I have been using the SBI Credit card since last one year and was paying the amount due till Nov,07. In the month of Sept'07, I lost my job and was jobless for 3 months in continuation. During this period my payments got delayed and my cheque also bounced. I explained my position to your agents and explained them that I will clear the due as early as possible. Now I have joined a new company and went to the collection office and told them that as soon as I receive my first salary, I will start making payments. Your agents have now started harassing and abusing me and my family in the locality I live. They have said that they will use all means including goondagardi and lifting me from my house or will take away my household goods if I do not make payment this month. My wife is under severe depression as she feels that your goons may harass me physically. I have clearly explained them that I will start making payments from Feb'08 onwards but they are now sending goonda elements to my house for recovery. The name of those persons are Dharmendra, Raju and few others.
I am not an intentional defaulter and intend to pay the dues. Since I was jobless for more than three months I was in a severe financial crises.
I request the bank to stop these poeple from using unlawful means against me and my family. I promise that I will start making payments from Feb'08 onwards.

SBI Credit Card — Credit Card Payment Collection

SBI Credit Card have hired most Goondas to collect outstanding Credit Card amount , they come to your house and abuse you and also keep waiting below the building to catch and trash you. This is extremely illegal and we have complained to Police.

I request all of you to stop using your card to face such difficulties. If somebody can help me , please tell us how to deal with them

      I have using this tata credit card from the last two month back today on 26 january 2008 at 4:30 pm somebody picked my pocket in which the same credit card was there after lodged my complaint in customer care and police station too somebody missused my card and the customer care executive said that sir"you have to pay the whole amount whether somebody else use it for that we are not responsible"Why i pay the amont which i did not use they can check my sgnature at the invoice of the misusing amont if it is not match so why i will pay the same.kindly do something for my help

        On approaching the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Ruadrpur Branch, PO Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar for sanctioning OD limit he asks for 1% of temporary OD limit as bribe and on giving the bribe through his middleman OD limit for any amount say Rs.50 lacs, 1 crore etc. is sanctioned and if no bribe is proposed, the borrower is told that your proposal for OD limit will be sent to Regional Office, Haldwani for sanction and will take 2-3 months. This Branch Manager's total attention is for minting money through bribe and he is not concerned about proper functioning of branch and those employees who are not happy with his such functioning, he arranges for complaints against such employees through his goonda gang some of those are posted in BHEL. Such type of two complaints are at present lying at the Branch. Please investigate through some RBI officials. The branch manager says he needs money for purchasing his house.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          This is with reference to the SBI card number: [protected]. I am writing about the issues I have faced while dealing with customer care that have led to inconvenience at my end:

          Issue 1

          - My birthdate was recorded wrongly by SBI Cards. When I called customer care I was given a fax number to fax an application and my proof of DOB. I did so and the receipt was confirmed by the representative.

          - When I called after a few days they said that the DOB change is 'under progress'

          - when I called again, they said they have not received any documents from me (sounds a bit contradictory to me) and till date the DOB remains the same

          Issue 2

          - there was an "optional" insurance given to me without asking me

          - again I had to call customer care to get it cancelled, but they said I just need to pay a small amount every month so I decided to keep it. There are 3 heads under which the insurance amount is charged, the rep told me those were one time charges, and I just need to pay a premium every month

          - since then, every month I kept on getting all the three heads the amount being far more than what the rep had said I will have to pay

          Issue 3

          - I got several calls from one rep just because I mentioned that I might go for balance transfer and he convinced me to do so after telling me that only around 200 rupees would be charged initially

          - for last month's payment, a day before the due date I get a call that I have not made the payment and that SBI will send their rep to collect the payment and there would be no late fee. I propose to make an online payment and I am asked not to do so but wait for the rep

          - I make the payment to the rep

          - I get the bill for this month with 'late payment charges' and also some 'finance charges' which the rep says that are because I made a partial payment (but that is what the other rep told me to do !!!) and as he cannot revert's my charges he cancels my card

          Although it is a long mail that I have written, it is not because I have loads of free time but because of my belief that SBI can do better than this.

          If you can follow-up this matter that would be extremely kind of you.

            Dear Sir,

            i am having a account with credit card No.[protected] its given by you as a life time free credit card but after one year you charged me a annual fee for the new card. before sending a new credit card u have to confirm with me but you have not confirmed. against this i had already launch the complaint on your toll free no.[protected] complaint no.[protected] spoken with Mr.palam on Dated : 23/01/2008 at 2.44 pm and he is not ready to reverse the annual fee for the new credit card. if you had given me a life time free credit card than how can u charged me. for this reason i have blocked my card.

            please do the needful for me.

              Hi Sir,

              I have one SBI VISA GOLD credit card. Intitally they have offered me some insurance cover along with this card and i have declined it at that moment only , but they are regularly deducting the premium on my card after most of the complains i file in their customer care centre.I have also blocked my card few months back and still tey are sending me the notice and phone calls of outstanding payment of that premium. I am fedup with this please do something.

                Hi All,

                This is not a problem with Vodafone. Only its access point has changed. Neither SBI nor the vodafone knows it perfectly. The current access point for SMS seems to be 147 instead of the old 140.

                  Application was taken from me regarding giving SBI Platinum Card, along with all necessary documents on 17th December 2007. I received a confirmation call, to verify my details. Subsequently, 3 weeks later, I received a letter signed by Nirupam Sahay, Vice President-Marketing that currently they will not consider my application for issuing the card.

                  This is pretty disgusting ! If this was the case, why did I receive the verification call ? Also GE personnel who collected my application repeatedly kept me telling that the Card is ready, and is lying in Gurgaon, and will be delivered to me shortly.

                  Now, the RSM of GE (Pune division), Kapil Khanna is telling me that they have nothing to do in this. He even told me that the card will not be issued to me, and dared me to do whatever i can do.

                  An organisation like SBI is not expected of this service ! And if people like Kapil Khanna is hired by GE to offer SBI Credit Cards, then its a shame on GE as a whole, and SBI in particular.

                    Respected sir,
                    I am Harish Kumar. I have account in state bank of india in Najafgarh, New Delhi branch.I am totally dis-satisfied with the service provide by najafgarh branch.They (staff members) use abusive language with the consumers.Even before lunch time viz is scheduled at 2.00 pm to 2.30 pm here they go for lunch at 1 pm only.When i told them to do their duty properly they shout at me and tear off my letter(for the NTPC JOB APPLICATION).When i went to complaint for this to the manager the manager was not there he might be not in the office and after then when i reached the deputy-manager R k duhdwal for complaint book he refused to give me the complaint book and used abusive language against me and they(PS MEHRA-ONE OF THE EMPLOYEE AND DUDHWAL) said TUJHE JO UKAHDNA HAI HUMARA UKAHDE LE HUM TERA KAAM NAHI KARENGE OR NA HE COMPLAINT BOOK DENGE.
                    Sir now it is up to you for your bank reputation.

                    I have a savings A/C at Chatterjeehat Branch of SBI.On 14th Feb 2013 I visited the branch to apply for Net banking Facility of SBI.The staff gave me the form and filled the form and deposited it. The staff said that I will get my kit in 1 /2 days.Next after five(5) days on 19/02/2013, I visited the bank branch to collect my kit,to my surprise they told me that the form has not reached the branch manager's table to process it.The Manager advise me to fill a new form.I did so hoping that I will get the kit in two days.Then after six days on 25/02/2013 I went again and this time they said that because I have not given my Mobile no. at the time of opening my A/C my net banking kit is not ready,However I mention my Mobile no. and Email ID at the time of filling the net banking form.As advised by them I Gave my mobile no. through an application on 25/02/2013.Finally today (28/02/2013) I visited again and they told me that there is no "Second ID" given by me which I don't know what is it.They want me to give my address proof.As my actual address is printed on my passbook they want more proof .Frustrated I returned back to home after withdrawing my form.I lost hope to get proper service from SBI Chatterjeehat Branch Code(12459).They have no time to advise the customers properly on phone also.I have abandoned the planning to use my SBI A/C through Net Banking.

                      I intented to send $100 to india to my brother. So i choose SBI express remitt,and registered online in the site.Unfortunately i mentioned my brothers account name wrong in the sbi website.They cut the amount from my US account and displayed transaction approved. The money niether retuned to US nor remitted in india. I have made several calls and put 100's of emails about money since i was in great need of it.But they dint reply and even they dint treat me well(unattended towards customer).

                      Its been a long time (12months). I have luanched a complaint on banking ombuddsman in reserve bank of india to sue the SBI. my brother faced a lot of problems lack of money.

                      the SBI should be punished for its recklessness.

I have read the rules for opening an NRI account in SBI in any branch, as per this I have sent all scanned copy of application form filled to Kumta branch (Branch code 0865, Email -sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in). And I sent DD from Dubai to my wife and she will submit to bank. But bank manger is not accepting the DD and they are telling my application form should reach by hand and signed by Indian embassy. In your NRI service information not at all written regarding Indian embassy signature.                         I had purchased the credit card in March 2006.There was no medical insurance. when I receive the statement it was there. its keeps on increasing. I have used only once for Rs 135/ and deposited Rs 1400/. card had been blocked in Dec 2006. The bill is coming every month till last month. phone call come that disturb me lot. Please do something to solve this problem. I have never used this card except once.

                          Dear Sir,
                          This letter of mine may not be the only one you perhaps get from many of customers/consumers but it surely will make you aware about the atrocities being committed by SBI's inter departmental staff.

                          I shall like to bring to you notice that SBI had issued a card [protected] on my name and an additional Card [protected] to my wife both having an expiry date of 11/07 (November 2007).

                          My first complain is that I was unable to use the card since long initially pending payments which I feel I had been making for almost 2years but it was only when I called the 24hour helpline[protected] the person on the other side confirmed that my card has been made inoperative since long and if I registered a complaint then a letter would be sent to me to clear all my outstanding dues in a single shot after which I shall be issued a fresh new card.
                          When I sought explanation after registering complain as why I was not informed about my Card usage declination he was unable to answer my query [Complain no.”MQ[protected]” as given after the preliminary enquiry by the call center person] my complain in this regard is when I was unable to use my card since long and also SBI failed to send a letter for settlement why am I being asked to pay partially? Please also tell me why a new card has not been sent and also a letter in regard to the statement made by the call center person is true or not.

                          My second complain is I after registering my complain have got more than 3 calls asking me to pay my due amount do you not have an ONLINE call log which tells the status of a customer to the caller before he/she makes a call? If so then why am I being harassed by your people?

                          Should I mark a copy of the letter to RBI and Consumer Forum too?, as because it has gone too far to be hidden and please understand that I am working with the Government of West Bengal and wanted to clear all my dues since 2006 and had heated debates with ill mannered SBI call center people but no letter was sent to me to tell me exactly what amount I should pay.
                          Sir, I humbly request you to kindly see I get justice as a Customer and please help me clarify my queries to help me understand my fault.

                          Just to bring to your kind notice I have Credit Cards from ICICI (Gold) 3 nos., ICICI EMI Card 1no., HDFC 1 No., ABN AMRO 1No., I have been banking with ICICI for more than 4 years and also HDFC for over 2 years, I enjoy a Home loan with EMI of Rs.10500/- and also a personal loan from HDFC with EMI of Rs.6644/- and no default since last 2years plus from any also my monthly net salary is Rs.44000/- which leaves no question of my intention of not paying your CREDIT card.

                          I expect an early and favorable reply.

                          Respectfully, I would like to draw your kind attention towards the above said matter. Myself, Chandrachud Mishra, resident at Ranchi, Jharkhand had taken a S.B.I. Credit card in 2006. Although, I did not use it even at once, I cleared (deposited) all my outstanding balance and surrendered that credit card in 2007. Now, in May 2008 I got a SMS alert from S.B.I. that they have issued my card and I will get it in a week. Which exclaimed me that I have not applied for any card and not even thought of that then how could they issue it to me without my permission or application?                           Now, I would like to know a few things from your side-
                          1.How can they issue a Credit Card to me without my consent or application?
                          2. How can their organization issue a monthly outstanding statement for that card which is not even received, rather rejected, by the customer?
                          3. Is that organization be responsible for any type of bad incidence that could happen with me due to the mental tension that has been imposed on me with all these activities?
                          4. shouldn I report the matter to their higher authority (Reserve Bank of India)?

                          i have settled the credit card out standing ,my sbi card no is [protected], settlement tracer no is[protected],have settled the account for rs 26030 details are cheque no 579313 and 579314 dated 31/10/06 and 15/11/06 through canara bank jayanagaer 9 th block branch,for rs 13015 and rs 13015, inspite of having settled the account i have been receiving calls and letters which is very disturbing to the whole family, have spoke to the customer care centre and its of no use till date , recently have received a letter stating that this would be intimated to cibil whic is very annoying and disturbing,
                          Avoid credit cards from SBI at all costs. The smiling person who offers you the "gold" or "platinum" (or whatever) card will not be around when outstandings pile up on your card. And, the call center will not be of much help if you want to sort out things or seek more details.
                          In fact, SBI's call center employees are a bunch of mentally ill rogues who have total contempt for the customer's intelligence. They are simply trained to read from a user manual mechanically, and say totally irrelevant things when a customer asks them specific queries. If you attempt to bring them back on track, the fool will tell you not to interrupt him.
                          Last month, it took me three calls to verify a NEFT inquiry after repeated attempts by SBI's call centre employees to sidetrack my question. Suggest that these savages take some training in customer service and respectful behaviour from HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank or Microsoft.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I was using SBI Credit Card for 2-3 years between[protected]. I used to make all the due payments on due date without fail. However, in one of the months, I did not receive any bill from them and accordingly I did not make any payment. Next month I received the bill in which they charged me extra Rs. 300/- for non payment of bill in earlier month. I paid the bill for that month except for the amount of Rs. 300/- and wrote to them promptly that they had wrongly charged me extra Rs. 300/- for no fault of me. It was their duty to send me the bill and I had never defaulted in my payment obligations in any of the earlier months. However, they did not respond.

                            Thereafter, every month they kept on charging me Delayed Payment Interest since I was making all the payments due except for the delayed payment interest they were charging in the bill. I kept on writing to them that I do not agree to such charged levied in the bill but there was no response. Incidently, they have their office only at Delhi and they only give their Post Box no. for all correspondence.

                            Exhausted, I finally sent them notice under certificate of posting as no regd notice can be sent on post box address. Thereafter, they replied that I would have to pay all the charges which I refused and wrote to them that I was surrendering the card. I promtly stopped using the card thereafter but before that I paid all my dues except for the penal charges they had levied. I again wrote to them thereafter several times but they persisted on following me up for recovery rather than replying to my querries.

                            Now they are after me and harrassing me day in and day out through their recovery agents and by calling me on my telephone and mobile. In spite
                            of my repeadedly informing them that I had all the requisite and legally and morally justified dues, they are still persisting with their threats and are asking me to pay or face dire consequences.

                            Incidently, I have my housing loan a/c with one of the branches of SBI since 2000. The branch has lost all my original documents and is now skirting all responsibility in this regard and instead pressurring me to bring certified copies of the documents from sub registrars office and execute a regd mortgage. All my monthly payments are up to date.

                            Kindly advise me as to what remedy is available to me. Thanking you,

                              On 24.12.07 at about 9pm I went to an ATM Counter of SBI to withdrawn cash for Rs.2500/-. After entering all require information the transaction processing was complete but payment was not made due to hang of server. Immidiately I contract with customer care the told that your account will not debited. On the next morning I withdrawn cash of Rs.2500/-, but my account was debited Rs.5000/-. Immidiately contact Customercare and they told that the excess debited amount (Rs.2500) will credited to your account automatically with in 24hrs. But unfortunately till date after giving written complain (twice) to the respective branch manager neither any reply was given nor my amount has credited to my account. At the same time another 2 customers are suffering from the smae case. I think this is a major security laps related to ATM. So, kindly look in to the matter.

He checked the transaction and verified the same and ensured that an amount of Rs. 10000/- has been deducted from my account. Then he ensured that the amount will again be credited into my account automatically with in 48 hrs. Since then I have not done any transaction till date.
                              I would also inform you that I was waiting there till the system got rectified for around 1 and half hour. Thinking that some time the money may be delivered once the system starts, but I did not get the money. After the system was rectified the next person got his amount but only after using his card and doing all the formalities.

                              On 03 Oct 2008 when I tried to check the balance through ATM mini statement to my surprise an amount of Rs.9900 has been withdrawn from my account and no entry of Rs. 10000/- is available in the mini statement. I have submitted a written complain to my Parent Branch Manager (SBH BHEL MIG – Ramchandrapuram Hyderabad). Again I went to the Branch Manager of SBH Shapurnagar and informed the same. In front of me he checked my account and found that there were three transaction with the same transaction code A. 10000/- withdrawn B. 10000/- deposited and C. 9900/- withdrawn. Whereas I have not done any transaction since this incident in my account. Nor deposited not withdrawn.
                              Since then I have been running between both the Banks (Shapurnagar and BHEL ) to get my money back. Unfortunately till date after giving written complain (twice) to the respective branch manager and frequent visits and requests the amount has not been credited to my account till date.

But two days back when I inserted the card in the machine slot, the machine has rejected the card saying that it is invalid. Immediately I contacted the Officer-in- charge in the bank and I was told that the card might have developed some defect and that I must contact the Customer care-in-charge, get the card blocked, get a reference number and submit a new application form requesting for a new card in place of the old one. I tried to contact the Customer care-in-charge for the past two days over phone but with little success.                               I have an issue related to my Sbi bank ATM card. Today morning, at around 9:30 I tried to withdraw Rs. 2000 from my ATM card using another bank ATM machine (South Indian Bank ATM), that I have used many a times in past days. After entering all the essentials, the machine gave a message that said "you can collect your cash".
                              I waited for almost 10 minutes but unfortunately no money came out of the ATM machine. I thought it to be a technical fault & tried again with the same amount, but again the same thing happened. After that I went to an SBI ATM & issued a mini statement that shocked me as it showed a debit of RS, 4000 + 40 from my account.
                              I called up the SBI customer care & the executive told me that the amount will be credited to my account within 24 hours.
                              Please suggest me that should I wait or should I register a complaint with my SBI branch.

                              SBI Bank — transaction cancelled and account debited

                              Hi,

                              I have savings account of ICICI bank. On April 4th I tried to withdraw 10, 000 from SBI ATM and transaction got cancelled, after 3 hrs I got a message from ICICI saying account got debited for 10, 000. I called ICICI bank and I was given a complaint no. SR[protected] saying that I will get an update in a span of 12 days. After 12 days I got a message saying that SBI declined to have any excess cash in their ATM on that day and chargeback has been processed on paying bank. In the meantime I called ICICI and sent eamil that I want to raise a police complaint or go to counsumer court to atleast get the video clipping of that day and I was told that I don't have to do that. Tomorrow I should get a result; however, i want to know the possibilities of getting a video clip of that day.

                              I hold an SB account in the State Bank of India, Sikandra Branch (Br. Code 3003), Bihar and my SB account No.[protected]. On 11.06.2009 while I was trying to withdraw Rs. 5000/- from ICICI ATM (ATM ID S1AD0988) located at Ambassador Hotel, Station Road, Patna-1 the ATM displayed "last transaction cancelled, network error". Again from the same ATM I tried to withdraw Rs. 2000/- which was a successful transaction. Thereafter, I again tried to withdraw the balance amount i.e. Rs. 3000/- but the ATM displayed again "last transaction cancelled, network error". However, I found that Rs. 8000/- (Rs. 5000/- + Rs. 3000/-) displayed as "last transaction cancelled, network error" was debited to my Account even though no cash was transacted through ATM.
                              It is, therefore, requested that necessary action may kindly be taken to trace out the wrong ATM transaction and credit my Saving Account at the earliest.

                              Kindly check the Whitefield ATM counter, Its keys are very hard and even very slow also.

                              SBI ATM — ATM not working for past 20 days

                              3 ATMs in Russel Chowk are not working for last few weeks and the only ATM nearby it is of SBI itself. If we the common people use to go to withdraw money we have to be in Que for more than 30 minutes or else go 500 meters away. Despite calling Mr. Verma. his mobile use to be busy everytime.

                                and call to ur customer care request no.[protected] {mansi told me that not such offer available for u }
                                now pls tell me why i clear the chq from my bank and if that person have rights to call customer and provide such offers then why ur exective told me that person {amit}false....in future i never give u more amount........
                                plz call me abt this matter[protected],[protected].. and also send scanning of receipt and in chq backside ur exective signature on line{all dues clear till 5-5-07} ..........

                                i again mail u regarding this issue becoz i received reply from ur side but i m not satisfy.i want to tell or want 1 question that i[censored]r sr. exective or collection exective committed to give waiver of late payment charges .in ur reply u told me that u dont pay the charges continuously but u dint give me the answer regarding wrong commitment by Ur executive {i already mention her name and contact number}

                                i know that Sib group is very good group but the employee of the Sib group dent seen good.i want to clear the outstanding of credit card but only i want 1thing that Pl clear this issue.so that i continue to enjoy the services of Sib.

                                From the start of the card I have faced problem of receiving statement but after all the problems I have paid all the payments.when I have not received the statements In April,May ,June 2007.Your Sen. Ex Miss Ne ha Sexing([protected]) has call me to pay the full & final payment Of Rs 950. I have given a cheque of Rs.950 to your collection executive Mr. Ajay([protected]) and he told me to write full and final payment on the back side of the cheque.Miss Ne ha sexing told me there is no any money pending to you but after that your customer care has shown of outstanding of rs.2000 in my account.My all the money has paid this is the money is only the late payment charges.i have not used the credit card from last six months.Please do the needful.

                                I didnot receive my credit card but received a credit card statement mentioning my credit card no.[protected], I called to your customer care 3times ,yesterday(5/2/08) also i called ,I didnot get any satisfactory reply.I have already told noted down my office address :-197 communications,first floor,Devika Towers,Nehru Place,New Delhi-110019,My extension no. +[protected] ,where i want my credit card.This address i have already noted down on the month of December.                                 Cheating the customer!

                                I received GE Cashcard No. [protected]. They are very irregular in sending the statements. I used to drop the cheques in the specified drop box. later they informed me about the cheque pick up option.However, for few months they dint charge anything for it as told but after six months they started charging cheque pick-up fee at a stretch even adding for the past six months. Fed up with the services, I repaid the due amount during the end 2005, and requested for the closing of account but even that was denied as i was potential customer and did not have any default. I talked to the Bank regarding the wrong charges of cheque pick-up fees and the representative over the phone agreed to waive the same and adjust towards the dues and close and cancel the account. When I contacted over phone, they assured that they will reverse the same, and I will not receive any statement. However, i wanted to way off the personal accident insurance which was give by them, I now received a fresh statement specifying a total of OVER LIMIT FEE, FINANCE CHARGES & Insuarance Admin Charges. I want to bring this to the notice of all the customers of GE CASH CARD as well as prospective customers, so that they will be careful in the dealings with the Bank. I regret that no official / representative from the Bank bother to contact over phone or take correct action. Continuous phone calls to the Bank are yielding no results. and for your good will my name has been listed in the civil defaulters blacklist.

                                SBI Credit Card — SBI CREDIT CARD WAIVER NOT POSTED

                                I am using the SBI credit card, in may 2007 a waiver was commited to me in writing, but still has not been posted in the account. Consequently leading to pilling up on compounded intrests.
                                Have tried to contact the customer care center but they are least concerned. Now I am getting calls from the collection department, and they are insisting on settelment, which I dont want to. Why should I spoil my track record.
                                I would request you to intervene and provide a solution.

                                i am not getting the card monthly statement regularly. last month statemetn i have received only 10.06.2008 but the due date falls on 05.05.2008 then how i can able to pay the amount in time.

                                in the month of April'08 i have not received the statement so, overphone i have called and got the payment due details and paid in time but oversite by your mistake or our misteke we have shortly paid RS.100.00 for this you have charged fine RS. 600.00 if i have received the statement in time, i may be pay the coorect amount. this loss only because of your delayed statement.


                                alos one cheque has bouned in my a/c due to un avoied circumstance. ( this is the first time the cheque has bouned )for this my banks has charged RS. 400.00 you have charged RS. 500+1300 as finance charges. even thoug we have paid the payment very next day. this is very blender charges your doing. kindly revers any of the amount orther wise i am forced to close my credit card a/c. you are loosing one of the good customer.

                                Sorry to begin like this but your Bank executive or Bank reps have succeeded in testing my paitence to the limit. I am a custommer to your cedit card from last eight years. I had an amount of balance Rs.20, 000/- in my acount to be paid during the year 2007 i requested several time to the customer care as well as to the executive who comes to collect the amount/cheque to settle down my amont as Im leaving the place but all gone in vain gave only assurance by saying please pay this time and in next time will be sttled down. On Feb' 08 also i paid an amount of Rs. 4800/- and again request for settlement. After that no one contacted me and on 14 June'08 one bank executive name Deepak Kalra contacted me on my return to delhi and again asked for the money. This time i straight away denied and told the executive to first settle down as im leaving delhi after 2/3 months and he replied ok madam on 16th june i will come to your office and it will be sttled down. On 16.06.2008 the same person name Deepak Kalra came to my office and said Madam bank has agreed to settle down ur amount in Rs. 24, 800/- I surprised i said i had requested u when it was 20, 000/-and after that also i paid a lot again u r asking this amount. He talked to his boss over phone discused with him and said the last amount will be 15, 000/ not less than this and also in one shot. I said ok as my intension was honest. I told him to bring him sttlement letter he said no u first give the cheque im giving u receipt with NIL dues amount and u will received the letter within in two days as i have to bring it from Gurgaon office and also im giving u my I/Card copy i trust him on behalf of bank as he was authorised by the bank. I gave him the cheque of dtd 20.06.2008. After three days i called Mr. Deepak (I/Card No. 5312) and request him for my settlement letter he said Mdam u have not received till date ok i will bring it for u as im in Chandigarh rt now. Again after two days i called him up but he was not picking up the phone i called several times he was just diconnecting my call. I send him SMS to reply of my call or i will complaint for it. He then replied by SMS and said that one Mr. Narender Bisht (giving his cell No) is reponsible for my letter not him so better to talk to him and not to call him again. I shocked by this reply and i called Mr Narender Bisth he replied he dont know anything about it. One Mr. Sekhar next day contacted me and said madam u have been cheated as the Deepak has left the job two days ago I again shocked whreas bank has received the amount . Then i said ok Im going to police to lodge the compliant against the bank/ Executive so give the address of Deepak kalra they said we are sorry to provide that but instead of going to police u please first write ur complaint in this site the matter will be shorted out and u dont hve to pay any amount. It is very surprised a customer is facing so much of problem by the bank as the executive for collection have been hired by the bank and they are on behalf of the bank . So why i am not being isued my NOC from the bank even after paying the amount and why bank/executive is behaving in such a manner the after collection of amount of two days they thrown out of the job. As im writing in this site just to obey the direction o[censored]r customer care/executive. I request urself one more time to issue my NOC immediately and personnely look in to the matter.

                                my credit card expired in the first week of may but i have still not received a new credit card even though i am receiving the bills regularly with late fee fines.this shows the lack of proper service by your bank and this act o[censored]rs is very disaapointing.the helpline services are of no avail as the people have although assured me that they would send another card but they failed to keep their word but they have not failed to send their regular bills, with the late fine !this is very dissappointing and annoying.

                                I used my sbi card no [protected] and paid the dues properly. I took cash from atm at Madurai and paid the same in two or three instalments . Then i tore and submitted the card in the month of Sep 2007.After that i received many calls from the rep and asked me to pay the balance that is interest. I paid the same and asked them to clear the card and they also said yes to my request.But they did not. I paid more than what i encashed. Still i received calls from Chennai asking me to pay the interest.But i strongly said that i could not. I received notice also from the lawyers and they also asked me either to pay or send message to you. I feel deeply disgusted by the calls and reminders. Still i receive statement from you. I kindly request you to waive the interest amount accuring in my name on its own.It is not my fault. Pl verify the amount i paid to settle the card as per the representative's request. But they did not. This is for your kind perusal and information

                                Three year back i had applied for credit card but credit card had not received me.but statement was received with including insurance policy premium Rs.3550 something which was not informed me by executive. and now total outstanding is Rs.15745.69 such sms received on my mobile so what i can do right now. Actually I have not used credit card for single paisa also.

                                This is to state that in the month of August I started getting calls from various numbers stating that when are you paying . The calls are so harsh and threatening .On 21st August when everything was going above my head I asked the lady calling to provide me her name so that I can complaint .To which she refused to disclose. After a while she told me that she is Preeti and didnt tell me her Employee code .She called me 18 times from 10.15AM to 10.50AM and I almost attended 10-12 calls you can check the call details as she is calling from a mobile number [protected].
                                I would like to highlight here that how can someone call anyone for so many times. I was driving down to my office and I am on family way and have a BP poroblem, I have been asked to avoid tensions . But with these kind of people I think I would be suffering from serious ailments and I will hold SBI for the same as this female is representing SBI to me. Without any notication or any details how can someone call up for payments out of the blue. I hold SBI responsible for this inhiman behaviour of its employees and in future if suffer any kind of problem will hold it only responsible especially this female Preeti .

                                SBI - GE Credit cards — Online system logged me into another person's account

                                I am a SBI card(Tata card) customer. I used to track my credit card account details from tatacard.com and as the site went down, I have been suggested to use sbicard.com for the same.

                                I have used my credentials to login to my account, surpraisingly the system has logged me into another person's online account.

                                It is very strange and we did not expect this atleast from such big players SBI and GE who are collectively in this business.

                                Can I know a better place to escalate about this issue to avoid such laps of future incidents?
                                Could some one guide me to complaint against this to RBI or any regulatory authority in any case if possible?

                                SBI Credit Card — SBI false waiver commitment, by SBI credit card executives.

                                Credit card executives at SBI, have tried to deceive me, to promote the credit card,
                                by promising that there want be any charges collected for annual renewal or joining.
                                But later in the verification call I was stated terms wherein I had to pay joining, annual and renewal fee.
                                where the call center executive advised me to accept the terms saying it was just a verification call and
                                was a standard procedure, and would later be waved. The executives where simply misleading to
                                see I accept the terms and receive the card, while trying to take my assent for the same on paper and on call.

The money which i have not utilised and the greatest administrative mistake from your end, on what account you are goint to punish the normal citizen. You are not replying any thing against my several communications and straight way you are sending the legal demand notice for payments, which you have wrongly debited.

                                    Kind attn : mr. Rajiv krishnan – g. M. – sbi credit card – for immediate actions.
                                    Received the statement dated 09.01.2008, again in which you have debited the same amount of fin. Charges, instalment of emi, interest charges etc. Please arrane to take the actions immediately to stop this wrong debits.

                                    Let me congratulate to all team members and the head of SBI cards for having a very competitive and efficient team. This is with regards to mail below which was send to me by head of the cards division as a system generated response but to my utter surprise (mail below is dated 27 March 2009 23:31) your head of cards division has not found enough time to get back to the customer till date.

                                    I am from Bangalore and on 5th June, 2010 I have received a call from SBI Credit Card Division Call Centre asking for somebody else. I told that person you have called a wrong number, please check the number at your end and disconnected the phone. Again the same fellow has called from landline which is from Chennai and threatened me using absuive and filthy language saying that he will send his persons and break my legs and hands. I am not at all a customer of SBI Card and I am not at all concerned person whom he wants to contact, but still I have been threatened by these call centre executive. This is the way the SBI Card Division is working. These blady fellows are behaving very cheaply than the roadside goondas. Shame on the SBI for keeping such a blady as their staff and loosing their respect among the people who are trusting the brand SBI.

                                    Now I have decided to lodge a Police Complaint as well as a defamation case in the Consumer Forum and also I am loding a complaint with Banking Ombudsman agianst SBI Credit Card Division.
                                    I was approached by telephone a few years back by S B I credit card and offered free of cost the card in my name and 1 add-on card. The following year They charged and reversed, subsequently again charged which I never paid and actual amont which I spent, I paid and cut the cards to send them, I did that.

                                    Now the ghost bill followed to chase me and They reversed it after sucking a lot of my blood over telephone. This year they offered me free of cost, which they charged, promised to reverse, not reversing, no response either. Blood sucking process has started, I will post again after their cheating/dacoity/ robbery stops. I had written SBI credit card is a national shame.

                                      I made a cash payment of Rs.9350- (INR Nine Thousand Three Hundred Fifty only) on 27-Dec-2007 at the GE Money, Ravipuram, Kochi office towards my above credit card.


                                      I received receipt for Rs.9350- (Receipt No.10287152, book no.205744) dated 27-Dec-2007.


                                      However, my credit card statement is showing a credit of ONLY RS.1350- as on 28-Dec-2007. THE NARRATION GIVEN IS CHEQUE DEPOSIT WHILE I HAVE MADE A CASH DEPOSIT OF RS.9350-


                                      Please look into this urgently and resolve.

                                        I made some purchases on my SBI credit card. I wanted to make the full amount. But when the SBI tele caller called me in the same week requesting to convert the full amount into flexi pay, I agree to it. But even after waiting for three months and several calls to their call center I did not get the bills. After 3-4 months they sent me a bill overcharging astronomical amount under several heads which were beyond my understanding. Then they blocked my card and started giving pressure calls for payment. Several people call up in a single day describing them to be the heads of several departments. They started threatening me and my family and started turning up at odd hours. They insist that they have the rights and not to bother about the laws. Their manager Mr. Venketesh is so rude that he denies the existence of Banking Ombudsman (for example calls on 08 and 09 / 01/ 2008). He insists that he has the full immunity from the law and says that the regulations formulated by the RBI’s Banking Ombudsman are applicable to them. He even says with proud that he has the power to kidnap anyone. He calls up from several numbers including[protected] and based out of office at Ashok Bhupal Chambers, Sardar Patel Road, Secunderabad. I would like to ask that
                                        1. Did I make a mistake opting for one of the offers from SBI?
                                        2. Do the collection managers of SBI credit card have full immunity from the law and they are above the law?
                                        3. What is the bank’s step to overcome to such threatening and dangerous persons?

                                        I even have the similar kind of problem. I used to pay regular payments to the bank in the beginning executive used to collect the money. Due to some financial crisis, two payments were missed, and thus they J blocked my card (as informed by SBI executive) and made it not usable. When I spoke with a person whom the executive dialed up, he introduced himself as the manager, however, said, evenif the whole outstanding amount is paid, the card cannot be unblocked, instead suggested me to close it. I agreed to it and the amount decided was Rs.20000. I said the amount will be paid in two instalments. On spot I gave a cheque of Rs.10000 (vide 81885) which was cleared on 09/09/2008 from my account towards the first instalment. Expecting the settlement letter soon, which was not received till date. To my surprise, the payment was credited in to the balance of the credit card. This I got to know after two months, all my calls to the respective excutive are gone futile. Almost from past 7 months, I have been receiving calls from various people asking for the payment. Visiting my residence at vague hours. Threatening of bringing police to my house and also talking to my Boss at office. Today, the situation has become worse, a person introduced himself as Mr.Tirupati Reddy called me at my lunch time and started arguing about the payments. Even after my clear explanation about the issue, he started asking if I had any proof that their executive had promised about the settlement. I have no proof, however, he argued with me and threatened that he would bring police to my house and discuss the same with my parents.
                                        Note: I totally paid 14400 towards my card after their executive had told me to settle the card for Rs. 20000, I said I would pay the difference amount and settle it.

                                        Here I wanted to know few things,

                                        1) Why collections departments try harassing even parents for the payments?
                                        2) Why would they not approach customers through court?
                                        3) Is there any way that I can stop them from bieng to my house?
