Sir,
I am bonafide account holder of SBI Meera Bagh Branch(saving /A/c No.[protected])When this branch startingATM service thenthey gave facility to their costomer for availing withdraw their money through ATM machine withouth charging extra money.Now I came to know through the entries made in passbook they charged 50/-ATM annual fee.On enquiry made by to the dealing clerk he said yes we are charging , then I told why don't get it in my knowledge prior debit this amout.I have come to know some other nationalize banks that they are not charging any amount forATM service.I also told him to show any official order issued by the Higher Authority of SBI. He has not satisfactory answer.The same matter was discuss with branch manager, he has not keeping any back and white order.
It is further stated that Rserve Bank Of India order to the all banks to honour all ATMcards not only one particular bank issue
but also ATMcards of other bank without any service charges as
well as annual fees.I request that all amount debit may be credited in my account with instructions. So that I can not happen infuture to the other customer.
Keepining in view of above my complaint necessary action should be taken and acknowldege to the undersinged.

    Dear Sir,

    I am a Holder of SBI card no. [protected] which has expired in June,07. I havenot been using his card for more than a Year now and was not receiving any statements. Out of the Blue On 3rd of November,2007 received a Statement showing some flexipay transaction with code IGN 06 and related late fee and administrative charges. Started writing to standard customer service email id feedback.[protected]@ge.com asking about details to what the Transaction was all about. Only reply i got was they kept on resending the account statements. Escalated the matter by writing to Head.[protected]@ge.com and after several mail exchanges came to know that they had charged some Royal Sundaram insurance charges on the account against this card which was supposed to have been levied after my consent. I clarified to the contrary and also argued that this is an expired card and i had received no intimation of the same. In the last mail they have stated that they have reversed the insurance charges but are unable to reverse the admin and late fee charges as as per their policy admin charges can be reversed if a consumer reverts back within a month. I have been writing to them for last 2 months and they themselves have taken 1 1/2 month to clarify what this IGN06 means. Have kept a record of all email exchanges with them. Please advise as to how can i take this matterup in consumer courts and can i be represented in absentia as i am currently travelling outside the country most of the time.

    I do feel cheated on this whole Issue and am very dissatisfied with responses received from the AVP Customer Service, Would like to know my legal standing on this issue as the outstanding charges are to the tune of 4000 INR and they would continue to levy Late fee charges.

    Credit Card No. [protected] is shown as invalid whenever i try to deposit dues Rs.132/- by ATM. It is requested that said card to be activated for further Transaction. The Credit Card has already been matured on 12.03.2012.
    Hence, you are requested that the matured amt. may please be deposited into my SBI A/C NO. [protected] and also suggested me for further action please.

      Without doing any transcations, frequent debits are observed in my account. Complaints made are not responded. Even requested for closure of card but noT responded. Attempting to rectify the debits for past two months but unsuccessful. Received statement again for December dt:[protected] where unauthorised debits are noticed. Having an SBI credit card is only foolishness. I suggest everyone Better not to respond to their marketing technics or else you will buy only problems with owning such SBI credit cards.

      HELP ME TO CLOSE THE CARD ACCOUNT URGENTLY. IF NOT RESPONDED, I WILL BE COMPELLED TO APPROACH COURT OF LAW.

        Two years back I was a member of sbi credit card.Later I have opted for cancellation,but you have renewed my card and send it to me.With in one week I was cut the card diagonally and dropped it in sbi bank credit card drop box.Later I received a call from your executive and I told him cancellation of credit card,Now I do not have your card and I am not using it.But your sending statement of default which may be a renewal amount by your computer generated bill.
        Please don't send any bill from now on words.

        Dear Sir,

        I have already destroyed the SBI Gold card and no more want to continue. I am still getting the bills only through my Email but hard copy coming by post has stopped. Kindly look into the matter and stop sending the bills through mail.
        Since I have lost the 10 digit number I am not able to open the emails.
        MY ACCOUNT IS DISCLAME FROM LONG AGO AND IN MY MONTHLY STATEMETN I YOU ARE CHARGE YEARLY FEE CHARGES RS.750/- AND PROTECTION PLUS INS. AND OTHER CHARGES . IF MY CARD IS NOT VAILED AND IT WAS DISCLAME FOR ONE YEAR AGO HOW YOY CAN CHARGES THIS AMOUNT.

        My credit card bearing no [protected] of SBI which I got free when i purchased Hero Honda-passion. I had requested to cancel this card around 2 years back and destroyed by cutting diagonally as advised, but still I'm getting the statement.

        Every year SBI card team charges annual fee pf Rs 750 but other credit card don't collect the same .

        My credit card no was [protected] of SBI. I bought Sony erricson W810i mobile phone and I paid the bill.Then, I cancelled the card and sent the broken pieces to SBI in 2007. But, I am receiving the bills still.

          THIS CARD SHOULD BE BEST AVOIDED,SINCE IT IS THE WORST WITH REGARD TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ,WHERE EVEN THE AVP IS NOT ABLE TO TAKE DECISIONS. THEY TEND TO RELY MORE ON THE FINE PRINT TO DENY THE CUSTOMER THE BENEFIT OF ANY CAMPAIGN & THEIR CONTESTS ARE WORTH AVOIDING [ THEY ALSO HAVE MANY HIDDEN CLAUSES ].THE MATTER EXTENDS FOR MONTHS TOGETHER RATHER THAN ANYTHING CONCRETE HAPPENING.THEY ARE THEMSELVES NOT SURE AS TO WHEN THINGS WILL GET RESOLVED FOR ANY PARTICULAR ISSUE.POINTS WISE ALSO FOR REDEMPTION THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST CARD.

          I had applied for the SBI card through SBI porur branch after showing certain fixed deposit. I applied it in the month of Sep 2010 and received the card only in January. Meanwhile I had received three statement regarding my due though I had not received the card.

          The problem is I could not use this card since the card is not activated. I had contacted the representative of SBI Porur branch and he had given a phone number of a person of SBI Card Cell, who will activate the card.

          When I contacted this person, he had given another phone number and I had contacted the person and they replyed me that they were not dealing with the card.

          Again I try to contact the first one and getting only dial tone but no answer.

          I request my fellow citizen to avoid this card. Looks like a cheating team sitting and working to cheat the customers.

            sir i am one customer in SBI bank for past two years in tuticorin @ tamilnadu (branch;tuticorin bazar (7629) st.patricks complex, 25,[protected]. my ac no;[protected] . i wish to invest in share market so i asked for cheque book for my account to the branch manager . he said that there is no cheque facility for saving account . then i ask him for a written statement he refused to give and he ask me to get out. i am mentally & physically depressed for this harsh behaviour of branch manager .

              I had subscribed for SIP in your fund “SBI Magnum Tax Gain-Dividend” though Mahindra finance with Folio num from 15th June 2007 with amount Rs 2000/- per month; for which I had given my ICICI account details for ECS. As going forward I had requested to change my ECS bank account to CITIBANK in August, and I have given a request letter for the change of account details to Mahindra. Thereafter I had received confirmation letter from SBI Chennai office saying the account num has been changed and henceforth the ECS will get debit from my CITIBANK account only and dividend will be sent to that account only, further ECS has to get debit from my CITIBANK account which has not happened till now from past 5 months.

              I have noticed that still ECS call is going to my old account details in September. This is result after regular telephonic follow up with Mahindra Finance and SBI office in Pune.

              So I have given a 2nd time request in October / November regarding the same for change of bank account details and I have got 2nd confirmation from the SBI People saying the account num has been changed and henceforth the ECS will get debit from my CITIBANK account only and dividend will be sent to that account only.

              Still I have noticed for month of December the money has not got debited from CITIBANK through ECS.
              Inspight of all this I have purchased all the NAV’s for 5 months through checks and in a higher price.

              In result of your discrepancy in service I had Financial and Mental losses. As if you had acted and served my request properly I must had hold more units against the units what has been allotted till date as amount was laying Idle in my Citibank account waiting for getting debited. I should get compensated for same considering your fault in the case.

              Can i know what shall i do in this type of issue, and i want to go as per law, and can i get confirmation that i will be getting compensation

              I have invested Rs. 20000 in SBI Magnum Taxgain in 4.12.07 under dividend payout option. On 15.02.08 company had declared 110% dividend but surprisingly i have not yet received the same.
              It is not yet credited to my account.

              Can i know how to link mutual funds to icicidirect...When i spoke to customer care, they told to bring NOC from the broker as well as the original documents.

              Is there any other way to link the mutual funds to demat. As this funds were taken 4 yrs back, i don't remember the broker and also contact number.

              I have invested 20, 000/- in Magnum TAx gain Fund-Dividend at applicable NAV 32.02. My Folio no. is 11820030. I have received massage from TM-CAMSeSMS in that it is mentioned it is successful.

              But till date I have not received statement for the same investment.
              I dont have hard copy of the statement as the SBI agent has said that, " you have reduced paper work."

                Sir,
                I am holding an account in SBI ,Hal branch ,Bangalore
                While i was withdrawing money from a btm layout ATM power went and 400 Rs was deducted from my account and i could not get any cash .
                so i launched a complain against this more than 10 times in SBI hall brach,SBI head office.
                I also submitted more than 3 applications and I personally met with the Manager and Concerned Transiction Holding team of the HAL branch.But Nothing happend From the date of Incident (15/07/2007).
                Now if i try to call the manager of this branch he says"Forget that money ....we cannot do anything for you"
                So please suggest me what to do???
                If we as a proffesionals working in Big firms of India are Cheated By this Core Indian Bank then how one can think of giving correct ness to normal people.

                This is not only true for Bank dealing and Internet banking which I have faced but also many services provided by SBI. Where ever I have gone I have seen pathetic condition of SBI. Its surprising to see that most of the branches of SBI do not have a “May I help you” counter. I have found most people working there are not only lazy, not user friendly and irritating. Its good thing to try, ask someone in SBI where do you get the form or just anything, their answer is, you won't get it here, rather then telling where can you get it. Its not my job (But wont tell you whose job is it), come later, you can't get forms now, come on Monday etc are their common excuses of not working. I was surperised a day when bank person told me that you will not get a passbook as there are no passbook in the bank, I think its the hight of ignorance and irresponcibility. I strongly believe that SBI should be privatized or at least semi-privatized, Which seems impossible due to the number of people working there. They wont let this happen and will go to any extent (self immolation, strikes etc.) to prevent this from happening, so that they don't have to work. Its high time govt. should do something to prevent the biggest bank in India from loosing its moral value. I am not very much hopeful in this regard as things are going as such since long. I have started dealing with SBI since 2002 as there are not many other options. Everywhere situation is the same. I havent been happy a single day going to SBI bank or ATM. This situation I have personally experienced at SBI bank branch Hebbal Karnataka, SBI bank HAU branch Haryana and now very recently SBI bank Delhi University branch where things are pethetic.

                sir, i am a citizen of gopalganj, bihar. i want to complian against the officials as-well-as the staffs of ADB branch gopalganj which is regulated under by SBI branch gopalganj, i wanted to open an account to this bank but its hard to get an account opening form after one week of regular going through the bank i got the a/c opening form through my contacts, i have to open a joint account so i and my father fill the form and submitted to the staff the account opened and i found only my fathers name is there the staff opened a single account of my father instead of ers account so i want a quick action against the employees. the staff of the bank are so rude, customer satisfaction should be priority but i dont think the staffs are doing. one more thing i would like to say the atm facility through my town is horrible there are more than 50 people are there in the queue its hard to get our money.                 I, Saroj Dhote, residing at Pathakhera, Dist.- Betul (MP). I hold account with SBI Pathakhera (Branch. Code-3957). I got admission in M. Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) in MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore through (PGCET) Post Graduate common entrance test Govt of Karnataka (Exam Seat No. 7BIVFES140) conducted by Vishweshvaraiya Technological University, Belgaume, karnataka.
                To continue my PG study, my mother Mrs. Kamala Dhote (employee of WCL Pathakhera) approached to SBI Pathakheda branch in the month of Feb-2008, but Mr. Khariya (manager) & Mr. Satish Mehta (manager PBD) didn't behave properly and asked to come again and again. After approaching almost every day repetedly after 15 days they gave the form and given the following statements;



                Few are the statement by the both Mr. Khariya (manager) & Mr. Satish Mehta (manager PBD) SBI Pathkhera given in front of my mother.

                * Do what ever you want we will not give you loan.
                * Why don't you go for personal loan.
                * That college is not recognized by government.
                * Come after two months.
                * Why you are wasting our time.
                * Give the complaint to higher authority.
                * I will not give you anything in written.
                * If you want to go to Bhopal, go and file the complaint.
                * I'll through your application in dustbin.
                * Where is 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th Marks cards.

                After getting this type of response from the bank person, I lodged the online complaint dated- 05/03/2008. Complaint ticket no. cc[protected]. But after nearly one month my complaint was rectified by the concern authority, I again lodged fresh complaint on Dated 26/03/2008 Complaint no. cc[protected]. and I also sent a complaint mail to [protected]@sbi.co.in & [protected]@sbi.co.in & dgm.[protected]@sbi.co.in.
                would like to ask the question to all responsible dignitaries of our country who represents our country, if these things happen with the girl candidate who wants to make the bright career and wants to serve the nation, than how the girls will come forward and contribute for betterment of mankind.

                I would like to request you all trough this mail that please take necessary action on this matter and please make such arrangement so I can get the loan and continue my study and also in future no one will give harrasement to the customer as we are your customer from years. Please take the action against Mr. Khariya (manager) & Mr. Satish Mehta (manager PBD) SBI Pathkhera for denying the facts, delaying the process and harassing the women customer.

                Hope I will get the justice from you and able to continue my further study.

                i filed the online account form. then i took a kit from bank manager. he says that acctivate online account through id and password which given in that kit.
                But when i try to activate the online account with that id and password it display that user id and passwd is invalied.

                Irresponsible behaviour of SBI, Ranikudar Branch, Jamshedpur
                Sir,
                I am holding an account in SBI, Bistupur, Jamshedpur Main Branch. On 21.06.2008 when I handover a cheque to the bank official of SBI Ranikudar Branch, Jamshedpur I have been replied by the Bank Manager that my account stands at Bistupur Main Branch Jamshedpur. So he refused to encash the cheque which was shwon by me to Bank Manager. When I told him about Rani Kudar Branch is connected with core banking system of SBI then why you are refusing to encash my cheque. Then he told me that he will provide service only account holders of his own branch. He suggested me that I should take payment of my cheque from SBI, Main branch, Bistupur, Jamshedpur. I may kindly be provided following information

                i) What is the fate of core banking in SBI as per above circumstances?
                ii) should I close my account from SBI for better services in other private bank?
                iii) What type of action is going to be initiated by your good offices' agaisnt erring official?

                One cheque book was dispatched by SBI through speed post on 05/09/2008. Postman try to delivered at my home but unfortunately nobody present at that time in my house. Then postman deliver one letter for collecting the same from DumDum Post Office after satisfying my identity. Today i.e. 09.09.2008 I went to above post office along with a photocopy of my PAN card for proving my identity. But concerned petty lady clerk named 'MIRA' refuced to deliver the same for want of original PAN card and misbehaved with me. I am a regular customer of the DumDum post office and I also maintain accounts with them.
                I request to the conserned Honorable minister of Communication to look after the matter and arrange for proper training for 'PARIVARTAN' of this type of reluctant attitude of the staffs of postal department.

                I am chunnu kumar choudhary holding an account no-[protected] in SBI, narayanguda branch, Hyderabad
                While i was withdrawing money from a Dollar colony ATM, 10000 Rs was deducted from my account and i could not get any cash .
                which txn no-2429, ATM ID-S1AN00904203 so i launched a complain against this more than 10 times in SBI narayanguda branch hyderabad, SBI head office(hyderabad)
                I also submitted more than 3 applications with the Transiction Holding team of the nayayanguda branch.But Nothing happend From the date of Incident (26/08/2008).
                Now if i try to call the manager of this branch he says again and again "i am doing on your job ...But he don, t do any thing

                I hold an NRI Account in SBI Bangalore Main Branch. The previous manager, Mr. Ramesh was amazingly helpful and would respond and let you know when the fund transfers were complete and whether you wanted to keep them in USD/INR. And, if you asked him over the phone for the current rates for FDs or USD-INR conversion, he was VERY prompt. It rarely took him more than 5 mins and if he promised to email, he would ALWAYS. I was so impressed with Mr. Ramesh, that I moved some of my other accounts to SBI Bangalore.

                Now, Mr. Ramesh is gone and in his place there is Mr. Ramesh Balan. Banks in India usually move managers around, so that's nothing to be surprised about I guess. But it's been 7 days since my persistent emails and phone calls and I haven't heard a word about my account or status and requests of conversion. I had to send my daughter all the way to make sure SBI everything was fine. The delay of 7 days was blamed on 1day of bank being on strike. And after 30 mins of waiting, Mr. Balan still kept on doodling on his computer over nothing. There were no customers waiting either. The question we had was very simple - what is the current USD/INR rate today and can you please convert the money. My daughter finally got frustrated and left w/o any information.

                I don't think I can deal with such careless service from SBI. Especially if I have to deal with foreign transactions. I realize it's a GOVERNMENT organization and people like Mr. Balan are used to being lazy - but he should just settle for a teller's position in that case. It'll be easier on him and his lazy working attitude and easier on the customers too.

                If any SBI Bangalore's manager is reading this, please get the old Mr. Ramesh back or get someone as charismatic and on-the-job and reliable like him. I am definitely moving my accounts to another bank - I don't think anyone has the time to deal with unprofessional bankers.

                This attitude of SBI -BRANCH MANAGER VIZAG NAVAL BASE BRANCH, IS HORRIBLE.
                He keeps telling my Parents retired pensior to come every alternate to the bank. The walk and travel all the way to bank located in Naval Base near Vizag. All those poor old people wanted was a Loan against their Pension.
                SHAME ON THIS STUPID INSENSIBLE - IMPOTENT MANAGER - WHO KEEPS SAYING STAFF IS NOT THEIR.
                WHAT THE HELL IS DOING ...HOW CAN RUN THE BANK WITHOUT STAFF. AT LEAST YOU NEED TO KEEP A BARE MINIMUM STAFF TO RUN THE BANK.

                And shamelessly he tells my parents please come day after tomorrow. My parent have gone 4 times in the 2nd week of OCT.

My mother draws a pension from the same branch as she is the widow of my father who the country for his lifetime.The pension has been revised by th goverment from 1996 & her pension has not been revised since then, even though she has been running to the bank for the records and the papers, the branch manager has refused to help.                 Unprofessiaonal Behaviour - SBI staff..

                I just thought to put this in an email and let you know how I have been treated in your bank. This is really upsets, when someone sitting on a front desk or a customer desk, behaves very unprofessionally.

                I have an account with SBI, at Personal Banking Branch, Bund Garden, Pune. And I would like to bring your attention and wanted to let you know, how your people treat people in a branch. I just can’t believe the kind of behavior and customer service tendered in your branch. When India is proud for this bank and SBI is taking a lead on banking sector, they are failing on basic factors. Even though, my account is in a personal banking branch, they do not care about us. The lady sitting on cash deposit counter just thrown my deposit slip as I have entered amount to be deposited of Rs.49, 000/- and asked me to re-enter it and go there and see the board for correct amount. I changed the form came back to same counter and she told me I can not take out station cash in this counter, when I asked ok, which counter I should go? She simply says, I do not know.

                Well, I thought let me deposit the money in my account and later I can do online. I went again and mistakenly I kept my hand on the glass partition, and suddenly she is saying keep your hand down. This is really a bizarre attitude of her and she can ask people politely or professionally.

                The way you are treating people, definitely people will avoid coming to your bank. And that too in a personal banking branch, where we are paying Rs.5000 as minimum deposit to get a good service but we have been treated unprofessionally. I will definitely close the account and will go to different bank altogether though but, I just thought to express my frustration and your internal staff’s attitude. This thing really makes us stop recommending SBI to anyone.

                There are thousands of people who may be facing this or treated unprofessionally, but I am not sure if you are getting the feedbacks or not. As a true customer, I would like to provide my feedback and will see if it is improving or not.

                We are Indians so obviuosly we should give first preference to our home National Bank.
                Everybody is saying about the poor service but i have faith with our National Banks because for some fool Peoples our National banks getting poored.

                (SUB: Since 3 month back Amount of 20000 /- got withdrawn automatically from the account due to SBI link failure, while making the transaction through ATM, but there is no response from SBI.)

                Respected Sir,

                Myself Sushreemala Sethi, the account holder of SBI, Indira Nagar Branch, Bangalore-Karnataka;
                I beg to state that, my ATM card is with my Mother, who resides at Balugaon, Dist-Khurdha, Orissa, Pin-752030.

                On Sept 4th '2008 at Balugaon branch ATM, in between 5:30pm-6pm, she made the transaction to withdraw Rs 200000(twenty Thousand Only), but at the same time the SBI link got failed, and the transaction was also failed; But Rs 20000 automatically debited from the Account.

                I visited my Indira Nagar Branch and explain the whole scenario and handed over my application, but the Bank Account people told me that, only Balugaon Branch can help me to get that money back as the ATM has been used there, then they forwarded my application to Balugaon Branch through post. I took the Xerox copy of the same application and faxed it to Balugaon. My Brother SindhuRaj Sethi handed over that application at SBI, Balugaon branch. Bank People replied that, they are waiting for some ATM transaction documents which will come from the head office of SBI. Through that they can trace it and will return that amount. Even there we got the duration from the Balugaon Branch people that, it will take another 1-2 week to get the clear picture .That means almost 3week will be taken to trace the scenario and another one week to credit the amount. All total one month will require getting back the amount.

                Again after 1month Balugaon officer confirmed us that only INDIRA NAGAR Branch will return our amount, and then they give us one letter and informed us to produce that letter to INDIRA NAGAR (Bangalore) Branch, when I produced that letter to INDIRA NAGAR Branch, they are replying that why BALUGAON Branch is playing with you, they are suppose to take this matter seriously and have to return the amount, as the transaction has been happened in their Branched ATM. Then again INDIRA NAGAR Branch send a letter to Balugaon branch and ensured us that now after getting this letter Balugaon Branch will return the amount. After 2-weeks of letter sent when my brother went to Balugaon branch and asked for the letter .Balugaon branch people are saying they have not got any letter.

                Balugaon branch have told that in there database there is no excess amount of 20000 is showing.
                Now I’m asking to all the SBI officers, then where that amount gone. Who is responsible to give this amount? Where this link failed money in SBI going.20000 is not a small amount, which a customer can easily forget; who is responsible to help me in this matter.

                This is almost touching to 3 Months and I don’t have any news about the money. I have already sent more than 12 mails, have visited branch more than 20 times; have given call to customer care more than 20 times ; but found that none of a single SBI employee is giving any proper attention to this case and not even have time to speak to the customer and try to resolve this case.

                In getting Twenty Thousand, i have already losted 2 to 3 Thousands in phone calls, mails, fax, speed post, transportation etc etc.

                This is really very much inconvenient treatment to the SBI Customers. Since SBI is one of the reputed and biggest bank of our country with maximum customer's, and if customers are relying on such a reputed bank, then bank should also provide as much as convenience to its customer in every aspects.

                Kindly accept my application, and take this case with high PRIORITY. Kindly suggest Balugoan Bank officers to send emergency letter asking about the ATM transaction documents from the head office of SBI, and investigate this matter as soon as possible, and credit my 20000 on my account. I need this amount very urgent. Sir I will be very much grateful, if you kindly take some necessity steps to help me in getting my money back.

I swiped my debit card for shopping(Rs.1400), but they have taken twice money from my account. i lodged 2 complaints and more than 5 times i consulted concerned officer in the RT Nagar branch.its been more than 3 months, till now i didn't got any response.

                Dear sir,

                I had deposited the Income Tax challan for clearing for Rs.45000/- dt. 15/12/08 in State Bank of India, Nehru Place Branch, New Delhi - 110019. I received the bank token no.12163 & challan collection date was mentioned on 22/12/08, but till date i did not get the challan. after dt. 22/12/08, I went to the bank 4-5 times but i did not get any response from them.

                While seaching the challan i was told by Mr. Deshmukh Das (clearning Incharge) that he does't have challan with him & was very rude with me. I had to see the chief branch Manager Mr. R.K. Arya who immediately called Mr. Deshmukh & was asked to search the challan. It was to my surprise that the said challan came out from Mr. Deshmukh's table. He was telling me you can go & register the complain against me if you can. He is threating to me. till now my Income Tax challan has not been sent for clearing. This is a share harrasment to the customer. Your intervention is immediately required.

                i want a quick action against Mr. Dashmukh Das the staff of the bank is so rude, customer satisfaction should be priority.

                I Went to SBI Guwahati Airport Branch, to Deposit Money to My Account and My Friends to, I wanted to Take 2 Tokens at the Time of Opening of Bank But The Person who Distribute the Token He Did Not Given Me 2 Token, & When I Went to Deposit the Money to Counter, that Person Did Not Accepted 2 Deposit at a Time From Me and Telling Me System Did Not Accept, But Whereas Two Days Before I Deposited in 3 Different A/c at a Time With Only Single Token, and Again I My Brother Request Him That Sir Please Accept Our Money and Deposit in our Account But The person Refuse to Take money, He accepted Some Other Person Money in Front of Me Without token, Same Problem Where Arise Some Day Before With Some Other People Where as IM Present at That Time and I Know That Person also, The Dirtiest Service of The National Bank Is SBI For Which people have to Waste their Full Day In Bank For Depositing & Withdrawing money and the Employees of SBI Guwahati Airport Branch Not Good With Their Customers That’s Why People are not willing to Open Accounts in SBI & Now a Days they are Moving to Private Bank, only Because of this kind of Service, If these Kind of Problem arise again with me I will go to Consumer forum and RBI.
                Hi everyone i have opened my ACCOUNT IN SBI on NOVEMBER28th 2008 and after one month 5days i got my ATM CARD finally..now from the2nd of this month am going to SBI GOVERNMNET GENERAL HOSPITAL everyday for the PINNUMBER they are saying it may take a month to get my PIN NUMBER...the most hilarious thing is there is another branch here in LAKSHMIPURAM in same GUNTUR..on the day of ACCOUNT opening itself they are giving DEBITCARD and PINNUMBER too..when i asked the GENERAL HOSPITAL BRANCH MANAGER about this..his expresiions said who the hell are u?cant i know whats happening around me?can i make call and prove you are wrong?i expressed ya u make a call..then he called and got reply saying that they have been doing it from 20 days...he ended the call and said..YOU WAIT FOR 1WEEK THEN I WILL TELL WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING...this is the pathetic situation in SBI branch GUNTUR GENERAL HOSPITAL...THE MANAGER OF THE BRANCH IS NOT AT ALL AWARE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE NERABY BRANCH 1KM.AWAY HOW SILLY...and i dont know how many more days they will take to give a PIN NUMBER to my card..am deeply in trouble as am a HouseSurgeon and i dont have time to stand in long queues with the PassBook in my hand...IS THIS what the so called SBI says BANKING AT ITS BEST AND CONSUMER FIRST ????plz think about it and tell me what to do?if i need to again open an account it costs me more than 600Rs.and again conflict in the branches saying this applicant already applied by that name...plz think about it and tell me what to do?

                This is Chittaranjan from Bnagalore holding an A/c of SBI form orissa.
                While i was withdrawing money of Rs 500 from Marathalli ATM shuddenly I got the response slip where there was no response code hence I check my balance, where Rs 500 has been deducted from my account and i could not get any cash .
                so i launched a complain against this in SBI Mrarathalli brach and Orissa branch as well.
                I also submitted more than 3 applications and I personally met with the Manager and Concerned Transiction Holding team of the Both branches. But No action has been taken from the date of Incident (23/12/2008).

                Its not about Rs 500.00. Its about the service which has given by the service provider (SBI).
                I hope that you take attence on my problem and resolve it as soon as possible.
                The tendency of the Govt. bank are like this only, that is way the customers are moving towards the private banks like ICICI, HDFC etc. because they are more reponsive give more attention to the customers. although there is much load in Govt. banks which is because they work in a hapazord manner they have not advanced them selves with technology. They are not customer frendilly too.

                SBI ATM CASH NOT ISSUE, BUT AMOUNT DEBITED IN MY ACCOUNT

                It was 19th of November'2008 at 9:30 A:M when I went to Jharkhand ATM Distt Chatra to withdraw an amount of Rs. 17, 000/- from my SBI ATM. In spite of applying the whole process of withdrawing the money from ATM i was not been able to get the amount from there. But the most strange thing happened with me is that the same amount was debited from my account. I at once informed the local SBI Branch and at Rithala, Delhi Branch (My A/c's Branch) and also filed an application against that for which i have been told to wait for 4 days but after that also i have not got any response from SBI people. Now after more than one month we are still standing on the same place. I 'm continuously getting the false excuses from the SBI people.

                You are requested to kindly consider this matter and give me a feedback at the earliest.

                Kindly help to credit the amount as earliest.

                SBI HAL Branch — Unable to give money back

                My name is Anil Kumar. I went to SBM ATM near Kalyani motors, Bannergatta road. I entered 4800 as my amount to draw, but it showed timedout try again. Then I tried again and entered the same amount. Then I got the same message. But I did not get the money. But that Rs.9600/- is deducted from my account. Now I asked the customer care executive regarding this. He said they will return the money witin 24 hours, but now he is saying I need fill a form and submit it in HAL Branch. I am staying far from HAL branch. How can I go? And I will be busy on week days. Customer care executive gave me one number I tried that number but it is saying "invalid number".

                Please ask them to return my money.

                Sir, Mr. Gupta of Cari Branch alongwith some of the employees do take bribe for sanctioning the personnal of loan and misbehaves with the customers. Even today while he was not here Mr. Sharma who does insurance asks the people to insure amounting to Rs. 24000 per lakh approx otherwise the loan would not be sanctioned. Today on 6th March while Mr. Gupta is not here they are not giving the loans and many people returned back.                 My name is Anil Kumar Upadhyay. I have a personal loan account no. [protected] having its EMIs for Rs.2, 696/- per month. The reason for being aggrieved with the poor and irresponsible services of your SBI Mandhana Branch, is that no regular debit from my salary account is made for every month to recover the said EMIs but whenever the branch manager awakes about recovery of EMIs, he randomly debits more than one EMI in a month. For example :-
                1. On 1st of February, 2008 four EMIs worth Rs.10, 784/- was debited from my salary account.
                2. In FY 2008-09 (exact date is not confirmed due to non availability of record) a sum of 10, 784/- (for
                4 instalments also debited from my salary account even after depositing Rs.10, 000/- by me on my
                personal effort in SBI Main Branch Kanpur in this loan account just one day before the debit of this
                transaction.
                3. On 27th of February, 2009 and 28th February, 2009, two transactions took place from my salary
                account no. [protected] for Rs.5000/- each (total sum of Rs.10, 000/-) from my salary credited on
                27th of Feb, 2009. It is astonishing that the EMIs are worth Rs.2696/- but how a sum in round figure
                for Rs.10, 000/- was debited and under what circumstances this transaction took place?
                4. No date is fixed for debit of EMI from my salary account. Some times it becomes 5th, 11th, 13th,
                27th, 28th etc. of the months. No proper arrangement is managed by the Branch Manager to send the
                TRACK RECORD of my loan account status. Hardly for a single time I have been informed about my
                loan record during the period of more than two years.
                5. Is there any regulation in Banking Regulation Act for personal loans about the debit of more than one
                EMI in a month? Is the branch manager capable to deduct a huge part of my salay without my prior
                consent? Is the person deducting the sum from my salary as said above, sought the directions from
                Higher Authorities of SBI to do so? Why the person deducting a part of more than 75% of my salary,
                not thought how I will manage to look after my family for whole the month? Why the person deducting
                the salary did not consider about the financial crisis raised before me?
                6. What is my track record? Why I am not being aware of it monthly / bi monthly/ quarterly.

                I request you sir, that I intend to be informed about the informations asked as above in the light of RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT, 2005. The required fee for Rs.10/- only may be debited from my salary account as mentioned above. This information is liable to be submitted before the Learned Banking Lokpal, Reserve Bank of India, Kanpur also.

                Please do the needful and oblige. An early effort in this regard may highly be appreciated.

                I had a horrible experience with the personal banking manager and also the branch manager. I went for an educational loan to University of Toronto for my research. He told me currently the bank has its audits going on and that I should return later. When I asked him when he said I cannot tell you the exact date. When I went 15 days later, he told me point blank that we will not process any loan application or do any work for that matter till the time the elections are not over. SBI should teach them some manners and ethics before presenting these managers to the world. Sick people who are just sitting and getting fat.

                State Bank of India — Harrassment to Customers

                State Bank of India (SBI) has a branch in Barida, Ganjam District in Orissa. The Branch Manager (Mr. Sumitranandan Mahapatra) has been harassing and misbehaving customers especially illiterate and women customers. This is only bank in that region, so they are monopoly in nature. Unaware people also tolerate all kind misbehaviour to get services.

                1) He is making people to come at least four/five times to open a saving account with showing several reasons after producing one photo ID, address proof, still he is asking so many documents. Many people have never gone to school, how will they get Birth Certificate?
                2) The officials denied woman customer not to visit the branch as their own property (as she complained against their misbehaviour).
                3) One customer (illiterate) wanted a cheque book from bank. The Manager denied as there is no provision. But we asked just give us a letter mentioning the said reason, so the cheque book can't be issued. He shouted us.
                4) Another customer was nominee of his father for a Fixed Deposit in that branch, which got maturity on 2007. He produced all documents - Death Certificate, Opened an Account, Voter Identity Card. But still they are not clearing it as the customer is not ready to give any bribe.
                I have registered a complain in Customer Care, SBI. I have not received any message so far. Such arrogant government officials should be given proper punishment as they forget that they are there to serve the customers.

                Sub: Regarding Home loan grievance and callousness of service.

                I am a SBI customer (Acct Num: [protected]) who has opted for the SBI home loan max gain offer. I possess an account with SBI thane- Pokhran Road Branch.

                I submitted all my papers for disbursement and handed a cheque for Advocate clearance report on 17th June 2009.
                The formalities were thereby completed after follow-ups and the file, as I am made to understand has been sent to centralized Naupada branch for disbursement formalities as on 24th June 09.

                However, when I call upon the branch officials for a follow-up, they give me vague answers on future course of action.
                Moreover, I have not received any acknowledgement e.g file no/contact person etc to proceed further. I get responses that I do not need any such details and I shall not be in a position to get/track any status for another two weeks. Furthermore when I call the Naupada branch, by helping myself with the numbers published on the internet, I get no response. The line is continuously busy, goes into a fax tone or I am made to call some other extension, which never lands into a response. It has been a week and I am clueless about the progress, leaving me disturbed on this kind of treatment.

                This kind of service is contrary to what is stated on the site- (Loan sanctioned within 6 days of submission of required documents.

                The bank manager blatantly states that no enquiry will be entertained for 3 weeks totally, after which they shall start looking at processing the documents. Reason being backlog?!/Sluggishness. Can I please strongly urge you to help us on this, and ensure we keep the trust of the customers?

                Now it has been 10 working days and no one entertains or has any clue around timeframes/further processing. If you press them too much the manager states it will take another one month.

                I m a MNC salaried employee of Carlsberg India Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon and posted at Jodhpur HQ since 2008 july. I had applied for a car loan for rs 314000 on 4.7.2009 at ur jodhpur high court branch. I had submitted all the required documents (address proof, salary slip, last two years Income tax returns, photo, last six months bank statement etc) on that day.I got confirmation on phone for eligibility from the bank & suddenly today on 29.7.2009 I have been told from the bank that it will take 25 days more to pass your loan as your documents will be sent to ur gurgaon office for your salary verification wherein I have already submitted my salary slip in which Income tax is deducted and also the company's address is provided. I want to know why there is a delay of 25 days to verify & what the bank wants to verify from gurgaon when every thing is there in 16No form, salary slip and my appointment letter. Sir, there is a very delay in simple loan sanction of Rs314000/, ie in total I have to wait for 60 days approx for this loan.
                Sorry, I had taken my file back and applied it from another private bank, due to mis-handling the customer. They are working as uneducated people and just not want to work properly for the sake of Bank. If they want to relax then why should you are going with advertisement of Loans of lowest rates. Just relax & please dont waste the time of customer.

                  Dear Sir

                  I have to state that I had been having strong faith in business ethics , social responsibility , secrecy and procedural compliance of your bank, as my experience with your bank in last six years, however incidence which occurred with me on 14.12.2007 has broken my confidence and question mark on your business ethics. We request you to go through the below paragraph whereas whole incidence is described and correct your procedures for better interest of consumer and society.

                  I was issued SBI TATA credit card ( Card No [protected] , Name Inamul Haque ) year back, which I kept with me to use under emergency when I run shot of fund hence forth not used at all. On 14.12.07 two executive with proper ID card of SBI visited my residence and told me

                  I ) You are a SBI TATA credit card holder and you have not used the card for last. Card is not issued to keep is unused.

                  2 ) As per our bank instruction , You are required to surrender the card, and We have come from SBI to collect the card.

                  Since the executives were polished and knowing the confidential information that is card not used so far, and were aware about the my address , and that they were having ID card of SBI Bank, it could make sense to believe that they are really doing their work and they have come from bank, as such I have handed over the seal pack of Credit Card to them.
                  As a preliminary measure I asked them to give receiving on a piece of plane paper which they agreed to do ( Attached )

                  I was sure enough about the credibility of executives hence did not find it important to intimate telephonically to customer care. However on 17.12.2007 I was in visit to SBI Bank , Main Branch, Bistupur where I enquired about this Not In Use Card Collection from residence, I was surprised with the attitude of staff, Nobody at all took my version seriously and nobody liked to answer anything about this. Then I got restless and my inner faith started doubting about the credibility of Card Collecting Executives. I called SBI Helpline No. 50008000 and I was updated that

                  1) There is purchase of 50000/- from Sri Jagdamba Store Jamshedpur on 16.12.2007
                  2) There is withdrawal of 20,000/- on 15.12.007
                  3) Some other purchases costing around 5,000/-


                  Above shocking news is broken my confidence and I cheated by so called disguised executives, virtually they made use of my card.

                  Innocent people like me is bound to be cheated as there is no security measure by bank. We line in clean and civilized colony of Jamshedpur where cheating and theft is uncommon .

                  Your bank is also partly responsible, as there is no security measure taken , had it not been the responsibility of bank

                  1. To give the verification/ confirmation call at the time of purchase to card holder when a transaction more than 20,000/- happens. Or other such control which bank like HDFC does. However SBI does not do so ,this was confirmed from your customer care,Gurgaon.
                  2. To send SMS to card holder when transaction occurs on card.

                  3. To take special security measure on card dormant/not in use for longer period like

                  one year.

                  4. To ensure secrecy of information regarding credit card and card holder. As how a person got confidential information regarding my card that it was not used for one year, the information which he used to win my confidence. Definitely it was leaked out from one or other channel of bank.

                  5.There must be check point if card not using since 1 year and suddenly using it maximum limit and over limit .

                  All banks dealing with credit card are able to ensure above security and protect their customers, this was expected from Big Corporate Like SBI as well, surely in greater interest of consumer and society, you need to introspect your system otherwise more such cases will happen.

                  I have contacted personally the local police station and wanted their help in this matter, police is very much ready to catch the cheater if

                  1. Photograph of cheater is provided – you may kindly arrange downloading photo from ATM from where person withdrew the money. This must be traced .
                  2. Complete address of Sri Jagdamba , Jamshedpur ( Shop) where cheater made puchase of 48,000/- so that something can be traced.



                  Besides above two information, I wish to hear from bank what action has been taken by bank to improve the information security system point wise so that SBI TATA card holders are secured and free from such risk.

                  I also expect sharing of loss caused due to inappropriate security system for which bank is liable.

                  With an opinion that SBI is customer driven bank & believes in feedback and improvement made in greater interest of customer and society.

                  I am regularly paying the bills of card.However in month of march'09 I didn't recied the statement .In previous months it is getting on reggular basis.In 1st week of April'09 I recievd call regaring the putting cheque.According I have deposited a cheque of Rs 2500.00, which subsequemtly debited from my accont.Then I recievd statement for month of apr'09 in which fine of Rs 700 is reflected.For which I am not agree.

                    I am O.SUBRAMANYAM about ten months back one of your representative insisted me to take the credit card, I also had a good faith on SBI bank .Being with that reason I had chosen to take your SBI Credit card.
                    But according to my knowledge I need a PIN to operate this credit card, but till date I have not received any PIN from your concern yet and I am not using your SBI credit card.
                    In the September month I have received a message on my cell phone containing that I have to pay Rs.3,629.35. For the Insurance done at SBI Insurance. I rejected the insurance and intimated so many times to your irresponsible customer care executives. and Wrote a letter (Before due date) regarding insurance rejection and dropped the letter in your SBI Credit card payments dropping box at TIRUPATI …………… so many times and so many letters are sent to your bank. But there is no response. I wrote the letters to Delhi, and Chennai and send it through Courier also regarding this matter.
                    With this mental tension On[protected] I have met with an accident and I was admitted in the Remidy hospital - Tirupati for treatment since three months. My hospital expenses is Rs.10,000/- above. (I have the evidence also) (Since three months I am not getting my salary also and I have barrowed from Vasavi silks – Tirupati Rs.25, 000/- above for my treatment and other exp.)
                    So I am unable to communicate with you regarding this matter. So many
                    times I have Informed to your customer care[protected] But there is no response.
                    But I am receiving so many messages like “your outstanding is with interest and penalty Rs.5,255-06.”
                    I am unable to pay the total amount, Please cancel my credit card and send me one letter without balance immediately. Other wise I will give a police complaint or I will give a layer notice on your bank people and give this matter to press also.

                    I am also facing problem from SBI Bank
                    We are also facing the same problems. We had cleared all dues but today suddenly after six months SBI people call up to say that we owe them 3200. We never got any statement from six months (at home or on email). Few months back the customer care people apologised for the wrong over due of 3200 and the case was over . Today sudfdenly they say that we owe them money.

                    there is total mismanagement. the agents R VERY rude AND NOT fFIT TO BE A CUSTOMER CARE REP. tHEY NEED MORE TRAINING.

                    SBI needs to check its records. thee service is pathetic. It is loosing its customers this way. Please do not harass us. Find some other ways to extract money from customers.

                    I have not been able to make the payment of my monthly dues of above said sbi card of last month i.e. April, 2013 due to want o[censored]pto date multicity check and also due to over busy with my Departmental assignment.
                    An amount of Rs.88165.84 (Rupees Eighty eight thousand one hundred sixty five and paise eighty four has been paid through ecs from my sbi sb a/c no.[protected] agaist the sbi card number containing last four digit 7187 on date 07/05/2013 which is neither my primary card number nor my additional card number and also not even the account number of my sbi card. Thus, amount in my account has been nulified in stead of making payment for minimum monthly due; which is regretted.
                    In this connection, I would like to bring to your kind information that I am not a defaulter and I could not make payment against the minimum monthly due of April, 2013 under the circumstances described above.
                    Hence, I would like to request your good self to cancel the above said payment of Rs.88165.84 (Rupees Eighty eight thousand one hundred sixty five and paise eighty four has been paid through ecs from my sbi sb a/c no.[protected] and credit back to my account number [protected] so that I would be able to make payment against my monthly due of April, 2013 as per my capability.

                      My SBI education loan documents were missed ,when they were coming from my home state rajasthan to bhubaneswar through speed post (speed post no.-SPEE[protected]N). They were sent by SBI,bahror,rajasthan to RACPC,SBI,bhubaneswar .But after one month of its dispatch i cold not get it and when i searched in head office of postoffice,bhubaneswar,i found only wrepper of my letter,it did not contain any documents.

                        i have a card where in there is a debit for royal sundaram insurance without my confirmation. again on my request the same debit was cancelled and credit was provided.
                        however, during thisdebit my credit limit was exceeded because of excess debit made by the bank itself, which is not my fault atall.
                        but the bank has debited rs.561.80np as the charges for exceeding the credit limit, where as this is done without my consent by the bank, how can i be penalised and made debit to my card account by the bank.
                        thats why am sending the balance amount after deducting the excess limit debit charges that were debited by the bank to my card account, so as to keep the account uptodate.

                          I paid all my dues to SBI. But till date they have not reactivate my credit card. Nobody pickup the phone calls. Before paying my dues I use to talk with Ms. Mehek Sharma her contact nos. was [protected]. I called up on last month she said she was on leave for 8 days and after resuming she only handal my pending issue.                             I have SBI Card - GE gold Credit Card. In the month of Sept-07 the company representative gave me an offer of personal loan with the condition that along with my monthly credit card statement I can pay more than the EMI of my loan. I checked with the representative twice and thrice and on confirmation i availed the loan. Now I wanted to pay the bill and had some more fund available so i checked with the credit card company about the transaction. The shocking answer which i received was i cannot pay more than the EMI amount and if i have to pay more than i have to pay at one go including the foreclosure charges.
                            I had requested them to reduce my EMI from 48 months to 10 -12 months as do not want any burden to pay for such a long tenure.

                            But I am getting the generic email that you loan is for 48 months and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

                            I have written to the bank about unethical way of doing business and cheating the customer. I am writing to consumer forum only to safeguard other people. The other reason of writing is to communicate how GE and SBI doing the business and making money.

                            I am not sure whether I will get justice, but as citizen I thought other people should be sounded and made cautious about the new way getting cheated from bank and credit card companies.

                            SBI Credit Card — Another way of cheating the customers

                            I got a call around 21st -25 sept from the call center of SBI Credit cards telling that i have been selected for their privilege customer offer and within 25 days of the confirmation of the talk they wiil send you privilege offer pack containing 2 wrist watch and offer for staying in any hotel in India as well as abroad.

                            It is matter of regret that in spite of receiving any official offer pack from the bank, i am receiving calls from the call centre/ recovery agent for payment of RS.6900.00 odd which SBI Credit cards has debited to my card account on 25/09/08 itself. I denied the payment to various callers.

                            Please forward this mail to top gun of the bank and let me know ? is this the way of functioning most trusted bank of the country or centre to earn profits/ fefw bucks from the innocent citizens of the country. I would like to see what action is taken against the erring persons/ officials of the bank. May any national agency look in to such complaints and how much profits have been earned un-ethically from the citizens of the country. Is this their slogan means'' pure banking and nothing else "

                              STATE BANK OF INDIA CARDS & PAYMENTS SERVICES PVT LTD, GURGAON IS PLAYING GAMES WITH THE CREDIT CARD HOLDERS. THEY ARE NEITHER SENDING THE STATEMENTS IN DETAIL NOR DESPATCHING THE STATEMENT IN TIME.
                              DURING THE FIRST/SECOND WEEK OF DEC, 2007, ONE CHEQUE WAS ISSUED FOR RS. 5850/-DRAWN ON ICICI BANK, POWAI BRANCH, MUMBAI, DRAWN BY MY WIFE MRS. MOHAMMAD ZAINAB, WHICH WAS LATER ON DEBITED TO THE A/C.
                              TODAY, I.E., ON 22.12.2007, I HAVE RECEIVED ONE STATEMENT DATED 06.12.2007 THAT THE TOTAL OUTSTANDING AMOUNT DUE IS RS. 5906/-. THE STATEMENT IS DATED 06.12.2007 AND IT TOOK THEM TO ARRANGE FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE STATEMENT 17 DAYS I.E., FROM 06.12.2007 TO 22.12.2007 FROM GURGAON TO MUMBAI.
                              THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING THE STATEMENT IN DETAIL.
                              IN THE LAST WEEK OF NOV, 2007, THEY HAVE CALLED ME OVER MY MOBILE AND INFORMED ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY RS. 5800/-
                              (OUTSTANDING BALANCE), BUT ON MY INFORMING THEM THAT I WANT TO SURRENDER THE CREDIT CARD AND CANCEL THE SAME, THEY WERE DEMANDING RS. 5850/- I.E., THEY HAVE INCREASED THE AMOUNT BY RS. 50/-.
                              I AM SURPRISED, WHY THE SBI CREDIT CARD PEOPLE ARE DECEIVING THE PUBLIC IN THIS MANNER.
                              EVEN ONE OF MY COLLEAGUES WAS COMPLAINING REGARDING THE MISCHIEF BEING PLAYED BY THEM. MOST OF THE SBI CUSTOMERS MAY BE FACING THE SAME PROBLEM.
                              I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND TAKE THE MATTER TO THE HIGHER OFFICIALS CONCERNED, SO THAT NOT EVEN A SINGLE PERSON SHALL BE DECEIVED BY ANY THE ENTIRE CREDITI CARD CUSTOMERS.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I had surrendered my credit card way back in 2003 and specifically requested for not renewal of fees. Although the card was surrendered before the due-date, my account is still not closed by SBI Credit Card. Moreover, SBI has shared the date to CIBIL which is creating lot of inconvenience on my credit rating.
                                There was no transaction done on this care after surrendering the card. I request you to please intervene and delete my name from CIBIL.

                                  I amit nagarkar using SBI card for last 8 to 10 months and i always make payments in time to them but these guys are always called from Delhi and talking very rudely. its not the way to treat with any one. first they call on customers no stating that they will send the person to collect the cheque and no charges will taken for this. if you drop your cheque in drop box it will get misplaced so don't drop and give it to our man who will came to your door for pick up.
                                  when i received my statement i have seen they charge me cheque pickup charges i called on customer care for this issue then they revert me that there is charges for cheque pick up.

                                    With lots of grievances against SBI credit card ,I beg to state you that I have issued the SBI CREDIT CARD in 2007 .Since then abnormal billing was done I paid the entire amount,I closed the transaction with the credit card in 2009 after paying full & final settlement.Now I am taking housing loan from LIC housing finance.But out o[censored]tter dismay it is showing from credit card bureau that I have a pending sum of Rs 7000 .

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      Some time ago one of the SBI credit card executive called up and offered free credit card for life time. Since it is free I opted it. After a month i received a card with pin. It was unused for few months since i need to go for out of station. Once I back, saw couple of SBI credit card statements claiming that i need to pay around 7K which includes Annual charge ( is it free !!). I really SHOCKED. I've not even used the card they asking me to pay 7K. I called up customer care and informed the same. Again I SHOCKED by his reply, YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE DOCUMENT CAREFULLY.
                                      Now they harassing me by calling every day and asked me to come to the bank else i would get notice from the bank.
                                      Now only one option is to go to the bank and get clarified.

                                      Dear Sirs,

                                      It is to inform you that I had applied for an SBI Credit Cards way back in 2002-03 when some agents approached me for the purpose. SBI Card people claim that they despatched the SBI Credit Card to me but till date I did not receive any card neither I know if any body around my neighbours might have received any such card. SBI Cardstarted levying charges/fee for sending me an SBI Card which actually I never received. As such there is no question o[censored]sing such SBI Card at all.

                                      Sir/s, I am literally shocked to learn that there is an outstanding amount of Rs. 700/- against me for SBI Card which I never received. This fact came to my knowledge when recently I applied for SBI Car Loan but I am told that there is an adverse credit report about non-payment of Rs. 700/- against SBI Card. I am being penalised for no fault of mine. This is highlyunreasonable and unjustified. I have talked to Toll Free No.[protected] and I am told that in 15 days' time I would get a report showing nil balance.

                                      It needs to be pointed out that for no fault of mine my car loan case with SBI is stuck up. I am even prepaed to pay this amount of Rs. 700/- so that my car loan case is cleared but how and whom to pay? I don't know even the card number!!!

                                      I, therefore, earnestly call upon you to rectify your record and send me an NOC at the earliest. I shall be thankful to you for the same.
