting another one call for making a payment. It is not good. I asked the telecaller Sophia to raise the complaint against the previous telecaller, she has given a Ref. No.[protected]. Please confirm on the reference number.

          Please check and confirm...

          I am SBI card holder since few months I am not getting monthly statement of Credit card, difficult to track my overdues.Thanks
          More than two years ago I cancelled my SBI Credit Card (since I was not satisfied with that) and also received a reply from SBI stating that my card has been duly cancelled. But even till date, I receive phone calls from SBI customer care stating about offers and other facilities available for SBI cards. I have told SBI executives "N' number of times that I do not possess an SBI Credit Card any more and requested them to cancel my name and ph number from their database. It all turns into a deaf ear. SBI customer database is not at all updated. They retain old customers also in their existing customer data base and that is the confusion. I believe atleast this comment comes to the notice of SBI and they remove non-existant customers from their database and ensure they do not disturb old customers stating about this offer, that offer by way of customer care and tele marketing.

          I have been blacklisted from your card company whereas i am even unaware of the outstandings as i was an employee of GE Capital about in 1999 and thats about it. May be you isuued a card in my name, the details of which i dont have. This is causing a problem in my hiring with new employers.           My payment towards igl for Rs.670/- on my card no [protected] has been made through my cheque no.329591, a copy of which was returned back to me stating that payee name is not correct and charging Rs.300/- for "could not be banked" account.
          sbi card section has written in their ref no[protected] dt nil, my card no as[protected]. I just could not understand. I have written my above stated card no. They have written some other no. It must have been in some others name. how can they charge Rs.300/- for the fault of theirs. pl check up and reply me immediately.

          Dear Sir,
          Yesterday I received a letter ref no[protected] stating that payee name not correct and they stated my card account no as[protected] and they returned back a copy of my ch. no. 329591 dt 8.2.2010 for Rs.670/- and charged me Rs.300/- on account of this. I wonder how they stated a wrong credit card no.

          My no.[protected] which is correctly written in my cheque with my name inscribed by SBI themselves. Then where is the wrong? why did not the card section doubly check the no and name and unnecessarily charging for no fault of mine and give mental tension. Hope this is corrected by card section and expecting a favourable reply. Phone no[protected] always seem to be busy and where can we go if they work like this.

          Every month I used to pay some bills and a frequent user of this card.

          Dear Sir,
          I recd a letter ref no[protected] only yesterday stating that payee name is not correct with a card a/c no as [protected] charging me Rs.300/- for could not be banked account with a copy of my cheque.

          In my cheque I have quoted my correct no. If it is wrongly searched, naturally name would differ. what is the problem? How this could have happened? My card account is [protected] I am a frequent user. How can they charge me for their wrong doing.
          Hope they would correct their mistake and not charging me Rs.300/- for their wrong doing. What phone no they have given. Always it gives in tamil as busy.[protected]. Is this the good way of working.

          while applying for the card, i was told there is no fee for the card. but in the first month statement 500rs as a processing charge has been charged. also my credit limit is only 36000rs promised credit limit was 1lakh. can you please help me out. i have other private bank credit card which has been provide without any fees.

          can you please tell me the procedure to terminate the card.
          I had a GE SBI credit card issued to me in the year[protected] on which i had done a settlement of Rs 7000 paid in 3 EMI's of Rs 2, 333 each ending on 29th April'03 .The card to my understanding was closed then basis the same .I was issued a settlement letter by GE SBI then .Now 7 years later I get a call from GE SBI stating that I have an outstanding of Rs 1 Lac on the card wherein when the card was issued to me, the credit limit on the card was Rs 17, 000 .my credit card no is [protected].I want to close this issue ASAP, pls help .

          Hi,
          I have been using SBI credit card no. [protected]. I also mail to you regarding this on dated. 7th Aug 10 but there is no respone or call from SBI Cards. Now today on 25th August2010 I have receivd my card statement through email, statement show card is blocked due to non payment of July month statement, but nobody has contacted me from sbi card, I tried their help line but unfortunately they kept me on hold for atleast 20 to 40 minutes.

          1. I issued the cheque 120004 and drop into to SBI Card Machine dt 26July10 vide Rc # 000001 Machin ID SBI015 at kalkaji branch amounting `15000/- agt statement dt. 23July10 amount of `19426.36. Through sms (TM-SBI Card) they confirm that they recievd the chq. on dt. 29July10.

          2. On dt. 01Aug.10 I recvd a msg. from LM-SBI Card your chq. return unpaid due to other's letter. I saw the msg and contact customer care after a long hold (27minute) I connect with Miss Dipsy I telll her about the message and ask whats the reason of chq. return she told me that they recievd the chq. But what the reason is chq. not credit into the ac and they have no information on their system regarding chq return and you have to wait for 2-3days or our representative contact to you.

          3. After 4-5 days later no budy contact to me from Sbi card then I call aging to customer care after 15 – 20 minutes line connect with Mr. TARUN I ask the same Qustion about why my cheq. not present yet to my bank and they said chq. Is return unpaid from my account how is possible without any reason bank is return the chq. I ask the reason to him and he told me that aging the same word of depsi they have no information regarding this and you have to wait for 1 – 2 days or contact to your bank why is chq return without any reason. I confirm my bank I am shocked my bank says there is no anyone chq. Present from SBI or any others chq present then how its return I can't understand why they cheat me or telling lye I am fedup all this and their services. (Bank statement enclose for clearfication of not presenting, return the chq)

          4. On 10 Aug 10 after 3days later no budy contact me from Sbi card then I call again to customer care after waiting 15minutes line connect with a south Indian lady I ask the same what is the reason of chq return but she unable to understand and communicate in English or Hindi. I cannot communicate in their regional language. Then I told him to connect with your senior then she connect me with Mr Bala, I told him to whole the story regarding the chq. Not present in bank, they said chq return by yr bank he told no problem sir we have the chq. we present it again in 1 or 2 days. I told him that after 2 days is due date of the statement he said nothing to worry its clear and you issued another balance amount chq to clear the balance dues and have not charge any late fee or any other charges. I ask him aging he gave me any reference or complaint no regarding this he says we don’t have this you don’t worry its clear and we cannot charges extra. I issued Chq. # 120006 dt. 11 Aug 10 balance `4426.36 and drop at SBI New Friends Colony branch.

          5. Now I have received regular call on words 15 Aug 10 from SBI collection department about Payment. I told them all story but the said your chq is return unpaid and contact customer care.

          6. On 25Aug10 I recived my Aug statement through mail I am shocked, shaw the statement shows Late fee chrges `767.13 and Finance charges also `1022.56. I can't understand what happning, why they cheat me. I immediate call customer care to speak the bull , I tell him the story but I am shoked she said "Sir you are rude and you are pissing me off and I am trying to help you but you are not understanding anything you have to paid the amount other wise we know the way to collect the payment"... those were the exact words of the executive.

          7. The customer service has been very harsh and has not been helpful. They are rude and often end up giving wrong information to the clients.

          So, I request to you help me for the same as soon as possible.

              i am mehul dudhela, i have applied to SBI mandvi baroda for education loan for abroad study with full guarantee and gurantor.property of gurantor was in baroda including one big bunglow and 10 lacs sbi fix deposits. manager has refused under reason that candidate is residing in bhavnagar distric at shihor, but as it is taluka place and there is no branch of sbi. eventhough sufficient gurantee manager refused for loan on the base that as candidate residing in sihor , he has to applied to nearest barnch. But my sponser is residing in baroda and their property and fd also in baroda it is easy to pass loan within time limit. i also contact bhavnaghar branch they first advise to go to baroda branch as gurantor and their property id in baroda then he agree that it will take lot of time but i have only 1 month to go to australia my application number in baroda is racpc/hl/pl/430 dated 5/11/2007

                I am a Medical practitioner working in one of the biggest hospitals in Chennai.I am very painful to say that people of SBI credit card,approached me several times before luring me in SBI credit card.Without knowing how Fraudulent it is I bought the card in January 2007 only to realise how they fooled few months later.They kept adding interest rates at higly un-acceptable levels and confused me by the system of reapayment.
                Ultimately I grew very impatient that I closed the SBI card in October 2007,but I cleared the high interest.

                I was a SBI Credit Card Holder During The Period[protected]. At the time of Joining they offered a card without annual payment. But later asked me to pay the annual fee. I have paid the amount and informed through Helpline Number. They offered will return back the amount (RS. 961.55/-) as cheque. Now they are sending monthly statement with a unknown Card Number and deducting RS.49/- from each month. Presently i am not holding any SBI card after closing the previous card in 2008February. Please consider this matter.

                  I have been registered for the health insurace though sbi credit card. At the time of registration they told me that i will receive the documents related with the health insurance. Even after that i lodged the complain many times. But they did not send the the documents.

                  I am still waiting for that. Even i told them that if it is not possible for you to send the document pleae cancel it and credit my account .

                    Infact my experience with SBI cards has been worst and similar to what many others have also faced. In the first place, I receive an unsolicited credit card( I had applied for SBi railway card while they happily sent me SBI gold card) which I had never activated. However, I started getting monthly statements with the insurance chrages as the amount outsanding. Despite me constantly asking the customer service people to cancel my card, I have been receiving card statements and right now the amount due has come up to Rs.2119 being payment due towards the insuarnce charges. Even after writing to the customer service, this issue has not been resolved till now.

                    I have been advising everyone not to go in for SBI cards. The company does not have any professional ethics.
                    I'M ATTACHING THE MAILS THAT I HAVE SENT TO SBI BUT HAVE NOT RESPONDED/

                    Dear Sir,

                    After making full n final settlement also, your executives are again calling me for o/s amount and talking very rude and in abusive language.

                      There is a charge in My 17th Sep.06 Credit Card statement of SBI Card for Rs.5000/- stating Cash withdrawal from ATM at Delhi alongwith the cash transaction fee.

                      I immeidately disputed as I have never travelled since more than 20 years to Delhi and provided all the necessary documents to SBI Cards Gurgaon office and the same is acknowledged by them stating they are investigating the same.

                      However, till today there is NO PROPER RESPONSE on this amount wrongly charged to my card a/c instead there is penalty charged for the same for non-payment.

                      I have sent everymonth twice mails to them to their Vice President by Name Mr.Ajay Bharti's ID and always received a response stating this is under investigation.

                      I have stopped using this card since May 07 and the outstanding amount only pertains to the wrong amount charged to my card in Aug.06 alongwith related charges for nonpayment of the same.

                      I have received a mail from them in Sep.07 the case is referred to to their dispute cell and till today NO response. Instead their recovery agents are calling daily and harassing me to pay this amount which I have turned down stating the amount is not payable.

                      I was surprised LEADING BANK OF INDIA is taking more than 1 year to investigate a wrong charge in their transaction apart from harassing their customers to pay the same.

                      I HAVE INFORMED ALL MY KNOWN FRIENDS AND RELATIVES NOT TO TAKE SBI CARD AS THEIR SERVICES ARE POOR COMPARED TO A SMALL PROVISION SHOP IN INDIA.

                      I WANT TO PUT THIS COMPLAINT SO THAT PEOPLE WHO READS IN INDIA OR OTHER COUNTRIES SHOULD COME TO KNOW HOW THE INDIA'S LEADING BANK IS MANAGING THEIR CREDIT CARD BUSINESS BY NOT SOLVING A DISPUTED TRANSACTION SINCE 1 YEAR.

They have already deducted Rs. 200 from my account but I have not received my card so far. I am daily calling the customer service but getting the same reply that the card is under process.
                          Please let me know whom to contact regarding this.

                            Hello All,

                            I am here to share a very pathetic experience I had with SBI Credit Card. I have a SBI Gold Card. I am having problems since the day I have got this card.

                            First of all I never receive the statements on time. I have called 10 time (exactly) to the customer care dept. to give them my correct email address, and to have my statements on time in mail. Every time they take down my email address and till date ie: after 10 calls and 6 months, I still receive paper statements and that too after the due date is over.

                            Immediately I start getting calls from the so called Recovery Dept. They are extremely rude and abusive.
                            I would say being rude would be acceptable when it comes to the SBI people calling. They are ABUSIVE in such a way that they normal educated people can't even think about it.

                            I HEREBY CAUTION OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE READING THIS.

                            Please, and please never ever think about going for an SBI Card.

                            I am going through a horrible time, even after making payments on time (ie: as soon as I receive my statements). Half of my productive time goes in making the sitting taking calls in the customer centre what my problem is. Every time they say I will help you in a very cold manner. But still the same things are continuing.

                            IF ANY LAWYER IS READING THIS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT ACTIONS CAN BE TAKEN. I AM READY TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TEACH SBI A LESSON. I AM READY TO SPEND MONEY BEHIND THE CASE, BUT ATLEAST I WILL MAKE SURE OTHERS ARE SPARED OF THIS HORRIBLE TREATMENT METTED OUT TO ME.

                            I have a outstanding of some amount in SBI credit card dept. At the every 20th of the month i get calls from recovery people. And the calls are very abusive. It became so serious that once it even affected by health. I was in so much of tension after the Recovery agent gave me a call that i got Facial Paralysis. I have all the Medical documents with me. And just the last month one more recovery agents called me and she threatened me like a police and my mistake she called my relatives house as my phone was busy and she tortured my relative that even he was ill. I would like you to take severe action against them.
                            I have experience of my own card too, I asked the recovery people not to call me again and started disconnecting calls. I was over billed after a balance transfer and I asked the SBI cards to waive off or forget the whole amount. I asked them to claim the amount in court as i am willing to appear in a court of law. They don't reveal much about the outstanding and balance transfer details are not at all transparent. They had no other option but to waive off the amount and apologize for their rude behaviors...


                            Can anybody help me finding the owners of the following Phone Nos which SBI card people uses for recovery of dues.

                            I was traveling with my friend on my way back to palakkad from Kochi. The Sbi card Collection people has started abusing for not paying the bill, the bill was not correct as they used to debit continuously 300 Rs per two month for some porn site payment and they wee not able to give details of the payment even though dispute forms were submitted. So The cards were used for the max possible credit limit and payments were put on hold. The Recovery executives started abusing when intimated that no payments will be made with out waiving excess bills. Even abused the person's mother and father and called their home too and abused his father and mother. So Complaints will be mad to BSNL to track the origin of call and requested in writing to record the BSNL Incoming calls from Chennai.

                            I would advise every one of you to use the card to the whole extent. If any body get a chance to bash the recoveries, better at first not do that use the card for complete credit limit, ask the recovery department to send the collection guy and try to get him in to your house and make a scene and tie him up and his accomplice and complaint to police for his indecent behavior (cooked up story). If possible treat him well and get his manager too and give a quotation to him as well. if abuses are in telephones try to record the call using sophisticated devices and publish it in media. You can irritate them at first by starting to abuse them on one first wrong signal. Next call onwards you can record and hand over to media like CNN or manorama news or india vision. I dont advise any one to become a defaulter, but such irresponsible behaviors from such people need not be tolerated. Education will only help you to deal with educated people and to deal with such , u need to behave as a local goonda./... Abuse them as well like they never heard such abuses b4.

                            As far as reward points are concern I don’t care about the same but my concern is only that without informing to me how SBI can deactivated the credit card.

                            Also please note I am not at all satisfied with the stupid explanations given by your tele-executives today regarding the deactivation of the above mentioned credit card. As per your tele-executives they had tried to contact me so many times and all the time my telephone but they didnot hve in touch with me hence SBI had de-activated my card but here I want to know the reason for why you people tried to contact me, and here I want to know the dates and timings of those calls. And also please let me know had you people sent any thing in writing before deactivation of this card.

                            I have this card with me from last more than 1 years but no body from SBI had contacted me till today regarding the above credit card and the day I had asked for the redemption of my reward points i came to know you people had deactivated my card due to above reason why……………????????                             SBI — Credit Card Recovery Agency use Abusive language

                            I was holding a SBI Gold Gold Card in my name Abdur Rauf Rahmani. Intially they told me its free of cost we wont charge anything but when the card came they put in yearly charges to it.
                            First month i got the statement but after one month i did not get any statement.... after complaining so many time to call center i didnot get any statement.... after that these people started calling from Gurgaon and started threatning and abusing on Phone..they use such abusive language .... i told them that i am out of station whenever i come back we will settle it down but they did not listen to me.... now few days back somebody called up from Chennai..and threated my mother that they will lodge a case against my sister and against my father..etc.....etc....
                            these peopel are such bad people.. is this the way to deal a customer????Please do something about it

                            SBI /credit Card — Harassing calls from SBI

                            Dear Sir,

                            Here I would like to request u that i was a X card holder of SBI & want to settle this matter full final amount for that i am writing & speaking to there SBI customer care people from last 4 months but there no response some there side for the settlement of this matter. Instead of that they harassed me by calling at my mobile number which reaches to me during my working hours of my office. Let me also explain or brie[censored] the exact story behind it. When i got there credit card the person who had fill my form told me that sir that i[censored] withdraw a cash amount from this credit card & i[censored] repay the withdrawal amount on time then there is no transaction & finance charges applicable for the First time. Even though i have not received the terms & conditions documents from the bank. For that i have called them so many times at starting but every time they say that soon u will get those documents. After all these hide & seek from the bank i finally ask them for the full final settlement for this matter. But, know they say that this matter cannot be settle down it can only be settled down by paying the unwanted amount raised by them i.e. Rs 8000. So, it’s my humble request to your dept to settle this matter with an appropriate amount. According to me the appropriate amount for the settlement is Rs.[protected]. For any further clarification please feel free to contact the undersigned person.

                            Sooner or later one will understand that opening any type of account with SBI is
                            really a waste of time and energy.

                            Please beware of SBI for your own good.

                            SBI is in the hands of some old and good for nothing employees who follow the same old style of functioning. Usual late coming, absconding from seats during office hrs when the customers are waiting impatiently for their turn in the ques, chat with collegues without any hesitation when people are waiting, no care for the updation of the software knowledge, wearing a serious look always as if the customers have come for some personal favour etc. How this bank will compete with the new generation banks? staking very tall claims about their service is their only way of function. Just remove the Govt. transactions from it and see the result. Not even a fly will look at it for its banking needs. Such is the shape of things in SBI. JUST FORGET IT.

                              I have dropped a cheque in drop box on 26.10.07 for the amount Rs. 3000/- (cheque no. is 543571 o[censored]TI bank).

                              This particular amount was debited to my UTI account on 31.10.07. As my due date for payment was 30th of every month.

                              This payment made by me is not shown as payments box in ur statement dated 10 Nov 2007.

                              I am attaching both my SBI Cr. Card statement and mini statement which showing Rs. 3000/- debited to my account for SBI.

                              Both the documents I have scanned in one file for quick reference.

                              Please look in to the matter and confirm whether the payment received by SBI againt my account and revert back.

                              The customer service has been very harsh and has not been helpful. They are rude and often end up giving wrong information to the clients.
                              For eg.
                              In 02/08/2007 I paid Rs. 9000/- but in that particular time my dues was Rs. 7811.13/-. So in that particular month I already paid excess Rs.1188.87/-. And for that particular reason the next month I can not pay my EMI (904.17+52.89) i.e. Rs. 957.04/- and request the customer care executive for adjustment the amount from the previous excess paid amount. The customer care executive agreed with me. But unfortunately after few days continuously some person from SBI card Dept. asked me for Rs.1800/- for the previous 957.04 and also for the particular months (Oct’07). In that particular time I already paid Rs.1000/- for Oct’07 dues. In that particular month Oct’07 I also go for a Balance Transfer for Rs. 8500/- (03/10/2007 reflected in Nov’07 statement). In that particular time SBI card Dept. send me collection agent and when I refuse to pay him he told that he can not return with empty hand the amount should adjusted from my balance transfer amount. Then I gave him a check for Rs.810/- But unfortunately when next statement (Nov’07) generated I found there was a FIN Charge on Unpaid Flexi amount Rs. 27.94/- added with my statement and Rs. 904.17 also not adjusted from my Total Amount due for this month (which is in the upper part of the statement) instead of that it is adjusted from Total Outstanding under Account’s summary (Which is the button part of the statement). And Dec’07 statement this type of error also found. (The think is that I can not receive the previous 2 statements hard copy, after receiving the hard copy of Dec’07 erroneous statement I view the Nov’07 statement through internet.). Recently I found through internet there is also a charge added which is under unbilled transaction i.e. Check pick up fee Rs. 61.80/-. My question is why I should pay this fee. I am totally confused, and don’t have any faith SBI Credit card Dept.
                              I send them mail regarding this for 4 times but still no reply is there.

                              The Agents of SBI cards are getting details of Account holders from State Bank of India, and contacting for giving credit cards. The Card Company using SBI logo which is deceiving. The agents at the time of obtaining signature in the application form say that the card is given free of cost for life time. Many people told me that they were cheated and lateron they got bills for activation charges etc. Some people told me that they get calls from insurance company ( Royal Sundaram) and even though they did not gave their consent, they got a policy worth 10 Lakhs and premium debited to their account illegally. I feel that the Name of the Card company should not have the words "SBI" and the card company should not use SBI logo. I hereby advice all the persons who got cheated by SBI Cards to approach Reserve Bank of India, ([protected]@rbi.org.in,[protected]@rbi.org.in,[protected]@rbi.org.in,[protected... Ministry of Finance- Govt. of India,([protected]@nic.in)[protected]@hotmail.com Banking Ombudsman, (see RBI Site). I have already taken up the matter with RBI on[protected].                               I took SBI Credit card in a corporate connection, while giving they said there is no AMC. But after 1 year the charged Rs. 900 as AMC, I disagree to pay the same.                               The worst service first they do mistake and behave extraordinary and when you request they will teach you law. Basically i am from male once i applied for demand draft and they put wrong account number in my demand draft when i asked them to make stop payment for old Demand draft and issue new one they have not done that means we need to pay for their mistake there is no courtesy i don't feel bad if foreign banks are coming and we are having account with them because at least they respect you as a customer. This time i sent Demand draft as it was very urgent it has not reached to my home bank so i requested the male branch manager he was teaching me that its financial instrument and all, as per my knowledge there should not be any problem in making stop payment and issuing new demand draft.
                              Honestly speaking i really don't like but when there is no option rather than going for this State Bank of India.

There was no outstanding balance on me. However, in the month of January'09 there was not a single transaction, but the card statement dated 25th January a sum of Rs 49.41 is shown as outstanding against me and the same is to be paid before 14th February'2009. As I have cleared my outstanding I will not go to pay further.

                              I had used SBI credit card and paid within due date.At last the balance grew and made agreement and gave three postdated cks by 072007 and it was cleared. Later sbi starts sending bill adding interest, min amt and service charge, now they get my current job details from someway and forced to pay the balance of now otherwise collectionagent might call to my HR.                               I applied a SBI Credit card .My Application no was[protected].Yesterday I got a sms that my request has been declined due to non contactable by you despite lots of efforts.Whenever I received calls I confirmed this.

                              Still I am surprised to see this reason as I receive calls every day every hour and minute.

                              This is first time when I had applied a new card from SBI I was expecting good services from you as I have a saving account in SBI but right now I am feeling very disappointing as I was not satisfied with your lame/Fake excuse.

                              We have no listening.No body called me from your side. Sending a decline request sms to a customer is a kind of customer insult.Its means you are blaming customer instead you.
                              I strong agree with the complaints on SBI card. A simple example of mine may be useful to the readers. There was a cash back announced by SBI. I purchased something and converted it into 6 EMIs. I have to receive cash back of 1500/-. I am paying my EMI every month promptly. At the same time online I used to see the statement. During one month, Rs. 1500/- credited to my account. I have pay an EMI of Seven thousand and odd. After seeing 1500 credit, I paid 6500. Next month i received a call and asked to pay the EMI. I have explained the episode to them saying 1500 + 6500 is totaling to EMI even it is more. To my surprise, Cash back can not be added with EMI which they never told me. Over and above, I am charged around 60/- against insurance which I opposed. This happen during 2008 and still continuing today. I am planning to go to Ombudsman.

                              The nasty service I have ever come across.

                                      My written complaint dtd.01-10-07 to local branch Jaiprakash Nagar, Nagpur.

                                      During transaction on 28-09-07 through mobile ATM at my office, the receipt shows the message "SORRY UNABLE TO PROCESS". But when in subsequent transaction statement called it shows the same amont is withrawal. Thus the complaint made to the local branch in written but after expiry of one month, the branch officials were show their unability to do anything about the matter stating that the statement of the month of ATM is not show any correction. Kindly advise to whom the complaint made hereafter.

                                      there was a problem in withdrawal of money in the nagpur railway station atm.

                                      2 october evening 6.10 pm i was got into the atm for money withdrawal, i enterd password and money required(1500rs). i hav not recieved the money and its automatically come out of the transaction.

                                      i tried three times like that in the same time and then i went off.

                                      next day i check the mini statement .

                                      it shows that the money withdarwal of rupees 1500 on the same day.

                                      so, kindly do the necessary investigation and arrange to give my money back.

Thus the complaint made to the local branch in written but after expiry of 10 days, My transaction amount is Rs-2400.00 So pls i request to you to do the need full. on urgent bassis I urgently need my money.

                                        With the above subject herewith I have enclosed my CARD in cut pieces. I need no more your service any time at all. As such I have received the CARD after three months where the three months bill has come early to pay an amount. Please note that I don’t receive yet even ATM PIN till I am sending this letter. I felt much about this kind of irregular and irretatable services which wonted and made me psychological affect. Moreover you have no front office in Chennai to tell about our grievances and to rectify the problems. Also there are no such Representatives to have discussed about this in face to face.

                                        Please note that the following dates my queries were made by phone to help line. But there is no proper response and even didn’t tell their name also from other end.

And I am also admitted the hospital for my treatment & discharged yesterday only, in this situvation you are also irretating me, So kindly Revert this amount & send the fresh statement Immediately & Oblige.Infavt I am facing this issue only with SBI, if it continue in future i don't like to use your card.
